TWSBI Vac 700r Iris broad nib, conservative B condition— it looks great to me and is a smooth, wet writer. I’m selling because I need to downsize and I mostly just use my Pilots! Unfortunately I don’t have the box and accessories, so it will be shipped in the cute Esterbrook box that you see in the photo. I just greased the piston so it should be good to go for a while!
4 Samples of Esterbrook ink that I just received in my Truphae sample subscription and are untouched. I have plenty of ink already!!
Diamine Onyx Black, 30ml, about 90% full.
Diamine Oxford Blue, 30ml, about 70% full.
Sailor Doyou, 20ml, 95% full.
Take the whole lot for $70 shipped, conus. I’ll throw in a sample of Lamy Violet Blackberry for an extra $5 if you want that, too—just occurred to me after I already took the photos that might be fun for someone to have, also!

2024.04.18 12:01 RidingTheSunsetBird Cracking the Cove: How Your Choices Change Step 4 Cove's Appearance
| https://preview.redd.it/whg3g5wtn7vc1.jpg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f8e74318e85c92aac890e6093ac99e80eb778ee5 It's time for Step 4 Cove's posts, and first up is what choices change his look! As before, my first post on Step 2 Cove's appearance modifiers will tell you a lot of what you need to know if you haven't already read it, but to summarize: - The things that your MC notices/favors/picks up/focuses on influence Cove's look, though there are some exceptions.
- In some cases (though there are none in this step), a choice that changes Cove's appearance may also affect his coldness/warmness as well as his studiousness/sportiness. This is coincidental, so Cove's personality doesn't largely impact his look.
- If you want a different Cove without using the Cove Creator, try choosing different aesthetic/taste-based options.
Specific to Step 4, however, there are a few key things to note. Firstly, similar to Step 3 where some earrings would not be visible on Cove depending on what hairstyle he has, the same applies here. The black stud earrings will not be visible with the fluffy hair and the silver huggie earrings will not be visible with the tied-back hair. Ergo, Cove could be wearing earrings in one of your playthroughs if you have either hairstyle on him, but you just might not see them. Also, the dark raspberry sleeveless shirt with the white anchor symbol and the yellow shirt with the orange flower pattern hide the silver ring necklace, so that's another thing to keep in mind. Secondly, and I'll have to rip off the bandage for any poor person who wants their Cove to have a tattoo, but there are no choices that will give Cove a tattoo. It's something you can do only with the Cove Creator, which I imagine may be because one of Cove's tattoos can trigger people's trypophobia. Third, it appears that the modifiers for Step 4 Cove's pants in Step 3 are not the ones actually used in Step 4. In all of my tests, Cove's pants always defaulted to the tan shorts with the gray trim and blue polka dots. If anyone has any evidence to the contrary, then I can test them out, but it appears that the plan was originally for Cove to have six different pairs of pants rather than four - with two of the pairs having color variation like Step 2 and 3 Cove have - but it was changed by the time Step 4 was made. Below is what you would get if what I presume to be the original intent was kept in place: Hang (Cove's Version) If the MC decides to have a drink: base flavor - An iced green tea. [Pants #4]
- A black tea. [Pants #2]
- A milk tea. [Pants #2 (Alternate Color)]
- An iced coffee. [Pants #1]
- A strawberry smoothie. [Pants #2]
- A banana smoothie. [Pants #3]
- A mango smoothie. [Pants #4]
- A coffee frappe. [Pants #1 (Alternate Color)]
- A vanilla milkshake. [Pants #1]
- A chocolate milkshake. [Pants #1 (Alternate Color)]
mix ins & toppings - You chose to add whipped cream. [Pants #2 (Alternate Color)]
- You chose to add chocolate syrup. [Pants #4]
- You chose to add caramel syrup. [Pants #1]
- You chose to add boba pearls. [Pants #3]
- You chose to add condensed milk. [Pants #2]
There are two other types of pants - an alternate color version of both Pants #3 and #4 - but these aren't attached to any choices so they may have been scrapped even earlier. In addition to this, though this is nothing the player themself needs to worry about, there is unused code in the game for Step 4 Cove's swimming trunks. This may have been for the scene where Cove strips down to his boxers to take a swim in the ocean, though he would've had swimming trunks on instead. These are the choices that would've changed them: Boating If the MC was sick/scared and was brought downstairs by Cove, who asks if they want a drink (if non-Indifferent): - "Water?" [Swimming Trunks #2]
- "Juice?" [Swimming Trunks #1]
- "Seltzer water?" [Swimming Trunks #2]
- "I don't want anything." [Swimming Trunks #1]
- "I don't want you to go." [Swimming Trunks #2]
If the MC stepped up to make drinks for the group: if the MC put only one ingredient in the drink [Swimming Trunks #1] if the MC's drink is "berry dominant" (meaning either the drink has two ingredients and all are berry - grape/cranberry/strawberry/mixed berry - juices, or if the drink has more than two but less than six ingredients and more than two are berry juices) [Swimming Trunks #2] if the MC's drink is "common" (meaning either the drink has two ingredients and all are common - apple/orange/pineapple/mango - juices, or if the drink has more than two but less than six ingredients and more than two are common juices) [Swimming Trunks #1] if the MC's drink is "uncommon/mixed" (meaning either the drink has two ingredients and there is only one or zero each of berry juice and common juice, or if the drink has more than two but less than six ingredients and there are no more than three each of either berry or common juice) [Swimming Trunks #2] if the MC's drink has more than five ingredients but less than ten [Swimming Trunks #1] if the MC used all the ingredients in the drink [Swimming Trunks #2] There are additional unused articles of clothing for Step 4 Cove, but these weren't attached to any choices (similar to the two pairs of pants mentioned above): two pajamas shirts and two pairs of pajama pants, as well as two formal shirts. Cove also has code for a fourth pair of earrings, wristwear (for both wrists), and glasses, the latter two being connected to choices, but the game will simply change it to nothing. Cove's hair doesn't have an extra option exactly, but weirdly there are options to disable all of his hair (this won't give you a bald Cove, but default to the tied-back hair). I wanted to mark these just for the sake of being thorough, so if there's anything that says "[nothing]" rather than "[no change]" then just note that it's because the code is different for those options for the reasons above (so they might be calling for all hair to be disabled, for the fourth wristwear accessory, or fourth pair of glasses). Keep all that in mind while checking out this list of chances you have to change Cove's look: Step 3 Intro After the MC's initial thoughts on Cove having to go away for a while almost every year (if not Indifferent by Step 1/2): - You sent him letters the entire time he was away. [rainbow shapes necklace]
- Your moms helped you ship out care packages to him and his mom. [silver ring necklace]
- You gave him special treasures to take with him before he left. [no necklace]
- You kept an eye on his house for him while he wasn't there. [rainbow shapes necklace]
- You were incapable of doing anything until he was back. [silver ring necklace]

- Attend a public university. [buff body type]

Errands When the MC spots a fudge stall at the market: - You got closer to the stall. [no change]

2024.03.26 17:01 Evo981 Upgraded blackberry for music?
| So this isn’t a routine blackberry post and I figured this is the right place to ask. I have an older 90s Japanese car and I’m a sucker for weird accessories. One being this older phone vent clip holder. My hopes were shove a blackberry in there, plug it in my radio port and basically look cool when parked or at a car show. I always kept my old phones. Have a few curves in my junk drawer but may want a cleaner one for this project. Any input appreciated! submitted by Evo981 to blackberry [link] [comments] |
2024.03.25 19:58 Economy_Blueberry_25 A (totally) unbiased opinion by an ardent fan: the AI pin is going to be a runaway success!
Currently, no other device has the same level of eye-catching awesomeness that the AI pin has. I call it the Woah Factor. That same factor was the one which crushed Blackberry and Palm after the iPhone was released, and prompted for the hasty release of Android in order to clone it. And, for those who remember it, what was it like the first time you saw someone playing on a Gameboy? Exactly.
The AI pin effectively is its own advertising, and every user wearing it becomes a spokesperson for it. Expect it also to work as an “Ask me about…” pin, and thus to become a word-of-mouth landslide. So, Humane has no need to spend megabucks on advertising, these pins will sell themselves!
And you just wait until after some big celebrity wears the AI pin to some events. Someone like Shailene Wooley, who is a digital minimalist who refuses to use smartphones. Or maybe Keanu Reeves, who has been spotted using a dumbphone daily. And so on and so forth, until this thing becomes the hottest fashion accessory on the market. And, coincidentally, brooches are very much back in style this year, so…
Sure, some people love to hate the AI pin. Excellent, that is free advertising, as well. It will become a whole talking point on many casual conversations. And no, this product is not supposed to be for everyone. The AI pin is meant for the intelligent, the mindful, the bold and the beautiful.
You don’t like the AI pin? Probably because you don’t belong to the aforementioned group of people. It’s not in your personality, and that’s okay. Also, don’t expect me to pay any attention to your opinions about it. You can yell to the cloud whatever you want. I’m turning off the reply notifications on this post and never looking at it again.
This is my prerogative and my power as a user: I can (and I will) filter out whatever doesn’t nurture me and my personal development. This is what I expect AI pin and CosmOS to help me accomplish even better, in my daily life. I choose to have peace of mind, and some tea with biscotti. Care to join me?

2024.03.17 15:17 SuitableChemistry613 New additions (ideas)
Im an avid The Long Dark enjoyer and have played the game so much and loved every second of it. Right now after the TFTFT update, I have made it to day 239, and I thought of some new things that would be pretty cool to see in game! Here is the full list of things I Thought about would be cool to see in TLD.
handheld polaroid camera, can print and hang up pictures on wall, or just hold them in your inventory.
binoculars can give you a nice surreal feel in the game lets you view things from afar
nail hammer, can take down boarded up doors, with full interiors and secret loot. The things inside are full of vintage food and clothing, most food in ruined but its cool to have something with an expiry of 1980, like a collectible
snow mobile made from different parts across the map, can ride on very specific surfaces like ice, roads and flat regions, can transfer through regions, if stuck somewhere you can drag it out which takes 1HR in game, and teleports it to the nearest open flat surface within a 10m distance, if on a cliff, will not teleport all the way down
extra accessory slot, just an extra slot, please lol
shotgun with 12 gauge and slug rounds, can be found ONLY ONCE in the entire map in major locations. such as TW plane, BR main prison building, MT mother greys house, fish cannery in DP, etc
hunting rifle sights/scope. pretty self explanatory, a scope or sight for the hunting rifle, could find one that is 2.0x, or 5.0x
more recipes made from natural resources maybe in caves you can find specific mushrooms, which can give varied effects. You can also find a couple of new berries like blackberries, huckleberries, and holly plants. you can craft new pies from these and make medicinal products
tree sap taps and buckets, takes 24 hours to fill 1/4th and produces tree sap which can be used for repairing of clothes or specifically the homemade tools like knife or hatchet could even create weaker variant tools out of stones, tree sap, and sticks, same effects as a metal makeshift knife or hatchet, however breaks way quicker
random patrol helicopters or planes, you can see them crash during an aurora and find it on fire, after 8 hours the fire dies down, and you can loot the dead and the planes cargo is really abundant in supplies
use of radios, you can signal for supplies or help, which will never come, but you can make out a couple of words or voices, can unlock or reveal secret caches or locations
fishing buckets, only specific ones not any random one, can hold up to 25 kg of fish, you have to carry it in left hand and drop it when equipping something else, kind of like the travois. If have revolver equipped in right hand, you cannot aim down sights unless bucket is dropped.

2024.03.13 22:01 adamantiumrose Our 37k all-inclusive colorful Catholic wedding (and party!) nearly four years in the making!
| 2020 Budget: $20,000 2022 Budget: $37,000 Actual cost: $37,758.67 (55% bride’s parents, 45% us) *Full detailed breakdown screenshot is at the end of the photos! Guest count: 150 invited, 115 RSVP’d yes, 98 attended Planning Timeline: We had originally started ring shopping in March 2020, planning to get engaged that summer and married in fall 2021. Yeah, for obvious reasons that didn’t happen. Instead, we got engaged in summer 2022 and ended up with an 18-month engagement and a January 2024 date in order to work between bride’s PhD commitments. We actually started saving in fall 2019, giving us an unexpected (but not unwelcome) nearly FOUR YEARS to save and plot. This was good, as our initial budget set in 2020 ended up increasing by 85% to meet surging industry inflation in just two years, sigh. The relative accuracy in the budget can also be attributed to HOURS spent pouring over local vendors and posted prices, which gave us a solid, if occasionally depressing, grasp of the market rates. Goals: We wanted to a) spend time with the people we love, b) party, and c) have a stress-free day. Given those priorities (and bride’s ongoing PhD stress), we were more willing to spend money than time, and opted for an all-inclusive Wedgewood Weddings location, which ended up being an amazing choice. Day Of Timeline: Timelines are always a question with Catholic weddings, and we did end up having a ‘Catholic gap’: the ceremony was at 1pm and the reception started at 4pm, with a 30 minute drive (everything is 30 minutes away in Phoenix…), ending at 10pm. Bride started getting ready at 8am, which felt too early but was actually just enough time. Several guests went home or to their hotels in between, and others went to Dave and Busters or a near by bar. Venue(s): We had our ceremony at the Franciscan Renewal Center, which is a church and monastic retreat, and made a donation of $1000 to their refugee resettlement and environmental activism ministries. They printed the programs and gave us two rooms on site to get ready in. We also paid $300 to the music director who ran the ceremony and played piano. Our reception was at Wedgewood Weddings Lindsay Grove, and we opted for the top-tier Elite Package ($23,216.54, 115 people), removing invitations, officiant, accent lighting, charger plates, and table wine, and adding a late night snack. It included 6 hours of event time, DJ, buffet dinner, cocktail apps, open bar, coffee station, cake, table linens and settings, floral centerpieces, 3 hrs getting ready space, sundries like table numbers, cake servers, etc. We’re bummed that 17 people ended up not being there (11 for valid weather reasons, bummer, and 6 for no stated reason) after we gave the final headcount 10 days out, as that would have saved us over $2000, but oh well, life. Overall, our experience was amazing and we have no regrets! The planning process was very straightforward and we had no issues with our meetings or check in calls. On the day of, the staff did an amazing job; the only issue we had was with our photobooth, which stopped printing after only a few goes. Several staff tried to fix it with no success, and Lindsay Grove reached out unprompted the monday following the wedding and will be fully refunding us for the photobooth. We also really appreciated some of the extra touches we hadn’t even expected, like how they took a picture while we waited for our grand entrance and gave us a printed, framed copy to take home at the end of the night, and boxed up two servings of dinner and a complimentary bottle of champagne for us to take to our hotel at the end, which gave rise to one of our favorite memories of the night - sitting with each other in our hotel room, tipsy and giggling, eating cold tortellini and prime rib while sipping champagne! Catering (included): I (bride) was a little bummed about not having fancy Mexican food like I had originally wanted, but our menu (salmon, prime rib, tortellini, with salad and roasted potatoes) ended up being very good for typical wedding food! We did attend a tasting event, which really helped us pick our menu. Groom notes they were very accommodating to our celiacs guests, and allowed them to bring in safe food for themselves with no issues. Bar (open, included): PHENOMENAL. We cannot sing the praises of Tim, our bartender, enough! Wedgewood’s alcohol menu can be somewhat limited - there weren’t any craft beers or particularly fancy wines, so we figured cocktails would be the pick of the night and they were. We offered two signature drinks (whiskey old fashioned and a blackberry mule) and Tim slung those, and anything anyone else could ask for all night. Late night snack (included): Objectively meh, the ‘tacos’ were clearly mission tortillas, unspiced chopped meat, and cheap salsa. I (bride) suspect their late night tater tot bar would be a better pick (Groom agrees). BUT, everyone was partying hard enough to inhale the whole taco bar, so, success? Definitely do a late night snack if you can, though, especially if your crew is 30-somethings who are out of practice with partying and open bars. Cake (included): We had almond, chocolate raspberry, and churro, and it was all tasty - which is good because we had a TON leftover due to our reduced attendance. We kept it simple - our original ideal design (‘painted’ frosting florals) would have cost another $300, so instead we got simple white icing decoration and added cake florals from the florist ($15, next section). Floral (included + extra $1844.88): Floral centerpieces were included with our package, and we opted to go with the same florist for ceremony florals, which were a separate contract. We paid extra for 1 large bridal bouquet, 2 petite BM bouquets, 4 bouts, 2 HUGE ceremony pieces we reused at the reception, and added cake flowers, live candles, and cocktail table florals. This was the biggest place we blew our budget, as the bride’s usually-minimalistic dad ended up being unexpectedly VERY EXCITED about flowers. I (bride) was shocked by how much I loved my florals and have no regrets, even though my bouquet weighed as much as a small child and legitimately made my arm sore for like two days after. Photographer + Videographer ($6,375): We went with a husband and wife team, Juniper & Co Photography, and paid for 9 hours of photo & video with a second shooter added; the longer time was largely because Catholic ceremonies are… not short. It also included an engagement shoot, and they gave us a little leather case with some polaroids they took, which we hadn’t expected but did take the edge off waiting for our full gallery. Overall, they were great and we’re super happy with our photos! I was very picky about who I wanted and they fit the bill - super professional, very experienced, and overall excellent. Stationery ($688.87): We used Truly Engaging to print Save the Date magnets, Invitations, enclosure cards, rsvp cards, and Thank You cards, and it was really good for the cost (70 ordered for 62 households), specifically the addressed envelopes for everything. We considered Canva for cheaper printing, but groom did NOT want to address all those envelopes and was willing to pay for the benefit. A graphic designer aunt designed the entire invitation suite as a wedding gift, and did an amazing job! Website (free): We used The Knot and had mixed feelings. The guest interface was mostly smooth from the guest perspective. However, from a planning side of things it wasn’t so great - it randomly deleted one family (both had the same last name, i.e. two Jones families), which caused some serious panic. While the app had lovely visual graphs for RSVPs, it was very hard to see RSVPs in the browser version as it lacked the same graphs, and it also lacked many of the seating chart/event planning tools that WithJoy had. The registry option worked well as we linked an external registry (william sonoma) with The Knot’s internal options + a cash fund. We mostly got cash fund gifts, but some guests did buy off both registries and it seemed to work smoothly. Our registry was only 14 items, and 11 were purchased. In retrospect, as the registry was low-priority for us and the majority of guests gave physical cards with cash/checks anyway, bride would have used WithJoy instead for its improved planning tools (Groom - still prefer the themes and guest interface of The Knot, but WithJoy would have been fine). That being said, having a website was CRITICAL, and really helped lots of guests navigate the multiple locations and times; multiple guests said they appreciated the FAQ section so I definitely would still have done a website of some kind. Hair and Makeup ($500): This was all for the bride - Hair was a disaster, and I’m (bride) still sad about it. My mom insisted that she would pay, and got her regular hair stylist to do it - a bridal trial and hair day-of, and simple styles for my 2 co-Maids of Honor. In retrospect, I really should have gone with a professional, as my updo fell out before he’d even finished the first BM’s hair. He fixed it, but then it fell out again after he left. My aunt ended up wrangling it into something up-ish, and then we basically hid it under the veil. Before the reception she ended up pulling the whole thing out and redoing it. We diy’d makeup with things I already had, and my aunt applied it. It was my first time wearing false eyelashes, but otherwise everything else was my regular makeup. Shout out to Charlotte Tillbury Airbrush foundation and Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink lip stain! Attire ($2668.78): We ended up coming in under-budget here, somehow. We did pay for the bridesmaids dresses and had a good experience with Revelry; both had to pay for hemming but no other alterations. We bought the best man a tie, but he wore his own suit and accessories. Bride - I saw a dress on David’s Bridal back in 2020, fell in love, and could never shake the hold it had on me. So, despite my parents offering a budget of $2000 for the dress, I ended up with the classic, ever-popular wg3979 satin ballgown for $560. It’s a classic because, damn, it looks good on everyone! I planned for significant alterations because I am SHORT, and still ended up taking nearly 8 inches off the bottom of a petite-length gown. Veil-wise, my absurdly long and gorgeous veil was $18 on Amazon, and I’d never tell anyone to pay the inflated salon prices - one place wanted $900 for a cathedral veil. What?! My reception dress was free, because it was actually my sister’s civil ceremony dress from her courthouse ceremony in 2023! Perks of being the same size as your siblings. I had the train chopped off by a family friend the week before the wedding (should have cost $80 by her rates), and I’m glad I did because it was much lighter and easier to dance in than my beloved ballgown. Shoes were my weakness - I bought many pairs over the course of two years, mostly off Poshmark, and ended up wearing one pair for the rehearsal, reselling 2 for being heinously uncomfortable (beware the adorable Betsey Johnson pearl shoes), wearing last minute $25 blue ballroom shoes for most of the night, and accidentally got my reception sneakers (my mom and I matched!) for free because David’s Bridal goofed. I highly recommend ballroom heels if you want comfy shoes and aren’t a heels person; I ended up wearing mine for almost 7 hours of heavy dancing and had no blisters! Groom - Custom suit from Indochino, which was his second from there. Both suits turned out really well and fit great. I had originally planned to get new boots (bride - cowboy boots, specifically), but ended up with a secondhand pair because the originally planned pair didn’t work. Wedding party gifts ($235): The two bridesmaids/co-maids-of-honor each got a monogrammed Lands End tote, matching shawls from TJ Maxx, and personalized earrings/necklace (not for the wedding). I (bride) do amateur jewelry work and made one a moissanite set and one a lab emerald set; each set was in gold-plated silver and cost ~$40 for stones and settings. One wore her set for the wedding, the other wore her own jewelry. The Best Man’s gift is still TBD. OtheMisc costs ($449.60): This included the marriage license and little things like bridesmaid dress swatches, the guestbook & pens, custom dog cake topper, a perfume the bride forgot to wear (bride - ugh!), and small gifts for the moms. This budget line also included favors - we got custom M&Ms with our dogs faces on them and put them in little tins I found on clearance at Michaels (craft store). We are swordfighting instructors, so we also did ridiculous tiny sword cards to assign people to their seats - I bought the swords on Aliexpress, and made the cards on a cricut with cardstock, an embossing pen, and embossing powder. The total cost for 120 cards (plus lots of error cards) was ~$48. IN SUMMARY We will both admit we were “wedding hesitant” prior to this whole experience, particularly as we bought a house midway through our engagement and spent a lot of time wondering if we would have been better off saving the money for that. But, after all was said and done it was SO AMAZING to have this time with the people we love. Sitting up at our sweetheart table looking out at a room full of people who all care about us so much was awe inspiring and an experience we’ll cherish forever. And many of our friends, who now live scattered around the country, have been talking non-stop since the wedding about how fun it was. Different friend groups met and are now planning gaming nights, craft days, and general merriment together. We had a blast dancing, singing, and celebrating with everyone. It was so, so worth it. submitted by adamantiumrose to weddingplanning [link] [comments] |

2024.03.10 16:05 RevolutionaryMap9620 how could i ever love another?
(these are selected lyrics from the song this one(crying like a child) by Hikaru Utada(i changed some of the words to fit my situation) that make me think of you. i miss you so much even though you hurt me so bad)
How can I put this? I'm an independent man, I I've been crying like a child I just wanted you to know the person that I am More than any other my friends
i would you love you for a thousand years. i’m yours truly
i ain’t gonna play it cool let me tell you i’ve tried that already
Every day, and every night, your words Ring through me
Who am I trying to fool, honey I've been living on my own Like Freddie But I'm still a man, baby tell me how
How could I ever love another? How could you say don't remember?
God knows I'd give anything For just one more night together
Today I'll miss you more than ever How could you say you don't remember? This one's for the happiness I'll be wishing you forever
It's just another Friday night For you and your accessory And there you are before my eyes Two hours and for fifteen minutes you are here I don't wanna scream lest I should tear A whisper in the darkness disappears Sincerely
We should get back on the road like Simon and Garfunkel Let's get married You were all the shelter that I need above me Who am I trying to fool? Honey, I've got your ringtone on my Blackberry And I won't give a damn if only I knew how
how could i ever love another?
How could you say don't remember? God knows I'd give anything For just one more night together Today I'll miss you more than ever How could you say you don't remember? This one's for the happiness I'll be wishing you forever

2024.03.08 06:47 FormulaFanboyFFIB HELP - I accidentally wiped the OS from my 8330
So long story short, I accidentally pressed "wipe device" on BBSAK, thinking it would just do a factory reset. And now the phone just boots to a white screen that simply says "507".
I've been pulling my hair out for hours now trying to figure out how to restore the OS. It had OS 4.5 on it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Maybe the answer is somewhere on LunarProject (.org) but I couldn't find the 8330 listed anywhere in the 'OS Installs' folder, and installing both the 8310 and 8300 exe's seemed to have no effect. Pressing "Load OS" in BBSAK just gives me this error.
"No OS found, Please install a OS for your phone."
For what it's worth I have a BBB backup file? I have no idea if that's useful or not, I'm still kinda a noob to operating BlackBerry phones.
I bought this phone like a week ago and I'd be a little peeved if it's just bricked now. Somebody please help me

2024.03.07 02:15 FormulaFanboyFFIB Where could I find or download native apps for the BlackBerry Curve 8330?
Post title is self explanatory... I am mainly looking for games. I'll be especially happy if someone can like me to a place where the BlackBerry version of The Sims 3 has been archived.
JAR games just seem to refuse to work for me, although I'll also happily take any tips on how to get those working.
I bought a Curve 8330 and I just wanna play some games on it. If it helps, I'm pretty sure anything compatible with the 8300 will work on it. Thanks a ton in advance

2024.03.06 23:23 FormulaFanboyFFIB Trying to run games (mainly Java) on a Curve 8330. Help?
Hey all,
recently I bought a BlackBerry Curve 8330 from the internet, which I believe runs basically the same firmware and software as an 8300. One of the main reasons I bought it was to play some games on it, but I'm having trouble.
I tried downloading some .jar games from the internet that say they're screen-resolution compatible to my model (320x240), but I can't seem to get any to work. Most just won't install, giving some sort of error message. And the ones that I was able to get to install (Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions and Winnie-the-Pooh: Honey Trouble) will show up as applications in the apps screen but won't run. They'll say something about a "verification error", or they'll say "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError".
And as for games that are .asx or .cod or whatever, I straight up can't find any online.
I remember when I was a really little kid I used to play The Sims 3 on a blackberry that looked just like this, and I know these sorts of games are meant to be able to run on this device, I just can't figure out how.
What am I doing wrong? How can I get Java games to work, and where online can I find games that will run? (Obviously not AppWorld since that's been shut down for years.) Anything helps, thank you :)

2024.02.10 05:29 SamTheAnimaniac Weapons, accessories, and cosmetics for Payday 3
Since Payday 2's modifications community is slow in adding add-on weapons, I might as well suggest these new weapons, map cosmetics, weapon accessories, and heister costumes and masks to add to Payday 3.
At the moment, Payday 3's main weapon list is
mostly duplicate weapons from Payday 2, so we don't need to see anymore duplicates from the past game. And no game that I know of utilizes any of these weapons and 3D props listed below, so... why not implement all of these into Payday 3 as an improvement for it's primary, secondary, and overkill weapon roster?
Firearms:
9mm Daewoo Telecom K7 (with a customizable barrel)
Heckler & Koch HK53 (can be customized to player's preference) 5.56x45mm NATO
9mm Calico M950 (with both 50 and 100 round helical magazines)
Short Barrel AKMS (seen in Terminator 3) 7.62x39mm
SAP-6 Box Magazine fed 12G shotgun
MG 131 machine gun 13×64mmB
MAUL shotgun 12G
Taser X12 LLS shotgun (Mossberg 500 relative) with XREP shells (a shotgun version of the X-1 ZAPper seen in Payday 2 and something to give Payday 3's Zapper a taste of his own medicine)
9mm Cugir LP7/RATMIL SMG
Micro Galil with several different sized box magazines (for different scenarios) 5.56x45mm NATO
9A-91 compact assault rifle 9x39mm
Defense Technology Corporation L8-37mm 6 round grenade launcher (from Transformers (2007) and can be customized)
Browning M1919 7.62×51mm NATO
XM214 Microgun 5.56×45mm
9mm Encom MP9 (customizable) - since the TEC-9 is already in Payday 2, why not try this gun instead
9mm Nitescout A series SMG (customizable)
Smith & Wesson 15-3 with 21-inch barrel (Like Joker's from Batman (1989))
9mm Hi-Point 995 carbine (the first model and not the current model (like the one used at Columbine))
9mm Claridge Hi-Tec/Goncz GA (both as a handgun and a carbine)
9mm R9 Arms Corp. USA black market machine pistol (with and without the underbarrel grip)
9mm AK styled uzi SMG
HAWK Industries box magazine fed 12G shotgun
45 ACP Bullpup Thompson M1928
FN M240C machine gun with a detachable pistol grip so we can mount it to turrets 7.62×51mm NATO
Standalone Cobray CM79LF 37mm with pistol grip and folding stock
Kel-Tec PLR-16 5.56×45mm NATO (customizable)
9mm Chechen Borz SMG (straight mag similar to the MP5's "waffle" mag and wooden hand grip)
9mm Uzi Pro (prototype version that only takes what appears to be Glock magazines and serial P-200001 and appears in the book The Uzi Submachine Gun Examined by David Gaboury (P.S, if you have this book, see if it has as many pics of the Micro Uzi Para and that Prototype Uzi Pro and post them here for all to see))
Sage Control SL-6 rotary launcher 37mm (as seen in Terminator 3 and can be customized to the user's preference)
KS-K 12G box mag fed shotgun
9mm Kriss/TDI Vector
Norinco Type 56 S 7.62x39mm with a 100 round RWB AK drum, reverse dong foregrip, no underbarrel rod, and side-folding Romanian stock (identical to Larry Phillips' Norinco and can be customized to the player's preference)
M1L1 Triple Pulse Assault Rifle (seen in Deep Rising)
M136 AT4 with AN/PVS-4 night vision scope
Akdal MKA1919 12G shotgun (an M16 that only fires shotgun rounds)
9mm Armitage International Scarab Skorpion (this can be used by both righties and lefties as the ejection port is on top of the weapon)
Muzzelite MZ14 Bullpup 5.56×45mm (similar to the one seen in Total Recall)
Explosives:
Old War Electric Shock Grenade (based off of the Magnova Grenade seen in Conker: Live & Reloaded (most likely based off of the RG-42 grenade with non-functional bolts on the side to expel the lightning))
Napalm Hand Grenade (seen in Conker: Live & Reloaded)
IED (two 90mm artillery shells taped with duct tape, wired to one of those old Blackberry smartphones that's double-sided taped to the duct tape strip and boosted by a 9V battery also double-sided taped to the duct tape)
Thin Clown's bomb from Batman Returns
Ramzi Yousef's contact lens cleaning bottle bomb (Casio DBC-62 calculator watch with 2 9V batteries (as seen in the Mayday episode Bomb On Board))
Pipe bomb hand grenades (includes both waffle pattern pipe and a smooth body type pipe)
Heister cosmetics (masks and outfits):
Larry Philips' suit of aramid armor and drum mag pouches (for dressing the heisters) seen in the raw unedited North Hollywood Shootout footage (a 40-pound homemade suit of body armor consisting of a Type III-A bulletproof vest and groin guard; a load-bearing vest (to store box magazines, especially those for the Heckler & Koch M91A3 rifle); multiple military-grade canteen pouches for ammunition storage; and pieces of body armor taken from spare vests, which protected his groin, shins, thighs, and forearms)
Drum Magazine pouches for 100 round Thompson and Chinese AK drums
EpiPen (to replace the current revival syringe model)
Map props:
1936 Harley-Davidson EL "Knucklehead" (since there's a huge variety of sedans, pickups, cargo trucks, semis, buses, and police vehicles, why not include this motorcycle too? BTW, this motorcycle is deemed #1 in helping soldiers conquer WWII. Sometimes, we could use a quick escape. Or a civilian can ride it.)
Melees:
Fictional stun baton from the Class Of The Titans episode Man's Worst Enemy (note: it appears to possess the base body of a bug zapper and the bug zapper is externally wired to a crudely-designed wrench)
Scorpy Max stun gun with a yellow and black caution stripe paint scheme
Billy Club baton
Tonfa baton
Firearm accessories:
100 round Thompson drum and 100 round RWB AK drum (as no game I know utilizes the best capacity drum magazines for small fully automatic weapons used in real life - that also flopped in real life)
ArmaLaser GTO Laser Sight (so I can both have space in my handgun holster to fit my handgun and increase the handgun's accuracy)
Custom 4X8 circular hole slip on barrel shroud/compensator for 9mm weapons (seen on a micro uzi in Batman Returns, Rapid Fire, Total Recall, Predator 2, The Running Man, Class of 1999, Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection, and Hell Comes to Frogtown)
M61A1 20mm Vulcan rotary cannon barrel muzzle clamp flash hider and muzzle brake as used on F4 Phantom (for any rotary barrel weapons)
Intratec AB-10's "cutts-style" compensator for 9mm weapons
M61 Vulcan "Cutts-style" compensator
Polytech RPK recoil "cutts-style" compensator for AK rifles (looks similar to the Thompson Cutts compensator but has circular holes near the bottom)
"Cutts-style" compensators from the Calico M950
Door breaching spiked compensator with round holes (for 12G shotguns)
ST 4-16x50 sniper scope
AT3 Tactical LEOS red dot sight
"Cheese Grater" upper handguard for AK style guns
TLR-1 HPL weaponlight
VASTFIRE tactical laser module (with a visor similar to typical traffic lights)
I sent pictures to both Starbreeze's current email and the old Overkill email to show them what I request to see in Payday 3 after their addition of this Syntax Error heist and weapon pack. I hope they got the email I sent to [

2024.01.31 20:17 ACloseCaller My honest 1 year review of my Tesla MYP 23.
Hey guys I wanted to share my 1 year experience of owning a 2023 Tesla Model Y Performance.
TL;DR the product is brilliant but the execution is very poor. Would not ever purchase again.
I purchased my car in March 2023. It was a little over $67k (includes tax, license & fees). I currently have 33,000 miles on it.
I have taken this car every where, and driven it in extreme temperatures. Here are my thoughts below:
Pros:
- Amazing supercharger network. Second to none. I can always count on finding a charger along my route that works, even in the most rural areas.
- Very easy to drive. As a person obsessed with buttons I was concerned how I was going to transition to a touch screen only and a very minimalist design. The only way I can describe it is like switching from a blackberry to an iPhone. This includes one pedal driving. Once you get used to it, it’s hard to go back. You also realize all the unnecessary distractions found in most cars.
- Software is amazing. Perhaps the best I have seen in any car manufacturer. I believe Tesla can get away without offering Apple CarPlay or Android Auto due to how good their software is. Pretty cool that you can get over the air updates and unlock or improve features in the car.
- Performance is amazing. This car has almost 500 hp, AWD, and gets 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. To stay it’s stupid fast is an understatement.
- Love all the accessories I can buy for the car to make it more personalized to me, and or improve the ride in general.
Cons:
- Poor build quality & quality control. I’m talking about misaligned doors, body panels, interior pieces not put together properly or easily fall apart (sunshade not be able to hold a garage remote without major wear or tear). If you have attention to detail stay far away. Makes me wonder if these are the things I see, then what other very important quality issues that may involve the suspension, control arms or battery that I don’t not see?
- Highly inflated EPA range. This car is rated to go 303 miles on a single charge. However what they don’t tell you is the fine print which reads, *going 55 mph, no wind resistance, a/c, or extra weight. Most I have ever gotten going 84 mph cruise control in the AZ heat was 225 miles.
- Horrible customer service. There isn’t anyone you can call. Everything has to be done in the Tesla app. You send a message or email and wait to hear back. Also service centers are filled with incompetent people. This isn’t just a single service center. I have been to various ones my state. They are all bad. I swear you take the car for one thing and they break two other things in the process.
- Though the performance for the model Y is amazing the turn radius is horrible. My car has a turn radius of a bus.
- The depreciation is real. You will lose lots of money in the first year alone. Don’t ever buy. Only lease if you insist on driving an EV.
- Battery degradation is real. You’re fucked if you buy new or used and exceed 100,000 miles if you drive a lot like me once warranty is gone.
- Because this car relies on technology and cameras so much, a problem with camera (being blocked or turned off due to rain for example) can lead to disabling cruise control, park assist, 360 camera and auto pilot which in my opinion is a flaw in its design.
Feel free to ask me any questions, and I would be more than happy to honestly answer or expand on any points I mentioned.

2024.01.21 04:56 lovesickjones I am happy with Verizon
I previously had Verizon forever ago for a shortwhile when the blackberry torch was a thing.
Of course they had great coverage, but didn't like all the bloatware they put on phones and the Cult in general and the proprietary shit like vz navigator
after some drama with T-Mobile, I lingered around on cricket and then AT&T/FirstNet for a minute but in 2020(?) I found myself back with Verizon.
When I ported over, they gave me a $500 gift card which I used towards my Apple AirPod Max headphones. Had some other credit on the account and ended up making them totally free.
I have remained on the Get More plan. I love it. No complaints.
Disney bundle, Apple music and 50% off my ipad service plus i have a watch. I do get a military discount, but even still, I think they are the best right now.
I do have T-Mobile as well, and they have lots of perks as well (heavy discount on YTTV, Netflix, Paramount+, SiriusXM) but I feel like their insurance and their wearables and tablet costs are a lot higher than Verizon. I did the math and it would cost me a lot more to have what I have now with T-Mobile full-time. Tmobile charges $13 a month for insurance verses $7 with vzw for instance. I do, however use T-Mobile data on my phone instead of Verizon. I also am not getting my information leaked or hacked every time the season changes.
VZW lets me charge $2-400 accessories to my bill. VZW customer service--- they are fair. I will say that. No where near as liberal as T-Mobile but they are fair.
wanted to share some positivity about the company and my experience with them as of late because I do see a lot of people on here complaining but it's usually customer error more than anything else.

2024.01.09 18:06 TeaAndCozy NAVA review batch #6: 20 more Nocturne Alchemy reviews, especially featuring sandalwood and incense
I continue to have the
best time exploring my way through Nocturne Alchemy! My previous NAVA reviews are here:
- Batch #1, my favorites including Alchemist Chamomile, Cardamom Musk, Afternoon Tea Cat, and Eternal Ankh Snow
- Batch #2, my favorites including Honeysuckle Crystalline, Snowy Woolly, and Love & Otters
- Batch #3, my favorites including Crystalline #8 and #9, Eternal Ankh Violet, Butterfly Orange and Butterfly Yellow, Tea Rex, and Peter
- Batch #4, my favorites including Spring '23 Musk, Mourning Tea, Aset's Frangipani Sandalwood, Eternal Ankh Rose de Mai, and Eternal Ankh Summer
- Batch #5, my favorites including Eternal Tut Ankh Amun, Eternal Ankh Labradorite, Masquerade RA, and V by Thoth
Now here's my next 20 reviews for your reading pleasure! In this batch, I include a couple of eNVie decants I've been able to try as well - eNVie Parfum is Nocturne Alchemy's sister company, and eNVie's amber accord Saphir appears in a lot of NAVA perfumes.
NAVA is one of the most expensive houses, and I want to point out that you don't have to buy hundreds of dollars of full-sizes in order to explore their catalog and enjoy their artistry. I owe huge thanks to everyone who has sold or gifted me a decant, sample, or partial bottle. In fact, I have never actually ordered direct from the house myself! My
best advice, if you want to explore NAVA, is to include
freebie sniffies in your Ajevie order. When you check out, there's a text box in which you can ask for NAVAs specifically, and if they're available, they'll send you empty full-sizes! There's almost always still enough left to try, and it's been a great (and fantastically cost-effective) way for me to experience so many of NAVA's perfumes. You don't get to pick what you get, of course, but that in itself has been useful because it has allowed me to try a wide range of NAVA's notes, including some things I wouldn't have picked for myself (as you can see in a few of the reviews below). And then I can include these "empty" bottles as freebies when people order from my own destash - always great to spread the love!
Since folks keep saying it's helpful, I'll recopy my "basics of the NAVA collections" information. NAVA sells three categories of things:
- The Permanent Collection are those scents they always keep around. PC scents are available in small 2-mls (which range in price from $11.50 to $12.50) in addition to the larger full-size bottles. (This is useful because if you're placing an Ajevie order during a NAVA pre-order window, you can get PCs as reasonably affordable add-ons - this is a great way to try some of the most beloved NAVA scents.) Unfortunately, the vanillas are not PCs...
- Which brings us to the second category: Studio Limited scents. SL scents are basically permanent as far as I can tell, but they are not offered in 2-ml small sizes. This is troublesome when you're a newbie NAVA fan trying to learn your way around this house but not spend too much money. Ajevie will occasionally decant SL scents, but only when NAVA adds new ones to a given SL collection. Otherwise, you have to buy full-sizes, or seek a friendly decanter. This is where to find the famous "Vanilla Haven" and "Musk Haven" collections. u/anathemas has tried and reviewed a LOT of the musks (bless you!). u/araelykin of Arae Decantery is working on getting a lot of the Studio Limited scents, especially the Musk Haven, in stock as decants, and already has quite a few available for order.
- The third category is the one that seems to turn a lot of people off from this house: the Limited Edition collections. NAVA is a house that runs on FOMO (fear of missing out). Seasonally throughout the year (Valentines, spring, summer, Halloween, holiday, and so on), NAVA releases a giant Limited Edition collection that is made up of two parts. First, the new scents that year; second, the "Resurgence" scents, which are (most of) the scents newly introduced in the previous year. Thus, a given LE perfume is likely to be around for exactly two years, no more: the first year it appears, and the next year when it's a Resurgence. You can find a fantastically useful archive of NAVA LEs HERE (I refer to that handy website all the time!). On the one hand, this is a decent model because you can theoretically sample in the first year (from Ajevie or Arae, or for much faster shipping since they only deal with NAVA, Crypta Obscura; or by seeking decants/samples from this community a few months later) and then buy more the next year if you love it. The NAVA Facebook group contains really useful review roundup posts if you're wondering what folks think of any of these LE scents. On the other hand, this sales model absolutely encourages a spirit of frantic buying to stave off FOMO. ("Oh no, this is its second year, the scent will be gone forever, I must buy more than I'll ever actually realistically use!") The best advice I've heard is not to worry: NAVA recycles basic combinations a lot, so if you miss a particular perfume, chances are something similar will come around within a couple of years.
eNVie
(From their sister company, eNVie Parfum)
- Bleu Saphir ["Soft opal amber infused with seductive musks and bleu absolutes and hues of colour from herbs, musks and flowers. A bleu saphir shrouded in mystery, evocative and subtle in sensuality. Top Note: Blue Chamomile Absolute, Labdanum, Siam Benzoin, Blue Sumian Lavender and Coral Wood. Heart Note: Blue Cypress, Blue Yarrow Absolute and Blue Tansy infused in Blue Amber and Saphir. Base Note: As the Ambre notes release wood sweetness the Egyptian Amber & Musk Resin purified into natural notes of blue fixtures melding within the journey of the scent carrying chamomile and lavender throughout in fleeting beautiful moments of breath. The woods notes are subtle but hold the perfume up within the olfactory and create an atmosphere of illusion on the skin. Saphir and blue amber, when warmed, create the opulence of a blue opal; the study for this perfume."] - This one made me nervous in the vial, smelling really quite sharp and almost sour. But I tried it anyway, and was extremely pleasantly surprised! It's very much the familiar, lovely, balsamic Saphir paired with floaty blue florals and a haze of soft musks. Extremely long-lasting, even for NAVA, lasting literally all day and into the evening - my morning scent was still my bedtime scent!
- Poivre Saphir [A more exotic subtle spiced potion with black tea that highlights the spices without permeating only spice but balances so beautifully with saphir and vanilla notes that enrich the scent; balsam, benzoin and white tonka bean incense. A scent of transformation.] - It's a really headshoppy incense paired with an absolute extravaganza of chai spices, without any sweetness to them and especially heavy on the black pepper. There's hints of wood and amber, and definitely a taste of balsamic Saphir. Husband smells something chlorinated to this as well, so he doesn't really like it on me. While it's not my favorite autumnal incense, there's something really confident about this scent - and that goes for its volume as well, with really vibrant sillage. "Subtle" this is not. The deep drydown is absolutely to die for, all malty black tea with incense, Saphir, black pepper, and other spices.
- Noir Lyceum [A beautifully spiced cardamom, sweet vanilla-oud-saphir heaven. Delightful perfume notes imported and blended into the eNVie saphir house note. Sweetened with rich tonka, vanilla bean and exquisitely spiced with the highest quality of cardamom and exotic wood of agarwood.] - The opening, with rich warm vanilla and tonka and a vibrant spiced cardamom, is absolutely heavenly, but oh no, within mere moments the oud kicks in. At first just a hint of smoke, totally ignorable, but soon it became full-on barbeque smoke and I just can't. SO SAD.
Permanent Collection
"Bastet's Garden" collection - Blue Lotus Diamond [Rare Blue Lotus, Golden Frankincense, Amber Musk and the charm and faience of Studio Limited - Diamond (Redwood and Cedar)] - I expected the lotus flower and the woodsy notes to fight with each other, but they're a surprisingly harmonious whole! There's a lot of blue lotus with its watery sweetness on top, with warm amber and redwood notes mingling underneath. I don't really love lotus, personally, but folks who like this note should absolutely give this one a try.
"Egypt & Her Wonders" collection - Blue Egypt [Egyptian Blue Lavender Essential Oil, Manuka Lavender, Egyptian and Indian Chamomile Essential Oil, Aloe Vera Absolute, Egyptian Blue Vanilla Bean Whole, Palmerosa Absolute, Languid Lavender Cider and a drop each of Angelica Root and Valerian Root] - A very herbal, almost medicinal lavender paired with a lovely floral chamomile over an indistinctly vanilla-ish musk base. It's extremely calming, basically the perfect sleepy bedtime lavender scent - though it's also gorgeous as a day scent too, which also lets you take advantage of its astonishing, all-day longevity.
"Etherias" collection - Etherian Ambre [Amber (NA Studio Accord), Cola Root, Sarsaparilla Root, Black Patchouli Wood, White Vetiver, Bastet’s Amber Absolute, Vanilla Pod, Cacao Bean and Australian Sandalwood] - A resinous, darkly glowing golden amber dusted with patchouli and oud, like a generous helping of black pepper on a fancy pasta dish. The amber has just a touch of balsamic sharpness to it, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was just a drop of Saphir in this. Like most NAVA ambers, it lasts forever.
Studio Limited
Musk Haven - Black Currant Musk [French Black Currant Absolute, Black Currant skin, California Green Currant leaf, Bastet’s Amber and soft white floral blend of Tuberose, Mallow, Angelica, Musk Flower, and White Lily all blended beautifully into Bastet's Musk base] - I get blackberry more than blackcurrant, which is great for me because I love blackberry notes! It's a dark, juicy blackberry and a ton of ever-so-slightly floral and green undertones, and a ton of super fuzzy, extremely cozy musk. There's no vanilla here but the musk is so soft and sweet that it almost gives that impression. This is everything I wanted Blackberry Kobalt [Egyptian Blackberry, White Musk, Kobalt Vanilla Orchid, Blue Egyptian Basil, Black Honey and a kiss of Blue Sugar] to be (but it wasn't). Like much of the Musk Haven, it's super pretty, quite linear, and short-lived. I bet it would be great for layering.
- Neroli Musk [Neroli (steam distillate) and Orange Flower (enfleurage) extracts, South African Neroli, Egyptian Neroli, aged eNVie saphir, and soft white floral blend of Tuberose, Mallow, Angelica, Musk Flower, and White Lily all blended beautifully into Bastet's Musk base] - The delicate sweetness and velvety white floral of orange blossom with a bitter herbal undertone that I often notice when a perfume lists neroli rather than orange blossom, on a haze of floaty Bastet's Musk. It's very pretty and also extremely fleeting.
- Sandalwood Musk [Egyptian and Indian Sandalwood, Sandalwood chips, Australian Sandalwood, Heartwood, and soft white floral blend of Tuberose, Mallow, Angelica, Musk Flower, and White Lily all blended beautifully into Bastet's Musk base] - Simple and utterly gorgeous. It's a fuzzy, warm, delicate sandalwood that reminds me a LOT of the sandalwood in my beloved Poesie Comfort [Toasted cardamom pods, pink peppercorn, precious resins, sandalwood flower, cashmere blankets, warm vanilla musk], though of course without the cardamom and vanilla. Instead, it's joined here by a Bastet's Musk base and by a touch of lemon, as if there's a palo santo note alongside all the sandalwoods.
- Tibetan Incense Musk [Tibetan Incense accord of lotus blossom absolute, eNVie saphir, White Patchouli absolute, Jasmine essence, Rose petal essence, Vanilla fleck, Frankincense Resin and a sensual skin musk made from soft white floral blend of Tuberose, Mallow, Angelica, Musk Flower, and White Lily all blended beautifully into Bastet's Musk base] - Much fuzzier than Tibetan Crystalline (see below), and the incense not nearly as strong. This one is mostly the soft, silky, vaguely white-floral Bastet's Musk, with whiff of incense accenting it, rather than primarily a strong incense scent. It's really pretty and quite demure.
Originals - Tibetan Crystalline [Deep incense of Indian Nag Champa Studio Blend (Champa, Indian Sandalwood, Benzoin and Henna), Mesua Ferrea Absolute, Aged Crystalline Absolute, Tibetan Musk undertones and soft spirals of pure Bergamot leaf essential oil] - This is pretty much a perfect church incense scent! The incense is deep and mysterious but not overly smoky nor too resinous, and the Crystalline doesn't make it vanilla-ish but just really smooth and lovely. I also get a waxy, almost beeswax candle kind of note, which only enhances the liturgical association for me. It's so fabulous that it feels a little needy to complain about it, but this really does feel like a layering note - a perfect incense fragrance, but one that calls out for another note or two to really turn it into a complete perfume. Nevertheless, I anticipate wearing this SO much, especially in the colder months.
Vanilla Haven - Opal Vanilla [Bastet’s Vanilla Custard accord, Bastet’s Ice Cream Absolute accord, Crystalline Vanilla Absolute, Vanilla Pudding accord, Vanilla Liqueur accord, True Vanilla Absolute from pod/fleck/orchid, French Vanilla Whole Beans pods, Bavarian Crème accord, Vanilla Crème, Vanilla Caramel, Brown Sugar and Vanilla Cookie essence accord] - In the vial, it smells similar to Eternal Tut Ankh Amun [Bourbon Vanille Absolute, Crystalline Absolute, Tonka Absolute, Bastet's Vanilla Bean Absolute accord and White Amber], with its luscious caramel-golden bourbon vanilla, but on my skin an unpleasantly artificial, plasticky buttercream note emerges, and it's so strong that it ruins the fragrance for me. Much too gourmand! Opal Vanilla will head to my destash; meanwhile I washed it off and put on some ETAA and was very happy.
Limited Edition
Halloween 2023 - Crystalline #13 [Crystalline Absolute, Moonflower Accord, Pear skin, Agave Nectar, Amber, Poppy accord, Italian Lemon, Bastet’s Musk Absolute, Allspice, eNVie saphir Absolute, Lotus Blossom, Rose Petal, Jasmine essence, White Patchouli, and French Vanilla Bean] - Another of NAVA's beautiful vanilla-fruity-florals! They do this style so well and I love these in spring. This one is extraordinarily smooth, just super silky, and positively multicolored in its various fruit and floral notes. It's hard to pick out all of them specifically, but I do definitely get red apple, pear, and lemon, plus florals that include rose and that silken moonflower. It's really lovely!
Summer 2023 - Crystalline #11 [Sandalwood Milk accord, Santalum extract, Australian Sandalwood, Sandalwood Chips in Oudh blend, Golden Indian Sandalwood, Kobalt (Studio Limited Originals) Vanilla, Jasmine, Cedarwood, Red Sandalwood and Crystalline (Studio Limited Originals)] - A woodsy-creamy sandalwood and NAVA's lovely vanilla, this one recognizably a mix of Kobalt and Crystalline. It's difficult to say which of the sandalwood or vanilla are stronger because each of them seems the star on alternate sniffs! This is woodsier, more milky, and a little less addictive to my nose than Snowy Woolly [Vanilla essence, Indian Sandalwood, French Vanilla, Coconut Husk, Bastet’s Musk absolute and White Sandalwood], but it's a reasonable alternative if you're looking for the unctuous, gorgeous simplicity of vanilla + sandalwood. A touch of smoky oud comes out in the drydown, which is a welcome addition that makes this scent just a touch more complex.
Spring 2023 - Cardamom & Anise Tea [Black Tea accord, Rich Organic Cardamom oil, Organic Japanese Star Anise oil, Bastet’s Amber, and Skin Musk] - A strongly spiced black tea! I was nervous about the anise since that's not a spice I much enjoy eating or smelling like. Wet, I adore this scent - the anise is but an accent to the gloriously strong cardamom. Alas, like most NAVA cardamoms, it starts to dissipate pretty quickly, and the drydown is a sharp, licorice anise with a mere hint of cardamom, over a really lovely black tea. I'm safe from wanting to buy more of this when it returns next spring! But I think I'll keep and use my sample - there are surely days when I'll be happy to wear such strong anise so that I can also have the lovely black tea and cardamom notes. Incidentally, my rabbit Hemlock HATES this one and ran away from me when I wore it!
- Encens Bois de Santal [Australian Sandalwood absolute, New Caledonia Sandalwood, Sweet Santalum Album, White Sandalwood, Sweet Sandalwood Incense accord, Incense accord, and Bastet’s Musk] - A deep, dark, woodsy sandalwood paired with a really lovely incense. It's beautifully autumnal even if not terribly original or memorable. Sadly it's short-lived for NAVA, which I'm surprised by because their incense and sandalwood both tend to last all day on me, but not here. Gorgeous though.
Summer 2022 - REX [Limestone Amber accord, Amber, eNVie saphir absolute, Bastet’s Amber absolute, Bourbon Vanille Absolute and NA Jurassic Amber accord] - I went into this with some trepidation - the one other time I'd tried a NAVA with their limestone accord (it was one of the dinosaurs), it went all band-aidy on me. Newly applied to my skin, and for about an hour afterwards, this was a very pleasant surprise: a really warm, sandy amber with a subtle sweetness to it and a bit of that balsamic amber Saphir. Husband liked it too, and said he definitely got a distinct "marble" stone note from it (I didn't - marble feels "cool" to me whereas this was reading as very warm and sandy, more sandstone than limestone but definitely not marble). Alas, a couple of hours into its wear, it developed a whiff of that latexy band-aid quality. Boo. I guess I can now cross off any NAVA with a limestone note...but if their limestone works for you, gosh this is such a pretty combination with the Saphir and all the other ambers.
Holiday 2019 - Incense Chai [Creamed Incense accord, Chai Black Tea and spices of Allspice/Clove/Nutmeg, Sweet Myrrh Resin, Vanilla dust, Vanuatu Santal, Bastet’s Musk] - Ummmmfff, what a delicious autumn incense perfume! This incense accord is awfully close to my beloved NCD cathedral incense, and here it's paired beautifully with a low-tannic black tea and an amazing well-balanced blend of chai spices (not too much cinnamon or nutmeg or clove, but just right). There's enough vanilla and musk to provide a solid base, but those aren't the stars. Oh how tragic, this was from Holiday 2019 and long gone so it'll be hard to find some more after this little Ajevie slink runs out...
Valentines 2019 - Gray Bunny [Cream Soda Accord, Coconut Milk, Pink Peppercorn, NA Bourbon Vanille Absolute, Sweetgrass, Heliotrope and Neroli] - I'd never tried NAVA's cream soda note before, but wow, it's definitely cream soda! Fizzy, sugary, and slightly caramelized. It is paired here with with some indistinct florals and a vanillic marshmallow, and a hint of pink pepper. It's not enough of a peppery kick to cut through the several sugar notes, though, at least for me - it ends up being a pretty gourmand scent overall.
Halloween 2016 - Pumpkin Crystalline Chai [Decadent Indian Chai Tea Spices, Indian Black Tea, Pumpkin Tea (NA accord), Pumpkin flesh, all swirling in a rich cauldron of Crystalline Vanilla] - A very tonka-hay sort of pumpkin, with the standard autumn spices (heavy on the cinnamon) and nondescript vanilla base (my nose doesn't identify it as Crystalline specifically). This feels extremely fall-candley - it reminds me a lot of the Voluspa Spiced Pumpkin Latte candle I loved to burn in autumn before I realized I'm slightly allergic to candles and had to get rid of all of mine. As it turns out, I'm slightly allergic to this perfume too - the cinnamon caused a skin reaction. I don't get much tea; perhaps NAVA has improved their black tea notes since 2016. I'm utterly delighted to have had the chance to try this - it had been on my wishlist for quite some time! - and also a bit relieved to not love it (and thus feel the impulse to try to seek out more of what would undoubtedly be a difficult one to find).

2024.01.05 00:30 Seglem I hope this comes for the s22/23/24 ultra!
If the hardware layout has some consistency, like many of the iPhones tend to have, we can also get amazing accessories like this one. You typically can double the market audience you can sell to by fitting to two generations. That's why I hope the s24 ultra have as similar dimensions as previous as possible.
I'd like a slide version, like the blackberry priv. A flip-down-cover with it inside would also be nice 😍
