2024.05.15 18:26 Mitchell_x64 Coolmathgames blocked in the Philippines?

Okay, for some reason when i tried opening the coolmathgames website using a Philippine IP, it got blocked for some reason, I'm not even in school. I tried asking others to open coolmathgames on their browser and they got blocked too. The only way i could access the site is through a VPN. And if coolmathgames was intentionally blocked from the Philippines, can someone explain why is Filipino still an option in the languages menu?

EIF Business School and their trading platform ICHCOIN are crypto scam. "Professor" Linton Quadros, Noah Johnson, Evelyn Smith are fake names that operates these platforms. I invested with ICHCOIN, and I have a large account with them, but I cannot withdraw any of my money. Recently they closed their WhatsApp site removed all those invested with them and open other sites with new names. I know 100 people removed from this site, AI4.0, and all of them could not withdraw their money.

2024.05.15 17:59 kuda_senyum Should I take the SAT to get an admissions scholarship?

I'm an international student and will be applying for Batch 2025. I'm hoping to get an admissions scholarship, but I'm not studying for A-Levels nor am I currently planning on taking the SAT. I've heard it's possible to get a scholarship only through school reports, but will I get a better chance if I take the SAT or A-Levels? If yes, which one should I take?
On another note, regarding the SAT, the HKUST site says that they consider you for the scholarship based on your SAT subject tests. But I've read elsewhere that they'd discontinued those tests starting 2021. How would you get a scholarship through the SAT, then?
Thanks so much in advance.

Is it me or do any of you still remember the gta sa/vice city cheats from ps2 after like 20 years?
I decided to play gta vice city and San andreas after like 19 years ( got gta sa: on the release date) and still remember all the weapon cheats, money cheat and wanted level cheats. I can't even remember half of my teachers from middle school or what I even learned but I remember them. That was around the time internet was not readily available to a 12yo other than at school and cheats had to be looked up in cheat books. The school had cheat code sites like cheatcc blocked so books were pretty much all available.

2024.05.15 15:31 MRK2668 Corrupt Teacher

So we have a Germany teacher which is the worst teacher that ever taught me (she can't even do that). We have germany 3 years (this is the 3rd year) and every single year we didn't have this teacher I had straight A's and the second this teacher came I have the worst grades I ever had, the entire Germany and that teacher ruined my grades and everything (same for other classmates of course).
She legit said she can't scream and that she isn't an "Official Teacher" and that she will be only here till Summer Break. She legit gives grades for "Silence in Germany" basically grades based on how much u talk etc in class everyone been getting F's she said that we need to learn to "Think Silently" and that we're unresponsible kids.
Today she gave us test that nobody knew and expected, wanna know what's the best part? The test was about what she wrote on the whiteboard that she deleted like 3 minutes later and gave us words that no one knew that existed. Previous teachers that gave us test were based on what was in the book and every was getting good grades, etc... But this teacher is a different breed. After she gets angry she puts on School Site for our parents and for us some nonsense and annoying thing last time she said "Dear XXXX and XXXXXXX , I'm sorry that my nerves broke today and that I was banging on the table like a tornado, I didn't know how much I was going to spit out on the volcanic lava." SHE POSTED THAT LIKE A LITTLE GIRL. She then posts some useless stuff about her personal life, like what the heck is that kind of a teacher?.....
She is like a crazy psycho that ran out of mental hospital, she looks like 20 years old but she is 50 something. Every single student is welp, how to say it like protesting against her they, everyone is mad that she is giving grades like that and etc and everyone is angry at her. I've been talking with other classes and students and they said the same, she is legit giving bad grades for nothing. The best thing is that she told us after summer break she wont be there because she isn't "Official Teacher" and bla bla bla.
What can I do to report her or something?
Thx.

2024.05.15 15:10 Slight_Toe5095 AITAH for going no contact with my dad after he didn’t show up at my graduation?

First off, I am a girl from The Netherlands so English is not my first language so I apologise for any mistakes.
Let me give you a little back story. Before my dad met my mom he had a wife (lets call her Anna) they got married in 1999 and had been together since they were 16. Anna and him had a daughter in 1995 (my half sister, lets call her Charlotte) when they were 23 years old. Although Anna and my dad were very toxic for each other he never let that affect the way he loved Charlotte, more than anything and treated like a princess, as he should of course, eventually in 2002 Anna and dad got divorced. A year after the divorce my dad met my mom and had me on accident. They were kind of in a on/off relationship nothing official, then my mom got pregnant with me although they didn’t plan it they did decide to keep me but they never became a real couple. They never really had any problems with each other so they stayed friends. My dad is Italian and lives in Italy and my mom is Dutch and lives in The Netherlands, because my parents live in two different countries I needed a primary residence/parent which was my mom. I mainly lived with her and would go to my dad whenever i had holidays/vacations from school or he would come to me. He has always been a good dad but it was clear that Charlotte was the favourite. And i was always jealous of the attention and love that she got. I know my dad loves me very much but not like he loves Charlotte. Charlotte and I didn’t have a great bond she knew she was the favourite and would always make that known, she would bully me and make rude comments about me and my dad would just let it happen this went on for years and she made me really insecure.
One day when we were on vacation i wanted to go swimming in the ocean but I have epilepsy so I can’t swim unattended my dad send Charlotte to go with me, after an hour while i was still in the ocean Charlotte went back to our resort house without telling me and left me alone in the pool thankfully nothing happened but it could’ve ended badly. My dad for the first time ever stood up for me and made her apologise but i knew she wasn’t sorry.
As I got older I became more distant from my dad because of this, I used to be a big daddy’s girl but am now totally a mama’s girl. Skip forward to when i was 17, my mom passed away and i had to move in with my dad. Now let’s go forward a year later. At this point Charlotte was 25 and had already moved out en had gotten engaged. I was in my final year and was going to graduate, everyone including Charlotte and my dad knew my graduation was going to be on June 22 and out of nowhere Charlotte decided her wedding was going to be that same day she claimed she didn’t know that was my graduation date. I got mad at her and demanded that she would change the day because i had that date first but she didn’t want to. Our dad tried talking her into changing the date even to June 23 would’ve been fine but she didn’t want to and insisted on June 22. My dad was going to have to choose between walking Charlotte down the aisle or watching me graduate and I already knew what he was going to choose, Charlotte, and he did. I was secretly hoping he would change his mind so I reserved a spot for him but his seat at my graduation was empty. Not long after i moved back to The Netherlands and started living together with 2 of my friends and I haven’t been in contact with my dad or Charlotte ever since i moved and its been great. My uncle (dad’s brother) came to visit me because we still have a great bond. He told me he understood my side but he thought i was a little extreme for going no contact with them because he’s still my dad. I considered it and unblocked my dad’s number and sent him a text in the text message was talking about why i went no contact and how him and Charlotte made me feel and maybe meeting up so that he can apologise but he said he had nothing to apologise for and I took that as a sign of him also not being interested in contact anymore. Although him saying that he had nothing to apologise for kind of hurt me I expected it and was not surprised.
I have no desire to get back in contact with my dad anymore after all that’s happened over the years between me him and Charlotte which is more than the small portion i told you about in this post.
Personally i don’t think i was in the wrong but i need an unbiased opinion so I decided to come here.

2024.05.15 15:06 bozobebop Need help removing an image from Google

(I have no idea which tag to use for this)
So I posted an image on Reddit about a week ago of some artwork I did at school which got quite a lot of attention and noticed that it would come up under certain google searches related to the piece. I was then told by my teacher that I couldn’t use it for my exam if it was on the internet. I took it off Reddit but then saw that the image was still on Google. Am I just being impatient? I tried to use Google search console to delete it but was too complicated. Any solutions? As far as i know the image has not been posted on any other sites.

2024.05.15 14:48 Ayediosmio6 Need help deciding between two jobs (time sensitive)

Shockingly received two offers after thinking I wasn't going to get one of them and another that took almost a full month to let me know I got the job. Both jobs are in higher education. For reference, I'm temping now at $22 an hour for a publishing company. Here's the breakdown on the jobs:
Job #1 - $47k annual, on-site, 40 hrs week, 20 miles from my house. Safe position, definitely room to advance and earn yearly raises. Bit on the safe side and technically a down grade title but better than where I'm at now.
Job #2 - $55k annual, two days remote, three in office 37-45 hrs per week, 25 miles from my house. Job requires some travel and weeknight hours, rare weekend events. Good school but reputation is that they don't have a lot of opportunities for promotions, raises aren't guaranteed etc. Much better job title of the two choices but less stable if that makes any sense.
Appreciate the help. I told both jobs I'd let them know by the end of the day (today, May 15)

2024.05.15 14:42 Objective_Cup5932 Advice Needed. Deciding Between a Laid-Back Job and a New Opportunity

I'm in need of some advice and would appreciate any input from those who have been in a similar situation or have some wisdom to share. Here's my current situation:
I currently work in long-term care (LTC) and my job is about an hour away from where I live. I work three days a week on-site and two days remote, and it's a very laid-back position. Honestly, I work less than 30 hours a week.
When I first started, my management team wasn't very supportive, and it seemed like no one really cared about the dietitian role. However, the job is easy, and it's my first position out of school, so I've learned to manage.
Now, I work in an area with several large hospitals, but getting a position at one has been quite challenging. Recently, I got offered a pediatric acute care position at a really large hospital. My friend works there and recommended me for the job. The pay is similar, but it would obviously be more work—an actual 40 hours a week.
I really loved working in the hospital setting during my internship, and the idea of the new job excites me, but I'm also nervous about making the change.
For those who have transitioned from a more laid-back job to a more demanding one, or who have experience in both LTC and hospital settings, what would you do in my situation? Is it worth making the switch to something more challenging that I think I'll enjoy, or should I stick with my current, easier job?
Thanks in advance for your advice!

2024.05.15 11:25 steeleypie Newbie plus a toddler - how does it work?

I’ve been through a lot of the ‘beginners guides’ in the wikis and links from various comments in the beginner threads which have been very useful, but I have some really practical (and probably very basic) questions that a lot of the guides don’t quite answer (or I haven’t got to that part yet!) or I still just don’t understand.
I’ve never camped before - apart from one night in my partners back garden when we were teens - and we don’t have a garden to practice in.
My child is 3 and most hotels/BnBs in places I’d like to visit are over £110pn, so I thought camping would be a great way to get out and explore much more. We also just got a car for the first time so we will be car camping and I’d like to start in a campsite with showers etc.
Our flat is small so we don’t have a lot of room to store lots of equipment. We have a storage locker so I can store some stuff away but I’m also nervous about buying tons of expensive equipment in case we end up disliking it and never using it again.
I’m not planning on cooking, just packing/buying sandwiches and snacks etc as I don’t want to buy tons of cooking equipment for reasons above (unless we genuinely love it and then it could change in future).
I’m lucky enough to be a SAHP so I feel like we could do tons of camping before my little one has to go to school. I just need to figure out how. I’ll also be doing this on my own during the week while my partner is working.
We’ll be travelling around South East England (UK).
Here are my basic questions:
We’re in England so the weather is often rainy. Can you fix a tarp over the tent to help keep the rain out without trees? Is there such a thing you can buy that goes over the tent? I keep seeing advice not to lay the tarp directly over the tent and to use poles, but what poles? I can’t figure this out. Is sealing the seams worthwhile to a new tent?
How do groundsheets work? Do you fix it to the tent somehow? My brain cannot understand this concept. Or if the tent comes with a footprint are they attached? Do you just peg it to the ground? Is there anything you should look out for on the ground aside from pointy rocks etc? Is it as simple as pegging it to the ground and the tent goes on top?
Sleeping - is it best to have separate sleeping bags and one double mat? Is that a thing? Or is it best to have two mats and two bags? Or should I go for 2 cots? I’m heavy (100kg) so I’d worry about it breaking.
Is a silk/cotton insert for the sleeping bag worth it?
Are there any tips/advice I need to be aware of with a toddler?
Since we are unlikely to buy cooking equipment - is there anything I haven’t thought of here? I plan to go to a supermarket to buy packaged food, bottles of water etc.
Despite not wanting to buy lots of ‘cooking’ equipment, is there anything that I should consider bringing aside from mugs or plastic plates dish soap etc?
Is it worth bringing a metal kettle/pot and oven gloves or something to heat water on a fire? Is a stove best to do this with rather than relying on a fire pit?
Do sites tend to have a place to wash up dishes etc?
Showering - do you tend to get dried in the shower cubicle? Is it big enough for a 3 year old to shower together? Would you go there in flip flops? What’s the best way to transport fresh clothes and shower stuff from the tent to the shower block? Plastic bag would do?
I plan to bring toys, battery twinkle lights, marshmallows etc to try to keep it fun. Torches and headlights etc. is there anything else non standard to consider bringing for a kid?
I’ll have our car to lock valuables away - is that enough? Do you have to ‘lock’ your tent when you’re away?
Is there any pearls of advice you could tell a beginner that isn’t covered by manuals, but that you learned through practical experience?
Is this a terrible idea to do on my own with a 3 year old as a complete novice? 😅
Sorry if some of these are simple, I worry and panic a lot about sometimes really easy concepts.
Thank you for any links, advice and thoughts. I really appreciate it!

2024.05.15 11:24 Mayo6_B I need advice on a friendship.

I'm putting fake names... (A lot of the timelines are spread out but they talk about those specific moments, I hope they make since)
I have a friend, I'll call her J. I have known J for almost 9 years. She and I grew up pretty close and we were inseparable. Over the first few years of our friendship she had lost my parents trust from an incident involving a boy, she wasn't allowed to stay over for sleepovers and I practically lost my whole summer that year. I was pretty angry at my parents and blamed things on them. I regret my actions and I did learn but in my mind I thought J was the only person who understood me.
After the whole incident settled down. School started up again and she would jokingly push me into a boy or a locker. She started putting her arm around my neck, trying to choke me. She would continuously punch me or smack me on the head. I honestly got annoyed by it but I acted like it was nothing. She had suddenly became obsessed with TikTok and she posted a whole TikTok about her friends, their was a video of me that stood out. I wasn't wearing a shirt. Which completely made me uncomfortable because I wasn't wearing a shirt and she took the video while I was changing. She didn't take it down. She also would post photos without my consent. Like ones that made me feel ugly or disgusting. And I would tell her how they made me feel. But she would still post them. I started telling her no when she asked for photos and she always would sneak one when I wasn't looking. She doesn't take no for an answer. She will start whining when you don't listen. I used to trust her with my feelings and I would tell her about everything. And now I feel like she knows too much.
This past school year all of my friends (king, J, Joe, Bell) and I went to SDYC. And well when we went J was lying a bunch and starting a bunch of drama and it threw all of my friends off. We all didn't trust J and Joe that well during that time. I felt like the only people I had was my friends King and Bell. Because they both understood how I felt.
After that. King, J, and I had a sleepover. During the middle of the night I was watching a movie and J began to bug me. She started pushing on me saying I was taking up too much room. But honestly I was the one who was sleeping in between two couches there's no way I was taking that much space because I was falling in the crack. She then proceeded to call me a fat roll. I said "no your a fat roll" jokingly. And then she freaks out and she went to tell her boyfriend. It annoyed me because all her boyfriend knows how to do is talk bad. After that sleepover. She started working at the same place as me and I told her about my big crush on this coworker of ours. And so then she decided to start flirting with him in front of me. She would throw something at him jokingly and giggle. I didn't try to think anything of it. But then when we were talking about him the next thing she decided to say was, "your just jealous because he talks to me and not you". The thing is I don't want to talk to him that's why I don't try to talk to him. He has talked to me before, but I rather admire him from afar. He's like 13 years older than me. He was just hot to me at the time.
I'll just say I am lighter than a 5'6 girl. I might have a little bit of belly fat but that's just my body. And I do have an eating disorder. I don't eat enough, I practically starve myself. J honestly made me feel worse and I started having moments where I would basically pass out from no iron in my body. J continued to body shame me even from the amount of food I would eat. She straight up made is feel like she was calling me ugly and fat. It hurt and it made me angry. I told my dad and he said she's just jealous and not to worry about it. I brushed it off but she basically would say something everyday. It got to a point where I was crying all the time.
During my last year of highschool J didn't have a vehicle. So she would ask me to drive her places. I didn't mind because we would be going to the same places. And I started offering to pay for her drink or something. I didn't think much of it in tell I was always taking her places and buying her drinks but she still wanted me to pay her back for stuff when I didn't have much money. She managed to buy a vehicle for a small price by saving up the money she didn't spend. I feel stupid for offering. One day her mom even texted me asking for the small money I "owed" J. But my parents think I don't owe her anything because I have given her most of my money and that she owes me money.
J also does this thing where if you don't give her your attention she'll keep tapping you. Over and over again. Everytime she asks for my attention it's always for something so pointless and stupid. Nothing serious. And everytime I ask for her attention she'll ignore me. She does it a lot. She only wants to have the attention. I stopped telling her about how I feel because all I know is she'll either use it against me or not actually listen and move past it. Like once she asked me how I felt and when I told her that I cried about something she moved on from it into her talking about her crying over some movie she watched.
The way she treated me made me so angry that I texted her boyfriend anonymously asking him to control his girlfriend and get her to be nicer to others. He didn't like the message and told his girl on the spot and J tried to call my fake number. I didn't answer and then she ran to me to tell me the tea. She later assumed it was a boy she was flirting with that she pushed away.
I hate her boyfriend but he deserves better.. because she has talked to another boy behind his back. When I started liking this one boy. I told her about it and then she began to tell me how she met this UK boy and she thinks he's all that. She later found out he was lying about his age and she got back to reality before she lost her in person boyfriend.
She told king I was flirting with this one dude but I wasn't. J told me to add this guy she found on Facebook on snap, I said okay and I called the dude a nickname like a Grandma would call their grandchildren. And I thought it was funny and the guy thought it was chill. I didn't think anything of it and then I blocked him because I didn't want to talk to him. She then decided to add the guy on snap. And she starts talking to him. The amount of times she has lied is crazy. I blocked him but she still has him on snap. For what reason I don't know.
J and Joe and I have recently had a lot of problems with each other. It's always J and Joe fighting and I'm between listening to them both argue about each other. I was getting tired of it. J hit my breaking point when she decided to ask me for my boyfriends sisters snap. You don't just ask your friend for her boyfriends sisters snap. That's weird. She also asked for my boyfriends and she looked him up when I told her no and she added a bunch of dudes with the same name. She didn't find him but there is no way I want her knowing him or his sister. I have too many trust issues with her. She's the main reason why a lot of my relationships didn't work out. They didn't like her and she manipulated me into saying things that upset them. She makes me so uncomfortable. She made me seem lesbian once when I know I'm not. But she made a TikTok about it and a lot of people from my school saw it. I don't like false accusations. I'm pretty sure she used it for clout. But also my parents think she's inlove with me because she can never leave me alone and she always HAS to hold hands or hug.
J doesn't understand a lot of things. And she calls me stupid. I honestly want karma to come get her but that's bad and I don't mean to say that. It hurts a lot.
I had blocked J on everything. But since I worked with J I saw her and she started bawling her eyes out at me saying she did nothing, I felt bad but I was annoyed because she kept bugging me. So I unblocked her. I decided to block her again after because my boyfriend said she was manipulating me. And well the more I had her blocked the nicer she was. After a while Joe did something to make me give up on my friendship with her too and J expected that to be a chance to get me back. And well she did practically. She was a lot nicer and I felt like she changed. But Man was I wrong.. Just today I was working my second night shift. I said something as a joke because I was hoping J would get what I meant. Her boyfriend was on the call... He took everything out of context and said something that made me feel less about myself. I already feel like crap being the person I am. I want to better myself but the more people say things the more I give up. I want to be encouraged not dragged down. I don't know why he has to be so mean. I never did anything to him. I don't know why they both have to be... I listen to her call people ugly all the time. Like just stop. I want her to stop. I'm leaving for the military soon, and she said that I can't get rid of her. That sounds psycho. And it honestly makes me want to get away more. I'm tired of the toxic environment and I want to get away. But she's everywhere. She knows everything about me. She has photos of me I hate. She has so many things she can use against me. I'm honestly scared. I want to block her again but I know she's just going to keep bugging me about it. And she might turn people against me. She's good at talking to people. I'm not I'm an introvert. I don't want her ever find me again once I leave. But I know she might try. People always find a way. And she's creepy. Because I know she'll be able to. But I just want to move on with my life. I don't know how to remove her from my life. What should I do?

2024.05.15 10:54 Vince0789 Is there a site that aggregates all European school vacations?

Ideally I'd be able to enter a date or a date range and immediately see which countries (or parts of them) have school vacations on that date.
Most of the sites I've found so far are either out of date or woefully unwieldy, making me check the dates for each country and region manually, one at a time.

2024.05.15 09:23 Prestigious_Koala_62 Is it weird to decline the school site but not reject the job offer?

I was offered a postion with a district that I've heard great things about, they offer SLPA support too. The school they offered me is not a good fit - I would be the only SLP covering pre-k-8th, 2 mod/severe classes, RSP/gen ed. I would also have exit my room promptly when the bell rings because it is in use by another program. NOOOPE.
Would it be weird to say yes, I'm interested but not in that particular school site. Got anything else!? It is also the school furthest from me and there are other sites much closer. Or should I decline the offer and move on.

2024.05.15 09:23 midnitedesperadoIV I Don’t think I can move for love

I know I should be talking with my partner about this but I like to lurk on the internet. So my current predicament needs some background. Roughly two years ago I was in a serious relationship for 7 years and my gf at the time (I’m a male) came out to me as gay and moved across the country not too soon after telling me ( we shared a house together and we weren’t married). I think we ended amicably at the end but it still hurt me. During that time I owned a home and hated my job. All of the above occurred in the summer of 2022. As soon as I quit my job and sold my house I started to an accelerated medical program also in 2022. This is where my issue starts. A girl I know we’ll say her name is “Tamara” asked me to be FWB.
Tamara knew me from the previous job but in process of her moving up in the company she moved to South Carolina. I currently live up north in the US. So she got in contact with me and wanted to come to the place I moved back to, to come and visit. I said sure because we were pretty good friends. (I want to add the medical program I’m in gives me the ability to work anywhere in the US so I can chose where I complete my clinical hours. This comes into play later).
The first visit nothing happened between us. In between visits she asks to be FWB I say yes but tells me it can be messy. I agree. This goes on for a year and a half. Mid way point last year because our relationship was just exclusively FWB we discussed at the beginning that we were free to seek other people out. So I went on few dates. Tamara was not happy with me so I ended up stopping the dates in between her visits. At the point when I stopped the dates I was about to start my clinical rotations and I had an interview for a site coming up. I was unable to get matched in an area near South Carolina which is what Tamara wanted so we could be close. I matched at a place up North an hour from me. So throughout my clinical rotation Tamara has been “gently” encouraging me to move in with her in South Carolina.
I have some concerns about moving because I know the area is saturated for the medical job I have and it’s damn near impossible for new grads to get work. So I press on through the program. 1/3 of the way through. I get a message saying we need to talk. I get a phone call from Tamara saying she has an STD and I should get checked. Needless to say I was not happy. A week later I got checked and had it also. I was beside myself. I knew I was being an idiot and I know people make mistakes but I definitely got checked after our encounters but I digress. After this things seemed to have cooled a little. With news of the STD I told her fuck it I’ll just move down after I graduate but I’m still struggling with the idea of fully committing to moving there because of the struggles I will face. Now currently I have a few weeks left of my program and I want to change my mind about moving down and I know it will break her heart but I was doing what was right for her and not for myself. So would I be the asshole for calling things off and staying put to get work experience?
TLDR: I ended a long term relationship. I got into medical school that allows me to work anywhere in the US. An old co-worker hits me up to hang but we live in different states. We become FWB. I get an STD from our interactions which soured my mood a little. I tell her I will move down to be closer to date but now I want to take it back because I know how hard it will be to get a job where she lives currently and I’m not sure I can commit to the things she wants.
Thanks for reading and sorry for any typos! I am writing this pretty late at night.

Hello! As the title says, I'm looking for a BPO company to work for as a college student and start during our school break. But the thing is, I don't have any work experience. Pwede ba magparefer or what? Paano makapasok, if anyone can help? Or are there any other jobs na hindi kailangan ng on-site work sana, pero kung hindi, pwede naman ako mag on-site. However, I still prefer to work from home and have a non-voice position. But anything open will do as long as I can get a job, plus it's student-friendly. Also, looking for tips na rin on interviews and requirements in applying.
additional: any online job that does not require work experience will do!
