Also, these bike shorts from Halara are cute and have nice tummy support, especially post c-section… not quite as much as some of the leggings etc that are specifically for postpartum, but now that I’m 6 weeks postpartum and starting to work out again they’re just right.

2024.05.15 19:56 Cappitt the Hubris Comics terminals are so good
I finished reading all the terminals and piecing together the story and the back and forth emails between the producer, writer, and director are really funny and ultimately pretty grim. For those who haven’t read them, They basically describe a hostile creative take over by the guy who bought (most of) the ownership of the Silver Shroud series and starts making questionable creative decisions like firing the long-time actress and voice of the main female protaganist and replacing her with a younger more attractive blonde and even adding Jangles the Moon Monkey as an integral character. (focus groups love him!) On the other side, the woman who was fired and the lead writer are plotting to kidnap and/or murder(?) their boss for ruining their life’s work. The last terminals describe the plan to fly in Monday and confront him but Monday likely never came. The last terminal is dated Friday 10/20/77 and the bombs dropped on 10/23/77. Very good story telling that most people will probably not put together.

in order of how much I liked them
1.Gamesir T4 Kaleid. My favorite controller I've ever had. I've had 3 of them by now and it's the one I most consistently go back to after trying others. I enjoy how it is wired-only so it is simple, and how there is no battery to degrade. No matter what better controllers I try even high end ones, the Kaleid doing what it does for $40 makes it impossible to ignore, it existing is like an elephant in the room to all other controllers I see. "Yeah but the Kaleid does that 4x better and is 1/3 the price." It doesn't have the most premium feeling build quality, but I don't think that's what it's going for, it feels more like an impossible performance prototype.Onto specifics...the speed of this controller will spoil you. Anything else I try after it, I need to readapt. I don't know anything about polling rates or latencys all I know is, this controller is so fast it feels like it inputs before I do. (There is only one other controller on this list that feels nearly as fast and believe it or not, it's the Dualsense with Bluetooth, but I'll get there.) There's not much else I can say about speed besides it has ruined 80% of other controllers for me. I'll get the worst part of this controller out the way, the dpad is just bad. It's too stiff and it gets stuck. It's not a dealbreaker but for multidirectional inputs like fighting games it registers terribly in my experience. The 3rd controller did come MUCH better than my first 2 so I suppose it depends on the unit, but my first 2 I got had dpads that were pretty much only useful for single-actuations. It's just a stiffness problem basically. The triggers don't have stops on them, but they still have decent tension and I like them well enough. Bumpers work great but nothing really notable about them. Every other button is clicky and amazing, the back buttons and face buttons are very satisfying and have great actuation distance. The face buttons have some side to side action but I've never got a bad or sticky button. The sticks themselves are flawless, they have a mix of solid snappy centering and lack of tension when moving that I've never seen in a controller. So yeah the Kaleid is not perfect, but it's the best I've tried yet.
2.8bitdo Ultimate. This controller has my favorite design of all on this list. It is probably the only that is closer to a Switch Pro Controller formfactor. I don't know if it's my small-medium hand size or just the way I use controllers but it feels like it was made for me. Its connectivity with the dock is very stable wirelessly. The reason I moved on from it is, the parts of the controller feel cheap in comparison to the competition. The triggers, bumpers, and face buttons leave much to be desired. The dpad began to loosen quickly. The sticks felt great though, even when they were the generic Gulikit modules before they switched to Ksilvers. It also feels kinda slow after using others with better polling rate. But I dont want to just dismiss it because of this because as a product I did love it and I think it is excellent. If an Ultimate 2 is ever released with improvements I will instantly be on board.
3.Vader 3 Pro. Probably the all-rounder in terms of features, value, performance, and recommendability. Everything about it is great, my reasons for not preferring it are purely subjective. I just don't think it feels great in my hands and it isn't comfortable, it feels too much like an Xbox controller and I didn't enjoy using it as much. It's the gamepad choice among my college buddies so I certainly respect and appreciate it, it just isn't for me. The Kaleid has a similar formfactor to Xbox too but it doesn't feel that way in the hands, and it has the added novelty of the transparent RBG look that I love.
4.Dualsense Edge. This is a sad case for me. The most accurate elite feeling control on this list. S tier build quality. Saved for 2 weeks to comfortably afford it. It's perfect, but I had bad luck with 2 of mine. The USB functionality of the controller broke after firmware update, on both controllers I tried, and I never found the solution. That along with it being a whopping $200 preventing me from keeping it. My other complaints were the trigger stops didn't cut out very much, it was very heavy, and the centering/stick movement was very twitchy and jittery on mine.
5.8bitdo Pro 2. Bought this when they got a hall effect update. I loved its unique design, seemed perfect for my taste of retro and newer games. Latency was instant dealbreaker, 2nd slowest feeling controller I've used whether wired or wireless.
6.Gulilit KK2 (Zen Pro). The 1st slowest controller I've used. Got this because hall effect was new at the time and I loved the design. The moment I got home and felt its latency I brought it back.
7.Switch Pro Controller. My only experience with stick drift was with this. I bought one that had it out the box, thought it was bad luck, but my replacement was the same. And it was not mild, my character on the main menu screen was spinning around. Even after calibration and updates. Swore on hall effect after that. What I liked about it was its comfort and unique design and large face buttons, and at the time I wasn't very much into "premium" controllers and just wanted something 1st party.
The rest is specific to fight pads. These things really need an overhaul because they are beyond dated but here's my thoughts on them.
0.Hori Fighting Commander PS4. Best gamepad ever made. Has everything listed below but with high latency to boot. I put it at 0 because mine broke and it can no longer be found new, it was discontinued, unless you catch it relisted at rare times or rare places etc.1.Hori Fighting Commander Octa. This is my choice purely because it has the highest polling rate of them which to for a fighting game is essential IMO. It's only 250hz but that's higher than the others, unless you count the Haute hitbox (which I won't because that's very different from these gamepads). I'm not a fan of the Octa's plasticy design or its protruding handles, but it is the fastest so I use it. The dpad works but is a little harsh on your thumb. The buttons are mechanical but the travel is far too short and they are too sensitive. I complain about it but it works and is reliable, perhaps the most reliable on the market for fighting games. Its stick is its best feature- if you can overcome the travel distance I'd say it is the only analog stick that can be viable for competitive play. Not just the gates but the height and resistance of it, it feels very natural.
2.8bitdo M30. I love the feel and nostalgic design of this pad. It is tiny and feels great in my hands and has great build quality. There is a design flaw for fighting games though, I need to press light kick and light punch to do grabs but those 2 buttons pressed together are obstructed by the divit/cutout of the face buttons. The 2 leftmost face buttons can't be pressed together unless you bend your thumb sideways. I can get used to it but it hurts my hand after a while.
3.Hori Fighting Commander Switch. This is my ideal design and formfactor choice, exact same as the PS4 one just gret. The reason I specify switch is because, it is the only one available now, on other consoles the Octa variant has replaced it. But this is an issue because the Switch version has insanely higher latency than the PS4 one. I didn't notice it until I tested it and looked it up but when I did I realized it could be why my scores went down.
4.Razer Raion. Garbage. Terrible dpad on both the original and the updated one with the axis. It loses tension within 10 minutes of use and seems like it isn't even bothering to register you diagonals. Terrible design with pointless empty space in the bottom left, cramming up your hand. Bad input latency. Stay away at all costs.

The title. I don't know what to do. I am going to the beach from June 26 - July 1, then going to Mexico July 3 - July 11. I have a lot of venus flytraps, pitcher plants, sundews, pings, you name it, and I am scared they will dry up. I am in California and its almost certainly going to be surpassing 100 degrees every day with humidity falling below 20%. I have to water them and add water to their trays twice a day and they will die without water after about 2 days of no water because its so insanely hot. They do just fine and thrive during summer, but when I'm gone I don't really know what to do or expect. I am trying to see if a family member could come around to water them, but im afraid they will damage them, the undrained containers with way too much water. They have a drainage hole an inch below the surface to prevent flooding, but they may add too much water at once and cause soil to flood out. Any ideas? I have left them in the shade during trips and its fine, but this will be much longer and I don't know if they will start becoming sun starved. For reference they are getting about 10 hours of direct sunlight a day and increasing as the days continue to lengthen, and are very healthy and vigorously growing

I think this is only true for a small number of us. I had no prior anxiety issues, no recent traumatic life event, or anything I can point to that caused this. Just happened one night, over a month ago, and haven't been able to sleep properly since.
Before that night, I slept 9-10 hours every single night with no issues. Never had sleep problems in my life. Does not sleeping cause some anxiety? Of course. But what makes insomnia prolonged? My anxiety died down weeks ago, so why hasn't my sleep returned to normal? I lie in bed calm, normal heart rate, no racing thoughts, relaxed. Still can't fall asleep no matter how many hours pass. That's not anxiety anymore, a switch has been flipped.
Something physiological changed that night, and it probably has to do with the sympathetic nervous system. This is completely out of one's control. Your body breathes, and your heart beats without your help. Sleep is the same, it's supposed to just happen. How can I be up for days straight and not feel tired at all? Something is broken! There are no youtube videos or techniques that can help you manage your subconscious nervous system.
Maybe I was exposed to a virus but didn't have symptoms, and that triggered it. In the Covid sub, a large percentage of the users seem to report insomnia as a lasting side effect. No matter the trigger, my point is that a physical change in the brain/body seems to have taken place, and whether it can be undone or fixes itself seems to be specific to the individual. Basically seems like luck whether you get through it or not.
Some claim cbt-i cured them, others meditation/yoga. Some said probiotics are the answer. Some want to sell you the cure. But how can you be sure it wasn't placebo/coincidence, and your body was just already on the path to fixing itself? Correlation does not mean causation.

 | I purchased this D5 3qt sauté pan in December of last year at Sierra trading post without packaging. It was a $75 score and I’m thrilled with it. I’ve since become an All-Clad fanboy and have totally overhauled most of my cookware. I think it’s great. The other day I realized that this D5 piece didn’t have the standard D5 Handle notch that all others have. It is marked as a D5 and the 5 layers are visible on the rim of the pan. At first I figured it was something isolated to sauté pans but after some research it appears that all D5 cookware had the notch on the handle. Were these ever made with a handle like this or do I have some sort of anomaly pan? I truly don’t care I just thought it was an interesting find and wondered if this was a factory blunder. Former Colorado G/F Cody Williams, a McDonald's All American and top 5-10 recruit in the 2023 class, entered the NBA Draft and is all in: https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1782484315122614490 Cody missed 13 games this season with wrist, eye, and ankle injuries and after a very strong start to his season, which saw him skyrocket to the top 5 of mocks with some flirtations with the #1 overall pick, he cooled down and has seen his stock mostly sit from around the end of the top 10 to mid-teens.
Williams measured in at 6'6.5 without shoes and 7'1 wingspan at the combine. He's about 6'8 in shoes, and combined with his awesome wingspan and reach, is fantastic size for a combo forward. His wingspan is central to some of his biggest strengths as a prospect. On the downside, he only weighed in at 178. He's a thin guy with a thin frame and he'll likely always be on the thinner side. Strength is a big concern of his as a prospect, both as a player and in terms of his ability to remain durable throughout an 82 game season.
Williams is a good athlete. His athleticism is a little distinct from many. He's very fluid and light on his feet as an athlete. He has very good body control in the air. He can really jump with a little space and when on the move. But he doesn't have tremendous pure burst/explosiveness from a standstill. He has good quickness and accelerates through the gears quickly and the fact he's light on his feet and has good timing as a driver makes his first step a decent one, but he doesn't have an elite top gear.
Williams not having elite burst and being on the frail side means he's not too much of a pure self-creator at the moment. When he gets to the rim, it's usually in translation, off rips from the perimeter, out of DHO/PNR's on ball, or off curls and screens off the ball. He gets to the rim off designed actions and he gets to the line at a decent rate on these actions, but not much off his own creation.
Williams was a fantastic finisher at the rim this year. He gets great extension around the rim. He takes long strides as a driver. He's really light on his feet as a driver. He will change speeds, give a defender a hesitation move before attacking out of the PnR and does a good job slithering his way to the rim. He's decisive when he decides to catch and rip from the perimeter and has really good timing as a driver. His timing, his stride length, solid quickness and fluidity makes him hard to contain when he's catching and taking it to the rim off spot ups, he's a fantastic finisher on these plays, and he's very good off curls/screen actions designed to get him downhill; his size, his strides/quickness, timing, means he's usually gaining advantages on defenders he faces. The extension he gets around the rim, and his very soft touch with floaters and hooks around the rim, gives him a lot of range around the rim to finish. He has fantastic ability to adjust in the air. He does a great job reading when his defender is ball watching, does a great job manipulating defenders into creating opportunities for himself for cuts to the basket, and he dives quickly to the basket. He has great instincts as a cutter and find his way into a few easy baskets a game.
He has mismatch potential in the post with his size/length. He has nice footwork in the post. He likes turning into the basket and taking a hook/floater and his touch is also excellent on these shots. This is a part of his game that could be leveraged a bit more at the professional level and as he gains strength.
Williams isn't an awful ballhandler but he's not a great one either. He can handle in transition and he can bring the ball up and facilitate. He's not that great when handling the ball in tight spaces. He doesn't have a tremendous amount of shake. He does have a deceptive crossover that allows him to gain space but he doesn't have a ton of shake outside of that. He has a nice spin move and has some impressive possessions breaking free from a defender with the spin move, but he can overuse it. He gets stripped using the spin move or stripped looking to drive down the middle of the lane quite a bit. He will get cut off on drives because he's unable to gain separation. The combination of his only average handle, lack of strength, and pedestrian burst I think is partially responsible for his passivity on the offensive end. He doesn't have a ton of middle game at this point; he's a mediocre pull-up shooter. He's fantastic in transition with his athleticism and his ability to both push it with the ball and be a play finisher, but he's just not a halfcourt self-creator. The question is whether or not people feel this is a part of his game that he can develop in the years ahead. Because his ceiling on the offensive end hinges quite a bit on this part of his game taking a jump.
He does get to the rim out of the PnR. As said above, he does a nice job slithering to the rim out of the PnR. Plays under control and is able to maneuver his way to the basket. He finds rollers out of the PnR and he can make the skip pass. He is a fair drive and dish option. He's not an advanced playmaker or passer but has some flashes. He moves the ball well and he does a pretty good job getting his team into offensive sets as a facilitator. He will find cutters as a facilitator from the key. He turned the ball over too much...had a fair few miscommunications with teammates, lazy/poor passes, and he's not strong enough with the ball right now. He will get bumped off spots when looking to drive and not be able to get to the rim. He gets pushed away from the rim on drives a decent amount but his length still allows him to finish on a lot of these drives; but it also makes him more vulnerable to turnovers as defenders can take away his air space and force him into picking up his dribble.
Williams has a mechanically sound shot and 41.5% from 3 but only on 1.5 attempts. He shot 71% from the FT line. He is elite in the C&S. He's someone who needs a little space to gather his footwork but he does a good job at making himself a presentable target from the perimeter and hitting the open looks. He's not the most dynamic shooter currently, but I do think the C&Sing is for real, and combined with his secondary creation ability and ability to make plays off closeouts, he's someone who's a solid option as an off ball scorer.
Williams is not much of a rebounder for a 6'8 player. This is another red flag that many have regarding his desire to take on contact, lack of aggression and lack of physicality. He was a good defender anyway at Colorado this year....he flips his hips very fluidly. He is very light on his feet. Moves really well laterally overall, although he doesn't always react to initial moves as well as he needs to. His wingspan is of big benefit to his ability to recover when beat and contest shots. He has urgency/quickness in recovering when he's beat.
Screens can really bury him at times, but he's not a disaster in dealing with traffic. It's not a positive for him at the moment overall, which further illuminates the necessity in he gaining muscle going forward. He will at times shy away from contesting shots around the rim. He isn't super active off the ball defensively. He does a good job using his length to deter passes in passing lanes but he's not a ball hawk and he plays a pretty contained brand of defense. You appreciate the fundamentally sound nature of his defense but also believe there's defensive playmaking ability there that's gone untapped.
Cody will get pushed back on ball defensively against guys who drive into his chest. He's a really good isolation defender, and also a strong PnR defender where his length really comes to fore, he does a good job rotating and has strong overall defensive instincts, but he will give up buckets to drivers going downhill off DHO's/screens. He can't wall them off. He can be pretty jumpy on rotations...he bites on fakes and flies out of plays too often. He has moments of discipline but too many mistakes. Ball watches too often on defense. Freshman mistakes. His defense overall was good, and the upside is excellent on this end as/if he gains strength, but he can certainly be better than he was this season at Colorado.
Cody Williams had his ups and downs as a freshman at Colorado, but remains a very intriguing prospect with his physical tools, versatility on the offensive end, and ability and upside on the defensive end. I think he was clearly a bit oversold as a #1 pick. He's too much of a project on the offensive end and is simply not enough of a finished product to be a #1 selection even in a class like this. He has a lot of upside on both ends of the floor and simply gaining strength would be a huge boon for him as a player, but there are questions surrounding his mentality and whether he's someone who has the mental makeup of a star. There are questions surrounding how much strength he'll be able to add. Even with all of the questions, many view him as one of the highest ceiling prospects in this draft class. If it all comes together, you could see why that is this season at Colorado.

Screens can really bury him at times, but he's not a disaster in dealing with traffic. It's not a positive for him at the moment overall, which further illuminates the necessity in he gaining muscle going forward. He will at times shy away from contesting shots around the rim. He isn't super active off the ball defensively. He does a good job using his length to deter passes in passing lanes but he's not a ball hawk and he plays a pretty contained brand of defense. You appreciate the fundamentally sound nature of his defense but also believe there's defensive playmaking ability there that's gone untapped.
Cody will get pushed back on ball defensively against guys who drive into his chest. He's a really good isolation defender, and also a strong PnR defender where his length really comes to fore, he does a good job rotating and has strong overall defensive instincts, but he will give up buckets to drivers going downhill off DHO's/screens. He can't wall them off. He can be pretty jumpy on rotations...he bites on fakes and flies out of plays too often. He has moments of discipline but too many mistakes. Ball watches too often on defense. Freshman mistakes. His defense overall was good, and the upside is excellent on this end as/if he gains strength, but he can certainly be better than he was this season at Colorado.
Cody Williams had his ups and downs as a freshman at Colorado, but remains a very intriguing prospect with his physical tools, versatility on the offensive end, and ability and upside on the defensive end. I think he was clearly a bit oversold as a #1 pick. He's too much of a project on the offensive end and is simply not enough of a finished product to be a #1 selection even in a class like this. He has a lot of upside on both ends of the floor and simply gaining strength would be a huge boon for him as a player, but there are questions surrounding his mentality and whether he's someone who has the mental makeup of a star. There are questions surrounding how much strength he'll be able to add. Even with all of the questions, many view him as one of the highest ceiling prospects in this draft class. If it all comes together, you could see why that is this season at Colorado.

I recently got another bunny (Snoop) this last Saturday to bond with my current bunny (Bixby).
Snoop is an 8 month old neutered lop (neutered 4 weeks ago)
Bixby is an 8 month old spayed dwarf/lop (spayed 2 months ago)
Their initial speed date went amazing. They got along great. Bixby let Snoop groom her a little. They didn't fight in the car ride home.
When we got back, I placed them in side by side enclosures about 8 inches apart where they can still see each other but can't fight.
I let Snoop rest for a few days before trying to initiate their next date. When I placed them in the area (Small boxed in, neutral area of the house, puppy pad underneath), Bixby immediately tried to attack Snoop. I broke up the fight before any injuries and took some time, calmed them down, tried again to the same thing.
I've been swapping toys/blankets every day between their enclosures, and entire enclosures every few days so they get used to sharing things and scents.
Whenever I place Snoop's blanket in the pen that Bixby is in, she growls and lunges at it.
All in all, Bixby is being quite territorial. I don't think Snoop has an aggressive bone in his body, he tries to run away when Bixby attacks. I am hesitant to try placing them in a neutral area again. I was hesitant to put them in the same carrier when I took them to the vet.
Is there anything else I should be doing? Does it just take more time before Bixby calms down and gets used to Snoop's scent?
Any and all advice welcome. Please and thank you!

For some reason, I have intense muscle pain on my LEFT side and several inches around my bellybutton (that at least makes sense). Getting out of bed if so difficult, as the muscles across the left side of my abdomen feel like they’re overstretching. I’m honestly not sure why it’s my left side - maybe overcompensating?
Please tell me this gets better. Ice and heat haven’t helped at all.

So I got an old 10.5 inch, 2017 Ipad Pro (A10X Fusion I believe). I'm about to upgrade to the new M4 iPad Pro - and I am SO excited!
However - I can't decide one the size. Should I go for 11" or 13". I know that weight, screen real estate and aspect ratio Plays a big factor. I plan to get a magic keyboard as well.
So... what do I use it for? I would use it alot for (not in a specific order): - Making music in Logic Pro - Taking notes while studying (quite a biggie for me) - Plugging it into an external display when at Office for studying/working - Media consumption - Travel with me whenever I go traveling - Writing books/journaling/using Scriveneplanning etc. (quite a biggie for me) - Gaming (quite a biggie for me)
I can't decide on the size. I reckon the weight/size part of having it in my backpack and carrying it around doesn't matter to me, as my old Laptop is quite a big heavy monster. The portability then mostly seems to come down to "is there table space enough to set this up" - but I reckon there will mostly be this anywhere?
I reckon the larger screen and aspect ratio is good for Logic Pro and anything related to writing/journalist as well as studying (split screen/stage manager (which I have yet to try - it isn't available on my current 10.5 inch).
I dont know if the 4:3 aspect ratio will be annoying when gaming? When gaming it will either be on the table (cloud gaming with controller) or in my hands (mostly in my hands/lap out of the magic keyboard case). I am worried it will be too big and weird aspect ratio for gaming in my hands? Or with media consumption/netflix etc.? Any idea here?

Jeg er blevet headhuntet til et job for 2 mdr. siden.
Jobbet var ikke slået op. Jeg blev prikket på skulderen og efter en samtale, vendte lederen tilbage med, at hun gerne ville gå videre med mig. Hun synes, min profil var rigtig spændende - både kompetencemæssigt og personligt.
Vi aftalte gensidigt, at jeg kunne starte i praktik og dermed have en længere overlevering ift. den stilling, jeg står til at skulle overtage.
Hun sagde, at vi selvfølgelig skulle have formalia på plads, så jeg ville blive fritaget fra jobsøgning og jobcenter imens. Hun ville ringe tilbage til mig, så vi kunne få det sidste afklaret og også få snakket lidt mere konkret om stillingens indhold, løn, vilkår osv. Og hun kom endda med et konkret tidspunkt, hvor hun ville vende tilbage.
Det gjorde hun bare ikke. Jeg forsøgte flere gange at få kontakt, men det blev bare til korte beskeder på mail, uden den information, jeg reelt havde brug for. Så jeg vidste faktisk ikke, om jeg skulle i praktik eller ej, før jeg fik besked om det via jobcentret i min e-boks en fredag, hvor jeg skulle starte mandagen efter.
Jeg tænkte, at der ikke var så meget andet at gøre, end at møde op, og så kunne jeg få snakket med lederen hurtigst muligt derefter om det videre forløb.
Det var forrige mandag og jeg har nu været i praktik i snart to uger. I dag var første dag, lederen tog sig tid til at snakke med mig på min opfordring. Hun ville bestemt ikke snakke kontrakt med mig og synes, det var frækt af mig, at jeg spurgte ind til det allerede. Hun vil bruge praktikken på at se mig an, fordi hun ikke kender mig, sagde hun. Jeg tænker, at det kunne hun jo bare have sagt og ellers er det vel sådan, det altid er i en normal ansættelsessituation og det, man har en prøveperiode til, når en aftale er indgået.
Udover det, følte jeg, at hun til samtalen var ret nedværdigende og devaluerende ift. mine kompetencer og begejstring. Jeg selv læser det, som om, hun føler jeg udfordrer hendes lederskab og har brug for at hævde sig på min bekomstning. Hun fik bl.a. talt ned om mit uddannelsesniveau. Hun sluttede af med at sige, at vi kunne snakke igen fredag i næste uge. Og at hun umiddelbart tænker, at det nok skal blive til et job i den anden ende. Men jeg ved snart ikke, om det er et job, jeg gider at have.
Imens er der gået to uger. Alle medarbejdere på stedet snakker med mig, som om jeg allerede er ansat og bruger mange kræfter på at oplære mig til ansættelse - som jeg stadigvæk ikke kender vilkårerne på. Lederen har ikke snakket med mig, om hvordan min tilstedeværelse skal forvaltes, men har mange meninger herom. Der har ikke været nogen plan overhovedet. Medarbejderne har været gode til at tage ansvar og støtte mig i processen, men bruger også virkelig mange ressourcer på det.
Det er en, på papiret, virkelig attraktiv stilling. Det er nogle virkelig søde og dygtige medarbejdere, som jeg allerede kommer virkelig godt ud af det med - og i en hverdag, kan man måske abstrahere fra dårlig ledelse og at gå potentielt 10.000kr. ned i løn (hvilket jeg lige har fundet ud af, nok også bliver tilfældet). Men lige nu er jeg afhængig af en leder og min motivation daler lige så stille.
Jeg mener selv, at jeg, under kendte vilkår, er nem og samarbejdsvillig - men lige føler jeg mig snigløbet og jeg føler mig utryg ved lederens, i min optik, utilregnelighed.
Det er et lille sted, uden HR afdeling eller noget andet, der kan tage over og sørge for et herfra professionelt forløb.
Jeg har så mange modsatrettede følelser.

Hello, just have a quick question about Saniderm. I'm on mobile so excuse my formatting. I've got a tattoo done yesterday and my artist recommended leaving the Saniderm sheet on for 24hrs or less, and then reapplying a second sheet and keep that one on for 3-6 days. I've removed the first sheet after ~14 hours as a corner peeled off a bit exposing some of the tattoo. My artist recommended applying a very thin layer of non-petroleum lubricant and then the second sheet on top. I've went ahead and done this, having left roughly a half inch of extra adhesive around all sides of the tattoo. I've also rounded the corners to prevent it from getting caught on my clothes. Only problem I'm facing now is that due to the thin layer of Hustle Butter I used, the adhesive didn't apply over the tattoo but it did on the skin around it. This resulted in a pretty big air pocket all over the ink. Will this be a problem? It's applied correctly around the tattoo, just not directly on it.

This is my first write-up of any kind of unresolved mystery, on any platform, so I apologize for any formatting errors and my storytelling ability. Today I would like to hear your thoughts on the very mysterious death of Noah Presgrove, a 19 year old from Comanche Oklahoma. I have tried to be as thorough as possible with the details, but there is a great deal of conflicting information in the news reports, so I primarily used facts stated by Noah's family in interviews. With that said, let's begin...
Noah Presgrove was a handsome, athletic 19 year old from Comanche Oklahoma, which is located just south of Oklahoma City in the middle of the state. Noah had recently graduated high school in the spring of 2023 and was waiting for his cousin to do the same the following year so they both could enlist in the Marine Corp together and serve our country. By all accounts Noah was a ladies man, standing at 6'2" with an athletic build, in high school he was a 4-sport athlete with American Football and Wrestling among them. His family also says he was adventurous, kind and very much a jokester who would happily play pranks on his family. Last Labor Day weekend, the first weekend of September 2023, Noah was deciding between attending Rocklahoma, an annual 3-day hard rock and metal festival held in Pryor, Oklahoma, with family members or attending a 4-day Labor Day weekend bash/22nd birthday party of a friend. Noah considered going to Rocklahoma, but changed his mind when the family members he'd be attending with said they didn't think it was a good idea for Noah's 16 year old friend to join them there, since they didn't know this friend's family and Rocklahoma is big for consuming alcohol. With that, everyone went their own way to celebrate the holiday weekend.
The Labor Day/Birthday party was for a female friend of Noah's who was turning 22. It had been advertised on Snapchat, even containing the address, so quite a few people were expected to attend. Noah drove himself to the party on Saturday and by all accounts enjoyed himself. He did text his family member who was at Rocklahoma and express regret at not going with them, but it doesn't appear that this put too much of a damper on his attitude at the house party. After spending Saturday at the birthday girl's house, Noah returned home Sunday, probably to freshen up and take care of any outstanding errands or just check in with his grandmother, with whom he lived. Also, Noah's car was leaking from the oil pan, so it sounds like part of the reason to return home was to leave it there so he wouldn't have to worry about it. There are two stories about what happened next: The first is that one of Noah's friends picked him up from his house on Sunday, but took him to a truck stop so he could grab some food from the Sonic there. Oddly, the friend who took him there says he left him there and Noah was then given a ride to the party by the birthday girl, who had to come pick him up. The other story is that his best friend picked him up from his house and took him directly to the party, leaving him in the driveway. Either way, Noah was back at the party on Sunday and according to those present, was very much enjoying himself. There were videos from the party showing Noah and his friends doing "guy things" like the Slap Game, where two people try to slap each other across the face as hard as they can. Just "macho" drunken teenage guy things. There was also video from the party of the guests playing "classic" party games such as beer pong.
With all the drinking going on, some issues were bound to arise. A confrontation happened between Noah and his best friend. Noah had been in a corner with his best friend's girlfriend and apparently they had their backs to everyone else while talking. The best friend took exception to this and an argument ensued. Luckily, it did not become physical and they made up shortly after, but this event with the best friend and his girlfriend is important for later. A second confrontation occurred between Noah and a 16 year old guest that did become physical. The 16 year old accused Noah of hiding his phone, although the reasons why he thought Noah did it have not been stated. During the argument the kid "fishhooked" Noah and Noah returned the favor by biting his finger. It seems like the other people there were able to diffuse the situation and the kid's phone was found underneath another guest who was sleeping on a couch. As the day went on, things continued to become crazier as the people at the party drank more and more. At one point girls at the party started signing their names on Noah's torso and buttocks, writing things such as "Noah's hot!" and drawing a cartoon penis on his rear-end. Noah and the best friend he had the argument with even drove a John Deere "Gator" UTV "Side by Side" around the property, but stopped when Noah scrapped his hand almost flipping it over. Some people even say that Noah was tossed from the UTV, but he was checked out by a nurse at the party and she said he had nothing to worry about. Another event worth mentioning is that the birthday girl seemed to have a crush on Noah. Noah realized this, or was told this, and while talking to her about it called her a "fat, nasty b*tch". I assume that they were close friends and this is just a drunken teen being a drunken teen. An odd thing to mention is that this girl's mother, who also lives in the home, had told Noah's family that she believed Noah wanted her sexually. Whether this is true or not, I have no clue, but it seems a very weird thing to say to the family of a 19 year old your daughter is friends with.
So here's where the mystery comes in. Early Monday morning (September 4th, 2023), after 2:00am, the guests say that Noah was upset about something and that it might have had to do with sleeping in either the birthday girl's or her mother's bed. One of them either heard, or saw, Noah attempting to sleep in their bed and demanded that he go on the floor. This apparently upset Noah so much that he said he needed to go out for a walk, completely drunk, very early in the morning. The guests say Noah was wearing his best friend's shorts (we'll get to his clothes later) and could only find one of his shoes, so he grabbed another shoe lying around the house and took off out the front door. The house had a 1/2 mile long driveway that then went out to US-81, a major North-South highway that runs for 1,200+ miles through the central US. At 3:41am, a friend of Noah's posted a weird Snapchat: a photo of a girl at the party smiling, with the caption "well, Noah's missing". This was the last Snapchat posted by any of the partygoers after days of constant videos and pics. Around 5:00am, a semi-truck driving along US-81 saw something he believed to be a body lying on the shoulder of the road. After driving past, he became concerned and turned around to confirm what he saw. By the time he got back, two other vehicles had stopped in front of the lifeless body of Noah on the shoulder. He was completely naked wearing only 2 mismatched shoes and curled up in a fetal position. He appeared to have blunt force trauma to the back of his head. He had small scrapes on his left shoulder and left hip and his fingertips on both hands were reported as being "shredded", down to the bone. Noah's front top and bottom teeth had also been knocked out and they were found scattered at the scene. There was no blood found at the scene, other than a small amount around Noah's injuries. Very concerning was the fact that there was no writing on his body anywhere. Not on his torso and not on his buttocks. The shorts Noah was wearing were found folded up next him. The people at the party said "They must've been knocked off when he was hit.", which obviously does not make sense.
Around 6:00am, with the police already notified by the people who found Noah, all Snapchat's/social media from people at the party was deleted. His friends and acquaintances at the party say they have no idea what led up to his death and they were unaware of it. The police did not search the house because they said: "Noah wasn't found there.". They did eventually conduct a "mass" interview with all the partygoers. During this interview, Noah's best friend's girlfriend, the one that led to his first confrontation, told police she had never met Noah. She had wiped her phone so completely that even her boyfriend's number had been deleted. When the guests were asked about Noah being naked, the girls said they gave Noah a "shower", but Noah's mental state at the time, whether mildly drunk or completely inebriated, has been an area of dispute among the guests. Some say he was joking around and being himself while being showered, other accounts state that he was barely conscious. Noah's clothing he wore to the party that night has never been located. Police were told that after Noah showered his clothes were dirty, so he wore his friend's shorts. There is a rumor that his best friend's father found Noah's shirt from the party, which was then cut-up and distributed to the party attendees as a "memento". In addition to this event with his shirt, there is also information that his best friend's father had some of Noah's teeth in his pocket. He stated he "accidentally" picked them up from the crime scene. It's worth stating that this particular individual has been on Noah's family's Facebook memorial page for months, arguing with others on there. Just very odd behavior from an adult father who's son's best friend died mysteriously. But, on this same topic, NONE of the partygoers or their families have ever visited Noah's family to express their condolences. Never once.
Since Noah's friends and others at the party said they didn't know what happened, the police had their work cut out for them. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol obtained a "geofence" warrant covering a 1-1/2 mile radius around the party house. What they found was a bit disturbing. Around the time it is believed Noah died, 2 phones were traced as having left the house, heading to the location of his body. After briefly staying there, the two phones returned to the house. People at the party told a private investigator hired by Noah's family that they went out looking for Noah in the UTV/Gator that Noah and his friend had been on earlier. If they had really done this, they would have found him since the phones were at the spot Noah was found. It has not been released who exactly this was. Also revealed when police searched phones was a video of the birthday girl and her sister on their front porch, screaming at each other about Noah leaving the party. It is believed that this could be relevant. The Texas Rangers also became involved, due to the fact that two men at the party were from Texas. It is not known if these men are persons of interest. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol also quietly issued a warrant for a "black pick-up truck" believed to have been used to dump his body, but it is unknown why they are looking for this particular vehicle. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has unequivocally stated that this was 100% NOT a hit-and-run. They have now also said that this is NOT a murder investigation. The Medical Examiner's report released on Monday, May 13th 2024 stated that Noah died from "Multiple Blunt Force injuries", but list the manner in which this happened as "unknown". His report also detailed extensive injuries to the teen's upper body, including 10 broken ribs, serious skull, neck, and spine fractures, internal bleeding, brain and organ damage, and cuts and grazes all over his body. The autopsy also revealed air in both his cranial cavity and spinal cord, extremely rare conditions only caused by massive head trauma. The family has heard rumors that a golf club from the set in his best friend's truck may have been involved, but nothing else has come of this.
The family has engaged with a private investigator, who did uncover previously unknown information, and gave that to the police. They have also said that there is much more which has not been publicly released and that the search of the phones did uncover good information. Also according to the family, some evidence has been covered-up or lost and that the day after the party, the birthday girl's house and property reeked of bleach. Despite this, his family says good things are going on behind the scenes.
So, with all of the above information, it doesn't seem to be a stretch to say that someone from the party knows something. It is my personal belief that this case will be resolved, but I think three things will have to happen: Time, Pressure and Guilt. At some point in the future, someone from the party will feel guilty, or media pressure will get to them and they will talk. Unfortunately, it may take some time unless the police uncover new evidence sooner. Some say he was joking around and being himself while being showered, other accounts state that he was barely conscious. Noah's clothing he wore to the party that night has never been located. Police were told that after Noah showered his clothes were dirty, so he wore his friend's shorts. There is a rumor that his best friend's father found Noah's shirt from the party, which was then cut-up and distributed to the party attendees as a "memento". In addition to this event with his shirt, there is also information that his best friend's father had some of Noah's teeth in his pocket. He stated he "accidentally" picked them up from the crime scene. It's worth stating that this particular individual has been on Noah's family's Facebook memorial page for months, arguing with others on there. Just very odd behavior from an adult father who's son's best friend died mysteriously. But, on this same topic, NONE of the partygoers or their families have ever visited Noah's family to express their condolences. Never once.
Since Noah's friends and others at the party said they didn't know what happened, the police had their work cut out for them. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol obtained a "geofence" warrant covering a 1-1/2 mile radius around the party house. What they found was a bit disturbing. Around the time it is believed Noah died, 2 phones were traced as having left the house, heading to the location of his body. After briefly staying there, the two phones returned to the house. People at the party told a private investigator hired by Noah's family that they went out looking for Noah in the UTV/Gator that Noah and his friend had been on earlier. If they had really done this, they would have found him since the phones were at the spot Noah was found. It has not been released who exactly this was. Also revealed when police searched phones was a video of the birthday girl and her sister on their front porch, screaming at each other about Noah leaving the party. It is believed that this could be relevant. The Texas Rangers also became involved, due to the fact that two men at the party were from Texas. It is not known if these men are persons of interest. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol also quietly issued a warrant for a "black pick-up truck" believed to have been used to dump his body, but it is unknown why they are looking for this particular vehicle. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has unequivocally stated that this was 100% NOT a hit-and-run. They have now also said that this is NOT a murder investigation. The Medical Examiner's report released on Monday, May 13th 2024 stated that Noah died from "Multiple Blunt Force injuries", but list the manner in which this happened as "unknown". His report also detailed extensive injuries to the teen's upper body, including 10 broken ribs, serious skull, neck, and spine fractures, internal bleeding, brain and organ damage, and cuts and grazes all over his body. The autopsy also revealed air in both his cranial cavity and spinal cord, extremely rare conditions only caused by massive head trauma. The family has heard rumors that a golf club from the set in his best friend's truck may have been involved, but nothing else has come of this.
The family has engaged with a private investigator, who did uncover previously unknown information, and gave that to the police. They have also said that there is much more which has not been publicly released and that the search of the phones did uncover good information. Also according to the family, some evidence has been covered-up or lost and that the day after the party, the birthday girl's house and property reeked of bleach. Despite this, his family says good things are going on behind the scenes.
So, with all of the above information, it doesn't seem to be a stretch to say that someone from the party knows something. It is my personal belief that this case will be resolved, but I think three things will have to happen: Time, Pressure and Guilt. At some point in the future, someone from the party will feel guilty, or media pressure will get to them and they will talk. Unfortunately, it may take some time unless the police uncover new evidence sooner. i am just finishing episode 14 and oh my gosh even previous episodes, rachel has been so NASTY! the way that she thinks she can talk to katie at sur the night of katies and ariannas sandwich tasting about tom and how she doesn’t find it nice how katie is treating him, blah blah. sorry if this is terrible i’m so sleep deprived !!
TLDR: my friends tinder date turned boyfriend has not left her place for over a week (since they met) except for work, not left her side including to shower, and they’ve been high together the whole time and her roommate and i are getting concerned because this guy is essentially a stranger.
i need a fresh perspective on this situation because i’ve only talked about this with my friend and her roommate, who i’m also very close with. her roommate and i tend to spiral when we talk about stressful things because he gets delusions and i’m chronically paranoid, and we’ve talked this to death but im not over it.
so april 28th my friend got dumped by some guy she was dating for 8 months, it was incredibly out of the blue and harsh, and she was wrecked. she’s not someone who subscribes to hookup culture generally, and the last thing she was going to do was sleep around. between april 28 and may 5 she’s been getting over him, classic breakup shit, and going clubbing a lot. i have a slutty week about once a year, around this time, so i’d been on tinder like a full time job throughout this week. she ends up hooking up with a guy she met at the club, entirely out of character, and that guy ghosts her. she’s not super mad, but again she’s not a fan of hookup culture, so her single life is not off to the best start. she keeps bugging me to swipe on my tinder, and she keeps seeing her type, so she decides to redownload tinder. there was this one guy that we both saw and i wasn’t into him but she was, but i can’t remember if she matched me with him when she was still using my tinder. there was also at some point a guy i was going to meet up with, but i had to block because he was way too intense, and was scaring me, im not sure if it’s that same guy or not because i never screenshotted anything from his account because i was talking to him while i was driving (busy gal that week yk?). anyway, she gets tinder and matches with the guy who i wasn’t into, and she decides to have him over that night. i crash on their couch a lot, and i get uncomfortable with men so i wasn’t super chill with this and neither was her roommate, but the guy comes over and spends the night. she had also told us that this guy was not interested in having sex right away, and neither was she, they were just meeting.
i go home the next morning because i have work and school, and just life stuff, and her roommate is texting me funny anecdotes about her “hookup”. we’re both kinda confused because this is out of character for her, they weren’t initially going to hookup, and it just didn’t make sense. at some point i actually meet the guy, and he’s fine, a pretty charming person and fairly nice but something about him is throwing me. i shrug it off because he’s got to go home at some point, and that’s when i can ask her about it. a few days pass, and they’ve both called into work sick a couple times, and have not really left the apartment, and definitely had not had time apart. i talk to her roommate about this, and we’re both a little concerned, but assured that it can’t go on for that much longer because he has a decent level of responsibility at his job and she is pretty intense about her school and work. the next day, they’re officially dating. i’m shocked, her roommate is shocked, and our concern is getting higher. but she does have a tendency to get into relationships quickly, especially after having sex with the person, so we weakly chalk it up to her respecting her values and him being a pretty sweet guy. by this point we’ve noticed this guy is really clingy and intense, doesn’t share tons of values with our friend, and i’m generally getting skeeved out by him. her roommates sister wanted to go clubbing for her birthday, and it would’ve been her first time going out like that, so she only wanted trusted people to join. so our friend let the guy know that he couldn’t join us, and that she would go to his place after. i end up not being able to go because of work, so they go, and within the hour the guy is at the club. it’s unclear if she invited him or if he invited himself, but that was not part of the plan. they ended up leaving shortly after because the roommates bf got a bloody nose and the bouncers thought he was on something, and he got himself kicked out.
the next day, there was a protest going on near their place because they live on a campus, and i was going to head over to study with the roommate, which is something we do a lot. the protest gets intense, and we end up wanting to go, but while i’m driving over her roommate texts me that he’s heading over there because he saw something going down and was bringing a first aid kit and water. i called our friend at this point, because i was worried about her roommate, and she was still at this guys house. the protest was also something she felt passionately about, and in combination with mine and her concern about her roommate she wanted to show up and help out as well. her boyfriend convinced her not to, and tried to get me to tell her to stay with him as well, and he was generally being weird about her leaving without him. that set off alarms in my brain but i saved it for later because of the kind of pressing situation. it all goes fine and we make it back to their place safely, and work on our schoolwork. our friend comes home the next day, and her boyfriend had gone to work. she had classes and then work, so we didn’t see much of her.
i stayed over for that day and ended up sleeping over again because thats kind of just normal for us, but when she comes home from work her boyfriend is with her. he picked her up from work. at this point me and her roommate have been talking about this, and shared our concerns with each other, and were planning to talk to her about it when she got home. that plan was out the window. her roommate is also getting very fed up with an essential stranger being in their space for the amount of time he has, and it’s creating a lot of tension. i leave early again, as i’m uncomfortable with men generally. the next time i head over is a couple days later, and he is still there. at the very least they’re both going to work and my friend is going to her classes, but all of her free time he is around for.
at this point, my friend is also getting exhausted with being around him all of the time, and they’re trying to work out when to spend some time apart. then she tells us that at the end of the month she’s going to a different province with him for a 10 day trip. at this point they’ve only known each other for a week, so we make up a bad excuse to drag her outside and talk. she basically implies we’re being too weird about her going on this trip and to leave it, but then agrees to a couple safety measures, including an itinerary. at this time, her roommate had also seen our friends boyfriend acting stranger when i’m there, being skittish about me coming over, and generally showing discomfort around me. i’m a pretty blunt person, and i have a horribly dry sense of humour so people can misconstrue things i say really easily, but i’ve been generally nice to him.
so we’re all sitting down, i’m writing down the itinerary as they’re taking it through, and then i type up a very generously flexible schedule so that we know where they are just in case. by now, there has also not been a day where they haven’t smoked a joint together every hour. so they both (presumably) have been high since the 6th. he says to add him on snapchat so we can make a group chat to coordinate everything, and make sure we’re all on the same page. when i go to add him, it said that i had previously blocked him.
i get an awful feeling about this guy now, and it’s overwhelming, because i only block people for very specific reasons, everyone else i just unadd. i have no way of figuring out how exactly i know him, because even on the downloadable data files from snapchat our previous conversations are not available because i had blocked him. me and her roommate to outside to talk, and her bf is getting increasingly clingy. we decide we have to talk to her, and have him go home for at least a day or two the next morning, because it was already around 1am. he didn’t want her to join us outside either, which i think is strange. her boyfriend ended up ~getting a call~ that is uncle is dying, on the same night he was meant to go home and chill away from our friend for a while. he ends up staying because she’s worried he may hurt himself (unclear if he directly said this or not)

This is becoming more and more frustrating! I'm normally pretty free during the day to talk, because I'm self employed and set my own deadlines and hours. But every once and a while I just need to focus on my work and not talk to anyone. I have a friend that will blow up my phone about "how I secretly hate him" and "he's going to go cry because he has no one to entertain him now". It's over Snapchat so if I look what he's texting me, he can see I've read it. With everyone else, I can read what they've said, not respond for a while, and once I have a minute get back to them without any issues.
I know he's joking and he's said that, but it doesn't stop! I've asked him to knock it off because him blowing up my phone when I've told him I won't be able to answer him for a few hours is very rude and frustrating. This is definitely a me problem and I admit it, if I have a notification on my phone, I have to check it or I get anxious. I also have a lot of family issues going on right now and need to have my phone by me in case something happens.
