So i was walking my leashed dog at the park, she's 1yo and she's quite shy around other dogs. I was approaching the path near the dog park and saw 3 dogs inside and thought it was a good opportunity to stop on a bench near by with my dog, tell her to sit and give her some treat just for observing the dogs inside the park. This lady that claims to be a dog trainer(she was with the dogs and with another guy which ig is the owner of one of the dogs) starts telling me how I should not have done that (I still don't know what exactly I did, since I just sat on a bench outside the dog park w my dog), and that I don't know her dogs and they could be reactive and traumatized my dog. At this point I got kinda pissed bc 1. you shouldn't be in a dog park w reactive dogs. 2. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! I did not approach her dogs, nor did my dog, I did not enter the dog park so... I started telling her all this, and that's when she dropped the "I'm a dog trainer, you should listen instead of being offended" at this point I just laughed and left, but like... wth... am I in the wrong here??
Additional info that might be relevant: it was smth like 10 pm. The dog inside were all dangerous breeds according to my countries law. My dog did approach the fence very slowly and calmly just to smell, and I recalled her in less then 20 seconds (she was on a long leash and since she was approaching in a very calm manner I let her just smell on the fence for a brief moment, the other dogs were not near the fence).

So Im a fairly new landlord (35M) got a good deal on a property with 4 units on after moving into a tent for four months to help save for it. Now we been here about three years the tenants I inherited from the sale where great but they sadly passed away on a car crash. So after spending more than I can afford on renovations the new family moves in. First they keep on wanting to change the Depost agreement we altered out agreement twice and then still they came and told us they will pay the last of the Deposit when the have the money as it is their money anyway and does not affect us. I was like ,the F*cK it does affect us, so I said no that's not how it works.
If you feel that works for you, then great but not for us and it does not put allot of confidence in you as a tenant if you already cant pay what you agreed to. So This was a whatsapp conversation I think I sent the last part as a voice note. Next I have the guy (45M) saying I will not talk to his wife like that yada yada I said how many times must I talk politely before butting my foot down? Anyway I was able to de escilate it and we went on our business as they then paid the agreed final depost.
Fastwordard a few months. The Toilet pipe of their unit and the small one below is block they are on the same septic. I and. my care taker ended up digging up and unblocking it but low be hold TAMPONS came out. So some one had been flushing and it cause the block.. I address the lady in the smaller unit but she was only there for like a week and the pipe had been blocked pretty bad. So I asked my wife to message the tenants and say the pipe is blocked do to tampons they must not flush those things down the loo. The lady replied "Oh Ok" and That made me think well it was clreary them..
We fixed everything up and cleaned up. Later that night the tenant came down to discuss using my internet that they also agreed and did not pay for so I disconnected them. I mention to him that we unblocked the pipes and it was tampons if it happens again it will be at the cost of you guys as Im not digging through that shit again. Anyway this guy looses it getting in my face "AM I SAYING it WAS THEM" and the more I tell the guy relax let me finish he goes own again you wont speak to me like that and accuse US. When I was saying I hey I had a shit day dining through your SHIT next time its on you and Im the asshole! How do I deal with this tenant Would you Renew?

So for starters my best friend from kindergarten is mad at me. 19 years of friendship.
They recently started “ghosting me” (ignoring my messages/phone calls) this isn’t nothing out of the usual as she does have a mental disorder (BPD) we call it their “going rouge” episodes so I didn’t think much of it. They usually snap out of it within a month or so. Well it was well over 6 months and they’ve been active on fb, snap, and everything else. Ignoring my meme tags. That’s never been like them before. So I messaged and asked if they were seriously ok, and if I did something to make them mad… well I got a long message…
They said there was 2 main reasons why they weren’t talking to me anymore.
They said I was “acting better” than them bc I told them my car was 30,000 dollars more than theirs… just wait here me out.. they got a car that was a fraction of the cost of mine (nothing wrong with that at all) but they were crying to me on the phone when it had broke down and said they thought maybe it was a bad decision. I tried to reassure them that just because it may break down it’s cheaper to fix than buying a new one. As they claim they don’t want a huge car payment.
A brief explanation my car was 30,000 and it has had almost 9,000 dollars of warranty work done. (Thank god for extended warranties) My car has been in the shop more than I had it.
As they was crying to me overthinking their decision I tried to reassure them that hey, all cars break down. “My car was 30,000 and broke down so many times at least you will have way less than that put into your car after you get it fixed. (Their car needed a new head gasket). They claim I was trying to make it seem like mine was more expensive than theirs
I’m not saying this to be mean at all because I truly have tried to work with them with their diagnosis. But All our lives they’ve always made everything a competition. They’ve lived with a narcissist and their parent was diagnosed with it.
Their second reason to “ghost me” was recently they and their partner were looking at buying a house. The house next to me became up for sale. We both thought it would be a perfect idea. (Not knowing the price) They wanted me to ask the realtor how much they wanted for it. Come to find out it’s over quarter of a million dollar house. With 40+ acres. They advised me both of their credit aren’t the greatest and asked if I could put my name on the loan with them as my credit is almost near perfect and If I could help them with a down payment. (They know I have a good chunck saved up for when I buy a home)
I told them I was not comfortable doing it as I don’t even have my own home yet, and when I do go to buy my home it will show I already own a home. (Their home) I advised them that getting a mortgage is harder than just going to a bank and getting approved for an absurd amount as the average houses in our area go for 60-90k (we live in a very small run down town) they are both just starting out, no kids and this house is a 4 bedroom 3 bath house. I told them I don’t know if the bank would even qualify all 3 of us combined.
I make 40,000 a year. 14 an hour. I work OVERTIME. Almost 70 hours a week. 66 hours regularly. More if I get called in on call.. I am single and asexual (a little tmi but it matters here) I do not plan on having a partner in the future. So I will be a one income person. So I need to save up as much as I can now so I will be able to afford my mortgage with a good down payment when time comes. Their significant other makes 15+ and they make 14+ an hour. More than double what I make, they both live with their parents with hardly any bills… (some but not to the point they shouldn’t be able to save) I have bills, car payment, drive a lot for work I spend a lot in gas and pay rent. Neither of them have major bills.
They’re seriously mad at me for telling them I can’t risk not being able to afford to live comfortably. I can’t take that risk. We grew up and still live in the 5th poorest county in our state. We all got lucky to get good jobs as most around here are minimum wage jobs. I seriously do not want to grow up in poverty like we did growing up. It may sound silly but my goal in life is to own my own home and be somewhat financially stable and not have to live off the government to survive as all 3 of us had to do growing up. That is my ONLY goal in life.
In my closing statement I really love them to death. We literally grew up together. Our families are so bonded we are all a family. It hurts me they are not talking to me because “I made my self look better than them” and “I made it seem like they won’t go anywhere in life” I’ve NEVER thought that at all in my life. I AM their biggest supporter. We see our selves siblings. I’m hoping this is just something we can get over.
So am I the asshole for trying to comfort them letting them know even if they fix their car it’s still the best route as all cars can have major break downs like mine, and for telling them no for putting my name on a mortgage that wouldn’t even be my home?

I am not sure if this is the right area to post my question. But I have recently been in contact by email from a lady that works in the Clerks and Masters office about property tax delinquency. The only problem is I have paid my taxes and have proof of payment both from my card statement and a receipt in my email after making the payment. She informed me that the house was going to a tax sale. This all seems sketchy and I was unaware that it went to court back in March as I do not live in Chattanooga, the house was purchased back in 2020 as an investment. But has only been one of my worst financial nightmares. Now I fear that it has gone too far for this to be cleared up without legal help. Any help or suggestions would be uch appreciated.

For warning, this was the second customer of the morning. We open at 8am & had no idea our ice machine was off for some reason. Well I was doing money and my coworker was taking care of her and she got a medium cup. I walked around to grab the rest of the deposit and she was like y’all are out of ice I’ll just get some tea. I said okay well you can grab a bottle if you want. I assumed that was the end of that but then when I walked back up she was just holding her cup up staring at me. And I said if you want to grab a bottle you can. Then she stormed up to the register she was like you need to change your attitude. You have an attitude problem. (I also was trying to get to the bank before they closed it was a Saturday) and I just walked off because I can be quick to cuss a bitch out. My coworker came up at the best moment and saw everything and she was like we’re out of ice. Of course the lady was like oh well I guess I can just get a bottle.
Also even when I get to turning it on doesn’t mean the ice is going to be ready in one damn minute. So take your bottle or I’ll refund your drink.
Edit: I know I can handle things better, but I just removed myself bc lady with the sunglasses on in the store at 8:30am coming at me is not going to get the best response from me. But I gave her a solution and she was just dumb. Like dude do you have an ice maker at home. It does take more than 30 secs.

My son loves baths he doesn’t cry or fuss at all but boy when he gets in there he just kicks his feet the whole time 😂 & he tries to slide down in the water this is what worry’s me bc I’ll be washing his hair or his feet and he’ll be so excited that he’ll start sliding down his bath tub has the net thingy on it to help him elevate but he’s found out that his legs can go off on the sides and put them in the water lol I’ve tried to look for a bath that has a buckle to buckle him in but can’t find one lol y’all ladies have any recommendations on new baths that’s been doing your little ones good?

Hi all!! I recently inherited a roughly 30x40 foot greenhouse!! I’m still considering what to put in. Rather than filling it with a bunch of plants, I want to try to turn it into a miniature butterfly garden! I know my must haves so far are dwarf fugi apples, hydrangeas, and some kind of climbing, thronless rose. I plan to grow maintaining a 7-8 zone in my greenhouse and all these plants (as far as my research has gone) do very well in that area and with their different idea sun conditions, they seem to compliment each other well. I’m pretty much game for any other suggestions you might have! My favorite colors are blue, pink, red, and purple! Not a huge fan of orange, and yellow.
Now here’s the fun part. I really want butterflies in my garden (I know they aren’t the best pollinators out there, but what they miss on, I’ll be manually doing with a feather duster or just by tapping). And in my state, I can purchase eggs! How many butterflies might I need to maintain a steady population? I like any kind of butterfly, but painted ladies are native to my area and are abundant for sale on the internet. Thank you all for your help and suggestions :)

I'm in Vancouver, BC, and I'm just minding my own business at the end of my one day off in a week.
I got what seems to be a very common, recurring call for me, from the Telus Promotions Department. After passing off to a senior supervisor twice, the last guy got fed up with me and hung up at 13 minutes. He calls me back because he really wants that sale of the fake Telus Promotions Department deal. Got them for another 13 mins. I think I got 6 separate agents.
But then they just call me back for a third time? Sounds like a brand new agent so we start this whole ordeal again. He asks me in his most monotonous voice, "does this promotion sound great?" I said "it sounds mundane but the deal sounds excellent." Then he starts muttering that he'll be doing some unspeakable acts to my sister and other family members for two minutes before I realized what was happening; he was so quiet that I had no clue. He promptly hung up on me after 3 mins.
The guy who ended the second call calls me back to tell me he's so sorry, he's gonna fire this guy. After trying to verify my ever-changing email address, I get a little anxious to move on with my day, so I pretend I have to head into the office or something. So I tell them to call me back in 10 minutes at my office number, 1-888-495-8501, Canada Anti-Fraud Centre. I wasted another 9 mins of their time.
They called me back once again but it rang only once; I think I previously blocked this number. A few minutes later, I got a new call from another number. These guys really want to close this sale. Well, I'm still on the bus, while I'm doing laundry and starting dinner, so call me back in 5 when I get to the office. Guy claims he's off soon, so he'll call me back tomorrow. Somehow I managed to get his callback number out of it. 15 mins.
These guys called from six different numbers. 604-425-9542 - "John" 604-450-2626 604-395-3148 - "Alex" 604-420-8420 604-430-1305 (I think I previously blocked the number) 604-475-6433 - "Raman" spelled Roman.
The final caller gave me call-back number 866-855-9761, Roman.
I wasted 53 mins of their time. In my past experience, after they ends the call, that's the end of it; one guy has admitted defeat in the past, and acknowledged his dirty line of work. By far, this has been my most successful troll, and I think it's still going.
I've given them my scam call name, my fake birthdate of September 23, 1977, the address to a Hell's Angels bar that they can "ship to", and my email address that is a spelling nightmare. They keep asking for my driver's license number, but I tell them I don't drive, so they ask for my provincial ID but I claim there's no number.
Any suggestions on how I keep this going?

Story time. So my mom and I both sell and occasionally purchase on Mercari. The other day my mom was trying to purchase these super beautiful paperweights that she has been looking for. She sent an offer to the seller and he was trying to accept it but it automatically failed to go through. My mom was using her balance to purchase with so it was very strange. In the meantime someone else purchased the paperweights and mom was left disappointed. She called Mercari to see what the deal was. They automatically said well it must be your credit card declining. Mom says no I was using my Mercari sales money. She says well you must not have any money on there. Ummm well she has over $200 ?? They weren't helpful at all and made assumptions before even looking at her account. Fast forward to today she gets an offer from someone and she accepts it and it automatically fails. I thought well maybe the person's card is declining I've had that happen. My mom had a hunch that something was off. She calls Mercari and at first the girl gave all the same excuses. It must be the credit card account or lack of funds. My mom told her " lady I'm just not buying this. Why are these transactions failing so often for some people when they have money in their accounts ?" The lady finally admits well we have been having issues with people making purchases with their balance money it's sitewide and effecting people for a while now " well why not tell us this so we can use a different form of payment ? We missed out on items we had been searching for because of this. It just seems off. She says well we don't tell people when there is an issue until it's resolved. Wow. I think that's kinda crappy business. Sorry for the ramble. Anyone else have this happen ?

My original appt was this Thursday at 9am and I got a call after I text confirmed this appt and my psyc wouldn’t be in office that day but they had a 5:00pm today I could take and I did.
He was amazing and I decided to keep seeing him OOP (doesn’t take my insurance) bc I mesh so well with his personality and felt so safe in his presence to be completely honest and vulnerable. I couldn’t have prayed for a more suitable for me doctor.
The convo began as always and I replied to him confirming that I was there for an adhd assessment with “yeah, I’m getting ready to start college and want to get assessed NOW to make sure I do this right and the first go round bc of my age and IF I have adhd….” He stopped me there with “oh, you ABSOLUTELY have adhd.” The convo went on for the full hour with basics and past questions etc but he understood me within 30m of chit chat faster than any therapist ever did in even a year of visits, was like he could read my mind. A truly optimal outcome appt.
He recommends I get on meds 100% and will start those this or next week at my GP appt follow up and monthly appt with them and he sent the report to his office right then during my appt and I pick my hard copy up tomorrow from the psyc office (he tried to print it but office ladies were gone and it didn’t print right) So I told him I would just swing back by tomorrow.
Anywho. He also removed LOUDLY a prior BPD dx I got from a therapist several years ago and was visibly upset she had given me that dx bc it’s very clear I don’t have bpd and my adhd is very clear.
So, I’m officially diagnostically one of “us” now and I’m scared but excited to start meds. When you started meds, how did you know your dose was your dose? I’m so worried I’ll think too deep about it and not know which dose is the best dose or when to say enough or say more etc… all advice here is welcome!! TIA!
