Moreover, as I'm reading his proposal, it has the benefit of fully terraforming Mars to the point of a breathable atmosphere (~240 mbars of oxygen). Obviously the solar mirrors required would be massive (10s of thousands of kilometers) but given how thin such mirrors would be, you're only talking on the order of tens of millions of tonnes of asteroidal material processed (Phobos and Deimos are conveniently right there). You'd also have the side benefit of creating long canals for linking together lakes and seas, just as the 19th century astronomers envisioned! Except instead of Mars as a dying world, we'd be bringing it to life.

I've been studying the cannabis sector since November, and i would like to give a brief DD on my thoughts. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL, JUST A DUDE WHOS TIRED AND REALLY LIKES WEED. This saying I might be wrong on some points and this is only my opinion at 2AM. 2019-2021: We already know the sector has tanked since 2021 and Canada's announcement into the industry. As some like INCR might have lost momentum from terrorist attacks in Isreal, others like SNDL had a "meme" approach into the U.S Cannabis Debt (SunSteam I believe its called). The important thing is companies overproduced, lost their competitive advantages, and had horrible timing. Whatever the various reasons are, almost the entire sector has taken a hit. Now when you bring up investing to the company, everyone will say "its to risky and has no moat" and yes this is true...or is it?
2023-2024: As vaporizers have had a dominating approach into the market, cannabis "carts" are exposing the younger generations to an easier, "odorless", and convenient way to expose themselves to THC. Think as them as a gateway into the industry, and just like a Juul it exposes new audiences into the market and could create long term relationships. Not only has cannabis found new ways to be innovative, but the industry has seen an unreal amount of new consumers the past decade. And this will only keep growing as we keep removing world wide restrictions overtime like Germany.
Past 6 Months: A new wave of young investors are ready to begin their journeys, now that trading is easier then ever. More then likely they're going to consider cheap stocks as they get high *cough cannabis*. Now im being bias, but coming from this generation shit feels high and im broke. Why would I invest $10 into META right now compared to SNDL? Theirs no doubt the sector has been seeing some of its most profit in years, And as the FDA rescheduling comes into play more then likely by this summer, its only a matter of time until the sector moons.
The Future: Im not a physic but I do have some judgements and opinions about the future of the cannabis sector. Firstly, long or short term many etfs like MSOS or YOLO look incredibly great right now. It'd be safer to play ETF's in the sector for long term investments. This is because of the incredibly small amount of tradable stocks in the sector. Few if any cannabis stocks are American companies, with the majority being Canadian or in the EU. With the amount of competition in the sector, there is a possibility we could see more American cannabis stocks listed on the NASDAQ exchange. Competition is already a killing factor within the industry, a flood of American ipo's could cause more viability in the market, and potential damage or benefit certain stocks.
Final Thoughts: With all this said, I completely understand the fear and hesitance people get when considering investing into the sector. There are many many risky factors, past issues, and future threats. But do NOT let that discourage you from investing just $5 long term. The sector is comparably undervalued compared to how overvalued CGC and Aurora was in 2021. For short term people are anticipating for the FDA reschedule, this would seriously open many doors and more profitable opportunities for the sector. Now the competition needs to be controlled for federal distribution and other meanings. The sector will only gain more popularity overtime=more profit.

Planet/Species Fact: Giengar are omnivores. They gain this power by consuming mushrooms from warmer, jungle biomes that contain spores which has a similar effect to targets that breathe them in (though less concentrated and ends with less fatalities). Giengars are immune to these spores so during the warmer seasons they migrate to the jungle to consume high amounts of these mushrooms to expel their spores in large concentrations during hunting season. Normal Ashe that occupy these jungles stay away from the dangerous arctic biomes the Giengars hunt in, so to them the Giengar are seen as harmless. Since even if the Giengars try to use the spores against them, the conditions aren’t lethal and the lack of the Ashe’s adrenaline won’t inhibit their ability to recognize their condition and react accordingly instead of wasting their energy fighting.

Planet/Species Fact: While Ovivine can talk and mimic sentient emotions its only purpose is to gain the trust of prey as a mere predatory mechanism, their brains aren’t capable of deeper introspective thought or sentience when alone. Sabter are worn of the Ovivine though largely they are seen as myth with how very few sightings they are and how little the Ovivine are actually active due to their slow metabolism. So many Reffox head off to other cultures/planets to use their learned skills to be able to make an identity of themselves, whether it be an athlete a performer, a warrior, a hero, or in some cases a criminal or ruler.   • Specifically in the Omnitrix after retransformation original rankensain body parts will dematerialize and all new attached body parts from detached bodies will fall off.

Planet/Species Fact: Body parts are the Rankensains main currency. While most body parts are gathered from hunted animals on their world. Rankenstains have developed interplanetary transportation to gather valuable alien body parts. Often by nefarious methods like warfare, grave robbing, or even homicide, making them a disdained and feared species across multiple planets. There are labs made to create clones of existing limbs to replace active hunting to remove the need for travel, but with how often exploration is used and how slow the cloning process is, Rankensains still commonly hunt aliens for their limbs as part of a darker slightly underground culture. To get around their negative reputation, Rankensains would remove their own brains and implant them into other bodies to disguise themselves.

Planet/Species Fact: Initially Ansartyu were seen as pets of another more human-like species called the Shotogun and as intelligent as their owners. However, eventually the Shotogun would discover their ability to tap into their own personal well of the same chi-like energy and start practicing it for various means. However back then only a handful of masters would be able use it, and only at a very basic level. Until one Shotogun prince discovered that his treasured Ansatryu was able to tap into and unlock further levels of mastery. With this knowledge the prince learned from his Ansatryu and developed a closer bond with it, even teaching his pet higher levels of intelligence as he was taught further mastery of chi. Later he would teach others how to learn from their Ansatryu and his own Ansatryu will give intelligence to others of his species, leading to the point where Ansatryu are now partners living in the same world as the Shotogun in relative harmony.

Species/Planet Fact: Arthmo is an artificial species created from a combination of alchemy and engineering by a master at both, commissioned by a great king. They were meant to be used as weapons of warfare and even companions. However an enemy army raided the kingdom, and killed both the lord and creator after the first Arthmo woke up. So the lab was well hidden so the Arthmo followed the instructions of its creator and created more of it, and slaying the enemy army. Now they defend the remaining members of their kingdom to allow it to rebuild. However, rumor has it that a surviving enemy found the original Arthmo lab.

Species/Planet Fact: The spotted biological materials that generate the Dalmate’s projectile “spots”, is a shared trait amongst a handful of different Cereberence animal species and even some plant life. Those species has a spot of a different color that was meant harm all other species/subspecie for predation or predator avoidance. Other species that don’t have this projectile ability do have spotted patterns on them to warn predators, or even create similar marks on objects to protect territory by intimidation.To weaponize their own “spots” Dalmate tribes would farm different animals and use them in different methods that changes their spot markings to battle other tribes with their own spot slinging skills to prevent it from being simply absorbed into its targets body.

• Able to enhance another object allowing an Ally to gain a similar weapon and the same powers of an Usegin except the ability to enchant other objects.

Weaknesses

• Only able to utilize one weapon at a time
  • Applies to allies, they can only utilize their chosen object
• Takes a while to enchant another object for an ally after the first
• After an allies enchanted objects breaks they lose their gained abilities
  • Ally abilities also go away when the Omnitrix Transformation ends

Planet/Species Fact: Lunakessho is a magical planet where all the inhabitants would practice magic, protected by an order of Usegin knights. However dark forces used by villains and monsters would arise practicing this dark magic and almost threatened to corrupt the universe. The Usegin order managed to fight them off but with a threat on that kind of scale and some remaining presence of their enemies they decided to seal of the planet into another realm. However, now there is an occult group mages summoned the order on various points of different moons using a ritual that was meant to be used in case they’re needed. While the Usegin heroes did manage to get involved in their traditional hero work. They’ve learned too late that this ritual will eventually corrupt them once all the full rituals is complete, and they’re powerless to stop them. So they now go to various planets and recruit and train other magical warriors to stop them when the time comes.

❓Mudei alguns poderes que tinham sugerido. Tinham falado pra eu pegar um parceiro, mas achei melhor pegar a magia conjurar monstro que no final vai me ajudar a flanquear e fazer outras coisas (além de fazer mais sentido pro role play do personagem), mas mecanicamente posso está enganado.
❓Outro ponto que queria uma sugestão além de ajudar com poderes que eu posso pegar em níveis futuros ou mudar os que eu apresentei, eu também queria saber se a ordem desses poderes por níveis tá legal, ou se eu posso priorizar pegar um primeiro do que o outro pra funcionar mais rápido ou ser melhor pro gasto de mana.
❓Eu estava em dúvida tbm sobre o golpe Pessoal, especificamente como eu posso fazer ele já que eu tenho algumas opções de armas que eu poderia usar. Sendo: Maçã (no role play seria um grande cachimbo), Adaga, Azagaia, Arpão. Pra mim qualquer escolha aqui seria muito dahora, vejamos o que eu havia pensado.
• MAÇÃ: pegar como as melhorias harmonizada (-1pm), material especial adamante (aumentar dano em um passo) Pro Golpe Pessoal desse poderia ser algo mais comum: Elemental + Brutal + Sacrifício. Mas eu tbm havia pensado nisso: Elemental + Amplo + Sacrifício(ou lento). Esse segundo golpe Pessoal, seria como uma pancada tipo bola de fogo? Mas eu achei que talvez não valesse tanto a pena, posso está engano ou não fiz da maneira correta.
• ADAGA: esse lance da adaga na verdade é pq eu não queria ter a sensação de ter pego esse poder do estilo de arremesso em vão… tinham me respondido em outro post, algo sobre usar o golpe Pessoal em mim mesmo com o conjurar. O exemplo que a pessoa me deu foi, resumidamente — Você pega conjurador no golpe Pessoal, coloca na adaga, escolhe uma magia exemplo alterar tamanho, e usa na adaga que está como segunda arma, assim você usa em vc mesmo e altera o seu tamanho — a forma que ele mostrou foi muito boa e ele deu um exemplo de como ficaria no role play, que também ficou muito bom e fez sentido. Entretanto pro meu personagem e o estilo dele e do combate dele, eu só consegui imaginar a magia, Velocidade ( que não é ruim) mas eu queria algo como o salto dimensional, mas não sei se ficaria legal (penso usar de inspiração aquela kunai do Minato tlgd)... Enfim se tiverem alguma sugestão sobre, a vontade.
• AZAGAIA: sobre ela eu não pensei muito por enquanto, apenas sei que queria que fosse uma arma encantada com talvez dançarina ou arremesso, e se possível harmonizada como uma melhoria. Agora como o golpe Pessoal poderia entrar aqui eu não cheguei nessa parte ainda kkkk.
• ARPÃO: o arpão foi uma arma que eu achei muito dahora várias possibilidades, mas depois reparei que tinha algumas questões em sua mecanicamente, por exemplo o fato de vc caso falhe no teste de força perder a arma ou coisa do tipo, não lembro exatamente agr. Mas sei que se o arpão tivesse algum encanto, melhoria e juntasse com o golpe Pessoal, poderia criar algo interessante, não?
No final das contas fico dividido entre, o personagem ficar focado no cachimbo/maçã, ou faço ele com adagas com magias pra ser versátil, ou foco em uma e faço tipo a flecha do yondu ou a arma do king de Nanatsu, ou se pego o cachimbo e coloco um azagaia. Agora só consigo pensar nessas possibilidades kkkkk.

JUST before he slices the sword above Tahoumaru's head, there is an imaginary silhouette of Dororo behind him. This is in episode 24, when he recalls all the people he met along the way— Mio and the children, her death, the hole in Saburota's heart, the mother who attempted to sacrificed herself, and cupping Dororo's cheeks. It's like he was trying to understand and make sense of all the encounters with the limited senses he has, and what it truly means to be human.

I watched this for the millionth time now, because frankly I'm addicted and everytime I watch it I notice something different each time. It's wonderful, I thought I saw a white haze behind him in between. I paused and was in shock— how did we miss this?
I have seen many people say that the show should be called 'Hyakkimaru', and Dororo is a useless character, or even an annoying brat. I wholeheartedly disagree. The reason why Hyakkimaru became human in the end, and not a blood-thirsty ronin, and why he understood what humanity and relationships mean, was because of that child.
Kannon— the Buddha who is the protector of childbirth, I would like to think when the idol sacrificed its head, it sent that child to him to vaporize those demonic embers in Hyakkimaru, by teaching what being human is. Children are pure beings, brimming with positivity even during harsh times. I think it's very philosophical. Dororo is called Dororo, because she was in fact who stuck by his side no matter what.
Had the deal not been made, Hyakkimaru would have already known what it feels like to have a family.

As the title suggests, my experience with the Xperia 5 IV has been a mixed bag. While most discussions center around the display, I believe there are other valid concerns that also merit attention.
1) Fingerprint Sensor Issues
The fingerprint sensor was often gone missing up until the 4th generation. I'm not sure if the new phones have addressed this issue. Did they change the supplier or improve the durability of the sensor?
2) Auto Mode Processing
How effective is the current auto mode? In the Xperia 5 IV, the auto mode processing was fairly basic and somewhat inferior when compared to its peers. Will this remain an issue in the Xperia 1 VI as it competes head-to-head with Samsung and Apple at 1400€ price bracket?
3) Display Quality
Is there a potential for display issues akin to the "light sabers" effect? The Xperia 1 series has never had this issue, but I am concerned about how the 1080p resolution might recall the nightmares of the Xperia 5 II and 5 III.
4) Mobile Data Connectivity During Calls
No matter what I tried, I couldn't prevent mobile data from disconnecting during calls on my Xperia 5 IV. Will this issue persist with the Xperia 1 VI?
5) Throttling Concerns
According to GSMarena's tests, the performance did not look promising, even with the new vapor chamber cooling system.
Strengths:
1) Battery
The most significant improvement is in battery life. It is far ahead of the Xperia 1 V and better than most competitors.
2) Zoom
The zoom capability has been extended to 7.1x. Although the quality at 3.5x is superior, it is still a notable feature, especially since the video quality from GSMarena is impressive even without manual controls (I believe there are no pro controls for video yet).
3) LTPO display
The switch to an LTPO display is a welcome change, although I was disappointed by the shift from 4K to FHD as I expected it to change from 4K to QHD.
4) Improved quick settings
The new tiles have the look of Android 11 style, which is a welcome since the stock android tiles waste a lot of space and it is not so good(in my opinion). I am not sure why they didn't put the same tiles for Android 14 users V and IV series users.

As when clouds ran faster than they should, bright orange bullets rain upon the other side. Their caliber, even as seen so far away, was clearer that our lead bullets was dwarfed greatly. Trenches belonging to the other side, once the bane of our daily lives, converted into craters no different than the swathes of No Man's Land standing between us, as if it naturally engulfs them, embracing the man-made structures with mud, water and ash. As if God was indeed real and amongst us, and it is a foolish endeavor to earn their ire.
When vapors and smoke finally settles, the land beyond our trench was bereft of life. And what supposed to be our jubilee, we can only stare in fear and obedience, the structure that was slowly reaching on us these past years, reduced to mounds and craters of mud.
Another bullet drops, this time so close to our trenches, big enough to be a piece of artillery.
"At ease you sod, the war is over, look at your watch" the squeaking of sergeant grows quieter by the second. All of us too stunned at the metal pods hitting just few meters from ours, and if it weren't for the whistle blaring on our ears, we would've taken action, done something.
And the pods burst, one being cladded in armor too intricate to be designed by hands emerge from every pod. Their stature impossibly tall, matching that of buildings back home, and their guns was equally baroque, they're gripping them lightly.
One being relaxed their gun-hand at the sight of carnage before them, before spinning their heels to us. Maria, in a panic shot at the bulge of the armor, and we were too late to stop her. The being was covered by their head armor too, but we can see it glance down on us as the bullet ricochet from her, returning back between Maria's cranium. Fate was no longer generous.
The being pulls their piece of armor on their head, bright and sublime pale hair flow gracefully out of her, with sharp eyes scanning across the trench.
"So it seems, a friendly fire was it not?" she turns to the other of her being, on which they nod. She turns back to us, looking for our sergeant it seems "To whom you answer your command to?"
"Gov'ness, we have been expecting of you" he shoves some people, climbing up the trench intending to make friendly gesture to her "my name is Casimir, dearest Gov'ness, and these are the proud men and women of Narodow, express our grandest gratitude to you"
"Amusing, you still clung to your planetary identity, and a primitive one at that" sergeant was taken aback, and it earned him some grin with occasional scoffs "no longer are you child of your nation, nor are you of Moravia, you now pledge your allegiance to great unifier of man, to the Grandest Imperium and to His Majesty, the Emperor" her words travel across the trench, demanding every drop of our obedience lest we face the same way Maria did.
It didn't take long for us to disband the trench, we were eager albeit skeptical of the end of war, yet when it did happened, all hands came to pick up leftover ammunition, supplies, food and barbed wires. None was seen slowing down, as they pack it on top of horses.
But I did slow down, it took great measure before the dam in my eye could flooded, ruining my soot-stained face. I kneel before Maria, gathering her hands and her rifle, placing on top of her cold body, before closing her eyes. It took even greater measure not to crumble at this.
"Casimir told me" a familiar and regal voice came up to me "for what's its worth, you have my most sincere apology" her gigantic palm came to envelop my back, a thing that I'd hope to be a friendly pat in the back

Hey y’all!
We’re on the journey to hopefully buy a home. Our inspection came back and it mentioned there’s some cracks in the crawlspace (settling?), mentioned the hvac is a couple years past its life cycle, the roof has a few more years in it, and the appliances are original as well (house built in 2008). There was a little water in the crawlspace when the inspector was inspecting and when we got the photos back, we noticed the vapor barrier was changed from when we saw it originally (read: saw the house Sunday early afternoon and the inspection was a 4 days after and we had a big storm in the midst of that)! Luckily my husband got a photo when we first looked at the house and…sheesh! It showed a 2-3 foot tall water line across the whole vapor barrier. Turns out the city had to do some work in there back in 2010 and it’s been fine since…but still.
Our realtor got a guy to come look at the crawlspace and give us a quote for fixing the cracks and what not. While we’re waiting on the report back from that, we’re a bit bummed that we may or may not have any actual negotiation space, other than closing costs. Currently we’re $26k over asking with an $18k appraisal gap. As far as I’m concerned, that seems like a pretty good amount to negotiate with-however, our realtor said “legally” we can’t do anything with the gap at this moment…how true is that? She also said we can’t be like “hey, the roof will possibly need replacing in a few years” as the sellers probably won’t go for that and that we need actual quotes for repairs. Obviously this is our first time buying a house and we’re feeling frustrated, stuck, uncertain.
Maybe this is just a vent session? Maybe I’m looking for a “actually you can negotiate xyz?”…waaaaa! Any advice, points to consider, or jokes-send it on!

I have a cabin that is raised off the ground about 6’. It’s built on a pier and beam and the crawl space under is just dirt and the walls of the crawl space are 2x4 that are spaced out with a 1/2 inch or so to let air come in and out. I’ve read putting down a vapor barrier could help reduce the humidity but with the open air between the 2x4s would that even help?

Seeking advice. I'm debating between 2 companies for a new heat pump install, replacing an old gas furnace with no A/C. Company 1 has 2 options that we're considering, company 2 has 1 option we're consdiering. Both have more options but these fall into the price point and form factor we're looking for given the space.
Each option from 1 to 3 steps up about $2k in price. Otherwise all other items seem roughly equivalent. I'm in coastal Nor Cal where extreme ends of temp are 20F to 100F, but almost never below 25F and never above 90F. House is a 2 story, 1680sq ft home, with fairly recent double pane windows and standard dry walled walls.
Trying to figure out if hyper heat is worth it in option 3, if we go with 1 or 2, if the 19 SEER and the series of unit is worth the extra $2k. Also if there are any notable differences in performance. Any differences in quality/longevity / maintenance is also a consideration, especially because option 3 also has 2 more years of warranty due to company 2 being a diamond Mitsubishi partner.
The air handlers are also different model numbers, though not sure how much that plays into any decision.

Leaky pipes
If my crawlspace flooded due to a busted pipe, and it was enough for my vapor barrier to start floating, what kind of damage am I looking at?
I’ve already started to pump the water out, and I have a fan and dehumidifier ready to go once it’s done, is there anything else I should do? Do I need to have a new vapor barrier installed? Should I worry about water damage?
Any answers/advice would be greatly appreciated.
