Ok I think Star Trek Discovery from season 3 onwards is in alternate timeline from Star Trek Picard and most of trek cannon.
For the simple reason at the end of Picard Season 2 the Jurati Borg Collective asked for provisional Federation Membership, I could see this alliance in time between the Jurati Collective and Federation resulting in Federation getting Borg Transwarps tech and more but we see none of that in Discovery Season 3 onwards.
Of course that just me theory, but when you combine it with all the time travel, temporal cold war and temporal wars is really possible, especially when you consider Star Trek 2009.

Hey all! I'm working on a Star Wars ttrpg campaign, that would include visiting a planet every session or two. I don't want to use popular worlds though, but ones, that are kinda obscure, but still have interesting things going on. Can you help me with listing some of them you found memorable or inspiring? I'm mainly aiming for a pre-prequel sort of atmosphere, and originally only wanted to use locations depicted in and up to the Zahn trilogy (maybe Dark Empire and Tales), like the comic strips or the marvel comics, but also, I'm open to using newer sources as well. Also, at the beginning of the campaign, I'd have my players be small-time bounty hunters and smugglers, with maybe the prospect of becoming Jedi later down the line, so planets with that space western, Hutt-infested, organised crime or backwater vibe are much appreciated.

I'm finally catching up on Star Wars content, watched the Tales of the Jedi (which should probably be called Tales of Dooku and Ahsoka since half are focused on the former and half the latter) and this Inquisitor shows up in the last one. I got into an argument with some people on StarWars, pretty much they tried to defend some of the new stuff that Disney put out by saying it was made for kids (kids content should still be good but I digress), stuff like Ahsoka. I argued that Ahsoka was for Rebels fans as most of the context for Ahsoka is understood by watching Rebels. Rebels was released in 2014, so the people who watched it growing up are most likely in their or late teens 20s and so Ahsoka it’s not primarily for kids. I argued that since Rebels finished around six years ago, the people most likely to watch Ahsoka are people who already watched Rebels. Since Ahsoka is a new show I doubt anyone would go back and rewatch an entirely different show to understand the new one in front of them, so it wouldn’t be targeted for kids/newer fans, am I wrong?
