 | I haven't seen this posted here. But I feel its important to post aswell for awareness and education. In February 1992 Jeffrey dahmer was found guilty to 15 accounts of intentional homicide and was sentenced to 999 years or life in a correctional institution. At this time Jeffrey was Diagnosed with a few disorders aswell as parphalias. One of these disorders was BPD (borderline personality disorder). The characteristics of BPD are as follows. Abandonment issues, disturbed patterns of thinking, splitting, impulsive behaviour, intense but unstable relationships with others, outbursts, unable to control themselves, addictions and suicidal idelation or impulses. Why am I making this post? May is BPD awareness month a month to educate aswell as awareness on the subject. Jeffrey in true crime is one of the main examples of an BPD cocktail of disaster. Unfortunately he was diagnosed too late into life and with that he was never treated for it nor was he aware he had such an severe disorder. But what it does explain is his irregular behaviour patterns, impulsive Thinking, abandonment issues due to child hood trauma from the divorce. Addiction (alcohol, drugs, killing) and the constant need for relationships or companionship. Unfortunately back in the 70s,80s,90s this disorder wasn't heard of as it today. With that being said its important that you educate yourselves on this topic aswell as if you have symptoms of it to get them check and so you can get right help and support. I used Jeffrey as an example as his case of BPD was very severe and it made judgment for most of his actions.  | I've been crocheting for about 6 months now and began a hexagon cardigan the other day for my toddler. Tried following a written pattern but didn't understand it so I went with PassionKnit's tutorial instead. I then was able to get the desired arm circumference, went to crochet the sides together to create the arm and realized that one side is somehow 2 clusters longer than the other. I'd really rather not frog it unless I absolutely have to. And yes, I did ensure that each cluster matched correctly when stitching the sides together--it's just that the front (blue section) in the end is two clusters longer than the back. So, question: is there a way to fix it/make it even without frogging and starting over? I have to keep reminding myself that not everyone has the same heart as me and I can’t apply rational, healthy relationship skills to these relationships… I try to keep reminding myself I’m not the problem…After a lifetime of these patterns and conditioning to believe I am.. it’s a constant internal struggle.
I’ve been NC with the life giver for a while, but things came to head with the sibling recently… and fell into cycling through the 3Rs ( Rumination, regret, recall).
I had a moment where I had the realization that I just feel this profound sense of abandonment. I remember feeling this feeling as a teenager through some exceptionally difficult times and didn’t know what to name it. It’s abandonment. It’s the desire for unconditional love and support from the one person that should surely provide it, a parent, and knowing she doesn’t think I’m worthy of it.
I wasn’t always the scapegoat. Was only over the last decade when I really started to separate myself from her, voice my true opinions-that don’t feed into her victim hood, and set boundaries that I became the SC.
They’ve aligned themselves in their deep contempt for me and it occurred to me that they’d only truly be satisfied if I were to unalive myself… sick thoughts to have about your “family”….
I’m trying so hard to believe in myself and to believe they’re the problem, not me, but… it hurts.

I don't want to post real photos cause I like my privacy, so this part is just Tell and no Show. (Might add one later if I can sensor identifying stuff out enough for my comfort) I challenged myself to crochet a mesh look long sleeve top without first looking up a pattern for it! The plan is to use it as an under layer with tank tops in the hotter weather cause I don't really like my upper arms uncontained. Going into my project challenge, I knew already how to make the mesh look stitches I wanted, but had to think out how to shape that properly around odd areas like in the armpit where mobility fights with stitch strength. I haven't tried such a complicated shape before and usually stick to making simple drawstring bags and pouches.The part that I'm proud of is that rather than making the mesh stitches into a flat T shaped item, there's a more rounded and dynamic comfort fit that creates extra give for full shoulder movement. I'll be finishing up the shirt today actually as I'm half way thru the last sleeve now. My test fit last night has me so pleased that it's turning out so close to my original idea! The bottom ends in a point in the front and back and I'm thinking of sewing a little snap strap to the back point so I can wear it like a smoothing bodysuit by snapping the front point to the back point. The points curl up if they're not weighted, so if I don't make it into a bodysuit, I should probably make little decorative bead dangles to weight them with.
