Not sure if this counts as malicious compliance but here it is anyway.
For context, I am a gen z software engineer based in India. The manager I mention here is not my reporting manager but someone who leads the project (why do companies hand out the title 'manager' like candy?)
Recently I got assigned to a project that is only tangentially related to my skill set. One day in, the manager wanted a hard deadline. Since it was a hard deadline, I insisted again and again that I couldn't give a deadline that would even be reasonably accurate because of my unfamiliarity with the tech stack which makes it difficult to impossible to give a deadline. Did I mention that I am the only person working on it? It is the manager's pet project (that he stole from another employee) that couldn't get much support internally. Relenting, I give an optimistic estimate of 2.5 weeks and was sure to mention over email that this will only hold assuming nothing goes wrong (things always go wrong). And attached my leave plan that couldn't be altered due to family reasons.
One week in, I realise the manager had severely under reported the complexity and I tell him that it will miss the deadline unless he can get another developer working with me. He said ok and didn't get anyone else. Now approaching the deadline, I mention that I will be taking the leaves I had mentioned and they couldn't be cancelled. The manager is furious why I didn't tell him before and wont listen when I said I did many times. I made sure to take screenshots snd records of everything to cover my ass.
I learned from another employee that the manager stole his idea, passed it off as his own and promised the upper management a hard deadline of 3 weeks. Why 3 weeks? Because that's when promotions will be decided upon and the manager was banking on using this stolen idea to gain his promotion.
Needless to say that I put in a bit more effort than I should for the remaining couple days out of basic courtesy (the project is still far from done) and handed over the code with detailed documentation. And took my leave.
What will happen to the manager? Idk, I am on leave and I won't be a corporate slave and check my mail on vacation.
And I am not worried about it impacting me. The company I work for is owned by a US company. I have directly worked with multiple people (in the US based entity) outranking him by 3 levels and more who love my work quality because I vastly outperform my peers while working fewer hours, which they happily overlook because there is never an issue with my output and I clean up other's mess (with credit ofc).

Alright folks, now rules are simple for this, as this is just gonna be a fun little game for this sub for suit predictions for tonight's banner.

• I want one MS guessed per category... so each week you can put down what General unit you might think the banner suit is, what Raid unit, and what Support unit. This is to make it fairer to peeps than just limiting it to one MS guess a post since holy crap we got quite the possible roster with how BB has been doing new units.
• No editing your post once you put it up so that no one cheats while I'm at work and changes their guess to the correct banner suit. I can see in the mod tools what posts have been edited so if I see it's edited, you're disqualified. If you spell the suit name wrong, I'll allow it as long as you get it close enough, don't need any freaking keyboard smashers trying to argue they got it right with a 'ksbosgaigmk2'.
• Multiple people can guess the same suits, I'll reward everyone who got it right, but if BB ever announces what suit's coming ahead of time, then I'll change it for that week to guess on if there's gonna be any background aka extra suits added to the lotto alongside the banner suit.
• Voting will close at 11 pm Central time, so any votes made after that time will not count... yes I know the banner doesn't update till midnight when Daylight Savings isn't in effect but it's best to just keep the closing time consistent.
• You must guess a different suit for each category, no more of this just guessing the same suit for all three categories for a shotgun approach. It's gotten extremely old at this point, and I want people to actually think about why the suit they chose would fit the typing rather than just spitting out an MS name and hoping they get lucky.

Now, as for the prize... seeing as how I'm not exactly flush with disposable income outside of being able to afford a gunpla hobby and my gaming stuff... anyone who gets it right will be able to request a user-flair with an ace nickname of their own design. If you can't think of one, just DM me a screenshot of your best game or tell me your favorite unit, map, and what UC faction you love the most and I'll think of something for you. Obviously, I won't participate myself since I already have an Ace nickname... and I'm a mod, so I can just change my user flair whenever the hell I want to anyway.
Of course, if you've won one of these already, I'll still reward you with a change to your user flair by adding a 'kill' tally to your flair. Every time you get it right after earning your flair, you'll get how many times you guessed correctly recorded, so it'll look like 'User Flair Name - 2' if you've got 2 right, etc, etc.
Now get to guessing folks! Let's see if anyone is earning an ace distinction this week, and yes, you need to get both the suit and the type (General/Raid/Support) correct for it to count.

Let me start by saying that I love TaskUs. The reason I'm even exerting effort in writing this proves my point. But for all the good you've done for me, this one I can't let pass. Of all the benefits, of all the programs, of all things to cut costs down to, why did it have to be our HMO?
First off, it's a slap in the face to employee well-being. You're basically saying, "We don't really care if you can access quality healthcare or not." It's like they're valuing saving a few bucks over the health and happiness of their own workers. Not to mention the decision to pro-rate our allowances when we're out sick.
And let's talk about productivity. How are your teammates supposed to focus on their work when they're constantly stressed out about whether their insurance will actually cover them when they need it most? It's like the company is shooting itself in the foot by choosing an HMO that's more trouble than it's worth.
Not to mention the waiting time and process to be medically examined Good luck retaining top talent when you're offering them healthcare coverage that's about as reliable as a broken-down car. Employees want to feel valued and taken care of, and if they can't even count on their insurance when they get sick, they're going to start looking for greener pastures elsewhere.
When morale is very low, the executives count on the Team Leaders and Operations Managers to de-escalate this.
I still love you and I won't resign but except the quality of my work to really be affected. You lost yourself a promoter, a top performer. Fuck that.

frankly, they're both horrid.
both of them are purely based around how much 2 people like a level AND the creator, of which only one of them (robtop) actually can rate your level and give it the rating status (featured, epic, etc), and the other can make your level more visible to him.
this is flawed, oh it's really, really flawed, as this doesn't enforce creativity and originality, but rather, it encourages heavy inspiration off certain styles, hence why so many rated levels today look very much the same (take a look at modern levels, glow levels, etc, you can clearly observe the resemblances and lack of diversity). if you want a rated level, you don’t have to make something which you like, or which 1000 other people will like, or something unique and creative. to get a rated level, what you need is to please someone (a moderator) enough to make your level more visible to robtop, only for then to be a slim chance of him ever seeing your level at all, which even if he does, if he doesn't like it, it doesn’t matter what half the community thinks, he won't rate it. (see Tidal Wave, which took way too long to get rated)
that's one flaw, but not the only one. another flaw would be the clear and obvious bias toward bigger and more well known creators, where the odds of their levels getting rated are much higher when compared to others, meaning they don't need to put as much effort in their levels for them to get rated. is that bad? not at all, i'm a firm believer that all levels with somewhat normal gameplay and some decent visuals should get star rated, at the very least. but that's just me. anyhow, the reason why i bring this up is because of the recent incident of dislike botting (?) and harassment on Split72. they claim they just build levels for fun, and whatever that's true or not, it doesn’t matter whatsoever. what matters, however, is that because of robtop and the mods' bias, Split's levels are more likely to get rated, while other people's levels won't. so because of them, Split is the one that gets targeted, not robtop.
and lastly, the third most important flaw is the rating standards.
tell me please, what does one need to make a level that is legendary or mythic worthy? what about epic and feature worthy? what about rated at all? you know what you need? you need """good""" decoration, some gameplay, and fame. a lot of people forget that we have only had 3 rating statuses, which worked somewhat fine (rated only for levels with decoration that's decent and decent gameplay, featured for good decoration and decent gameplay, and epic for amazing decoration and decent gameplay), but with the addition of Legendary and Mythics, people debate what levels deserve these ratings? many believe they should be amazing levels with breath taking decoration and gameplay, which fair enough that's understandable, but you need to understand that many years of 3 rating statuses fucked us up badly. many featured levels of 2.1 could fit in the mythic status and many epic levels could fit in the legendary status, but people don't understand it because they still need to get used to it.
i propose an idea for rating standards: rate only - levels with some gameplay and some visuals. featured - levels with decent decoration and some gameplay. epic - levels with good decoration and good gameplay mythic - levels with amazing decoration or effects, polished, and with good gameplay. legendary - levels with amazing and polished decoration and effects, well optimised, and with amazing gameplay.
the status is not proposed by robtop or mods, but by players themselves, where mods' count as 10 status points. make there be some sort of moderator rank but higher, able to rate levels, maybe call it admin. admins can rate levels in a similar manner to robtop, but are limited to 5 rates a day, and only robtop should be able to unrate them.
what could my idea do? make the rated level achievement more accessible to everyone. lower the standards for rated and featured levels whilst also increase the standards for mythic and legendary levels. slightly reduce the bias. increase the number of rated levels by a lot, and more levels to play = more fun for all.
this is in fact pretty much excluding gameplay, but a level playing changes more from player to player than whether a level looks decent or ass.

That's 7.5 years and counting. There's no coin for this one. As a milestone, it's maybe a bit lacking, but I've seen it coming and thought it worthy of mention.
Quick story: last week, we had to put down our dog, who I have had for 17.5 years. It was pretty gutting. That was Friday. Two days prior, my wife ended up admitted to the hospital with a heart rhythm issue (she's fine now). On Wednesday, I was double-booked for kids' activities while she was in the hospital, so I had to call for help to get them where they needed to be. The following day, I was mowing my parents' yard because my dad is too unwell to do it anymore. He stood outside and oversaw as he always does, the Parkinsons really causing him to shake more than I have ever seen.
As I mowed, the list of tasks to be completed to get through the week was full of uncertainty and unpleasantness. That's a bad recipe for me. As I mowed, though, I could only return to a place of gratitude that I would handle each of these issues, in turn, while sober. That was the only thought of drinking I had through the shitshow that was last week. The stress passed. The act of helping someone else by easing his burden made mine feel lighter, too.
I have worked at sobriety to make it resilient. Because of that, I am resilient. I am not impervious to the temptation of alcohol, but if I can lose a dog while my wife is hospitalized and my dad is slipping away, I feel I can handle life on life's terms, as long as I remember who and what I am--a grateful, recovering alcoholic.

So with all the talks of balancing changes and possibly a lot more buffs on the way especially relating to ARs, I thought it'd be interesting/fun to brainstorm some ideas/changes that could be made simply to ARs and what impact it'd have on the overall sandbox of weapons. People should pitch in their own thoughts and ideas too especially if you feel I'm wrong about this.
Liberator:

• Increase it's damage to 65.
  
• Reduce recoil to 10.
  

(This better allows it to compete with the defendepummeler without replacing them since they're both one handed. Recoil would now be like the current Tenderizer and make this the most reliable/beginner friendly AR besides the revamped Liberator Penetrator.)
Liberator Penetrator:

• Increase it's damage to 70.
  
• Reduce it's recoil to 15.
  

(This will be the weakest medium armor penetrator in the AR category but it will do a tiny bit more damage be far easier to keep on target. Won't replace the Standard Liberator since it has less ammo per mag and has worse recoil.)
Liberator Concussive:

• Increase damage to 75.
  
• Reduce recoil to 20.
  
• Increase Fire Rate.
  
• Reduce Max Mags by 2.
  

(This allows the Liberator concussive to deal slightly more damage while also being easier to handle without again nullifying the point of the pummeler and not directly competing with the Standard Liberator.)
Adjudicator:

• Increase damage to 95.
  
• Reduce recoil to 30.
  

(This AR should be the highest damage dealing AR but with a low magazine size and still high recoil but a recoil that's a bit more fun.)
Tenderizer:

• Increase damage to 75.
  
• Increased penetration to medium.
  
• Increase recoil to 20.
  
• Reduce Max Mags by 2.
  

(This AR can be a sort of middle of the road medium armor penetration AR where it deals good damage, has good recoil control and better ammo overall than the Adjudicator but it doesn't totally replace the Liberator Penetrator due to having more recoil.)
All the ARs should deal more damage without nerfing or buffing the SMGs outright, the SMGs with ballistic shield is amazing versus bots and the only way to beat that is raw damage/reliability. (Personally I'd also buff the mag count of the Concussive SMG to compensate for having less damage than the Concussive Liberator too.)
What does everyone else think? I'm well aware that without actually testing this stuff some of it could still cause certain ARs to be favored over others but I do believe with these changes each AR would be selected on a preference based basis rather than simply what actually works well.
Any suggestions or ideas beyond ARs maybe?

The Focus Group episode May 11th was centered around thia year's upcoming Maryland Senate. Sarah and Michael discussed Larry Hogan's chances with Trump at the top of the ticket and which Democrat would get the nomination.
I do not live in Maryland and had not been following the Democratic Senate Primary closely. The two Democratic frontrunners for the Senate Seat were David Trone & Angela Alsobrooks.
Sarah and Michael made it clear they felt David Trone would be the stronger Democrat to run against Larry Hogan. Sarah and Michael also appeared to believe David Trone had a clear advantage in the Democratic Primary for the seat. The voters Sarah spoke to had far more favorable things to say about David Trone.

How did the analysis Sarah & Michael get this one so wrong? On the show it was repeated states David Trone seemed to have the advantage and Angela Alsobrooks was mostly criticized as a bad candidate. Yet the votes were counted and it was even that close.

To preface one thing - this is in Singapore, I am half singaporean and half thai, I have no close friends or family members around here, but I study here.
So after many years of dating and many quite one sided and manipulative relationships with guys and after 3 months of being single I finally got into relationship with my GF. First time trying lesbian dynamic. I felt it would be very different, she would understand me more and was less demanding of me and of course less physical and simply more harmonious, since, you know it's a fellow woman.
I was also taking it slow and we had like dozen dates before getting entangled officially couple months ago. She is quite lovely and well educated, slightly older than me, somewhat exotic looking around here and it felt we are becming good friends.
When we finally hooked up she had to guide me a lot because it's indeed quite different dynamic than with a guy but that was fine, I guess and she seemed to even enjoyed and would joke about how I was lesbian virgin and she can shape me to be suited for her. Which I thought at the time was cute.
Long story short I recently finally moved in with her and that was a mistake. I've been at her place most of the time we would hang out because my place was really tiny. Right after I moved in I was just in a span of week introduced to basically a laundry list of chores I should do and at the time I thought alright we pull this together right, but we didn't. After next couple weeks I realised (for the first time ever) that I am doing the same chores I would be doing for my former boyfriends and I started to feel, yet again, more as a maid with benefits. This time I had courage to voice that to my GF and she would apologise and be all sweet about how she didn't realise and that would coo me for another week, but no changes would actually happen. Only now I think it's been manipulative.
Since I am a university student and a "gym bunny" I have less free time than one would expect and suddenly it was filled mostly by coming home doing chores before going to gym and then coming from gym and my GF would be still up and then she would be demanding for attention, mostly in bedroom. This is when I've also noticed that while guiding me in bedroom she never seemed eager to pleasure me in return unless I would specifically ask and so for days I tried not to ask and suddenly it was super one sided bedroom stuff and she seemed perfectly fine with that. That stung because it immedaitelly reminded me of my last 3 boyfriends where it was the same.
I held a lot of this in, trying to keep being disciplined and do all she'd like me to do and chores and everything more and better in hopes of her seeing more value in me. But it simply didn't happen, not over course of two plus weeks.
Well this weekend I was using her ipad, where she always logged off out of all social and communication apps when she wasn't using. I always thought it's a like... internet safety thing in case the device gets hacked or something. But this time her whatsapp and wechat was logged in and I simply discovered that while I am at school and she's "working" from home she's hooking up at least once a week with guys. Or at least mostly with guys I wasn't in the mood to read into too much detail, seeing texts of your presumeably loved sending very intimite and heartfelt texts to guys and reacting to their D pics and sending stuff back... I felt betrayed but so far I haven't said anything and the routine contiues to my own detrement.
From doing gymnastics on higher level for 10+ years I'm used to some discipline and manners that would now be probably consider abuse, but what I learnt from that was to be quiet a lot not to cause conflict and please people. Despite my previous relationships with guys being basically abusive it was eventually always them to dump me, I never had the guts to do it yet (not counting middle school lol). This time I recognize the problem and I would like to end things but at the same time I moved too soon (in hindsight) and have nowhere to go at the moment.
And so for weeks I felt like maid and for 4-5 days now I feel more like bang maid who's also stupid and naive and I couldn't contemplate a good .. like escape plan, that's why I am making this post. In the meanwhile I continue the same old routine unable to almost meet my GF's eyes, yet she seem strangely not noticing any change and looking quite happy. On top of that you probably can guess how I feel being at school, knowing there's a decent change she's out hooking up. It just all crushing my selfesteem yet I feel stuck in the routine and my head.

“Aye Captain, now's a good a time as any. As you know, the rate of disciplinary incidents has more than tripled in the last two weeks. We've had six fistfights, one near strangling, a few dozen counts of sexual harassment amongst different parties, and a few more incidents of a nature that I would rather not get into for fear of derailing the point of this conversation. I need additional resources to allocate towards ship internal security. With your permission, I'd like to borrow some of our more trusted marines to help the MA's out on their off shifts.” Commander Alvarez asked.
“Yeah, of course, take what you need to nip this in the bud. I can't say I'm entirely surprised; we expected a certain amount of this with the stresses of FTL travel. With everyone cooped up like this, maybe we should brainstorm some new outlets for the crew. Were there any specific incidents I need to get involved with?” Henry replied as he looked up from the list of updates and reports on his own console.

By all right this should be your command, not mine.” Henry asked, after taking one last look around to verify they were still alone around the system map.

An emergency alert snapped both of their attention out of their conversation. "There's a fire in one of the officer's cabins?!" Henry’s pulse quickened as he referenced the map to find which one.
“Fuck, it started in Chantal’s room!” Henry said, horrified.
“I've got the CIC under control. Go on and get her, I'll ensure help is on the way!”
“Thank you, Commander.” Henry called back over his shoulder as he rushed for the quick lift.
The officer cabins were the in the very next deck overhead, so he was able to arrive quickly and break into a sprint. The ship shifted as it dodged some antimatter, causing Henry to slip and scramble back to his feet. As he rounded the corner he saw her door was closed and the keypad powered was off. He could hear thumps and muffled screaming from within the room.
"HANG ON CHANTAL, I'M COMING!" Henry shouted in the hope that she could hear him as he pried at the manual override panel.
Two modified Paladin exo-combat armor suits rounded the corner seconds later with a hospitalman trailing behind pushing a medical cart.
"WE'LL TAKE IT FROM HERE, SIR." A speaker-amplified voice spoke from behind him.
One of the Paladin suits accessed the manual control override and forced the door open enough for the other suit to reach in and pry it the rest of the way open as smoke plumed into the corridor. The second suit charged into the room with its flood lights on as a water cannon mounted on the right wrist sprayed flame retardant from a pack on its back. The first suit abandoned the door control and entered, emerging moments later with Chantal awake and coughing from inside the darkened door frame. She was quickly ushered into cleaner air, set gently down, wrapped in a blanket, and was quickly attended to by a hospitalman who began to check her vitals.
Relief flooded Henry’s mind as his adrenaline surge broke against the wall of worry he had built up during his mad dash from the CIC.
“Baby you came for me! I honestly thought I was going to die for a moment in there." She pulled him into a tight embrace as she wept in cathartic release.
"Of course I did! I couldn't stand to lose you, especially not over something like this. So, what the hell happened in there?"
"Well you know me, I was all burning the midnight oil and then I smelled smoke! Then there were some sparks, the outlet pops then whoosh! My computer station and my desk are all ablaze along with half my notes, then the damned door wouldn't work! I had to drop to the floor under the smoke and pound on the door in hopes that someone would hear me. God, it was horrible... I don't think I've ever been so scared in my life." She replied with a deep shudder.
"You're safe now, it's going to be alright."
"I know, but what about my work?" She replied with a forlorn look back at her smoke damaged room.
"What about your work?"
"As you know, I lost a ton of it just now, but what’s worse is I don't even have the ability to recover them! Remember how I lost my backup drive last week? Like, I know I packed it and it is not here anywhere! It’s like some sick cosmic joke on me or something. Sorry! Gotta keep it positive, girl! I get to rethink my last few weeks’ worth of work from scratch... that was almost positive! I probably have most of this recoverable from email sent box backups. Fuck, what do you do if there's no good silver lining?” Chantal bemoaned.
Henry couldn’t help himself but laugh for a second, while his girlfriend stared at him, waiting for a response.
“I’m sorry, is this funny to you or something?”
“No, no of course not. This might be one of those times where the only silver lining is that you're alive. Plus, if anyone can remember and rebuild their notes, you can." Henry smiled down at her.
“Fine, fine, at least I am alive. I was only breathing smoke for a few seconds after all.” She said, rolling her eyes. “Thank you for rushing down here right away anyway, it means a lot. You're amazing, you know.”
Henry smiled, slightly uncomfortable for a moment, so he changed the subject.
“I do my best... Anyway, it seems like these electrical issues seem to be getting worse instead of better. Whatever patch these clowns have slapped on my ship to get her to pass inspection is clearly coming undone. What do you think is going on here?” Henry asked in mild exasperation.
“Honestly, I can’t tell you without digging into the systems myself, which I would rather avoid. My plate is full enough as it is right now, especially having to reproduce so much of my own work now. This ship has kilometers of power cables running throughout it, after all, and you have an entire loyal, capable team down there in electrical, so it should only be a matter of time before they sort it out for you. Let them do their jobs without harassing them too much, please?”
Henry felt a little irked at her for not giving him credit to know not to go overboard, but he stowed it, seeing as she was right.
“The crew has been under a lot of stress, too, having technical issues with the lights going out, or losing power to workstations. More than a few people have tried to convince me to turn us around and return to S33 for a more in-depth refit and repair cycle before we try the mission again. So far, everyone has accepted the fact that we are not turning back now without much argument, but I fear what may happen if these issues are seen as getting worse. Our orders are clear, though, we must continue the journey.” Henry said, uncomfortable with the implications, even if he didn't dare voice it.
“You should get on the Q-Comm to report the fire to S33. Maybe they will order us back to base after this.” She offered, looking for a solution to an impossible problem.
“Good idea, at least the Q-Comm is still working. It’s incredible to me those particles maintained their entanglement once we passed through the baryonic barrier. That alone has been a huge morale boost, being able to contact home base with no time lag.” Henry replied.
“It’s incredible to you because you only have a basic grasp of the science, hon. But that’s alright, very few people truly understand it. That’s in part what you have me here for anyway. Einstein called the effect spooky action from a distance; I always liked that line.”
Henry ran his fingers through his hair and looked at Chantal, with a shake of his head and a smile.
“Listen, Henry, I just had a crazy stressful experience and I need to unwind. Plus, I haven’t slept in almost a day, so I am bone tired. Let’s go to bed, huh? What do you say doc, am I clear to go?” Chantal asked.
The hospitalman closed her eyes and shook her head before responding. "Yes, you are cleared to rest, only to rest, do you understand me?"
Chantal mouthed a thank you before she took Henry by the hand and led him off to the captain’s quarters. Henry felt no desire to fight it, nor flaw with her reasoning. Sleep sounded good, really good. Plus, he was about an hour from the start of his sleep shift anyway, and Alvarez had the CIC well covered. The lights flickered again, but Henry very purposefully ignored it.
“Hey, since we have a little time and we are both a little wound up, Why don’t we take a shower together real quick?” She said with genuine enthusiasm and a wink.
“Madam, I like the way you think.” The couple raced just a bit faster than regulations would have liked, and arrived at his door in record speed. Inside the room they fell upon each other in great passion and need, stripping each other out of their BDU’s and underclothes. Henry tossed a giggling Chantal onto the bed, kissing her neck and nibbling on her ear causing her to purr in anticipation before he moved down her chest, past her navel, and then eagerly began to move his kisses in between her thighs.
“Hah…. I haven’t showered. Are you sure? Oooookay! I think…. Hah…. Okay.” She said breathlessly as Henry began to work his tongue until she began to shiver and squirm before she cried out and melted in his mouth.
“Enough, please, I can’t take it anymore! Just fuck me already!” Chantal pulled herself together enough to beg for it. Henry stood rigid and ready and set himself to granting her request, first slowly, and with a growing intensity. She once more began to squirm as he paid close attention to her hip’s cues, knowing very well by now what she liked.
As she climaxed again, Henry lifted her from the bed and pushed her up against the wall, and then bent her over his desk for a bit before he could take it no longer and they finished together.
“Holy shit… my legs aren’t gonna work for a bit after that one. Help me up?” Chantal said in between shallow breaths.
“Yes, ma’am. It would be my pleasure.” Henry said as he helped her to her feet and into the shower, staying in longer than was strictly necessary.
Henry left the steam first, once more thankful that his cabin included its own small bathroom, rather than a communal one. Being captain had its perks, after all. He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist, then handed another to Chantal who gratefully accepted it before it dropped to the ground as she stared straight past him.
“Henry!" She squeaked as she pointed past him.
"What?" Henry asked, confused.
"Henry, someone was in here!”
On their bathroom mirror, wiped from the steam were the words TURN BACK.
Henry's blood ran cold and his adrenaline spiked him into overdrive. He waved Chantal back into the shower and put his finger to his lips. She nodded then wrapped herself in her retrieved towel and dropped to the shower floor with her arms wrapped around her knees, whimpering slightly. Henry moved silently along the wall, watching the visible half of his room for any movement. He then burst round the door frame, only to find everything perfectly, precisely as they had left it. The shock of finding nothing collided with the spike of his adrenaline surge, which only fed his growing unease.
“There’s nobody here!” Henry called out after checking the closet, the only other place someone could have hidden.
“Did you lock the door?” Chantal asked, her mind already working on the mystery.
“I set the security protocol to auto lock every time it closes.”
“Paul. We need to talk to Paul.” Chantal said, squeezing her BDU’s up over her hips with a few hops. Henry pulled on his undershirt before tossing over hers.
“Why would we want to bring that weasel into this?” Henry asked, incredulous at to how he could possibly help.
“Because he has access to the surveillance tapes, why else?”
Henry stared at Chantal, brimming with rage, trying his hardest to keep it isolated to Paul over the invasion of his privacy.
“Did you just say surveillance tapes!?!” Henry asked in an icy tone. “That does it, I’m going to strangle him.” Henry said, moving with a purpose toward the door.
“Stop. Turn around and give me a kiss. I already disabled the video cameras, at least all the ones I could find. He has audio at best, even that I doubt. What he does have that I want is the data from the motion sensor that he had installed just in case you found the more obvious bugs. Unfortunately, I sabotaged its effectiveness by blocking the sensor with dense foam, but there might be enough of something to give us a clue."
“How in the hell do you know about all of this anyway, and why the hell didn’t you tell me?!” Henry roared.
“This entire enterprise is run by an intelligence agency; how can you not have seen that one coming a mile away? I have gotten very good at catching bugs over the years. Just because I expect the invasion of privacy to be happening, doesn’t mean I have to make it easy on them.” She replied firmly while staring him in the eyes with raised eyebrows.
“You’re incredible, I love you.” Henry blurted out before he could catch himself. Chantal beamed and tackled him to the bed sitting on his lap.
“What took you so long? Never mind, don’t answer that. I love you too, I have wanted to say that one for a while now.”
“You know these things aren’t easy for me. I had to be sure, I also didn’t want to mess anything up. We need to be able to work together even if we had turned out to be a bad couple.” Henry admitted, Chantal made an show as she thought it over, but she then smiled and helped Henry to his feet.
“Alright, my captain. You speak great wisdom. While I have certainly felt, and thoroughly enjoyed, the depths of your passion, it is really nice to hear about it too. I do think it makes it all the better that you rule said passion with reason. It’s one of the many things I love about you.” She said, laying her hand over his heart.
Henry took her other hand and kissed it before replying. “I think above all, I wanted to make sure that I didn’t take you for granted, nor suffer the same in reverse. A wise woman once gave me some great advice there that I have taken to heart.”
“Okay, Romeo, maybe you have a better handle on these things than you think. Now… Let’s go interrogate Paul.” Chantal had a fire in her eyes that Henry was loving very much at that moment.
“I have wanted to turn the screws on that spook for a while now.” Henry smiled as he spoke, and he opened up the connection to the ship’s intranet through his neural implant to send a message.
MEET ME IN YOUR QUARTERS IN 5 MINUTES FOR A DISCUSSION OF CRITICAL IMPORTANCE – CPT. O'TOOLE
“That ought to get him there and alone.” Henry smirked. “Let’s go.”
Together, they made their way to Paul’s equivalent-sized quarters, which he had somehow secured for himself in the ship design to help facilitate his role as the official thorn in Henry’s paw. I guess being the captain’s handler has its perks as well. Henry’s eye twitched at the corner.
After making them wait far too long, Paul opened the door and gesturing them inside. The door closed and Paul turned towards them, narrowing his eyes, studying them both.
“Is this about the fire?” Paul asked before Henry punched the weasel right in the diaphragm, forcing him to gasp for air. The look of shock on his face as he bent forwards was priceless.
“What the fuck, Henry!?” Paul managed to choke out after a minute between gasps.
“Relax, I didn’t do any permanent damage, yet.” Henry said, Paul for just a second showed actual fear in his eyes before he sneered in defiance. “Oh? That got your attention, did it? Why were you spying on me?” Henry growled.
Paul closed his eyes, dropped his head, and began to laugh before Henry grabbed him by the throat and slammed him into the wall. Foolishly, Paul even then kept laughing amidst the gasping. So Henry squeezed until Paul started slapping his arm, looking genuine fear once more growing across his face.
“Orders… I was following orders!” Paul managed to say amidst gasps and coughs.
“I thought it might be something like that. You're going to open up those files, now, and you're going to show me everything.” Henry said, dropping him to his feet at last.
“Fucking hell, Henry, I thought you of all people would have anticipated this was going to be the case. Do you think the people who made this all possible would simply let you fly around the most dangerous, advanced warship in human history without some insurance?”
“Don’t try and weasel out of your own personal culpability here. You may also want to think back to other people who were “only following orders” while performing acts they knew were wrong before you wave that line around like some get out of jail free card.” The fact that he had nothing to say spoke volumes.
“You should have told me Paul.” Henry growled.
“That defeats the purpose! Plus, your girlfriend sabotaged them all before we ever left S33 anyway, and once more after! That type of tech doesn’t just grow on trees you know, and I don’t have an unlimited supply. You should be thanking me for covering for her and reporting back like things are normal!” Paul shouted in indignation.
“This is pointless, show me the files from around fifteen minutes ago, motion trackers, thermals, anything you have that's not blocked or sabotaged.” Henry commanded. Paul’s eyes narrowed, but after a long moment he huffed and closed his eyes. Paul then sat down at his station and fired it up.
“Like I said, I've got practically nothing. No video, muffled audio and readings from what I assume to be a faulty motion sensor, that’s it. What are we looking for?”
“Chantal and I were, well, together. After we got out of the shower we saw that someone had written turn back in the condensation on the bathroom mirror. Only problem? My door auto locks when closed and only opens for my biometrics. That is why all of this even came up in the first place.”
“Motherfucker. That's a whole heap of bad news.” Paul said. Henry merely nodded, paying rather more attention to the screen to see if he could catch Paul in a lie about the extent of the spying.
“There’s nothing. No disturbances in the air that would even remotely resemble human movement between you two getting in the shower and you charging into your bedroom. With the noise of the shower and the distance to the microphone, there is nothing I can discern that is anomalous. You can see it all right here for yourself.”
Henry found himself even more confused and alarmed than before.
“How is that possible? Look again, run through some filters or something. There must be some evidence somewhere!”
“Alright, relax, I will get to work on this and get you a report by the end of C shift. In the meantime, you look like a mess. Get some sleep man! I can take care of it from here. Oh, and I want you to remember that I forgave you quite magnanimously for that little episode back there where you attacked me.” Henry and Chantal gave each other a look as Paul spoke.
“Wasn’t gonna apologize anyway, you had it coming. I’m going to hit the rack. I expect that report to be detailed and ready when I get up.” Henry took Chantal by the hand, and they left together, not waiting for a response.
“What a snake. Did you see him in there? Zero guilt or recognition whatsoever about spying like that. It just makes my skin crawl. Gives me bad memories.” Chantal said, turning pensive and quiet.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Henry asked, seeing that there was something clearly bothering her.
“I… had an uncle that lived with us from time to time and he would spy on me when I was dressing, try and sneak looks in the shower, stuff like that. Never touched me or anyone else that I know of, thank god, but man did it screw me up a bit still. Played havoc with my sense of security and even my sanity, never being quite sure it was real. I wish I had said something, but I was afraid everyone would think I was overreacting or imagining it. I saw it in his eyes though, that look of... predatory lust. At least I didn't see anything like that in Paul's eyes. To this day it makes my skin crawl.”
“Good God, I can see how alone you must have felt in the middle of all that.” He squeezed her hand, she smiled up at him.
“Yeah, that was one of the hardest parts. I don’t think Paul is some raging pervert or anything, but it concerns me how normal it was to him. Even if he isn’t being a creep with it, as if we can take his claims to be covering for me at face value. There is still no way I am going to let him have easy access to intimate videos of us, if I can possibly help it.” Chantal said before adding, “I’ll be all right, don’t worry about me. Let’s just get some sleep.”
Henry put his palm against the biometric scanner outside his room and the door slid open for them. They definitely needed some sleep after the emotional roller coaster of the past few hours, and the irresistible warm embrace of his bed called for him. The Q-Comm report could wait until he woke, he decided. Better to have the electrical inspection done too.

Good enough. Henry thought as he sent the message. Now he could sleep. The chief would handle it.

Sarah’s haunted thoughts repeated like a mantra. She had to be ready, but how? Her skin crawled and itched, the long sleeves of her BDU’s prevented her from being able to do anything about the painful sensation from the inflamed scratches they hid. She blearily rubbed at her sunken eyes, and she drained the rest of her coffee. All the numbers on the screen had started bleeding in together and her eyes hurt horribly, with the throbbing pain in her abdomen only compounding her misery.
“My god, Sarah, you look a wreck, hon. How have you been sleeping?” Yvonne, her shift partner asked, with concern in her voice.
“I have a monster tension headache, if the meds are going to kick in, I hope it’s soon. Can you check my math? I need to get out of these white lights for a few minutes. Close my eyes for a bit, something, anything. I've been having nightmares again.” Sarah felt good, being able to admit it, and Yvonne had long since proven her friendship, so it was easier to actually speak.
“Yeah, no prob. As soon as I am done here I will check your readings and we can get out of here. Do you mean nightmares from the invasion?” Yvonne asked, carefully picking her words and tone.
“Kind of the same general themes, but different. Everything is going wrong, like the worst possible outcomes of my worst nightmares are all combining together. Like, it feels malicious, I don't know, its hard to explain...” Sarah said, bleakly.
“That’s hard, I am sorry. You need a shower, and an uninterrupted nap. Sleep deprivation plays all kinds of hell on the body and mind. I had a friend who went through an insomniac phase so extreme he would go days without sleeping. Wound up in the hospital after trying to drive to work while hallucinating his dead fiancée was sitting in the passenger seat screaming at him to watch out. Wound up rear-ending the car in front of him. Thank God he lived to tell the tale, but that is why it worries me to see you like this.” Yvonne planted her hand on Sarah’s shoulder as she told the story.
“Yikes, I think I slept like two hours into my sleep shift before I started having the nightmares again, woke up, and passed in and out of some restless sleep. It got really bad around oh three hundred. There were sounds... noises like scratching and a loud bang, and the shadows were moving. I just kept feeling like I was being watched, but everyone else seemed to be having disturbed sleep in their bunks. God, it was a creepy feeling.” Sarah took a moment to compose herself.
“I know how crazy this will sound, maybe that I am sleep deprived and likely hallucinating like your friend, but just hear me out. There was something there Yvonne, in the dark at the edge of perception, I could feel it. I also know I wasn’t the only one tossing and turning either. I could also hear scratchy whispering, too. I just hid, strapped in under the weighted blanket. At some point I slept some more, I must have, but not for what felt like a few stressful and draining hours. I'm just making a total mess of explaining this, aren’t I?”
“No, you're fine, girl! I am sorry that happened, my dorm has been pretty quiet, but I have always slept like a rock. Is there anything I can do?”
“I could use a hug.” Sarah said, which caused Yvonne to laugh, breaking some of the tension. They embraced warmly for a good minute, which did wonders for relieving some of the headache and her black mood.
“Thanks, Yvonne, I know it’s all in my head and it’s a vicious feedback cycle due to lack of quality sleep. Thanks for listening without calling me crazy.“ Sarah said, shying away from the last thing she hadn’t the courage to say.
She didn’t dare mention how she had hidden under the covers as she felt it get near. How she had felt something pushing on the mattress. How as her fear peaked, she herself peeked over the covers to find nothing there just to have the oppressive feeling evaporate along with the sensation of pressure by her feet. Her dorm mates all seemed to stop stirring after that, and only then did the nightmares stop for her that night. By then she was left with barely enough time for one last short sleep cycle before the start of A shift that very morning. This was a secret she would have to keep to herself, nobody would believe her anyway.
“I think I'll ask the Chief for a break from my duties today to rest and to visit med bay. Maybe they can give me something to help catch back up on my sleep.” Sarah said.
“Good idea, can I come with? I’ll back you up.” Yvonne said. Sarah smiled at her friend before she nodded at her before they checked off the last of their duties on site and headed away to find the Chief.

So i know its been a dramatic past 2 weeks with the Sony drama and reduced player numbers due to the banned countries as well as general low player count and I've seen on multiple platforms people pulling up these reasons for failing the last order as well as likely failing this one.
While i don't intend to invalidate any of those reasons can we please stop ignoring the fact that the community or most players don't approach the major orders properly or just out right ignore them. Its a team effort to get these orders done and to be honest for the past 4 orders i haven't seen much of a team much less team work.
What do i mean by this well lets look back to when the automatons came back and we had to defend 10 planets. The devs straight up said if we cut supply lines on planets with defense mission and let them know they will automatically count that planet as defended. No one bothered looking at supply lines or tried playing it smartly, correction actually very few people did and some of them got shit for not defending the planet that was being attacked. Which is hilarious cause retaking the planets that cut off the supply line to the planet you had to defend had more liberation progress and a lower depletion rate meaning it would have been straight up more efficient to do that. This current order is also a good example the best missions to do would be the eradicate and defense missions, we could so easily cycle those as operation completion doesn't matter to this major order. Yet i see divers all over the place doing various drawn out missions getting fewer kills than they would on eradicate missions. So that's what i mean by don't approach the orders properly.
What do i mean by straight up ignore the order. That's simple the amount of time I've joined people and see them abandon operations to do another mission cause its faster or due to their daily or after they get their daily just log off and leave the operation unfished therefore not contributing as much or at all to the liberation level or a planet is insane. over the past 3 days alone i think that I've complete at most 3 operations when joining lobbies even though in those lobbies we finished 5-7 missions. People just drop operations so therefore basically ignoring the order. Even simpler is seeing 15- 20k players on the other side of what ever the major orders states. The amount of times I've seen people on bot planets when we have bug orders and the other way around is literally always its not times I've seen it as its a constant and its not a small number either most of the time (least I've seen)15- 25%(most I've seen) of the active players are just not doing the order.
My last point with there not being much of a team or team work ties into what I've already said but i feel this also has to be mentioned even if we don't want to acknowledge it. Toxicity has started to creep into our community both in and out off the game. The amount of times I've randomly been kicked from a lobby for no given reason has increased massively over the past 3 weeks. The amount of times I've seen other divers be kicked from a team for a genuine mistake has also risen as well as the general moaning and bitching towards one another and the game. I get it the game can be frustrating sometimes I'm not immune to that either but i don't take it out on my fellow divers if someone gets on my nerves i let them know politely that after killing me 5 times its getting a bit on my nerves but i don't blast them for it. Also there's an easy solution for when the game starts to be more frustrating and less fun. You can leave the mission without cancelling it for everyone else I'm not going to mockingly say go touch grass but leave the mission go smoke a cig, get a beer, watch an episode of your favorite anime or series, maybe even go have some fun with your S.O partner fuck buddy friends with benefits whatever. Call your best friend go de tilt for 30 minutes and then jump back in. Its a game let it be fun and if it frustrates take a quick breather no one going to be mad at you for that. So in that sense I've seen teamplay and general moral take a big hit.
Now to probably the most controversial part of this post. Where ive seen us be a team is in the fight against sony and hell yea well done everyone on that front but the amount of fighting and provoking the devs needs to stop. I have nothing against a discussion and sure the devs and community managers make some pretty big mistakes in their replies but we don't need to edge them on and throw gasoline onto the fire. Yes they fucked up, yes they didn't respond professionally with everything, yes the last war bond is Hella lackluster, yes we have bugs that are extremly annoying. You want to know something else this game has that very few others have A DEV TEAM THAT ACTUALLY GIVES A DAMN. Arrowhead isnt a massive studio and they have been overwhelmed since the get go and then with the sony drama i can understand that all of them are beyond on edge. All I've seen our community do is push for more, bitch some more, provoke even more. I'm not saying that's its the entire community and that feed back is bad. However you can also be decent and professional when giving it. That's what i mean about being toxic as a community out of the game. The devs aren't perfect but they care and are trying. How many other games have this and if we keep being rude mean and toxic to them we cant blame them when they eventually stop caring like most other companies do and then just stop communicating and fighting for us or wanting to make an amazing game. These guys are amazingly passionate however that can be put out and we will be the one responsible for this.
Now this is my opinion and how i see things that doesn't mean I'm right or that this is the end all be all or that i think I'm better than anyone. This is an opinion and id love to hear all of yours.
Also don't get me wrong this isn't a call out or start drama or even to divide the community. When it comes to how you play the game to each their own and play how you want but then don't bitch if we fail an order. At the end of the day we win as a team or we loose as one the only way to be better or get better is to work together. Also its a game its meant to be fun so have your fun but don't get mad if having your fun = not winning the major order.

-Speech only to be trained with bribes where applicable since I won't really even need coin for much else, then when I am out of speech options I will use the winterhold tavern exploit to 100
-I am trying to keep my stealing and pickpocketing items count on 0 for now
So far with the prison exploit I am trying to find and wear as much armour that's available in the game as possible and with the use of the steed stone it doesn't even weigh anything. My carry capacity is over 1800 and my armour rating is over 4000. Funnily enough even with that much armour I still die sometimes. It's been fun so far.

I’ve been averaging out around 80+ followers per day steadily now for the past 7 days. I am a small account trying to grow, and since surpassing the 1000 follower mark it has been amazing how much it’s been growing daily. I’m a small fish in a big pond, but what’s happening is highly irregular for me.
In the early hours of 14th May, I had one video gain 30,000+ views. Astonishing for me, and I can only assume it was reposted by someone of influence. However, the high did not last long! Throughout the entirety of yesterday (14th) I had zero new followers. Not unusual per se, but fairly unusual for my account since it’s been performing incredibly well. So to not even garner one follower seemed a little .. odd.
My first concern was shadow ban, due to the one video gaining much larger momentum than any others. So I tried posting, which was fine, and appeared on the fyp. Left it a few hours hours, tried again - and again this video appeared in the fyp feed. My analytics on both videos show 90+% engagement from for you, so I assume I’m not shadow banned. Thank god - I was honestly really worried!!

No new follower notifications. It’s as if TikTok just didn’t acknowledge them. Puzzling, and by now I’m just ready to stab TikTok in the eye with a rusty spoon (if TikTok were a person) out of sheer frustration. Arrgh!!
I have uninstalled, reinstalled. Cleared the cache. Both of these more than once. No avail. Checked on app using mobile data, WiFi, and on a browser. No avail. Checked on a pc browser. STILL NO AVAIL. Where’s that goddamn spoon!
So here we are. It’s the morning of the 15th, and still no movement. It’s no biggie in the grand scheme of things, but for my account it is unusual. Suspicious, even. Ok, so maybe I’m being a little dramatic. But I’m not happy.
I’ve tried making a report via TikTok but it just tells me to do what I’ve already done. I found an email to report issues but it bounced back saying it was no longer in use.
I hate seeing my lovely little account that was happily growing, sitting stagnant. I am at the point where I will happily delete the video with the huge view count if that is the problem.

our house is located in a mountain and we are surrounded by trees. yesterday, my mother went to the mango tree near our house to pick ripe mangoes that have fallen and saw two dead crows. we know these crows because we've seen them roam around and it seems they live through the nearby trees. after my mother saw that she asked my father to bury their dead bodies and my father thinks that these crows have died for a long time now because they smell really bad. after learning that i wondered what will happen to the remaining crow because it's friends are gone now. this crow's alone now.
today, we went to the mango tree again to pick ripe mangoes and saw another two dead crows (earlier morning and now 5 PM) and now there's other crows cawing in the trees. they're like ~6 now. i can't count them exactly because some are flying around. i don't know what happened to that one crow yesterday. i'm just wondering why crows are keep on dying here. we thought the two dead crows my parents saw yesterday fought over ripe mangoes but it seems that's not the case because another two dead crows are dead! and more crows are around our area now. why this is happening?

Hey everyone, this post is long, so only read it if you want to, I just kind of want to put my own thoughts out there as a long time Addams fan who is also a fan of ‘Wednesday’ and why I feel that way. I apologize in advance for the long post.
So I’ve always been a big Addams Family fan, I have the 1964 sitcom series on dvd, a bootleg dvd of the 1998 “The New Addams Family” series, and the 90’s movies with Christina Ricci on Blu-Ray.
When ‘Wednesday’ came out on Netflix, I hadn’t actually watched any of the previous stuff in awhile, it was just sitting on the shelf. I loved the first season of Wednesday and it drove me to do a refresher, so I recently just got finished doing a binge of my entire Addams collection. Recently just finished my re-Watch of ‘Wednesday’ season 1, to see if the knowledge of all the previous Addams stuff fresh in my head would make me hate the new show and I confess…it doesn’t.
Sure it’s different, but why can’t it be seen as an alternate universe take on the brand rather than comparing it to everything that came before? Why can’t it be appreciated as its own separate standalone Addams thing? I fully believe you can be a long time fan of everything from the 1960’s to to 90’s and still be a fan of ‘Wednesday’. I don’t believe that it has to be one or the other. I still like the show after the re-watch binge of everything and yes, I confess I’m absolutely hyped for season 2.
What I’m going to say next may sound crazy, but it’s just personally how I feel. I feel that a different take on the Addams universe that was a bit more serious, and darker, with more drama like this, was a good idea, a good experiment at trying something new, rather than making another completely family friendly comedy focused kind of adaptation.
Everything that came before is still there and it isn’t ruined by the existence of ‘Wednesday’, I believe ‘Wednesday’ can exist in co-existence with everything else, and be seen as, like I said, a kind of alternate universe Addams story.
I’ve seen Wednesday compared to Riverdale and considering I watched Riverdale beginning to end, I’d say Wednesday at the very least is a masterpiece of a show compared to the slop that “Rivershit” was. However I’m aware that when it comes to “Rivershit”, there is no bar to get over, the bar is laying on the ground actually.
Why did I watch the entire series of “Rivershit”? I definitely feel the need to defend myself here lol. Make no mistake, quality wise it’s one of the worst shows ever made, even by CW standards, though the first few seasons were “ok” at best. I watched it because as someone who is 35, and an Archie fan who grew up with tons of Archie comics as a child, I couldn’t help but be drawn to it, for nostalgia, and then I stuck with it as a guilty pleasure entertainment, laughing at how it was so bad it was good from beginning to end. If there’s anything positive about “Rivershit” to say, is it’s so unbelievably and terribly bad that it’s hilariously entertaining which also makes it good.
‘Wednesday’ at the very least, is a masterpiece compared to whatever “Rivershit” was trying to be. I’d even argue that ‘Wednesday’ is still a higher quality show than most of the CW stuff it gets compared to. I feel that ‘Wednesday’ at least tries to put a genuine effort in to be a good show and tell a solid story and I got invested in her and Enid’s dynamic and growing friendship (that Wednesday would never admit to).
Make no mistake though, Wednesday isn’t perfect by any means, and I know that it’s easy to get over the bar that’s “Rivershit” when the bar is laying on the ground and can be just stepped over, but while ‘Wednesday’ may be imperfect, I don’t think it’s a garbage or trash show by any means.
I’m aware I’ll probably get a lot of downvotes for this, but I just wanted to give my personal take on this. You don’t have to agree but I still ask for kindness or civil responses. We’re all real people behind these keyboards, and all of your opinions count regardless if you don’t agree with me and all of your opinions are absolutely valid opinions worth discussing. We all have different things we enjoy and that’s ok. I absolutely respect all of your opinions.

So here's how I want to make hordes, illustrated on Goblins.
Let's say I have an army of 120 Goblins. Each tile can fit up to 5 Goblins, so they count as 2 Gargantuan creatures, each with a single stat block, speed, hit points, etc. When the horde moves, is subjected to any kind of spells or Saving Throws, it has a single Saving Throw and is immune to any conditions originating from a spell not targeting multiple creatures. (Alternatively, the player may use things such as Hold Person to stunn a single Goblin). Finally, any damage the horde takes is divided by 7 and this many Goblins dies from every attack. (More on that later.) As this is supposed to be a horde of considerably weaker enemies, you can forgo the damage which do not kill a single Goblin. This includes spells like Fireball, as Goblins are packed so densly fire and blast can only reach ever so many of them. (Which is what happens in real life too.)
When Goblins reach their target, they can share their tile with it and scatter into a shape other than Gargantuan creature, but always with 5 Goblins on each tile, unless there's not enough Goblins left. Whenever Goblins attack, the GM first rolls for the attack (1d20 + a single Goblin attack bonus (4) + number of Goblins on a tile (5)), then, if hit, he rolls 1d6 to determine how many Goblins hit (here, 3) then he rolls for damage (Xd6 (3d6) + a single Goblin damage bonus times the number of Goblins (here, 6). If the GM rolls 6 or other number higher than the number of Goblins on this tile, all Goblins on the tile attack. For simplicity, the GM may decide to attack from more than one tile at once (he then multiplies the 1d6 roll by the number of tiles)
Any Martial characters can use Swiping Damage, killing multiple Goblins per turn, same as in the Fireball example.
Optionally, the GM may decide Goblins or other creatures are not disciplined enough to attack all at once. Then, he may halven the roll from 1d6 to minimise the damage delt.

Anyway, working on this gave me theories about why Vivian left (and was so freaked out about getting pregnant). Only one person in each generation from Enoch onward has children. All extra siblings in a generation end up dead (or "dead" in Teddy's case).
So, Vivian gets pregnant. I wonder if she was worried about getting tagged as Scarlet Obligated to Carry on the Family Line or about being an "extra" Scarlet (especially considering her own mother's very suspicious death in childbirth). In either case, she clearly decided to run away and who could blame her?

My husband (42) and I (40) have been married for 25 years. We have had a rocky marriage from the beginning. He is a workaholic and emotionally and verbally abusive. Over the past year he definatly has been trying, with some big slip ups but no one is perfect. My husband can be very passive aggressive and makes people "pay" if they piss them off by damaging property or withdrawing "favors" that he does for people. He has done it to me throughout the marriage for petty things, so when this incident happened it really triggered me and once again - he won. We have several pets, one of which is a cat. The cat is a real sweetheart but she tries to wake everyone up at 4am (when he leaves for work). So what I end up doing is waking up after my husband leaves and I put her in the guest bedroom for an hour so we can sleep until 5am. He saw me doing it one morning and said "I'll do that for you so you don't have to get up and you can sleep the extra hour". I told him that no it's ok, I'll do it and he insisted on doing that for me, so I relented. The other day, my son came home with his laundry (his washer is broken) and did his wash. He was exhausted from school and work/job and couldn't finish all his wash at once at it was late, so I offered to do it for him and he could pick it up later in the week.
I was speaking to my husband over the phone and mentioned that I did our son's wash for him, because he was tired, etc. I no longer do my husband's wash (as of 2 years ago) because I was being taken advantage of by him never being home, verbally abusive and he expected me to do everything for him, yet it was a one way street. I had a job, pets and when my son was younger, I was basically a single parent, Well, when I mentioned that I did my son's laundry and there was a pause on the phone and he was like "oh ok".
When the conversation was over, I said to myself, "I bet tomorrow morning, he won't bring the cat in the other room for me." I was right. Yesterday, he claimed that the he didn't see the cat when he got up, so this morning I saw that he literally walked right past him and left for work. I got out of bed and said, "you forgot to put the cat in the other room." and he was like "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm tired and I forgot." I told him that I saw you look at him and walk right by him. He kept saying he forgot, because he was tired. I called him on the way to work and told him "this is why I do everything by myself, because I can never depend on you for anything." He was like I can't believe you called me over this. I believe he did this on purpose, because he was angry that I did my son's laundry, yet I never do his any longer. Which is petty, but that's him. He has done things like this to his coworkers, bosses, and to me, etc.
tl;dr- I do feel bad for calling him and telling him that I can't count on him and that he INSISTED to help out with the cat, and then used it as a passive aggressive move, because he was mad about me doing my son's laundry but no longer do his. I believe he stopped helping out with our cat on purpose to prove a point, since he's had a history of this behavior before. I feel, I fell for it once again, and he got the reaction he wanted. Any advice would be appreciated.
