The graphics were a bit more advanced than Fighting Force. It may have even been FPS but not sure. The first mission starts in an elevator and you go up onto a rooftop with your character, and the other 3? The colour scheme was very dull. Lots of greys and black, it may have been raining also. At some point in this mission you can take control of an RC car and drive it under a gap to get access to the next room. The squad you are a part of may have had guns also. Almost like special ops/task force. I vividly remember starting in an elevator or at least starting on the rooftop. Like I said the game used a dull pallet of colours. I really hope this is enough.

I've just finished my 4th playthrough to NG+10, and thought I'd share for those of you coming back.
There's not much more annoying than when your quest breaks, and you can't complete a temple -- they're already annoying enough!!
I've discovered a couple things.
1) If a Temple spawns on a planet you've already landed on it will usually bug out. 2) If you board a ship in orbit of the Temple Spawn planet, it will usually bug out. 3) If it's a discovered temple, it can bug out if you don't go to it right away (especially if you go get another "vlad temple" in between"
SO -- Avoid Planets with Temple Spawns until you spawn their temples
THIS is the complete list of planets that *CAN* have a temple.
I use a great resource/outpost planning spreadsheet, and reddit post that explains how build 24 outposts that can produce every harvestable resource in the game
The notable planets from the list that you need to avoid until you get the temple to spawn and/or force it:
Bessel III-b (This is always my "free" 24th one) Ixyll II Linneaus II
ETA is always the temple you first get when Vlad tells you about them.
Alpha is the one you pulled from Vectera, and Sigma is the one that Barrett got from Ka'zaal.
Bessel III-b is one of the best starter outpost planets, bar none. I make an outpost there every NG, so I have all the creds, and XP I could need.
BUT it's a Temple planet.
SO what to do?!?! -- FORCE THE SPAWN EARLY!!
As soon as Vlad gives you the location of the first temple, ignore it! (Unless it's Bessel III-b).
If you are in NG, and you're not doing the "rejoin constellation questline",then the>! same six planets are given to you for artifact locations every single time. Go to Bessel III-a FIRST, and it will spawn the temple on III-b -- go to the temple before doing anything else!!<
OK.. so NOW -- GO TO BESSEL III
The "oh yeah, there's a temple in this system, go git it" will happen, and the temple (Always Alpha if you're doing like I suggested, and going here first).
THEN set up your starter outpost as outlined by Vash Cowaii
It takes a little practice, but I'm at ~30 hits or so on creating that outpost.
First "NG0" I do that as he outlined. NG1-10 I do it a little modified as i outlined HERE

I installed the latest version of onion then dragged over my own collection of roms and bios files on a 256 samsung evo plus. changed the theme and played a few games (arcade, PS1 and SNES). After a day or 2 it now boots to an unlit black screen after the Miyoo splash (no onion splash). If i take the card out or put the stock card back in it starts up normally. Card seemingly uncorrupted and is writing/reading fine. Is the answer just starting from scratch with onion or is there an easy fix i'm missing. Thanks.

I've been to one offline tournament and just entered my first online one tonight at Can Opener. First one I went 1-2 but effectively 0-2 since my one win was a DQ. My first command grab got jumped and I lost confidence in my gameplan and broke down from there and never recovered. Tonight, I also went 0-2, this time from dropping a shit ton of combos, not reacting to DI, and getting flustered and doing the incorrect oki.
During the game, my heart's pounding, my hands are shaking, and I can barely think about the game itself.
I don't really have this problem at all in environments that I feel like are low stakes - playing online with friends, playing at locals, playing Ranked.
What can I do here? Anyone have advice on how to calm myself down and start actually trying to execute my gameplan instead of just flailing about?

I am sorry for the post earlier which is seen as a rant but that is not my intention, and I am so sorry to everyone here po.
I am planning to get a new phone which is planned na po and ang nilaan na budget ay 30k (di ko po pinagmamagaling) and yes mostly used for gaming kaso di na po ako ganun kasyado naglalaro like mga 1-2hrs lang ang inaabot ko na ngayon and may one game nalang ako which is a gacha game called Arknights (Tower Defense game)
Why is it planned? My mother is pressuring me time to time to get a new one a long time ago and when my phone (Samsung A52 5G) gets busted (which happened unfortunately after 4 years that I thought will last) they will buy me a new phone po.
Snapdragon is not just for gaming but also a much better processor po and minsan po kinakalkal ko po yung phone ko which is doable mostly on Snapdragon chips po
okay lang po ako sa Mediatek which is what I have on my hand-me-downs OPPO phones from my mother upto F11
kaya ko rin po naiisip na isagad kase naka Iphone po pamilya ko which is I thought, it is time na para ako naman ang mamili nang akin na hindi hand-me-downs
ang una nilang sinuggest sakin ay S23 FE which is fine for me kaso yung Exynos chip ang problema ko po and ang una kong sinuggest ay S23 vanilla na naka Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and also yung Camera (for school puposes and documentation) rin po nya pero di kaya which is understandable and di ko sila pipilitin kaya tumungin po ako nang iba

I have the rg505. works fine. I love that thing. but I want a 4:3 vertical device. the rg405v is too large for me so I thought about getting the 353v.
I'll probably use android most of the time cuz I'm comfortable with it. I was just wondering if this can run easy to run ps2 and gamecube games like the phantasy star generation 1-2 and dragon quest V.
edit: also, how is the wifi performance? Can you use this to gamestream via xcloud?

Di post ini, aku mau cerita bedasarkan kisah nyata dari sebagian besar orang yang pernah ngobrol sama aku (plus dengan pengalamanku pas bersama mereka) dan mungkin ini bisa menggerakkan hati atau kita makin positif sih. Ada 2 cerita yang bakalan aku bahas, dan kalian bisa pilih aja mau cerita mana yang mau kalian baca. And ofc, i make it short to save everyone's time.
The story has 2 perspective : Gojek, dan Tukang parkir (niatnya mau ada tambahan 1 lagi, yaitu cerita tentang guruku.. maybe next time i guess.)
Let's start with Gojek.
Gojek Kejadian ini terjadi pasca tahun 2021-an (kalo ga salah). Ceritanya, Sahabat jauh dari solo pulang ke sentul dan aku main sama beliau sambil ngobrol bareng kondisi-nya disana. Kami bercengkrama sampai dengan jam 8 malam, dan aku memutuskan untuk pulang (karena nyokap udah nyariin). Aku akhirnya dianterin pulang dengan mobil nyokap sahabatku yang kebetulan lagi satu jalan dari AEON. tapi, aku denger kabar kata-nya bokap-nya temen tiba-tiba sakit dan Nyokap-nya perlu beli obat. Aku nawarin untuk nemenin beli obat + nunjukin apotik terdekat, tapi akhirnya aku cukup minta diberhentiin aja di Lampu merah dekat CCM. Karena aku takut-nya mengganggu juga + takut pulang kemaleman. Cukup ucapan semoga cepat sembuh, dan akhirnya pergi ke kantor polisi perempatan CCM buat pesan Gojek.
Jujur, aku kaget ketika yang dateng ketika pesen Gojek yang dateng adalah perempuan. Aku ga permasalahin kamu kerja jadi apa... tapi dengan kondisi malem seperti ini dan beliau berani narik Gojek? oh my. That's a daring move and deserve my respect. Tapi pas aku mau naik, beliau bilang.. ini baru pertama kali dia ambil pesanan malem-malem dan kebetulan aga capek (kalo ga salah inget). Aku tawarin untuk ngendarain motornya (it was a scoopy. its has good handling but slow as snail speed. but it has good fuel economy. hehe, maaf terlalu mendiskripsikan motornya).
Kami ngobrol di jalan dong... tanya-tanya abis ngapain dan ini itu. Sampai aku nanya ke beliau "Ibu kenapa mau kerja jadi Go-Jek?". Beliau dengan lumayan santai-nya bilang something along like "Karena ada-nya ini pada saat ini, dan saya harus membiayain kedua anak saya". Aku sambil mengucapkan maaf nanya kepada beliau "Maaf bu, saya kalo boleh nanya.. Suami ibu apakah tidak kerja?". Beliau bilang "Suami saya kabur". That bring a chill on my spine... karena ini ngobrol secara langsung. Beliau bela-belain Nganter barang sampai malam, dan bahkan nyoba nge-gojek. it's somewhat shows how mother figure should always be. She wants nothing but her kids to become succeed and didnt end up like her.
And today 2024, i share her story to here... it shows that maybe even at the very rock bottom, you cannot see down but only up. and you need to keep on going whatever your situation is.
okay, Mari kita langsung aja cerita kedua.
Tukang Parkir Mixue Miksu (ga boleh nyebut merek meskipun keliatan dikit, atleast its for the sake of the funni)
Nah, ini sebenarnya kejadian yag masih baru-baru banget. Cerita-nya ini abis ngampus.. Karena lagi kepengen makan eskrim, pergilah aku ke Miksu deket Sate Tegal Laka-laka yang ada di cibinong. Kebetulan disitu ada tukang parkir (yang kebetulan sering ketemuan dan dia ramah).. ngobrol lah aku sama beliau. He give me many wise words dan saran sebelum beranjak ke dunia yang bener-bener dewasa. it was all fun and game.
But then, i ask him... "Tapi pak, dengan pemikiran dan wawasan yang luas. Kenapa bapak jadi tukang parkir?" He said ketika beliau di pelabuhan tanjung priuk, dulunya dia kerja sebagai pengangkut barang dan disukai sama bos-nya karena etos kerja-nya yang tinggi (Sambil nunjukin kertas kerja-nya, dan dokumen penting lainnya ketika kerja di pelabuhan tanjung priuk. I was surprised how did he trust me to the point to show me this). He got paid handsomely, dan dia kerja dari pagi ke pagi. Sampai ketika orang dalam plays along dan kompetisi yang ga sehat mulai masuk. Dia suka disenggol dan begitu sebagai-nya... dan bahkan sudah berfikir kalo sebagai pengangkut barang udah bukan passion dia lagi (karena terkadang dia mesti berantem pas ngangkut barang di jalan entah sama pungli, dll).
Dan dimasa dimana dia udah kepala 5 atau 6 ini (kalo ga salah). Dia hanya ingin meninggal dengan tenang aja. Dia bilang sama aku "Keinginan muda dan tau pasti berbeda. Semakin kamu tua, kamu semakin belajar kalo dalam hidup itu ga semuanya bisa kamu dapatkan. tapi kamu ga boleh nyerah, dan harus tekun".
He's respectable person... even as tukang parkir. Maybe some people doesnt have a choice and ended up like him. Bahkan orang berjasa kayak beliau aja di-injek". like damn..... Hope he's having a good day

I'm looking to see if there's a list of PS2 games that work, have issues and flat-out don't work on my CECHC03 PS3. It's the system that only has the Graphics Synthesiser chip in it.
Years ago, I recall Sony having a list themselves but that's long gone. I see the psdevwiki has a list for PS2 Classics, so I'm hoping there's a list of similar for BC/semi BC compatible PS3s like mine.

Basically games you thought were bad or you wouldn't like that ended up surprising you in a positive way after playing them or even changed your game taste. For me that would be Timesplitters Future Perfect for the PS2. I wanted to buy a bunch of games from a guy and that game was in there, I didn't want it really but he said if I took everything I would get a discount so why not buy it too. I don't like shooters on consoles because I can't aim with a controller but damn that game is so good! It's fun, has humor, offers a challenge and the auto aim function isn't in your face because you still have to aim really on target.
This game opened up my mind and I will try more console shooters in the future.

I’m trying to decide whether I should get a device like the Retroid pocket 4 pro, or an android phone. I’d like to play everything up to GameCube/ps2.. I’d especially like to play 3ds games. I know the obvious choice would be to get the retroid, but I’d like to be able to play it whenever I want to (at work, at home, wherever) and as pocketable as the retroid is, I’d rather not have to carry a gaming system with me at all times. I know some phones perform really well with emulation. I’m wondering what my options are? If I can get a phone that meets my needs and isn’t crazy expensive, either similar to retroid or cheaper, I’d like to go with that.

Hi everyone! I lack friends in life right now so would like to change that. I have a very large amount of free time so it'd be cool if you did too. I'd honestly like someone I can talk to a lot.
Stuff I like in list form because I like lists:

• My main interest is probably gaming. I've been playing Sea of Thieves the most lately, though I think I'm getting pretty close to tired of it. I'm also into single player stuff. Not sure what game I'm going to play next, but open to recommendations!
• I'm also huge into retro gaming (NES, SNES, PS1, etc.) and some of my favorite games are retro. I also have a collection of games. I tend not to play them as much as modern games, but if there's any retro fans out there that's awesome.
• I started reading last year. Fantasy is my genre of preference so any recommendations in this genre would be cool. I'd also like to give sci-fi a try. Maybe I'd like other genres too? Mistborn is probably the favorite I've read so far, I absolutely loved it (especially the first 3).
• I like metal music, especially power and prog. Those are usually my go to genres, though I also do like 80s thrash and bands like Iron Maiden.
• Been trying to learn how to properly play a guitar for over 10 years now! One day I'll motivate myself for a period longer than a week and actually get good at it. One day. If you're trying to learn guitar or want to pick it up we should totally learn and practice together!
• I listen to music in what I think is a weird way. I tend to fixate on one artist for weeks to months and just listen to albums of theirs repeatedly. My current band I'm listening to is Dream Theater. I just finished a 6 month obsession over Kamelot which is probably by far the longest I've ever had.
• I have other interests that I'm a lot more casual about. I watch (American) football, though much less than I used to. I like technology in general and like keeping up with what's new. I think cars are cool and like to sometimes dream about owning an expensive Porsche. One day I hope that I can get into astrophotography because I think it'd be super fun.
• I have a lotttt of free time. Outside of work, I have no commitments, and even during work I'm highly available for chatting. Single, no family really that I talk to, no friends. So people who also have lots of free time to talk and do stuff would be cool. I'm based in the US but have a habit of staying up late especially on weekends.

The last game I finished was Yakuza 4, but I need to reset before I dive into the long slog of Yakuza 5.
Dragon Quest 4 and Yakuza 4 differ widely by gameplay, but they have very similar story structure. The main plot is episodic, with each episode involving a completely different main character. In the finale, the different heroes unite and you pool their strength for the final bosses. It's a breath of fresh air from games where you pick a character for start to finish, or you start with a hero and add party members over time. The other characters feel more fleshed out because you directly control them for a sizeable chunk of the game- they aren't just attack bots for the dude you started as.
Are there any other games with a party structure like these two games? The only ones I can think of didn't really click with me.
-Live-A-Live has an episodic party, but the combat is dogshit and some of the chapters are mind-numbingly boring.
-Octopath Traveler has 8 separate character questlines, but It's still a Hero Snowball type RPG. Your starter ends up hard-carrying everyone else.
Anything else I can play? I have a PS5, Switch, and Steam Deck. I can emulate PS2 and earlier. Thanks in advance.
