This has been driving me CRAZY and I am nearly positive that I am not the AH, but I just want to check and make sure.

About six months ago, my brother, his wife, and their 10-year-old son/my nephew visited me in California. They planned a brief stay at my house, and on their third day, my brother and his wife decided to take a romantic getaway to Santa Barbara. Initially, they intended to bring their son/my nephew (let’s call him Little Johnny), but I offered to watch him so they could enjoy some alone time. My sister-in-law (let’s call her Donna) wasn’t so sure about the idea. She has never liked me, she sees me as a carefree bachelor and believes that I am going against God’s will by not settling down to procreate. I also am not fond of her, at all. But anyway, my brother convinced her it was fine and they head off.
The day they left, Johnny and I had a blast. We swam in my pool, played mini-golf, I let him shoot me with paint balls and we watched a Lakers game on TV. I let him eat pizza and candy and stay up an hour past his bedtime. You know, I was going the “cool uncle” thing. The next day we planned to go to his first Dodgers game. I was surprised when I got up early and found him downstairs, already showered and dressed. The game was fun, but unfortunately, Little Johnny was quieter and mentioned his stomach hurt, so we left early and headed home.
His parents were due back a few hours later and they’d then be heading to the airport. I plopped Little Johnny on the couch with an iPad so that I could feed and play with the dog and do some Sunday chores around the house. I went to check the guest room where he was staying to make sure that he was packed and ready to go. I open the door and was met with an astonishing smell of poop. At first, I thought it was my dog who was there next to me. So I said “Oh no did you do this?” And pointed him to walk out the room. I then tiptoed around the room looking for a log on the floor. I then realized that it couldn’t have been the dog because the bedroom door had been closed. Uh oh. I should have known something was up when I saw that the bed was made. So I lift up the duvet cover and there is diarrhea EVERYWHERE. He must have had an accident and then rubbed his legs all around spreading it everywhere while asleep. It was all over the sheets and the duvet cover. And he’d hidden a towel under the bed that he must have used to at least try to clean some of it up.
So, I rip off the duvet cover and the bottom sheet and throw them into the washer and run them on the hottest cycle using Tide bleach detergent.
I’m now wearing an N-95 mask, a hoodie and kitchen gloves when I reenter the room. I now see that the poop has penetrated both the duvet cover and the bottom sheet, because there are splattered stains on the down duvet, and then there’s a big, circular, deep looking stain on the mattress— right in the middle. This is the hot zone. The stain has now probably been sitting there for over 12-hours since he didn’t tell me about it, so now it’s all dried in there. Meanwhile little Johnny is trying to come upstairs but I’m telling him not to because I’m “on an important phone call.” I don’t want him knowing that I know because I don’t want to embarrass him.
I’m googling how I can possibly salvage the mattress so I’m trying to scrub it with hydrogen peroxide, but nothing is working. This is a very expensive latex mattress made by this brand Avocado Mattress. This mattress for the guest room was a Queen with medium plushness and cost me $2500! Their beds go all the way up to $6k! But I wanted my guests to have a comfortable place to sleep when they stay so I splurged. And that weekend was the first time the mattress had been slept on! My brother and his wife were on it the first two and then little Johnny Poopy Pants the third. And now this.
I decided not to confront my brother or Donna upon their return to avoid embarrassing Johnny, hoping they would offer to help with the costs later.
The next day, I pay some upholstery cleaning company to come and try to shampoo and vacuum it all up with their industrial wet-vacs (another $400) and it helps a little, but the brown stain is still plain as day. It’s a big brown crater. I guess latex absorbs any sort of moisture or fecal matter deep into its fibers. The cleaning guys tell me that it’s fine to sleep on. The smell is gone and it’s been totally sanitized, so nobody will know once a sheet is on top. excuse me, what? I don’t care. There’s a giant brown stain on the middle of the mattress. I’m not going to make anyone sleep on there. Plus, it’s all I’ll think about each time I pass by the room. Of course the warranty for the mattress doesn’t cover accidental feces, so, I throw the brand new mattress out. I also threw out the white goose down comforter (which also wasn’t cheap) as well as all the bedding. I just wanted it gone.
A week later, I recounted the incident to my brother in what I intended as a light-hearted manner, hoping for some recognition of the situation. I didn’t outright say that I now needed a brand new matttess but it was pretty clear. He said he’d talk to Donna about what could have happened with little Johnny, and I then hoped that she’d understand the situation and I’d get a call, but none came.
So, I wait. I even speak with my brother on the phone a few times like we always do, but it’s never mentioned again. Neither of us like confrontation. I try to let it go. But I’ve just moved into this new house. I had just bought this really nice mattress for my guest room, and now there’s just a bed frame sitting there. I kept going to the Avocado website, putting the same $2,500 mattress into my cart and then I’d then think “wait, why on earth am I paying for this mattress? I didn’t poop on the mattress for F’s sake!” And the thing was only three days old!
So last week, my sister-in-law Donna calls to say that they’re coming to LA for the weekend in two weeks for a wedding. I can tell she’s fishing for an invite to stay at my house so they won’t have to spring for a hotel. So (this was kind of evil of me) I said of course they can stay (knowing that they couldn’t because I don’t have a mattress!) She’s happy. Ten minutes later, I call and say “oh shoot, I completely forgot, you can’t stay here because unfortunately I still don’t have a mattress after the weekend with Little Johnny.” I then told her they were welcome to the couch, or they could bring an air mattress to put on the empty bed frame. It was at this point that I think she understood where I was going. She said they’d just figure something else out, and that was that. I made plans to go out to dinner with just my brother on the Thursday night before the wedding. Donna was seeing her friends in LA that night which I was thrilled about in general, but also because I wanted to talk to my brother about the mattress situation since I know that he is a lot more sensible than she is. I honestly think that him not immediately offering to pay for the mattress was more a case of his extreme ADD. I sometimes think he’s on the cusp of Asperger’s the way he misses some social cues. I knew he’d understand, especially without Donna there who tends to be in charge. She’s loud and from New Jersey and sometimes it really shines through, no offense to those in Jersey. And my brother is pretty docile.
This led to a dinner where I tried to address the matter gently. The conversation quickly escalated when Donna took offense, suggesting I was trying to embarrass her and Johnny. She refused any responsibility for the mattress, equating the incident with a past event where I had been forgiven for a less severe mishap.
The evening ended with no resolution, and I felt conflicted about having to assert myself to resolve a matter that seemed clearly accidental but also a responsibility due to their child's actions. I was left questioning whether my expectations were unreasonable, although I felt justified in seeking some form of compensation or at least acknowledgment of the incident.
So I get to dinner, and I see my brother AND DONNA at the dinner table. Damnit. I guess her friends bailed, I don’t blame them. We have a nice meal. My brother and I are doing a lot of reminiscing which Donna doesn’t like very much because it doesn’t include her (I know it sounds like I’m piling on her right now but I can’t help it). When dinner is winding down I decide to politely broach the subject. I tell them how fun it was spending time with little Johnny, how much he reminds me of my brother when he was his age and how I’d happily watch him anytime they needed me to. I then just said something like “listen, it’s not a big deal, but I just bought my house as well as everything in it, and it’s finally all done, but I want to replace the mattress so the guest room is usable again.” My ADD bother, not getting it, was like “I bet. It’s a great place. We loved staying there.” I look over at Donna and she’s scowling at me and says something like “so this is why you brought us to dinner? So you could embarrass us and our son?” So now we’re in it right away. And I tell her (I was probably the AH here) that I didn’t invite her to anything. It was meant to be just my brother and I. She just showed up.
She tells me to F off and says that I’m “trying to embarrass them and their son by bringing it up.” WHAT? I tell her that I’m not mad or trying to shame Johnny at all, but I didn’t poop in the bed. Her son did. Why should I have to pay for the mattress? My brother is just like “ok everyone calm down this has been a nice even…” but we’re just talking over him. She then tells me that it’s my fault for not having a waterproof mattress protector. What? Why would I have that? I hadn’t planned on any of my friends or family having explosive diarrhea in my bed! She also said that I could have easily had it professionally cleaned which obviously did.
This was the best, she then asks “Did my parents ask you for a new swimming pool after you vomited in it during our wedding?” She then called me a lush. They got married at her parents house and yes, I did throw up in the pool at the end of the night, BUT 1) The wedding was 12 years ago! We were all in our 20’s 2) had her parents asked, you can be sure I would have been at the bottom of the pool the very next morning, in scuba gear, with a scrub brush and some bleach to clean up any of the last remnants. I had apologized to them profusely the following morning and they laughed it off 3) A dry, latex mattress and a continuously filtered, chlorinated swimming pool are two completely separate things and 4) Poop outgrosses vomit any day of the week and it always has. There’s no denying that.
She then says, flat out, that they’re not paying for it. Now mind you, she doesn’t earn the money in the family, my brother does. She looks after Little Johnny ,which believe me, I know is just as tough of a job, I mean that, my mother raised me and was lucky enough not to have to work because my brother and I were enough of a job, but it’s not actually her earned money. She then says “you can buy your own mattress Mr. Moneybags.” She knows I hate it when she says stuff like that more than anything, especially because my brother EARNS MORE $ than I do! I just don’t have a family to take care of so I can afford a nicer car or a bigger TV.
My brother just wants this to end so he says “listen, we’ll work this out, he was nice enough to look after Johnny and it happened while he was there so we’ll do what we need to…” She then interrupts him and says “he’s not getting a thing. He wants to embarrass us and our son just because he can’t take care of a mattress.”
So I then say (rather passive aggressively) “Listen, Donna, forget I said anything. On Monday, I will call Tom (my bother) in the office and we will work this out like level-headed adults, like my brother and I both are, without you. And I will be paid for the mattress. So, you’re done, you don’t have to worry about it anymore. We’ve got it from here. Well from there it kept going downhill.
AITA here? I am pretty sure that I am not, I just want to make sure that I’m not being crazy. I was nice enough to look after my nephew so that my bro and his wife could have a relaxing night away. I took him to a baseball game, kept him entertained and we had a great time. He then pooped all over my brand new Avocado mattress and didn’t tell me about it all day so the stain had 12 hours to set it. I’m not blaming the kid. Accidents happen, but I didn’t poop the bed… My dog peed on my good friend’s carpet last year and I paid for a carpet cleaning service to come without them even asking, it’s common decency. I even offered to buy them a new rug the cleaners couldn’t get it out! It’s just what you do. And we’re talking poop here!!

I'm looking to play some casual games with friends in which I'll eventually be taking a Baneblade. But I'll be able to proxy it as other variants of the Baneblade such as the Doomhammer. On the warhammer app it claims some of these models can take Astra Militarum models as transports (up to 26 I believe). Does anyone know if I can transport Genestealer Cults models in Brood Brothers vehicles? (I can't seem to find any kind of answer online or in an errata or update)

Availability: Due to life and work schedules we are all available only at 8PM PAC on Fridays!
Preferences: PF2e is our preferred system and we have really enjoyed what we have played. Adventure paths or homebrew doesn't matter, but something long form would be best! We have tried starting Seven Dooms for Sandpoint, but players keep backing out on us, don't take it serious, and it is frustrating almost getting to play and then everything falling through. We are most familiar with Foundry VTT. Been looking for a solid GM and 4th, 5th etc player(s) who are reliable, want to RP and enjoy the game and each others company! We're all in our 30's so we'd prefer if the group was a little more mature and take the game more seriously in terms of story and character RPing... Other than that we have no qualms with content old school new school whatever, cursing isnt an issue, we were all sailors. As long as we all discuss eveything at the 0 session. We just love the game, love the community and want desperately to play a campaign with some good people on Friday! Cheers!

I think I may have been LOVE SCAMMED by a group targeting people online and through dating apps. Not sure yet
How long are statute of limitations?
They move around alot, and seem to be pros so not sure what will come of this but I just mainfested myself some paid time off and have nothing better to do then play the game :)

To submit to the app store, you need an App Preview that's in 4k (3840 x 2160). It seems like you have two options:
Using the 1080p screen record is fine though.
Do folks have any recommendation for upscaling the 1080p footage to 4k? It seems like there are a slew of online "ai editor" websites that can upscale, and some tools, but i'm just surprised they require 4k given that the hardware can barely handle the capture.
Has anyone else dealt with this? What do you recommend?

- Use Reality Composer Pro's "Developer Capture" feature, which records the vision pro capture in 4k and transfers to your computer, or
- Use the Vision Pro's "Record Screen" (control center) feature, which records the vision pro capture in 1080p.

I haven't played hearthstone for years. Heard they made new Raza, crafted a deck with him (here). So far, i've been winning many archetypes, control warriors, quest warlocks and others. However, there's 1 exact deck i have 0% winrate against. It is plague death knight. And, IMO, it is pure cancer. Not only do none of my highlander cards work, but i also learned today that, somehow, whenever something is being shuffled into your deck, it also REARRANGES it. So Polkelt doesn't have any effect either. I already added Steamcleaner to ETC band, i get another copy of him Seance, i resurrect him with Raise Dead, but it's just not enough. Fucker just keeps shuffling, shuffling and shuffling those plagues into my deck. Helya is a real problem. You play steamcleaner? Such a shame he will instantly shuffle 2 SAME plagues, and you will have to skip the turn again. If it's played turn 4, it is an instant concede, there's no more point in playing that game anymore. And those exact DKs like to spam "i grant you permission to speak" (such a shame their mothers don't have that ability anymore). Am i really that bad or is it just a bad matchup? Is there something that can be done here? Maybe there are some cards i don't know about, yet again, haven't played hearthstone for a long time.

The premise is that in every city in the world, there exists a treaty of the accords where large supernatural entities establish an etiquette of what actions are condoned in their interactions with the mortal world. Through politicking and violence, each accorded nation tries to gain more influence in each city.
In this specific campaign, the party are a band of misfits supernatural folk who came together to make their own faction to stand up for mortals and overlooked entities. The campaign is set in modern day New Orleans.

I know that 15$ is not much (and it's a totally fair price for what Pico-8 is), still i would like to ask if sometimes it goes on discount on itch.io or i don't know maybe humble bundle, because at the moment i can't buy it.
I would like to buy it because i'm often offline and can't use the Edu version and would like to start use all the feature that are negated to the online version.

Found cheating apps on his music phone on the 24th and broke up. It's especially tough since I first learned of it April 26th 2019. April seems like a cursed month for me. It was encredibly hard seeing him so upset. We kept in contact and he asked me to join him for online therapy sessions. Went by on Friday and Saturday, both times the counselor didn't show and he looked for others but the site seems almost abandoned. Claimed it was recommended by a local resource I've used before. He also called a domestic violence center that has counseling for the abusers. He claims he's felt demonized and people act differently once he tells them what he's done. He dosent believe he will get a call back from them. Says he won't give up but dosent think he'll get a call.
I suggested Sex Addicts Anonymous, he claimed he dosent believe he needs it since he thinks this time wasn't a relapse. Just a poor decision. Either way he looked and joined a group by phone. He felt like the others didn't like him.The person before was told thanks for opening up and he was told thanks man, next. He decided to just listen mostly and sent me a picture to show he was on the call.
Went to bed after that. Woke up and did my own thing. He woke up late round 4pm. Said morning and said he was upset I didn't send a good morning text since we said we would be in contact.
My game had a event going on so went out not long after my nap, told him so and that I just didn't think of it. I got short answers of k. I told him nothing has changed and I still need to see continous efforts.
He then said. No different? Okay it's clear this isn't worth trying
Surprised and frustrated I said Wow. Okay hope you still hope you improve yourself either way. Bye
He then goes on to say he plans to, i just clearly don't want us so fuck it. I told him I'm tired of him straight up ignoring what I say and just going with his version of events.
Said I claimed he showed no change which he says is a complete lie. Said there is tons of change and I refuse to accept it. Pointless since I won't ever accept him, obvious I won't let him work on it.
I told him to fuck off because I told him I appreciate the changes he's making but I won't deal with ten official years of cheating, asking for continued efforts in recovery from cheating.
Said to not blame him, he embarrassed himself making that call, but yet no change, okay.
I got really mad and said one call in less than a week is continued efforts, your delusional. Said I didn't give him a continuing chance. So pissed when he says that after I gave him five years.
He then said I never said one call was enought i was its prove of change you denied any chance. Its coear you dont want me to chance. What the hell why are you being so hostile.
Told him to read my texts, sick of him putting words in my mouth and not reading. If you believe small changes over like three days is continued efforts your delusional. Told him he definitely needs SAA and should ask a therapist about narcissistic traits.
He then became confused and said he wasn't being narcissistic at the moment , saying he's just trying to get me to talk, I have all the control and there's no way he could be a narcissist in this situation. Repeted he was upset with no morning text and said it feels like only he cares.
Told him I need to see more than just his month breaks he used to do. That even if he's not trying to or being right now, he exhibits narcissistic traits. Told him we'd stay in tough but didn't specify good mornings.
Talks about how he's never gone this far before, never considered it before, no reason to think it's the same. Then said he's not showing any traits, he just said k and I didn't like it. If you don't care idk why I'm trying but I want you so you hold all the power he claims.
Told him he's saying allt of the same shit, not reading what I'm saying. Then went on about how he's not trying improve himself for himself, just to get me back which is not what I want. Said as soon as he gets comfortable he'll probably go back to his old ways like always because he's not improving for himself. 2024.04.29 00:26 triplestackks I Upgraded to an Acer gaming desktop that was on sale at microcenter.
 | Hello, recently I decided to upgrade from a custom build (specs below) I bought off of a friend in college for $1000 to one of the gaming desktops made by Acer. It has been a long time since I have owned a machine made by Acer due to their competitors earning my purchases but I walked into a Microcenter and bought this pre built (pics below) on sale for $2,000 (original price tag $3,799) . submitted by triplestackks to pcmasterrace [link] [comments] The only downside I have noticed so far is that some of the wiring inside the case is sloppy, you can tell they didn't spend too much time keeping the wires neat and the big fans are incredibly loud when you put the computer to work. There are videos online covering the noise the fans make when you run demanding applications/software but other than that no major complaints. I like to game on my PC but I also design in photoshop, illustrator, cinema 4d, and after effects so I added a 2 tb ssd and 32gb of ddr5 4800mhz ram to the pre-built for $317. All in all after tax I paid $2,467.09 for my new PC. My previous build. New pre-built. It came with 32gb ddr5 4400mhz ram. The processor for the pre-built, I don't know why it didn't display in the image above. I like to game on my PC but I also design in photoshop, illustrator, cinema 4d, and after effects so I added 2 tbs of storage and 32gb of ram to the pre-built for $317. All in all after tax I paid $2,467.09 for my new PC. Microcenter receipt for the desktop. Microcenter receipt for the ram and ssd. Side front I am not a big fan of the case, it seems a bit exaggerated to me but nevertheless I think it was a pretty good deal at the end of the day. *Note: I haven't had time to figure out how to turn off the acer logo on the front of the case so if you know how to turn it off please let me know. 2024.04.29 00:25 Obversa Ron DeSantis has declared war on Satanism - as well as separation of church and state, the First Amendment, and the U.S. Constitution
Gov. Ron DeSantis has been at war with Satanism and the Satanic Temple since December 2023.
In December 2023, the Satanic Temple erected a Baphomet display in the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines for the Christmas season. However, on 14 December 2023, the display was destroyed by Michael Cassidy, a 35-year-old candidate for the Mississippi House of Representatives and a Christian conservative from Lauderdale, Mississippi.
Cassidy, who read about the display on social media, went to the Capitol to destroy it, stating his reasoning for vandalizing the statue: "I grew up in a country that was founded on Christian principles, and in America, that generally promoted good ethics and public displays of virtue. The evil display and the lack of action surprised and offended me as a Christian. People need to stand up for what is right. Satan is evil, and glorifying evil is not an American value."
Cassidy also stated that the Satanic Temple "needed Jesus", and sought to evangelize adherents.
In a further interview with conservative news outlet The Sentinel, Cassidy said, "The world may tell Christians to submissively accept the legitimization of Satan, but none of the Founding Fathers would have considered government sanction of Satanic altars inside Capitol buildings as protected by the First Amendment. Anti-Christian values have steadily been mainstreamed more and more in recent decades, and Christians have largely acted like the proverbial frog in the boiling pot of water. I saw this blasphemous statue, and was outraged. My conscience is held captive to the word of God, not to bureaucratic decree, and so I acted."
Cassidy also cited 1 John 3:8 from the Gospel of John from New Testament of the Bible as his motivating for destroying the Baphomet display: "The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the Devil. Scripture exhorts us to think and act like Jesus Christ."
Despite Cassidy's claims, the Satanic Temple states on its website, "We do not believe in the existence of Satan or the supernatural. The Satanic Temple believes that religion can, and should, be divorced from superstition. As such, we do not promote a belief in a personal Satan. To embrace the name 'Satan' is to embrace rational inquiry removed from supernaturalism and archaic tradition-based superstitions. Satanists should actively work to hone critical thinking, and exercise reasonable agnosticism in all things. Our beliefs must be malleable to the best current scientific understandings of the material world, never the reverse."
The Satanic Temple also denied Cassidy's accusations of "promoting evil", stating, "[We] hold to the basic premise that undue suffering is bad, and that which reduces suffering is good. We do not believe in symbolic 'evil'. We acknowledge blasphemy as a legitimate expression of personal independence from counter-productive traditional norms."
Cassidy was later charged with fourth degree criminal mischief after the Satanic Temple pressed charges; if found guilty, he will face a maximum penalty of one year in prison, and a $2,560 USD fine. He was later charged with a hate crime under Iowa's list of misdemeanors.
The Sentinel subsequently launched a crowdfunding campaign for Cassidy's legal defense fund, and raised $20,000 within three hours, $10,000 of which was donated by conservative campaign group Turning Point USA. Republican presidential candidate and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis also stated on TwitteX that he would donate to the campaign. Overall, the campaign raised over $75,000 for Cassidy's legal defense.
It was announced that Davis Younts, an attorney and retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel, would represent Cassidy in court. Younts stated, "My client [Michael Cassidy] was motivated by his Christian faith to peacefully protest a display that is a direct affront to God. When others, including elected leaders, were unwilling to act, he peacefully removed the display. It is my hope that the citation will be dismissed when my client's actions are understood, and that he will not face prosecution because of his Christian faith."
Kim Reynolds, the Governor of Iowa, released the following statement on 12 December 2023, just two days before Cassidy destroyed the Baphomet display: "Like many Iowans, I find the Satanic Temple's display in the Capitol absolutely objectionable. In a free society, the best response to objectionable speech is more speech, and I encourage all those of faith to join me today in praying over the Capitol, and recognizing the nativity scene that will be on display – the true reason for the season."
Iowa State Representative Jon Dunwell, an ordained minister and Republican, stated on TwitteX, "My observation as a follower of Christ, I certainly find a display from the Satanic Temple objectionable. It stands in direct opposition to my faith, and would be classified as evil...[however], in fairness, many other religions or nonreligious people have the same perspective about Christianity...[and] I don't want the state evaluating and making determinations about religions. I am guided by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution."
Another Iowa State Representative and Republican pastor, Brad Sherman, disagreed with Dunwell, calling the Baphomet display "disgusting", and arguing that the display was a violation of the Iowa State Constitution.
Sherman stated, "The Iowa Constitution is the supreme law of the State of Iowa, and it establishes the legal foundation upon which all other state laws are built...it is a tortured and twisted interpretation of law that affords Satan, who is universally understood to be the enemy of God, religious expression equal to God in an institution of government that depends upon God for continued blessings. Such a legal view...violates the very foundation of our State Constitution."
Sherman also argued against the separation of church and state in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, and in favor of Christian nationalism, in the State of Iowa.
DeSantis also joined Sherman in arguing against the separation of church and state in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, and in favor of Christian nationalism, after recently signing a bill allowing religious chaplains as guidance counselors in Florida public schools on 18 April 2024.
By doing so, DeSantis insisted he was only returning public schools to their "original intent", stating, "It used to be, I mean, when education in the United States first started, every school was a religious school. That was just part of it. Public schools were religious schools. I think what we're doing is restoring the sense of purpose that our Founding Fathers wanted to see in education."
DeSantis' words also echoed those of Iowa State Representative Brad Sherman in a release.
As they have done with other cases involving religion and public schools, the Satanic Temple said it would gladly send chaplains into Florida’s public schools as soon as the new law took effect. These Satanists are not actual Satan-worshippers, even though they have legal status as a church, but rather a secularist group, hoping, in their words, "to provide a safe and inclusive alternative to the religious clubs that use threats of eternal damnation to convert school children to their belief system".
DeSantis fired back. "Some have said that if you do a school chaplain program, that somehow you're going to have Satanists running around in all our schools," he said at a press conference at a high school in Kissimmee, Florida, where he also signed a bill (HB 1317) giving more school access to "patriotic organizations".
"We're not playing those games in Florida," DeSantis continued. "[Satanism] is not a religion. That is not qualifying to be able to participate in this."
In a statement sent after the bill signing, the Satanic Temple indicated that hadn't changed. The legislation takes effect July 1, 2024.
"Despite DeSantis's contempt for religious liberty, the U.S. Constitution guarantees our equal treatment under the law, and DeSantis is not at liberty to amend the U.S. Constitution by fiat, at whim," said Lucien Greaves, co-founder of the the Satanic Temple. "[Ron DeSantis] just invited Satanic chaplains into public schools, whether he likes it or not."
DeSantis' comments contradict the bill's sponsor – Sen. Erin Grall, R-Fort Pierce – who said that because of the First Amendment's religious freedom protections, the school chaplain bill (HB 931) wasn't limiting.
Sen. Grall, though, was concerned about Satanic chaplains: "I think that as soon as we get in the middle of defining what is religion and what is not, and whether or not someone can be available and be on a list, we start to run (into) constitutional problems," she said before the legislation passed.
Yet the fundamental problem remains. The program smashes through the wall between church and school, and it’s patently unconstitutional. The Supreme Court has ruled in cases like 1948's McCollum v. Champaign that public schools could not invite preachers in.
DeSantis seems to be banking on the U.S. Supreme Court's conservative majority to back this norm-breaking law—a safe bet, given the number of court opinions in recent years that have allowed religion into public schools, including a 2020 decision, Espinoza v. Montana Dept. of Revenue, that concluded that leaving religious preachers out of public schools was a kind of "discrimination".

Long vent , looking for advice and people to talk to. Thank you if you do read it.
Found cheating apps on his music phone on the 24th and broke up. It's especially tough since I first learned of it April 26th 2019. April seems like a cursed month for me. It was encredibly hard seeing him so upset. We kept in contact and he asked me to join him for online therapy sessions. Went by on Friday and Saturday, both times the counselor didn't show and he looked for others but the site seems almost abandoned. Claimed it was recommended by a local resource I've used before. He also called a domestic violence center that has counseling for the abusers. He claims he's felt demonized and people act differently once he tells them what he's done. He dosent believe he will get a call back from them. Says he won't give up but dosent think he'll get a call.
I suggested Sex Addicts Anonymous, he claimed he dosent believe he needs it since he thinks this time wasn't a relapse. Just a poor decision. Either way he looked and joined a group by phone. He felt like the others didn't like him.The person before was told thanks for opening up and he was told thanks man, next. He decided to just listen mostly and sent me a picture to show he was on the call.
Went to bed after that. Woke up and did my own thing. He woke up late round 4pm. Said morning and said he was upset I didn't send a good morning text since we said we would be in contact.
My game had a event going on so went out not long after my nap, told him so and that I just didn't think of it. I got short answers of k. I told him nothing has changed and I still need to see continous efforts.
He then said. No different? Okay it's clear this isn't worth trying

He then goes on to say he plans to, i just clearly don't want us so fuck it. I told him I'm tired of him straight up ignoring what I say and just going with his version of events.

Found cheating apps on his music phone on the 24th and broke up. It's especially tough since I first learned of it April 26th 2019. April seems like a cursed month for me. It was encredibly hard seeing him so upset. We kept in contact and he asked me to join him for online therapy sessions. Went by on Friday and Saturday, both times the counselor didn't show and he looked for others but the site seems almost abandoned. Claimed it was recommended by a local resource I've used before. He also called a domestic violence center that has counseling for the abusers. He claims he's felt demonized and people act differently once he tells them what he's done. He dosent believe he will get a call back from them. Says he won't give up but dosent think he'll get a call.
I suggested Sex Addicts Anonymous, he claimed he dosent believe he needs it since he thinks this time wasn't a relapse. Just a poor decision. Either way he looked and joined a group by phone. He felt like the others didn't like him.The person before was told thanks for opening up and he was told thanks man, next. He decided to just listen mostly and sent me a picture to show he was on the call.
Went to bed after that. Woke up and did my own thing. He woke up late round 4pm. Said morning and said he was upset I didn't send a good morning text since we said we would be in contact.

I am really miserable. My husband is an excellent dad, but just says things to me that feel toxic. I worked 40+ hours a week several months ago, and the moment I would get home he would complain about the state of our house, tell me that he knows wives who do far more than me, etc. He has told me that there is no one he can talk to about his wife, because “it would just be too embarassing for you.” I now work 30 hours a week while doing online school, and I still get complained at for the house etc (and, he insinuates that I really am not doing that much.) admittedly I’m not the most organized person- but, I’m not hanging on the couch all day. He has told me that he wishes he would’ve broken up with me when we were dating- and that, he wouldn’t have married me if I hadn’t gotten pregnant at 22 ( I am 25 now.) last night he told me it feels like he has pissed away his 20s. Like he could’ve had friends, etc but his life is holding him back is what I gathered.

I make way, way less than he does and I’m worried I won’t get primary custody if we do end up getting a divorce. I think his plan is to move in with his Mom and have her help him out quite a bit while he does his own thing and enjoys his 20s. I really don’t want my MIL raising our toddler for many reasons. Old comp player here, basically the title. Performance is horrible tbh, don't know how i ever played on this.
During fights, constant stuttering (and therefore input delay spikes) really makes it hard to be consistent but its strange because this only appears in Fortnite specifically and it has for years. Only in battle royale during intense building/editing.
My current specs are pretty good : 2080 / 5600x / 16gb 3600mhz / 128gb NVME SSD. I cap my fps at 240 and to be honest i really expect to be STICKING 240 on performance mode on ALL low settings with no background programs.

could it be something simple and stupid I'm overlooking? the only thing i can think of is my monitor being cheap, a bad USB. I'm lost and don't know what to do and i simply refuse to pay those optimizers on twitter.
I would appreciate some help. Really looking to start getting back into this game as its one of the only games i am truly good at lol.

- following endless guides online like reg tweaks, settings optimization guides, programs like timer res, antimicro, (process lasso in the past), uninstalling unnecessary drivers
- checked ram stability, system temps, drive health etc, cleaning pc
- custom Nvidia drivers, old drivers
- replaced basically my whole pc at this point, incl PSU, GPU CPU, MOB, coolers, thermal paste
- stock windows (hardware problem?) AND atlasOS, a custom OS designed for performance and stability.
- i play with only fn and discord open. pc is to my knowledge optimized to the max.

I've been trying to setup a new modlist using Vortex through Parallels on my M1 Mac. I've done a fresh install of the game and cleared out all of the mods from my Vortex, and started redownloading them from scratch. I've also tried most of the tricks I've seen online, primarily:

Hey everyone! I just finished all of the animated steins;gate series (besides the movie, I'm saving that to use as motivation until after my exams lmaooo). Whenever I watch a 10/10 series, I come to the subreddit to see what the community talks about. When I came here, though, it looked to me like you guys were talking about different series and video games. I couldn't find much online about what is related to what, so if someone could explain it to me, that would mean a lot. I loved this series and want to experience more of it.
