I recently found this band on Apple Music called hotbox and listened to one of their albums, guillotines for drama queens. I thought they were really good so I listened to one of the other albums Apple Music said they made only to find that it was a pretty much completely different band. I think that Apple Music put the album on the wrong band and want to find the people that made these songs. I attached a picture of the album cover as it has a link on the bottom for a MySpace account. If anyone knows anything about this band please comment on this post because I think they’re pretty great to be left unknown.

(this is a personal story that very few people will understand but those deeply into Rozz Williams fan lore...good luck)
This is Casey Strange speaking.....
I can't find the right words to express the discomfort I've been feeling all month since I set all my videos on the scholars society to private and deactivated our facebook page.
Most people think I'm going away for good. Some rightfully believe I am protesting the Rozz documentary as I have stated that the methods of going about that documentary have upset me. But I won't go into those particulars even though it played a role in my breaking point and considering either a vacation away or a new lease of life (or perhaps an end of life plan...)
The truth is, there is some partial burn out here but it was the compassion I had for people I cared about that has kept me going these past 16 years. There are times where I just want to pour the details out and reveal the knooks and crannies of why things unfolded and how they exactly went down between 2009 and 2014. 2009 was really the year everything in my life really change. It's when I met Sindie and later James. I met Sindie through George's blog on myspace at the time that I have since posted on the community section of that channel. Truth be it, I was gonna live stream and tell this story but I think it's better suited here. I met Chris and Kevin through Myspace even though I'd been watching and crawling Rozznet for years before that. I don't wanna get into how I got into Rozz. I just want to show you a period in my life when I was just like you. A period in my life I truly miss. Just being a regular Rozz fan. It's not the same anymore and it never will be. I sleep every night with his bangles on and have since Sindie gave them to me in 09. I even would split the two I have between lovers of mine.. recently I've been sleeping with his ashes around my neck as I don't have anyone else in these times to comfort me anymore. He's dead. But he's all I have.
I'm not ungrateful that Rozznet gave me the oppurtunity to publish CDs. I thank Chris and Kevin every day for it even though they are not here anymore. I didn't know what to do after Chris died and I was just told to continue working on the project. And than I got worried about the website. Chris died that August and my aunt died last April. 2023 fucking sucked for me, okay? I had to clean out my aunts house and go through all my grandparents shit that she kept locked away for 20 years. Including finding things my grandfather wanted me to have that my aunt purposely tried to keep me from having...and watching photos get snatched from my hands by surviving relatives to never be seen again I watched history I cared about right in front of me involving my own kin get taken from me and I know I'll never see it again... Chris was one of those people who was helping me grieve. I still had the spirit and fandom of Rozz alive and I was determined to do some good things for Rozznet. We spent so many years trying to give the site the jumpstart it deserved and needed. There are others I could name but out o f respect i dont want to bring his name into this thread.... I had just completed a rehab program at the beginning of 2023 and Chuck Collision was want of my friends and sponsors, he gave me the okay to publish 3 PE releases through Rozznet as Kevin of Rozznet had passed in 2022. I did a very limited edition Shadow Projet release on DVD that year before going into treatment as the result of some bullshit harassment to my agent that was occuring from DJ Aytakk and a YouTuber I am not yet ready to name.
I had such positive support.
So after cleaning out my grandparents stuff I got back to business and launched Dead in Toronto. The first release. Chris enjoyed it so much. I'll never forget his reaction. They sold so quickly on ebay and even collectors I firmly believe do not like me bought it. I was so impressed and happy to see that something I had done was positive. It felt like after all these years, what we did at the scholars society meant something. Chris began to ask me to digitize the Rozznet collection and I obliged. I didn't want to ask for too much at once, and the last thing I asked him for was Assertive Discipline (Mix II). July of 2023. 26 years after the recording was made. Chuck hadn't heard this mix in that long either. Only Chris and Kevin and a cabal of elites ever had. When we were working on Dead in Hamilton, I got a very concerning message from a friend who seemed worried about me.
"I'm here for you, Casey." he said. Being put off I was like what the fuck you talkin' about? And he gave me a very pleading message to continue going and that its' what Chris would have wanted and as I realized what was going on reading this message tears just started streaming down my face..
And I knew that we had to get Mix II out there right away and fuck Hamilton and Night Sweats off.And that's we we did. And it was released in October. A month after Chris' funeral... And after that is when people behaved strangely. The release was a success but... I got concerned. People were not staying in communication with each other. People were worried about toxin going about. And than I got paranoid... and worried. My anxiety spiked when Rozznet went off line. But I had to keep going. I know Chris would have wanted me to finish the series. But in February, Chris' store finally closed. And I was left with boxes of CDs to send that were not going to move on my own. And I'm stuck with 25 Hamiltons and Night Sweats and a keyboard full of tears right now. I feel like people around Chris screwed up the project he had in mind for me after his death. But I'm not here to throw a fit about that. But I will not lie, it has upset me greatly. And to go into this right now would involve talking about Nico and I'm just not going to yet. I'm fuckin' pissed regarding that still....
I can't get over it. I'm not ready for a fuckin' Rozz movie right now and that's my own personal problem and I'm truly sorry to all of Rozz's fans I let down when I disappeared and turned into this toxic vile creature you've witnessed all month. But the truth is I'm fuckin crushed and gutted and I miss my friends.
Some of my friends died before I could reconcile a few things, two died on very good terms with me leaving me thinking they were going to be home tomorrow.... , one threw himself out of his apartment window.....one died from cancer while undergoing emergency treatment....
There are two other fans other than myself that I have empathy for in their grief in Sindie, one of whom has a mutual dislike between us. Either way..there is no question that the people who greatly influenced my life in this journey...prior to meeting Chuck of course....are gone. And I'm not the kind of person who has his nose buried in Chuck's ass all the time. My interview is a great piece of how Chuck and I communicate but we are grown men with our own lives.
I knew Shawn Terry of Guilty Strangers, I knew Christina Death, I knew Sindie, I knew these all these fuckin' people man..who were my friends...because here at home I've got nothing.... Rozz brought us all together. And they're gone..
And that's what makes me cry......
Seeing the deadly venomous monster Casey Strange cry......he's not so macho now, huh?.......
Rozznet is down all the old folks are gone.
I'm gonna end up spending the rest of my life alone a pariah and I can't do this anymore.... There's times I think about just checking it out and leaving my family to sort it out. But the truth is they don't care about any of this.

Please do not buy this game, especially not at its current price of 30 USD. What exists here is a hellscape of continual grinding mixed with maybe the worst UI/UX combo I've ever seen. You are Moses and the "gameplay" loop is your desert. It would have been fine, honestly, because desert's can be fun if you're allowed to do what you want in them.

This game lies to you. If you do not engage with the battle of the bands system early on, if you do not invest solely in stage presence and playing, if you do not do anything the game tells you to do, you will not get anywhere. The game starts in 2006, but god forbid the game has a myspace mechanic. the game acts like the internet doesn't even exist. Every single mechanic this game has exists only to inconvenience the player, masking artificial gameplay lengetheners under the guise of "realism"

Want to record a home demo? F*** you, going to a studio is your only option. You *could* make shitty home demos for free, especially considering band members HAVE A PRODUCER STAT THAT YOU CAN INCREASE, but that would be too convenient.

Want to go like a week without one of your caveman band members destroying some part of their equipment? F*** you, go buy more guitar strings.

Want to go a week without one of your caveman-turned-criminal band members getting into a run in with the law? F*** you, your only options are paying over a thousand bucks OR HAVING YOUR BAND MEMBER PERMANENTLY QUIT THE BAND. What did your band mate do that results in life in prison?

Want to have an easy way to check studio prices, manager prices, or how much a side job is offering? F*** you, go drive around the entire map and pray that you'll find something (which, in the case of low-level managers, might not have spawned in your city).

Ok fine, I'll drive around the city, can I at least have good driving controls? No! The car reverses insanely slowly so your only option is tokyo drifting at intersections so that it doesn't take three hours to get anywhere. Make sure not to crash, though, otherwise your already slow van will get even slower!! Once you get a manager you're given the "privilege" of fast travelling to gigs for 100 bucks, but you still can't use it because of how money starved this game attempts to keep you, for no reason other than "muh realism". Nepo baby playthroughs are impossible because of how little wiggle room is given, but whatever that's neither here nor there.

Everything, every single thing this game does, it does to waste your time. I cannot stress this enough. It takes what could be a 15-20 hour experience and stretches it to mind-numbing lengths. And this doesn't even take into account the song writing process, which oh my god might actually make me cry.

Imagine, for a moment if you will, that you have been given a box of lego. "Oh, this is exciting", you think to yourself. But you are quickly met with the reality of the situation.

It's not a baggie of lego, it's not even a box of lego. no, it is an entire mountain; and it is you and you alone that must go through it. "Well at least I can make what I want!" No! You fool! You buffoon! You will make the exact lego structures the game wants you to make, and once you make it the game takes it away so you have to make it again, and again, and again until the game ends, you die, or the heat universe of the death occurs. whichever happens first. "Well at least I can sort the lego so that I can easily find the lego I need when I make each song!" No! There will be hundreds of lego that you constantly have to recombine (which, the salvage mechanic is slapping a band-aid on a bullet wound), oh also all the lego you combine have to be the same size, and this would be fine if the lego sizes varied by a few feet, but they instead vary in size by nanometers. Tell grandpa he can't play this game because his eyes are too garbage. Oh, you also can't look at the other lego blocks you made for the song, you're just going to have to hope you remember the right sizes, otherwise it's waiting an in game day so that you can combine some more lego. And as a final f*** you, the lego pieces are randomly generated. You aren't making songs, you are solving increasingly tedious puzzles. Which, also, would be fine if it was the only tedious aspect of this game, but every aspect is tedious! There isn't a single moment where this game lets up.

There is a hierarchy to whats important in the song. lyrics are first, as in, whatever topic is popular in your state is what you have to make. make anything else and you will be punished severely. Again, this game doesn't believe in the internet. I don't understand why this game doesn't start in the early 80's, because at least then having no internet could be somewhat justified, but in any capacity it still only isn't in the game because otherwise it might become 5% less grind-ey. The song difficulty also does not matter in any noticeable way, so that's fun.

This game is the essence of the sunken cost fallacy. It's a one-man passion project that's built on a shoddy foundation, but for some reason it was pushed out the door with a full release despite this not even feeling like a finished product. I'm sure the dev didn't intentionally make a game that's sole purpose is to waste your time, but that's what happened. I can only assume that the very positive rating is due to a form of players gas lighting themselves into liking this because it's realistically the only modern music sim on the market.

I desperately want to like this game, but there isn't a single game mechanic that doesn't annoy me in one way or another. There is a difference between realism and tediousness. Nothing about this game feels rewarding. It's like being edged for fifty hours by a 95 year old. You don't even get the satisfaction of enjoying the experience because the person in control of said experience is butt-f**** ugly.

Scene was ALWAYS about the fashion. If you're scene, you're inherently a poser. That's how being scene works!!!
The original scene queens were considered posers by all other alternative subcultures SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE it wasn't about the music. It was about the vibe.
Back in the day, scene queens would get all dressed up to go to local music and events just so that they could go out on "the scene". They did not care what the music was, they just wanted to go out! That was the original vision and purpose.
Scenekids who posted themselves on MySpace got all dressed up for attention. It was all about the look, it was ALL ABOUT THE HAIR.
These days scene is also about the music. Kind of. If you ask people what they think "scene" music is, you get a billion different answers. That's because there IS no defining genre or set of genres. Because it was never about the music.
Scenekids don't listen to the same stuff. I personally listen to s3rl and nightcore. But other scenesters listen to vocaloid, or Millionares, or whatever other unrelated music is out there. It's not about the music. You can listen to pretty much anything and as long as you have the look, you're still scene.
I know a lot of you disagree with this, but the entire culture is routed in the fashion not the music.

1. Some stuff you might say is, "but I can't do the hair, because I don't want to damage mine or I have the wrong hair type." You can buy wigs. If you don't want wigs you can buy clip in extensions and bows and clips and tiaras. You can use hairspray to get the silhouette even if you don't have the texture.
2. Or you might say, "I don't have enough money to buy scene clothes." That sucks, I'm sorry. It's fashion based in the end, but most of the fashion is DIY stuff. Painting clothes and accessories, thrifting, making DIY jewelry, those things are all scene. You don't need to check every single box. If you can't get the belts or the shoes, try getting everything else to still pull off the look.
3. You might also say, "My parents won't let me dress scene but I want to be scene." If you're really, really serious about it, change into your scene clothes in the bathroom at school and change out before you get home. If they won't let you buy scene clothes, by it secretly. Make it secretly. If that's too dangerous due to your living situation, I'm sorry, that really blows. Hopefully in the future you'll be able to express yourself without your parents breathing down your neck.

Above is the link to the channel called "ash" that has been posting numerous songs and instrumentals from previously completely lost Tyler the Creator songs/albums! These songs date back to 2006-2008 when Tyler was known as Ace the Creator. These songs were originally posted to Myspace, but as we know that website sadly removed all of the music that was once housed there. The only album from that era that is currently fully found is At Your Own Risk (2007). The album Stereotype (2007) is partially found, but the entirety of the album is still lost. "Rocky's Revenge" from Stereotype is the most recent song that has been found in its entirety (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong).
I went back all the way to the channel's oldest posts and it seems like they started posting snippets of his songs 10 months ago! It looks like they have posted entire albums from the Ace the Creator era, although I am not sure if they are the complete songs or just clips from them. Either way, this channel is like a treasure box of Tyler songs!! I have no clue how or where they were able to find these songs, but I hope they keep going! Soon, they will have found every album Tyler's ever made lol. I don't know, I just thought this was neat and if someone could find out how they've been finding these songs, it could be a great help in finding other lost songs from that era!

And that is off the back of what is I think a record number of entrants - just shy of the psychological 800 barrier, we've had 792 users try their luck this round. It just wasn't meant to be, lads.
25 Users remain with their life intact, and their pride might I add. A further 267 users are still in the hunt but one false move would see them fall into oblivion like their 500 loser compatriots.
The Gold Coast claimed the most lives, being the punishment game and all and everyone forgetting Flanno's remarkably fast working and effective training techniques. Then, Newcastle's shoddy starts to the season claimed over a hundred lives and the Warriors rounded out the NRL mass murderer list with 74 first-time-following-NRL-ers deciding that betting their life on the Warriors to do what they're meant to was a good idea.

1) EACH WEEK, go to the GOOGLE FORM above and submit your single tip. That's one team, that you think will win their game that week. A single team, out of the entire round. Surely that's easy as! If your team wins, WOOHOO! You're through to the next week. If they don't, you're OUT OF THE GAME!* A draw is a loss, as far as this game is concerned. All decisions are final and the result as it stands at the end of any extra time is the result we use. ONE TIP PER PLAYER PER ROUND!
2) THERE WILL BE ONE LIFE available to you until the start of Round 10. That means, you can tip incorrectly once only prior to Round 10 and you won't be eliminated. That gives us all a chance to see what's going on with each of the teams and also allows for users to start late.
3) Once we get to ROUND 16 then it's new rules whereby you cannot tip the same team twice. We will cover that when we get there. Until then, you can tip Melbourne every week if you want to.
4) Whoever is the last man standing wins the /NRL Reddit jersey of your chosen size.
5) If everyone happens to get it wrong on a particular week, then we move on to the next week as if nothing happened.

BASIC RULES

1) EACH WEEK, go to the GOOGLE FORM above and submit your single tip. That's one team, that you think will win their game that week. A single team, out of the entire round. Surely that's easy as! If your team wins, WOOHOO! You're through to the next week. If they don't, you're OUT OF THE GAME!* A draw is a loss, as far as this game is concerned. All decisions are final and the result as it stands at the end of any extra time is the result we use. ONE TIP PER PLAYER PER ROUND!
2) THERE WILL BE ONE LIFE available to you until the start of Round 10. That means, you can tip incorrectly once only prior to Round 10 and you won't be eliminated. That gives us all a chance to see what's going on with each of the teams and also allows for users to start late.
3) Once we get to ROUND 16 then it's new rules whereby you cannot tip the same team twice. We will cover that when we get there. Until then, you can tip Melbourne every week if you want to.

BASIC RULES

1) EACH WEEK, go to the GOOGLE FORM above and submit your single tip. That's one team, that you think will win their game that week. A single team, out of the entire round. Surely that's easy as! If your team wins, WOOHOO! You're through to the next week. If they don't, you're OUT OF THE GAME!* A draw is a loss, as far as this game is concerned. All decisions are final and the result as it stands at the end of any extra time is the result we use. ONE TIP PER PLAYER PER ROUND!
2) THERE WILL BE ONE LIFE available to you until the start of Round 10. That means, you can tip incorrectly once only prior to Round 10 and you won't be eliminated. That gives us all a chance to see what's going on with each of the teams and also allows for users to start late.
3) Once we get to ROUND 16 then it's new rules whereby you cannot tip the same team twice. We will cover that when we get there. Until then, you can tip Melbourne every week if you want to.
4) Whoever is the last man standing wins the /NRL Reddit jersey of your chosen size.
5) If everyone happens to get it wrong on a particular week, then we move on to the next week as if nothing happened.
6) We are tipping State of Origins independently of the round matches.
