Look, I'm not a huge Hip-Hop head but I've been hooked by this beef since Like That came out. Back then, when MMTBS was released my love to Hip-Hop got reignited after being left unimpressed by most other contemporary rap artists. I don't fuck with all that bling bling, booze and bitches talk but MMTBS threw me back to the time MBDTF came out (I was like 14 and bumping Kanye, Kid Cudi, Black Eyed Peas, Outkast) so I naturally became a Kdot fan (shame on me on me for not listening to his discography earlier).
I still believe he is the best rapper of our time. Great lyricist, great flow, very versatile. I believe he won the beef by proving he is a rapper better than Drake. But what did it cost?
I've seen Kdots win being called pyrrhic. After looking up the definition I can see why. Was it really necessary to destroy Drake in this fashion? People say he will be fine, keep a large fanbase, not face being cancelled big time but how I see it he got absolutely assasinated by Kdot saying Drake is a sick man with sick thoughts, a pedophile that should die. Euphoria is a perfect disstrack: full of wordplays, display of writing skills, symbolic but not too vague, direct but with a warning undertone saying "don't come closer". MTG is Kenny crashing out. It's a psychoanalytical portrait of Drakes family with very very wild accusations and a strong effect on ones emotions upon listening. Not Like Us is just Kdot dancing on Drakes grave.
What does Kenny actually know tho? I ask this because I won't rule out he only knows as much as we do: Hollywood gossip, Millie Bobby Brown, Bakas case...maybe some additional insider information of Drakes hook up behavior. But not much! I strongly assume tho he knows that 1) music is very powerful and can move mountains 2) - if not before already - after his last album he is seen as an honest soul, introspective, truth seeking with almost prophetic attributes 3) Art can allow itself to be stretching or even deceiving truth. Being a product of phantasy is somewhat arts nature as opposed to say a police protocol.
With these points in mind Kdot should have known shit will go down after releasing the tracks. He should have known lots of people take him serious and will believe him. He should have known we want paper for what he says because it's about children and justice. But how can we believe him if all we have is the 17yo fan, the Millie Bobby Brown story, blind items and a bunch of wild theories? I want to use this moment to call out everyone taking theories for granted and not thinking critically. It's our duty to never rule out the possibility of assumptions being wrong and a lot of people here don't seem to care. Trust me when I say I spent way too much time investigating and I've seen a lot. I can believe Drake luring girls over Tinder. I can believe he has shady companys. But not everything is connected and I will also say for me it's a big difference if he has consensual sex with teens that he lured by being this impressive famous rapper or if he literally abused prebuscent children (or dogs).
I'm trying to find the point here but I guess what I want to ask you guys is if you think Kdot knows more than we do or if he let his phantasy create the most damning and vile story about drake for the artistic goal of making the most impactful disstrack possible? Cuz if it's the second option...I don't know...you can't just call someone a children trafficking pedophile when you don't exactly know that AND also incorporate so much talk about speaking truth, following morals being always faithful. I say that because horrible things really happen to people that get abused and to use this fact to destroy someones reputation doesn't sit right with me.
Kdot will have to answer what he really knows at one point. Before that I'm somewhat disturbed in my positive perception of him. He doesn't play the social media game like Drake does but this mofo can't tell me he couldn't anticipate how everyone will try to find evidence for his claims.
Kendrick is not perfect he knows that and doesn't claim to be. But it would only be right to see Drakes facettes too. He is not the devil. I'm sure he is not a thoroughly evil person. He has regrets and pain too. You could probably hang with him at times. He might be awful at times but alright at other times. Like everyone. I study psychology so I try to be fair and critical and I gotta say Drakes alleged psychopath intuition and narcissism doesn't seem that much out of the ordinary. I've seen worse.

 | St. Barth Vanille West Indies- Fluffy, semi sweet, slightly ooey gooey marshmallow-y and warm edible vanilla. Reminds me of Indult tihota but less alcohol and Vanitas Profumum Roma but less sweet. It's really nice and has an addictive quality to it but I don't think I need to budget for this any time soon. Maybe during the holidays I might grab a decant but probably thats it. I’m 18. My favorite genre is rap as I’ve grown up on it. But I also listen to R&B, nu metal, death metal, black metal, alternative rock, and EDM. The first R&B song I listened to was Crazy In Love by Beyoncé in my mom’s car when I was 7 (she is a huge fan of her and Destiny’s Child). I didn’t really care too much for the song though. Then when I was 13 I discovered Because Of You by Ne-Yo after hearing it on a YouTube video. Then I discovered Birthday Sex by Jeremih and Don’t by Bryson Tiller. These were the only R&B songs I knew, and Don’t really leans towards rap, which is why I fucked with it like that.
Then last year, I listened to Jeremih’s full self titled album and was really fucking with it. I had some of the songs on repeat and would play them in between the trap songs I typically listen to. Then I discovered more Ne-Yo, as well as acts like Babyface, Eamon, and Usher.
I don’t really listen to 2020s R&B like SZA or Brent Faiyaz because it sounds too poppy to me, although lots of people I know like that shit. R&B overall is my 3rd favorite genre (nu metal is my 2nd favorite)

But then as I watched more M/Vs, I looked into more of the full and mini-albums, and soon, Between 1&2 was on its way. BDZ is arriving today (yea!). But wait, you're telling me that in the next two months, there's going to be a full album, Dive, plus Nayeon's second solo mini-album...?
It's seriously overwhelming -- in a good way, of course. Like the title says, it's like being a starving person who comes across an all-you-can-eat-buffet. Everything seems awesome, but there's only so much time/appettite.
My favorite songs so far...
"Scientist": I gather this is something of a polarizing title track, but the melody is so inviting, and the lyrics (going by the English sub on the M/V) capture -- as a male listener -- the way I used to wonder about the mysteries of the female mind. [I've been happily married long enough that now I have a reasonably accurate emulator in my mind about my wife, but I still remember being in my teens and twenties...]
"Queen of Hearts": I absolutely LOVE how Twice rocks out on this track! It outdoes Kelly Clarkson's "I Do Not Hook Up" or "Walk Away." I'd be so delighted if they put out more songs like this in the future.
"BDZ": The M/V caught my attention first, being like a short action/comedy movie, but the melody is enthralling, and I adore the "let's go" shouts in the main refrain. I'm also trying to learn a bit of Japanese, so now I have an excuse to keep playing this song over and over (much to the chagrin of my wife).
"The Feels": This was a really good choice as the first English single-release. It's energetic and fun, and it's adorable how Chaeyoung raps "connection" and "attraction."
Beyond those, I also like a lot "Talk That Talk," "Candy," "Espresso," "Icon," "Cruel," "What is Love?", "I Got You," and "Signal." And most of the rest of Formula of Love. And "Brave"...most of Between 1&2. Like I said, it's overwhelming!

We have been together for over 10 years. My partner has had stints before where he gets extremely interested in pursuing a hobby and wants it to become a paying career and loses interest after a few months. He has attempted to begin playing instruments, making music, and even begin a rapping career. I have been open to it because he's never had a long term hobby he's enjoyed and does not have many friends at the moment. in the last 6 months his recent extreme interest has become stand-up comedy and it has become his entire life. It is overwhelming and I'm not sure what to do as I feel it is taking priority over our relationship and taking over his life.
He has watched every podcast about comedy, every stand-up comedian, and any bit of media there is regarding the subject of stand-up comedy. When he wakes up, comedy podcasts turn on and he works remotely listening to them all day.
He has developed an interest in books (has never liked books) that stand-ups have written. He has purchased dozens of notebooks and will write his jokes over and over until he has a perfect set for his open mic that night. He takes things that I say and turns them into jokes. I think it's great that he is developing this passion and is so into it. Until I listened to one of his sets.
He jokes only about his life trauma. He goes up on stage with his eyes closed "to remember his set better" and will make jokes about his father dying of cancer and his mother dying of an overdose. His father did pass from cancer but his mother is still very much alive and has gotten greatly upset over these comments. When I try to talk to him about it, he tells me he's "taking on a character" on stage and that it isn't him. He has told me before that his mother dying would "be easier for him and for his set."
90% of his content is about his real life and 10% of it is overexaggerated or fabricated. He does not differentiate between what is real and what is "his character". He has made jokes about family members r*ping him in his sets as well and thinks it's funny. I am pained by how much none of this makes me laugh because I just don't believe trauma dumping to an audience with your eyes closed is funny at all. I want to support him having a hobby he's so into but he's so dead set on getting paid and "making it big", he doesn't realize that in the process of all of this he is slowly losing me and my interest because this has quickly and aggressively become his ENTIRE life.
I would be fully supportive if it didn't go to such extremes. He is seeking a psychiatrist and has told me repeatedly he wants to be put on XYZ medications to "help with his comedy". He has repeatedly said to me (and to his employer) that he wants to quit his full time job to pursue comedy. He goes to open mics 2-3X a week and does not get paid. He's been into this for roughly 6 months.
I have lost friends due to the nature of the jokes he tells, and many people thinking it is inappropriate and not funny. He has gotten into trouble at his job due to making jokes and mentioning his content in ab office setting. They did not condone discussion of these topics in an office space and he almost got fired for it.
We have tried to have conversations about this before and it ends in frustration because he thinks I do not support it because I don't find it funny. I saw someone ask why we never got a $B x Lil Peep collab in the comments of another post, so i figured i would share some lesser known info about why that never happened, and why it took 8 years for us to get another $B x Ghostemane track.
At one point in time Lil Peep & Ghostemane were in a group called Schemaposse, headed by J. Grxxn. Schema & G59 were tight, and they made multiple songs together. ($eppuku, Avant Garde II, Grayscale, Vices)
At this point, 2015, Peep & Ghoste were much less known than they are now, and were lesser known than even $B was then. Peep had been making music for maybe a year and a half at this point. Therefore $B kind of looked at him as a fan and a rookie, and felt like he wasnt ready for a collab yet.
At this time Peep got absolutely zero respect from the underground rap scene as a whole, because he was viewed as an emo sadboy and his sound was very new so it was pretty unpopular. (The same applies to ghostemane at the time, sans being ‘emo’) Peep still isnt widely respected in hip hop today, but most among the ‘underground’ can agree he’s a legend & pioneer.
So, fast forward to early 2016. The Boy$ made their first full length interview appearance on No Jumper, $outh $ide $uicide released and started to really catch on in the underground and on social media. Paris, Dead Batteries, and FTP were all on their way to multi-millions of views on Youtube.
Scrim had a conversation with Peep & Ghoste around this time, where he gave them the advice that J Grxxn was holding them back musically and they’d see more growth as individuals instead of a collective.
This caused a rift to form between scrim & J Grxxn because he felt as though scrim was trying to go behind his back, and snake him by destroying the group he built and getting into the ears of his artists, basically telling them that he’s dead weight and they’d be better off without him. (Which turned out to be true)
Ghoste & Peep, not wanting to be disloyal to the person who gave them their career, sided with J Grxxn at first, at one point causing ghoste to beef with g59.
Eventually, they both took $crim’s advice, and they went their seperate ways. Peep went hard into the collective GothBoiClique, and Ghoste went hard in his solo music, causing them to both start seeing success and a big spurt in popularity.
But the bad blood was still there, and we would never see a $B x Peep collab, and it would take another 8 years for $B & Ghostemane to collab on the Ying Yang Tapes, after their song $eppuku in 2015.
I believe that if Peep was still alive, we may have saw them collab. But at the time, i think there was still bad blood between all involved, and everyone was more focused on their own growth and careers.
Peep was always vocal about how much of an $B fan he was though. There’s an IG live somewhere out there where Scrim talks about this.
The last time scrim spoke on it, it sounded as though he had no issue with J. Grxxn, and that all of their problems were largely one sided.
As an aside: OmenXIII and the song ‘As the bridges Burn’ fit into this puzzle somewhere. But i couldnt find a good spot to insert that into the story, so maybe i’ll add a comment about that below.

Furthermore, regarding my looks - I have dark brown eyes, brown hair, pale white skin and I am 168 cm tall or short depending on how you look at it. I am quite muscular and seem to build muscle relatively easily (mesomorph body type) and i was told I would make a good swimmer, something I would like to learn sooner or later.
I'll talk a bit about my mental issues now, for circa 10 years I've been struggling with depression and, for about 7 or 8 years with OCD. This has made my life a living nightmare for most of my 20s and left me isolated in my room, and thus my social skills degraded, a lot. Currently I'm seeking therapy for OCD and the past 5 months I've been doing amazing progress and I can go around my place touching things without washing my hand for hours and yes if you're wondering, my OCD is contamination. I side not, if you try to convince me how irrational are these fears, don't tire yourself, I already know that. I am also interested in technology, pretty much anything computer related, hardware software you name it, I also know how to build and i talk talk about linux 24/7.
I am into video games as well, I play pretty much anything as long as it is not some sweaty try hard competitive stuff, although i do enjoy some counter strike tomfoolery. Besides that half-life is the greatest series ever, change my mind! Stardew valley and euro truck simulator 2 and don't starve together are some chill games I enjoy playing. But again, I am open to pretty much any video game and i game often, so would be nice if you game from time to time, although it is not a must.
When it comes to my music tastes, I enjoy folk/metal mostly, with some rock and rap (provided the rap lyrics are decent and meaningful and not full of swears words every 2 seconds), but I am also listen anything else as well, from techno, to pop and even kpop. My music tastes are as open as it gets :) I will let you know my favorite artists once we talk ;)
I wouldn't call myself as a sports person, but I do enjoy a walk, especially in the woods, the most relaxing thing that you can do in my opinion, especially if the weather is cloudy but not rainy :) I love animals, I am a dog person and although I don't have any pets right now due to current place not allowing pets, I really hope to change this as soon as possible and get a doggo. I like to tell myself that nature is my church, speaking of which I am agnostic, I don't care about religion and neither I care if you are religious or not, just please don't force your views onto me. We can talk about it though, as mature and good friends should be capable of doing so.
I am an introvert who enjoys doing extroverted things, especially going to concerts and hopefully one day do a tour of europe on a touring bike, one of my dreams since I was an early teenager. I also work out more and more, for now just home workout but I can already see the improvements and benefits, especially mental ones. As I said, I am introvert so I find it a bit harder to open up in a crowd, I much rather prefer one on one conversations, I feel like I can open up more in those and they're more meaningful, usually.

Now a little bit about my hobbies, I am very interested in linguistics, and in my free time you will often find me reading about different languages and linguistic topics and concepts. I already speak 3 languages [you can probably guess one, but will you find out the other two? :)]. I am especially interested in Germanic languages, mainly Nordic languages, so if you're a speaker of one of those big big big plus!
I am also interested in technology, pretty much anything computer related, hardware software you name it, I also know how to build and i talk talk about linux 24/7.
I am into video games as well, I play pretty much anything as long as it is not some sweaty try hard competitive stuff, although i do enjoy some counter strike tomfoolery. Besides that half-life is the greatest series ever, change my mind! Stardew valley and euro truck simulator 2 and don't starve together are some chill games I enjoy playing. But again, I am open to pretty much any video game and i game often, so would be nice if you game from time to time, although it is not a must.
When it comes to my music tastes, I enjoy folk/metal mostly, with some rock and rap (provided the rap lyrics are decent and meaningful and not full of swears words every 2 seconds), but I am also listen anything else as well, from techno, to pop and even kpop. My music tastes are as open as it gets :) I will let you know my favorite artists once we talk ;)
I wouldn't call myself as a sports person, but I do enjoy a walk, especially in the woods, the most relaxing thing that you can do in my opinion, especially if the weather is cloudy but not rainy :) I love animals, I am a dog person and although I don't have any pets right now due to current place not allowing pets, I really hope to change this as soon as possible and get a doggo. I like to tell myself that nature is my church, speaking of which I am agnostic, I don't care about religion and neither I care if you are religious or not, just please don't force your views onto me. We can talk about it though, as mature and good friends should be capable of doing so.
I am an introvert who enjoys doing extroverted things, especially going to concerts and hopefully one day do a tour of europe on a touring bike, one of my dreams since I was an early teenager. I also work out more and more, for now just home workout but I can already see the improvements and benefits, especially mental ones. As I said, I am introvert so I find it a bit harder to open up in a crowd, I much rather prefer one on one conversations, I feel like I can open up more in those and they're more meaningful, usually.
I'm not sure what else to write.... I'm going to give this another try though contemplating if I really should I am not sure what will happen and to be quite honest with you it scares me and at the same time it makes me excited cause I might meet someone special.

Hey there, I am a 28 year old dude from Europe, I would like to make a deep and meaningful friendship with someone or some people, I am in a stage in my life where I feel like I really need to make some deeper connection with someone, because for once it feels like I am getting my life together piece by piece and the sad reality is that no one is here for me to see and notice due to certain things which I will describe below I find it very hard to meet / make new friends in real life.
So a little bit about myself, I don't feel comfortable sharing selfies to strangers, it will take me some time for me to build a connection and trust you before we exchange selfies / do video calls (voice calls are fine). Why is that you may ask? Because I am short sighted and cross eyed - as a teenager and even in my early adult life people looked odd / laughed about it, especially online, so I hope you understand why I'm conscious when it comes to sharing selfies, I really appreciate it if you understand and please don;t get me wrong I would love our friendship to get to a point where we can share selfies and do video calls. Just please understand that it will most likely take me some time due to past traumas.
Furthermore, regarding my looks - I have dark brown eyes, brown hair, pale white skin and I am 168 cm tall or short depending on how you look at it. I am quite muscular and seem to build muscle relatively easily (mesomorph body type) and i was told I would make a good swimmer, something I would like to learn sooner or later.
I'll talk a bit about my mental issues now, for circa 10 years I've been struggling with depression and, for about 7 or 8 years with OCD. This has made my life a living nightmare for most of my 20s and left me isolated in my room, and thus my social skills degraded, a lot. Currently I'm seeking therapy for OCD and the past 5 months I've been doing amazing progress and I can go around my place touching things without washing my hand for hours and yes if you're wondering, my OCD is contamination. I side not, if you try to convince me how irrational are these fears, don't tire yourself, I already know that. Also, if you're a stranger and you pull a one liner OCD joke you will be most likely ignored, I am fine with OCD jokes provided we know each other already and there is some sort of friendship going on.
