Questions about stat decs and de facto
Hello! I have a few questions. Me (Aussie citizen) and parter (UK on WHV in aus) are in the process of collecting our documents for 820 application.
Question 1: do stat decs need to be less than 6 weeks old when submitted in the application? - we have one from our old boss stating that we lived together in work accommodation but it’s from September 2023 signed by a local nurse and we are applying in September 2024- so it’s a year old. Is that okay, or does he need to do a new one just before we apply?
Question 2: how can we prove we live together other than just stat dec from company manageowner? - We both live on an island (in a couple room together) through work accommodation for over 12 months. We don’t pay bills only rent that comes out of our individual payslips. Due to the nature of the place we live, postal service was not available in the first 6months so we did not list it as our address and instead both got stuff sent to my parents house (which we could collect when we visited them). Once postal services commenced we got mail to the island again. Long story short- we’ve both received mail to the same address but to different addresses at different times that doesn’t match up with where we were living. I’m just worried this is confusing and I don’t know how to explain it to a case officer but we really need the mail as proof of shared residency. My drivers license and passport has my parents home address which doesn’t help either. How else can we prove we live together without lease or bills? I love our lifestyle but it’s not normal so much harder to prove
Question 3: did you write your statements (say for nature of household or commitment etc) on a stat dec? It doesn’t really have much room on the paper to write details? Do u type it directly into text box on the application or just all attachments formatted as a ‘presentation’ of sorts with photos and highlighting?
Question 4: can we apply for a double grant? Defacto start date 30 Jan 2023, so been living together for 20 months. I know the requirement is 3 years but it’s discretionary? Could we ask nicely in the cover letter? Or is that ridiculous

This is my story of how a website named JPNDate Idols scammed me out of 4000 American dollars. First, I was on Japan Cupid, a dating site. On Japan Cupid, no one can chat unless one of you has a membership. I bought a 1-week membership. Within 5 minutes to 10 minutes, a woman nicknamed Yomi from Japan messaged me; this should have been a red flag for me. We talked for a while. She said she was interested in me. She asked me if I could move over to the dating site JPNDate because she paid for membership there and not Japan Cupid. She also promised to delete her account on Japan Cupid after we changed sites. She does delete her account off Japan Cupid. Unlike a normal scam artist, who may only have 1 or 2 photos, she has several photos on her profile. My trust in her grows a bit seeing that. She then privately messaged me several more photos of her. She asked me for some photos, which I sent. She then sends back happy and heartfelt emojis. She told me she doesn’t date Asian men anymore because they were violent to her in the past and her last boyfriend cheated on her. She talked about how she didn’t want to fight with me. She also said we could talk about any topic. She would compliment me often, as I did for her. Of course, on my profile page, I try to post my best pictures. Throughout my life, I have had many different hairstyles. She even mentioned this and got very happy and asked if I was a hairstylist. The spam of talking between us was from January 20th, 2024, to March 24th, 2024. On JPNDate, there is an upgrade system. You need Blue Diamond to chat with others. Crown to send videos. Blue Diamond is 20 dollars per month, and Crown is 80 dollars per month. I got the Blue Diamond membership at first. It showed her with it too. After a day or two, she asked me to upgrade like she did to the Crown membership so she could send me a video. I upgraded it, and she did actually send me a video. All pictures and the video match the same person and the same face. Some pictures were in different locations, and some were like three different pictures in the same place. We then later buy a 6-month Crown membership for each other because it is cheaper than 1 month at a time. I bought it for her, and she bought it for me. At this point, I start to believe. This person was giving me all their time. They reply very often, and their texting time was the same as Japan timezones every single day. They spoke not only English but also Japanese almost fluently. However, they did let me know that they're still learning English and sometimes use a translator. She let me know that this website has something called a mall. This should have been red flag number 2. You pay 1 American dollar for each gold point. Paypal is the only thing that works. When we started dating, she said it was normal for couples in Japan to send each other gifts. It was a symbol of forever love in Japan, she claimed. As an American, I didn’t know if this was true. I googled it and couldn’t get a clear answer. She said whatever I bought her, she would buy me as well. She asked if I liked necklaces or charms. I said anything was fine. She wanted me to pick up a necklace. At first, she picked up a $1,000 necklace from the site mall and asked me. I said no; that's way too much money for that. She said how about a 300-dollar Jade Romance charm. She told me to get her white one; she would get me the green one. I questioned if she was legit. She started crying. She somehow convinced me at the time that she was legit again. I did buy it. A few weeks later, I did receive the overpriced Green Jade Romance love charm to my address from her. I never told her which day exactly my tracking information said it would come to my house, but I asked her, and her tracking date was the same week as mine. By the way something almost the same as this necklace is 12 dollars on Amazon. It also broke when I got it in the mail. Probably cost them 2 cent to make. For the next few days, we had a wonderful, happy conversation. It is late January, and I know Valentine's Day is coming. I offered to get her flowers. I got her flowers and chocolate at a very high price of multiple hundred dollars. She then gets so happy. She told me many times how she wanted to go to America and find me. We talked about many topics for several more days. She told me she worked in an office in Tokyo. Yomi told me her real name was Miyuki Miyamoto. Which is very funny because I told her before I was a Nintendo fan, and this is the same last name as Mario and Zelda Creator. She also said she had her apartment to herself, which is true; she does own an apartment. She talked about how life is stressful right now in Japan. She claimed to have grown up in the Japanese town of Nagano, Japan. She also said she had gone to a university in Tokyo with a major in computer science. She wanted to visit America in July for 15 days when she had her time off. July is a normal time for people to get off in Japan for vacation, so I thought nothing of it. I told her that I was from a smaller town in California, but I lived not far from San Francisco. I told her how my town is quiet and how I could see mountains outside my house. She said she wanted a peaceful life and that life in Tokyo is too fast. And she always had great things to say about every picture I sent. We also talk about going on dates. I asked most of the questions, but she did ask me questions as well. I started to ask her a lot of questions about Japan. Like if she visited Himeji Castle, she said no. However, I did say yes to visiting Mount Fuji. I should have asked for a photo of this, but I didn’t. She was very happy; she told me very many topics about Japan. We even briefly talked about anime. She told me she liked Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Detective Conan. This information is important later. We also talked about how both of us were big Disney fans growing up. One day she told me, how work was busy today. I told her it was okay and we didn’t need to talk today. She did, however, still text me a little bit that day. This was the only day during our whole time talking when she was super busy. There is nothing wrong with this; all humans get busy. I decided to spend my evening drawing a picture of me and Yomi on a date to surprise her. When I sent it to her, she did not react. This was a red flag for me. I tried to convince myself that she just didn’t like drawings that much. I know I sound really dumb right here, but whoever I was talking to is very smart and knows a lot of things. We started talking a few days later about the idea of meeting and going on dates together. I know that the yen is weak against the American dollar right now. I told them I would pay for anything they wanted when they were in America because I was in love. This was a big, big, big mistake. They then asked if I could give them 1500 dollars to buy a plane ticket. Never give money to people you never meet in real life, folks. Don’t be dumb like me. Turns out the ticket was actually 2100, so they asked for another 500 dollars the next day, claiming their friend let them borrow the money, and they paid the difference. They did show me a picture of a plane ticket. With the name Yomi and the correct airports in Tokyo and San Francisco. This gave me more trust in them; I got a lot of photos, videos, and even a picture of a plane ticket. At some point, I talked to them about social media. They claim to only have Skype and Line. I found it very hard to believe a woman in her 20s wasn’t on Instagram or Tik Tok. I went on Instagram and typed Yomi, and I found a Yomi who looked just like her. This made me think: why did she lie? What confused me is that all the pictures on her Instagram were different from the ones she sent me, other than one image that was the same. Meaning that the images were not clearly stolen from there. I looked up JPNDate online; there isn’t much info on this website (Right Now), other than one reddit forum from 1 year ago. Someone said something about being scammed by an IDOL on this site. They also said the website wasn’t in Japan but in China. I was wondering why I never saw new females joining the website; it was the same 23 pages worth of them. I wanted to test the website to see if it was legit. I made another account, a fake male account with AI artwork. It was approved in one second. I then made a fake female account; it said pending approval. It has now been 2 weeks since I made that account, and it still says pending approval. This means all the women on this website have to be fake actors. There is also a setting on JPNDate to see who has been online last or which accounts are the oldest. When I asked weeks before, Yomi claimed she had been on this website only for a short time. Her oldest picture was dated October 20, 2023. Yet she has the sixth-oldest account on JPNDate, according to the website. The reddit forum I talked about before was over a year old. When I was on this website for a month, at least 10 other women tried to text me. There was this one profile of a woman from Taiwan, age 20. She texted me three times in one month. When I joined, her age was listed as 20, and at some point, she changed her age to 25 on her profile. I ignored all these women. This proves again that all these women are fake. I do think they are women based on how they type, but they are not truthful like they act like they are. As I write this, I just realized this is Yomi's sister; it matches the other Yomi account's sister tag. I knew this website wasn’t telling the truth. I found the JPNDate IP address and tracked it to a server in Hong Kong, China, hosted by Alibaba cloud servers. Reddit was right; the website is Chinese. I took pictures of the website code just in case. I asked Yomi if she knew Alibaba. Then she asked if I’m going to China—a very strange follow-up question. At this point, I was confused. Who is Yomi? I couldn’t find anything about Miyuki Miyamoto, only Yomi. On Yomi Instagram, she speaks Chinese, not Japanese. I started to think there are no Japanese women on this website like they claim to be. She does speak Japanese, though. I started using more than 10 different software programs to track who Yomi was. I found like 1000 pictures of an idol, WeChat model, singer, dancer, person on endless Chinese dating sites, and a valiant professional gamer part of the AI’U agency for over 8 years. I found two other Instagram accounts with Yomi's face. Another account in Chinese with an idol name other than Yomi also had a Facebook page. The Chinese account has a post about her going to Australia in early 2024, where she is typing in English words. I also found an account where she speaks only Korean on Instagram. I also found a tik-tok where someone dances and looks 100% the same as Yomi, to whom I’m talking. The part that is crazy is that none of the images are 100% the same, but the person is the same in all of them. This shocked me; I follow all the accounts. I saw the stories daily to see who this person was. Her Yomi account is just her normal pictures and atm company or something. Her Korean account is about traveling to Singapore, Spain, and South Korea. She also posts a lot about Disney toys here. When I talked to the scammer about Disney, I had no idea about this. At this point, I knew that many men had been scammed out of money for fake love, not just me. These women are real women. However, there are actors pretending to be in love. They will crush your heart and call you names after a few weeks if you don’t buy their stuff. It has to be from JPNdate Mall only, nowhere else. JPNdate Mall prices are crazy high. I am not sure if the point of the website is just for money or if it is actually for women to study English or what. Chinese women, pretending to be Japanese (most of them), that have connections to Korean music and gaming on professional teams. Man, what a hell of a story this is. This sounds like a Hollywood movie, but it's real, or at least partly. At this point, everything I say seems to be true based on what I know. Yomi told me early on that she had one older sister and one younger brother. It seems like she is actually a twin, and she is the younger sister. Yomi claims to be 25, but I think she is closer to 27 or 28 based on finding a listing of her work in 2015 at Twitch Gaming. You have to be 18 or older to work at Twitch gaming, unless your parents sign things. When I showed the pictures I found to Yomi on JPNdate, she played the victim card on me. Saying she thinks I’m a liar and she wants to break up. Then she gave me her Skype account to try to prove it was legit, and all the other images and accounts were stolen and fake. Her Skype name is Rose, with a One Piece picture. She sent me many voice clips, crying, trying to convince me that she was real. I put them in software, and the voice was 30% human, 70% AI. Clearly, a woman is changing her Chinese or Korean voice to sound Japanese. A PC gamer would know how to do this; they do it all the time to troll. Yomi told me she didn’t play video games anymore, but I found a picture that wasn’t that old of a woman who looked the same as her; she had a Nintendo Switch with a white OLED in it. Btw it’s a known fact that Yomi uses software to cheat in the Pc FPS games. I can’t let Yomi, her sister, and her idol friends scam men for their time and money. Yomi Chiense's name is Vera Yuanxin (维拉). Her twin sister goes by veravera_zhangg. Yomi “deleted her profile” when I exposed her. But Yomi is still there with no pictures. Two they clearly have other accounts with people who look like she just changed hairstyle, talking and trying to scam other men. Remember when I said the anime part was important? On Yomi's Korean account, she has a friend with whom she talks about Digimon. She gave him a Disney toy. She told me she wanted to cosplay a fox; his profile is a fox. There is just so much proof that these are the same people. Later someone hit me up on Reddit from the Phillippines and told me how the same person Yomi scammed them. How for months Yomi promise them so many things. Then when they said it came to going on the plane to visit him they said they were sick or dying or something. Yomi also made a fake Instagram pretending to be Joe Biden and sent me a friend invite. I messaged and it was so funny how bad it was on their part. I said “Yomi are you trolling me?” then they deleted their account. This was on April 6th, 2024. Yomi tries so hard but use a lot of cheap things that are clearly fake like ai artwork, bots for like at ai_u agency, and fake profiles where she comments herself and attacks anyone who calls her out fairly. After exposing Jpndate they Ip ban my address lol. Then on social media joke about attacking me. If you call out their BS they threaten your family and yourself. Just stay away from all these sites if you're going to date online use well-known legit sites. As said in the title, I've finally finished going through all the boys in TDL S3! Though I didn't aim for best ending or anything, I just wanted to see how it would go for each one. (I'm not sure if the photos will post, so apologies if this post will be wonky!) I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, so here's a silly happy rant :) (Hope I flaired this correctly! This is just really me rambling, but very happily lol)
WARNING: Very long! Will also contain spoilers!!
Chayun is... SO so cute. There's something really mature and cool about him, you know he can take care of you, and you can't help but be charmed. He's not overly affectionate, but also unafraid to show his feelings. He doesn't play any games (unlike SOME people out there...) and is mostly honest.
My favorite thing about him is how much of a simp he is for Seul. This is the guy whose forbidden word was her name because of how much he said it. This is the guy who unknowingly broke another girl's heart because he can't stop mentioning Seul. Ugh. How do I get a Chayun?
I also don't know why and how, but even when I was aiming for the other guys (and following the guides), he STILL keeps choosing Seul. I thought it was just programmed for him to do so, but I've seen posts where he chose Eunchae, so...? Maybe I just never got over my first love and unconsciously made him feel like Seul still likes him. Ha!
Speaking of first loves...
Unfortunately, I 1) didn't have enough gold for all the gifts and 2) couldn't keep up with the timing, so I spent less time with him I guess? I missed the Wicka date with him as well as the cocktail bar. But I won every game and even went on a last date with him (which I didn't get to do with Chayun), so I thought, maybe I'll get the normal ending!
WRONG! Fellas, don't go for someone whose first love is still in the picture. Or, if you do, make sure you have enough gold to control everything. EME!
Gonghyun is really considerate and nice, he gives off major "gwapo" vibes, and he would have ticked all the boxes for "green flag of the year". But he also gives off the vibe of someone I could never fall for completely, like if someone asked me for boyfriend recommendations I would mention him, but if someone asked me if I had a crush on him I'd say no.
Or maybe I'm still bitter over not being chosen. Oh well! I don't choose what doesn't choose me, so.
When I first encountered him during Chayun's route, my eyes went all O_O and I was like, "OMG, ATEEZ Choi San what are you doing here?!". That's literally the same name except for the "ho"! He's polite and mature and RELIABLE! Brains and brawn! Cute and younger-brother-like!
And while he's reliable, I want to take care of HIM instead of the other way around. He's consistently sweet, and while he seems innocent, there's a certain depth to how he speaks that shows his introspection. He's honest and earnest, and I really loved how formal he was lol he's definitely my pick for most charming TDL3 man.
My favorite part? Ironically, it was when I was on Chayun's route. I got Sanho for the snowball date, and at that time I was unsure over Chayun because he felt really cold to me. Sanho contrasted that perfectly by being so sweet and warm. "Warm as the sun," indeed.
Another favorite moment was when he carried Gonghyun during their ski trip! I wished there was a way for Seul to join their trip, but I guess that's predetermined. Oh, maybe I didn't really want Gonghyun... I wanted to BE Gonghyun....
Sanho's route was so lovely that I lowkey dreaded (/lh) the next and final one...
At this point, I was getting sick of TDL3, so I decided to try out TDL1. Considering that Jooyul (who I wasn't aiming for in the beginning but eventually liked) and Seowoo were same-age friends with the main character, I thought, "ah this will be more easy-going".
I was wrong. This was the most annoying, most insufferable, and spiciest route. Also I got the bad ending for Jooyul, so I guess easy-going routes just aren't for me.
Seowoo... Like Jeewan said, our cranky boy. He's so in love, but he doesn't want to admit it. Feel free to correct me, but he's always strikes me as someone who loves so deeply that it scares him, that's why he's always pushing Seul away. The weird thing is that the more he does it, the more I keep wanting to choose him? Because I am SURE he likes Seul, he just has to be convinced that Seul will keep choosing him until the end. (Which Sanho also was, but he was more straightforward about it.)
I was slightly enamored with the whole thing about Eunchae. Like, of COURSE they'd have such an agreement. Before this, I was really rooting for the two of them because the pairing was so weird. In local terms, there's the OA (Eunchae) and the nonchalant (Seowoo).
But I am on his route, so he's mine this time, and he WILL get sick of me!!!
My favorite part was, well, everything. At least, all the dates. He's so annoying and endearing that I have to spend a few minutes ranting into the chat after it's been deactivated. Can the creators see the messages I sent? I apologize for all the swear words. Nakakabwiset naman kasi talaga yang si Kim Seowoo parang tanga!! I would be swearing like this throughout and then he sends a heart and BOOM TIKLOP.
I wish his ending had him returning to Seul's house, like what Chayun did in their NORMAL ending. I get that he's shy about the song, but maybe Seul's final decision could have convinced him that Seul is safe enough for him to fall completely for? Well... I guess this is what fanfiction is for. Heh!
Sanho and Seowoo would be a funny ship, lol. Seowoo being his usual cranky, pakipot self, and Sanho surprising him by being all firm and assertive.
Chayun and Gonghyun... Our knights and nobles... An unlikely pairing, but they're so similar that they might work??
Gonghyun is freaking hilarious. He keeps choosing Seul when I DON'T pick him. Baliw.
I think I was meant to find this game, because the characteristics of my ideal type were found in each of the love interests, so every route was fun. I started with someone who can only look at me, and ended with someone who wrote a song about me - two things that will surely make my heart flutter in real life. I only just realized these things while playing, so I guess it was an eye-opener too!
Now, I will be taking a break from all things TDL until I save up enough gold to open a slot to save Seowoo's ending. I am too lazy to do the extra tasks and too poor to actually buy it. In the meantime, I'm playing Friends Booth and thinking of which boy to target next in TDL1. I want to try for Euntae, but I am so sad about Jooyul's outcome that I want to redo his route, and this time with the guide (I tried following my instinct, as with Chayun). Sigh! Maybe I'll just go with Doha for the funsies.

- ROUND 1: Chayun (Normal ending)
Chayun is... SO so cute. There's something really mature and cool about him, you know he can take care of you, and you can't help but be charmed. He's not overly affectionate, but also unafraid to show his feelings. He doesn't play any games (unlike SOME people out there...) and is mostly honest.
My favorite thing about him is how much of a simp he is for Seul. This is the guy whose forbidden word was her name because of how much he said it. This is the guy who unknowingly broke another girl's heart because he can't stop mentioning Seul. Ugh. How do I get a Chayun?
I also don't know why and how, but even when I was aiming for the other guys (and following the guides), he STILL keeps choosing Seul. I thought it was just programmed for him to do so, but I've seen posts where he chose Eunchae, so...? Maybe I just never got over my first love and unconsciously made him feel like Seul still likes him. Ha!
Speaking of first loves...
- ROUND 2: Gonghyun (Bad ending)
Unfortunately, I 1) didn't have enough gold for all the gifts and 2) couldn't keep up with the timing, so I spent less time with him I guess? I missed the Wicka date with him as well as the cocktail bar. But I won every game and even went on a last date with him (which I didn't get to do with Chayun), so I thought, maybe I'll get the normal ending!
WRONG! Fellas, don't go for someone whose first love is still in the picture. Or, if you do, make sure you have enough gold to control everything. EME!
Gonghyun is really considerate and nice, he gives off major "gwapo" vibes, and he would have ticked all the boxes for "green flag of the year". But he also gives off the vibe of someone I could never fall for completely, like if someone asked me for boyfriend recommendations I would mention him, but if someone asked me if I had a crush on him I'd say no.
Or maybe I'm still bitter over not being chosen. Oh well! I don't choose what doesn't choose me, so.
- ROUND 3: Sanho (Normal ending)
When I first encountered him during Chayun's route, my eyes went all O_O and I was like, "OMG, ATEEZ Choi San what are you doing here?!". That's literally the same name except for the "ho"! He's polite and mature and RELIABLE! Brains and brawn! Cute and younger-brother-like!
And while he's reliable, I want to take care of HIM instead of the other way around. He's consistently sweet, and while he seems innocent, there's a certain depth to how he speaks that shows his introspection. He's honest and earnest, and I really loved how formal he was lol he's definitely my pick for most charming TDL3 man.
My favorite part? Ironically, it was when I was on Chayun's route. I got Sanho for the snowball date, and at that time I was unsure over Chayun because he felt really cold to me. Sanho contrasted that perfectly by being so sweet and warm. "Warm as the sun," indeed.
Another favorite moment was when he carried Gonghyun during their ski trip! I wished there was a way for Seul to join their trip, but I guess that's predetermined. Oh, maybe I didn't really want Gonghyun... I wanted to BE Gonghyun....
Sanho's route was so lovely that I lowkey dreaded (/lh) the next and final one...
- ROUND 4: Seowoo (Best ending) (WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT?!?!?!?)
At this point, I was getting sick of TDL3, so I decided to try out TDL1. Considering that Jooyul (who I wasn't aiming for in the beginning but eventually liked) and Seowoo were same-age friends with the main character, I thought, "ah this will be more easy-going".
I was wrong. This was the most annoying, most insufferable, and spiciest route. Also I got the bad ending for Jooyul, so I guess easy-going routes just aren't for me.
Seowoo... Like Jeewan said, our cranky boy. He's so in love, but he doesn't want to admit it. Feel free to correct me, but he's always strikes me as someone who loves so deeply that it scares him, that's why he's always pushing Seul away. The weird thing is that the more he does it, the more I keep wanting to choose him? Because I am SURE he likes Seul, he just has to be convinced that Seul will keep choosing him until the end. (Which Sanho also was, but he was more straightforward about it.)
I was slightly enamored with the whole thing about Eunchae. Like, of COURSE they'd have such an agreement. Before this, I was really rooting for the two of them because the pairing was so weird. In local terms, there's the OA (Eunchae) and the nonchalant (Seowoo).
But I am on his route, so he's mine this time, and he WILL get sick of me!!!
My favorite part was, well, everything. At least, all the dates. He's so annoying and endearing that I have to spend a few minutes ranting into the chat after it's been deactivated. Can the creators see the messages I sent? I apologize for all the swear words. Nakakabwiset naman kasi talaga yang si Kim Seowoo parang tanga!! I would be swearing like this throughout and then he sends a heart and BOOM TIKLOP.
I wish his ending had him returning to Seul's house, like what Chayun did in their NORMAL ending. I get that he's shy about the song, but maybe Seul's final decision could have convinced him that Seul is safe enough for him to fall completely for? Well... I guess this is what fanfiction is for. Heh!
- Additional thoughts
Sanho and Seowoo would be a funny ship, lol. Seowoo being his usual cranky, pakipot self, and Sanho surprising him by being all firm and assertive.
Chayun and Gonghyun... Our knights and nobles... An unlikely pairing, but they're so similar that they might work??
Gonghyun is freaking hilarious. He keeps choosing Seul when I DON'T pick him. Baliw.
I think I was meant to find this game, because the characteristics of my ideal type were found in each of the love interests, so every route was fun. I started with someone who can only look at me, and ended with someone who wrote a song about me - two things that will surely make my heart flutter in real life. I only just realized these things while playing, so I guess it was an eye-opener too!
Now, I will be taking a break from all things TDL until I save up enough gold to open a slot to save Seowoo's ending. I am too lazy to do the extra tasks and too poor to actually buy it. In the meantime, I'm playing Friends Booth and thinking of which boy to target next in TDL1. I want to try for Euntae, but I am so sad about Jooyul's outcome that I want to redo his route, and this time with the guide (I tried following my instinct, as with Chayun). Sigh! Maybe I'll just go with Doha for the funsies.

The famous baseballer, Jackie Robinson, he once said: “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” I could not agree more. That is why I try to make as much impact on my faces’ lives as possible. After all, they have done so much for me. It is the least I can do. Unlike them, I need not fear what people think of me. So I can be brave where they are weak. For I will just be someone else tomorrow.
He'd move to America and use his talents to pull off high-scale burglary, working for any group that could afford his fee, including the Communist party, Hydra or the Green Goblin. His elicit activity brought him into conflict with the Hulk, Iron Man and most often Spider-Man, all of whom had to act with great caution when the Chameleon was in town. After all, which one of them could tell if that unassuming civilian or their own ally was preparing to stab them in the back?
Dmitri has some mental hangups over his time with the Kravinoffs. He’s managed to repress the memories and considered himself good friends with his half-brother Kraven. In reality, he was more like a whipping boy and slave to the Hunter, and when he has to wrestle with those feelings, he can mentally revert to that scared little boy with no strong sense of identity or independence. But when he’s able to move past these feelings, the Chameleon has proved himself as a powerful, manipulative force, finding his place as temporary Crime Master of New York and member of the Sinister Six.
Notes
During one of Dmitri’s mental breaks, he began to believe that he was his deceased half-brother, Kraven the Hunter. So exact was the Chameleon’s performance that he moved and fought with the hunter’s skill and agility. This was an extreme fringe case and there are no other examples of a disguise altering Chameleon's capabilities like this. Physical and skill-related feats from this period will be marked with [KH].

- After getting one quick glance at Thunderbolt Ross, the Chameleon is able to make a perfect mask of the general’s face in a matter of minutes
- When the Hulk is tearing the Chameleon’s car apart, he quickly changes into the guise of Rick Jones to calm the Hulk, then manipulate him into breaking a friend out of prison

- After coming across a cave full of assorted scrap mechanics, Chameleon builds a missile from the pieces. He later says he “found” the missile, so who knows. At any rate, the missile is strong enough to KO the Hulk when they collide.
- One time, he inexplicably escaped from Spider-Man’s grasp and disappeared from the room
- He kidnaps Spider-Man and imprisons him in Ravencroft Asylum. He then unmasks the hero, puts a realistic mask and straightjacket on him and attempts to gaslight Peter, through the use of psychoactive drugs and fabricated evidence, into believing he’s another man named Herbert Smith. This ruse does convince Peter for a good while until he later remembers his life with Mary Jane.
- He implies that he might be able to disguise his psyche from the telepathic X-Men member, No-Girl, although the claim is not actually proven
- Off-panel, he killed a man, cut off his face and used it for a temporary mask

Hello! I have a few questions. Me (Aussie citizen) and parter (UK on WHV in aus) are in the process of collecting our documents for 820 application.
Question 1: do stat decs need to be less than 6 weeks old when submitted in the application? - we have one from our old boss stating that we lived together in work accommodation but it’s from September 2023 signed by a local nurse and we are applying in September 2024- so it’s a year old. Is that okay, or does he need to do a new one just before we apply?
Question 2: how can we prove we live together other than just stat dec from company manageowner? - We both live on an island (in a couple room together) through work accommodation for over 12 months. We don’t pay bills only rent that comes out of our individual payslips. Due to the nature of the place we live, postal service was not available in the first 6months so we did not list it as our address and instead both got stuff sent to my parents house (which we could collect when we visited them). Once postal services commenced we got mail to the island again. Long story short- we’ve both received mail to the same address but to different addresses at different times that doesn’t match up with where we were living. I’m just worried this is confusing and I don’t know how to explain it to a case officer but we really need the mail as proof of shared residency. My drivers license and passport has my parents home address which doesn’t help either. How else can we prove we live together without lease or bills? I love our lifestyle but it’s not normal so much harder to prove
Question 3: did you write your statements (say for nature of household or commitment etc) on a stat dec? It doesn’t really have much room on the paper to write details? Do u type it directly into text box on the application or just all attachments formatted as a ‘presentation’ of sorts with photos and highlighting?
Question 4: can we apply for a double grant? Defacto start date 30 Jan 2023, so been living together for 20 months. I know the requirement is 3 years but it’s discretionary? Could we ask nicely in the cover letter? Or is that ridiculous

2024.05.16 14:46 Timely-Worldliness-3 I’m starting to resent my ex after the fact and I hate it
If you want, you can see my previous very long post about our breakup for more details (this one will also probably be pretty long tbh). These are supposed to be writing exercises for my therapist. Everyone’s comments along with a few therapy sessions made me realize how one sided our relationship was. I’ve been in much longer and more committed relationships than this one, and had much worse breakups all things considered. But I’ve never felt like this. I know that grief isn’t a linear process. It comes in waves. However, I’ve always prided myself on being calm and collected even in the worst of times. I managed to hold it together pretty well when I lost my dad a year and a half ago, and worked through that in a healthy way. Why can’t I do that now? It’s been a month and a half. This should be so much smaller in the grand scheme of things.
I saw her yesterday at the grocery store, we were using self checkouts right next to each other. We ended up basically walking out together. I think she noticed me and just tried to pretend I didn’t exist. I immediately felt sick to my stomach, with this mix of deep sadness and anger. It took everything I had not to fall apart right then and there. I couldn’t eat dinner, and still managed to puke when I got home and then again in the middle of the night after waking up from a dream about us.
A realization that I had after my last post is how little she would compromise on things. A few of you that said that I was a doormat, and you’re right. I somehow let so many things slip that I shouldn’t have. It was her first serious relationship, she wasn’t used to having to compromise much. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She asked so much of me, maybe too much, and I gave to her maybe too freely. But the few times that I asked things of her, she’d almost always say no.
I wanted to watch Home Alone over Christmas. It was a tradition that I shared with my dad, some of my earliest memories are about that. I wanted to continue that tradition and I couldn’t bring myself to do it alone, so I asked her to watch it with me. I explained how important it was. She refused, time after time, every stay at home date we had between Thanksgiving and New Years. She went on rants about how traditions are stupid, and how she hates movies about kids (yet we watched the Harry Potter movies at her request, the first few are made by the same people that made Home Alone). It’s like she didn’t even hear me asking for support when I needed her, she only heard that I was asking her to put up with something she didn’t like for an hour and a half. On the other hand, I never said no to her.
This played out time and time again, in small and big ways. My mom was going to give us the money for our dream vacation to Ireland. All she wanted in return was a nice picture of us in front of something recognizably Irish, a castle or something. She was doing this incredibly nice thing for us, and just asked for that one thing. She just wanted to see me happy, traveling the world with the person I love, after having to give up the last 4 years of my life dealing with my dad’s illness (along with losing all of my grandparents and 2 uncles in the same timeframe) But my ex didn’t like having her picture taken. She would put up with it for friends and family, but if I asked her? Never. We have 3 pictures together, all of which are shitty group photos with her friends. Can’t even tell we were a couple.
Then there’s the big thing that led to our breakup. She wanted me to anticipate her needs without her needing to say them. She hated when I asked how best to help her when she was struggling and overwhelmed, saying that I needed to show initiative. She talked a lot about “mental loads” and such. I tried to support her as much as possible (often doing too much, as many of you said), but sometimes I’d miss the mark. She’d get so frustrated with me, and we’d sit down and talk things out. She’d tell me all of these things she needed from me, and I genuinely put in so much effort trying to work on it.
The only thing that I asked for in return is if I missed the mark, to please guide me to what she needed. I did it all the time for her, she was honestly awful at supporting me. If I was venting, had a bad day, all she’d say was “I’m sorry”, and pat me on the back like a puppy. No effort to dig deeper. No words of support or encouragement. Not even a kiss or a hug. I had to show her how I needed support. I never got mad or frustrated, I recognized this was something we had to communicate about and it was my job to open that communication.
So when we’d have those conversations about how she needed support, and she was asking all of these things of me that felt like mind reading, all I asked of her was to do what I did when she missed the mark. Just that one little thing to save our relationship. It was nothing compared to what she was asking from me, and it was for her own benefit. I put in the work, got us 80% of the way there. I knew I couldn’t bridge the gap on my own. I begged her time and time again. But instead of listening and guiding me to what she needed, she did the exact opposite. Full silent treatment at the very first text of support from me because she wanted something more/different.
That refusal to compromise ruined everything. I know anger is part of the stages of grief, but I’m just so angry all the time. I know you can’t tell based off of what was said here and in my other post, she is genuinely a great person. She didn’t do any of this maliciously. I don’t believe that she’s evil. But I can’t help but to look at all the work I put in vs all the work that she put in, after being told that I wasn’t doing enough while she was putting more effort into the relationship. I’m sorry, but I don’t see that effort from her. I don’t even know if I’m more angry at her or myself. Should have I been more proactive? Enforced stronger boundaries? Been more clear in what I needed from her? I don’t know. Maybe I am just a doormat. I just know that I hate feeling like this. I don’t want to be that guy that’s angry and bitter about their ex, and I’m terrified that’s exactly what I’m becoming.

I saw her yesterday at the grocery store, we were using self checkouts right next to each other. We ended up basically walking out together. I think she noticed me and just tried to pretend I didn’t exist. I immediately felt sick to my stomach, with this mix of deep sadness and anger. It took everything I had not to fall apart right then and there. I couldn’t eat dinner, and still managed to puke when I got home and then again in the middle of the night after waking up from a dream about us.
A realization that I had after my last post is how little she would compromise on things. A few of you that said that I was a doormat, and you’re right. I somehow let so many things slip that I shouldn’t have. It was her first serious relationship, she wasn’t used to having to compromise much. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. My wife was born with a metabolic disease and has fibermialga. We bought a home in DE not long after having our daughter. Once we moved into our home my wife has been rather abusive to the both of us. She dosent harm me physically(not intentionally)but will always randomly snap and start screaming or try putting me down. Holding that the mortgage of the house is in her name and she makes more money then I. I've been in a abusive relationship before and safely got out but this time with a child in the picture I keep trying to make things work. For our daughter its been much worse. Their's been a hand full of times, she looses control and it wont just be screaming. I usually can prevent physical harm and deescalate the situation by stepping in but not always. She would be yelling at her to a point of a panic attack needing me to calm our daughter down after stepping in. With my wife trying to smear saying "our daughter is acting like a little psycho". I always feared how much worse it must be when I'm not around. It came to a point a few years ago my mother had to pull me aside in suspecting my daughter and I were being abused. I was scared and tried to play it down and would talk to my wife. After trying to do so my wife admitted to having anger issues and would be willing to seek help. Even after a anger management class she still blows up constantly. This has been going on till the most recent incident Feb 4th of this year. My wife and daughter started having a screaming match leading to my wife slapping our daughter across the face. I ran to the room to extinguish the situation with our daughter running to me to calm them down. My wife quickly apologized crying, playing it down to not call the cops. Reassuring everything is okay and she wouldnt do it again brining up how it reminded her of how her mother used to treat her. I was in such shock of what I witnessed I just let it slide in fear of the situation escalating again.Its been a few months now it this still eats at me making me feel physically ill around my wife. She hasent been violent(what i know of) since, but still has been loosing her temper. I don't like leaving the two of them home alone. I tend to walk into the house after work to them arguing. Ive tried talking to her about how I feel but she plays it down and cries to make me feel bad for confronting her and says she will try to be more calm, its not her fault, her mother was mean to her too in the oast and dosent want to be like her.
I don't know what to do or how to get out. We have a joint bank account, living pay check to pay check with not much in savings. I don't really have a place to go either. My parents live a town over and will be moving out of state in a month. They're also already accompanied by my older brother his wife, and also my younger sister living with them. So space would be hard for the two of us. What should I do? Is it to late to press any kind of charges? Do I have to wait for another incident to get evidence, since this would be just my daughter's and I word? How do I report abuse? Would it be possible to have full custody? I have so many questions.... I'm just lost and feel trapped.I posed this in LegalAdvice a few days ago but only got a comment to speak with a lawyer maybe and didnt know anything to really help.

I am naturally a very indecisive person and I find myself in a bit of a situation now regarding my work options. Sorry this is long.
For a bit of a backstory, I (32F - living in a small tropical island)) have been working for a nearly 10 years now. I worked at Company A and it was great. I left after 6 years as they would not raise me. Joined Company B and it was a shitshow; i dealt with a lot of racism towards me and it ruined my self-esteem as a person and a designer for a long time. After a year, i went to Company C, thinking it was my big break as I would be a manager. Somehow, they ended up changing the scope of works without letting me know and expected me to go into Sales. I left and decided to start my own company and work freelance, which i was doing on an off while working full-time.
However, I had applied randomly for another job at Company D and they ended up making me an offer. I took it because it was one of the best and established companies here on the island and I needed to regain a bit of my designer confidence back. It was hustle culture as soon as i joined; no handing over of 4 main projects that i was expected to take over. I did it through migraines, tears, lots of unpaid overtime and stress. My mistake here was maybe not be vocal enough about how i was struggling.. As you can guess, my health suffered and I decided to resign from the job before i completed a full year although i loved the work itself and the experience was extremely valuable. Surprisingly, during my three months notice as per contract, i felt like i could handle the workload and stress much better and it made me rethink my decision.
Ultimately, I decided to leave nonetheless and was lucky to have 2 clients for whom i am working on a freelance basis currently. Now here am i, a month after having quit, working slowly as a freelancer. But, another Company E, contacted me since they have been wanting to work with me for a while now. My friend worked there for 5 years. He is also okay with me working part time at his but was very hot and cold during our conversations since February. My friend told me not to trust him but use him to my gain. So now i have the following options:
OPTION 1
Company D
Pros: Established firm since 25 years, high-end clients, great work experience, great colleagues. Having it on my Cv has already opened my networking.
OPTION 2
Company E
Pros: His company is 10 years old and he says he is ready to take it to the next level. I would be his right hand a bit to help him grow his business. Smaller company, less projects, projects are not so high-end so less time consuming, less stress overall.
OPTION 3
So I don't really know at this point. I have been thinking and thinking and thinking and I come up blank. I want to do it all and I don't want to do anything. So please, anyone if you can help, let me know your thoughts and advice!

My girlfriend has BPD, we've only been together for a month (sounds crazy to say out loud cause of this story tbh), and for the first two weeks it was amazing. She's super smart and beautiful and she would ask me tons of questions about myself. It always felt like she was doing everything she could to get to know me. We would spend tons of time together, and never fought or anything. Then we had a minor argument. After a few days of drama and very little talking (she was ignoring me), we made up. Despite making up, she doesn't want to see me, and only texts me. The texting was also very dry and she would ignore me for hours unless it was sexual. After a few days of this I told her I was bothered by it and that I thought she was avoiding me, to which she told me she was indeed avoiding me, and that because of BPD she goes through periods where she isolates herself away from everyone else and never wants to talk. I told her it was fine and that I still cared about her.
After that we didn't talk or text for two days, I had sent the last message, which was basically "I really care about you, I'm here if you want to talk". So at this point it's been about 5-7 days since we last did anything but text. Then out of the blue she deleted every photo she ever texted of herself to me (sexual and not sexual). I got mad and sent her a message that basically said I tried my best to be good and understanding with her but I'm not gonna be okay with her just leaving me with no explanation, and that it's not okay to treat people like that, so I blocked her on SC. From my point of view it seemed like she led me on for two weeks and then randomly cut me off with zero communication because of an insignificant argument. Two days later she texted my phone number for the first time ever, and apologized and said she did it because she thought she was using me, I was too good for her, she couldn't give me the commitment I desired, and that she felt guilty for using me as a rebound. I was kind of dumbfounded because I am constantly, in almost a pestering kind of way, telling her how much I enjoy spending time with her, how she's pretty, etc. I do not know if I even believe her fully, I'm not that amazing of a person at all, especially not compared to her.
We both apologized (in that last message I sent her before blocking I was pretty rude ngl) and made up. I thought this would be the end of the debacle, but she's apparently still isolating herself from everyone and our only form of interaction is texting. We will text for hours at a time, and even exchange photos, but she does not want to see or call me and will make up obviously fake excuses, that I usually just pretend to believe. I have brought it up and she says that it's not my fault it's hers, and if I want, she can carve out time to see me. The problem though, isn't that I don't get to see her, it's that it feels like she doesn't want to see or have anything to do with me. I don't want to see her if she's forcing herself to do it, the point is that we're both supposed to enjoy it. It's now been 2 out of the 4 weeks that we've been dating that I haven't seen her, and our only form of talking is through texting lol.
She's also still hanging out with her friends (who she's known way longer than me tbf) and I think tries to hide it, but I've never outright confronted her on it. If I ask her what she did in the day she'll tell me everything, and omit the hanging out with friends part, which I know is happening. Obviously, her socializing with her friends is great, but she tells me that the isolation has nothing to do with me, and that she just doesn't want to interact with anyone at all. She assures me it's just a phase, but it's extremely hard on me and I'm kind of losing it. I'm trying to make this work, because I felt we were very compatible, but I'm starting to lose faith that she cares about me at all.

It seems like she likes me because of how she texts with me, and tells me that she really appreciates how I treat her, but I can't imagine liking someone that much and not wanting to see them for 2 fucking weeks (and still counting. I have no idea what to do. Every time I bring it up she just says sorry and that she has BPD and chronic depression and it's not my fault, then I feel bad and apologize for bringing it up lol.
Typing this out made me realize that this is ridiculous and there's no way it's gonna work. My lord what a wreck. The switch up was wild, I've never had someone go from wanting to spend hours alone with me everyday to just nothing. So, my sister moved out to Utah to go to college. She ended up getting married and has three kids. Great kids. Good husband. The problem isn't distance. It's that she doesn't call my mother or return her phone calls very often. Like hardly. There has never been abuse or anything that would justify it. It's the same with me. I don't even really care about her calling me or want to call her. Her kids matter more to me than her. What's the problem: well, my mom is very depressed about it. And naturally. It's always "I'm busy" excuse...always gaslighting. She has time to be on social media and is all cozy with her family out there. I know being right there with them, you're going to have more contact with them, but little contact with your mother is unnatural. Here's how Mothers Day present went: sister sends my mom some picture frames for pictures of the kids. Doesn't send any pictures! "I have to go to Walmart," she told my mom. Like where you got the frames or you couldn't have just gone there if you're going to go through the trouble of sending frames for pics of grandchildren?
Well, my mom finally wrote her a letter. Gaslighting. Well, I'm trying to keep it brief. So my mom told her in a text message, after many BS reasons for not calling back, etc., she told my sister: "I'm done with you. Enjoy your life." Not quite disowned, but eight hours and she hadn't returned a text. Imagine your spouse says that. If you value your marriage, you're going to reply to that as soon as you see it.
Here comes the part where I think my sister needs to get serious, because if it did happen, she'll have blood on her hands. My mom says last night, "If it wasn't wrong, I would kill myself." So now, we're talking suicide...the level the doctors say is a cry for help...serious...SUICIDE.
I think I have to tell my sister. If this doesn't change things, I think...well. The problem is there has never been any signs of narcissism in my sister. I went through the DSM. Not one of the requirements met. I'm not going to call and tell her. Why? I don't want to have a gaslighting conversation with her, with excuses and all that. Text may seem the wrong way to go, but it just allows me to say it and then her to think. She might respond with a gaslight, but there's no game like in an actual conversation. It's basically, "Hey, I told you plain and simple, and if you don't understand that.....
Well, the suicide. It's serious. I mean, I can't just have the police come and take her to the hospital. There has to be an immediate threat for that, not just talk of it.
And one more thing. So my mom goes out there. She said my sister said they were going to do stuff. My mom said she just sat in the basement where the bedroom was on her phone. When she mentioned this to my sister, my sister said it was her fault for not coming up or something like that. My sister was watching re-runs of Grey's Anatomy. I think it is the HOST'S job to invite the guest to do things, not the guest's. I mean that seems the logic to me about that situation.
Well, my mom is removing her as power of attorney. She was going to split the house value when she dies. Now she's changing the will to where she doesn't get half. My mom says she gets nothing. She was never a beneficiary of the life insurance. My father died and the money I was supposed to get (he'd saved. It was 50k) went to her. He didn't know he was going to die prematurely. She and her husband needed some help with a downpayment. I mean it's only money, but that's why she's not on the life insurance. She got her cut, her husband makes pretty good money anyway....but power of attorney and half the house, gone. Which I think is just fine. Not because I want all of those financial benefits, but because it's just. She has a five bedroom house...you get the idea. Geez, you watch your father removed from life support....have to visit him in a coma and never talk to him again...you know you say stuff, but....now imagine you had to see your father comatose in a burn unit and then you have your mother kill herself.
It will be blood on her hands, and I don't know what I will do. I don't think she'll do it, but that she mentioned it, there's a problem. I'm just thinking of the right way to say it. Naturally, you want to be very angry. But, it's better to make it firm, but not too harsh.

Date to Die For is a two-storey traditional Japanese house with a basement, collecting ingredients for Rhok'zan's rituals, but it won't be easy. The Thousand set up ambushes behind some doors. You can slowly open doors to peek, as long it doesn't pass the threshold to trigger them. Some of the Rhok'zan rituals are dangerous, you'd need to escape as well. These dangers increase, per chapter. The core of the Cosmic Horror is unchanged from First Date, though expanded. The Eldritch Entity of the Date is the luscious Outer God, Rhok'zen, The Black Goat of the Woods. Shub-Niggurath inspired her. Rhok'zen's behaviour is based on Out of the Aeons by Lovecraft and Hazel Heald (1935), who are friendly towards humanity and offer gifts that would benefit them. Prolonged life. Physical enhancement. Even immortality. Sounds like a sweet deal. The Sacarmen-Cho Stare is a side-effect of Black Woods, amplifying an individual's desire by a thousand—ignoring essential needs. Stardust's lust or desire doesn't receive any amplification cause she doesn't experience any sexual retraction towards Rhok'zen. The Sacarmen-Cho Stare was inspired by The Innsmouth Look from The Shadow over Innsmouth (1936) by Lovecraft. The Dunwich Horror (1929) is another inspiration, it's not as blatant as the Stare. Shub-Niggurath is a fertility God, described as a sophisticated Astarte from The Mound (1940) by Lovecraft and Zealia Bishop. Astarté or Ashtoreth is an Ancient Middle Eastern goddess of fertility and sexual love. Shub-Niggurath is called upon in incantations among hereditary cults as a blessing. Rhok'zen wants the biggest family she can get from her followers; she ploys it has continuing your legacy. Nyanlathotep returns with a new look, spectating the affair and keeping an eye on her niece. So I made it to 7 days clean last week and then I had a small relapse. The day before my relapse I had so many vivid dreams, of all these pictures and porn in my camera roll and I was looking at this stuff. I’m going to hit 8 days today and I’m doing much better than last time. But this morning I woke up from a night of extremely vivid and graphic dreams almost to the point it felt I had relapsed…..is this a normal part of the recovery? How long does this stage usually last. I don’t want these images to play in my head anymore.

I left and decided to start my own company and work freelance, which i was doing on an off while working full-time.
However, I had applied randomly for another job at Company D and they ended up making me an offer. I took it because it was one of the best and established companies here on the island and I needed to regain a bit of my designer confidence back. It was hustle culture as soon as i joined; no handing over of 4 main projects that i was expected to take over. I did it through migraines, tears, lots of unpaid overtime and stress. My mistake here was maybe not be vocal enough about how i was struggling.. As you can guess, my health suffered and I decided to resign from the job before i completed a full year although i loved the work itself and the experience was extremely valuable. Surprisingly, during my three months notice as per contract, i felt like i could handle the workload and stress much better and it made me rethink my decision.
Ultimately, I decided to leave nonetheless and was lucky to have 2 clients for whom i am working on a freelance basis currently. Now here am i, a month after having quit, working slowly as a freelancer. But, another Company E, contacted me since they have been wanting to work with me for a while now. My friend worked there for 5 years. He is also okay with me working part time at his but was very hot and cold during our conversations since February. My friend told me not to trust him but use him to my gain. So now i have the following options:
OPTION 1
Company D
Pros: Established firm since 25 years, high-end clients, great work experience, great colleagues. Having it on my Cv has already opened my networking.
OPTION 2
Company E
Pros: His company is 10 years old and he says he is ready to take it to the next level. I would be his right hand a bit to help him grow his business. Smaller company, less projects, projects are not so high-end so less time consuming, less stress overall.
OPTION 3
So I don't really know at this point. I have been thinking and thinking and thinking and I come up blank. I want to do it all and I don't want to do anything. So please, anyone if you can help, let me know your thoughts and advice!

He said he would’ve blocked me sooner if it weren’t for the money he owes me… I helped him pay off his loan and so that he doesn’t need to take money out of his savings so he could save it for moving to my country in July so we could start out future together. A week after he broke up with me, I messaged his phone number (I didn’t care about the international bills) and I was sent an ‘automatic’ message like in the photo. I noticed every time I sent a message, 15 minutes later the ‘automatic’ would send through. I even reached out via iMessage to his laptop to explain myself and how I’m willing to do the work and become a better person, move on from our bad memories and process my trauma so I could heal. He left me on read and delivered. And by trauma, I mean he almost left me several times whenever he got stressed or angry.
And if you unblock them you have the choice to add them back as a friend again. I also deleted his contact off my phone, because the app automatically syncs your contacts.. so I redownloaded the app again and I was still added as his friend and can view everything on his profile. He still has his profile picture I took of him and didn’t remove his previous profile picture I took of him off his profile. Maybe I’m thinking and doing too much but I don’t know why he’d unblock me like that without any reason… I tried to narrow the options down and it’s either - He misses me/is curious about me - Doesn’t care at all and moved on so he unblocked me - Unblocked me so he could message me about the money or whatever I really want to reach out to him. I miss him so much, and I still love him. I just want him back, and I know I shouldn’t reach out to him because he’s the one who dumped me, and out of respect for myself too. Hi! How are your 6-7 month olds sleeping? This is my second baby and I forget how my first was at this age so need a gut check to not feel like we are on an island or we are doing something wrong with his sleep.
My LO is 6.5 months, spends the first few hrs of the night in his bed but then makes his way onto ours for the remainder of the night. I don’t mind that he does but prefers he sleeps in his own space next to me. He wakes up every ~3hrs when we bedshare and usually can be nursed back to sleep quickly. I find it easier to bed share vs trying to put him back in bed and he wake up ( he also tends to wake more frequently if I am able to put him back in his bed).
I keep hearing stories of babies at this age sleeping super long stretches so don’t know if I should be trying something else.
He usually has a long nap in the morning and then one shorter one later in the afternoon. Some days it’s 2 naps, some days it’s 3. Are people still doing wake windows or have they moved to schedule based napping?
I know a lot of changes are going on at this age so it could still be impacting things but would love to hear how your LOs are doing.

If you want, you can see my previous very long post about our breakup for more details (this one will also probably be pretty long tbh). These are supposed to be writing exercises for my therapist. Everyone’s comments along with a few therapy sessions made me realize how one sided our relationship was. I’ve been in much longer and more committed relationships than this one, and had much worse breakups all things considered. But I’ve never felt like this. I know that grief isn’t a linear process. It comes in waves. However, I’ve always prided myself on being calm and collected even in the worst of times. I managed to hold it together pretty well when I lost my dad a year and a half ago, and worked through that in a healthy way. Why can’t I do that now? It’s been a month and a half. This should be so much smaller in the grand scheme of things.
I saw her yesterday at the grocery store, we were using self checkouts right next to each other. We ended up basically walking out together. I think she noticed me and just tried to pretend I didn’t exist. I immediately felt sick to my stomach, with this mix of deep sadness and anger. It took everything I had not to fall apart right then and there. I couldn’t eat dinner, and still managed to puke when I got home and then again in the middle of the night after waking up from a dream about us.
A realization that I had after my last post is how little she would compromise on things. A few of you that said that I was a doormat, and you’re right. I somehow let so many things slip that I shouldn’t have. It was her first serious relationship, she wasn’t used to having to compromise much. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She asked so much of me, maybe too much, and I gave to her maybe too freely. But the few times that I asked things of her, she’d almost always say no.
I wanted to watch Home Alone over Christmas. It was a tradition that I shared with my dad, some of my earliest memories are about that. I wanted to continue that tradition and I couldn’t bring myself to do it alone, so I asked her to watch it with me. I explained how important it was. She refused, time after time, every stay at home date we had between Thanksgiving and New Years. She went on rants about how traditions are stupid, and how she hates movies about kids (yet we watched the Harry Potter movies at her request, the first few are made by the same people that made Home Alone). It’s like she didn’t even hear me asking for support when I needed her, she only heard that I was asking her to put up with something she didn’t like for an hour and a half. On the other hand, I never said no to her.
This played out time and time again, in small and big ways. My mom was going to give us the money for our dream vacation to Ireland. All she wanted in return was a nice picture of us in front of something recognizably Irish, a castle or something. She was doing this incredibly nice thing for us, and just asked for that one thing. She just wanted to see me happy, traveling the world with the person I love, after having to give up the last 4 years of my life dealing with my dad’s illness (along with losing all of my grandparents and 2 uncles in the same timeframe) But my ex didn’t like having her picture taken. She would put up with it for friends and family, but if I asked her? Never. We have 3 pictures together, all of which are shitty group photos with her friends. Can’t even tell we were a couple.
Then there’s the big thing that led to our breakup. She wanted me to anticipate her needs without her needing to say them. She hated when I asked how best to help her when she was struggling and overwhelmed, saying that I needed to show initiative. She talked a lot about “mental loads” and such. I tried to support her as much as possible (often doing too much, as many of you said), but sometimes I’d miss the mark. She’d get so frustrated with me, and we’d sit down and talk things out. She’d tell me all of these things she needed from me, and I genuinely put in so much effort trying to work on it.
The only thing that I asked for in return is if I missed the mark, to please guide me to what she needed. I did it all the time for her, she was honestly awful at supporting me. If I was venting, had a bad day, all she’d say was “I’m sorry”, and pat me on the back like a puppy. No effort to dig deeper. No words of support or encouragement. Not even a kiss or a hug. I had to show her how I needed support. I never got mad or frustrated, I recognized this was something we had to communicate about and it was my job to open that communication.
So when we’d have those conversations about how she needed support, and she was asking all of these things of me that felt like mind reading, all I asked of her was to do what I did when she missed the mark. Just that one little thing to save our relationship. It was nothing compared to what she was asking from me, and it was for her own benefit. I put in the work, got us 80% of the way there. I knew I couldn’t bridge the gap on my own. I begged her time and time again. But instead of listening and guiding me to what she needed, she did the exact opposite. Full silent treatment at the very first text of support from me because she wanted something more/different.
That refusal to compromise ruined everything. I know anger is part of the stages of grief, but I’m just so angry all the time. I know you can’t tell based off of what was said here and in my other post, she is genuinely a great person. She didn’t do any of this maliciously. I don’t believe that she’s evil. But I can’t help but to look at all the work I put in vs all the work that she put in, after being told that I wasn’t doing enough while she was putting more effort into the relationship. I’m sorry, but I don’t see that effort from her. I don’t even know if I’m more angry at her or myself. Should have I been more proactive? Enforced stronger boundaries? Been more clear in what I needed from her? I don’t know. Maybe I am just a doormat. I just know that I hate feeling like this. I don’t want to be that guy that’s angry and bitter about their ex, and I’m terrified that’s exactly what I’m becoming.
