I'm about to go into a third-round interview with a company that seems chill but hard working. Independent but don't blow it type of place. I've got 3 YOE in security primarily focused on vulnerability management and threat detection, which is what the position is geared for.
On paper, my resume is 1:1 for the job descript but I tend to get extremely nervous for technical interviews- a bit of imposter syndrome and I struggle to play along with tech jargon language.
I've already interviewed with the manager, which had some "tell me about your experience in threat detection" type of questions but nothing crazy technical.
I know it will vary from org to org, but what would one expect from a panel interview with potential peers? It'll all be with people who have the same potential title as me, but considering I already interviewed with the manager I'm just unsure if they're looking for a personality fit or what. Ease my concerns, tell me what you would ask, anything is appreciated!

Manchamanteles has notable mole sauces.Friends had the pork shoulder with habanero mole (on the side). I had shrimp in poblano sauce, another person had the lamb chops with mole negro. There was also grilled octopus with black garlic(a nice soft garlicy taste) .
They will bring you samples of the moles before you order which I found really helpful
Even the table salsa was yummy- smoky and tasty, not just tongue numbing hot. Salsa and chips are not.
We will go back.
And across the street is Margie's, the old fashioned ice cream parlor and candy shop.

I'm new to my career in the non-profit corporate world (9 months to be exact) and haven't really had a direct manager since February (she wasn't a good manager regardless but she was competent and present) and I've been struggling to say the least.
I feel like I'm an astronaut lost in space and my tether has been cut, I latch myself onto projects that I know need to happen but have no guidance or anybody to ask questions to. I have no direction and it's really crappy.
I really enjoy my stand-in "boss" as a person, he's fun, we get along great, and he is emotionally very supportive.. but he's been off A LOT lately, so much so that I don't think I've seen him in over a month. He's also burnt out, so I don't blame him for taking care of himself, but I'm not going to allow myself to suffer just so he doesn't have to.
How do I tell him in a kind way that I've made the commitment to myself to leave the position if things don't improve by the one year mark?? My intention by telling him is to speed up the hiring process for a new manager (he's in charge of hiring), but I am serious about quitting if it doesn't improve. My physical and mental health are declining, I'm only 23, it shouldn't affect me as much as it does. I like the people I work with, I love our cause, and it's a great opportunity/position for my resume, so if I can avoid jumping ship if like to do so.

However, it was not until 2019 when chalcopyrite-molybdenum veined clasts were observed below 400m depth within drill hole 150 on the Oban diatreme breccia which cut 554.70m of 0.57 g/t Au, 0.24% Cu, 43.18 g/t Ag, 0.55% Zn, and 0.28% Pb from 97.00m depth, providing evidence for a porphyry at depth. In addition, A-type porphyry veins were identified from relogging hole 121. Drill hole THN13-121 at the Glenfiddich Zone (located one kilometer west from hole 150) cut 2.21m of 10.62% copper, 583.05 g/t silver, and 2.55 g/t gold from a massive enargite-tetrahedrite-pyrite vein. The copper porphyry at Camp Creek was a blind discovery confirmed in 2021 when holes 183 and 184 were drilled below 1000m. The Camp Creek porphyry-style mineralization generally starts 300-400 meters below the surface level and remains open in all directions including at depth. About the Trifecta Target The Trifecta Target lies between the Camp Creek porphyry target, the Outlaw Sediment-hosted Gold Target, and the Chivas Porphyry Target. Surface mineralization is expressed as structurally controlled narrow quartz veining with pyrite and chalcopyrite. A massive magnetite-pyrite-chalcopyrite vein in outcrop with a sericitic halo surrounded by strong silicification was found during the 2023 field program that returned 2.46% Cu, 71.4 g/t Ag, and 0.36 g/t Au. The mineralization style at the Trifecta Target is thought to be related to a copper porphyry at depth. About the Cirque Target The Cirque Target area, located 3km northeast from the main Camp Creek drilling, was revisited in 2023, which identified a 1km by 2km northwest trending area of pyrite-chalcopyrite mineralization. Historic drilling in the Cirque area by Julian Mining in 1965 intercepted sporadic copper mineralization throughout thirteen holes. The best hole from the 1965 program returned 0.19% Cu and 710 ppm Mo over 10.67m. Quartz-chalcopyrite veins were sampled in the area to the northwest of this historic drilling returned 1.6% copper. Mineralization is hosted primarily in Windy-Table volcanics and associated intrusions. Silica-sericite-pyrite alteration throughout the target area and the widespread pyrite-chalcopyrite mineralization in conjunction with favorable magnetic signatures and anomalous porphyry-index indicators suggest that a potential Cu-Mo porphyry system at Cirque remains untested. About the North Copper Target Area In the northwest corner of the Thorn Project, the Copper Target comprises a 15km by 5km area located 15km northwest of Camp Creek. Mineralization consists of broad, pervasive zones of disseminated and vein-hosted pyrite with localized areas of chalcopyrite and molybdenite that may represent the periphery of a porphyry system, as well as higher-grade narrow polymetallic vein zones and skarn-style mineralization that are more representative of distal environments. Widespread mineralization at the main gossan consists of a large area with abundant pyrite, locally up to 15%, and smaller areas of increased chalcopyrite, molybdenite, and magnetite coincident with a quartz-biotite-feldspar porphyry of undetermined age. Copper-molybdenite mineralization is found in quartz veins and as fracture-fill with samples in 2023 returning up to 0.7% Cu and 2,290 ppm Mo. The north gossan is comprised of extensive pyrite with lesser chalcopyrite and distal galena with up to 5% pyrite and trace molybdenite in a hornblende granodiorite directly east of the area. Mineralization at the south gossan is predominantly associated with trace pyrite, chalcopyrite, and magnetite mineralization within a potassium feldspar megacrystic porphyry. Higher-grade polymetallic mineralization is generally concentrated along the margins of Late Cretaceous dykes with silicified vein breccias extending 5-10 meters into the surrounding Laberge Group country rocks. The breccias are composed of sandstone and conglomerate of the Jurassic Laberge Group with quartz-pyrite-galena-sphalerite and trace sulfosalt and chalcopyrite filling the matrix. A ground magnetotelluric (MT) geophysical survey of approximately 90 square kilometer in area is planned prior to drilling the King Copper Target. 2024 Gold Targets While the dominant focus for 2024 at the Thorn Project is to drill test copper porphyry targets for new discovery, the Company continues to review gold targets for drill testing in 2024. These may include selective drilling at the Trapper Epithermal Gold Target (best intercept to date: 64m of 5.7 g/t Au), the Outlaw Sediment-hosted Gold Target (best intercept to date: THN-14-128 returned 59.65 meters of 1.15 g/t Au and 5.64 g/t Ag from a depth of 76 meters) and/or the Metla Target where surface rock grab samples to date returned up to 62.7 g/t Au. I (24enby) have been working as an office admin for a smaller HVAC company for nearly a year now and it SUCKS. I took the job because I figured that it would pay well and look good on my resume as it’d been a few months since I graduated college. Aside from my boss being hard to work with, I realized that office admin jobs just… aren’t for me. It feels as if there isn’t a lot of work to be done and I sit in an office by myself with nothing to do for a good 6 hours after I’ve made work for myself to do for the first two.
I’m very much a people person. I went to school for Communications so I could better understand how to make meaningful connections (and because I REALLY couldn’t think of anything I wanted to focus on). I minored in PR, too but I haven’t had any luck landing an internship to get me into the field.
Working around others and hearing their stories is so much fun to me. But I also enjoy having a set goal/list of tasks that can get me through the day. I’ve worked as a barista before for a good few years and LOVED it, but I know that isn’t going to sustain my independent lifestyle in this economy.
Are there any ideas on what paths might be good to look into for someone like me?

I know I am going to catch some hate for this, because people really love Fallout 3. I don't want to take that away from you if you like this game, but I need to get this off my chest.
Recently, I started replaying Fallout 3 for the first time in over a decade - Through the Tales of Two Wastelands mod Now, I really liked this game back when I was a teenager but replaying it now, I definitely understand the massive amount of hate levied at this game.
I'm not even that far in and I've already decided to stop playing it. - Everything about the game just infuriates me to all hell and honestly, I've been finding it a slog when compared to almost any other game in the franchise. (Including FO4 Which I actually enjoy quite a bit) In my opinion, many characters in this game are either narratively flat and underwritten, or incredibly annoying.
The last thing I did in this game was reach Galaxy New Radio - And that's where I realized one character in particular stands out as especially badly written and obnoxious: Three-Dog.
Not only is his radio personality completely unfitting within the setting (He sounds like a modern day shock jock IMO), he is incredibly preachy as well as being a hypocrite, an idiot and a complete poser arm chair "activist".
"Oh wow man I'm such a rebel working up for the little guy! Sitting in my ivory tower protected by a xenophobic militia of techno-fetishists hording all the tech! Wow, man I'm such a voice for the downtrodden! Let me blackmail the protagonist into doing my dirty work because even though I fight the good fight I actually only do things quid pro quo! THREEEEEEEEEE-DAWWWWWG! WOOF WOOOF WOOOF!"
Three Dog lives in an impenetrable fortress, surrounded by misery, preaching about how 'ghouls are people too' while his techno-cult terrorist buddies kill all ghouls they come across without exception.
Even in Fallout 3, the goody two shoes version of the Brotherhood still hate ghouls, killing them whenever encountered (In Underworld an NPC tells you as much) yet Three Dog has no problem working with them as long as they protect him.
Now, if the game was actually well written or clever, and ACKNOWLEDGED this fact, that might be interesting and deep. Like, if there was a way you could convince him he was a hypocrite and not to work with the brotherhood of steel - Or even if he didn't KNOW the Brotherhood did things like that and you could show him the proof and convince him to seek protection by Reilly's Rangers instead.
Or, he could be completely irredeemable, and a commentary on fake activists or a statement about journalistic integrity and how the media misrepresents itself.
But of course, this is Fallout 3 - So Three Dog is a good guy, and the Brotherhood are also good guys - Despite the fact that they are still mostly ambivalent towards everyone else in the wasteland and distribute the water for their own reasons. Three Dog is basically a propagandist for a xenophobic technology hoarding terror cell who are occupying the DC ruins as its self proclaimed rulers.
(And no, I'm not an Enclave fanboy, but the Brotherhood are by definition terrorists and Mr House and NCR say as much in New Vegas.)
Then, to add insult to injury, he's perfectly happy sending you on a fucking suicide mission to repair a radar dish because "he has to stay here and fight the good fight" (I find this particular stupid because the brotherhood a; Kill Mutants and b: hoard pre war tech like that in the Museum of Science and seem to be using him as a hype man. Why wouldn't they help him out?).
He's not cool, he's not subversive - He's just a fucking idiot and a hypocrite.
He's like if there was a supposedly anarchist podcaster whose entire show was about "smashing the state" and "ACAB" and anti government oppression, surveillance and racial discrimination - Meanwhile he was streaming from the headquarters of the FBI and lived with his Lockheed Martin CEO father.
What makes him even worse (IMO) is that his voice actor seems like the most obnoxious self important ass hat ever - Begging Amazon to put him in the show, getting angry every time Bethesda (And Obsidian) don't return his desperate phone calls about coming back in sequels and generally acting like his character is such an integral part of the franchise - Even though he was literally just a radio DJ in a single game that came out, what, over 16 years ago?
So yeah, sorry; Rant over. I don't mean to offend anyone who likes this game or this character, you're entitled to disagree with me, as I am entitled to disagree with you - But he in particularly annoyed me to no end and I was finding the game a terrible slog anyway. Personally, I'm going back to the Mojave and then maybe a stop over in the Commonwealth - Leaving the Capitol Wasteland for good.

Alien x Superhero This is meant to be sort of Avenger-ish with aliens not being liked on Earth. I was thinking maybe your character is one of the heroes against the whole aliens being on the Earth. There’s a march being rumored to happen where aliens wanting to gain citizenship and demand the end of their races being killed. What your character doesn’t know is that his beloved girlfriend is an alien (my character). She’s a shapeshifter type that’s been sneaking out of the house lately for meetings concerning the march.
Rivals I have a few ideas for this one. One resolving around two college aged adults going to the same college, their parents are mafia rivals. Slowly they fall for each other before finding out who they really are, or even an arranged sort of marriage that ties both families together and ends the rivalry... just for a while.

I’ve been craving a good enemies to lovers roleplay for awhile now and what’s a better enemies to lovers roleplay than something revolving around the mafia?
Plot idea #1: Your character has recently taken over the family business. My character is a college student on a study abroad trip that happens to see something they weren’t supposed to. Y/C’s men that were handling the deal take her back to the main ‘headquarters’ and keep her locked up, leaving Y/C to deal with her.
Plot idea #2: Your character is in a small gang that is tasked with kidnapping the naive daughter of a mob boss that stole money from another. Basic idea, can be fleshed out more together.
Plot idea #3: your character would be a police officer that’s gone undercover with some small local gangs to bust a couple of drug dealers and whatnot. Having done such a great job there, he is offered a bigger mission and if he takes it, when he returns to his actual station, he will get a bigger raise, new car, K-9 unit, some sort of special thing that he’s been working towards. This bigger mission would be infiltrating a bigger mafia family that seems to be running all these smaller ones. Thanks to some forged documents, lies spread around, and some of the actual dirty work he has done over the last six months, the head of the family invites him to a nightclub to chat. The chat leads to the offering of a position within the family, a personal bodyguard for the mob bosses daughter after the situation that happened with her last one. It’s his first break through and they’re welcoming him with open arms. Does he accept?

My husband and I get IV Ketamine therapy. There is this one nurse who flirts in my mind with both of us. My husband said that may just be her personality since we both got the feeling she was flirting with both of us. My husband is an attorney. When we were paying for our treatment she asked what he did for a living. He told her. She said that she was trying to get custody of her son and needed an attorney. He ignored her comment. Then she repeated herself, he said that it did sound like she needed one, still not making eye contact. Then I went to use the bathroom, came back out and my husband informed me she asked for his phone number so she could call him about her case. He instead told her the name of the law firm so she could look it up and talk to one of our paralegals. She never called. She tried to walk in so she could help him pee when I was right there, helping him stand up and unzip.... I literally had to ask her to leave. He has no memory of this because he was out of it. She acted like she was being cute. I don’t get it. Then again she asked for his phone number that session and he said call the office if she wants an appointment. It feels like she doesn't want an appointment but wants his personal cell. She also used my records to call my personal cell number and then chit chatted with me about nothing medical, no idea for why she called me to talk about my day..... We put a phone number that was disconnected after we got a new phone number a week before my husband's first session for my husband's medical profile so no idea if she has tried to text and call him. Then, she called recently to say they close at 5, but she'd stay late for us and it'd just be all of us at the clinic and it'd be private? Umm what???

Hello! I am looking for a roleplay partner or two to rp with. I play in 3rd person ONLY, paragraph style (3-5+ per post) though my starters can be longer than that! I play POC's for my mains, but NPC's come from all types of backgrounds. I reply at least 4x a week or more if I am not too busy. I enjoy open communication and OOC (though it is not a requirement). Love to world build. I only do F/M pairings with me playing the F role. And play via Discord.
For my partners I prefer semi-lit partners who can write 3-5+ paragraphs per post (3rd person pov), who also enjoys playing nps and contributing to the plot. I don't really care what gender you are in rl as long as you play the M role. I would like someone who can reply 3x a week at least and is open with communication. The Prince & The Pirate Queen
Yc is the crown prince of a holy kingdom who was content with his life as he was next in line to take the throne. Everything was going as it should, he was engaged to a beautiful woman, he had the support of his father and his people. He thought all was well, but it seems his half brother has other plans. His brother hired assassins to dispose of him. Luckily for him the assassin didn't do a good job and missed his vitals before tossing him into the sea to die.
All hope is lost, until he ends up getting pulled up on a ship. On the ship of the cutthroat pirate; Madam Black. Known for her pitch dark hair and eyes. A Ruthless pirate of the sea and skies.
She's none too happy about having someone from the royal family on her ship and tells her crew to toss him back. But desperate the prince tells her if she lets him stay on the ship until he can fully recover he will show her the way to Eosphia. The island of treasures that she had been looking for all this time.
They draw up a contract and agree. But both of them may be hiding a much bigger secret.
Mid to high fantasy, romance, can be as dark or light as we like. More discussions in pms.
Arranged marriage:
The southern territory is known for having monsters on its borders, its harsh winters and its black diamonds. The jewels are rare and controlled by the Duke of the territory, much to the royal family's dismay (and everyone else in the capital). They can't stand the thought of the “barbarians” having something over them. So they devise a plan to arrange a marriage between the “hidden” princess and the southern Duke.
The Duke is unable to refuse. So the two are we'd and he brings the princess to his territory. All this time she did not utter a word, but once they arrive, she smiles at the duke and ask for a contract Claiming to know how to take care of 3 of his problems (One being able to retrieve the ashes of his sister from the noble who killed her) and in return she wants him to protect her for 5 years and then she will give him a divorce since she knows he doesn't want to be married to her.
Will it all be worth it? Or is there something more sinister at play?
Mid fantasy (magic stones and weapons, few people with actual magic). Can flesh it out more in dms.
