I'm a fairly new fan to Sweeney Todd and I'd love to see older videos of other shows and revivals to see how they all differ. I've already seen this revival since I saw Aaron and Sutton live and I wanted to delve more into this musical. I know there's a recording of George Hearn on Youtube but it's very incomplete and doesn't show much. Anyways I'd appreciate any help so feel free to dm me as well. thanks!

In March, I took a quick trip to NYC and tested out all the cheaper ways to buy tickets with much success! Saw Kimberly Akimbo (TDF), Spamalot (lottery), Enemy of the People (standing room ticket by walking up to the box office the morning of), Sweeney Todd (rush) and Tommy (lottery). The cast album of Stereophonic has solidified my need to see it when I go out again the last week of June. Do you folks think I need to buy tickets before I go? The grosses have not been wonderful so far, but it looks like they’re playing to pretty full houses. So far, I’ve bought tickets for the Encores Titanic, Merrily, and the Off-Broadway Cats.

Does anyone know if there is anything like a super cut of Wicked or Sweeney Todd, like beetlejuice has? I only read someone talking about a Wicked one but I would not know where to look. Also if anyone knows of any masters that has the new cabaret with Eddie redmayne? I have an April 1 performance but I’m looking for slightly better quality ones or just other performances since then. - While Doctor Doom is obviously the F4’s biggest villain, no Outsiders villain hold the same level (yeah, I don’t think Tobias Whale is a great fit). So I’m thinking Ra’s al Ghul perhaps?
- speaking of Ra’s, for Talia I was thinking Nakia (comics Nakia is different from MCU Nakia for anyone unaware)

I don’t know if any of the rest of you are musical theater fans, but I am, and I’d love to see A Separate Peace as a musical. I feel like it could really represent Gene’s inner thoughts and monologues well, and would be a lot more successful than either of the movies were at that.
Apparently there was one written, by Warren Leight and Todd Almond, but it only had a reading that I can tell and no actual performances, I think? It’s hard to find out anything about it. I’d give anything to hear those songs.
