Storage unit

2024.05.14 00:35 Such-Page-5563 Storage unit

I need emergency assistance with my Storage payment. I have my stuff stored in a friend of mine's garage. I lost my parents house in 2021 and the reason why because me taking over the house payment was unexpected I lost my mother and father in 2019 my mother was sick so we was prepared for her death but not my father he was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and passed away March 2019 and then my mother followed July 2019 I was a caregiver for my mother for two years so I took a huge pay cut stay home but at that didn't matter to me I wouldn't change that for anything but when my father passed away I had to take over things that I wasn't prepared for and still was taking care of my mother I tried my best to keep up with the house but it fell through so I lost the house September 2021. Due to the setback of me being home with my mother it was hard for me to get back on track especially losing my parents so close together. So what I'm getting at is in September of 2021 when I lost the home I had a friend of mine let me store my personal belongings and lots of my parents' personal belongings in his shed because I could not afford to get a storage unit I still can't afford it. In April he came to me with some unexpected news but he wasn't prepared for either his daughter was going through a divorce and she needed to store her stuff in the shed so I had to get my stuff out with that being said I had to find a storage unit still expensive for me but I can't afford to lose my stuff and I had to leave a lot of stuff behind because I couldn't fit it in the storage unit. The reason why I'm behind on my storage unit in February there was money stolen out of my bank with some online transactions in the amount of $2,000 dollars so therefore identity theft I canceled my card and I'm waiting on my new card to arrive and I knew what day it was coming because I had it expedited so on the day that the card arrived I was out running some errands I get home to check the mail and there's no card so I quickly get on my phone call the bank and ask them where my card is and they said what do you mean it's been activated and there's been two $500 withdrawals and $50 varo charge. I was so Furious and confused on what in the hell is going. So the bank tells me all I need to do fill out some paperwork and the investigation that could take up to 90 days so I do all that about a week later I called check on the status of the situation and I now have to go down and make a police report so I did that and I still have not received my money, that's why my storage unit is behind I have a lien on my storage unit I kept in contact with them about this and they were okay with it and now they're saying that there's nothing they can do so at the end of June if I do it will be going up for auction sometime in July and I do not want to lose what I have left it would be greatly appreciated if someone can find it in their heart to help me there's a lot of memories in that storage unit. I'll show police report you can even call the police station I have the police officer's name who I made the report and if anyone's willing to help me the payments could directly go to the storage unit so you know it's going for a good cause. Thank you in advance have a blessed day!

2024.05.13 22:28 superectojazzmage Favorite unsolved mysteries in media?

I really adore mystery in fiction and in general, so let's talk about the mysterious and unexplained elements in media that keep people puzzling and asking questions long after release.
My example is from two of my favorite Stephen King stories, From A Buick-8 and The Colorado Kid, both of which tackle similar themes of unsolved mysteries.
Colorado Kid is about two editors and an intern at a local newspaper on an island off the coast of Maine discussing an unsolved death on the island in the 80s. The victim, nicknamed the Colorado Kid for an out-of-state tax stamp found among his personal effects, is discovered slumped next to a trash can in an alley dead of asphyxiation from a large chunk of steak in his throat but no obvious signs of foul play besides. Countless clues and details are uncovered over the years of investigation, but each one just raises more questions (he has fish dinner - not steak - in his stomach, a single Russian coin in his pocket, etc.). By the end of the story, the only thing answered for sure is his identity; a commercial artist from Colorado with a perfectly average life who inexplicably disappeared after leaving work one day despite no indications he had any reason to. The closest guess anyone is able to make is that he chartered a jet and flew to Maine for God knows what reason and was murdered there, with the tax stamp being a clue to his origins he grabbed so he could be identified if he died (which he did). You're just left to chew on the mystery and play detective as to how it all goes together.
From A Buick-8 involves a rural police barracks who tell the son of one their own deceased members about the Buick 8, a vintage blue 1953 Buick Roadmaster that's been locked up in the precinct's storage shed since 1979 after it was left at a gas station by a driver who walked behind the station and promptly disappeared, never to be found (hinted to maybe be a Low Man, the henchmen for the Crimson King from The Dark Tower; this does not answer nearly as many questions as you'd think). The car is not a car at all, but some kind of bizarre living organism that seems to have made itself look like a car; the steering wheel, dashboard instruments, engine, and ignition wires are all props, and the car itself heals from damage done to it. It very occasionally "gives birth" to some kind of horrifying alien monsters that always die shortly after, seemingly because they can't survive in our atmosphere. And even more occasionally, it apparently eats people, as two people who went into it mysteriously disappeared. The closest thing to an answer about what the Buick is comes at the end when the cops discover that it can open a portal to another realm (presumably where the monsters are from and where the people eaten by the car go), but that's it. It's just this thing that exists without explanation and thus sits in the shed behind the barracks, people trying their best to ignore it after getting used to it's presence and finding no answers about it.
Both are really eerie and cool little stories that I dig a lot.

2024.05.13 21:51 ultramatums Backyard bike shed recommendations for 4-5 bikes?

This feels like the most “n+1” bike subreddit so I figured this is the best place to ask.
I’m looking for a secure, outdoor bike storage solution that I can put in a backyard. Ideally it can fit at least 4 bikes, and limited to max 6 to prevent me from turning into too much a hoarder. I ride large bikes.
It doesn’t have to be anything too crazy, my 2 nice bikes will still go inside and the shed will be reserved for beaters/spares/cheapos.

2024.05.13 21:38 AGuyintheback Joining two existing systems together

I have two systems I would like to connect together. First system (8 zones) driven by a pump drawing from a lake. It was installed back in 2001. Toro controller wired in parallel with a home automation system so it could run either from the Toro or the automation system. In 2020, the pump was moved closer to the lake, and an additional 5 zones installed. The main water supply from the pump connects to both systems, and the relay controlling the pump is located at the new location (a storage shed). The automation system has subpanels inside the house (8 zones) and in the shed (5 zones). The Toro is no longer used and the automation system now controls everything.
Problem is the house is being sold, and prospective owners might be turned off by the automation system. I would like to convert the (two) systems back to stand-alone use, either by a single controller that controls all 13 zones, or two controllers that can communicate with each other (i.e. the controller in the house tells the remote controller when to turn on the pump). It's a little under 400 ft between the two locations, and there are 2 spare Cat5E cables running between the two locations. There is also a fiber optic cable connection between the two locations, so WiFi is available.

2024.05.13 17:36 Pitiful-Loquat-7467 can i sue my 17 year old friend for stealing my cheap phone

I'll try to keep the story as short as possible although it is long.
My friend, Becky, and her bf Ray (fake names) were at the library and they took my phone as a joke. He put my phone down his pants and farted on it (seriously) and I was upset so I took his phone and went to the bathroom. Long story short she thought I did something bad while I had his phone (I really didn't) she got mad and ran upstairs to where he was. I followed shortly after washing my hands and asked if he still had my phone. He said no, Becky took it. I said oh and went to her and asked for my phone back. She said I had to get it back from blood (fight her) and told me to get away or she would fight me. I followed anyway because I wasn't leaving without my phone. she called her mom to come and then she said she didn't take my phone. (her logic was since I was "lying" she'd lie too) she said I could ask Ray. Ray was silent but then she said " YOU WILL BE SINGLE" (threat) so of course he lied. She went to the bathroom and I followed and her bf was waiting outside. she stayed in the stall until her mom was outside and they both continued to lie to mom. since her mom was my ride especially now since I didn't have my phone, I sat in the car and she threatened to drag me out if I didn't get out. She screamed in my face multiple times and threatened to hit me and said my phone was still upstairs. I knew I shouldn't have believed her but a part of me was hoping she put it back or something. When I went up there they zoomed off and I went to findmyphone on Google. I saw it was 10 minutes away (they were driving) and I made the phone ring and it shortly stopped. she must have powered it off because the phone was on 50 percent. I was hoping once they figured out Becky and Ray were lying they'd turn around and give it back but nope they didn't. I waited 2 hours until the library closed.
I texted her the next day and told her I knew she had stolen it and I filed a police report. Since her mother has a paralegal degree she is sure she'd win the case. She changed the story to, she never took it to she did take it but exchanged it while we were in the bathroom (there's no cameras in the bathroom)
What I'm even more upset about is that the only witness (her bf) is taking her side now and her mother will protect her. She is trying to file a restraining order against me and trying to ruin my life by spilling my secrets to my friends.
Do you think it's possible to sue or at least put this on her record? I know the phone was cheap it was because my last one got broken so I got a temporary one until I got a job but it had my storage card in it, a sim card, photos, and memories too. I NEED that phone or at least the storage card. It has the last pics and videos of some of the people I miss on it.

2024.05.13 15:03 maybeillcatchfire22 Cargo security - wooden shed at home

Hi everyone
Was wondering about bike security. Currently have a beater mountain bike in my wooden shed, with minimal security. I am looking to beef this up when I get a cargo.
I have a wooden shed that has a wooden floor, upon a gravel and plastic grid base - basically I cannot put a concrete anchor inside the shed.
I was thinking that I could install a small concrete foundation outside the shed, with anchor point and run a heavy duty chain into the shed via a drilled hole (can look at weather proofing) then secure via D lock to chain.
Would this work in reality? It seems like the disadvantage is the anchor and chain would be available outside the shed to try to shear through? But better than just anchoring something to a wooden floor.
Don't really have space for indoor storage or buying a metal / secure shed for the bike.

2024.05.13 14:29 Spacemole Nas advice , >Gbe, Link Aggregation

I need some networking help. I had a Synology DS916+ (8GB), with 4 x 8 TB ironwolves in raid 5 (SHR). It died (won’t power on, power cable seems fine), and now I need a new NAS. I am also looking to optimise my small network to increase the usability of the NAS. I use two laptops ( Mac and Windows) and try to keep all my files on the NAS rather than on the devices. I fly drones and often have to transfer a few hundred gigabytes on and off the NAS for storage or editing videos. I have generally been disappointed with the transfer speeds of the old unit over Gbe.
I created a scuffed diagram of my network. I would love to make my own NAS and get homeassistant off the old laptop that runs it, but my apartment is small. I have been looking at the DS923+, DS1522+ and DS1621+. The latter has an extra bay, and two extra GbE ports.
Is upgrading any of these things going to help me with transfer speeds for my use cases: (Transferring large files, editing from the NAS, Steam remote play)
1 - Either NAS being much faster due to the processor. 2 - Using link aggregation on the NAS, with a new compatible Gbe switch (and the benefits of 2 vs. 4 Gbe ports). 3 - Using link aggregation on my laptops via 2x ethernet connections to the switch, with an extra Gbe dongle. 3 - Buying a 2.5Gbe switch, (with link aggregation?). 4 - Buying a 2.5Gbe USB C dongle ( and also potentially using link aggrigation). 5 - Buying the (expensive) 10Gbe module for either DiskStation. 6 - Adding different name drives to these more modern NAS.
I am willing to use a number of these solutions, such as buying a 2.5 switch and dongle, running 4xGbe link aggregation on the NAS, and using 2 cables from my laptop on a new switch.
I am unsure how effective any of this will be. If anyone can shed some light on this stuff, or give advice on these NAS, I would appreciate it.

2024.05.13 14:16 Digiroads6893 Unveiling the Ingredients: Decoding Quality in Dehydrated Dog Food

Introduction:
In the ever-growing landscape of pet care products, one segment that has gained significant attention is dehydrated dog food. As pet owners become increasingly conscious of what they feed their furry companions, the demand for high-quality, nutritious options has surged. In this blog post, we'll delve into the world of dehydrated dog food, exploring its ingredients and shedding light on what makes it a preferred choice for many pet parents.
Understanding the Dehydrated Dog Food Market:
The dehydrated dog food market has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years, driven by factors such as increasing awareness about pet nutrition, rising disposable incomes, and a shift towards natural and minimally processed foods. Unlike traditional kibble or canned dog food, dehydrated options offer a unique proposition by preserving nutrients through a gentle dehydration process.
Ingredients Matter:
Quality dehydrated dog food stands out for its premium ingredients, carefully selected to provide optimal nutrition for canine companions. Let's take a closer look at some key ingredients commonly found in top-tier dehydrated dog food products:
  1. High-Quality Proteins: Proteins serve as the building blocks for a dog's muscles, organs, and immune system. Look for dehydrated dog foods that feature real, high-quality sources of protein such as chicken, turkey, beef, or fish. These proteins should be free from fillers, by-products, and artificial additives.
  2. Nutrient-Rich Fruits and Vegetables: Just like humans, dogs benefit from a diverse array of fruits and vegetables in their diet. Dehydrated dog foods often include ingredients like sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, blueberries, and spinach, which provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
  3. Healthy Fats: Dogs require a balanced intake of fats for energy, skin and coat health, and overall well-being. Look for dehydrated dog foods that incorporate sources of healthy fats such as salmon oil, flaxseed, or coconut oil. These fats should be rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which support skin and coat health, joint function, and cognitive function.
  4. Natural Preservatives: To maintain freshness without the need for artificial preservatives, quality dehydrated dog food market often utilize natural preservatives such as mixed tocopherols (a source of vitamin E) or rosemary extract. These ingredients help extend shelf life while ensuring the product remains wholesome and nutritious.
  5. Probiotics and Prebiotics: Gut health plays a crucial role in a dog's overall health and immunity. Some premium dehydrated dog foods may contain probiotics and prebiotics, which promote a healthy balance of gut bacteria and aid in digestion and nutrient absorption.
Benefits of Dehydrated Dog Food:
Choosing dehydrated dog food offers several benefits for both pets and their owners:
Conclusion:
As the demand for premium pet nutrition continues to rise, understanding the ingredients that go into quality dehydrated dog food market is paramount for pet owners seeking the best for their canine companions. By prioritizing real, nutrient-rich ingredients and avoiding fillers and artificial additives, pet parents can provide their dogs with a diet that promotes health, vitality, and longevity.
In a market flooded with options, discerning pet owners can make informed choices that prioritize their dog's well-being, ensuring that every meal is a nourishing and enjoyable experience.

2024.05.13 07:17 Sorry_Attorney_3703 Seeking Advice: Suspicious Circumstances Surrounding Missing Cat

Hello Reddit community, TIA if you read all the way through this is a long one. Just trying to best explain what happened. I’m reaching out for advice on what I can do regarding the unusual circumstances of the situation. Here’s a rundown of the events: -I have the tractive collar on my cat because she’s an indoooutdoor cat and when I was living in California she got stuck in a storage shed for a few days. -It has a power saving mode when it’s connected to WiFi and I realized once it was too late that, that means the location it shows isn’t very accurate but you can use blue tooth or live tracking to get an accurate location neither of which were working. -I was out of town for work then I went home (different state) to take my sister to her Chemo appointment -Ended up being gone for ten days. Which I’ve done before and everything has been fine but Monday evening my roommate texted me that she hadn’t seen my cat yet that day so I looked at the location and it was saying at home so I figured she was just nearby and would be back later. -Tuesday came and still no sign so I got a flight home Wednesday morning. - Once I got home I disabled WiFi power saving on the tracker, which pinpointed my cat’s location a few houses down. - I ran down and was looking for her but felt weird looking around on someone’s property so I knocked and then rang the doorbell but, my neighbor didn’t answer the door so I went to go write a note explaining why I was there and left my name and phone number. -When I came back to drop it off I noticed the front blinds had been closed. Which is fine I can understand someone not wanting to talk to a stranger. - I went out that evening around 7 pm with my headlamp to walk around the neighborhood and call for her and see if I could see any eyes reflected. -When I walked down the street my neighbor was washing his truck in the front yard not the driveway where it was parked earlier -So I waved and introduced my self and explained what was going on, he was nervous maybe just caught off guard? Stumbling a bit with his words but wouldn’t look at me and just said he hadn’t seen her but that I could look around - He was standing in front of the truck and when I looked to my right, I saw my cat’s collar right next to the driver’s side rear tire, wet and without the tracker attached and clasped back together indicating it was manually removed (the tracker threads through the collar so there’s no way it could’ve slid off if it had just gotten snagged on something and fell off of her. I know I would’ve seen it the first time I was there because the front yard is zerascaping, and it stood out against the rocks because it’s bright orange and reflective. I held it up in shock to see it and I’m still kicking myself for not questioning him more about it right then but I’m not a confrontational person especially with a man that’s a stranger. - I said something along the lines of like oh yeah this is hers and held it up and looked at him but like I said he was dismissive and said he hadn’t seen her. -I walked away trying to collect my thoughts and realized that if I could connect to the tracker I could turn the light on and see if it was nearby. When I walked back over he had moved his truck back to the driveway to vacuum it. - When the tracker connected, I could see the light in the yard and took a picture because now I was thinking something’s going on? It would’ve been under the truck which is why I didn’t see it the first time. - I went home and told my roommate what I had just found and was like will you hype me up so I can go talk to him about this. She said his sister lived close by and suggested we talk to her to see if he had mentioned anything. I’m sure most women would agree it’s easiesafer to talk to another woman instead. She called him and he told her the same story and that he had just returned from a concert that day which was on Monday the day she went missing. At this time it was Wednesday evening but she closed the door and walked away so I couldn’t hear the convo. -I screen shotted the tracking showing it at his house and then not moving. As well as the picture of the tracker in his yard, and both of them together soaking wet.
I’ve filed a police report, and the officer acknowledged the odd circumstances, he went to his house but he didn’t answer the door he said he would try to call him but I haven’t heard any updates. Shortly after the officer left (I can see his driveway from my window) and his truck was gone but when I drove by he had backed in and parked at an angle so no one could pull in to his driveway, we live on a busy street and there’s no shoulder. I’m thinking about first leaving a note expressing my desperation for answers or closure, or even just a I found the collar or what ever emphasizing that I’m not seeking to blame or pursue legal action but if I still don’t get a response is this enough to?

2024.05.13 05:20 homestead_sensible Solar System Is Online. Not Connected To House Yet, Just The Solar Shed, In Off-Grid Mode. Will Connect House In AC Coupled Mode In 2 Weeks.

2500 watts of panels right now, charging 300AH of 48v FLA batteries. we still need to trench from the house to the shed, and connect 4awg cable 50ft to and 50ft from shed to house. This will bring grid power to the inverter, to be used as a back up when load is high, or batteries are drained. it's one-way from the grid, no back-selling.
once we save up a bit, we will buy 18 new panels for an additional 6,300 watts. our invertecontroller has twin MPPT inputs.
after the panel expansion, we will upgrade to LiFePO4 Trophy Batteries. with LiFePO4, we can get a true, full use of 300AH capacity. that would effectively double our storage, compared to our 300AH FLA.
it's slow going and it is a small setup right now, but it's a start. it's is expandable up to 12,000Kw, so it's just a matter of saving up, and installing it as we can.
at least we have something now. improvements will come.

Cornsnake injured himself? Help!
First of all, I apologize for the awful quality photos, they're the best I can get for now. I just recently checked up on my boy Miles and noticed this mark on his forehead! I've had him for three years and have never seen anything like this before, so I'm not sure what to do and I'm freaking out a little bit about it. I tend to be a very anxious snake mom, so I checked a bunch of forums and Youtube videos, thinking immediately of the worst. I think he is either rubbing himself raw trying to get rid of stuck shed on his head or he's scraping against the lid of the tank at night when I don't notice (for the record, I hate the tank for a variety of reasons and have been meaning to replace it for a while, including the wire mesh cover).
I immediately took him out when I noticed to inspect closer. The wound doesn't look super fresh but it's definitely still healing. I can't see any shed around his nose or face, but I'm worried it may be so packed on I can't even tell at this point. I don't know how it could have even gotten that far though, as I have each of his fully in tact sheds and none of them are missing any pieces. I read that I should keep the wound dry so it doesn't get infected and put some neosporin or vaseline on, but I couldn't find the right neosporin so tomorrow I plan to buy some actual reptile healing ointment from my local pet store. I thought since it may be stuck shed that I should try and give him opportunity to have it soak off if that is the case, despite contrary advise to keeping the wound dry, so I sprayed his tank, but then he sneezed a few times. I've heard him sneeze maybe once or twice the entire time I've had him, but this really freaked me out. He isn't and hasn't been showing any other signs of breathing problems or symptoms of an RI like mucus or stargazing, however, and it's been about an hour since it happened, so I'm like 80% sure that's not the case and I'm just working myself up.
As of now I've taken everything out of his tank that is even remotely sharp and I may move him to separate "hospital" housing while he heals in a plastic storage bin with paper towels as bedding and one hide. Has anyone experienced or seen this before? Should I take him to a vet somewhere? Is he going to be okay!!! Please let me know, I am open to all and any feedback!

2024.05.13 02:52 D0WNGR4D3 Beast World #61: An End Is Just a New Beginning

First Issue!
The night before Michael's departure was one of various mixed emotions, that melded into a concoction of both cheer and anxiousness. The human and his tribe of tuskir would share food as they aided their newest member in his preparations.
Woh and Oinna worked carefully together to prepare several vials of poison, diluted with water, as well as a few herbal medicines.
Zurra and Azhul would work the forge, daughter and mother stoking the fires of their smithy's hearth to finish up a steel knuckle duster that the older woman had been preparing to forge from before. After replacing the metal rods on his leather bracers with steel and studding the leather for extra reinforcement, the two put forward their creations for Michael to dawn, to which he was greatful.
Urla and Runhar would share more of what they know about the Rock Backs or what to expect of their leader, but the discussions from before already covered most of that information.
After all that could be done had been finished, a fresh leather backpack of supplies was provided to the human with a few extra tools, besides his own belongings, and then all that remained to do was for them to steel themselves.
Maybe not everyone realized the implications of this separating venture, but one knot that could build in their throats would be at the realization that their newest tribe member was about to leave and depending on how things would fare... he might come back unharmed and with stories plentiful in detail of what happened, he might not return to them at all or, at worst... he'd be befallen by a fate they'd not know of.
A final meal together was being held, most of the people of the tribe awake, decided to remain as such and hold out this white night with Michael, waiting with a discomfort that was palpable in the air. As the time of reckoning was slowly coming upon them, the relaxed attitudes of all involved began to stifle and die down.
Vodra and Nushii were situated closest by him, the latter curled up in a half asleep ball next to Michael, rather than sitting. Runhar, Ghura and Azhul, sat further to his sides, their sitting positions, curving around the fire they all encircled, with Oinna, Zurra and Urla being on the other side of the slowly dying flame. And of course, Woh, unlikely to leave herself out from this gathered vigil, was sat atop Michael's hair, camouflaged partially by his thickened curly locks. Nobody knew what to say, there was nothing easy to bring up, but doubt and uneasiness in one's heart might lead them to speak their mind, out of a compassionate worry.
Zurra was the one bearing a heavy seed of doubt and fear in her breast. As she held tightly onto a metal mug full of steaming broth, she took a brief sip of it as her gaze lifted to look at the grouping around the fire. "We certain this be the correct choice? We coulda 'bandon de Hay-yen group, the whol' allyin' with 'em plan... it is too risky to... well, to do this!" The elderly sow spoke, her voice not showing her usual furious anger derived from passion, but instead upset, born of frustration, fear and uncertainty.
"It might be, but I want to do it. I've been thinking why am I doing this to basically save a group of people with whom we were basically at war a month ago. Their upbringing by their leading shaman and elders is not an excuse for their actions, but wouldn't it be nice to get them a chance? A chance that they are also willing to take, even if they feel skeptical about our intentions and us about their?" Michael looked at Nushii who slept and then exchanged a glance with Vodra who gave a slow nod and blink back.
"Bah! These two's exceptions an' ya kno' that." Zurra said as she then sat her mug down on a crate forcefully, spilling a bit of the contents.
"There ain' no point in arguin'. The deal was struck an' backin' out now will jus' give us headaches with the Rock Backs." Gharna said with a snort which vocalized better than any words that she wasn't thrilled either about this.
"Aye, ma'. Ya kno' already when he makes up 'is mind ta do somethin' he sticks to it worse than blood stains on cloth. Heh... same type-a stubborness that got 'im stuck fer hours keepin' yer forge stoked." Azhul added with a chuckle as she looked at her mother than at Michael, who smiled and laughed with a tired tone.
"Even if we don' like it, we have already all agreed to help make this happen. Otherwise I don' think we'd have put the efforts we did towards preparin' Michael fer da trip." Runhar interjected as well as he sipped his own broth from a bowl.
As the consensus from before had been reaffirmed verbally, the group had fallen quiet once more, in a silence that showed the stewing emotions that bubbled below it. Michael felt it too, he knew what these situations were like from having to deal with them with his own family.
"Well, while I'm gone, hopefully not long, I thought it would be good to get some things done, even if not everything gets finished, I'm thinking that we should keep to a... hm... how to word this? A time line?" The human said uncertain on how to properly put his thoughts in words. Certainly would seem unlike him to struggle with this, but only when his guard was down. In this moment there was no immediate threat, so he was as true to the real him as he could be.
"Oh? Afraid things will stagnate while you are gone due to some of us being uncertain of the situation? Although I certainly appreciate yer concern, none shall remain still while I am here. What have you been thinking of?" Urla asked from her seated position, her inquisitive questioning being as cold as her usual tone.
"Well. I believe there's two things that are need to get done. Integrating the remaining Hay-yen and starting up with trading goods. We still have hos-... injured refugees that are being treated, due to their... shakey condition, right? We need to see that they can adapt to their situation like Nushii and Vodra did. Maintain aid and contact with the Hay-yen settlement, I think this would be best done by working together on things you and they need, maybe repairs and expanding a bit." Michael would say certain of his thoughts on the matter.
"I wasn't going to wait for you to ask, but we'll try to help with that as well. I believe it will be... emboldening to see us work along Tuskir for the others." Vodra said while looking at Nushii. Soon after she'd meet Michael's gaze, with a glint of important purpose in them. "And hence we know not what happened with the old shaman, we could also focus on geting a better grasp on that, as well, since we've been discussing about it."
Michael nodded in agreement, his expression showing that he was pleased with Vodra's additions to his points.
Urla would nod as she listened before clearing her throat. "I see the point. We'll be doing our best here, so make sure you return to us in one piece. That is an order from me to you, as your den mother, Michael." The old sow spoke with utmost seriousness in her tone.
"Understood, Elder Urla." He replied with a cheeky tone, a faint smirk creeping up on his lips.
Soon after the human's reply, the slow steps of Yenna approaching could be herd in the crisp silence of the night. The young Tuskir moved with stuttered and tired steps as he came about closer, holding Michael's phone in one hand and a carving of wood in the other.
"Got your fill of references?" Michael asked with a soft smile as Yenna handed him his phone, tucking it into his leather backpack.
"Aye, but tis ain't based on 'em... keepin' those in me workshop. Drew a few sketches in coal based on 'em, too." The young tuskir said with a tired huff. He then held up the tiny wooden statue that depicted an elderly scars covered tuskir, with a billowing cloak and two handaxes.
Michael looked at it as his heart knotted with a renewed sorrowful melancholy. He held up his hand as his expression asked wordlessly if he could hold it to which Yenna handed it. The human looked at it closely. The carved tuskir struck a pose of on guard and ready to attack, the expression although hard to read for Michael, the eyes were shown with a guardian's battle focus carved into them.
"It looks just like the old man... you have an amazing hand Yenna." Michael said while looking the statue of Spek from all angles possible. Unknown if by accident or if by unconcious choice, Michael ran his digits under the statue's base, feeling it to have been carved up.
Turning it upside down he glanced at carved letters in the Tuskir's written tongue, which to him looked akin to unreadable scratches. Before he could even ask about their meaning Yenna spoke, almost solemnly.
"Tough Hide Spek, The Forever Guardian." The young tuskir said as he sniffled while seating himself near Michael.
"Looks like a good piece, brother." Gharna said from the side with a soft proudness to her voice.
"Indeed. Where are you thinking of putting it?" Michael confirmed his own feelings of admiration towards the small sculpture.
"Thought ya could hold onto it, a reminder o' us fer while yer gone. I was useless in that fight, hidin' with the younger piglets an' guardin' 'em... actin' as if it got to it I could protect them... while you all were layin' yer lives down, fightin'. This is the only thing I'm good at... you were close to 'im so I thought it would be only natural that he look over ya for us." Yenna said with a pain of his own in his words as he verbally flagellated himself over his helplessness.
"Yenna. Don't be harsh on yourself, everyone's got their talents. Yours will be most important." Michael then stood up in a very official manner and he put a hand on the young tuskir's shoulder. "You'll actually make yourself invaluable. You'll be pretty much carving all the handles for the steel peelers we will be selling. And to make the sales go better I recommend making them with engraved designs in the wood or even carving random names into them, since some people love buying stuff like that."
At that point Yenna looked back at Michael, the previous glint of emotionally charged energy dissapearing from his gaze while the unhearable echo of a mute glass crack seemed to make the young tuskir wince. "I'll be what?!"
"Yes." Michael said with a small proud smile as he nodded and patted Yenna on the back.
Gharna couldn't help herself, so she let out snorts, chuckles and short squeals as she giggled. "W-well hah! Ahem... pft... blood brother, you always did say you liked to carve things daintier than plain handaxes..." she added in a teasing tone.
"By the Hunt Father, that sucks for ya Yen-yen." Azhul said trying and succeeding a bit better at masking her chuckles. Still, the large tuskir woman's giggles would be interrupted by a slap on her furred nape from her own mother who seemed to hear her. "AGH! What was that fer?!"
"Who do ya fink is gon' be makin' the blades?" The older buff sow asked while looking at her daughter with mild dissapointment.
Azhul took half a minute longer than she should have to spit out an answer. "Us?" She said while Zurra stared at her with mild dissapointment, giving a single solemn confirming nod. "Oh-... ohhh.... Uughhhhhh... us..." she said with a premptively exhausted tone, as she came to this realization, with a deflating snort and groan while facepalming.
Azhul's reaction managed to rip chuckles and hearty laughs from most of those around, Michael laughing hard enough to nearly keel over from it. As the human took a moment to calm down, the corner of his eye would be greeted by the first wisps of light presenting themselves on the horizon. The moment he saw them, his jovial laugh seemed to drop, his eyes looking at the slowly crawling rays of light as if they were telling him something.
"Well... it seems like my time has expired. I'll... uhm... check my shack once over and make sure I didn't forget anything." The human said as he took a glance into his leathet backpack and then slung it over his shoulders.
"Ah-... alright. We'll start cleaning up here and when we're all done, we'll see you at the gate." Runhar said as he finished his broth, his tone betraying his own insecurities despite supporting this final plan.
Michael nodded back to the captain before taking a few moments to grasp a half asleep Woh and untangle her from the curls at the top of his head. Although he tried not to wake her, the amphoran woke up blinking lazily one eye at a time before her gaze focused on Michael's face.
"Aaagh~... is the borin' talking done, yet?" She asked while stretching relaxed inbetween Michael's digits, then groaning and going limp much like a sibling would when carried by the older one.
"Yeah. And I'm also preparing to leave. Sun's about to come up so I need to get to the Rock Backs." The human replied with a chuckle at the display before leaning down to set Woh on the seat he previously occupied.
The little amphibian humanoid held onto his digits as if to protest the release. "You promise yer comin' back, ye? I've got years o' hugs and cuddle naps I gotta make up for and I'm needin' ya for that." She said while slowly letting go and curling up on the seat, her gullet inflating as she croaked with exhaustion.
"Mhm. Don't worry. I'll come back and that's a promise I intend to keep." Michael said giving Woh a few scritches onto her back, at which the amphoran let a few low and quick croaks akin to a cat's pur.
"Good... an-... don't take too long... otherwise I'm latchin' myself to your face and never letting go, kero..." Woh said while struggling to stay awake, her conciousness fading as she'd doze off.
Michael smile as he laughed silently responding with a nod before making his way to the shack he called a home for the past while. Inside the ex-storage hut, he'd give the place one final cursory glance, making sure to pack a few clothes he nearly forgot thrown about. Once that was done with, as he was about to turn and exit, the door would creak behind him.
Vodra, together with a half awake Nushii, waltzed in slowly. Michael, unsurprised, would turn and smile as he rubbed one of his eyes. "Eh? Going to sleep already? And here I thought you'd see me off at the gate."
"Nushii's about to keel over asleep again, so I thought it'd be good if she was at least in our beds. I for one am not a fan of things such as seeing someone off in a group." Vodra said while leaning against a creaky wooden wall.
Nushii would stumble a bit before flopping herself onto Michael, who, despite being startled, manages to hold himself and the half asleep Hay-yen up. "Why ya need to go? Who are we going to listen to music with as we sleep, eh? Screw the others... my cousin is a doo doo head anyways..." she mumbled and groaned while nuzzling her head into Michael's hair while closing her half open tired eyes.
"Ay... don't say that. Sigh... I know what it is like to have toxic family members... there's no excuse for the things they did, but that doesn't mean some of them can change, ya know? She was really fired up back at camp. She at least seems to want to have you around. Give it a go and see how you feel about it, then decide if YOU want her in your life, ok?" Michael would say while scratching one of Nushii's ears with a hand and petting her shoulder with the other. "Also... please get off... I feel like my bacl or my knees will give out... p-please." He groaned.
Nushii would let out an affirmative yawned yap like noise, although hard to tell what exactly she was agreeing to. She'd push herself off of Michael and then flop onto one of the beds, sniffing about and crawling her way into a curled up position, smack in the middle of Michael's bed.
The human giggled at the sight as he began making his way to the door, where Vodra stood leaned against the wall. "I uhm... wanted to thank you... for everything." He'd say looking at Vodra as he whispered his words.
"Thank me? I should be the one doing that." Vodra replied in the same low tone.
"Well... I wanted to thank you for all the help you've given around, for trusting me, for co-operating in the beginning... for not slitting my throat in my sleep once you two were out of holding, heh." Michael said with a clearly jesting tone towards the end.
Vodra listened silently as her ears would lower, her head turning to look at him. "I see. I feel like I am the one that owes you... thinking about it... it sounds foolish, but getting taken hostage was the best thing that happened to me. Before that I found myself not really caring about much... I just wanted to do what I had to do and sleep... because at least when I was asleep I didn't feel miserable. Now... I'm actually relatively eager to see what I'm doing when I'm awake."
The Hay-yen woman took a moment to glance at Nushii, who had settled in and appeared to be asleep, as she then gazed back at the human and with a rather stiff and awkward motion she's lean forward her massive and hunched frame, pressing her forehead against the side of his face and her snout into his neck. "When we talked about The Devourer... before that... I never even considered if it was not true or fake or at least... not my truth... not what I wanted to believe in. I just accepted it and resigned myself to the fate I was preached to end up with... if not for you... I'd still see each day as a bleak and empty moment of a pointless existence." Vodra said as small whines escaped at times between her words, a wetness taking to her eyes, that Michael felt against the side of his face.
The human would acknowledge Vodra's subtle burst of emotions by wrapping an around her neck, rubbing the top of her head between the ears. "I struggled with something like that to... the feeling of living for no reason only to know you'll die and that the end might be horrible. The faith of my specific tribe of people back home preached of their beliefs in a bleak and depressing manner, too. I hated it and 'cause of it... I still fear death now, but I've been getting better, you will too. No true Gods would want their mortal children to be miserable, instead they'd want them to learn to live satisfied and enlightened lives and... if there's no Gods that await us when it is all done... at least we know we lived in a good honest way, that we deemed fit and that made us happy."
Vodra didn't reply as she shook lightly against Michael, instead listening content. She'd pull her head back to look at the human, half his face covered in a mix of stray fur hairs mixed with a wetness produced by her tears. As if by instinct she'd give his mug a few licks to clean up the mess before pulling back. "Well... y-yeah. That's what I'm thankful for." She'd say as her usual collected self would start showing again. "Now, get going. Don't want those Rock Backs to go back on their deal 'cause you're arriving late. I need to catch a bit of rest anyways..." The Hay-yen would say as she went past Michael and then curled up on her own bed.
"Sleep well." The human replied as one last faint smile rested upon his lips as he exited the hut, the door creaking as he left.
His lonesome steps made the mix of grass and dirt bemeath his boots to crackle and slosh as he walked. Still, Michael didn't hear them as his mind thought of the situation that was awaiting him. Nobody he could trust would be by his side, he'd have to fake his true self for the purpose of apperances and maintaing their ruse.
'Heh... and here I thought I'd never be the type of person to pretend to be someone he isn't, for the sake of gaining something. Sigh... there's a first for everything, I guess. I said the same thing when I was younger about smoking, yet I fell into that myself. Eeeeh... I could go for a smoke... if I had any left.' Michael thought as he then bumped into something akin to a soft pillar.
Taking half a second to recover from his broken focus, Michael looked at the obstacle he bumped, quickly realizing it was actually Azhul. Confused, his mind quickly came to a possible conclusion to her sudden appearance near his old hut. "Oh- Sorry for taking a moment longer to linger! Was saying goodnight to Vodra and Nushii. Took a second longer than I thought."
"Heh. Aye, yer spot on an' no worries. I just wondered if yer reconsidering this whol' thing. Wouldn't blame ya if you just wanted us to fight it out wif the Rock Backs. It'd make things easier honestly." The large young sow said with a clearly jovial tone, albeit with a tinge of exhaustion to it.
"Heh. I couldn't ask that of you all. We barely made it through that ordeal and not without paying hefty prices... all of us." Michael said in a easy tone that tried and failed to hide a bitterness he still held in himself.
"... Michael. Spek wouldn't blame ya fer his death, truly... Ya kno' that, right?" Azhul said in a softened tone as her ears flopped slightly, a small huff leaving her flat snout.
"I know. I discussed this before. I just... it's not wether he blames me or not... it is wether I can stop blaming myself for it." Michael said with a strained face, his expression seeming to tense, his nostrils flared as he pressed his lips together tight, his eyes shining from the moon light with the glaze of tears that coated them, still and unshed. "So, I'll do my best to care for you all... like Spek would have."
Azhul looked Michael in the eye and after he took a moment to release the tension in his body, the large Tuskir woman, went on to wrap her arms around him and embrace him. He'd pull the human's head into her chest as a three fingered hand grasped his back, the other resting onto the crest of his head.
"Eh?! Azhul?! Didn't you say this is somethi-" Michael yelped muffled from the embrance, his previous sombre mood entirely changing, simply from how sudden the hug yhay enveloped him was.
"Aye. Somethin' ya don' just do with anyone, for tuskir that is. Ya hoomans do it for multiple reasons, ain't that about right? Consoling someone, sounds about right as one o' 'em." The built sow said while slightly tensing her arms around him, as if afraid he'll slip from her grasp. She rested her head on top of his, taking a second to sniff his hair lightly.
"Ah-... yeah... that'd be a reason. Heh... thank you... this... does help." Michael said as he wrapped his own arms around the tuskir woman, although unable to fully wrap them around her.
Azhul huffed repeatedly quick and short as her flat nose nuzzled into Michael's curls, before she looked up, staring at the starry sky while still holding him. "Oi. Ya make sure you come back in one piece, ya hear? And don' go dying, getting nabbed, fallin' fer some ditzy nobody's schemes or anythin' that'll keep ya from coming back to... to... to us, ye?"
"Heh. Don't worry. I'll make sure as soon as I'm done there, I'm coming back ASAP... ah... you'd not know what 'ASAP' means..." Michael said from the hug with an awkward laugh.
"Eh. Presume it's some word that's supposed to mean that you'll come quick or as soon as possible. So don' worry. I getcha." Azhul said as she seemed to take a few moments longer before letting go of Michael, the hand that wrapped to the human's back, now lagged behind a moment longer before letting go with a twitch in the tuskir woman's digits.
Michael realizing it wasn't the time to explain acronyms, nodded as she smiled with a relaxed exhale. "Yeah. Just about that. Well. Let's go then. Don' wanna make the others have second thoughts as well." He'd say while starting to walk in the direction of the gate. Still, Michael stopped immediately as he noticed Azhul was still turned back and unmoving. "Ah... you're not coming?"
The large sow seemed frozen for a few moments, her previous hand still semi outstretched forward, as if reaching for something in the air. After her digits twitched once more and a louder sligtly snotty sounding huff escaped her flat nose, Azhul stretched and let out a yawn. "Ah-... w-well... huff ...I already said my piece. Gonna go ahead an' get some sleep." She replied as she then began heading in the opposing direction at a slow pace.
"Oh, right. Rest well and take care! I'll miss ya and your mother! Hope we can forge more stuff together when I'm back!" Michael replied with his spirits properly uplifted.
Azhul staggered her steps at his words, as if from exhaustion. "... C-Can't wait. Come back already." She said as she waved with the back of her hand, still going her way to rest.
Michael nodded despite knowing she couldn't see him as he then headed to the gate. There more words, encouragements and goodbyes were exchanged by all members of the tribe to their departing pink member. After a last awkward moment of half muttered sentences, Runhar had the gates opened, Michael stepping out towards the darkened forest.
Before he got too far and the rest of his tribe closed up their little safe haven, the human turned to them and in the dim light of the few torches around, he said: "I'll miss you all! See you soon!"
From there his departure felt as quick as the wind, as his form faded into the black nothingness of the forest at night. All of a sudden, the time this stranger turned friend spent in this little settlement, in the middle of nowhere, felt a little shorter than before, but not any less important to all involved.

A hard hit of Nostalgia 😭
Cleaning out a storage shed at my parents (having some hazys) and coming across lots of child hood memories. And The Bobble head and Bat Days at The Colosseum are some of my favorite memories ever. FJF. Anyways Happy Motthers Day gang.
Side note: Always kept these two guys separate from other other bobbles cuz Mulder was my favorite of the big 3 and he needed his catcher. At the 10 these were my heros. Wouldn’t want it any other way.

2024.05.12 22:56 Sorry_Attorney_3703 Seeking Advice: Suspicious Circumstances Surrounding Missing Cat

Hello Reddit community,
TIA if you read all the way through this is a long one. Just trying to best explain what happened. I'm reaching out for advice on what I can do regarding the unusual circumstances of the situation. Here's a rundown of the events: -I have the tractive collar on my cat because she’s an indoooutdoor cat and when I was living in California she got stuck in a storage shed for a few days. - Once I got home I disabled WiFi power saving on the tracker, which pinpointed my cat's location a few houses down. - I ran down and was looking for her but felt weird looking around on someone’s property so I knocked and then rang the doorbell but, my neighbor didn't answer the door so I went to go write a note explaining why I was there and left my name and phone number. Stumbling a bit with his words but wouldn’t look at me and just said he hadn’t seen her but that I could look around - He was standing in front of the truck and when I looked to my right, I saw my cat's collar right next to the driver’s side rear tire, wet and without the tracker attached and clasped back together indicating it was manually removed (the tracker threads through the collar so there’s no way it could’ve slid off if it had just gotten snagged on something and fell off of her.
I've filed a police report, and the officer acknowledged the odd circumstances, he went to his house but he didn’t answer the door he said he would try to call him but I haven’t heard any updates. Shortly after the officer left (I can see his driveway from my window) and his truck was gone but when I drove by he had backed in and parked at an angle so no one could pull in to his driveway, we live on a busy street and there’s no shoulder. I'm thinking about leaving a note expressing my desperation for answers or closure, or even just a I found the collar or what ever emphasizing that I'm not seeking to blame or pursue legal action.
Please refrain from commenting if it’s not helpful I understand just dismissing this as trivial or suggesting moving on, or that she was eaten or killed, I’m thinking possibly sold or something because she looks like a bengal? But please understand the significance of her in my life, especially during my sister's battle with cancer. I’ve had her since she was two weeks old she’s two and a half now. She's been my constant source of comfort, and her absence has been deeply felt.
I'm open to any positive advice or recommendations on how to proceed. Thank you in advance for your understanding and help.
Side note she is microchipped, I called and they marked her as missing and sent out an alert to every pet facility in a 10 mile radius. I also posted on the lost pets Facebook page in my area, and made 30 flyers and put them up around my neighborhood, stores that would let me as well as veterinary offices and the humane society. I put bed outside, some food. I also walked around the neighborhood dropping pieces of a bandana she wore that I cut up trying to leave a scent trail for her to find her way home.

2024.05.12 19:52 Turbulent_Pitch613 Navigating difficult times

Hi All. Having some issues with my landlord and I'd like some input/advice. All comments are welcome.
I'm in my early 30s and have a family. I have two children from a previous relationship and three with my current wife. Wife is stay at home mother and I run a small business. It's not easy but I'm not complaining, we all make our own decisions and I just wanted to add this context.
We rent from an older couple, the lady owns the house and has for some time. Shes around 70, and raised her children here. She must have took out a second mortgage at some point because the house is not paid off.
We have been renting here for five years and it's been a good time. When we were looking at the place five years ago it seemed perfect for us. A larger place, with a yard, and no close neighbour's. Our landlords stated at that time they were hopefully looking for tenants that would stay for many years, as our landlord is sentimentally attached to the property and her children have no desire for it. This was perfect for us, since we want stability for our young family. At the time the rent she was asking was a big jump for us, but it was a fair market rate and we knew it would be worthwhile for us in order to have the space and privacy for our family.
For the last five years we had absolutely no problems. We pay our rent (post dated cheques given once a year), and landlord never bothered us. That being said, she has neglected some maintenance (metal roof needs attention, brickwork needs repairs, wooden windows and porch has been neglected and is now rotting, other similar issues) but none of this has particularly bothered us as it's her place to repair or neglect as she pleases.
About a month ago she stopped by and noticed some chalk on the front of the house (on the bricks) and got upset with my wife. She said we were making her house look bad, and added in that she could get a fortune for this place and that it's a sellers market right now. My wife relayed this to me when I got home and it was a bit disconcerting. We had never had a single issue between us and the LL and I was really surprised at this interaction.
Of course we cleaned the chalk off the brick immediately. Note, driveway is gravel, or chalk would be there. I also took the opportunity of making a list of things we have noticed that could use her attention in order to prevent further damage- tin roof lifting up, paint peeling off wood, evidence of water intrusion around plumbing stack, etc. All regular maintenance issues, most of which she is aware of, some of which she has been intending to fix since we moved in five years ago. There was about a dozen items on the list.
A week later she comes by again, I was working from home that day and decided to go speak with her about the chalk and find out if that was the only thing bothering her and let her know it was an innocent mistake.
I go outside and bring it up with her. I told her she upset my wife speaking to her how she did. I let her know we had no idea using chalk would be a big deal, but that now we know how she feels about it and will simply not buy any more chalk. Problem solved. She went on for a bit about the chalk incident, I let her get it out.
After she had exhausted the chalk complaints I asked her if she had any other grievances or issues she'd like to bring up. I had a pen and paper ready to make note of anything that may be a concern to her. She pointed out paint peeling off a century old window and told us she knows we did that (we didn't, wooden windows require regular maintenance to prevent this). I kindly told her we did nothing to damage the windows paint.
After this I told her that her comments to my wife about the "house being worth a fortune now" were a little concerning and that I'd like to take the opportunity to formally notify her in writing of issues we have noticed to cover my ass. In event that she sells the house I do not want to be accountable for anything on the grounds of not having notified her. I took out my list of things we've noticed needing attention and she lost it. I mean she was very visibly upset and told me she "couldn't believe me" and that she thought she was "doing us a favour" letting us rent her house and that she thought "it's what God wanted her to do". I told her I thought it was a business arrangement and reiterated that I am not formally requesting any repairs, only wishing to notify her because I am required to by law.
I tried very hard to explain to her that I am required to and it's nothing personal, and we don't really care if she addresses everything or not. It was no use.
She went into a diatribe about her personal affairs, her mother died a year ago and there's disputes in her family about the estate. Mortgage rates are up and she's only clearing a hundred bucks a month of us now. Etc.
I am sympathetic, I am. The economy is not the best and we are all in this together, but I do have my own financial issues to stress about.
I did propose to agree to a rent increase above the ontario guidelines because I would rather find a mutually beneficial outcome to this than stand on my rights. I'd rather pay a bit more, than have her feel it's not worth it to be a landlord and sell the house.
Over the last two weeks she has been increasingly difficult. She is now trying to dictate what I'm allowed to store in the garage (work equipment is in there, machinery), she had told me the sunroom should only have two chairs on it and I'm not allowed to keep my toolbox or air compressor in there. She has had various contractors here over last two weeks to re grade the driveway and replace the bad sections of brick. She has used these contractors as excuses to try to make me do excessive work. Telling me I need to move everything out of the garage for the bricklayer (he told us otherwise, she is just being difficult). When driveway was being regraded she told me they would be doing a much larger section and I had to remove my vehicle and trailer for them (turned out to be incorrect, they were not doing entire driveway). The garage issue, I had to take a day off work to move things out of garage without a forklift (heavy equipment, two pieces each over 1000 lbs). Both of these things did not happen when she had told us they would, I took time off work and busted my ass for nought.
I am starting to feel she is trying to make things inconvenient for us untill we leave. This month she wants to do a full home inspection herself and will be requiring us to move various things in our house for this. The basement is not finished and very dank, we use it for storage only and there is quite of bit of shelving and whatnot I hope I do not have to move. She has told me she will be putting in the lease that we will not be allowed to have anything in sunroom except for two chairs, that garage is not to be used for storage, and I'm worried about her trying to dictate how I'm allowed to use the basement.
We have always signed a new lease each year, she preferred it that way and I saw no reason not too. But this year I am having concerns. I don't feel right about her imposing upon our living space like this. I pay for this place because it suits our needs and really don't want to have a bunch of new rules pushed on me.
I also don't want to push her to sell the house. I really don't know how to navigate this and I'm looking for advice here. I know I don't have to sign a new lease but I do want security for my family. My kids are doing good in school and happy. I've been through a separation before cause my older two kids to have to switch schools, friends etc and very much wish to not repeat this if possible.
Does anybody have any advice for how I should handle this? I feel I've ruined a great relationship with our TT by mentioning repairs to her and don't know how to fix it.
TIA.

How Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic Works

In today’s modern world, where screens are omnipresent and stress levels are high, many individuals suffer from disrupted sleep patterns. This not only affects their energy levels and mood but also has a profound impact on their metabolism and weight management.
Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic addresses these issues by targeting the root causes of sleep disturbances and providing comprehensive support for healthy sleep patterns, hormone balance, metabolism, and digestive health. The following parts of this Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic review will explain in detail how the supplement approaches weight loss support.
Blue Light Exposure and Lack of N-REM Sleep
The prevalence of electronic devices emitting blue light, such as smartphones, tablets, and computers, has become a significant contributor to sleep disturbances. Blue light exposure, especially in the evening hours, can disrupt the body’s natural circadian rhythm, leading to difficulty falling asleep and decreased quality of sleep.
Moreover, the lack of deep, restorative sleep stages, such as N-REM (non-rapid eye movement) sleep, further compounds the problem. During N-REM sleep, the body undergoes crucial processes for physical restoration and repair, including muscle growth, tissue repair, and immune system functioning. Without sufficient N-REM sleep, individuals may experience increased fatigue, impaired cognitive function, and heightened stress levels.
Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic addresses these issues by incorporating ingredients that help mitigate the negative effects of blue light exposure and promote the natural progression of sleep cycles. By supporting the body’s ability to enter and maintain deep sleep stages, the tonic helps ensure restorative rest essential for overall health and well-being.
Supports Healthy Sleep Patterns
Achieving and maintaining healthy sleep patterns is essential for overall health and vitality. Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic contains ingredients that support the body’s natural sleep-wake cycle, helping individuals fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
See for yourself why Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic is so popular >>>
One key aspect of promoting healthy sleep patterns is regulating the production of melatonin, often referred to as the “sleep hormone.” Melatonin plays a crucial role in signaling to the body when it’s time to sleep and when to wake up. By incorporating ingredients that enhance melatonin production or mimic its effects, Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic helps synchronize the body’s internal clock and promote a more consistent sleep schedule.
Additionally, the tonic contains adaptogenic herbs that help alleviate stress and anxiety, two common culprits behind sleep disturbances. By calming the mind and body, these herbs create an optimal environment for restful sleep, allowing individuals to experience deeper and more restorative rest.
Balances Hormones
Hormones play a significant role in regulating various physiological processes, including metabolism, appetite, and fat storage. Imbalances in hormone levels can disrupt these processes, leading to weight gain, insulin resistance, and other metabolic disorders.
Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic addresses hormonal imbalances by incorporating ingredients that support the optimal functioning of the endocrine system. These ingredients help regulate the production and activity of hormones involved in metabolism and appetite control, such as insulin, leptin, and ghrelin.
Furthermore, the tonic contains compounds that help mitigate the negative effects of stress hormones, such as cortisol, which can promote fat storage and inhibit weight loss. By promoting hormonal balance, Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic creates an internal environment conducive to healthy weight management and overall well-being.
Boosts Metabolism
A sluggish metabolism can make weight loss an uphill battle. Fortunately, Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic contains ingredients that help rev up the body’s metabolic engine, allowing individuals to burn calories more efficiently and effectively.
One way the tonic boosts metabolism is by increasing thermogenesis, the process by which the body generates heat and burns calories. Certain ingredients in the tonic have been shown to enhance thermogenesis, thereby increasing energy expenditure and promoting fat loss.
Additionally, Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic contains compounds that support the conversion of food into energy, rather than storing it as fat. By optimizing metabolic processes, the tonic helps individuals maintain a healthy weight and achieve their weight loss goals more easily.
Supports Digestive Health
A healthy digestive system is essential for optimal nutrient absorption, energy production, and weight management. Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic contains ingredients that promote digestive health and support the proper functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
One way the tonic supports digestive health is by incorporating prebiotic fibers that nourish beneficial gut bacteria. These bacteria play a crucial role in digestion, nutrient absorption, and immune function. By promoting a healthy balance of gut flora, the tonic helps maintain optimal digestive function and supports overall health and well-being.
Additionally, Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic contains digestive enzymes that aid in the breakdown and assimilation of nutrients from food. These enzymes enhance nutrient absorption and utilization, ensuring that the body receives the essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants needed for optimal health and weight management.
In short, Sumatra Slim Belly Tonic offers comprehensive support for weight loss by addressing the underlying factors contributing to sleep disturbances and metabolic dysfunction.
