I have learned how to spawn about 10,000 game objects without much lag, seperated into JOBS and using BURST, but I need to learn how to implement this better 10,000 game objects

Hey y'all,
I've been unable to keep up with the Mavs games for most of the OKC series and kinda just check the boxscores. I'm basically just curious about Kyrie's performance. Is he in a shooting slump? Is OKC doing a fantastic job defending him? Why's he scoring so much less in this series?
I'm aware of Kyrie providing much more than what the boxscore might let on to like him being pretty locked in on defense this year and helping the team's offense a lot by providing a lot of offball movement, but I'd like to get a couple opinions by folks who have been able to watch the games.
This isn't meant to be Kyrie slander, I rate him very highly, maybe even too highly. Just curious about what's been up with him cause I've been unable to watch the games.

Arquebus Balteus/Snail. Before I reached him, I'd read about people mentioning this boss and just assumed it was a fight against a stronger Balteus and thought it wouldn't be too bad...but this guy is just destroying me. I've died to him probably more than every other boss combined at this point and the furthest I've gotten him down is to about 25% before I inevitably just died from stray hits and lack of heals. It's just such a chaotic fight. Balteus was FUN compared to the hell I'm going through with this guy.
I've kinda got the timing town on his little dual laser dance move but it's the regular laser he fires that I keep getting nailed by, and it's timed so if the first one hits you, the second one's essentially a guaranteed hit as well. Between that and that damn shield he keeps throwing up, I feel like I'm struggling to get him to half without blowing through all my healing and at that point it's just stray shots and his crazy electricity moves that I still have no idea how to predict or dodge that get me. And he just has so much health and damage absorption from the shield it feels like everything I launch at him is just tickling him.
I've tried every weapon loadout I can think of and seem to have had the best luck with the bubble gun to chew through his shield, a rocket launcher of some sort and any kind of homing lasers or dual missiles. I briefly tried the Pile Bunker and sword but both felt kinda disappointing as you could really only reliably land hits with them if he was staggered and still. Are kinetic weapons the way to go over explosives? Should I experiment with tankier builds over speed? Should I just do a bunch of attempts where I don't attack and focus on dodging his attacks to learn his timings/attacks? I feel like I'd played up to this point with a pretty firm understanding of this game's mechanics and combat but this pompous clown is making me feel like I'm overlooking something that may make this fight remotely manageable.
At least the music's good I guess...gotta focus on the positives here... 🥲

Been seeing too many posts relating to overwhelming workloads and people’s personal expectations to believe that they have to go above and beyond everyday when they clock in.
What I am going to say relates to people who are in college, or are aware that they are only working at Target for a brief moment in their life.
I am not saying to be a “lazy POS” but if you are not planning to have the goal to promote within the target corporation… please do not feel like you have to exceed expectations.
Target was my first job, and enjoy following the subreddit for the sake of nostalgia (even though it seems like the dynamic of this reddit has changed to current workload complaints instead of funny work story moments like it used to)
Target is a JOB, not a career. (at least for most of us).
Something I’d like for you to take note of… no matter how hard you work, the only benefit you gain is getting paid an extra couple ¢ents more than your fellow coworkers in your department each year and more responsibilities to work even harder than you are already doing
This is a corporation, not a small business where your acts of above and beyond service are truly appreciated and acknowledged. You are simply a pawn in the game of “chess”. If you are willing to die for target… they are more willing to sacrifice you in the ‘game of chess’ because that’s what you displayed to them.
Focus on making your coworkers who have your next shift’s lives’ easier. Other than that… do what YOU CAN DO, not what YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE EXPECTED TO DO.
You should never feel overwhelmed in this type of job. There were moments where there were A LOT of things to do on my shifts… but the only reaction you should have is “f*ck, man… I’ll see what I can do” and NOT, “OMG! I have to complete all of these tasks in under [4-6-8] hours! There’s now way that I can, but I have to!!!”
Again… I’m not saying to lazy… But I am saying that some of you have yourself at such a high standard that it is negatively affecting you own mental health
GOD BLESS YOU for having that mentality of working as hard as you can at 110%, BUT…
PLEASE…. PLEEEEAAASSSSEE… know that what you can’t accomplish in a limited amount of time is not your fault
(We all worked or are working in different departments that have different dynamics… all I’m trying to say is, that the stress you are feeling working at target may be self-inflicted… yes, your ETL or TL may be pushing/enforcing these “expectations” on your psyche… but guess what? You have the ability to know what is posible to do during your shift and accepting that what you can’t do.)
TLDR; DO WHAT YOU CAN & DON’T STRESS ABOUT WHAT YOU CAN’T

Hi I’m currently employed as a hotel security guard, I live with my girlfriend and we’re expecting parents. I barely make enough currently to support the 2 of us and supplement with DoorDash. I’m very excited to be a dad, but also very scared for my family’s future because while there is room for promotion and raises at my current job it’s unlikely due to the seniority of my coworkers, and how little prior experience I have in security. Even if I did get promoted to a supervisor role I’d only be making $40,000 a year and while much better than the $16 per hour I’m currently making I feel like it’s a lot of kissing up just to be able to meet my family’s minimum needs.
For context I currently have an AA in Communication, 3 years of sales experience, less than a year of management experience and I’m in a decent amount of debt. I’ve always had a multitude of interests and unfortunately being a jack of all trades and a master of none doesn’t pay much. Despite how little I make now I really enjoy security, so much so I considered getting my class D license and possibly even my armed guard license. However these careers are typically high risk and take me away from my new family. My dad was a Corrections Officer and he never got to be around much from always working long hours and weekends. I really want to be there for my kid and I don’t know if continuing this career is the best idea.
I’ve always been very tech savvy and have a passion for video games. I’ve always wanted to learn coding, but never believed in myself enough to learn. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to give my baby a better future though. I just don’t know where to even begin. A lot of the coding boot camps are expensive and some are even scams, plus what if I get overwhelmed and can’t complete them? I know of a free coding bootcamp that I plan to learn basics with, but a certificate to prove my skill set would really help in my opinion. I’ve also looked at some Video Game story development programs for writers because I’m an amateur author myself, but isn’t that kinda like a creative writing degree where it basically means nothing to most people? Regardless I would want to learn coding primarily.
And as far as career paths go I don’t know what to pick. Data analytics would work with my communications and marketing background for certain jobs, but my gf pointed out I’d probably be bored after a day of drowning in numbers. I like the idea of cybersecurity and ethical hacking, but I’m a little nervous about the seemingly freelance nature of it. Then there’s video game development, which is probably what I’m the most interested in, but probably requires the most skill because it requires both art and coding. I understand that there are many aspects to gaming industry, and every dude who likes video games wants to make them it seems, but it would genuinely be my dream job.
I currently work nights and as stated before I barely make enough for my gf and I to live let alone shell out money for tuition so I don’t think traditional college will work for me. I could probably get a scholarship, but I don’t know where to start on that either. All I know is I’m willing to make whatever sacrifices I have to in order for my family to be safe and happy and taken care of. If this baby was born today we’d probably have to give them up for adoption and that breaks my heart, but we have about 8 months to get our shit together and nothing’s stopping me so point me in a direction so I can get this done and turn my life around.

I am a year 7 student. There is this kid who we will call Kin who is also year 7 and everyone hates him but he somehow made this gay friend group with some girls and 2 more Boys like him. Anyways we had PE at the end of the day and I and others were leaning on a metal fence with lots of jackets on them. Then Kin says to me " your on my jacket" I tell him oh my bad then he says wow it stinks now. I retaliate and say Shut up you stink. Then we get in an argument over this thing. His gay friends group back him up and that. My friends come and they still want to argue. he make fun of me being fat even through he is a moritbly obese and I am in good shape since I do martial arts. Then I was going to just leave but he keeps rambling on and on trying to body shame me on things io don't even have. Then he says are you a lady and a man me confused tell him are you. He keeps talking and yapping but then we have to get back in the match. The coach then makes us do this game where there are 4 teams named 1 2 3 and 4. I get pissed at him and so do my friends. They tell me are you really gonna take that from him. So I wait till they call both our groups out but here's the thing. The coach says 1 person or 2 people or the whole teams goes on to do a one goal winner game. Every single time his and my groups gets called he doesn't bother to get on. but ones the Coach said both our teams had to get on with all the players he had to get on. I scout the pics looking for him to slide tackle and injure him. But he doesn't try to get the ball. After a few more round of other teams and me and my friends playing. The coach calls out 2 people from my team and 2 people from kins team. Kin gets on the pitch with one of his friends and then I hear for kin"break his shins girl" He said to his friend. Me furious I get the ball and dribble past him multiple time to annoy him then I kick the ball to him waiting for the perfect opputinity to Brexit him. But the whistle is blown for the game taking too long. On the bus back from the soccer pitch for PE he talks to his gay group about me. When the class has to get of the bus I wait in my seat that is a few rows ahead of him (no boys were allowed to sit at the back of the bus). I waited till he was going to walk ahead and just as I was about to shoulder bash him he lets someone infront of him. So I don't do anything. But then pushes that person to get infant and blows a raspberry at me I tell him to shut up, he's only confident since teachers are watching. Ones we get off the bus we get dismissed to go home. I sitting on a bench with my 4 other friends polkaing what we should do now after school to go park or something like that. Then I see him and his group I approach him and start talking telling him r u still gonna talk smack and that. he pushes me and I get pissed he runs his gay ass around the groups saying oh r u burning some cals there HAHA. I get even more angry but leave it. after a few minutes I come back again asking him to apologise. He just ignore me and when I push him with barely any force he ignores me. So I leave at that but I want to get him bak somehow. Something that will ruin him and get him out of these smart classes and everything.
So any suggestion on what should I do to get the most devious resend on him?

I'm a short weak Asian guy (5'3-5'4ish) turning 21 next month and still never really had a girlfriend. I had a female friend in 1st grade who kissed me on the cheek, and a female friend in 5th grade who I held hands with. This was all over a decade ago. Ever since puberty started, I've never had any luck with women. I only go outside when I have to go to school or work. Otherwise I'm just playing video games to escape the reality of my situation. little summary about myself, in the life span of 23 years i haven't achieved something which i am proud of or stuck with one
thing i started or decided either it being editing, guitar, job, games anything.
professionally i did HM from IHM because i thought i am good at cooking so i wanted to be chef but when i went to IT i got reality check
about the hours and the return they get, i still love cooking but droped the idea.
I always had desire to study for UPSC but never had anyone to guide me or me myself being a stupid lazy ass even after having access to more luxury then others at my age never did research.
I completed my HM in April last year, joined job as Management trainee at Mcd but left it and decided to start study for UPSC in September
due to many reasons and consequences i was doing good till October(according to me) but got scared thought there is not much time and like my other endeavors i left this one at bay as well. but forwarding today even single day those wasted 8 months(even if not crack it i could have been steps closer to the goal, studying would be bit easier) and thinking about my life is eating me away. I don't want to stay this way where i just lay down scroll at my mobile while continuously thinking about the time i wasted
and taking no action.
right now i am jobless, career less and most of all disgusted and hopeless myself.
My teachers used to say my mind was better then any average kid but i don't work enough to put it at use, by just knowing i have good mind i
wasted my life with this ego i can achieve anything whenever i want but never did anything.
UPSC seems to be only option for me and i genuinely want to do this, whenever i look at the mirror i feel like an failure and now i am so low if anything bad happens either it's professional, emotionally or in relation i beat myself to it and think i deserve it.

For the past few weeks, I've been feeling like a very bad Dungeon Master (DM). I run several modules per week for different games (Vampire: The Masquerade and Dungeons & Dragons) in campaigns.
I don't know where this feeling comes from, especially since I still enjoy being a GM just as much. I don't have that sense of burnout or fatigue. I just feel like I'm bad at it, not up to the task.
I'm running "Descent into Avernus," and I feel like I'm not doing my players justice. It seems like they're having a lot of fun, but I constantly have this awful feeling that I'm not doing things right, that I have bad ideas, or that I'm not doing a good job. While I'm online, I read these thread about bad Dms, and bad parties and i alway feel like somehow, I could be the DM in these threads.
Am I the only to feel like this ?

I’m really beginning to believe that you have been playing me for a sucker. Either on purpose or not, either way. I have to go. You have put me through so much. More than I know you remember….so while my actions seem weird or extreme to you, that’s what trauma and years of abuse does….that’s what lying does….that’s what giving someone a safe space only for that to be turned around on them when they are vulnerable. Yeah, I know those things happened to you and it wasn’t right then either but I had no control over that.
So why me? All I ever did was try to help, try to love you and ask for very little in return, if anything. I consistently see you being so nice and polite to strangers and treat me like I fucked up your life or something. When you know damn well that isn’t true. You sold me a false hope and have strung me along on that same hope that that guy would return but I have finally faced the music and accepted that you don’t love me. I don’t know if you ever did. But what you did love was the way I loved you. There’s nothing in the world I wouldn’t do for you…..

It’s just as the title says, I (18m) just feel like there’s nothing I can do to make myself in the right track again. To make it short, I’m pretty much worthless, I’m failing school (still in grade 10), barely have any friends, no talents or practical skills to speak of, and have zero experience in the ‘real world’ as I’ve never had a job nor do I really think I’m mentally capable of one, i know I’m weak, you don’t have to tell me. I’m a burden both mentally and financially to my mother with my horrible attendance to school and my addiction to vaping, which I’m obviously not proud of.
I’ve had multiple attempts of suicide, all failed as you can tell, it makes me feel pathetic to wake up back in my bed either in immense pain or just plain ol’ high. Despite my history, nobody asks if I’m okay or even tries to, and on the inside I feel as if nobody cares either. I would say I’m depressed but I’ve never been officially diagnosed as I’ve never been to a doctors appointment in years, I’ve tried therapy that my school set up but I seem to automatically lie about how I feel, I want help but I also push it away at the same time, I’m just a living contradiction, I say I want to die but at the same time I’m so afraid of it as well. My mind flip flops around so much in one day, one hour, I could be optimistic and hopeful for myself, thinking that I could turn this horrible situation around and become ‘normal’ again, then the next hour I’m at rock bottom yet again, hoping for nothing more than to be dead, it’s an exhausting cycle of this every. single. day.
I know that I’m young(ish) and that there’s still so much time to get things together, but it feels impossible with the state I’m in now, which is lying in bed all day with no physical and mental energy, avoiding any texts or game invites from my friends and family, and wanting to change without putting any effort in doing so, it’s just an endless cycle. And yes, I know my situation is barely a pebble on the road compared to what many others have been through, but I just needed to let this out and be relieved of these thoughts that threaten to consume me.

I have a great deal of knowledge on the game itself and I know I can make myself into a great mind into the game but right now the main thing I struggle with opportunity’s. I know some of the best ways is knowing people but I never played high school football so I don’t really have that as a way in. I also know that school is a way in and Im planning on go to college to get my bachelors in sports management but what I’m looking for is any programs, internships, or opportunities outside that could help me with my journey. Anyone who responds with any advice thank you! I’m also from ma so something in Ma would be even better thx again!
