Dear Blockies,
I wanted to create this thread as a safe space on BlockedByJax for discussion of The Valley, takes on it, reviews on it, non-snark/non-overlydramatic and honest critiques, assessment of production quality, entertainment value, etc. I know pm all of us vowed to not even hatewatch it, and agreed that the promos looked so cringe. So even tho I’d probably feel shady enough and downvote you in another thread for saying you like The Valley, I’ll upvote you here and look forward to hearing you saying why you enjoy it. Almost as equally as I look forward to hearing why you hate it. 😂 Should i just stick to the clips and the main Bravo sub clips/snark or is the show a waste of time or not?
I’m still at that boycotting point we were at. I don’t believe in giving Jax, Brittany (and honestly MUCH moreso KKKristen Doute) a platform. Those three people deserve total anonymity. But I am open to the nuanced, trusted opinions of this sub (not being sarcastic). And since The Valley aired, I honestly have seen y’all gain empathy (like in a criminal psychology serial killer way that I approve of) for Jax and Brit, and more concern for their health of all things, surprisingly. And it’s making me wonder if:
a) the show is trying to produce a redemption arc for either or both of them (which I rebuke)
b) the producers lurk BlockedByJax and are ragebaiting us to our own delight and we are seeing them (specifically it seems Brittany) in a way the VPR producers refused to show.
c) we are seeing exponentially more candid, and therefore more harrowing Jax & Brittany moments, and all we’ve had to go on before to dissect their psyches and relationship were their curated social media content and podcasts.
d) the show has something else to offer other than watching this family slow kill themselves. hopefully entertainment value but I really still don’t see the draw (i.e. KKKristen, don’t know the rest of the cast. But I’m open to new ppl.)
So which is it? I ask because the past couple weeks in other Bravo subs, The Valley seems to be generating a LOT of discussion, the clips look tragic, and it is topping Bravo news on the web. Seen many people saying they haven’t seen VPR or RHOBH but are loving it. Some even saying they’re enjoying it more than VPR. I’m so confused.
But also consider that your average Bravo watcher without internet doesn’t even know that/why Stassi & Kristen were fired, that they’re all on cocaine and molly, or that Brittany stalked Jax to become famous. And the same viewers then comment on her insta she’s too sweet for Jax and hashtagrelationshipgoals. So idk who to trust but you.
(And I slightly digress here, but I finished the last season of Tabatha Takes Over after they released it all on Peacock, so I am going through RTV withdrawals. But that show was so quaintly overscripted with unsuspecting nobodies that I didn’t need to do all the conspiracy theory, pre-req, deep-cut research that VPR & RHOBH require to truly enjoy. So cumbersome. I just love unscripted Mess (ex. RHOM, The Traitors) or obviously scripted human zoo side show exhibits (ex. Millionaire Matchmaker, The Bachelor). Yes I’ve got issues.)
Clearly a lot of cognitive dissonance in my head about this you can tell I’m conflicted about the valley and truly need BlockedByJax professional advice. Thank you Jax haters.

As with the ref 30020 and 30040 the case has been carefully designed and manufactured to give the minute repeater a remarkable resonance, which is optimised by the ingenious use of a stud linking the case to the striking mechanism. And, thanks to its high copper content, which gives it its colour, the pink gold case adds to the quality of resonance. In 2010 the Cal 2755 was also launched in platinum with an opaline and a slate grey dial, the later having an even more contemporary look. Normally platinum is a metal which “absorbs” the chimes but the watchmakers at Vacheron Constantin have done a fantastic job and the chimes are almost as loud and pure as in the rose gold version. I have to admit that the Cal 2755 has the most amazing chime I have ever come across (a close second being the Patek Sky Moon tourbillon), the first time I heard it, it was in a room with people talking and music in the background and still the chimes could be perfectly heard. The Cal 2755 for me is a condensed representation of what Vacheron Constantin is: a beautiful design which is classical yet with a twist, perfect proportions, technical mastery and drop dead amazing movement finish. Techniques have not been sacrificed for design and there is no compromise in the design for the sake of techniques The cal 2755 is assembled from A to Z by the same watchmaker who also tunes the gongs (by filing away on the base of the gongs) to achieve the perfect chime. This effect is achieved by vacuum metallisation, a sophisticated technological process in which the gold letters are sprayed onto a sapphire crystal. The effect is amazing and depending on the inclination of the wrist the sapphire crystals hues vary as well as the coloring of the letters. I'm a guy of 24 and needed a place to rant and maybe get advice. I'm constantly on a emotional rollercoaster where some days i am happy and social. But others days i feel lifeless and emotionless where i pretend to be happy and social in order to not let it show which drains me. Most of the time when i'm alone i fall back into this negative state where i am full of anger desperation fear and sadness yet i cant pin down from where. And it is so hard to stop. Like the negative self talk just becomes immediately believable and i dont challenge it. While thinking positive often drains me and doesnt feel natural. After a outburst like this i am emotionless for a couple days. I don't feel nice in my own body and don't like who i am. Yet feel powerless to do anything about it. Like being stuck in my own life creating circumstances guided by my negative mind unable to turn the tide. This way of living takes a lot of energy out of me and even while having good friends and a stable job i enjoy i feel like i am never gonna be enough. Never am the person others can accept or want in their life. This is extreme in the dating scenario. My mind now sees threats everywhere which could harm my fragile self image. I was bullied earlier in life and probably took those rules to the rest of my life. I don't believe a girl can be interested in me so i make 0 effort even though i want to. Actually a fear of rejection.
The main thing that bothers me is I mostly know what makes me live this way. I know i have fear of rejection and that most negative things i say to myself don't make sense. Yet it is a habit where i cannot get out of. And that is really frustrating. I want to have a good life where i'm active with a hobby i like. Be an open and confident person who can make himself vulnerable and is open to romance. Sometimes i get some light shining through the curtains and i get motivation to actually do stuff about it. But most of the time i cant change my thinking patterns. I can argue with myself but the negative side always wins.
I read useful books, meditate and try to find something i can believe in. But whatever i do. It seems as though i can never break down the walls and be myself. It's so bad where i believe things that work for others don't work for me. That i can't have a good life like most of my social group. That everything i do i have to do twice because nothing ever works on the first try. The stupid thing is the causes of my habits and patterns seem so simple and i mostly know that im living wrong, thinking wrong and acting wrong. But i'm stuck on the ground and can't get up.

Did S4 significantly change paragon boards and the builds are out of date? Or is there a mechanic I'm missing?

Mods tweaking female armor need to be updated, but won't break your save or anything. Starborn Royalty - A Starfield Mod ListOld logo from promoting my writing career :PI added a new plugins.txt file to help guide you with load order. Royal Galaxy is an All-In-One for my mods, so if you run that, you don't need the other ones. *Royal Galaxy Vortex Collection not updated as too many of the included mods are still pending an update. Royal Galaxy only received minor updates and improvements as it worked out of the box with the latest patch. The way I mod is very simple and safe. This update was not required for this patch. The other versions works fine with this patch. I just made some tweaks, forwarded SFCP changes, and did small improvements where I could. As Bethesda made the game more fun for me, I'll be playing. I hope to finally get into my revision of the player dialogue in the Crimson Fleet and Ryujin quest lines, which I haven't particularly wanted to play through again. Royal Galaxy 2.50 - Massively Enhanced By Bethesda's Difficulty Configurators =)R.G !I've noticed many people either confused about what is contained in Royal Galaxy, or afraid that it is a massive mod that won't work with other mods. That couldn't be further from the case. I am a very Vanilla+ guy and I value compatibility above all. Over the many months I've been posting mods, I have had very few issues and user reports. This is because my mods only tweak vanilla records. This means they should be compatible with everything. I know the Creation Kit isn't out, and I certainly don't want to spend my time creating mods that end up breaking on a patch. As a result, I have stuck to what seems to be the safest method of modding via xEdit. Early reports of incompatibilities were caused by people ignoring directions and loading mods like craftable quality BEFORE Royal Galaxy rather than after. This new document attempts to break down the contents of Royal Galaxy into bullet points. I'll continue to update this as I remember the changes I have made. Modding Starfield was pretty much my full-time hobby this past year so the amount of work that went into tweaking everything is enormous. I tweaked, by hand, the inventories of specific NPCs to enhance the story, lore, ability to pickpocket, and difficulty of specific story encounters. Since Royal Galaxy is an AIO, it includes all the tweaks from the included mods. This old document includes all the bundled mods. In short, when you open up Starfield in xEdit, almost everything in the game is presented as tweakable, much like a config file. I went through the whole game and tweaked most things to be more fun and enjoyable and removed what I considered to be pain points. A few things I modded were more elaborate, like rebalancing Terromorphs, weapons, and redoing boring/useless weapon enchantments, but for the most part Royal Galaxy, and all my mods, are simple and safe. My biggest issue with my own work was the lack of easily-tweakable difficulty as some players found Royal Galaxy too hard. Bethesda did a fantastic job improving Royal Galaxy in the latest patch. =) In early game, you probably want incoming damage low and outgoing damage high. As you acquire more power, turn the difficulty up as much as you can. I think where people get confused is that I have so many mods posted, but also Royal Galaxy. My intention is that people can customize their game as much as they'd like. I think Royal Aliens, for example, is the de facto best alien overhaul by a ton. It is included in Royal Galaxy, but also maintained standalone for people who only want the aliens and otherwise like the game as-is or other modded ecosystems. There are a few pieces of Royal Galaxy that haven't gone standalone yet because life got busy and maintaining separate pages is difficult. I need to release the bundled Medicine overhaul standalone as that goes particularly well with the new survival. It goes over a whole list of breads, techniques, and troubleshooting guides. One ingredient it adds that is very different from everything I've seen on the internet is Instant Yeast in their sourdough starter. They also create their starter with skim milk and low-fat yogurt, but I digress.
Anyway have rookies making sourdough tried sprinkling a teaspoon of instant yeast when making their bread loaf to help with the leavening? Just a way to get a good loaf when techniqur and process isn't great yet.
I imagine many people would say it's not needed if you're starter in strong enough and you time everything out right. I'm not that skilled yet, and working with the dough and slowly lowering the instant yeast would help ensure I don't waste food with a bad loaf.

Hello everyone, it's my first post ever here on Reddit. I don't want to take a lot of your time so I will just cut to the chase. I worked hard and got lucky in my early twenties with my investments and last year I qualified for the D7 passive income visa. However, as you all know life here costs a lot more than a Portuguese minimal wage(rent alone is around 1000€). I am in Porto looking for jobs. But so far I couldn't find anything. I have a PhD in civil engineering from the University of Tokyo and in total 3 bachelor's degrees that are in business administration, geography alongside civil engineering from good unis. Could you please guide me? What should I do? I am still in my twenties so I can switch fields. I have a decent level of field engineer experience as well as some sales experience in the machinery industry. I really want to make Portugal my home. I started learning Portuguese but it would take a long time before I can say I am confident with the language. Thank you very much.

2024.05.19 15:46 anhydrous_ I (21)M) finally met my long distance girlfriend (19)of 2 years a week ago for the very first time and that's the happiest moment of my life.
I'm here in this city for my bachelor studies and she just finished her high school and will be free for a couple months till results. Her family had plans to visit these few places after her exams are completed and also they were here for visiting their relatives.
Her parents don't know about us...and.. it'd be very terrible for us if they know about it since dating and being in relationship in such young age is overlooked and considered a little bad where we live.
She was here for four days...her parents had plans to go to certain places for these days.
They went to certain museums and temples and parks...and I asked if it's safe if I come and I went wherever it was possible.
And....at one place, she stayed a little far away from everyone...she started taking pictures while her parents would hang out for few more time.
I was near her....after her parents were a little away....she called me that it's gonna be a little safe for us to be together for a while.
I was so soo fucking happy to see her for the very first time in real...I thought of nothing else and I came straight towards her to talk with her and she went somewhere more private where we both would be alone for a minute..
I was literally freezed and stumbled to even think and process it was real....she was smiling a lot and she was very nervous herself. I don't know what had happened to me but it was so difficult for me to comprehend and think of it...2 years we had been just waiting...I missed her so much everyday and that day we were all together for real even it was for a very little moments of time.
She let her arms open for me....and I hugged her very tight...I was still not able process all that like I was still in shock that it's real. I said "I love you...I love you soo much." and we both had our eyes filled with tears. She took her phone out and with her soft voice she said "baby... let's take some pictures" and we took some picyures there. She so very happy and nervous I could feel her shaking . And I was like finally in a physical world...it was like I was lost somewhere in another world while it all happened. I was too nervous and too much in shock to process all of these things happening for real.
And after that....her parents returned back from the place they were seeing and called her...and she went with them.
This was the happiest moment of my life.
It felt like I was high and in another world when I hugged her...
And it felt soo soo good to be with her even for that brief moment of tkme...to be with her to get a real touch of her to see her in real life. I didn't want to let her away from that hug.
In the remaining days....her parents would make sudden changes in the plans to visit those places and we could not see other properly in those days.
Two days before she'd leave for home...I had bought a box of couple ring and pair of earrings for her to give it at the time before her flight for home.
She had a flight at 1pm...and I tried to reach there in time but at that day due to heavy rain and traffic jam...I couldn't reach there in time and I couldn't see a glimpse of her and I felt very sad about it. I wanted to give that ring as a memory...as something that she could always keep with herself as a memory of mine.
Well... I'm keeping for the next time we visit and I pray it'll be very soon.
Although I feel a little bad about that last day... I'm very happy about the time I saw her. I saw her for real...I could see her beautiful smile and I heard her sweet voice and it felt very good and heavenly seeing her happy.
I'm so grateful that this day happenend...and I'll have a memory of this day forever in my head.
