2024.05.21 18:51 Illustrious-Feed-343 Muhammed’s conversation with a homosexual donkey

One day, Muhammad, the prophet of islam, had an interesting conversation with ... a donkey!
Assuming that animals communicate, Muhammad asked the donkey: “What is your name?”
“My name is Yazid ibn (son of) Shihab” said the donkey.
Thus, identifying himself as the son of his father much like the arabs of Muhammad's time did.
The donkey added: “Allah had brought forth from my ancestry 60 donkeys, none of whom were ridden on except by prophets.”
Then the donkey said: “And I expected you to ride me!”
(A true believer of Muhammad's prophethood!)
The donkey also admitted: “Before you, I belonged to a jewish man whom I caused to stumble and fall frequently…”
(Jihad?)
And the poor victim added: “..so he used to starve me and beat my back!”
(Islamophobia!)
Muhammad decided to change the donkey's name to Ya'foor. “I'll call you Ya'foor”, said Muhammad.
Then he asked Ya'foor a rather personal question. “Ya'foor, do you desire females?”
The donkey blushed and said: “Sir! No Sir!”
(A homosexual donkey?)
So, Muhammad used to ride Ya'foor to complete his business. Sometimes he would send Ya'foor to knock at the door of a person he wanted to visit and the donkey would signal to that person to go see the prophet.
When Muhammad died, the donkey went to a well and threw himself in it out of sadness. Ya'foor commited suicide!
The sad thing about all this is that Ya'foor went to hell for committing suicide. It seems that the donkey wasn’t told that committing suicide is a sin that leads to hellfire!

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is an excellent remake of an excellent game with enough modern additions to make it feel fresh and new.
COGconnected - James Paley - 90 / 100
Thousand Year Door is a remake done right. The new sound and visuals look terrific. The game’s essential identity has been preserved. Plus, the original release is able to shine through with no distractions. It’s exactly as wonderful as you remember it being. I’m still impressed with the writing, and the level design is mostly excellent. I still hate the tournament arc, though. And I wish some of the puzzles didn’t involve scouring a dungeon until a forgotten button or door is dragged into the sunlight. Although the original release is amazing, it’s also nearly impossible to play anymore. For new and old fans, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is an essential addition to the Nintendo Switch library.
Checkpoint Gaming - Edie W-K - 9.5 / 10
Nostalgia goggles haven't failed us: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is still a masterpiece. With vastly improved graphics, a great rearranged soundtrack, and a few tasteful gameplay touchups, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for Nintendo Switch is now the best version of this fan-favourite classic. The only thing missing is extra content for those who have already played it, but for everyone else, there's no reason not to pick this one up.
ComicBook.com - Marc Deschamps - 4.5 / 5
All in all, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is an easy recommendation. For those that never got a chance to play the original game, there's no better time than the present, and the Nintendo Switch version is easily the best way to play it.
Console Creatures - Bobby Pashalidis - Recommended
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a masterpiece that continues to enchant nearly two decades after its initial release.
Daily Mirror - Scott McCrae - 4 / 5
Though Hellblade 2 has the power to force your jaw open and give you goosebumps, too often the whole project ends up feeling like a very expensive tech demo – an absolute tour de force of technical achievement bogged down in its own sense of gravitas and mystery. Keeping you off the stick for so many of its most impactful moments, and not giving you enough to play with when you do have control, hobbles the potential of this visual and aural masterpiece enough to make the whole experience feel like it was constantly trying to find a foothold on that dread Icelandic scree, and never really getting to its feet until you come staggering over the finish line.
Daily Star - Tom Hutchison - 4.5 / 5
Overall a beautiful looking game, one that feels fresh and in-keeping with recent modern Mario efforts.
Digital Trends - Tomas Franzese - 4.5 / 5
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door stands the test of time and is fantastic on Nintendo Switch.
Digitec Magazine - Domagoj Belancic - German - 4 / 5
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a classic Mario role-playing game that every fan of the chubby plumber should play. If you've already played the original, it's worth taking another trip into this paper world thanks to the completely revamped graphics and soundtrack.
The simplified role-playing mechanics and the interactivity of the turn-based battles make the game accessible even to beginners and players who don't usually like RPGs. The numerous environments impress with their quirky humor, excellently written characters and a beautiful paper look. What I didn't like were the annoying backtracking passages and some tedious mechanics. They unnecessarily slow down the pace as the game progresses.
Enternity.gr - Nikitas Kavouklis - Greek - 10 / 10
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a magical combination of parameters that make this title must have!
GAMES.CH - Benjamin Braun - German - 87%
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is still a great mixture of RPG and platformer with fine papercraft graphics and humorous story. But in terms of content, the visually advanced Switch version delivers nothing new for dye connoisseurs of the GameCube original, which makes it less interesting for them as for players who experience the remastered version for the first time.
Game Informer - Kyle Hilliard - 8.3 / 10
Thousand-Year Door is now a series highlight. It marks the first instance of where I didn’t want a Mario RPG to go (I generally prefer the Mario & Luigi direction), but the constant fourth-wall breaking, myriad colorful and unique characters, and its willingness to just be weird all lead to a joyful journey.
Glitched Africa - Marco Cocomello - 9 / 10
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Remake is wonderfully crafted for modern hardware while still capturing the magic and love of the original 20-year-old game. There’s a reason this is a cult classic and now everyone can enjoy it.
God is a Geek - Adam Cook - 10 / 10
Whether you're replaying for the new visuals, or a very lucky first-time player, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is one of the best RPGs ever to come out of Nintendo.
IGN - Logan Plant - 9 / 10
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is an amazingly loyal and visually dazzling remake of a treasured RPG, and the improvements made throughout easily make this the definitive way to experience Mario’s unforgettable quest.
Nintendo Life - Alana Hagues - 9 / 10
For 20 years, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door has been held as the best Mario RPG of all time, and the Switch remake proves it has earned that title. This is a fantastic RPG adventure, whether you're a Mario fan or not, with some best-in-class combat, brilliant writing, and a few little creases ironed out to make this the definitive way to play Thousand-Year Door. We wish there was a little more to do post-credits, but there's no doubt about it, this is a beautiful-looking Switch remake and a must-play RPG.
Nintendo News - 9 / 10
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for Nintendo Switch improves upon the GameCube classic in almost every way; not just with its impressive graphical overhaul, but with plenty of quality-of-life changes and additional content too. As long as you can handle some occasional backtracking and a reduced frame-rate of 30fps, this is undoubtedly the ultimate Paper Mario RPG experience. Mario games usually put the narrative to the wayside to focus on having fun and engaging gameplay, but The Thousand-Year Door manages to do both and succeeds at it in such a way that still hasn’t been topped 20 years later.
Press Start - James Mitchell - 9.5 / 10
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year-Door is a masterful remake that improves on the original in practically every way while keeping everything that made it a mainstay in the Nintendo canon. While its timelessness is reflected in the strength of its humour, wit and story, a major visual overhaul and much needed quality of life improvements make The Thousand-Year Door an adventure that can't be skipped.
SECTOR.sk - Michal Korec - Slovak - 8.5 / 10
It is not a full-blown remake with overhauled graphics or new episodes. But deep within lies truly one of the best parts of the series to be enjoyed even 20 years later with excellent gameplay, sharp-wit writing and funny dialogues for long evenings or short bursts.
Saudi Gamer - Arabic - 9 / 10
Behind its vibrant and cheerful appearance hides a great battle system and a memorable cast of characters and events in a world brimming with content. Just be aware that some patience is required to enjoy the ride fully.
Spaziogames - Gianluca Arena - Italian - 8.2 / 10
The Switch version of Paper Mario and the Thousand-year door is a rare delight, just like the GameCube one before it: it's a funny and clever mix between a turn based RPG and a platform game, full of jokes and memorable characters. The price might be a little bit steep and the frame rate is halved if compared to the original, but it's still worth to dip your toes into it even twenty years later.
Stevivor - Ben Salter - 9 / 10
The Thousand-Year Door remake is a triumphant return for Paper Mario. It turns back to an earlier chapter in the series that knows exactly what it’s trying to achieve and does it masterfully.
TheGamer - Ben Sledge - 4 / 5
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door will probably be the last Mario game to release (solely) on the Switch. While Wonder will take the plaudits, porting this cult classic means that a new generation of players can experience it. New fans will have a ball, laughing along with Mario & co., even if their experience will be slightly marred by the backtracking and pacing. Old fans will enjoy the quality of life improvements and some new additions. Whether you’re a Paper Mario veteran or this is your first time entering his origami world, this is the definitive way to experience The Thousand-Year Door.
TheSixthAxis - Stefan L - 9 / 10
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a wonderful remake of a GameCube classic. Now in a modern game engine, but with all the quirkiness and charm of the original story and characters, and with a return to the original Paper Mario combat style, it's great for Mario RPG fans and newcomers alike.
TrustedReviews - By Ryan Jones - 4.5 / 5

Twinfinite - Luke Hinton - 4 / 5
While I wasn’t there for the original, I now completely get just why Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is so revered among Mario fans, and why demands for a remaster were practically ceaseless. It’s the absolute pinnacle of Mario RPGs, and if it was a bit more focused as an overall narrative experience, in the discussion as one of the plumber’s best-ever games.
VGC - Andy Robinson - 5 / 5
Alongside last year’s excellent Super Mario RPG remake, The Thousand-Year Door is one of the very best Mario spin-offs on Nintendo Switch, whether you’re an old fan or discovering it for the first time.
Video Chums - Mary Billington - 9 / 10
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a classic RPG with a perfect blend of turn-based combat and adventuring complete with a rewarding unlockable abilities system that encourages you to explore every nook and cranny. Plus, its updated graphics, hilarious humour, and welcome gameplay improvements make it more accessible than ever. 🚪
Wccftech - Nathan Birch - 8 / 10
While the new Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door preserves the gonzo charm that made the original game a cult classic, not a lot has been done to deal with its padding and other design quirks. If you’re a hardcore Thousand-Year Door fan, worry not, you’re going to love this spiffy new version. If you’re new to the game or weren’t entirely sold the first time around, you’re still likely to find plenty to enjoy here, but you may also notice a few tattered edges.

2024.05.21 14:16 Matt_B-S I may or may not have bullied someone with heavy intellectual diagnoses as a kid.

I've been living with the thought that i scarred someone for years and i just want to hear if others think it is as serious as i find it to be. It starts at an old school, maybe 8 years old or something like that. I get in a class (which, hint hint, ended up being probably the most mentally traumatic part of my life i've ever experienced) and i immediately met friends, targets and enemies. There was a group of foreigners, probably arabic of some sort, and they immediately started bullying me, because of my less severe ADHD and autism. They found it funny that i got angry easily. I was a shy little bitch so i didn't want to hurt anyone, but eventually they just bullied me to the point where i got pushed into being a mentally deranged psychopath willing to beat up anyone in my path.
Usually, i'd take my anger out on a girl named Victoria. She was obviously a victim of some sort of intellectual based diagnose of more heavy harm than mine, and it was sort of just a perfect target. She couldn't have her own argument, she didn't even know which finger on her hand was the middle finger. Ofcourse i never actually hit her, since she moved from the school in 2nd grade, probably on behalf of her parents. I'm sort of happy that she did, because that was around when i started hitting anyone in my path.
Before i started getting violent with others, i usually just pushed them down slides they were too scared of. Basically psychological warfare.
The really bad thing about this is that i ran on pills, like Elvanse, Ritalin and others. This hit me hard as a kid. When i was 6 i lost so much weight that i weighed about 10-15 kilos. It hit me physically and mentally. I would either get angrier, or calmer. If i got angrier, i ate more, if i got calmer, i ate nothing. We ended up ditching the pills when i turned 11, since i grew up and could do things properly. I also didn't get diagnosed with autism until i was 9, so i was given completely incorrect treatments, hitting me even more.
I ofcourse took several of these things to principals, and teachers, but as said, that school had really NO precautions. Teachers had full right to just not give a fuck, which is exactly what they did 90% of the time.
Ask me whatever, tell me whatever. I probably wont answer alot since i'm not reddit much, but i just want to know if it's as bad as it really is.

2024.05.21 11:31 Toteldejesus How octogenarian Cecile Guidote-Alvarez rushed to the beauty salon to tackle West Philippine Sea

On a rainy Saturday afternoon not so long ago when internet connection was fluctuating in most homes, the 80-year-old Cecile Guidote-Alvarez, widow of the late Senator Heherson Alvarez, carrying a mini iPad, hurriedly alighted from a three-wheeled pedicab Toktok and stormed her way into a popular coffee shop in a mall in Manila.

A senior citizen in panic mode, she told the stunned baristas she’s looking for a Wi-Fi connection because she was about to interview retired Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio Carpio via Zoom.
The coffee shop, a known world brand, has Wi-Fi exclusive to its employees, so the old lady was told to try other establishments. She went from one coffee shop to another only to be told the same, until a kind stranger led her to a well-known beauty salon with a free internet connection.
The lady salon attendant was very accommodating to the octogenarian, even typing the password on her IPad. Of course, she needed to avail herself of their salon services. Initially, she opted for a haircut, but since she needed to talk and hear clearly who she was talking to, she settled for a foot spa with pedicure.
“They lowered the volume of the piped-in music, and since there were less customers because it’s been raining all day, I was able to do my interview,” Guidote-Alvarez said.
For the next half-an-hour, the hair dressers and manicurists working with their scissors, nail clippers and cuticle removers on their customers’ hair and fingernails, listened to Carpio and Guidote-Alvarez discussed how Filipino fishermen and the Philippine Navy ships helplessly negotiate their ways in Scarborough Shoal amid the territorial disputes in the West Philippine Sea.
“They were all very nice to me. I was able to finish my interview, with newly pedicured nails,” she told The Diarist.
For those who’ve worked with Guidote-Alvarez, her steadfast, almost stubborn, nature to accomplish a task, is nothing out of the ordinary. She would improvise, find alternatives, call up friends and former students, wake them up from sleep, just to get things done.
But now, in her 80s, legally blind and nearly deaf, she has mellowed down.
Cecile Alvarez with her mentors, National Artist for Literature Alejandro Roces, Jr and Fr. James Reuter. SJ
In her twilight years, Guidote-Alvarez has been solely hosting the 57-year-old Radyo Balintataw on DZRH, one of the oldest radio stations in the Philippines, where she tackles a wide range of topics, from climate change, women’s health, theater, culture, dance, to current issues, apart from playing old recordings of classic radio plays she produced and directed, dating back to the late ‘80s.
She shared with TheDiarist.ph how she started and continues to host one of the longest running advocacy programs on AM Radio.
Theater on TV
After founding the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) on April 7, 1967, or exactly 57 years ago, Guidote-Alvarez thought of the need to expose PETA’s members to television, so she started conceptualizing Balintataw, which in Filipino means the pupil of the eye, but in a larger context has something to do with having wild imagination, or what you might see if you have a third eye.
“I designed Balintataw as a bridge between cinema and the stage, where the youth being trained in theater skills can have a ready-made laboratory experience linked with the film and entertainment industry that would likewise have a natural on-the-job training and orientation regarding the theatrical discipline of working with a literary script, whether dramatic or comic—not the regular improvised script done on taping or copycat scripts from foreign themes,” Guidote-Alvarez wrote in her yet-to-be published Memoir of a Freedom Fighter’s Wife.
“A primary goal when I conceived PETA was to initiate and sustain artistic expression that draws meaning and power from the lives of the people, and sharing the literary gems with a greater number of audiences through a Broadcast Theater-Film Program with Balintataw on Channel 5,” she added.
“No matter how little the pay, at least it provided our local writers with a little honorarium. I sought permission for award-winning pieces of the Palanca Playwriting contest to be fleshed out to reach the masses. The much-awarded playwright Bert Florentino served as our literary manager, assisted by Mauro Avena. Eventually, Isagani Cruz took over when Bert left for the US,” she wrote.
“Writers need exposure and encouragement through a regular TV performance that will give them a sense of achievement and inspire them to keep on writing with some kind of honorarium. I was glad Lupita Aquino (now Kashiwahara) agreed to be TV director and Robert Arevalo as TV host.
She got members of the PETA Kalinangan Ensemble to serve as stage directors. “This is to undertake preliminary preparation with a rehearsal with the actors for character development and memorization and preliminary staging,” she wrote.
Five months after PETA was founded, Balintataw TV premiered on Channel 5 on Aug. 19, 1967, coinciding with the Buwan ng Wika birthdate of President Manuel Luis Quezon.
The first play, whose title escapes her now, featured Armida Siguion-Reyna and Maria Eva “Chingbee” Kalaw. She employed photo journalist and award-winning photographedocumentarist/cinematographer, Romy Vitug, to work with her in filming outdoor scenes for Balintataw.
In the pre-Martial Law Balintataw, among those initiated into television were Lino Brocka, Elwood Perez, Nick Lizaso, Maryo delos Reyes, Mario O’Hara, Joey Gosiengfiao, Behn Cervantes, and Frank Rivera.
Among the stage actors who crossed over to television were Lily Gamboa, Angie Ferro, Lorlie Villanueva, Jonee Gamboa, Joy Soler, Sherry Lara, Gardy Labad, Noel Trinidad.
Like with PETA, Guidote-Alvarez directed and managed Balintataw for five years. Because of Martial Law, she and husband Heherson went on exile in the US to escape a military shoot-to-kill order on Heherson, who was tagged as a subversive.
Post-Martial Law
Internationally acclaimed auteur Lav Diaz mentioned in several interviews how he learned writing radio and TV scripts in Balintataw.
This happened in the late 1980s, when the Alvarez couple returned from exile.
Despite its absence on the air in the Martial Law years, Balintataw was honored by Star Awards as among the 20 unforgettable outstanding broadcast programs in the Philippines.
“This encouraged me to consider reviving Balintataw on TV. Another blessing was a FAMAS award for having an important role in the development of cinema recognizing Balintataw as a bridge for synergizing cinema with the stage, providing a pathway of entry of our PETA artists into film and for movie stars to consider enriching their experience by acting on the legitimate stage,” Guidote-Alvarez wrote.
Though she didn’t return to PETA anymore because it had been surviving well and had its own set of officers led by Brocka, she just tapped some of its members for the return of Balintataw.
For 14 years, the Alvarez couple lived in the US as political exiles, shown here during a Ninoy Aquino Movement meeting. Cecile revived Radyo Balintataw upon their return in the late 1980s.
Channel 4 stint
“I arranged to revive TV Balintataw on Channel 4 in 1989. We began with a drama about a rebel returnee, title escapes me now, but I clearly remember it was written by Lualhati Bautista and directed by Maryo de los Reyes. We also had a good story series on the hazing of Lenny Villa, an Aquila Legis Frat neophyte,” she wrote.
At the time, Heherson had been elected senator after having served as Agrarian Reform Minister and eventually Cabinet Secretary during the first year of the Cory Aquino Administration.
“We were able to unravel the deadly hazing process from a fellow neophyte who broke the code of silence as we revealed graphically, acted the cruel process used. I had Jose Mari Avellana direct it. This presentation won all the awards. Lav Diaz was training with us and he started writing teleplays. We also had Nora Aunor in an adaptation of Bert Florentino’s The World Is An Apple, adapted by Frank Rivera, and I had Nick Lizaso direct.”
Emmy Awards
Balintataw TV was selected as one of five soaps for social change recognized by Emmy Awards. The Philippines was one of five countries cited, with Mexico, India, Brazil and Kenya.
“The nomination was made possible by the wonderful support from David Poindexter. It was a supreme honor for our country to be recognized in the Emmy Awards, to be cited among the five Third World countries using soap opera for social change.”
Poindexter was a Methodist minister and TV producer who founded the Population Communications International.
Surviving on radio
“In spite of the cry about how television can be deadening the minds of the people with copied themes with an eternal favorite love triangle story, there was really no funding for Balintataw,” she wrote.
“Sponsors would go naturally to the commercial stations where big stars were paid highly for the starring role. Balintataw may have substance but we could not afford payment of bankable stars,” she added.
“Financial stress forced me to drop TV and remain on radio because I didn’t want to kill Balintataw per se just because we didn’t have funds.”
Creative classroom
“We have focused on Balintataw as a creative classroom on the air. I was able to talk to Fred J. Elizalde of DZRH and the president of the network, Mr. Jun Nicdao,” she wrote.
In the ‘80s, the HIV/AIDS became a global epidemic and in the Philippines, the general populace was still clueless on how to deal with it.
“In order to get funding, the first series I did was about the explosive news regarding AIDS in Asia. I got the DOH Secretary at the time, Dr. Juan Flavier, to act as himself, providing the data. It was easier to start off with an AIDS radio serial.
They did a minimum of 13 episodes to raise awareness about the disease.
“From then on, some of our television scripts we transformed into a radio version. DZRH provided us with our initial production staff, so we used some from the network and some of its resident artists and drama talents. Our time slots were changing but always coming after the long-running horror drama, Gabi ng Lagim.
“We worked on the themes of overseas workers, the drug problem, corruption, aside from portraying contemporary and literary classics serving as social commentaries,” she wrote.
Women playwrights
“We dramatized the works of noted women writers and playwrights like Estrella Alfon, Genoveva Edroza Matute and Marilou Jacob, who is distinguished in being a founding president of Women’s Playwright International.
“Apart from our PETA staple of writers, we involved young, upcoming and budding university and community theater groups.
“We also had a lot of foreign plays, where we could feature theater festivals beyond borders. We could do Shakespeare, we could do Euripides but also the current playwrights in the Arab region we translated in our language.
“We brought in Chinese contemporary plays, Malaysian, Indonesian and from other women writers from ASEAN member countries.”
Virtual history book
“The significance of Balintataw is portrayed as a virtual history book on audio as it unveiled events in the country. Radio is fresh, instant and up-to date,” she added.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Balintataw became Guidote-Alvarez’s outlet and therapy. Having lost her husband on the second month of the pandemic, a widow cocooned at home, she began hosting it six days a week, learning how to use an iPad and interviewing via Zoom.
The word “Balintataw” has been associated with her name.
Visual artist and editorial cartoonist Benjie Lontoc in casual meeting told us how in his younger days, when AM Radio was a national past-time, he was surprised to hear a Filipino adaptation of No Exit by Jean Paul-Sarte. This was when radio was airing soap, fantasy adventures targeting housewives and children.
Another was the airing of Larawan as a radio play in the 1990s, with Guidote-Alvarez as the voice of Candida Marasigan.
Leopoldo Salcedo (left) as Manolo in a confrontation scene with Dante Rivero as Tony Javier in PETA’s 1968 ‘Larawan’ directed by Cecile Guidote-Alvarez. (Photo from PETA archives)
In the 1960s, she directed Larawan, the first Filipino adaptation of Joaquin’s A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino for PETA’s second season. It ran from December 1968 to January 1969 at the Raha Sulayman Theater at Fort Santiago in Intramural. In the cast were Rita Gomez (Candida), Lolita Rodriguez (Paula), Leopoldo Salcedo (Don Manolo) and Dante Rivero (Tony Javier).
Guidote-Alvarez has a funny recollection of the radio play. It was Nick Joaquin himself who told her years ago how his pedicurist suddenly started a conversation about Larawan.
Joaquin was relaxing on the barber’s chair having a post-haircut pedicure and foot spa when the lady pedicurist asked him how the story would end. Joaquin was stunned because he didn’t want to be known in the barber shop as Nick Joaquin the famous National Artist for Literature, but just a regular customer.
“He told me he almost fell out from the chair. He was a very private person and the pedicurist recognized him as the playwright,” Guidote-Alvarez, laughing, told TheDiarist.ph.
When she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000, she was given only three years to live. It’s been more than two decades since then. She has also conquered COVID-19 twice.
Over and beyond her work in theater and various advocacies, Guidote-Alvarez is among the few surviving practitioners of AM Radio broadcasting.
The beauty salon incident wasn’t a first for the octogenarian radio host. She occasionally went back there to interview guests and record her shows whenever Wi-Fi connections in her home fluctuated.
Despite all setbacks, man-made or otherwise, the steadfast Cecile Guidote-Alvarez’s voice continues to be heard in this mass media platform in an era that knows mainly Spotify. As Joaquin wrote, “to remember and to sing, that is her vocation.”
(Except Saturday, Radyo Balintataw airs daily on DZRH 666 Khz AM radio after ‘Gabi ng Lagim’, and live streamed on radio.org.ph. Some episodes have been uploaded on YouTube.)

2024.05.21 06:45 ThrowRA_1183 My husband m24 is a people pleaser and it’s making me f23 miserable. How can I save my marriage?

Hello everyone,
I’ve been with my husband for 6 years living together for 2 years. I love this man very much, but he’s a people pleaser. I have tried so many times to communicate it with him but he always thinks I am criticizing him which I don’t mean to. I really care about him, but last week I snapped and I told him I cannot handle it anymore and I want to end everything because I am always on edge because of this issue and it’s messing me up mentally.
The reason why I have reached this point is because I started recently noticing a pattern of the same issue with him, he always allows coworkers overstep boundaries and he had to leave multiple jobs because of this. I just feel unstable. Let me give some examples:
• My husband allowed his cousins coworker to move in with them temporarily because he was homeless. My husband felt “bad” for him, the guy started taking advantage of my husband. My husband started driving the guy everywhere, spending so much gas money. Then the guy started sending flirty messages to my husband. Then told my husband to leave me. I had a strong bad feeling about the guy from the beginning but my husband never listened to me. I had to beg and cry for him to kick him out and he eventually did.
• My husband started a new job, and he started telling his coworker about me. Me and my husband come from different cultures, my husband is mexican, i am arab. My husband’s coworker is arab, and really didn’t like the fact that my husband married me. I told my husband not to engage with him and to ignore him. But my husband didn’t because he felt “bad” for him because the coworker is Palestinian. So my husband would still talk about us and would still talk to the guy. The guy started calling my husband racist names, threatened to shoot him etc… so i had to beg my husband to report to HR, but he didn’t he only left the job. My husband’s other coworkers reported the guy and now investigators called my husband.
• Now my husband started working with me at the same job, i thought everything is ok now but no it’s not. I noticed my husband is always trying to be funny and nice all the time. One of my female coworkers took it the wrong way, my husband told me the only reason why he talks to her is because he feels “bad” for her because she’s fat. She crossed her boundaries by asking my husband to wax my body, this time my husband shut her down right away and told her to stop. I really feel so weird around her now, because she never spoken to me about anything other than work and I am not really friends with her. Also told my husband the only reason he married me because I am submissive, which is stereotypical and racist.
But do you all see the pattern? I feel so vulnerable and unsafe in my marriage, I always tell him to be aware of everything but he doesn’t listen, anything that comes out of my mouth is critsizim in his eyes. With all these issues, I am always dragged into them too. It’s draining the life out of me. I told him that he only attracts people that want to hurt him but he tells me he is just being nice and it’s his character.
Today he spoke to me, told me he is worried about me because i am always stressed and on edge, i told him i don’t feel safe anymore. He told me that he noticed a pattern and he will work on himself. But I have so much doubt and distrust but I really want this to work out, I really love him. How can I overcome this people pleasing issue in my marriage? I am really worried that we can never overcome this issue and I will lose him.

Some points about me:
  1. 100% anti-Israel, they nickname me.... no wait I got my post removed last time I said that :(
  2. Works in IT. People think I'm smart but I just Google shit. If I was a doctor, my medicine degree would read "graduated from Google's search engine with honors".
  3. Pretty (sometimes). بس الجمال جمال الروح يعني
  4. Funny (occasionally). Very dark sense of humor. Think of a black hole, my humor is darker.
  5. Awesome (usually).
  6. Likes movies and TV shows a lot. I watch a variety of things. But horror, comedy, and the apocalypse are my favored genres.
  7. Impeccable music taste and if you don't agree then you're a fascist.
  8. Wifey material.... I learned to cook recently (actually more than a year ago) so you know that my kitchen be cooking ;)
  9. Speaks Arabic and English.
  10. Very sweet but hides under layers of humor so I can cope with the daily horrors of being a human.
About you:
  1. Also anti-Israel they nickname him my boyfriend ;) كيفني معك؟
  2. Is male between the ages of 27-32.
  3. Doesn't mind being seen in public with me.
  4. Has a job, and is ambitious.
  5. Ready & willing (on gunpoint) to spend all (okay most of) his time and money on me.
  6. Isn't afraid of words or healthy communication.
  7. Sweet & caring.
  8. ????
  9. Isn't afraid to DM me. (you should be, I'll doxx you and take them sweet shekels from the most moral army in the world).
  10. Speaks Arabic and English.
  11. Can send a message that is more than "hi how are you" or "insert sexually explicit thing that nobody asked for". Effort is sexy, don't write me a novel, but also don't be lazy in your message. If you don't put in effort, I WILL ignore you.

2024.05.20 21:15 NoBarracuda6765 What's Your Take on My Journey? Apologies for the Lack of Details and Any Mistakes!

Hello, my name is Abdi. Due to a temporary ban from Reddit, I can't post this right now, but I hope my story resonates with others who are new to experiences of doubt. This is a reflection on my life, from childhood to adulthood, highlighting significant moments that have profoundly impacted me.
I was born and raised in Karaan, Mogadishu, Somalia. My family wasn't particularly religious; I rarely saw my mom pray. We had limited access to TV and video games, usually only on Fridays. One of my fondest childhood memories is watching the TV series "BeastMaster." Despite not understanding the language, I loved the adventure and the hero's bond with animals.
My mother preferred Sufi madrasas over Wahhabi ones, avoiding the rigorous Tajweed lessons. She homeschooled us initially, teaching us to read and write before enrolling us in school. Starting school with a basic education made learning enjoyable. I loved the classroom environment and the interaction with classmates and teachers. I excelled in subjects like science and math but struggled with Arabic and Islamic studies.
A rebellious child, I often went against my mom's wishes. I remember playing with puppies in the alley despite her warnings. My mom, a mix of Sufi beliefs and superstitions, valued education, which I'm grateful for, especially given Somalia's unstable political situation. As warlords took control, education remained a priority.
My introduction to doubt began in school. A teacher dismissed the theory of evolution as useless, sparking my curiosity about scientific theories. Another teacher's lesson on fate and choice, using logical propositions, left a lasting impression on me.
Growing older, I gained some independence, a privilege my mom allowed. I hung out with friends and learned new things.
One night during Ramadan, in 2013, my friends and I, though not particularly religious, decided to play games instead of praying taraweeh. A friend brought along a chess set, and I was curious to learn. He kindly taught me the basics—the names of the pieces, the rules, and strategies. As time went on, I became a fast learner, focusing on simple things like piece movement and positioning.
Then, one night while taking a walk, I stumbled upon a place where people played chess. I watched for hours until only a few remained. When someone needed a partner to play with, I offered to join in. Confident in my newfound skills, I arranged the pieces correctly. However, as I began to play, it became clear I was a beginner. The experienced players began advising me on moves and strategies. I memorized their suggestions and gradually improved, eventually becoming a formidable opponent. I enjoyed the challenge and the sense of accomplishment it brought.
In December 2014, I watched the movie "PK," which profoundly impacted my perspective on religion. It opened my mind to different views and made me skeptical without realizing it. By Ramadan 2015, I had joined a group where we challenged each other with riddles. This experience led me to discover new things about myself.
In 2016, while browsing Facebook, I stumbled upon a group called “True Somali Freedom Page,” where people criticized Islam. Initially, I found it funny and thought it was between them and God. But curiosity drove me to interact with them. I started questioning aspects of Islam, such as references to slavery and violence in the Quran. These conversations led me to doubt my beliefs.
I created a fake account to express my doubts and ask questions about Islam. My friend warned me that this freedom in questioning would label me as “gaal” (non-believer). I began to understand that questioning didn't make me a non-Muslim but a curious seeker of truth.
Eventually, I lost touch with the friend who had long phone conversations with me about life and Islam. We used to engage in deep discussions about the nature of God and the universe. We debated philosophical questions like the problem of evil, the concept of free will, and the nature of consciousness. These conversations were enlightening, pushing me to think critically and examine my beliefs more closely.
One discussion that stands out was about the nature of God. We pondered whether God is omnipotent and omnibenevolent, why there is suffering in the world, and how different religions interpret these concepts. We also questioned the authenticity and morality of religious texts, wondering if they truly represented divine will or human interpretations. These philosophical debates sparked a profound shift in my perspective, leading me to explore various philosophical and theological writings.
I started feeling lonely and needed friends who shared my thoughts. I made poor decisions, including traveling to a country I wasn't prepared for. My English skills were lacking, and I struggled with basic life skills. This led to a cycle of misery and depression.
With no degree or significant skills, I found myself drifting. I tried to improve my English and understand myself better by reflecting on past mistakes. I realized I had been influenced by others and often trusted people too easily. This self-awareness made me want to change.
I began reading self-help books and practicing mindfulness. I got a job at a hotel, which allowed me to meet people from around the world. My boss taught me valuable life lessons, and I became engrossed in self-help ideas. However, I made the mistake of showing off my progress to old acquaintances, which led to a setback. I lost my job and struggled with maintaining my routine.
I repaired my relationship with my family to gain financial support while I focused on healing and learning. This strategy worked, but I realized I couldn't keep deceiving my mom. I found a job and started rebuilding my life, but I also befriended people who were bad influences. One friend, in particular, took advantage of me, leading to financial and emotional strain.
I managed to secure a new job and distanced myself from negative influences. I focused on understanding myself better through journaling and learning about psychology. I listened to podcasts like Sam Harris' "Making Sense" and read extensively about mental health and human behavior.
As I continued to learn and grow, I began to reflect more on my past experiences. I rediscovered my love for cooking and started thinking more positively. With this newfound understanding, I formed a new identity and corrected my misconceptions.
However, I became overwhelmed by the realization of everything I had lost and the people I had wronged. I decided to start over, rebuild, and right my wrongs. Despite making some naive decisions, my keen observation skills and gut instinct helped me navigate through life.
I wondered if I deserved the situations I found myself in. Reflecting on my actions, I realized the importance of clear thinking and communication for progress. I embraced the advice to laugh and stay positive.
As I continue to learn and live, I keep questioning my choices and understanding my past better. This journey has taught me that problems eventually fade and become just stories. Educate yourself because knowledge is power. Understanding that you don't know everything is a good start.

What model seagull is this?
Does anyone know which model seagull this is, funny enough I bought it a long time ago and I've always loved it to get over this open heart movement and retrograde complication. I'm actually quite interested in getting another one, but for the life of me I cannot figure out which one is this model. I saw another one with Arabic numeral, but never this model with Roman numeral. If anyone can point me towards it I'll be very grateful.

2024.05.20 08:52 Weird-Dig-5310 USA assassinated Iran's president. Let's mourn Saddam, too.

Saddam Hussein was a far left humanitarian. He came to power through the socialization of the Iraqi economy. He gave women equal rights and maintained a secular non islamic society. He gave Iraqi's free education and healthcare. He nationalized the oil industry which was his greatest sin in the eyes of the west.
In the 80s we convinced Kuwait to steal Iraq's nationalized oil, leading to Desert Storm. But you never hear this part of the story.
Later the USA committed 9/11 in order to justify further expansion into the middle east. We attack the middle east to support radical islamic terror, not to fight it. Because Islamicists oppose communism. Our bombs traumatize families into radical Islam.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_and_coping_with_trauma
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blowback_(intelligence))
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegations_of_CIA_assistance_to_Osama_bin_Laden
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_Republic_of_Afghanistan
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Tailwind
The following is an OSS document on the spread of communism in the middle east from shortly before the founding of Israel.
https://www.cia.gov/readingroom/docs/DOC_0000709430.pdf
The Orthodox Moslem clergy and their followers continue to regard Communism as an anti-religious movement which promotes undesirable social practices.
The Moslem clerics and propertied groups who control Egyptian politics remain strongly opposed to Communism, and the government itself, aware of the rising political importance of the working class, endeavors to maintain control over all political activity in labor circles.
document further describes our Israeli support motive.
Until the Arab-Jewish conflict is settled, however, the bulk of politically articulate groups among both Arabs and Jews will probably remain absorbed in their respective nationalist struggles and are unlikely to be influenced by Communist propaganda.
This is why after WE committed 9/11 we attacked a secular regime in the name of "combatting Islam". Which DIRECTLY led to the creation of anticommunist ISIS.
Edit: Isn't it funny how so many people here are downvoting because they're trying to cover up the facts about the Iraq War and the real reasons we went in. The right-wing of politics is the same now as it was under the Bush administration. Be not fooled by all the pseudopopulist masks and the pseudopopulist shapeshifting.
There are precisely 2 narratives you're allowed to believe about Iraq or 9/11 in America. One is the official one from the Bush administration and the 9/11 report. The other is "jews did it" because "jews did it" is how the fascists who run this society scapegoat and evade accountability for their crimes against humanity.
Edit2: It's already widely known, but I probably should post a wiki to Operation Northwoods. US govt plan to kill US citizens in order to blame it on commies. Falseflag.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods
We'll sometimes hear about Operation Northwoods in the online information sphere today but what's always missing? It's the part about where it was all about demonizing communists and directing new attacks and wars against them. Ask yourself why people like Tucker Carlson or Alex Jones always make sure to leave those bits out or only mention them in passing.

2024.05.19 16:34 Rich-Distance-6509 Stop blaming the West for nonwhite people killing each other

Why do people outside the West never get called out for being far more racist than we are? It’s hilarious that the cultures of Africa and the Middle East are so violent and intolerant that it’s just taken for granted. Like how colonial borders are explained as a ‘cause’ of ethnic violence in these regions. It’s funny, that, because there are plenty of countries in the West that are ethnically diverse yet you don’t see people here routinely trying to massacre each other. Here in the UK there are lots of different ethnic groups within our borders, yet I manage to go every single day without trying to kill anyone. Amazing, right? In fact if you said we should separate our ethnic groups into different borders, as they say we should have done for Africa or the Middle East, then you’d (rightfully) be called a racist. Yet it’s different for them! Lovely people Arabs and Africans, wonderful people, yet the moment you put them in a country with another ethnic group they get an irresistible urge to kill other! It’s the strangest thing. They’re lovely people of course, they’ve never done anything wrong, but you have to keep them away from anyone different from them, or they’ll get an irresistible, overwhelming urge to kill them! It’s all the West’s fault of course, for putting them in the same country together. They’re just innocent victims, it’s not their fault, but the evil West drew borders that put them (gasp) in proximity to other ethnic groups, so they simply had no choice but to set about massacring each other! Poor little things.

2024.05.19 00:17 Crazy_Refrigerator82 Dealing with discrimination with no one to talk to about it.

So, I'm an Iraqi. I lived in Iraq for the majority of my life. Iraq is a Muslim country with the majority being Shia Muslims (this is important). I came to the UAE about four years ago. We didn't know at first if we would even live here, as it started as a vacation in Dubai.
Now I've been in school in the UAE for about 3 years (almost into my 4th). My parents have always warned me about telling anyone that I am a Shia Muslim as the UAE majorly consists of Sunnis. Not very fun fact: Sunnis don't exactly take kindly to Shias. It's not even a "Oh you're Shia I don't want to be your friend" type of thing. Its more of a "Oh you're Shia? You are (most of the time) getting flown back to your country, discriminated against, bullied, made fun of, ignored, etc.."
This only applies to us btw. Any other religion/sect are not treated this way.
Now, many people would tell me to just say I am sunni and save myself from all the hassle. And that is exactly what I am doing. And I am still getting treated as a Shia because I'm from Iraq. My name also plays into this as its mostly a Shia name (Ali) and my father's name also is a Shia name (the rules don't allow me to say it). I was in complete disbelief when a Christian the other day came up to me and said "You think you're funny you filthy Shia?" He said it in Arabic but that's the rough translation. BRO, WE'RE BOTH MINORITIES.
I have decided that I'm going back to Iraq as soon as I graduate from school. As I can't keep this up any longer. But I cant keep all this bottled up inside me and I just feel like I'm gonna explode any moment. I have to keep this shit up for another 3 years. I have dealt with so much shit and God knows what I'm going to deal with next. I usually don't post emotional posts at all, let alone one this long.

We got white Northern Italians, who are similar to French and Germans genetically, then we got this Pygmy thing in Southern Italy and Sicily. “White”? I told you, they’re a glorified Greek/Arab/North African amalgam.
People who look like Vito, Big Pussy, et al are not white, no matter how many notes they get from their doctah.
It’s funny watching them try to look down on other people to make themselves feel better.

Cause he’s black and a samurai hunting down others in the Land of the Rising Sun?
Its funny how much effort & importance they’re giving the game just because they didn’t like the idea of a man of African ancestry being the hero/main character in a foreign country lolololol. Who cares if he’s black?, so what, it’s not a big deal as they are making it seem, not all characters have to be white, arab or mixed. I get that some probably would have wanted an asian playing the role of the samurai, but you know how many games already exist with samurai’s of asian descent running around and beating every corrupt government character, thief, ninja or evildoer. One game with a different character won’t kill anybody🤦🏻‍♂️, the saddest part is that that individual (Yasuke I think is his name) did exist and was given the Samurai title.
Edit: I over exaggerated the part of being one of the most important figures in 16th century, my bad

2024.05.17 01:31 Common-Compote3949 The idea of chain of transmission in hadiths

The idea of chain of transmission in hadiths
Article: The idea of chain of transmission in hadiths
the recognition of fair historian non muslims : Asad Rustam - Orientalists: Margoliouth - Bernard Lewis!!
(To read their confessions, you can go directly to the end of the article)
In a scene some of you may have seen before: They come in a long line of people (for example, 20 or 30 individuals) with their backs to each others - then the first of them turns his back to the rest until one of the people tells him a simple story or shows him a simple movement (for example, as if he was getting up to sit on a motorcycle), Then he is asked to convey the simple story or simple movement to the one who After him - and the next to the next and so on to the last person in the line ـ And the surprise! :
We notice the changes that occurred in the story or movement when it reached the last person - and here the ignorant atheists and deniers of the Sunnah shout with joy, saying: "See? This is a practical experience that you cannot deny that the idea of chain of transmission in hadiths is wrong and impossible!!" ـ The question is: This popular experience actually suits “the general public” in order to prove to them the possibility of the transmission of speech between them being wrong and inaccurate - but: Is “the science of hadith” in Islam and the Sunnah really like this?!! ـ The truth is: There are differences in every part of this example from ((the science of hadith))!! Let's count it together: ـ ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ First: between the lay person and the muslim hadith narrator ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ All the people in the long line: They are chosen from “the general public” in a random way, meaning: They have no relation to the science of hadith and do not worry about ((especially the conditions for accepting the chain of transmission)) - meaning: ـ We can do the same experiment to deny, for example, that (geometry) is important!! Or even (medicine)!! All you have to do is bring a group of random people and give them, for example, concrete, iron, and bricks. Then you ask them to build a building of 3 floors. Then, when the building is completed, you say: See, there is no point in studying engineering!!! ـ Or you give some ordinary and random people surgical, cutting and cutting tools, then you let them work on 10 patients under anesthesia to treat them, for example: Then when the patients die, you say with all pride: You see: there is no benefit in studying medicine!! ـ Now: What exactly happens in Hadith science? The answer:
Each of the narrators (represented by a person in the line) will not stand in the line (i.e., his narration will not be accepted) unless his conduct is confirmed as: ـ 1- The name and circumstance are known (and ignorance of which makes the hadith weak or fabricated)
2 - Strong memorization at the time of hearing and at the time of reporting, with synonymous variations with the same meaning (because the hadith is not worshiped by its recitation like the Qur’an, so it is permissible to narrate it in the meaning)
3- His justice (i.e. he is not known to lie, betray, bear false witness, etc.)
4- Evidence that he was contemporaneous with at least one who heard from him, or they were both brought together in one city, or he declared that he had heard from those before him with the wording, he told us, or he narrated to us, or we heard. To the rest of these conditions for ruling on (the authenticity of the narrator’s acceptance of the chain of transmission) ـ The more difficult the conditions are, the more authentic the book of hadiths is than others (hence the preference for Sahih al-Bukhari, as we will talk about in an upcoming article, God willing, to demolish the lies about it as well). ـ All of this is known by the scholars of hadith (or scholars of the term hadith) from what they collected about the details of the lives of every companion, follower, follower of the follower, and narrators (which is what is called the translation of a person): such as the year of their birth and death - and at the hands of those who heard the knowledge and hadith - and from their students who heard from them after that. - Where did they travel - and when did they travel - and what were their morals and justice? - Or what was the injury to their morals and justice? - Did their memorization change as they grew older, for example, or not - and when exactly did this change in their memorization occur - and so on ـ This is what is called in Hadith science (Books of Biographies) or (Books of Jarh and Ta’deel) or (Ilm al-Rijal).
The question again: Do we now see any relationship between that accuracy of science of hadith and the popular experience in which there is a row of random, unknown people who were not selected according to any criterion: neither in memorization, nor understanding, nor accuracy, nor knowledge, nor honesty?! ـ This means that if we wanted to apply (some) of the rules of hadith science to the experiment, before we chose the people in the class, we would first test: the strength of their memorization - and the accuracy of their verbal or motor performance!! Then we choose those who pass the test!! ـ ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Second: The number of people and narrators!! ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ In the popular experience, 20 or 30 and perhaps more people were included - while in the science of hadith, oral transmission ends as soon as it is written down - as long as it is written down, then it has been preserved in a book and the transmission process has ended. ـ This only follows the oral narrations - as it is known that there were companions who (wrote) hadiths in the life of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace - such as our master Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas - and we are also not talking about (the Qur’an) which Muslims recite as it is in their prayers five times a day. (In addition to standing, worshiping, Tarawih, etc.)!! Moreover, the Qur’an is written and preserved!! ـ Therefore, even the number of many people in the dozens in a row in the popular experience is not suitable for comparison in the science of hadith!! The longest chain of transmission for a hadith is only one hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari, consisting of 9 narrators (which is a hadith of woe to the Arabs)!! Most of the hadiths are less than that ـ It is enough for us to know that the first (collection) of written hadiths from the Companions and followers who were contemporary with the Companions was in the year 100 AH - at the instruction of the Commander of the Faithful, Omar bin Abdul Aziz, the fifth of the Rightly Guided Caliphs - and this hundred years is the death of the last companion of the Companions, who was (Amer bin Wathilah Al-Laithi - Abu Tufail). )!! ـ This means that if one of the scholars of that period narrated a hadith on the authority of Wathilah al-Laythi, on the authority of a companion older than him, on the authority of the Prophet: there would be no one between them!! It means a chain of transmission from one person, then the Prophet!! Thus, we see many chains of narration between its recording in the books of hadith and the Prophet having only two or three narrations (therefore, it is one of the most authentic and highest chains of narrations) - such as: - Al-Zuhri’s narration on the authority of Salem, on the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet!! And like the narration of Malik on the authority of Nafi’ on the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with him!! Imam Malik’s Muwatta was compiled in 158 AH!! This means that there is only 2 between him and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace!! - Is there a comparison between that and a row of 20 or 30?!! By the way, most of Imam Malik’s Muwatta is found in the Musnad of Imam Ahmad and in the Sahih of Imam al-Bukhari, as we will see in an upcoming article. These are just some of the thousands of chains of narrations from the Followers and Companions on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace!! Glory be to God Almighty - ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Third: The power of preserving the early Arabs ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ It is what the Arab nation was famous for even before Islam - one of them used to memorize hundreds and thousands of verses of poetry!! They used to hold competitions in their most famous markets (such as Souq Okaz) - and the hospitality was as great as the seven well-known commentators. - This leads us to a question: How do those with poor memory today measure such abilities in themselves?! Is there any similarity between them and those Arabs with the ability to memorize most of them?!! Indeed, by God, most of us today hardly remember a phone number except our own phone!! If it increases, it may be one or two numbers with difficulty!! This is due to the feature of saving numbers in our mobile phones - but before the spread of these mobile phones: most of us used to save at least 20 landline numbers, for example, for our phone and the phones of our family, friends, and work!! ـ The need to memorize is what stimulates and activates the memorization parts of the brain - and the Arab and Bedouin in ancient times used to walk in deserts extending for hundreds of kilometers, and he must memorize the routes of walking in them with every precision and every detail, no matter how small, otherwise the sand will swallow him - or he will get lost and die of thirst or burn under the flames of the sun. !! ـ ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Fourth: The importance of the topic ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Of course, there is a difference between 20 or 30 random people who may not have a specific lofty goal or sacred duty, such as reporting on the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in common - unlike the science of hadith, which creates a religious and doctrinal motivation within each narrator to increase concentration, memorization, and attention to the highest levels - and out of hope for the Prophet’s promise. Peace be upon him : - ((May God bless a person who hears a hadith from us and memorizes it until someone else conveys it. Perhaps he carries jurisprudence to someone who is more knowledgeable than him, and perhaps he carries jurisprudence and is not a jurist.)) Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and others with an authentic chain of transmission. - Likewise, fear of the threat of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: ((Lying about me is not the same as lying about anyone else. Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in Hell)) Narrated by Al-Bukhari and others with an authentic chain of transmission. - Therefore, we are not surprised that, to this day - in addition to the annual Qur’an memorization competitions (and this alone is a miracle that we did not talk about): there are competitions for memorizing the entire six or nine books of hadith!! It means support and text!! And from whom? From children under the age of eleven and fifteen!! - (The six hadith books: Sahih Al-Bukhari - Sahih Muslim - Sunan Al-Tirmidhi - Sunan Al-Nasa’i - Sunan Ibn Majah - Sunan Abi Dawud) and the nine additional books (Muwatta’ of Imam Malik - Musnad of Imam Ahmad - Sunan Al-Darimi) - Glory be to Him, the Guide, Glory be to Him, who facilitates the memorization of religious texts - ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Fifth: What did the fair non muslim people say about the science of hadith?! ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ And here we mean non-Muslims (especially Christians) - who (and some of you may be shocked by this information): They do not have the original text of the Gospels as spoken by Jesus, peace be upon him!! Since the oldest 4 Gospels were approved by the Council of Nicaea in 235 AD and the rest were burned: they were written in Greek!! While Jesus, peace be upon him, spoke Hebrew or Aramaic!! ــ This is a big point and question mark in the face of the “Formation of Atheists” Foundation, led by Ibrahim Issa, for its attempt to cast doubt on the Sunnah and Islamic history!! Where, as is the custom of atheists and their selectivity: he tries to butt the mountain of steadfast and solid hadith in which every word has an authentic or weak chain of narration!! He leaves out the Christian Gospels, which do not even qualify as “the story of the life of Christ,” peace be upon him!! There are no chains of narration in it at all (neither authentic nor weak) ـ The meaning, in more detail, is that the 4 official Christian Gospels are of unknown lineage and the status of the writers (Matthew, Luke, John, and Mark). Therefore, they do not even qualify to be compared to the books of the Sunnah, Hadith, and Biography (although our Biography books are much weaker than the Hadith books), but at least they have chains of narration. We judge from it whether it is strong or weak - and it is mentioned in it who is narrating from whom!!) ـ Thus, we confirm the orientation of an atheistic institution such as (Takween) and that it was not supported externally or internally except to fight Islam only!! Therefore, there is no surprise if among its members is the priest Rifaat Fikri... whose job is to try to polish Christianity after the atheists who are with him question Islam!! -
Christian historian: Asad Rustam
He is the first one we will mention quickly: he is a Lebanese Christian doctor and historian - who worked as a professor of Arab history at the American University of Beirut - and who holds a doctorate in history from the University of Chicago - he says: - ((Hadith: knowledge and narration History: knowledge and narration: So we have a term for history, just as hadith scholars have a term for hadith!! This is from the introduction to his book ((The Concept of History)) - The historian doctor called in his book and his long scientific career that it is time for the science of history to be disciplined in its narration - and for precise and decisive rules to be established for accepting transmission, just as the Muslims did in the science of hadith, which he described as: ((A modern scientific method: to correct news and narrations))!! - Then comes an ignorant person like Ibrahim Issa, who makes a mistake in every two words he says about the Sunnah, biography, or history - and as he did in his first video at the Takween Foundation (watch Dr. Haitham Talaat’s video: Enlightenment by forgery Ibrahim Issa and questioning the Prophet’s biography). We will put his link in the comments. ـ Indeed, Asad Rustam says more clearly: ((Among what Farid mentions with admiration and appreciation is what hadith scholars have reached hundreds of years ago in this regard, and here is some of what was stated in their works, which we present verbatim and to the letter, in acknowledgment of their scientific scrutiny, and in recognition of their credit to history))!! - Glory be to God Almighty The thing that atheists and deniers of the Sunnah do not stop at because of their extreme ignorance is that “the science of hadith” in Islam is a unique science that has not existed in any nation before!! Indeed, all the famous historians in the world were just telling stories: we do not even know enough information about the historians themselves (truthful - lying - learned - ignorant) - and perhaps Herodotus is the best example of this and the funny wonders that his writings contain (such as what he reported about the reason for the color of Negroes by The Abyssinian sperm is black!! ـ Rather: All the narrations of history are whose authors or recorders are unknown, whether in what we find in manuscripts or on walls and temples!! Did they believe it? Did they lie? Did they exaggerate? Who are they even?! no one knows !! ـ As for Islam: it is never like this, thanks to God

This is because when God Almighty promised to memorize the Qur’an: it was logical for him to inspire Muslims to memorize the clear Sunnah of the Qur’an, as we said before!! Prayer is mentioned in the Qur’an and the Prophet explained and performed it. How will it reach Muslims over hundreds of years if it is not made easy for Muslims to memorize the Sunnah orally and in writing?!

ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Orientalist Margoliouth ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ This man, David Samuel Margoliouth, did not leave anything in Islam without trying to cast doubt on it, even literature and history. However, despite his lying to distort the Sunnah sometimes, his scholarly standing refused to admit the truth reluctantly, so as not to lose the trust of his students and followers in him!! - He says :
But though the theory of the Isnad has occasioned endless trouble, owing to the inquiries which have to be made into the trustworthiness of each transmitter, and the fabrication of traditions was a familiar and at times easily tolerated practice, its value in making for accuracy cannot be questioned, and the Muslims are justified in taking pride in their science of tradition.
source: David Samuel Margoliouth - Lectures on Arabic Historians - 1929 - p.20 ـ ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ orientalist Bernard Lewis ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ He is a British-American honorary professor of Middle Eastern studies - and a famous thinker, writer, and orientalist (who came up with the idea of dividing the new Middle East) - he says: ((Early on: Islamic scholars realized the danger of false testimonies and corrupt doctrines, so they developed a science for criticizing hadiths and heritage, which is (the science of hadith) as it was called.. - It differs for many considerations from the science of modern historical criticism!! While modern studies have proven a constant difference in evaluating the authenticity and accuracy of ancient narratives (i.e. in non-Islamic narratives): we find that a careful examination of it (i.e. the science of hadith) with its attention to the chains of transmission and chain of transmission and its careful collection and preservation of variables in the transmitted narrative gives medieval Arab history professionalism and development. Never before in ancient times!! Without even finding anything like it in the West in the Middle Ages at that time!! ـ When comparing it (i.e. the science of hadith among Muslims) with Latin Christian history: the latter appears poor and weak!! Even the most advanced and complex methods of history in the Greek Christian world are still less than the historical works of Islam in terms of total diversity, volume and depth of analysis!! ـ Original text : From an early date Muslim scholars recognized the danger of false testimony and hence false doctrine, and developed an elaborate science for criticizing tradition. " Traditional science", as it was called, differed in many respects from modern historical source criticism, and modern scholarship has always disagreed with evaluations of traditional scientists about the authenticity and accuracy of ancient narratives. But their careful scrutiny of the chains of transmission and their meticulous collection and preservation of variants in the transmitted narratives give to medieval Arabic historiography a professionalism and sophistication without precedent in antiquity and without parallel in the contemporary medieval West. By comparison, the historiography of Latin Christendom seems poor and meagre, and even the more advanced and complex historiography of Greek Christendom still falls short of the historical literature of Islam in volume, variety and analytical depth. ـ source: Bernard Lewis, Islam In History, 1993, Open Court Publishing, pp.104-105 ـ ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ We will suffice with this amount so as not to prolong it Especially after Bernard Lewis's last statement and his comparison of the knowledge of hadith and its accuracy in Islam: with the poor Latin Christian history!! Will the atheist (free thinkers) inspire us in (Genesis): By directing some of their outstanding geniuses to criticize the weariness of the Gospels and Christian books?! Or is the guidance and support, as we said, intended to fight Islam only?!
