Within 5 minutes to 10 minutes, a woman nicknamed Yomi from Japan messaged me; this should have been a red flag for me. We talked for a while. She said she was interested in me. She asked me if I could move over to the dating site JPNDate because she paid for membership there and not Japan Cupid. She also promised to delete her account on Japan Cupid after we changed sites. She does delete her account off Japan Cupid. Unlike a normal scam artist, who may only have 1 or 2 photos, she has several photos on her profile. My trust in her grows a bit seeing that. She then privately messaged me several more photos of her. She asked me for some photos, which I sent. She then sends back happy and heartfelt emojis. She told me she doesnāt date Asian men anymore because they were violent to her in the past and her last boyfriend cheated on her. She talked about how she didnāt want to fight with me. She also said we could talk about any topic. She would compliment me often, as I did for her. Of course, on my profile page, I try to post my best pictures. Throughout my life, I have had many different hairstyles. She even mentioned this and got very happy and asked if I was a hairstylist. The spam of talking between us was from January 20th, 2024, to March 24th, 2024. On JPNDate, there is an upgrade system. You need Blue Diamond to chat with others. Crown to send videos. Blue Diamond is 20 dollars per month, and Crown is 80 dollars per month. I got the Blue Diamond membership at first. It showed her with it too. After a day or two, she asked me to upgrade like she did to the Crown membership so she could send me a video. I upgraded it, and she did actually send me a video. All pictures and the video match the same person and the same face. Some pictures were in different locations, and some were like three different pictures in the same place. We then later buy a 6-month Crown membership for each other because it is cheaper than 1 month at a time. I bought it for her, and she bought it for me. At this point, I start to believe. This person was giving me all their time. They reply very often, and their texting time was the same as Japan timezones every single day. They spoke not only English but also Japanese almost fluently. However, they did let me know that they're still learning English and sometimes use a translator. She let me know that this website has something called a mall. This should have been red flag number 2. You pay 1 American dollar for each gold point. Paypal is the only thing that works. When we started dating, she said it was normal for couples in Japan to send each other gifts. It was a symbol of forever love in Japan, she claimed. As an American, I didnāt know if this was true. I googled it and couldnāt get a clear answer. She said whatever I bought her, she would buy me as well. She asked if I liked necklaces or charms. I said anything was fine. She wanted me to pick up a necklace. At first, she picked up a $1,000 necklace from the site mall and asked me. I said no; that's way too much money for that. She said how about a 300-dollar Jade Romance charm. She told me to get her white one; she would get me the green one. I questioned if she was legit. She started crying. She somehow convinced me at the time that she was legit again. I did buy it. A few weeks later, I did receive the overpriced Green Jade Romance love charm to my address from her. I never told her which day exactly my tracking information said it would come to my house, but I asked her, and her tracking date was the same week as mine. By the way something almost the same as this necklace is 12 dollars on Amazon. It also broke when I got it in the mail. Probably cost them 2 cent to make. For the next few days, we had a wonderful, happy conversation. It is late January, and I know Valentine's Day is coming. I offered to get her flowers. I got her flowers and chocolate at a very high price of multiple hundred dollars. She then gets so happy. She told me many times how she wanted to go to America and find me. We talked about many topics for several more days. She told me she worked in an office in Tokyo. Yomi told me her real name was Miyuki Miyamoto. Which is very funny because I told her before I was a Nintendo fan, and this is the same last name as Mario and Zelda Creator. She also said she had her apartment to herself, which is true; she does own an apartment. She talked about how life is stressful right now in Japan. She claimed to have grown up in the Japanese town of Nagano, Japan. She also said she had gone to a university in Tokyo with a major in computer science. She wanted to visit America in July for 15 days when she had her time off. July is a normal time for people to get off in Japan for vacation, so I thought nothing of it. I told her that I was from a smaller town in California, but I lived not far from San Francisco. I told her how my town is quiet and how I could see mountains outside my house. She said she wanted a peaceful life and that life in Tokyo is too fast. And she always had great things to say about every picture I sent. We also talk about going on dates. I asked most of the questions, but she did ask me questions as well. I started to ask her a lot of questions about Japan. Like if she visited Himeji Castle, she said no. However, I did say yes to visiting Mount Fuji. I should have asked for a photo of this, but I didnāt. She was very happy; she told me very many topics about Japan. We even briefly talked about anime. She told me she liked Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Detective Conan. This information is important later. We also talked about how both of us were big Disney fans growing up. One day she told me, how work was busy today. I told her it was okay and we didnāt need to talk today. She did, however, still text me a little bit that day. This was the only day during our whole time talking when she was super busy. There is nothing wrong with this; all humans get busy. I decided to spend my evening drawing a picture of me and Yomi on a date to surprise her. When I sent it to her, she did not react. This was a red flag for me. I tried to convince myself that she just didnāt like drawings that much. I know I sound really dumb right here, but whoever I was talking to is very smart and knows a lot of things. We started talking a few days later about the idea of meeting and going on dates together. I know that the yen is weak against the American dollar right now. I told them I would pay for anything they wanted when they were in America because I was in love. This was a big, big, big mistake. They then asked if I could give them 1500 dollars to buy a plane ticket. Never give money to people you never meet in real life, folks. Donāt be dumb like me. Turns out the ticket was actually 2100, so they asked for another 500 dollars the next day, claiming their friend let them borrow the money, and they paid the difference. They did show me a picture of a plane ticket. With the name Yomi and the correct airports in Tokyo and San Francisco. This gave me more trust in them; I got a lot of photos, videos, and even a picture of a plane ticket. At some point, I talked to them about social media. They claim to only have Skype and Line. I found it very hard to believe a woman in her 20s wasnāt on Instagram or Tik Tok. I went on Instagram and typed Yomi, and I found a Yomi who looked just like her. This made me think: why did she lie? What confused me is that all the pictures on her Instagram were different from the ones she sent me, other than one image that was the same. Meaning that the images were not clearly stolen from there. I looked up JPNDate online; there isnāt much info on this website (Right Now), other than one reddit forum from 1 year ago. Someone said something about being scammed by an IDOL on this site. They also said the website wasnāt in Japan but in China. I was wondering why I never saw new females joining the website; it was the same 23 pages worth of them. I wanted to test the website to see if it was legit. I made another account, a fake male account with AI artwork. It was approved in one second. I then made a fake female account; it said pending approval. It has now been 2 weeks since I made that account, and it still says pending approval. This means all the women on this website have to be fake actors. There is also a setting on JPNDate to see who has been online last or which accounts are the oldest. When I asked weeks before, Yomi claimed she had been on this website only for a short time. Her oldest picture was dated October 20, 2023. Yet she has the sixth-oldest account on JPNDate, according to the website. The reddit forum I talked about before was over a year old. When I was on this website for a month, at least 10 other women tried to text me. There was this one profile of a woman from Taiwan, age 20. She texted me three times in one month. When I joined, her age was listed as 20, and at some point, she changed her age to 25 on her profile. I ignored all these women. This proves again that all these women are fake. I do think they are women based on how they type, but they are not truthful like they act like they are. As I write this, I just realized this is Yomi's sister; it matches the other Yomi account's sister tag. I knew this website wasnāt telling the truth. I found the JPNDate IP address and tracked it to a server in Hong Kong, China, hosted by Alibaba cloud servers. Reddit was right; the website is Chinese. I took pictures of the website code just in case. I asked Yomi if she knew Alibaba. Then she asked if Iām going to Chinaāa very strange follow-up question. At this point, I was confused. Who is Yomi? I couldnāt find anything about Miyuki Miyamoto, only Yomi. On Yomi Instagram, she speaks Chinese, not Japanese. I started to think there are no Japanese women on this website like they claim to be. She does speak Japanese, though. I started using more than 10 different software programs to track who Yomi was. I found like 1000 pictures of an idol, WeChat model, singer, dancer, person on endless Chinese dating sites, and a valiant professional gamer part of the AIāU agency for over 8 years. I found two other Instagram accounts with Yomi's face. Another account in Chinese with an idol name other than Yomi also had a Facebook page. The Chinese account has a post about her going to Australia in early 2024, where she is typing in English words. I also found an account where she speaks only Korean on Instagram. I also found a tik-tok where someone dances and looks 100% the same as Yomi, to whom Iām talking. The part that is crazy is that none of the images are 100% the same, but the person is the same in all of them. This shocked me; I follow all the accounts. I saw the stories daily to see who this person was. Her Yomi account is just her normal pictures and atm company or something. Her Korean account is about traveling to Singapore, Spain, and South Korea. She also posts a lot about Disney toys here. When I talked to the scammer about Disney, I had no idea about this. At this point, I knew that many men had been scammed out of money for fake love, not just me. These women are real women. However, there are actors pretending to be in love. They will crush your heart and call you names after a few weeks if you donāt buy their stuff. It has to be from JPNdate Mall only, nowhere else. JPNdate Mall prices are crazy high. I am not sure if the point of the website is just for money or if it is actually for women to study English or what. Chinese women, pretending to be Japanese (most of them), that have connections to Korean music and gaming on professional teams. Man, what a hell of a story this is. This sounds like a Hollywood movie, but it's real, or at least partly. At this point, everything I say seems to be true based on what I know. Yomi told me early on that she had one older sister and one younger brother. It seems like she is actually a twin, and she is the younger sister. Yomi claims to be 25, but I think she is closer to 27 or 28 based on finding a listing of her work in 2015 at Twitch Gaming. You have to be 18 or older to work at Twitch gaming, unless your parents sign things. When I showed the pictures I found to Yomi on JPNdate, she played the victim card on me. Saying she thinks Iām a liar and she wants to break up. Then she gave me her Skype account to try to prove it was legit, and all the other images and accounts were stolen and fake. Her Skype name is Rose, with a One Piece picture. She sent me many voice clips, crying, trying to convince me that she was real. I put them in software, and the voice was 30% human, 70% AI. Clearly, a woman is changing her Chinese or Korean voice to sound Japanese. A PC gamer would know how to do this; they do it all the time to troll. Yomi told me she didnāt play video games anymore, but I found a picture that wasnāt that old of a woman who looked the same as her; she had a Nintendo Switch with a white OLED in it. Btw itās a known fact that Yomi uses software to cheat in the Pc FPS games. I canāt let Yomi, her sister, and her idol friends scam men for their time and money. Yomi Chiense's name is Vera Yuanxin (ē»“ę). Her twin sister goes by veravera_zhangg. Yomi ādeleted her profileā when I exposed her. But Yomi is still there with no pictures. Two they clearly have other accounts with people who look like she just changed hairstyle, talking and trying to scam other men. Remember when I said the anime part was important? On Yomi's Korean account, she has a friend with whom she talks about Digimon. She gave him a Disney toy. She told me she wanted to cosplay a fox; his profile is a fox. There is just so much proof that these are the same people. Later someone hit me up on Reddit from the Phillippines and told me how the same person Yomi scammed them. How for months Yomi promise them so many things. Then when they said it came to going on the plane to visit him they said they were sick or dying or something. Yomi also made a fake Instagram pretending to be Joe Biden and sent me a friend invite. I messaged and it was so funny how bad it was on their part. I said āYomi are you trolling me?ā then they deleted their account. This was on April 6th, 2024. The famous baseballer, Jackie Robinson, he once said: āA life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.ā I could not agree more. That is why I try to make as much impact on my facesā lives as possible. After all, they have done so much for me. It is the least I can do. Unlike them, I need not fear what people think of me. So I can be brave where they are weak. For I will just be someone else tomorrow.
He'd move to America and use his talents to pull off high-scale burglary, working for any group that could afford his fee, including the Communist party, Hydra or the Green Goblin. His elicit activity brought him into conflict with the Hulk, Iron Man and most often Spider-Man, all of whom had to act with great caution when the Chameleon was in town. After all, which one of them could tell if that unassuming civilian or their own ally was preparing to stab them in the back?
Dmitri has some mental hangups over his time with the Kravinoffs. Heās managed to repress the memories and considered himself good friends with his half-brother Kraven. In reality, he was more like a whipping boy and slave to the Hunter, and when he has to wrestle with those feelings, he can mentally revert to that scared little boy with no strong sense of identity or independence. But when heās able to move past these feelings, the Chameleon has proved himself as a powerful, manipulative force, finding his place as temporary Crime Master of New York and member of the Sinister Six.
Notes
During one of Dmitriās mental breaks, he began to believe that he was his deceased half-brother, Kraven the Hunter. So exact was the Chameleonās performance that he moved and fought with the hunterās skill and agility. This was an extreme fringe case and there are no other examples of a disguise altering Chameleon's capabilities like this. Physical and skill-related feats from this period will be marked with [KH].

Realistic Masks- Originally, the Chameleon employed realistic masks and hairpieces to disguise himself as individuals. He kept these pieces in a multi-pocketed vest, allowing him to alter his appearance on the fly
- After getting one quick glance at Thunderbolt Ross, the Chameleon is able to make a perfect mask of the generalās face in a matter of minutes
- When the Hulk is tearing the Chameleonās car apart, he quickly changes into the guise of Rick Jones to calm the Hulk, then manipulate him into breaking a friend out of prison
- At one point, he used a gun that squirts fast-drying fluid, which kills victims via suffocation and leaves the Chameleon with a perfect mask of their face
- He once wore four masks layered on top of his plain, white one
- He gets a procedure done to his body that makes his flesh completely malleable, changing in response to electrical stimuli. He also had a specially designed costume that reacted the same way to stimuli. The final piece was a control system built into a belt that could memorize and store any face that the Chameleon encountered. - After coming across a cave full of assorted scrap mechanics, Chameleon builds a missile from the pieces. He later says he āfoundā the missile, so who knows. At any rate, the missile is strong enough to KO the Hulk when they collide.
- One time, he inexplicably escaped from Spider-Manās grasp and disappeared from the room
- He kidnaps Spider-Man and imprisons him in Ravencroft Asylum. He then unmasks the hero, puts a realistic mask and straightjacket on him and attempts to gaslight Peter, through the use of psychoactive drugs and fabricated evidence, into believing heās another man named Herbert Smith. This ruse does convince Peter for a good while until he later remembers his life with Mary Jane.
- He implies that he might be able to disguise his psyche from the telepathic X-Men member, No-Girl, although the claim is not actually proven

For the Start: I have been playing SW for about 4.5-5 years, accumulating over 2.7k hours of playtime. Given the recent influx of new players and the interest I've noticed on Reddit, I've decided to share my experiences, knowledge, and thoughts about the game.
This is also meant to be a little vent for me because of the crap that has hit the fan multiple times since I started playing. Anyway, here it starts:
Hour 0-500
It was late 2019, and the virus started to become a thing. Like everyone else, I was bored and began looking for games to play. I happened to stumble across SpyCakes and his SW videos. The game looked cool and seemed to be something my (then limited) machine could easily run while being exactly what I wanted. So I got it.
And I was hooked. In less than a week, I had already played over 70 hours, and this trend continued, though not as strongly, over the next few months. Within half a year, I had invested over 500 hours.
Hour 500-1000
Due to personal reasons, I only played the game now and then for the next year, adding up to 600 hours (with a Steam loss of about 400 hoursākeep this in mind). After that, I got addicted again and started playing the game regularly. I already had over 750 hours when the first "accident" happened. Windows crashed on me, and I had to reinstall it. I thought the vehicles were stored safely somewhere other than on Windows. Imagine my anger when I noticed they weren't.
I did something I slightly regret doing and am sorry for: I went to the bug report to "let out some steam" with sentences like "Can you please get the damn F**** vehicles that we build like any other stupid game in the Steam Cloud?" and "I've just lost F*** 1.1k play hours in vehicles because of this!" (Here comes the "lost" 400 hours).
So yeah, that was stupid. DON'T DO IT! As a result of this, I'm still invisible/muted to others on the bug reporter. I also want to add that I tried about six months later to get un-muted with no reaction.

Again, I lost my vehicles (which also happened around the same time as the bug-related problems). This was another blow. But this time, I just ignored itā"everything is just fine"āand didn't stop playing, now really learning.
I started investing real time into it. Got the DLCs when they came out and was mostly happy. Then the Space DLC came out, roughly two years after the April Fool's joke by (I think) SpyCakesācorrect me if I'm wrong. And oh god, do I HATE IT. Every other large update or DLC before actually improved the game in one way or another. Yeah, the core gameplay is nearly untouched since it came out, but I'm not that type of player. But this updateāoh god, did it break many vehicles (even my not-so-done ones). Jet engines? Useless! Bypass jets? Just as useless! Prop planes? Always the better one! Watertight areas? Nope! Oh, your plane was able to fly? Not anymore! Though many of these things have since been patched, the core issue is still thereāthe many bugs that they don't really fix. I've learned to go out of my way to build around them, but still, to this day, nearly every vehicle has some anomaly that I can't seem to fix. Even if I rip stuff from workshop vehicles, they stop working for me. Modular engines are another big thorn. And don't get me wrong, I love them! But with the ability to XML mod regular engines to make them have nearly infinite power at basically zero fuel flow, it's just something I sometimes love to use. The cooling seems to be broken for me, even for workshop vehicles (don't worry, I've reinstalled the game more than often enough).
A Hopeful Future (Which We can Only Dream of)
Despite the challenges and frustrations, I still find joy and creativity in the game. Each setback has taught me valuable lessons in patience, problem-solving, and resilience. Through these experiences, I even learned to code in Lua, which has opened up new possibilities and added depth to my gameplay.
I hope it was a joy to read, and I would love to hear about others' stories.

The most mysterious character in all of Undertale. Nobody knows where he comes from. Nobody knows where he went. Nobody knows who or what he is. We're not even sure on what he LOOKS like. from. Well, my loyal theorists, today I believe I have a theory on EXACTLY who and what Gaster is, where he came from, and where he is now. And spoiler alert, it's NOT from the Underground. If you're reading this, you're probably wondering: "If Gaster isn't a monster from the Underground, then where is he from?" Some people believe that Gaster is actually the father of Sans and Papyrus. That's ridiculous, of course, because in our last theory, we established that Sans and Papyrus are actually Mario and Luigi, and thus can't be the sons of Gaster. (One loyal theorist by the name of Marfanis788 on fandom concluded that Papyrus might actually be the great Waluigi, but that's a theory for another day.) Anyways, while this may be a bit of a controversial theory, but I believe that Gatsir is none-other than the GH(ass)T from MINCRAFP!!1! Now, I know what you're thinking: "That's preposterous! There's know way that gatsir is the ghast from minecrap." Well, with this evidence, I bet you'll be thinking differently. For one, Ghaster and Gast have very similar names. They both originate from indie-games that have left a very significant mark on pop-culture of this generation, including some of the most recognizable characters in video game history. They both live in vast realms underground that have a close resemblance to hell, and they're both monsters. You still don't believe me? Well, consider the fact that BOTH characters are PALE-WHITE. š±š±š± Well, how could this have possibly happened? How could the iconic Ghast have possibly gone under such a transformation to become Gaster? Well, before we get into that, I have an announcement to make. You've all been waiting for it. So how would a Ghast get to the Overworld? Well, how does one cross from the Overworld to the Nether? A Nether Portal. One day, the Ancient Builders from Minecraft (get caught up on minecart lore) are exploring the Nether, when one day, a few Ghasts cross through the portal. When the Ancient Builders come back after exploring, they find that the Ghasts had killed their most prized possesion; their Minecraft Dogs**.** All of them. All of the dogs were dead. The builders think that these were Overworld monsters doing personal attacks against them, as they never went to the Nether Wastelands when in the Nether. So, they declare war against all monsters that they find, monsters that they were once at peace with. And yes, the Human-Monster War all started because somebody killed their Minecraft dogs. The Ancient Builders begin a plan to force all of the monsters undeground, starting with the Ghasts. Most of the Ghasts end up dying out, as they can't survive without the intense heat of the Nether as their climate. However, a few had been able to survive and evolve. They had gotten smaller, and were able to use some of their tentacles as hands. They had also developed critical thinking, similar to that of humans and overworld monsters. Now at this point, generations have passed, and the Human-Monster War has ended. The next few parts of this theory take place far after the events of Minecraft, as the Human-Monster War is still going on at that point. We know this as monsters still roam the Overworld at this point, and they attack humans on sight, so we know that they're at war. We can also tell that the war is almost over, and the humans are winning, as the monsters are so weak that (with a few exceptions) they can only come out at night time. Now at this point, there is only one Ghast left. And his name is Gaster. Gaster had blown through most of the Underground, making most of it one massive cave. (Also, one part became really cold and started snowing for some reason, while the other part basically became the Nether because climate change = yes. Also, to help survive, Gaster moved to the Hotlands because Ghasts need that hot climate to survive, as I mentioned earlier. He also built his lab there.) Anyways, Gaster had been looking for redstone while in the Underground. And after years of searching, he finally had enough to use for his project. Using Redstone Technology, Gaster had created a machine that would turn him into a human so that he could finally leave the Underground and get revenge on the humans who forced him and his people to flee underground all those years ago. Using a tooth from one of the Ancient Builders from all those years ago, he used the DNA to turn himself into a human. However, the experiment went wrong, and his Ghast form instead merged with the human DNA, turning him into a humanoid Ghast. However, Gaster was not ready to give up just yet; for he had an idea; an evil, cunning plan to build the most powerful machine in existence; so powerful, it could wipe out entire species. He was planning on building a time machine**.** He was going to use this machine to destroy all humans; not just in this dimension, but in every theoretical timeline**.** Eventually, he was found by Asgore (who we discovered was actually the Evil Koopa King Bowser in our previous theory). After the death of Asriel, the son he had with Toriel (who we also discovered was actually Princess Peach in our last theory), Asgore grew mad with rage, and wanted to destroy all humans for what they had done to their kind and their family. Gaster had presented his idea to the angry king, who liked the idea so much that he appointed Gaster to the Royal Scientist of the Underground. Gaster worked and worked, until finally, the time machine was finished. However, it was very unstable. The experiment failed, and instead of wiping humans from time, Gaster became time. The time waves also sent back Bowser and Peach back to the beginning of time, so that they could become Asgore and Toriel again, creating a time loop instead of a paradox. Gaster was witnessed by different characters in four separate (theoretical) timelines. These witnesses scarred the characters, and they instantly started following Gaster. Some of these theoretical characters can be witnessed in the main timeline. They started spreading the story of Gaster to a select few in the main world. These main world characters then started spreading the story to others, and the story eventually became well known among the Underground monsters. People started calling him Warped Doctor Gaster, or W.D. Gaster for short, as he was warped across time and space. Still don't believe me? Still think that I fabricated this whole story to sound as ridiculous as possible while still having a kind of coherent plot line? Well, think back to Entry 17. Now, think of Entry 17 being connected to this WHOLE THEORY. "Darker, darker, yet darker. The darkness keeps growing. The shadows cutting deeper." It references Gaster being forced into the Underground by the Ancient Builders; the darkness of the cave consuming him, and the shadows of his past cutting deeper into his mind, piercing him with the trauma he felt on that fateful day. Now, the next part of the entry reads "Photon readings negative. This next experiment is going to be very, very interesting...." refers to Gaster first working on his time machine, as it took so much energy to run that each experiment he ran on it failed...until it didn't. Now, the last part of the theory is what stood out the most to me. At the very end of the entry, Gaster says "What do you two think?" Now, many people think that this is Sans and Papyrus. However, in our previous theory in which we proposed Mario and Luigi as Sans and Papyrus, we discussed that Sans and Papyrus would've just been entering the Underground when Gaster got warped. So it can't possibly be them, as the timing just doesn't match up. Well, who else could it be? It might've been Asgore and Toriel, except that Toriel had likely already divorced Asgore at this point. So what other duo do we know in the game that he could be talking to? Could it be characters we haven't been introduced to yet? Well, you see, I believe that the answer is much more simple than that. I believe that the people he's referring to is actually none other than KRIS AND SUSIE FROM DELTARUNE!!!!!!!!!!11!š¤Æš¤Æš¤Æš¤Æ But that, my friends, is a theory for another day. š So, there you have it, folks. 2024.05.16 14:39 Result-Striking After doing a campaign on both New Vegas and Fallout 4 recently, I really miss the skill/SPECIAL check dialogue options that they had in New Vegas and Fallout 3.
With all the hype around the new Fallout tv show, I couldn't keep myself from going back and replaying both New Vegas and FO4 for the memories. FO4 did a really good job modernizing a lot of aspects of the Fallout series that had begun to show their age, but I truly feel like the series lost a bit of its soul in the process.
I think a big part of it is how significantly they altered the dialogue system. In most FO4 encounters, it feels like your character's choices are yes, no, maybe (which is also usually no), and "I have a question." Then, every once in awhile, you get a persuasion check, which depends entirely on your charisma, but also has a permanent "random chance" unless you've chosen to max out Charisma. Given that, in most cases, all that stands to get you is a couple hundred more caps, it's a shit deal compared to just investing in caps collector (Cha 1 required lmao) and selling off your loot for a fortune. That puts persuasion and charisma in a weird spot for me where its not worth investing in as a SPECIAL stat, but I also still want to know what the persuasion dialogue lines are without creating a whole new character built around Charisma. Then I end up quicksaving and loading just to hear what the line is, which, I know I don't have to do that, but can you blame me for wanting to see/hear the content that the developers put into the game? It's really boring to ask a character for more information and have them say, "Uh, idk. I don't really want to talk about it." I understand that it more closely emulates reality and actual conversation, but that's not what people expect from a Fallout game.
It's really not a huge issue, but, in my opinion, New Vegas felt so much smoother and satisfying in that sense. Even small interactions like boasting your gun knowledge to some random NPC or correcting an actual scientist on something that they're studying helped make the game feel more immersive and real in a different way than Fallout 4's persuasion mechanic. New Vegas made the Courier feel like YOUR character, with their own skills, hobbies, and abilities. In Fallout 4, it feels like no matter what, you are Nate/Nora. You can be sassy/mean Nate or nice Nate. You can be Nate with a hammer or Nate with a minigun, but you're still Nate. The only aspects that set one character apart from another are their morals and which faction that leads them to align with. The Nuka World dlc was the one instance where I was like, "Cool, you can kind of talk like a raider sometimes!" It's also what made me realize just how much the rest of the game is lacking in that type of content, though. Crossing my fingers that they give the dialogue system a little more love in the next title.

Though these two lived during the same period, there is no historical evidence of them ever having met.
The child a young Da Vinci spoke to about her dreams probably went by a different name, and the same is most likely true for the child to whom a young Columbus confided his dreams.
Regardless, the two children set off on different paths, each determined to make their respective dream come true.
It was a promise made just as the sun was setting. Two children talking about their dreams, though whether it actually happened is anyone's guess.
Of course, it has nothing to do with her.

Looking at the records of minute Singularities is one of the few ways Da Vinci is able to entertain herself.
"What in the world happened here?" "How did such a crazy Singularity even exist?" She would think about how the Servants who were trapped there must have felt, or laugh at seeing her predecessor's complaining in the accompanying records, even though she knew she shouldn't.
Though Da Vinci had always admired Singularities, she never thought she would get to experience one herself. That she finally has a chance to do so feels like nothing short of a precious gemstone, and she plans to make the most of it in every way she can.

Steggy She happened to be imprinted when it hatched from its egg. Though she says "Oh no," she doesn't seem bothered at all. Sensing the impending parting, she takes care of the Stegosaurus.
Columbus (as a boy) When they were children, they apparently talked about their dreams. Unfortunately, neither of them have a clear memory of it. He wonders if he (she) has forgotten about it as an adult. Columbus, however, doesn't remember anything in particular as an adult.
Goredolf "Let's enjoy the summer with each other", she thinks. Meanwhile, Goredolf thought, "Well, it can't be helped", and worked hard at cooking.
Protagonist, Mash "Come on, let's enjoy the summer together!" she says enthusiastically. Since the two of them are very easygoing, they go along with it.

Comment from Illustrator "Adventure to Treasure Island?" That was the plan, so I dressed her up in an adventurer-style outfit with a bikini underneath. I had prepared a character illustration of her wearing a white swimsuit for her Spiritron Dress, but due to various circumstances it was shelved. Since I had the chance, I had it published in this magazine. While the design of da Vinci herself was simple, the amount of work involved in designing the dinosaur-mecha and Steggy was quite a lot. I love fighting games, but I never actually put any real time into them because I was so bad. I played Mortal Kombat X and DBFZ a few times and just thought you needed inhuman reaction times to be able to enjoy this genre. I concluded fighting games weren't for me.
However, when I saw how aesthetically pleasing Ed's boxing is in this game, I've decided to finally learn how to properly play fighting games.
My question is: Is Street Fighter a type of game that you can express yourself with in terms of playstyle? If there are 2 extremely good Ed players, would he be played the same way by both people, or is there a variety of strategies you can employ with a single character?
Apologies if this is a dumb/unclear question cuz again, I know nothing about fighting games. I asked these questions because I'm also a huge combat sports fan. For example, boxing is one martial art, but every fighter does "boxing" differently with their own style and twist on it. I was hoping this is the case for the Street Fighter characters since they are martial artists.
I guess the only analogy I can make is the League of Legends esports scene. If anyone here is aware of it, it's kind of boring to watch because everyone just picks whatever is meta/easiest to win with. There is no risk, flare, or personality to the players'/teams' playstyles. If played optimally, are you just going to see the same strategy across the board? Heya-new here, but been out as pan for several years (& just didn't know the term before that).
This is long. If someone baring their life for context to their question is not for you, feel free to skip to the end(ish), or skip it altogether. For those of you who stick around, I appreciate your forbearance, as well as your help/advice/support/whathaveyou.
With how things are generally running in the world these days, I have no idea how to meet & connect w/people, let alone start dating, but I feel like that's where I'm headed. I'm also trying to continue to make friends & build a more comprehensive & cohesive chosen family.
To say I feel stymied is an understatement.
I've been told by fiends who no longer live here, as well as a few transplants from other places, that living in Seattle doesn't exactly help. The feedback I've had from most of these people is that the social scene here, regardless of the group &/or their focus-be it music, gardening, gaming, or anything else-is pretty much surface-fake & very toxic.
Having lived nowhere else, I have no real/other perspective with this, but the sentiments regarding all of it are both clear and consistent. Frankly, some of the things they've described as "normal" frienships/interactions elsewhere sound both completely foreign to me/my experience, & absolutely lovely. These people span not only this country, but a few are on different continents altogether-which makes that consistency significant.
I realize there's no such thing as a fantasy-perfect place, & that wherever you go, there you are is definitely true, but the social culture out here is pretty damn difficult.
To be honest, I'm not really all that surprised by these evaluations. I've considered moving for various reasons, but I'd be lying if I said this wasn't one of them.
However, for me, that's not as straightforward as it might be for most people.
For starters, I'm disabled & immunocompromised, which, as you might (correctly) excpect, complicates everything in my life. Ableism is also a constant challenge, & that absolutely includes social interactions.
I am also neurodivergent, which I say with pride, but can also cause issues with the wrong neurotypical people. I've experienced this in all aspects of my life, including a few disasterous relationships (or "learning experiences", ha ha, no).
There's additional, relevant background stuff (well, relevant to me, anyway) that provides some context for how I've arrived at this point.
Here's my (recentish) story:
My spouse left me in 2012, essentially because I became disabled during the relationship (very, very common, unfortunately).
Like many, I became very isolated while I was learning how to live w/my disability. When my marriage (suddenly, unexpectedly, & without a sandgrain of warning) abruptly ended I was alone in a boat in the middle of an empty sea.
Disabled people do not have marriage equality (yep, really.), so we were married in name only-legal marriage wasn't an option. At all. What that meant for me in practical terms (not to mention with regards to my survival) was that I had zero legal recourse for financial help-or anything else, for that matter.
It did not help that my family shocked me with their complete lack of support (devestating & baffling), & I was looking at the reality of needing to shop around for the least awful shelter, because I was for sure going to become unhoused.
My now ex stepped in, said they wouldn't be the one to make me unhoused, & said they would continue to live w/me until I found stable housing I could afford. I spent a good chunk of time figuring my shit out, realizing I was nonbinary (really, just another term I had not yet encountered) & mostly focusing on building friendships (especially building my chosen family) .
I have not dated/hooked up/whatever since. This was completely by my own choice, & I stand by that decision as being the healthiest & most loving thing I have done for myself in a long time-maybe ever. I love living alone, & for the most part have learned to enjoy being solitary, experiencing no more loneliness than the average person seems to encounter along the way.
This has been somewhat compromised of late, as I had to euthanize my emotional support animal just under a year ago, followed by going low-contact with my parents shortly after. However, I have also worked very, very hard with my therapist regarding this, & we both agree I've made significant progress. I decided I was ready to do the scary thing & at least start dipping my toes (or maybe my foot...up to the knee?) into the dating pool, & began to feel that out...in late 2019.
Well, it doesn't take much of anything to know what came next: c19 hit & I was back to just staying home all the time (something I already had a lot of experience with, obviously, so during lockdown, much comfort & advice was given to those who did not-lucky bastards).
Since folks have now decided the pandemic is over (don't even get me started on that, except to say that most people see my safety needs as a huge inconvenience), I've gone back to attempting in-person interactions.
For example, I joined an lgbtqia+ (& allies) choir, & participte with a nonprofit that focuses on trauma-based teaching, providing free art classes to a highly varied student body.
But while I have made a (very) few friends along the way, dating seems to have been shoved off the table (again).
I had to leave the choir about a year ago (mainly for issues regarding their c19 policy changes that completely disregarded the several immunocompromised members of the choir-one of whom is now permanently disabled w/long covid-& the shitty way the choir leadership responded to those of us who voiced concerns/dissent).
The nonprofit is cool, but given the general population they serve, not exactly a mecca of dating options. Even friendships must be considered very carefully & evaluated often, though I very much believe in the value of the work they do, & have met some really lovely people.
I'm in an odd place of integration (ie letting shit settle), so I'm not even sure I want a relationship (yeah, yeah, I know-do not name the cup from which you will not drink). A friends-with-benfits type situation would be welcome, however, & I'm not opposed to being part of a polycule, either.
So I'm back to square one, and apps seem as good an idea as any...save for the horror stories I hear from others, especially people who are afab (like me).
If I had a name tag & was asked to label myself, "Disabled, nonbinary (afab), neurodivergent, immunocompromised, pansexual person" probably wouldn't fit.
I checked out a post in one of the bisexual-focused reddit groups, regarding dating apps (& experiences therein), but much of the discussion didn't fully apply (or apply at all) to pansexual-identifying people. That wasn't a huge surprise, of course, but it was frustrating & and disappointing, for sure.
If you've made it this far, you get a Big Gold Star Thank You (!) & a request for thoughts, advice, suggestions, stories (I could use some funny &/or encouraging ones, to be honest), & any other relevant comments, especially with regards to dating apps. This is long. If someone baring their life for context to their question is not for you, feel free to skip to the end(ish), or skip it altogether. For those of you who stick around, I appreciate your forbearance, as well as your help/advice/support/whathaveyou.
With how things are generally running in the world these days, I have no idea how to meet & connect w/people, let alone start dating, but I feel like that's where I'm headed. I'm also trying to continue to make friends & build a more comprehensive & cohesive chosen family.
To say I feel stymied is an understatement.
I've been told by fiends who no longer live here, as well as a few transplants from other places, that living in Seattle doesn't exactly help. The feedback I've had from most of these people is that the social scene here, regardless of the group &/or their focus-be it music, gardening, gaming, or anything else-is pretty much surface-fake & very toxic.
Having lived nowhere else, I have no real/other perspective with this, but the sentiments regarding all of it are both clear and consistent. Frankly, some of the things they've described as "normal" frienships/interactions elsewhere sound both completely foreign to me/my experience, & absolutely lovely. These people span not only this country, but a few are on different continents altogether-which makes that consistency significant.
I realize there's no such thing as a fantasy-perfect place, & that wherever you go, there you are is definitely true, but the social culture out here is pretty damn difficult.
To be honest, I'm not really all that surprised by these evaluations. I've considered moving for various reasons, but I'd be lying if I said this wasn't one of them.
However, for me, that's not as straightforward as it might be for most people.
For starters, I'm disabled & immunocompromised, which, as you might (correctly) excpect, complicates everything in my life. Ableism is also a constant challenge, & that absolutely includes social interactions.
I am also neurodivergent, which I say with pride, but can also cause issues with the wrong neurotypical people. I've experienced this in all aspects of my life, including a few disasterous relationships (or "learning experiences", ha ha, no).
There's additional, relevant background stuff (well, relevant to me, anyway) that provides some context for how I've arrived at this point.
Here's my (recentish) story:
My spouse left me in 2012, essentially because I became disabled during the relationship (very, very common, unfortunately).
Like many, I became very isolated while I was learning how to live w/my disability. When my marriage (suddenly, unexpectedly, & without a sandgrain of warning) abruptly ended I was alone in a boat in the middle of an empty sea.
Disabled people do not have marriage equality (yep, really.), so we were married in name only-legal marriage wasn't an option. At all. What that meant for me in practical terms (not to mention with regards to my survival) was that I had zero legal recourse for financial help-or anything else, for that matter.
It did not help that my family shocked me with their complete lack of support (devestating & baffling), & I was looking at the reality of needing to shop around for the least awful shelter, because I was for sure going to become unhoused.
My now ex stepped in, said they wouldn't be the one to make me unhoused, & said they would continue to live w/me until I found stable housing I could afford. - Numeric buff for Reckoning. Its strength should scale with Crisis Strength and by default be around 3 million.
- More detailed 50 years before the Reckoning. The End of the Cycle should have its own Favor and bonuses that unlock in stages. Its own additional functions for the Psi Corps and its own Chosen One.
- Why Chosen One of the End? What's the meaning, if you are going to end in 50 years? Well, they are going to become a villain. After the Reckoning psionic entity is defeated, if there is a Chosen One of the End, a unique species "Wights of the End" spawns in your former capital. It has the unique trait Shrouded World Preference that gives them 100% Shrouded World habitability and 80% for the other types (no one but them can colonize Shrouded Worlds, if non-Wight pops end up there, they automatically decline). They are also necrophage purifiers and have the necroid portrait of a vague robed being. The Chosen One of the End is their ruler. Wights of the End as an empire have a unique civic that scales their fleets strength with crisis strength and they also permanently enjoy all the benefits of a completed covenant with the End of the Cycle. The Shroud entities guarding destroyed systems are friendly to the Wights. If a planet with Wights is conquered by any other empire, they are auto-purged no matter if the conqueror is gestalt or not. If there is no Chosen One of the End, Wights do not spawn.
- The GalCom reacts to the End of the Cycle as a proper crisis. The Focus: End of the Cycle resolution makes everyone open borders to each other and proceed to remove the Shroud Entities, including the Reckoning. The Wights of the End are declared crisis like a normal genocidal empire.
- Once both the Reckoning and the Wights are defeated, the Shroud recedes, giving the Shrouded Worlds a terraforming candidate modifier.
- If the empire with an End of the Cycle Covenant approaches Nemesis Level 5, the End may decide to negotiate and give them an offer: drop Nemesis, and walk away scot free. If they agree, they lose both crisis aspirant status and the covenant. This has a high MTTH and is not guaranteed to fire.

 | Not sure how many people here are interested in What the Fog but since it doesn't have it's own subreddit I thought this would be the next best thing. submitted by Star60WasTaken to deadbydaylight [link] [comments] I'm going to ramble a lot about the games history that I can tell from its files, so if you're not really interested in that skip down to the next sentence with bold text to get to the meat of this post. So I'm sure most of you who did redeem What the Fog for free found it a little bit weird that in order to get your steam code you had to agree to two conditions being bHVR is allowed to data-mine from your game and share that data with 3rd party corporations. If you didn't want to agree to this you have the option of just buying the game on steam for the full price instead. Although not really major this did seem like a bit of a red flag and a couple of my friends thought so as well so I did a little digging. It didn't take long at all from looking in the games files that this game was never intended to be Dead by Daylight themed, I'm not just talking about the fact that the weapons are overly fantasy-like or the enemies and abilities don't fit the characters I mean the fact that there are literally 3 unused characters in the games files named "Paladin", "Ranger" and "Sorcerer". The folder containing all character models, textures, animations and abilities. The Paladin and the Sorcerer still have their character models left over in the files but I'm unable to view or export them (if someone figures out how, please let me know). The texture files still exist however. The diffuse textures for the Paladin, Ranger and Sorcerer While I cannot view the models I can make a rough guess of what they looked like from their UV mapping. The Paladin most likely wore a pink jacket with a white stripe and black shorts. In terms of weapons it looks like she had pink and silver armor with a pink shield baring a red emblem and a pink sword. Her skin was light with green hair and blue eyes. I originally thought that the Ranger wore a green puffer jacket but upon some more consideration with the fantasy theme it could be a gambeson that they wore over a white shirt and brown shirt, I can't see any pants on the texture so this is my best guess. Their shoes were green with black detailing and they wore a green headband with yellow writing with a yellow gem in the center of their headband. Their weapon was a green crossbow bearing yellow gems. They have dark skin with black curly hair and black eyes. The Sorcerer wore some kind of yellow plaid shirt with blue shorts, white socks with blue and red stripes, red and white shoes as well as a blue wizards hat. His weapon of choice was a staff with a bright green crystal at the top of it. He has light skin with short blonde hair and black eyes. If you've played What the Fog then you'll be able to guess that the Sorcerer was replaced with Dwight, the Ranger was replaced with Claudette and the Paladin was replaced with Feng. This sudden change was assumedly made pretty late into the games development considering the fact that some abilities still reference removed character weapons and the 'SkullNBones' models that each survivor use are still using the old weapon designs from these characters when you die which I'll go into more detail about. Feng has 3 skills she can learn which feel off, those being 'Shield Bash', 'Plated' and 'Resolve' which you can see the icons for below in that order. Shield Bash, Plated & Resolve Two of these skills still depict the character with a shield or some kind of armor despite both being absent in the final release, rather than reworking these abilities they just simply left them in despite them not making much sense. The last ability being Resolve feels off due to the art style, it's inconsistent with the rest of the drawings and the shading has more of a smeared paint look to it rather than the gradient every other icon in the game has, suggesting it was drawn over when they made the switch from the Paladin to the Ranger. (It's hard to see from this image, if anyone wants the HD texture files to compare let me know.) Despite those remnants still left over you can actually see the literal remains of the Paladin, Ranger and Sorcerer when a player dies and isn't revived by the end of the level. Below you can see the 'SkullNBones' models for each character where you can see that the sword has the Paladins design on the blade rather than the cloth wrapped around Feng's, the crossbow has the Rangers yellow gems on it instead of Claudette's pink gems and the staff has the Sorcerers green crystal in it rather than Dwight's blue crystal. The changes to this game to make it DbD themed must have happened late into development since the game already had original characters, mechanics and models before it was turned into a DbD spinoff. I assume they were also made very close to release considering how the wrong weapons displaying on dead players really should have been noticed before release. The remains of the Paladin, the Ranger and the Sorcerer being used by Feng, Claud and Dwight respectively. So what's the point of this post, well I'm a bit worried about what this game means for bHVR and DbD in the future. On the surface this game looks like a funny little DbD spinoff but from what it looks like bHVR rebranded this game as a DbD game in order to get the fanbase of its biggest title to go "Omg! New DbD thing!" and start downloading it, normally this wouldn't be a problem as a lot of game studios make sequels upon sequels to games and spinoffs because the franchise sells but this game is a little different. Assumedly the game was either a little side project of bHVR's or a test for the Devs when moving from UE4 to UE5, they either finished work on it or were interrupted as they have said that they don't plan to work on it anymore then slapped DbD onto it and released it for free if you agree to bHVR data mining and selling your data to third party businesses. TL;DR What the Fog is basically a cash grab that bHVR slapped the DbD brand on very last minute to make fans buy the game. They don't plan to update it and they also offer it to existing DbD fans for free as long as bHVR can sell and use your data. While I know that some of the decisions in the past made by bHVR have been questionable but this paired with the layoffs of 45 DbD developers back in January is making me worried that this is like the start of some drop-off for bHVR where they're going to shift their focus to how much money they can make where the qualiy of DbD suffers for it (more than it already has) and we start seeing more of these spinoffs get pushed out by the month... What really saddens me is this game could have been a passion project for some of the Devs at bHVR, then the decision was made to make it DbD branded and send the game out asap to make money. Just thought this was an interesting and somewhat saddening discovery. I help run a youth archery group that does a fun style shoot every year where we play games by shooting at targets. A few of the members and leaders also play DND. I was thinking of combining the two into a dnd archery campaign. I have a basic knowledge of the game, but have only played 2 short games. The basic idea would be that the archers participating would be split up into groups of 4 or 5. Each group would have its own DM and target to shoot at. The Main target would have 9 boxes, the center would be your Nat 20(10) and missing the target would be a 1, number 2-8 would be spaced out around it. I'm also thinking for the final target have a monster printed out for them to shoot at, which they would need to hit in certain areas to defeat. Each player in a group would be assigned 1 basic character with a couple of proficiency bonuses. The main issue I have is I don't want the kids standing around too long and getting bored. Any tips on how i can make this work?

So I've been thinking about this, and I think a Fallout episode could be cool. I have few ideas for a posible Fallout DLC. I hope you find them at least entertaining to read! And do share your own ideas of what could be done or what you'd like to see in a hypothetical Fallout episode (I'm not very knowledgeable on Fallout and I'm quite new to DbD, so feedback is appreciated)
Killers:
I have 2 possible killers, both which I consider good options.
1. The Monster of the East (Legate Lanius): I think he has some potential. He's one of the main antagonists of Fallout: New Vegas, he is a melee fighter and I think its believable he'd submit to the Entity. Also since season 2 of the Fallout series will be in New Vegas, It'd be a nice publicity move. His ability could be a powerful swing of his sword that not only insta-downs survs, but also can hit multiple at once. Of course, it'd need to be charged like Bubba's chainsaw, and if he misses, he has a longer animation, even longer than hitting a surv with a basic attack.
I'm not good with perks, but I can think of one for him. Mighty Blow: When the killer hits a survivor with a basic attack, there is a 100% chance of the survivor getting dizzy (A status effect I made up), a 50%/60%/70% chance of them getting hemorrhage and a 30%/40%/50% chance of them getting mangled. If you hit a survivor while they unhook someone, the survivor who was unhooked will suffer from hemorrhage and deep wound.
Dizzy: The survivor leaves 100% more claw marks when running. This effect only lasts 5 seconds
Its probably too OP, but whatever, you can always change it a little (Maybe no mangled chance to not entirely destroy sloppy butcher)
2. The weapon (Deathclaw): Maybe the name isnt the best, but I like it. This one makes a bit more seance. Way more well known, it can be found in every mainline Fallout game and its fully believable to integrate to the game. The problem is its abilityā¦ honestly, I cant really think of one. A lunge forward would be too basic, so the only thing I can think of is maybe jumping? Link, over pallets and windows and onto 2nd floors. A nice mobility power. And indoors it could work because the Entity wanted it, idk.
Survivor:
The survivor I have a really cool idea but Im not sure if everyone would agree... a custom surv. You could pick their hair, eyes and skin color, give them the clothes of other survs you already have (As to not make buying DLC's for survs pointless) and give them custom faces and voices. I think its the better option as only Fallout 4 (To my knowledge) has canon pre-made protagonists, and using the Fallout series might be a bit controversial... Also, other skins could be things like the elite riot gear or other clothes from Fallout games (Except power armor, for obvious reasons) Or they could just add a random guy, I guess...

AMC is the weapon used by hedge funds and insiders to keep GME from squeezing again. This is how GME is being manipulated and held down - through AMC.
AMC was a failing company long before COVID. Adam Aron is a known wall street insider and has a long career of working for them. He was assigned to AMC in order to facilitate its bankruptcy and ensure that wall street and hedgies were able to cash in on its failure.
Keith Gill aka DFV/Roaring Kitty is a big gamer. He liked the GameStop stock because he felt it was severely undervalued based on the financials that he was seeing. GameStop had been going through a corporate restructuring at the time and the stock went from being a winner to sinking like a stone. He felt, through his analysis, that the stock shouldn't have sank this way. At the time it had nothing to do with "fighting hedge funds" or anything. He just liked GameStop, so bought a ton of options in it.
When GME started spiking, wall street began to do anything in its power to stop it because they were extremely short GME and risked losing billions and billions of dollars. This is when the shady stuff started happening, and one of the things they used to stop it was AMC.
Through propaganda they tried to tie AMC and "other" meme stocks to the GME rally. They infiltrated Wallstreetbets long ago and this was one of the ways they did it. As GME began running, normies in retail started getting greedy. They thought they were missing out so they started looking for alternate meme stocks to "get in on the ground floor" before it spiked similarly. These included AMC, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Nokia to name a few.
Wall street did everything they could to encourage people into THESE stocks INSTEAD of GME. This would help slow down GME's momentum and squeeze, giving them time to bring it back down to earth. Coupled with disabling buys of GME while allowing sells only, GME was successfully tamped down.
But what to do with all the equity retail pumped into these other stocks now? DILUTE. AMC was diluted. Bed Bath and Beyond was diluted. Nokia was diluted. Is that a coincidence that all of these companies decided to dilute their stock immediately following the meme rallies? NO. It was to destroy the equity that retail put into them instead of GME to ensure that they couldn't take it out and re-allocate it to the real play.
We have seen this play out in the most recent run as well. Everyone saying AMC and GME "run together". They do not. Look at the 1 year chart, 5 year chart, 3 month chart, etc. They definitely do NOT "run together." This is propaganda being spread by wall street so that when GME starts to run, people will instead invest in AMC. Then, AMC gets diluted.
What just happened?
People thought AMC and GME ran together, started investing in AMC, and Adam Aron diluted the stock.
The rally then died.
Consider many in these communities. AMC "leaders" so to speak are largely people who seem to spout nonsense, like SOJKA. This guy works as a janitor. He doesn't know how dividends are paid, which is a basic principle of finance and investing. How did he get to be a "talking head" in the AMC community with a large following? Because he was planted there and paid to hype the company to distract from GME. Otherwise, he would have faded away to obscurity because he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. Biggums, a pizza boy. Rocket, a dishwasher. These are large names in the AMC community. Has anybody ever stopped to ask why? Who are they? Are they being paid to pump this stock?
Then compare this with DFV. Keith was financial analyst. He knows what he's talking about. His early videos and posts focused on the value behind the stock and the actual financials. Not just pumping the company as the best and saying "go support our investment to da moon!!!"
That's because DFV is/was real whereas people like SOJKA are not.
GameStop has been managed by its executives to become a profitable company. AMC has not. AMC management has performed questionable move after questionable move, diluting over and over and over with exactly suspicious timing every time the stock seems to move at all. Is this mere coincidence? How many times can it be coincidental before you start to believe it's on purpose? 2? 3? We're at something like 7 or 8 at this time. They even circumvented the will of shareholders who voted against an equity raise by issuing APE shares to do it against the shareholders' will. It was claimed that APE shares wouldn't dilute equity because the prices of the two tickers would mirror one another and you would still own the same amount of the company. This didn't happen. It was clear dilution of equity and ultimately they just rolled APE back into AMC, their mission accomplished.
The whole underage ballerina incident with AA should have been enough to bury him. Yet it was swept under the rug. You have to wonder by who and why?
Everything I have written here is stuff you can verify through your own research and looking through history from the initial squeeze to now.
Everybody claims the markets are unfair and manipulated and it's true, they are. And this is how they are doing it. They use YOU to manipulate the stocks in ways they want them to move. There is no mystery "algorithm" that just secretly and instantly takes a stock price down. They keep it down via the method I just explained.
This is why I am here, and typing all this out to try to educate you so that you can stop being used as a tool. GME is the play and was always the play. Like in life, if you want something to work you need to focus on it instead of spreading yourself thin across many different things. An NFL player becomes good enough to play in the NFL because he focuses on football above all else in life. Focus on the play. Focus on GME.

Serendipity would have it that in the final stages of editing my manuscript I learn about the Berkley open submission call (thanks to u/cogitoergognome for that, by the way). Nothing like a deadline to focus my efforts! Plus, I've spent the past month or two analyzing and critiquing other people's query letters, and have learned an immense amount, so I want to fulfill my promise and offer up my own work in turn. A few questions I'd like you all to consider:
-Is it advisable for me to pitch my novel as having "picaresque elements"? It's the best descriptor I could come up with, given the novel's inspirations (for example, I would've put Michael Chabon's Gentlemen of the Road as a comp if it wasn't too old). Is picaresque still marketable at this point?
-The most iffy part of the whole query for me is the last blurb paragraph, which I've struggled with. It's mostly there to convey that the novel has no central "antagonist" other than the main characters' own awfulness, and to a lesser extent the banality of the world around them. Do I need to modify anything about this paragraph to get that idea across, or just get rid of it entirely?
-I was considering the idea of mentioning in my bio that I'm on the autism spectrum, but I don't want to make it seem like I'm using that as some kind of gimmick or angle. Is it advantageous or disadvantageous for me to mention it, or does it not actually make much of a difference?

It concerns a trio of misanthropes on a fruitless quest for purpose, navigating both a brutal desert world and their own personal failings. It will appeal to readers of desert fantasy such as C.L. Clarkās The Unbroken and stories with the grim atmosphere of Hannah Kanerās Godkiller.
Gera knows better than anyone: in the desert world of Kasura, the only victory is survival. A deformed hunchback enslaved from birth to a subterranean prison-city, only two things have kept him alive: his aptitude for languages, and an alchemical alteration preventing him from speaking any falsehood. Embittered by a lifetime of abuse, his sole desire is a peaceful life on the surface.
Opportunity arises when Ayyad, a young one-handed amnesiac prisoner, disrupts the prison arenaās gladiatorial battles with forbidden magic. Gera takes advantage of the ensuing chaos by recruiting both him and another prisoner: Vnāab, an exiled noblewoman with unparalleled fighting skills and a remorseless disposition. Together they mount a desperate escape to the world above.
Yet freedom is only the beginning of their woes. Kasura offers no safe haven, and to survive they enter into the service of an army traversing the endless salt flats atop an immense mobile fortress. Just as they think themselves safe, they witness firsthand their hosts obliterate an entire town with terrifying incendiary weapons. A thin sickly ray of light framed Gera as he stood behind the black iron gateway, peering out at the arena. There a gigantic spider, the length of two men end-to-end, devoured the swiftly-liquefying remains of a fighting-man. The spider, nicknamed āOld Hairfinger,ā had been concealed in a pit beneath the sands, and its sudden emergence was startling to some, comical to most. A minor diversion at the start of the dayās bouts.
A minute ago, its meal had been āUrvam the Hawk-Snake,ā mighty warrior of the canyonlands and would-be revolutionary. A āhero,ā some called him.
Such was the fate of all heroes: to be consumed. As if they were never born.
Gera watched, somewhat disinterested. He heard, or felt, rather, the chants of the assembled crowd above, vibrations pulsing through the stone walls. The sun-dwellers from the surface had come down to the Pit, paying their entrance fee with bits of metal or shapestone. There, in the huge alcoves above, they came to see the strongest and most cunning of the undercity satisfy their bloodlust. To fight and, frequently, to perish.
None were there to see Gera, of course. They wouldnāt be. He was only a purpletongue, as imprisoned as the rest of the undercity. He was born a prisoner, and, he expected, would die as one.
He listened to their jeers, delivered in a dozen tongues, all known to him. His knack for languages served him well. Little else did: he was a most unsightly thing, with his misshapen hunched back, his flat nose, his bulbous eyes, his wet, jagged voice, and of course his tongue, deep purple and ever-wriggling.
