Curious about your opinions.
I started at a gym that did 3-5 rounds at the end of every session. My current gym only does short positional rounds during the 'technique' classes, and twice per week there's 10 round sessions where it's just music and a timer.
I don't know which one I prefer, but I do notice that the latter is harder to plan S&C around for me personally.
What do you think?

I'm looking into it, situated out of Dublin, Ireland.
The adventurer package is €2,389 a year for 200,000 avios (delivered 16,677 avios a month). So off the bat that's 1.1 cent per avios you're paying versus buying the same amount for €4,245 (2.1 cent per avios). If you buy it using an Avios-earning credit cards that's an additional 2,000 or so Avios.
Granted buying avios is almost *never* worth it, but when considering what you can get out of this it seems like decent value.
If you opt to fly with Qatar Airways from Dublin to Tokyo (stopping in Doha) costs 160,000 avios plus around ~€350 in taxes. The cash fare for this ticket is usually around €4-6k.
Take 8th to 30th of February 2025 for an example (actual dates I'm looking at) DUB-NRT with Qatar Airways.

• Cash fare is €5,678.75 return with Business Class (including QSuite)
• Reward flight is 160,000 avios + €359.77 cash in Business

You would still have 40,000 avios remaining which could cover a number of short haul economy + business flights in Europe, or even a one-way business flight to America.
All in all, for this flight alone you would've spent €2,748 which is still €2,930 less than the cash fare!
Even if you considered a cheaper route like DUB - DPS which is usually €4000, that's still €1,252 less + the value you have from the 40,000 remaining avios
Qatar have very good reward availability generally, and this is just one example. Of course you could redeem for BA/AA/Iberia/Aer Lingus etc. But from this example alone I think the Avios Subscription is worth it.
Some caveats though:

• The avios are delivered monthly. So for this trip, you would have to wait roughly 10 months after subscribing to have enough avios to book.
• This probably is only worth it if
  • (a) you know you will travel every year at least once in business class
  • (b) you have flexible travel plans
  • (c) you have enough avios to cover the cost of booking the flight now

But if you do meet that criteria, it seems somewhat of a no-brainer ... unless I am missing something?

I’ve accepted an offer from a graduate school and received their acceptance letter which stated that I still need to fulfill a course in biology that I am currently taking. I am planning to graduate this semester and start in September. The thing is that I’ve been struggling in this bio class and there’s a good chance I’ll end it with a C-. In my acceptance letter, it just states that my only contingency is that I’m missing the three credit course of biology. It does not state a specified grade anywhere. Does this mean I’m okay if I get a C- or is there a chance they will rescind? It’s not a major course, just a pre requisite.

I am a new member of the sub but have found a lot of love for the mysteries that lostwave such as "Like The Wind" holds but unlike a lot of lostwave I've heard, Like The Wind has far less defined or agreed upon lyrics.
With my post, I will give my justifications for such theories I've made for this song.
First off, I don't even think this song is called "Like The Wind", judging by the bands of their era and similar genre, I actually think the song is called "Summer Blues" judging by the similar songs of the genre this song is classed with.

I feel as if both interpretations of this line make sense and flow together well, though on my end I can hear "here".

In context, the line "Take the consequence of living." doesn't make too much sense and it is well established that this band isn't fluent in English.
There's no space,
There's a more definitive "sp-" than "pl-" in this line.
There's no tomorrow,
From what I have seen, this line is one of the more agreed upon lines and in context, it checks out.
There's no sent communication.
As much disagreement I've seen over this, you can hear "SENT" and not "SENSE" while yes, you can't hear the "C" for communication, I suspect the quality of the audio makes the more solid "T" overshadows "C".
Verse 2:
Like the wind
See above.
You're going somewhere
The line "You're gonna suffer" can be heard but in context of the lyrics prior, it doesn't make too much sense.
Let a smile be your companion.
Surprisingly, this is one of the least contested lines and it makes sense.

Among all the lyrical interpretations of this song, this is the only line where I've seen universal confusion to what this line actually is, but with the power of context, this line is far more heard and sound than "It's the real excuse" but is equally as heard and sound as "I'm reading you" but, I took some time to look at remastered versions of this song and the original audios and the interpretation of "I believe in you" is starting to make sense but still I think this is the only line that doesn't have a agreed upon interpretation.

Gros rant, excusez le long texte.
Depuis deux semaine, mon fils pleure avant de partir à l'école. Y'a une semaine et demi y'a prétexté un mal de ventre pour que j'aille le chercher, le lendemain y'a éclaté en sanglots en classe pis depuis chaque matin c'est les gros pleurs.
Mon fils c'est pas le plus émotif qui soit, normalement il est plus du genre "ti though qui pleure pas" tsé. (On normalise full les émotions, c'est lui qui ne l'est juste pas tant que ça, je précise) Fake ça me met vraiment toute à l'envers de le voir de même.
La TS l'a rencontré, elle dit que tout semble bien aller pourtant. Je me suis assise avec lui à plusieurs reprises pour essayer de comprendre, je lui ai demandé si un autre enfant/adulte lui causait des problèmes, si quelqu'un lui faisait mal, j'ai même été jusqu'à demander si quelqu'un avait eu des gestes déplacés à son égard. Rien de tout ça. Il m'a seulement dit "Je m'ennuie de toi c'est tout"
On se voit toujours, je suis maman à la maison, on passe beaucoup de temps ensemble en dehors de l'école pis je considère être une maman très présente malgré les nombreuses tâches et les trois enfants. Je leur accorde chacun un moment bien à eux et je ne crois pas en délaisser un pour les autres tsé.

These modulators have been shown to achieve a record low drive voltage below 1V and data rates of 200Gbps PAM4. This performance will enable a new generation of 800 Gb/s and 1.6T Gb/s pluggable transceivers to address fast growing requirements for optical connectivity for large generative AI computing clusters.
Lightwave Logic and AMF have collaborated over the past year to develop the electro optic polymer slot modulators utilizing AMF's standard manufacturing process flow on 200-mm wafers. This successful demonstration marks a significant milestone in integrated photonics, blending Silicon photonics with polymer materials. Hey Malaysians , I'm just curious on how much i have to earn per month to live comfortably in somewhere like KL.. im thinking 10k+ a month but i might be too naive considering I've seen people earning 10k a month just passing by only...lol. Hello. I’m back again, but complaining about a different class now. One I would usually like! Not to be dramatic but I’m in tears. I’m doing my psychology degree. I wasn’t expecting this essay to come back GOOD but I was expecting over 60%. I’ve never gotten a grade so low, 55%. She wrote that the essay was a “this is a fair attempt”. This is the worst semester of my life.
According to her filled out rubric, I should have gotten at least 60% because some are D, some are C and a few are P??? I thought I had a lot of evidence and referencing but that criteria was marked as AN N??!!! I’m definitely the problem but it’s destroying my confidence for sure. I’m so embarrassed.
I REALLY looked through her comments and disagree with a lot of them. She’s unnecessarily harsh about things that don’t matter. Saying that she “expects better planning from a third year student.” I plan my essays to a t, I don’t just start writing but one of her comments was “I encourage you to plan your essays prior to writing.” wtf? Why do you assume that??? Apparently I’m not allowed to fence sit, even though the information required you to BE FAIR IN YOUR ASSESSMENT. I wrote that the Dr did not APPEAR to have the skills to deal with a traumatic brain injury BASED ON HER BEHAVIOUR, but the comment says “what do you mean? Psychologists are trained in cognitive impairment in masters!”. Firstly, how am I meant to know, I haven’t done a masters. And secondly, the case is about the ethics of her conduct- and she DID NOT DEAL WITH THE COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT APPROPRIATELY SO MY COMMENT IS A CORRECT ASSESSMENT. Whether it’s the fact she is rural or she didn’t pay attention iN hEr mAsTeRs, that’s the truth and I fucking said it.
I’m really angry, embarrassed, and upset. I was confident my WAM wouldn’t lower this semester but I’m really struggling now. I have really no confidence left after this blow. I’m really struggling to finish my essays now because I don’t trust in my ability at all. I don’t like my tutor, I don’t like my classes this semester and I feel stupid for thinking I’m smart enough to do university.
I’m dealing with grief but I didn’t realise it was affecting my focus this much. I’m so anxious about the exams, I’m so anxious about these assessment. This semester is really breaking me down - I’m not good at even ONE of these subjects.
