I saw that for OPRE 3310, Calc 1 was a pre req to this class. I took Business calc 1 at Collin College Spring 2023 and barley passed that class (I suck at math). My concern is how much math is OPRE 3310 gonna use and is any of it calc related? I took OPRE 3360 which required calc, however at least in my class (my prof was Anyan Qi) we did practically no calculus and all the math was either simple multiplication/addition etc in a calculator, or functions in excel.
I heard that OPRE 3360 was more math heavy and harder then OPRE 3310 and I got an A- in 3360, should I be worried if I pretty much don't remember anything from Calc 1 for OPRE 3310?
Edit: I technically had an A in Calc 1, however I already had gotten my acceptance to UTD so I was told I just needed a C- for that course, so I straight up didnt show up for the final exam and my grade dropped from a 92 to a 75 and I still got the credit as if I gotten a A in the class.

So I plan to take my CFA level 3 this august but it seems that I am way over my head since I only started really studying last week.
I passed level 1 and level 2 in uni so I had plenty of flexibility on studying. But now I have a demanding job which greatly limits my ability to find time to study (so I have greatly Misjudged the time requirement to study and works). I have also asked my chairman for some stubstancial time off before my exam.
I believe I can pass but it would require me to only study and work for 14 hours a day every day until my exam.
Even if I do pass I can’t get my carter until December 2025, bc of the work requirements. I also don’t want to do the practical skills modual or choose between 3 probably vastly inferior pathways.

tl;dr of my question - Is it possible to increase my analytical reasoning (logic games score) dramatically in 2 weeks?
Situation/question details -

1. Why do I want to do this?: I'm on the waitlist for a law school I really want. I'm aware that chances are slim that I'll still be on the waitlist by the time I get my June LSAT score release, in late June. But my logic is that it doesn't hurt to try.
2. My performance/skill level: I have very little experience preparing for the LSAT exam. I started studying for it around 2 weeks ago. I scored 163 on a practice test today. My goal is a 171 (which I know is a huge increase to achieve in 2 weeks). The reason I believe this may be possible is because I have huge room for improvement in the logic games section. I'm getting about half the questions wrong in this section. Getting almost all questions right in logical reasoning; getting around 7 questions wrong in reading out of 27. Thus, I should also aim to increase my reading score by around 4 additional correct questions.
3. Logistical/financial circumstances: I've registered for the June LSAT on a fee waiver. I can cancel free of charge up until the test date. So right now, I'm debating on whether I should invest my energy and time on grinding on logic games and a bit on reading for the next 2 weeks to try to pull a 171.
4. Last factor of consideration: Logic games will be gone after June. So maybe I shouldn't waste my time on logic games and just go for the October LSAT, since my logical reasoning and reading comprehension scores are significantly stronger.

2024tard here, a dropper. As per the past convention everyone takes Physical education as their 5th subject. A very sincere advice to all of the juniors, please consider taking IP(informatics practices) as your 5th subject. It is easy as hell and you won't even need to study for it as much throughhout the year. considering my case,
I had my maths exam on 11th march 2023 and IP exam on 23 march 2023. Between the gap was the first time I picked up the book of IP and managed to get 97/100 in it (3 marks I made a fucking small silly mistake in a question).
It is easy as hell and also doable. If any computer enthusiasts here, you know most of the stuff taught in this subject. Only thing you would have to learn and practice a little bit is the data analysis libraries and DBMS Commands, if you only mug up the things it would ensure 90+ marks in the exam.

After I got part of my ideal scores in IELTS exam, I decided to accompany other candidates to practice their speaking and other skills(of course, I charge for a little bit). Yesterday, I finally had some courage and posted a notice on a social media platform. Because of my self-doubt, introversion and perhaps, the imposter syndrome, I set a very low price for my service, slightly over 2 dollars per hour. Then I embarked on this journey from last night, which makes me a little regret, because the level of my first student is lower B1 but she needs a band 6(equals B2 level) in less one month... She can only organize very simple sentences with several basic grammar errors. For example, she said "she name is blabla...","She like play..."something like that. Not to mention that she shows almost no interest in immersing herself in an artificial English environment. Talking bilingually for around 4 hours, I woke up this morning and felt extremely exhausted. Taking my salary into consideration, I wanna quit...

So I have been interested in LOA, manifestations for many years, to change my life completely. I thought its magical that how people are getting their desires by techniques and stuff. i always believe anything is possible. searched about it, every techniques, subliminal, meditation(everyday for 6 months i tried.) and what not but after years of practicing. i haven't reached anywhere. i have heard/read at multiple occasions that at max it take few months to get your desires in reality. I am in this for more than 3 years now. and even after all the failures I still believe i can turn it around, i am trying to locate my issue. And i don't know but i have noticed a pattern of sort i guess it is that i easily get bored of these techniques. for few days i listen subliminals and then after some time I'll get bore, feeling of tiredness start to surround me and i stop doing it. but again after few days I'll try something else in hope of that this time I'll persist, that I'll get it. like affirmations, I'll write them, will try to read them by making a time frame, but in few days my urge to do this is gone. I feel weirdly numb, boring. i make Pinterest vision boards, would decide to see them before sleeping but again after some days it feel like a chore that i have no interest in. has happened multiple times sometimes because the exact opposite of desires happen like couldn't clear a exam, i want to clear with a high rank(I stopped meditation completely after this, was devasted) etc. but most of the time, i don't know why my urge dies. same with self concept I feel tired of repeating stuff in my mind, and then i am unable to do any efforts, but then I bounce back to manifesting, finding something, getting tired of it, cycle repeats.
everyone says persistence is very important. keep persisting etc. but I can't somehow. how do i resolve this. i tried reading books but they to bore me death, once i even started to take notes but i couldn't finish book. but then again i believe this is possible that when people says they changed overnight it is possible. and I always comeback at this, because anything is possible. Hello. I've just graduated with a degree in computer science, and I've already had a lot of job offers, all as a junior software developer, however one particular company has offered me a role as an aspiring cloud solution architect (to back up the three already present roles). Reading through a few threads on reddit I bought that it's usually a mid-high level role and that it's unlikely to come easily, and if it does you always need a lot of practice. Now here comes my question, knowing this and that as a person I'm pretty geeky (Linux, programming, etc..) would you advise me to take the opportunity? If so what can I expect? My fear is that I will find the work a bit boring and too high-level, lots of drawings and little time on the terminal.
PS. I already got my hands on the cloud at university (a "hands on aws" exam) where we only did the design and not the actual deployment (although I wrote the terraform code on my own)

Im very sorry if what im asking isn't relevant to the subreddit. But I don't have any other place to discuss this with. To make a long story short,im an intermediate level pianist and I'm currently trying to pass my university exams to become a music major. I live in Greece so the examination process is a bit different than other countries (we need to be examined in voice leading,melodic and rhythmic dictee,analysis, chords and intervals in order to pass along with some other general subjects like language) and it has taken a toll on me lately.
I've loved music since I was a child.I know im being quite dramatic by saying this but it really is the first thing I think about in the morning and the last when I go to sleep.Listening to music, discussing it, performing it, it really all makes me so happy and I feel so fortunate and lucky to be able to pursue it.
That being said, I doubt if I will ever be good enough. It's hard to not compare myself when it all seems to come so easy to other students.Im not a talented person- everything I've built so far is thanks to my countless of hours of practicing.I can't help but wonder if my love for music is enough.Maybe if I was talented, things would be better and I wouldn't need to doubt myself so much.

I have a quick question.
As of a few days (really recent) I have suddenly made a turn around in my life, changed my environment into one thats full of islamic stuff and quit bad habits (like reading not so good stuff, listening to haram stuff including music and wasting my time on just useless things) cold turkey.
Alhamdulilah this is all due to allah's guidance.
Though, now I have a nagging issue.

The rules are a bit wonky, so I'll try to explain it in a non personal matter.
After highschool I will be going community college (its really oversimplified but eh, If I get to avoid having my post deleted then so be it)
Which isn't a issue in itself, though what is the issue is that the degree I've chosen may not be good for me.
I chose it before I was practicing because I was lazy and I didn't want the horror of working hospital shifts for like the next 30 years of my life. Which I now really do want.
I lied and cheated my way out of getting into a good school. I could blame it on shaytans whispers but it's all my own fault and I feel bad about it every single day
But now I regret it.
Since this job is in the ICT and school I go to is prominently only boys. I'm just in simple terms really screwed.
While I can reverse the choice by simply continuing my schooling (which has HARSH conditions like graduating in 7 subjects instead of 6.) And I am currently in my exam year.
(Yes I have made dua to inshallah pass these exams and get to continue my schooling)
My question is.
Say I don't exactly get to continue my schooling and I am left with no choice but to go and do this degree.
Will I be sinful?
Since I'd have to do it for two years minimum before being able to stop.
I don't to do anything that will make allah displeased with me and I most certainly don't want to rack up bad deeds for something I voluntarily chose.
I believe that unnecessary mixing with non mahrams is a bad thing. If i do this degree I'd have to work with, interact with men daily.

i gave cbse improvement this year but didnt qualify 75% criteria due to some personal reasons and would like to try again next year from hsc board to clear top 20 percentile criteria for mains
should i join some integrated college in 12th directly or give exam as a private candidate
