I'm looking to understand if there's a different aura or lifestyle around different cottage areas. I haven't grown with a cottage, but there are a few generalizations I've read around. I'm looking for one maybe in the next 1-3 years and would like to understand more about the area. Ideally would like waterfront property.
Muskoka - Growing up I've only read about muskoka being cottage country. The feeling I get now is that it's expensive and where the mega cottages area. People I know that own there are entrepreneurs, business owners and they tell me of their celebrity neighbours, helicopter pads etc... Lots of money in that area. Not quite my social group
Kawarthas - I'm starting to hear about people in my age group buying cottages here. People that didn't come from wealth but have had successful careers and can now afford a cottage for their family. This area has me interested
Niagara (Lake Erie) - Don't know many people that have bought here. It seems more affordable of the ones above. Is this more of an upcoming cottage area that will blossom in the next 5-10 years?

Hi I have been trying to solve a lights problem for a few hours now, it's bugging me a lot and I think I'm missing something. Sorry in advance if I use wrong part names (english is not my first language).
So I drive a 2011 nissan pixo (same as suzuki alto if it helps), the rear headlights have 3 lightbulbs for each side : one for turn signals, one for sidelights (parking lights ?) and one for reverse lights (only the right one lights up even though I have a bulb on the left but I think it's how it's supposed to work, at least in France, also the left one is not dead, I tested it).
The law states I'm supposed to have at least 2 brake stops on the sides but none of my side lights light up when I'm pushing the brake pedal. However I do have a "third" middle brake stop light on top of my back window that lights up when I push the brake pedal so at least I get a signal.
I have no idea how it's supposed to work since I get no side brake light but I'm guessing it uses the same bulbs as the turn signals since it's the only red one ? I might be wrong on this, also the rear left reverse light never lights up which is kinda suspicious to me.
I checked the fuses, they look intact (though I didn't check on a voltmeter) and I get a brake signal on my middle light, I didn't test the contactor but again some of the signal travels at least to the back of my car. I tested all my lightbulbs and none are dead. I spent a lot of time looking for documentation in my manual and online but found very little.
My question is : have you experienced any car with different signals that use the same bulbs ? do you have any insight of what could be happening ?

TL;DR : driving a nissan pixo with no side brake lights but middle brake light works, all 6 rear bulbs work, fuses look intact. I do not know where the side brake lights are supposed to be and/or if they share bulbs with other signals and which ones.

Hey guys, so i met up with my ex yesterday. We broke up back in February. She initiated it because of some past actions of mine. We kept in contact post break up mainly me begging and pleading until i backed off and went no contact. Last week she got me up randomly asking for a pair of glasses she left in my car the first year we started dating (3 years ago) which to out knowledge they were lost. I never the less said i’d look for them and i found them. She was excited and asked if we can meet up. In my mind it was just gonna be a quick meet up but she ended up telling me to meet up at the mall so we can eat some gelato because she was in the mood (it was one of our go to places when we were dating). After that she asked if i would accompany if i wasn’t in a hurry to look at clothes and try them on and make a quick run to the supermarket (malls where i live have supermarkets), i said ok. (we used to do these things while dating)
overall the vibe was nice, we talked about our recent things and what we are up to. I didn’t mention anything from the past. Just wanted to keep a fresh new vibe going.
after i asked her how she got to the mall and she said she took an uber, i asked if she would like me to drop her off at her house since it’s in the way to mine and she said yes. and we just kept talking normally with no pressure but by her body language i could tell she was comfortable and subtly touching my arm and her leg touching mine and things like that. i dropped her off, said good bye and went home.

hello! i’m just looking for a decent camera to take some nice pictures for personal use nothing too crazy but don’t know which one will be worth it. I’m choosing between the canon elph powershot 360 hs for $400 CAD, the sony a5100 for $450 CAD or something less expensive like the Kodak pixpro fz55 for about $290 CAD. I’m pretty sure both me and my fiancé suffer from RJ to an extent, not to the point to where it affects our relationship but both of us are pretty jealous/possessive people. I usually try to keep it to myself since I know it’s irrational and he’s with me now, he’s literally marrying me and sex wise he says I’m the best he’s had. But it does get hard sometimes but overall I manage because my competitiveness balances it out; knowing he’s choosing to marry me out of everyone he’s dated (which is a lot) and that he says I’m the best he’s ever been with (which is also a lot) satisfies my ego.

He didn’t seem bothered at all by the fact that I hooked up with another one of my exes right after a breakup, (who I was still interacting with at the time we met and were dating because we were in the same friend group, he’s blocked now), only bothered by the guy I hooked up with once and never saw again 2 weeks before I even knew my fiancé existed.
I’ve tried to talk to him about it but he keeps downplaying it, he doesn’t really acknowledge that he’s possessive. And he can be a bit hypocritical sometimes. For example, we were broken up for about 2 months once and we go to the same gym. HE’S the one who broke up with me but when he saw me talking to another guy at the gym and laughing (it was a personal trainer who worked there and guilted me into taking one of the “free” sessions and he knew this), he left the gym after 20 minutes and then 3 hours later blew up my phone saying not to talk to him because I’m too busy laughing with other guys and that he doesn’t want to see me.
It isn’t a big enough deal to where it majorly impacts our relationship but I’m kind of just trying to understand his point of view, why he’s so jealous and possessive about my past experiences when 1. we have about the same experience if not him having more despite being younger and 2. he’s the one who either asks about it or brings up his past experiences which makes me think it would be fine to talk about mine. I have been in a very peculiar situation for the past 8 or so months and the further I go down that line, the less I understand of what is going on. In a dire need of a perspective.
Around 8 months ago, I met a girl. We have been friends for around 3 or 4 months after which, I asked her if she ever saw us in a relationship. She politely said that she does not and we set some boundries which included us only interacting at the univeristy and when need arrises.
After around 2 or 3 weeks(which were honestly us just not talking) she approached me and said that she truly misses my company and wishes to have more than just a simple "coursemates" relationship. Basically she asked me to be her friend.
I agreed. I set some boundries and we started interacting more again. After around a week, she started becoming very touchy, first it was head on shoulder, then it became long hugs, then, hand holding, finally it went on to just full on cuddling in bed whenever we were studying at my place. I stayed silent about it all for quite some time, but then I just kinda snapped and began to address it. She agreed to talk about it and during that conversation, we kissed for the first time. Not 15 minutes passed, she declared that she cannot do it. She explained that she doesn't know if she loves me(this will be important later). And basically that she can't promise me anything. She begged that we stayed friends. To which, I again, agreed.
Then came a period of relative coldness where I put as much effort into the relationship as she did, which resulted in weeks or even months of no contact. She was quite upset with that and we talked about it, during that conversation she explained to me: "that her closests relationships were always the ones where she didn't have to think about the people all the time and didn't expect them tk think about her". This was strange to me but I guess I accepted that during that moment.
It all shifted a few months ago, when she complaied that she was falling behind with studies. I offered some help, which meant spending time together. During that time, she again started being more touchy. She held my hand, wanted to cuddle, etc. No kissing that time(for now)
It all changed when just a few days ago, while we were studying, she kissed me. I stayed quiet. The next day, it happened again. And the next day. On the 3rd day, I was obviously confused and mostly scared. I was scared that I might just be discarded again like last time, so I decided to talk to her about it again. I got the exact same response. She doesn't know if it will last. She doesn't know what it means. Basically, there's nothing she knows. All I asked was for reassurance that the same scenario won't repeat itself, and she said that she didn't know.
I am at a complete loss. She seems like a genuine person who is inclined to communicate when needed, but she just seems to never know. Am I being blind here and not seeing the bigger picture?
Perhaps someone has been in a similar situation and could give advice as to what it means that she "doesn't know", what should I do? Wait? I can't just put my expectations aside.

I have two paths and I have to make a decision in 3 days. My dad says go for what your gut is telling you. I don't know what my gut is telling me.
First Path: If I go to grad school and do the GA job for the soccer team, I am setting myself up for a career as a collegiate soccer coach. That path is easier to me. I know how to do school and I know how to do soccer (although not as a coach yet) as that's all I have done my entire life. This path is comfortable to me, secure, scares me less.
Second Path: The ranch position scares me. It is unstable as in 3 months I must find another position. The ranch puts me in a situation I have never experienced before. Forces me to learn things I have never learned about. It is new and exciting and scary. But if I did it, I would do everything to learn the most I can. Learn how to career climb in the hospitality industry. Learn how to give people an experience as that is something I love to do.
If there was a crystal ball that told me the outcome to each of these paths and one told me I will be a successful collegiate head coach in 10 years and the other told me I will own my own hospitality experience, I would choose the path to owning my own hospitality experience. What does that tell me? Could I ever have both? Do you know that fig tree poem by Sylvia Plath?
I guess my questions are, can seasonal work turn into a lifelong career? Where could I end up? Will I be wasting the opportunity to go to grad school being a Grad Assistant (GA) for the soccer team taking the next step to being a collegiate coach? The collegiate coach dream of mine is because it is comfortable to me, i know i would be good at it, and I could see myself doing it forever. But part of me wants to be free and adventure and work those long hard seasonal jobs in case I learn something or meet someone and it takes my life in a direction I never even would have imagined.

I just spent over 5 hours desperately trying to find even just a single villager campsite and literally every single campfire I've checked, across all 3 biomes, were enemy camps. I did find a cave with Cadence in it about 20 mins into my seach, but that was maaaany caves ago and haven't found another since. Am I just incredibly unlucky, doing something, or is my game bugged or something?
Should I recheck the ones I've already gone to? And if so, should I kill any enemy camps I come across and/or destroy their campfires, or just leave them be?
As for villagers in caves, will they reroll after awhile if you leave the cave without talking to them? And if you do bring them home, can a new villager eventually spawn in its place?
Also, the cave I found Cadence in was small and pretty much just a single room with her, a campfire and a few scorpions. Is this always the case for villager caves (like, are they obvious upon entering) or is there a chance you can find one while exploring in normal big caves?

TL;DR:

• On average, all Primary Weapons will do more damage against redbars than what they do now with minor spec, with some having no changes
• Rockets, Heavy GL and LFR will do 7% less damage against all enemy types, including bosses
• Exotics that had their Splash Damage nerfed will do roughly the same damage against redbars, but significantly less against majors and up
• all Hand Cannons will do about 5% less damage against redbars, with Sunshot Splash damage doing 17% less damage against redbars
• Sidearms, Traces and Pulses are the clear winner of this Patch, doing a lot more damage against redbars and especially majors
• Kinetic weapons boss damage got SIGNIFICANTLY nerfed, but Mountaintop will still be better than other special GLs
• Because of how absurd calculating Lament damage is, it's to soon to say how bad it will be

And now, the full write up!

Starting from the removal of the Spec Mods, all weapons will end up doing more damage than what they do now with spec equipped, except for some outliers like HC, which will end up doing less damage, albeit not by much. Also, Exotic weapons will perform slightly better than their legendary counterpart simply because they can't equip mods currently, getting overall a bigger jump in damage (or a lesser nerf in some cases).
Kinetic Weapons will get a big hit against bosses. While they will still be good options, Stasis and Strand now will have a chance because they won't be just worse Kinetic Weapons. That said, the Pulse Rifle buff will not make Revision Zero or Outbreak Perfected suddenly good for DPS, simply because the Kinetic nerf offsets the buffs.
The Splash damage nerfs aren't really "nerfs": after summing up everything, those weapons (except Sunshot, see below) will retain their add clear capabilities, but they will do significantly less damage against Majors and Bosses, making them a more Add-Clear option rather than "just use this weapon" (whether it's a good or bad thing).
Just a little note on Mountaintop: Yes, it got hit hard by the nerfs. Overall it will do 22% less damage against bosses, and 7% less against all enemies. But i want to highlight that it already does 25% more damage than a Double-Fire frame, which does even MORE damage than a standard Breech-Loaded. So...yeah, it will still be incredible, not just a better GL than any other one, it will instead be more in line with Wilderflight (which, of course, also got a 7% nerf).
More specifically, the numbers will be the following:

• Pulse Rifles will do 31% more damage against redbars and 13% more against majors and bosses
  • Graviton Lance specifically will do 10% more impact damage and 5% less splash damage against redbars and 10% less Splash against majors
  • Revision Zero will overall do 8% more damage against bosses even while counting the global Kinetic Nerf, just like Outbreak Perfected
• Sidearms will see their damage profile change, doing 13% more damage against redbars but 7% less against majors and bosses
• Traces will do 6% more damage against redbars but a whopping 13% more against majors, while loosing the Spec Mod buff for bosses
• Scouts and Bows will see similar changes, getting a big jump against redbars (13% more) but loosing the Spec Mod damage against majors and bosses
• Auto Rifles will do 8% more damage against redbars but loose the spec mods damage
• SMG will get an almost overall nerf, doing only 3% more against redbars but 7% less against majors and up
• Hand Cannons are... interesting: Because they got a small buff, they will be overall nerfed against all combatants, doing 3% less to redbars and 7% less to majors and up
  • Because of this Sunshot Splash damage will be severely nerfed, doing 17% less against redbars and 10% less against majors and up
  • Because of the Kinetic Nerf, Warden's Law will do 17% less damage to bosses and Maleficent will do 10% less, resulting in an overall nerf to Lucky Pants
• Snipers and Fusion received the same buff, resulting in an overall 7% global buff
  • Because Izanagi Honed Edge didn't get any buffs, it will do 15% less damage against bosses in the end
• Trinity and Polaris Splash Damage hasn't really been nerfed against redbars, on the contrary it got a 0,4% damage buff, but a 10% nerf against majors and up.

IN THE END...

I think that we won't see a shake in the meta but one thing is certain, majors will feel like a pain to kill with most Primaries, while redbars should feel much weaker with anything. Kinetic weapons will still be excellent for dps, but they won't be the best-in-slot but some options will fall off a little like Wishender, which will do significantly less damage against champions, nerfing the "slowly plink at the enemies from far away" strategy.

My bf and I rescued a 5 week old kitten on Sunday. Noticed he was infested with fleas, bloated, and had a missing toe on one paw. Took him to the vet the next morning and got flea and worm meds and antibiotic wipes for his toe. So, I think I should start describing my kinda insightful thought in some way.
I've been a regular ARAM player for about 3 years, usually in a relaxed manner, but when I came across a more interesting champ than Zilean or other shit like this I liked to hunch down a bit and stay focused but today's situation was lowkey the last straw that breaks the camels back. I pretty much enjoy playing quite unconventional picks: ap viego, ad ahri, classic every possible variant of ezreal, but please tell me, when did riot games overloaded game with dmg that hard that if I'm playing any mage fucking ap kaisa is oneshoting me from like 1000 range in 6 secs (cuz ofc she has got resets :D). When tf riot games claimed it's good idea to rework adc items for making this role ain't flexible like ever before?? Thank god we got so much new skins!!! I dont even know how much money I've spent on this game and now being restricted cuz Ive told somebody he is fucking shit and he should never play this game (tl:dr pyke player started some crappy actions then running down whole ranked). Do less toxic designs, more where a player needs to think and train, delete most of these new champions, they are awful and nobody besides otp and tryhard abusers wanna see in this game, last good champion was Renata Glasc, so good skillset and stats, even the W isn't broken that much. W/e its too long
