BIGBANG (빅뱅) is a K-pop boy group by YG Entertainment that debuted on August 19th, 2006. The group currently consists of four members: G-DRAGON, T.O.P, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG. BIGBANG helped spread the Korean Wave internationally and are one of the most influential acts in K-pop history.
So my mom died a few months ago and I was reluctant to post about it on Facebook because I’m not terribly active on there but I do have friends and people I know. I posted that my mom died and that I was feeling her loss on Mother’s Day and this post got… drum roll … 12 “reactions” and 3 people commented. I’m feeling so bad about it because it’s like nobody f’in cares! People from my home town who have posted recently knew my mom and have said nothing. It really sucks. I don’t know why I even bothered. The 12 people who posted reaction emojis apparently couldn’t even eke out a meager “sorry for your loss”. It just affirms my paranoia that everyone hates me. Now I officially have no living family members and apparently no friends either.
My dad was a asshole and he left when I was 12. Everyone from his side of the family is a fucking piece of shit and I've pretty much cut them all off. My mom is sweet and so are most of her family members. Unfortunately, they all live in other states and countries so I don't see them that often.
Now, I know you can't choose your family, but I'm worried that bc I come from such a fucked up family, dating will be a lot harder for me. For those of you who come from a broken family, how's dating for you?
Bro, I can’t believe what I’m reading either on the main Kendrick sub or Dark Kenny. These guys have truly lost it, they’re spreading crazy theories about the Christian Alvarez guy and shit. They’re starting to sound like my conspiracy theorist family members. They’re also starting to adopt cult-like language and have gone beyond reason.
I know Drake has done some highly questionable stuff. How did we go from “he texts Millie Bobby Brown” to allegations of abusing disabled people, and Epsetin-island Q Anon level theories?
Hopefully whatever is up all comes to light. I personally think Drake isn’t smart enough to even carry these things out and hide it. Either way, this ain’t it and this isn’t the way. All over what some random guy on Twitter is saying.
This beef has turned into something unhealthy, dark, twisted and I’m starting to worry this could become violent for either of the rappers, or others. Parasocial relationships with any celebrity are a hell of a drug.
Be careful of the info you’re consuming online. Talk to real people. Turn off your phone. Go for a walk.
Stay safe peeps.
I (30F) have been out of contact from most of my family for almost 2 years now. Some of the family doesn't like me much and spread rumors about me that overtime I finally started hearing. I'm apparently an alcoholic drug abuser who beats up kids and abuses significant others, along with other things. I actually cant stand alcohol and definitely dont take drugs. I only started hearing about this when I tried applying for new jobs. The rumors use the names of my aunt and cousins so I think I know who spread the rumors, but that doesn't help since the damage is done. So how would you guys deal with rumors from toxic people?

//- EXECUTIVE NOTES //-
- I am using a TEW 2016 data converted to TEW 2020, it has a lot of issues mainly around personality attributes, everyone - even the most godly person seems to have a hard drug issue or cause issues. This really impacted the moral (0%) and therefore hurt my initial shows. I'm not a fan of playing around with data during a save but it was required to make it playable.
- Despite slashing the wage bill with $700k in terminations, and signing replacements on per show deals my basic wage has not changed dramatically, only about $100k.
- One unintended consequence of slashing the wage bill has been a massive reduction in Merchandise. I'm making $750k less than my first month. While my live event merchandise sales have increased, I'm $775k down on worker sales.
- As one of the few that did watch WCW in 2000, I am surprised you start as small (made even harder by being based South West). Also Hogan was still under contract with WCW until 2002 (just sitting at home), on this data he starts unemployed. Having said that, if he was on your wage bill the challenge would be even harder.
Paying bills on time, managing my health, staying in touch with my friends and family, working on my passions and personal goals- all of this feels easy compared to the real hard part of adulting, navigating loss.
I recently had to end my relationship of 2.5 years with my bf who I was deeply in love with. He just could not work with me to resolve conflict, reciprocate my effort, show up for me as a partner and team member no matter how much I asked. I feel so disillusioned by this experience, and kind of hopeless. As a woman in my late 20s im wondering if I’ll be able to find someone I love and trust enough to have kids. I wanted that so badly to be my ex. I still love him and feel like it will take me forever to get over him. I tried working on our relationship issues for a year and communicated my issues clearly to him, but he dismissed me time after time and could not show up for me in fixing our issues.
I am now dealing with the loss of my grandma who was my main deep tie to my cultural heritage. I’m deeply sad to lose her storytelling and direct tie to her home country. Simultaneously processing this while processing that I am running out of time to build a positive family unit of my own has me in a deep depression. I don’t feel like doing anything I love anymore. everyday I wake up with the heaviest feeling of sadness in my chest. The hardest part of adulting is letting go. I feel like that’s one thing I may never get a hang of.

I live in a single-family home. Let's call it "200 Sample Street".
Over the past year or so, we have had mail come for several different people we don't know, addressed to "200 Sample Street, Unit # ___ ". There are no "units" here.
This is "actual mail", not bulk ads or solicitations. The senders appear to have had some sort of business transaction(s) with the people the mail is addressed to.
We DO NOT open the mail. Often you can see the word "invoice" through the little plastic window.
The mail appears to be from insurance companies, medical centers, storage unit rental places, etc.
We've been marking them "Addressee Unknown/ No Such Address", and taking them back to the Post Office. They say "Oh, we'll handle it!" But the mail keeps coming.
There are about five different names, and they all use different unit numbers, so it doesn't seem like a single erro typo.
There is not another "200 Sample Street" within 100 miles of here.
We haven't seen anyone fishing around in our mailbox on the doorbell cam.
None of the neighbors are getting this kind of mail.
The only thing I can think of are that someone needed a physical address (like for insurance), and made one up. But that would only explain one instance.
I've heard squatters try to have mail sent to help establish a claim on a property, but there's nobody camped in our yard. 😉.
Is there something we're missing here?
Thanks for any ideas/input.
I was the one who broke it off. We were almost 4 months in. It was long distance and as the relationship progressed i realized we don’t have the same plans for the future (he wants kids and I don’t, he wants to live in one place and i want to live in another, etc). I decided to end it when I noticed myself actually considering dating another person. I know I’m horrible for it, but I did it over text. He had always been very anxious about our relationship possibly ending somehow before so i was bracing myself for a big reaction. He ended up being pretty nonchalant about it. It’s been about 6 days now, and I didn’t feel anything until now. I feel so horrible for doing that to him and I’ve been sobbing all day. I asked to still be friends and he responded with a dry yes. Which was a punch in the gut since he’s never been a dry replier. I know I sound bad because I’m the one who did it and everything and he has every right to be mad at me but it still hurts and I really miss talking to him (as a friend). I didn’t expect to be this upset since we had only met IRL twice but idk. It feels like pure agony I haven’t been this sad since my family member passed.
If you’re both adults, why would anybody else give a crap why wouldn’t other family members give a crap if you have a relationship and over the years SA your father on numerous occasions, getting him drunk, sleeping in the same bed, nobody would ever understand, is it really r@ pe if you like it I don’t think so. 20 nos and a yes is still yes. Yes it can be awkward it would be extremely weird but of course I would never confess that to him when he does confined mean, you gotta play dumb, and say you don’t remember nothing, having a disability use the card if you have to.
Have a business trip coming up in Springdale next week and looking for good, clean hotels especially no bed bugs. (Family member is on PD dialysis). Also need them to be handicap accessible like showers with grab bars (preferably a shower bench/chair but I’m sure that’s stretching it). Good wifi too. Will be there 5 nights so I’m sure it won’t be cheap but preferably under $700.
I used to use chrome vpn extentions but since last week the stopped working, i've tried downloading multiple different ones from the webstore and all of them either don't connect or if they do when I try to search for anything on chrome even if I just type a random letter and search, it will say the page isn't available. I thought it was my wifi at first so i downloaded a free vpn on a family members laptop and on my phone and they both work fine. only on my pc. does anyone know how to fix this?
I'm so sorry about the length of this post but I feel I need to get this off my chest.
I'm almost 38 weeks along (37 weeks 5 days) and my pregnancy is labeled high risk due to a birth defect I have in my uterus that has caused multiple miscarriages. I am unsure if my previous loses have made me more sensitive or if this all is something other pregnant women would have a problem with also.
I feel like I started having negative thoughts towards my mum not supporting me through my pregnancy when she yelled at me and called me selfish when my doctor told me I had to go on bedrest. I was in bedrest for about the first 7 months of my pregnancy. Apparently, my mum does not believe in bedrest or high risk pregnancies (she said this). She has also said some pretty horrible stuff to me about social services taking my baby away because my apartment was a bit of a mess due to me having no help while on bedrest.
Honestly, the negative feelings did get worse when my mum told me I could not have a baby shower because she had a lot going on. I was willing to plan it myself and just needed her to go and look at a venue for me but she refused, then went and told everyone I was not having one. She also got mad at me for making a baby registry, saying she has never heard of a registry for a baby before. My SIL had one for her oldest and we both bought things off it for her.
I have been really sad about not getting a baby shower, so I try not to think about it. My gender reveal was also a bust because nobody in my family wanted to come to it and I ended up doing it alone. My sister told me that the whole idea of a gender reveal was stupid anyway. I just wanted to celebrate getting far enough in my pregnancy to tell what gender my baby was. I have been struggling with depression since no one came to the gender reveal and it has only been getting worse. I'm excited about having my baby but I wish people would be more supportive.
On top of that no one has bought anything off the baby registry, except for my dad. I'm really thankful for my dad as he has been helping me a lot even though he lives the farthest away from me. I know gifts are not really important, but I cannot help but to think about the family members who have had babies in past years and how many gifts and all the support they got from everyone in the family. I feel like my own mum was more excited for my SIL's pregnancies than mine.
Yesterday while out with my mum and sister the topic of me giving birth came up. When I first got pregnant my mum was constantly insisting that my sister should be going to my parenting classes with me and should be at the hospital with me, I always told her that wasn't happening when she brought it up.
For some background, my sister is about 20 years older than I am and cannot have children of her own. She has also always been quite mean to me and therefore we do not have the best relationship at all. Luckily for me, she has since moved 6+ hours away from where I am and my mum has stopped suggesting she go to my parenting classes and the hospital when I give birth.
Now my mum is insisting on being there herself. I'm not a big fan of that at all and on top of that she cannot drive herself, meaning my aunt would have to drive her to the hospital. I am dead set on my aunt not being there at all since she does not respect boundaries and is prone to throwing fits when she does not get her way. I do not get why my mum wants to be there (she has never been there for me for anything else) and am thinking about not telling her until after the baby is born, but I think that will really upset her. I kind of don't care at this point though and I'm so confused on why she would want to be there after everything she has said to me during my pregnancy.
I am having my dad take me to the hospital when it is time because he will be staying with me before the baby is born. He has been more understanding than my own mum through everything, especially my pregnancy. Everything that's happened has made me not want anyone to meet my baby except for my dad and some people from his side of the family.
At this point I do not care about having support after my baby is born because I feel like my entire pregnancy has been lonely and unsupported (except for my dad). So would it be justified to not tell my mother that my baby was born until after? And would it be rude to tell people to not come and visit me?
We didn't have internet and one of my family members gave me a USB to install this game they got free online that could be played offline.
It must have been around 2008 or later. The player had to plant fruits and vegetables and tend to them. I specifically remember growing pineapples and those being worth a lot.
I've peeked around but couldn't find a post like this. so: Soon it'll be a year since I've came out. I told my mom first, who told my dad. And who apparently told some other family members lol..The only one I've talked to extensively about it is my mom though.
My mom and sisters refer to me by my preferred pronouns and name (He/they). My mom isn't consistent and may slip on conversations with others but I can tell she's trying. My dad..It doesn't feel like he's trying at all. Or if he even remebers. My name happens to be what my nickname was before so that's fine, but I'm still always "she" and his "daughter". Being my dad and all I'm too nervous to correct him as idk if he'd take it well.
Anyone else in my family (even those my mom apparently told) Still call me "she" and my legal name. My mom doesn't correct them..And neither do I. Because I have no idea what exactly she told them and coming out again during a family event with 20+ people around is my worst nightmare.
My mom didn't fight me about it at all when I came out but she can be weird about some things..? Recently when going through some pictures from a few years back she points to one and goes "See? You used to wear little skirts 😆", Or when I was confused about what to wear to an event she goes "What about a cute pink frilly dress 😏" I don't feel she's genuinely suggesting anything but it still makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.
I've also been open about wanting to start T (but can't atm do to financials) but she's a bit weird about that too and I have to change the topic everytime.. Sometimes she'll just randomly ask "So..What do you think the hormones or whatever are going to do?" To which I list the effects and she latches onto one thing that could be "solved" without T.
Once again I don't want to think she feels this way..But sometimes I feel like she views me as her "confused butch daughter", as even when I came out as Bi when I was a teen she had trouble understanding I like multiple genders. Not knowing what she told everyone else exactly makes me nervous they feel that way too. My mom said they just said "Happy child happy life" and that she was glad she "didn't have to fight anyone" but idk..I'm just really worried the day my transness becomes "unavoidable" or I speak up more things will get really tense. Maybe it's just my anxiety.
My apologies for the long post. Just don't have anywhere else to get this off my chest.
My ex (45M) and I (43F) have been separated for almost 4 years, I filed but we are still legally married. I haven’t gone through with it because I’m too convinced that the tax, financial, insurance and medical benefits are worth keeping our marriage license intact. Also the health stuff if there were to be any horrible hospital incidents. We are still good friends and coparents. Kids are 13 and 12 yr old twins. He doesn’t have an income so I pay for everything. We have a financial and long term agreement worked out. We still file taxes together (also better). In theory I ‘should’ complete the paperwork, but given all the drawbacks of finalizing, I have no incentive to do so.
Can someone convince me I should just rip the bandaid off? Is it really worth giving up the benefits that married people get to enjoy? Or just stay the course as long as it’s working for us?
There is no way we are getting back together. Neither of us want to be in a romantic relationship anymore. That ship sailed a long time ago. I have no interest in explaining all of this to friends and family so they all think we officially divorced years ago.
I bought land from a family member and have multiple family members that live on a large amount of land. We love the freedom that it offers, but I have 1 family member that shows up unannounced pretty frequently. He is always rude and gives unsolicited advice. He has said things that I am having a hard time getting over about my adult son. He recently committed an act that I feel is unforgivable, but my spouse doesn't agree that it was even an offense at all. My cousin showed up to my home while my son and his girlfriend were staying with us. My son was at work, we were in town(about 30 minutes away) and my sons girlfriend (20 yo F) was home alone. She was alone and he knew no one but her was home. He stayed for about an hour before we found out he was here and came back home immediately. She later said that he said some inappropriate things to her. I'm furious he was even here cause that alone is not right. He's married and in his late 50's. My husband sees nothing wrong with it. Now he shows up unannounced and I refuse to entertain him or even come out of my room. AITA for setting boundaries? I have no desire for any unexpected guests but especially not when they continually step over every single boundary.
The single best thing you can do with a new puppy is teach them to sit for their food until you give them the "ok" to move.
Not only are you already teaching them their first two commands, sit and ok (as a release word), but more importantly, they're learning how to learn. They're learning that you're the boss, that commands are commands and not suggestions, and that listening to you leads to rewards. They're learning to be a respectful citizen of your home, a member of your family, a life partner and best friend and not just a wild animal that lives in your house eating your food and acting like a lunatic.
They're learning that being a hyperactive little psychopath gets them nothing, while being calm, still, and attentive in the face of temptation -- whether that's food, attention, scritches, sniffing other dogs, chasing squirrels, etc. -- is the actual way to get what they want. This discipline goes far beyond meal time; you're setting the foundation for your partnership and how you communicate and interact with each other for the next decade or more. Your pup is genetically hardwired to want to please you, but they don't automatically know how. You have to activate and mold this instinct. This is where you start teaching them.
It should also go without saying that having a dog that will reliably sit and stay immediately on command is both a safety feature for them and a potential headache/heartbreak saver for you as well.
You can start this almost immediately after they come home with you -- I give them a week or so to get over the shock and adjust to their new surroundings but a 9 or 10 week old can absolutely learn this in less than a week, and from there you can increase the timing to really teach them steadiness.
