I’m thinking of games for NES, SNES, GBA, GBC etc.. I’ve tried a couple different rpgs but I haven’t found any that stick. I particularly enjoyed The Minish Cap so any games like that would be appreciated.

So after spending a stupid amount of effort getting Panzer Commander running on my modern battlestation I decided to pull that old computer out of my garage and see if I could get it running.
Surprising it started up and booted into Windows (XP MCE). According to the system log, last boot was sometime in 2008.
Current hardware:

• Gigabyte GA-7ZXE motherboard (VIA KT-133A chipset).
• Athlon XP 2600+ 1.4ghz
• 256MB SDRAM
• SB LIVE! 5.1 Digital
• Radeon VE
• CD-R Drive
• DVD-ROM Drive

This was my rig when I went to college, running Windows Masochist Edition (ME) at the time. I want to use it as a Windows 98 gaming rig.
Replacement parts I've ordered:

• MSI KM2M Combo motherboard. The current one has about a half-dozen caps that are domed or leaking (and I remeber the KT133/SB Live cobo having a lot of stability issues). The KM2M has a 12v VRS. I looked in the MSI manual and my current RAM should be compatible.
  
• GeForce MX 400 to replace the Radeon VE
  
• Probably and IDE to SD adapter. The mechanical HDD is probably on borrowed time.
  

I'll more than likely need a new power supply, and I'm eyeing a new 4:3 LCD (though my current widescreen one has VGA in).
Is there anything else I've overlooked here? I'm targeting W98-era gaming. Maybe dual boot into XP, but primarily W98.
I'm on the fence about a Voodoo. They're stupid expensive and Dgvoodoo1 should work on that setup anyway.
For DOS gaming I'd rather build a new (older) rig.

I am 150 hours into the game and nearing the end about to face Gannon. Part of me doesn't want it to end but another part doesn't know where to go next after it's done. I kinda want to play some of the older games to experience them but I'm not sure we're to start. I've already played -botw -windwaker -minish cap -phantom hourglass -spirit tracks Looking for suggestions on what to play next from the series that I haven't experienced yet.

Hello,
I cannot find a resolution to this issue. Using Ubuntu 22.04.1. Suddenly unable to launch my flatpak apps. Every one gives the following error: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key. Example:

I cannot find a resolution to why I suddenly cannot access this token, which prevents the app from being able to access the display.
I've completely uninstalled the flatpak apps individually, as well as tried to uninstall flatpak completely, and reinstalled everything.
Below are some specs for my setup, but not sure what info is helpful here to troubleshoot this.

Every month I assemble the “Blankman List,” which includes a wide range of events happening in New York City for every day of the month. In the free highlights below, I focus in on one part of June in NYC: Pride—a month for honoring people who are LGBTQIA+. Queer Artists

Commemorating members of the LGBTQIA+ community can be as simple as engaging with their art. Of special note this June are the objects that belonged to Stephen Sondheim, the legendary (and gay) musical theater composer who passed away in 2021 and whose collection is on display before being sold at auction.

The T of LGBT

It’s impossible for me to ignore the deeply misguided social and political discourse that I sometimes hear around being transgender. There are plenty of events year-round that tell the stories and elevate the voices of people who are transgender and gender nonconforming. June is the perfect month to make time to hear them.

Dance and Celebrate

NYC is a premiere world destination to glitter and be gay. With its star-studded, blocks-wide festivities, a lot of the celebration around pride involves parades, parties, and dancing. The appeal of NYC runs deeper though; the city also offers plenty of more subdued safe spaces for people who like to dance, too.
