I was very excited to see a Thai character finally added to the game, especially one with a plant theme (one of my favorite themes), though I'm sad to see how much he struggles and how bad he's seen by players. I want to try my hand at a rework to most of his kit to help.
I feel his size is fine when combined with his dash that helps him escape and heals himself, so I won't be changing that. Nor will I be changing his grab, since that can be immensely helpful and can't be replicated otherwise (aside from an enemy Hog I suppose). I also feel his ultimate is fine as is, so I'll be looking at his healing blossoms, needles, passive, and second ability.
To start, I believe he should have a passive that automatically builds up his flower over time. It would activate at the same time as the self healing passive and take about 5 or so seconds to fully charge, so he couldn't just have a fully charged blossom for free all the time. Additionally, his blossom could benefit from a secondary effect where there's a gradual heal over time. He could see a flower bud icon over allies and, the more individual healing blossoms he puts into someone, the more this bud will bloom. The more it blooms, the more it heals over time and the longer it lasts (maximum of 5 seconds). However, it wouldn't be easy to get it to full, as you would need to drop in a lot of healing shots and try to maintain it. Though you could start it right before a fight by spamming the uncharged shots into an ally to give them a bit of healing over time for the start of the fight. Ideally it would be enough to let him have times to damage freely, but not enough to make him out heal everyone else with ease or let him neglect healing.
For his needles, I see a lot of people suggesting a poison effect be added for damage over time. I assume they mean each hit triggers the poison, like an Ana shot, but I have an idea that promotes a bit more skill but also makes him even more of a character that would have to decide to heal or kill. This suggestion being that an enemy hit by enough needles in a given time by that Lifeweaver will start taking poison damage from the needles. Let's say you're firing consistently at a Cassidy and half your shots land. After 3-5 seconds, he would start taking a little extra damage each second even after you stop shooting. Ideally, this damage would be pretty small and not as long as Venom Mine but longer than an Ana shot. It's goal wouldn't be to outright kill, but to try and deter someone if possible. Some heroes, like Reaper and Mei, wouldn't be bothered in the slightest I imagine, but that's fine.
Now, regarding the platform... I think it should go. We know Space Ranger is going to be focused on verticality, so I think giving her an ability to lift allies might be more fitting. Instead, Lifeweaver could work with an ability that grants a temporary damage reduction to an ally. I imagine this as a ring of hard light flowers wrapped together and floating around an ally. The flowers gradually crack as the hero takes damage, but reduces the damage to an extent. This would be best used for helping an ally in a 1v1 or a tank who needs a bit of extra help. It wouldn't reduce damage already being dealt, like a Venom Mine or Virus though, just damage coming from outside the ring after it's applied.
Ideally, Lifeweaver should be a technical hero that takes a balance and the ability to tell when to take action or sit back. Think of it like a gardener, tending to your garden by feeding them, moving them out of the sun, and protecting them from pests.

A few mins ago my laptop went crazy for a few seconds until I restarted it. I closed down a game cause it was glitching out on me, I tried to open Discord but even thought it was already open (just minimizer) it tried to turn on the app again, same thing happened with Chrome. I spammed the Chrome icon on my taskbar and Instead of opening it like normal, a new instance got created. When I tried to close Chrome using the Taskbar, instead of openening a little window saying "New tab, Incognito mode" etc. it opened the same window when you try to right click an icon on your desktop. Then suddently a folder from my desktop opened twice, when I tried to move the window it came back to it's original position no matter what I did. So I closed the folders and random apps got selected on my screen. When I tried to restart my laptop it opened a blue screen with 5 options I think, one was saying "Return to Windows 10" other one was saying "Turn off PC" (everything was in Polish so it's not an 100% accurate translation). When I opened my PC again everything was fine until I opened steam SS, then it went apeshit again. I know that it's not a virus cause I didn't download anything weird at all, right now I'm scanning my PC just to be sure and so far nothing weird is happenig (sorry for a messy explanation I'm very nervous about my laptop)

This build can yield insane ammounts of resource... So insane in fact that I managed to end Cosmogenesis without a Lathe because my ringworld was yielding about 12k research per month and a single 500k fleet could take on the entire galaxy at once. Moreover, my needle only needed to travel within a single system to take all my pops.
Here is the build:
Origin: Shattered Ring.
You want to start in a ringworld and at best claim the surrounding sector.
Authority: Megacorporation.
Ethics: Fanatic Pacifist, Egalitarian.
Being a Crime Syndicate means you will not really be able to go to war (because you cannot declare war on empires where you have a branch office), so you may as well bit the bullet and go Fan Pacifist for the extra stability. You need Egalitarian for one of the civics.
Civics: Crime Syndicate, Worker Cooperative
Crime Syndicate is great for this build because you will be sitting on top of a lot of influence, and you can use that to expand via Branch Offices. You will want branch offices all over the galaxy, and ideally on every single colonized planet. You will use those offices to generate minerals for you during the Unity Rush phase, and then to generate Fleet Cap afterwards.
Worker Cooperative comes with the best trade policy ever: Mutual Aid. This means you will be able to get all your basic resources from trade, and will not need to have any worker other than clerks throughout the game.
Species Traits: Machine, High Bandwidth, Adaptive Frames: You want to go with machines to rush Virtuality (you are a computer virus, after all), Adaptive Frames rid you the need to tune your species to their jobs. High Bandwidth will become largely ignorable once you ascend.
Playthrough:
To play with this empire is simple. Just claim the surrounding sector and send your science ships to explore to find empires to infect.
On the home front, make sure that all your districts are either trade or industrial districts (no need of mining districts because Mutual Aid), and open all building slots as soon as possible. Settle all those building slots with Research Labs and the occasional Corporation Cultural Site.
Rush Mercantile to bring your build fully online. Wait until you max out minerals and switch to Marketplace of Ideas. Then rush Subversive and Discovery. Take whatever Ascension Perks suits you. The only one that matters is the third one, and that will be Synthetic Age.
Do the situation on Error Correcting to store as much unity as possible, and go for the best rewards for each phase of the event. No rush here. After the situation ends, just purchase all Virtuality Traditions and set your trade policy back to Mutual Aid.
Meanwhile go making first contacts and putting in Branch Offices. Be as friendly as you can be to get sensors and contacts deals. Use the branch offices to produce minerals, to offset the fact that your mineral production will be about null while you are running Marketplace of Ideas. After that, change the holdings to Pirate Free Haven, so you can have a decent Fleet Cap.
After this, take Cosmogenesis for your 4th civic, and by all means, rush Mega-engineering to restore your ringworlds. DO NOT ASCEND YOUR SEGMENTS BEFORE THAT. Or you will lose the free extra districts after you ascended your ringworlds.
You can build another two ringworlds if you so desire. It will still be worth the diminishing returns, and extra research always helps, given that you will not be building the Lathe.
Another great trick you can pull is to take Politics traditions. I did this for the extra influence to spam Branch Offices. BOs are your main source of Fleet Cap, and you will want to keep 1M fleet power distributed into about 3 fleets for the next phase anyways.
You should also use the BOs to locate The Wound. Or you can just build a Sentry Array and use it to find that system.
Take your last crisis perk, the galaxy will declare war on you, yada yada. Build the needle, embark your servers and beeline to the wound. Leave one fleet to protect your home systems, another to open the path to the Wound and another to protect the needle. Then plunge on the central black hole.

It doesn’t immediately tell me to go away, so that is some progress. It is still taking an eternity and a half to load but… With enough time, a black screen appears in front of me. Then, pleasantly green vines curl on the sides of the window, while words start to load in light gray. The banner on the center reads: DEJIMA 08, which I assume is the name of the site… Dejima? Isn’t that a real word?

A quick search in Gaggle answers: yes, yes it is! A very specific island in Cipango, artificial, made specifically to deal with pesky easterners that intruded on their lands. A sort of public spot where foreigners could come and trade.

But this is not a Cipangian forum, so it is clear these people are a bunch of weebs.

Clicking it allows me to see a few topics… ‘Closing of Topics’ and ‘Coexistence Rules’ are there, as usual. ‘Colour Palette’, probably for those who want to get fancier with their posts. The last part is strange though: ‘Sleepers and The Link’.

On the side there are a bunch of statistics: Amount of posts (respectable, if not a little low), latest posts (only on topics, not on profiles? I guess this is a private place), and the members online. No names for the members though, just numbers: 12 registered users and… oh. Only 1 guest.

Reading the rules is a good spot to start.

The Coexistence Rules were posted by a user with a dark purple name called ‘Ventotto’. They are simple enough, easily summarized on: Don’t be an Asshole, don’t be a Bot and don’t spam. I am surprised to see actual mentions of homophobia and transphobia as punishable behaviors in this year of our Saints 2012! People really liked making the same kind of 'Oh I actually identify as an Attack Helicopter! lol' joke on the internet, all the time. This is a breath of fresh air!

I shudder in intense guilt. Saints damn it.

A-Anyways. The rules also mention sanctions, like temporary kicks, denial of access to the Chatbox (Oh my, they have a chatbox! That’s fancy) or even a complete ban from the forum if people failed to accept these rules.

There were special rules about protecting the anonymity of the users though: no doxxing, no sharing personal information in the forum OR the chatbox. I wonder how much trouble this rule causes…

Closing of Topics is for users to ask for their topics to be closed, that’s basic. I can’t access it though, so they seem really into security. This one was made by a Green name, ‘jeepcreep’. Like the movie? I guess even mages have a sense of humor.

Colour Palette is nice. Just a single topic with colours usable for your posts, and it had all the colours in the spectrum!

There is one outside of it though, one that the rules specifically said should be used only in moderation: that impossible light again! Brightly shining in green and purple, mixing and flashing… it was labeled ‘Octarine’.

Staring at it for too long is going to give me a headache, that thing is an epilepsy hazard for sure! I am surprised they even allow its usage!

Under all of that, there is a tiny white square with a play button. Under that, there is a little instruction that reads: ‘Write the Rune’.

Clicking the square expands it, taking over the entire screen for a moment before octarine coloured lines begin to spiral in it. It forms a very specific symbol. A rune! I make sure to grab my book and quickly look for a matching one… I only find *one* case, but I do find it!

My heart sinks when seeing that there hasn’t been a post in introductions in over a year…

This forum is abandoned and only maintained out of some sense of obligation by the mods. The place receives little traffic being so secret, so this makes sense! But why do I still feel so nervous about it?

Taking a very deep breath, I push myself to just ignore the dread and quickly write a post. People usually mention their hobbies, their work and where in the world they are posting from, so it wouldn’t be too hard to start, right?

Hard or not, I ended up rewriting the thing like five times before pushing myself to press the ‘Post’ button.

The alarm clock rang loudly in Gal’s ears. He wasn’t ready for it, taking a sudden leap from his bed and ending up on the floor while wrapped in his covers. The young boy snarled, struggling, kicking and rolling to set himself free from the warm embrace of the mantles before getting up, looking around himself.

He was no longer in dreamland, fighting with dragons and saving princesses. It was his good ol’ room, covered from side to side in videogame paraphernalia, illuminated by the first rays of the day filtering through his thin blinds. It was a bit disappointing, considering he really was enjoying his slumber, but he would get over it.

“Hmmmngh… good morning, world.”

With a loud yawn that almost unhinged his jaw, Gal walked out of his room and went straight to the bathroom, cleaned himself up and then walked straight to the computer room. He could get breakfast later! There were emails to check and things to do even on summer vacation!

So I, (16F) have a best friend (16F) who we'll call M. Now, M & I have been best friends since age 9, when I moved several states and ended up in her class. We immediately hit it off, and since then we've been 2 peas in a pod. At the beging of covid (end of our 6th grade year), while I went to school virtually, she was homeschooled due to several medical issues that would make her more susceptible to the virus. Which I have nothing against, I completely understand it. But she was my only friend at that time, and neither of us had phones (I do, she still doesn't have one now). So without any other friends and nothing to do, I eventually found myself getting close with 2 other girls in my class, who we'll call B and Z.
On our chromebooks, B, Z, and I were on Google meets & chats all day every day. We were all really close. 7th grade started, M stayed homeschooling because of mask mandates when school was announced to be in-person, B, Z, & I were still talking every day. End of 7th grade, M started spamming my school email with random stuff she dud that year. I responded to a few of them, but between homework, track, & mental health, I just didn't have the time for all of them. And I'm talking over 10 emails a day.
Well, flash forward to 8th grade, M comes back to school, and she's a completely different person. She bleached her hair, started acting different, and was making fun of the things I liked to do. (I'm also pretty sure she wasn't showering regularly because her hair is constantly greasy & she smells terrible). She also ended up with a job at the hardware store in town. Flash forward to about a month ago, my Mom opened a restaurant in our small, small town, and I was supposed to be the afternoon/evening shift with my older sister.
Now, M still works next door at the hardware & makes a steady income. When I say steady, I mean by the time she got her permit, she had already bought a 1995 Ford Ranger. B had asked me one day how much I made in tips, I gave an estimate range (about $80 a night). Suddenly, M started complaining about not having enough money and wanting a second job. So she gets my mom to hire her at the diner, as the cashier, I might add. M started kicking me from being a waitress & I got stuck behind the counter. Now, she gets paid bi-weekly here, I get paid less often (it's fine, I work less time anyways because of track practice.) She kept bitching about not having enough money, but she literally just spends all her money like 3 days after she gets it.
A few other random things that have occured over the years: 1. About a week ago, I cut my hair short for the first time ever & she claimed that it looked terrible. However, I know she's wrong because she's the only one who thinks it. Even the ppl who hate me told me its cute. 2. I became friends with a new girl on the track team this year (she's homeschooled & works mornings at the diner) and in a couple weeks, I'm going out to her farm to learn how to ride horse. M is pissed (she's allergic to animals) & told me not to hang out with the girl because "homeschoolers are weird." I don't care, the girl is really cool. 3. She cussed me out, at work, for having a small argument with my younger sister (age 12). Was the argument in any way, shape, or form, relevant to M? Not at all (it was about who was giving our dog a bath). 4. Remember how I said I made those 2 friends, B and Z? Yeah, she told me to stop being friends with them. No good reason, just can't be friends with them anymore. 5. Any negative experience I've ever had in life? Not valid. Why? Her younger brother has Autism, hence forth "bad things can't happen to you because at least you're not Autistic."
So, at this point, I literally cannot stand M. She's constantly bitching, trying to make me feel stupid & inferior, and just generally pisses me off. Crazy enough, she still calls us best friends. Any advice on how to tell her I don't want to be friends anymore? Help a girl out.

I got spamming virus notifications on my phone from suspicious websites. I was going to block the notifications manually, but I think chrome already did that for me I saw that the notifications were already blocked.

Deacon's love and devotion to his wife is heartwarming. It's what I love most about the story in this game, a pure and deep passion that's the focal point and makes you sympathize with the main character. The fact that he can't move on from his wife's death, and then, after finding out she might be alive, his relentless search for her is simply inspirational as painful as it is for someone to be stuck up on someone, it's not something you usually see in game stories. I have a soft spot for this, and Deacon, as tough and "gruff" a biker as he might otherwise seem (which adds even more to his overall charm), is truly wholesome from this point of view. I desperately need a sequel to their love story, it can't just end like this.
And yes, I was among those disappointed with their reunion. I can only attribute it to the fact that, even though they were married, they probably weren't together for very long, hence Sarah's ability to show indifference to Deacon being alive and finding her. But still, a short time together doesn't explain Deacon's devotion. I read others' opinions about Sarah's life in the camp and her focus on her guilt in the virus storyline and mission to find a cure. However, it's no casual thing to meet your long lost love after 2 years in a post-apocalyptic world! A more emotional or possibly more troubled reaction would have been more plausible—after the soldiers leave the tent and they're alone, it was nice that they kissed but I expected to see Sarah confused and trembling, battling between her current self and her past life and love for Deacon. Shortly after, she made Deacon go on her errands like it was nothing. The conversations with her during this time could have been different, more emotional or troubling. Or show her shocked and tearful after Deacon goes on his first errand. Like ANYTHING to suggest that Sarah only showed a cold exterior but was shaken inside as any sane person would have been
Having said that, on what platform or address can I spam the devs to get on with the sequel already this is ridiculous. I was even thinking of buying the game at the full price on steam but doubt that would nudge them into deciding for the next Days Gone Edit: i made the mistake of playing the game on a friend's computer and using cheats (cause i'm scared of zombies lol) so it made it so much less immersive. Yet it still impressed me so much that I'm looking forward to buy the game on Steam to support the devs and replay for achievements + no cheats

So I'm not really sure exactly what happened or how it exactly it happen maybe someone on here might be able to help me.
So it started like this I get notification from Discord saying stop. I check it out my account i havd been spamming everyone in my friends and all the servers. So i log in as soon as I can change the password and put 2fa on it don't really use Discord much.
I assumed maybe someone just hacked my Discord nothing else as I've had no emails.
Couple of days past and nothing happens then I get a gmail saying suspicious activity on account turns out someone got into my main Google account. From there I started to change my passwords for all my email accounts. I have just in case though aswell but I think most of damage was done.
They got into my reddit account posted some weird shit and liked loads other stuff tried to get into multple accounts I have with the emails.
Being honest I did use some Same passwords a few times and none accounts had any real security lol.
Good news though despite they did do alot of damage i did not loose a account.
The thing is since this happen I have no idea how it happened. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as such?
Now on Google chrome I have something like 5 accounts all different passwords for each and these accounts have saved logins of different websites. Like my twitter and insta were also hacked .
I do know that one email after looking was part of data breach about 6 months ago. Not the mai one though.
Another note I did see one Hotmail account , I have that people have trying to get into for months lucky as soon someone got in I changed the password.
One my gueses were that maybe I opened a zip file that day that had a virus and maybe I opened what ever it was. I have since checked the drives it was connected to can't seem to find any viruses. I have been searching the drives over and over to make sure they safe to put back into my computer. I scan using Windows defender or avg
I did also do a clean install and I could not open windows defender at time as well.

Is there a way to delete an account from a phishing website?
I tried downloading music on a website but it redirected me to a different site. It said I needed to allow notifications so I allowed it. And then I started getting spamming notifications about viruses and that I need to get a virus protection. I almost made an on it but didn't.
But just in case if I did, how can I find the site and delete the account I made on it?

Finally was able to upgrade to a beast of a PC to be able to play this game and of course, in typical tarkov fashion, I am not getting the authentication email to login to my account. Ive read this seems to be an issue when you havent played in a while and use a hotmail/outlook account. Ive tried multiple times, checked spam folders, downloaded the launcher through the arena site, and nothing. Just my luck I finally have a pc that can play the game and can't even login. How do I get back to my account? I have not used Ubi Connect for months and then when I wanted to, it uptaded and now asking for password which I forgot (apparently).
I click reset password, provide valid email registered to my account at Ubisoft and no email comes. I get their marketing emails fine, and I checked spam, and also validated lower case / upper case in the email (as I saw suggestion that it had worked for some people).
I know I am not alone with this problem, how come, I can't connect to live chat anymore? No email form support either, I raised a ticket three weeks ago through their website, then another one then another one last week from Gmail instead of Hotmail and NOTHING.

So, I'm trying to recall and find an old flash game involving tower defense mechanics. I have already searched on Kongergate, Armor games, new grounds, here on reddit... Without avail.
The interface of the game looked similar to a Windows Vista desktop interface including the taskbar windows logo, which you could click to open the menu. Enemies were basically adwares, spam, viruses, rootkits... That came in waves, and you had to protect your desktop components such as music player, media player, critical OS .dlls, Folders, and you could place strategically anti-adware and other types of anti-malwares one more effective against certain malwares or having effects like slowing down for example.

UPDATE : SOLVED ! The flash game name is "Master of Security", and it was published on Kongergate just as I suspected, it was just a matter of trying the right keyword in flashpoint archive.

My Facebook account got tagged by some bogus spam account. While I knew the account was obviously spam, it linked to YouTube so out of curiosity I clicked the YouTube link and it brought me to some site that immediately started popping up windows saying I have viruses. I immediately closed the window. I’ve changed all my passwords and windows defender says nothing was detected. What sorts of things can happen from clicking a link? I didn’t enter any sort of information so phishing seems unlikely. Thanks in advance.

Sacred Cataclysmic Corrupted Demon (Also known as SCCD, The Last Resort and The Evermore) is an unknown difficulty made to be the strongest, most robust difficulty and thing in the entire Xeoricallity and beyond. This difficulty was made by TneEnchantedPokemon (Mr. Weedle), with help from 2+2 is NOT 4, Wubbysfriend11, and JtohsJokeTowers (possibly Transinfinitalius..?). The person who made EP, ER, and Endless difficulty. SCCD is made to be harder than TFD, made to look good as best as possible, and made to be harder than the "Exotic Difficulties" (SCCD isn't an Exotic Difficulty). It was made to end the bad difficulties. SCCD is also known to "End all beyonds". It is way harder than EP, ER, EPen, TFD, and a bunch more. Actually, it's so hard (obviously, it's the hardest) that it transcends the idea and capabilities of the class system itself, since it's so hard, it can't be explained even with the class system, etc. The reason why it's in a "class" is to try and show how hard it is with the class system, even though it can't be defined in a class system.. how? Because of its unknown logic that SCCD has, etc. Same thing with being a difficulty.

SCCD Tricks are somethings that ONLY SCCD can use to become the hardest difficulty ever. There is 3 Tricks known so far...right?
Trick 1: Sacrentus Force Field
The Sacrentus Force Field is a type of Force Field made by SCCD. The Force Field doesn't protect SCCD from attacks, however. This force field roams unknowingly, invisible, searching for things said to be "harder" than SCCD, with their obstacles. Once found, the force field tells SCCD, which is now when you meet Trick 2.
Trick 2: Adding Eternal
Adding Eternal is a type of magical field created in every single SCCD obstacles, every single part, EVERYTHING in SCCD, and in the atmosphere. It's when the obstacles become harder than said in the wiki, to not add spam. This prevents things claiming to become stronger than SCCD. Which can also add up to the 3rd trick .
Trick 3: Centar Blocker
Centar Blocker is a type of barrier when a difficulty that supposedly is said to make obstacles or contain obstacles (Like Obstaclizer). When they find a difficulty like Obstaclizer, they make a barrier that protects something like Obstaclizer to become harder.
Trick 4: ₱ⱤØ₮Ɇ₵₮łVɆ Ɇ₥ɆⱤ₲Ɇ₦₵Ɏ Ӿ
Protective Emergency X (PEX) is technically the strongest trick. It's technically Trick 1-3, and some more tricks beyond the human thinking, and within the human mind, and more, which means, there could be a trick PEX finds, but not added in here. And, when does, the trick goes to PEX, and makes it so its not possible for anyone to make a trick or difficulty harder than SCCD, in any way, physically, mentally, etc. This makes it so SCCD becomes the hardest difficulty ever. PEX also blocks all tricks made beyond SCCD, and contain it here, and finding a way to bypass them immediately, incase a difficulty has a any of the tricks PEX have, which PEX can bypass them all, but not other difficulties. PEX isn't even accurate at all, and you can't call it inaccurate either. You can't try to create a "buffed" version of PEX in your other SCCD+ difficulty either, as PEX adds even other PEXs as well, and drains and adds their powers/tricks(thanks to the nature of PEX, this will always work). These even works on things/buffs that aren't considered "tricks", as long as they buff their difficulty they once belonged in. Don't even try making something for PEX to absorb to weaken SCCD(like a nerf), it won't work. PEX detects if it is a nerf, and if it is, it sends it to the Eternal Sunshine to steal it from the difficulty/thing it once belonged to, translate it into a buff, then adds it to the galore of buffs. So don't even try competing with PEX lol.
With these tricks, if a difficulty has these obstacles of SCCD, SCCD is still harder, as only SCCD can contain these tricks. And, no difficulty can have a trick harder, or as hard as this. If claiming to do, SCCD is still harder. Trying to say an SCCD+ difficulty is still harder because it ignores/is immune to these tricks won't work, because PEX can and will obtain tricks and buffs that bypass that immunity, thus making SCCD reign over said difficulty.
