I've been working on this animated short film for a long time now, and it's now very close to being finished :) but there's still a few small characters that are not filled yet, and I need to find voice actors to record their dialogues.
Those characters include:

• Satan himself (low and deep voice preferred)
  
• an intern (young, immature, somewhat funny/annoying voice)
  
• soldiers (multiple different ones, all kinds of voices: motivated, evil, professional, etc.)
  

As I've already mentionned, the only roles left are all male. Female roles are all already done.
All of these characters have only very few lines, so if the voice actors can do multiple, that'd be the best scenario :)
On this movie, for recording secondary characters I've been doing a rate of $50. But hey, if you got a crazy range and can do a big number of characters at once, we can go higher ;)

There are several isekais that begin with the MC reincarnated as an infant. There's also a lot of stigma against those shows, since the MC is usually labeled a pervert. But what would even be the right thing to do?
The first and most obvious situation to address is breastfeeding. There are severe cases like Mushoku Tensei where the guy was a pervert even before his reincarnation, but then there's other cases like Oshi no Ko where the MC just chooses bottle-fed, but that's not totally realistic either, right? If you're isekai'd into a medieval Era world, that shit doesn't exist?
The next problem that arises is attraction. Should you stay attracted to the age you're reincarnated as or do you stick to 18+ like is traditionally acceptable here on earth? That one is probably more difficult to answer considering there are more factors at play, but I'm still interested in the general consensus.

My wife and I have completely switched gender roles, which I’m completely fine with. I’m fortunate to be self employed and do a majority of my work one day a week. I work in the wedding industry. My wife on the other hand, works in a corporate world as a project biller.
We have 2 daughters. The older daughter is a teenager from a previous relationship, and we share a toddler. I’m responsible for most of the housework and childcare. I do my best to clean, grocery shop, schedule appts, cook, and do bigger projects when asked (I’m generally running non stop). Our toddler was a never nap child and she has rarely ever fallen asleep before 10pm. I’m usually in charge of making sure she’s tidy and ready for bed, and if she needs any medicine.
During the week, I’m also doing paperwork and following up leads for my business. Phone calls, etc etc. anyone who is self employed, especially if it’s just them or a couple of people that they contract, know that it’s always a hustle to get more work.
My wife wakes up, and works from home, so she heads to her home office at about 8am, and then we see her for maybe lunch, and then dinner, and then maybe 10pm if we’re lucky. But by then, she’s irritable, frustrated, and drinking/smoking/420 until she goes to bed. She spends most of her free time on social media, typically TikTok, or looking at Zillow for a dream house, though we’re not exactly in the market.
Her career involves sending invoices and correcting hours etc for multiple companies, and it follows q30 close, quarterly close, and end of year close. It seems there is ALWAYS something that keeps her working 60-70 hours a week. Always.
I’m tired. I know she’s tired. But I’m tired of this entire existence with her. I’ve done everything in my power during/after Covid to make as much money as I could while working as few days/hours, so I could be there for our family. Our kids. She seems to be unwilling to change anything or figure out a solution to this issue that I have brought up with her a few times.
There’s a lot more to this, but to keep it concise: I can’t tell if this is the root cause or just a symptom. We don’t have a relationship. I honestly am indifferent to her existence, and it feels like that is completely reciprocated. There’s no effort on her end, with anything. I’ve suggested counseling, either together or separate. She refuses to even go to a regular doctor for some medical issues. I was told to stop buying flowers, even if it’s our toddler that wanted to buy them for her. I try to do a family trip to see my family who lives in another state, once or twice a year. She has been absent for every single one of them. It’s always close week, or something with work has come up, they’re implementing a new system, there’s a new trainee. There’s always something. She’s started to do the same thing with concerts, etc.
She’s not cheating because she doesn’t leave the house. Honestly, it’s like she’s both lazy and agoraphobic at the same time. Just work, self medicating, sleeping. And I’d say extreme emotional fragility. She’s crying once or twice a day, guaranteed. Doesn’t matter what I do, or what I’ve done, or if I’ve specifically done things to make everything easier for her. She’s crying because any number of things. If I sit and listen as a silent shoulder, crying. If I suggest plans to help with issues, crying. Try to be positive and take over another thing she needs help with? Yep. Crying.
She never wants to come up with ideas for activities for either us as a couple, or together as a family. Ideas lay with me.
I get frustrated because I see these videos about weaponized incompetence and how guys in general are just useless, and I agree. Generally speaking, a large percentage of men are just taking up space in a relationship and don’t contribute. But what happens when the gender roles are primarily swapped?
I can’t leave. She makes more than I do, and in this economy, I don’t make enough to support two on my own just yet. Divorce would destroy the toddler, and the teenager would be a wreck as well (even though she’s experienced insecurity before I won full custody).
How do I really reach my wife, for a real wake up call? We can’t do this anymore. I can’t. Or rather, what can I do to get into a better situation?

Some refer to it as twinkledaddies. However, there is a more specific branch of twinkly emo that I believe shares the same feeling as Frisian. I am not talking about the more glum, atmospheric, and post-rock influenced twinkly emo. Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) and The World is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die do NOT sound Frisian.
I think Algernon Cadwallader is the best example of a band whose guitar work sounds like Frisian. I Love Your Lifestyle is a good example too. There’s something about the whimsical energy of these bands that can also be felt in Frisian.
With all of that said, it’s challenging to pinpoint which traits of Frisian and twinkly emo are responsible for this feeling they have in common. Even if we were to say that arpeggios, DAEAC#E tuning, or writing music in this or that key signature, that would not explain why Frisian and this corner of emo are connected.
English is closely related to Frisian and most Midwest emo bands are composed of people whose first language is English. I don’t find this to be a compelling explanation at all though. Countless forms of music have sprung from the Anglosphere that do NOT feel Frisian in the slightest. There are many examples of artists making twinkly emo or music that sounds very similar whose tongues do not descend from Hengist or Horsa. As much as I adore the English language, I don’t think it’s responsible for the similarities between twinkly emo and Frisian. Also, there was that one post about the guy from Uruguay back in the 80s whose guitar playing sounded really similar to today's midwest emo.
In all likelihood, this is a case of cultural convergent evolution. So far, I have not found any evidence that these early emo revival bands were going for a Frisian-inspired sound or have any connection to Frisia. Over the course of centuries, the Frisian language evolved to sound the way it does, and then later on this subgenre of emo independently captured the same feeling as Frisian phonetics. Were similar selective pressures placed on them to mold some deeper essence (what some might refer to as “vibes”) in both Frisian and twinkly emo into twins? There are some things in language and music that may always remain mysteries. The most well known example of convergent evolution is that things keep evolving into crabs/crab-shaped animals. Rather than analogous body shapes, this can be thought of as two separate cultural phenomena (music and language) developing analogous essences. To compare it to the phenomenon of carcinisation, it would be like if a proto-crab evolved into a crab and then a bird evolved into a crab-shaped bird. They are both animals and both crab-shaped but not related.
Perhaps the simplest way of putting it is that the essence of twinkly emo is shaped like how the sound of Frisian is shaped.
So, what do you all make of this? Have you noticed the connection too? Do you have any theories on which traits of West Frisian and the more energetic twinkly emo influenced by math rock their common essence/“vibe”? Do you have any theories on what caused it? Although I am not religious and therefore would find any explanations involving divine guidance or some other supernatural force hard to believe, please do not hesitate to share such theories if that’s what you believe. I always try to keep an open mind. I have no interest in disputing anyone’s faith in a higher power so long as it is not pushing them in the direction of blind hatred, violence toward innocent people, or pacifism in the face of a monstrous enemy. If you believe God played a role in this, I want you to feel comfortable sharing that but I also don’t want a conversation about music and language to turn into a religious debate. Let’s try to keep things on topic and civil.

I volunteer at a no-kill shelter that very publicly advertises this status (we have a 98% save rate and that is also pretty well known) and don’t get me wrong, that’s great and all….but there are SO many people that come in and go “I could never adopt from a no kill shelter” and I just want to rip my hair out! Like do people think that kill shelters just euthanize animals for sh*ts and gigs??!? How do they not realize that kill shelters are the ones that most need people’s help and that adopting from them frees up space so that another kitty’s life could be saved? I’ve tried so hard to educate people on this and it just goes in one ear and out the other😭 Anyone had any luck convincing people that kill shelters are not this big monster lurking in the dark and that they are full of animals and people who desperately need assistance?
P.S. To all of you who volunteer at/work with kill shelters, you are absolute heroes. I can’t imagine what you experience on a day to day basis and my heart goes out to all of you 🫶🏻

This particular event happened a few days ago, so some emotions (and/or lack thereof) are still a bit raw.
For context: My (f, 27) ex friend (f, 22) and I used to be inseparable in all ways you could imagine. It was almost like we were sisters and many of our mutual friends considered us as such. We would video chat, text, talk, hang out, and all that jazz every single day. My ex-friend (I'll call her Hannah) also has a known streak woth many mutual friends to say "fuck all" and burn every bridge possible for a man. As of right now, Hannah's on a crazy emotional bender as she is preparing to move halfway across the USA for a player-military dude who has a track record of going through women, they've dated for less than a year, and their ENTIRE relationship is based on rebound sex.
While I have been nothing but encouraging to her on her endeavors for love and liberty, I have my personal opinions that I haven't shared with her directly as she's already heard it from other friends. This move will also be a HUGE growing-up process for her as everything she has now (apartment, car, lack of bills) has all been handed to her by her family.
I just recently celebrated my birthday (I had a huge party that she was invited to and didn't show), mother's day, bid my baby brother a farewell as he's gone off to basic. All of these things, Hannah was aware of... but she ignored me for weeks and I passed it off as her being busy with her huge move. Reasonable, right? That's what I thought as well until I saw daily snap stories or fb reels of her getting hammered at a concert one night, or with friends the other, and of course, restaurant photos with her family. She moves in a little under a month, so it was shocking to me to see her out and about so much because she was so stressed about saving money.
Fast forward to this last weekend - I was very upset with Hannah and was planning on what to say to her to work all of this out. That plan went out the window when the first thing she messaged me after weeks of ignoring me was, "How much money do you make hourly?" Around 11:00pm after not saying anything to me for weeks. I told her to research my pay on our job's company page since it's pretty open (we work at the same place).
Hannah then asked me what was wrong, and my response was something to the effect of, "You haven't spoken to me for weeks, missed my birthday, mother's day, and everything I told you about, and this is the first thing you text me?" I never received an actual apology, and her responses escalated from, "ok whatever. I'll eat that." To, "I missed your birthday, so what? It's not like it's a big deal."
I was surprisingly in a calm demeanor when I informed her that I cannot deal with inconsistent relationships by any means and how much I gave up my comforts and boundaries to be her friend as we ran in separate circles, and Hannah wanted me to open up a bit more and not make my marriage and children my entire personality. Hannah's response to this was a very mature, "You're not needed or important." And, "I'm so happy I'm leaving now, because I'm tired of you always being mad at someone." Which is far from the truth about my personality.
After receiving all that, I figured the conversation was going nowhere, so I turned off my phone and went to bed. The next morning, I discovered that she removed me from all social media. For the last few days, a notification pops up on my TikTok stating that she viewed my profile (almost daily). Maybe I'm not as unimportant as she claims I am.
The only other person I've told (beside my husband and mother) is my friend, and Hannah's ex-friend (I'll call him Junior). Since then, Junior's informed me that she has been speaking poorly and has been going through the wringer mentally, emotionally, and financially. My response to this was how much I don't care anymore which is new territory for me, and feels like a half-truth right now... like I'm convincing myself to not give a fuck. I've always been the cry-on-my-shoulder mom friend, even before I had children. I mourn for the good memories before the fallout, but I need to put my foot down and speak up for myself. AITAH for that?

As is my wont, I've gone and made another fully fleshed out setting for a brand new group of players to experience. You will play as the explorers at the horizon, agents of The Cartographer's Guild. Maps are very important when you have to worry about another island, however distant, on a collision course with your house. And while map making is less than dramatic, the real main event is the exploration of never-before-seen chunks of land that haven't seen a soul in generations. Forgotten tombs and harrowing dungeons, isolated villages and monster nests await our intrepid voyagers, getting rich off of history before it kills them.
There's a fair bit of lore that would make this ad far and away overstuffed. Generally speaking, our format of play will involved downtime at the Guildhall with our characters unwinding from the last expedition and preparing for the next. From there, exploration will ensue with brief but enriching and immersing random encounters until a plot encounter is discovered. Following its resolution our heroes will return to base and so the cycle repeats, with some glaring exceptions when player decision calls for it.
I have a handful of ideas for an overarching narrative, but our final choice will be made collaboratively and in accordance with player interest and backstory considerations.
I accept any and all classes from officially published material, though your selection of lineage/race will be more limited to fit the lore of the setting. Your options will include:

• Humans, the Tribe Undivided
• Dwarves, the Tribe of Earth
• Drau-shi, the Tribe of Water
• Rani, the Tribe of Fire
• Elves, the Tribe of Air

Even the familiar names of the above list do have occasionally significant alterations from the PHB to reflect their unique standing in the Shattered Skies.

Logistics & Requirements!

This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $20 per session excepting absences and session zero delivered through Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle.
Roll20 will be used for the purposes of tactical combat encounter maps, dice rolling, and character sheet management. Discord will be used for voice and video communications. I will be using my camera for our sessions so I can talk with my hands and face alongside my voice, and I would encourage you to do the same! I have a server made and prepared for this game.
My timezone is CST, and I'm entirely available on Saturday to make a session time work around whatever our schedules allow for. I'm partial to evening start times myself. I'm hoping our (free) session zero can happen on the 25th and we can begin play properly on the 1st of June.
If you're paying for sessions of DnD it's a fair assumption you're over the age of 18, and I would prefer you're at least that old. Exceptions can be made, but my games tend to be adult and include elements of occasionally disturbing horror.
I expect y'all to have fun, and if that involves drug or alcohol use for you I'd ask the dial to be set to somewhere around 3 out of 10. I've been known to have a glass of wine during sessions but never anything more.
Safety tools will be utilized to maintain a safe environment where everyone is having comfortable fun. Lines and veils will be established, and mine is an open table. If you knowingly violate a line it is grounds for ejection without refund. There is a certain amount of emotional trust we give our players and our DMs when we play this game, and it will not be betrayed.
Furthermore, this is an explicitly LGBT friendly space. I'm queer in multiple ways and queer identities will be portrayed in the NPCs of the world. If either of those things are deal breakers for you, please look elsewhere for a game.

From there, exploration will ensue with brief but enriching and immersing random encounters until a plot encounter is discovered. Following its resolution our heroes will return to base and so the cycle repeats, with some glaring exceptions when player decision calls for it.
I have a handful of ideas for an overarching narrative, but our final choice will be made collaboratively and in accordance with player interest and backstory considerations.
I accept any and all classes from officially published material, though your selection of lineage/race will be more limited to fit the lore of the setting. Your options will include:

• Humans, the Tribe Undivided
• Dwarves, the Tribe of Earth
• Drau-shi, the Tribe of Water
• Rani, the Tribe of Fire
• Elves, the Tribe of Air

Even the familiar names of the above list do have occasionally significant alterations from the PHB to reflect their unique standing in the Shattered Skies.

Logistics & Requirements!

This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $20 per session excepting absences and session zero delivered through Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle.
Roll20 will be used for the purposes of tactical combat encounter maps, dice rolling, and character sheet management. Discord will be used for voice and video communications. I will be using my camera for our sessions so I can talk with my hands and face alongside my voice, and I would encourage you to do the same! I have a server made and prepared for this game.
My timezone is CST, and I'm entirely available on Saturday to make a session time work around whatever our schedules allow for. I'm partial to evening start times myself. I'm hoping our (free) session zero can happen on the 25th and we can begin play properly on the 1st of June.
If you're paying for sessions of DnD it's a fair assumption you're over the age of 18, and I would prefer you're at least that old. Exceptions can be made, but my games tend to be adult and include elements of occasionally disturbing horror.
I expect y'all to have fun, and if that involves drug or alcohol use for you I'd ask the dial to be set to somewhere around 3 out of 10. I've been known to have a glass of wine during sessions but never anything more.
Safety tools will be utilized to maintain a safe environment where everyone is having comfortable fun. Lines and veils will be established, and mine is an open table. If you knowingly violate a line it is grounds for ejection without refund. There is a certain amount of emotional trust we give our players and our DMs when we play this game, and it will not be betrayed.
Furthermore, this is an explicitly LGBT friendly space. I'm queer in multiple ways and queer identities will be portrayed in the NPCs of the world. If either of those things are deal breakers for you, please look elsewhere for a game.
