Hey everyone! For some context, I had gotten my cat from another family six years ago. She had already been spayed and declawed (front paws) by the previous family. In late February, she had broken her back leg pretty badly and had to have it amputated. Now she only has one hind leg and it is subsequently her only paw with claws. Before her amputation, she used to love sitting on the top-most part of her cat tower to look out the window to observe birds because she is strictly an inside animal for her safety. Because she was declawed and is missing a limb, she can't climb or jump very well and has fallen trying to get on her current cat tower twice. I'm worried she will hurt herself again if we don't find a more suitable option for her. My husband requested I look into a cat tower that will fit the height of our window she sits by (around 25" from ground to the bottom of our window) but I am having a lot of trouble finding ones that suit her specific needs and her inability to properly climb and jump.
Does anyone have a similar situation that they would be willing to share some cat toweplatform favorites or toss some tips my way? We live in a rental that prefers no nails or screws in the walls, but we are not concerned about costs and are willing to buy whatever necessary. She has already been through so much, I just want her to enjoy looking out at the world like she always has. Thanks in advance!
