2024.05.14 22:34 insignificant_potato Ex lost his mind when I broke up with him, gave away and destroyed a lot of my things and harassed my employees and friends trying to find me for days

Okay this is in Oklahoma and a lot happened but to summarize basically I've been with this man-child for 3 years almost, I ended up breaking it off after work on Monday (mainly) because of all the issues he has but just blatantly refuses to fix. Immediately after having the discussion he flipped out, throwing things across the room and screaming at me to leave. I stayed at a friend's house that night with nothing but my bag and the clothes I had worn to work. The next day I wake up to a phone call from him where he told me not to bother going back to the apartment because he already let his mom go through all of my things. He said he told her I wanted to fight her (never said that) so she's now determined to kick my ass, and that all of her gang-banger friends now have the addresses of all my family and friends to hurt them as well (this man never remembered my phone number, no way in hell he knows anyone's address lmao but still). I have a witness to this conversation. I also was informed by one of my employees that he had come with his mother to my workplace looking for me, apparently he had been swerving through the parking lot and was acting aggressive and intoxicated. We called law enforcement out and my friend and I went back to the apartment to find it completely destroyed, multiple holes in the walls, and a lot of my furniture was torn apart across the floor, as well several paintings and art pieces that held quite a bit of sentimental value to me. I also found that my medication, makeup, some art supplies, and my medical marijuana paraphernalia has all been taken. His cat was standing on the balcony, I don't know how long she had been outside for. He was not home at the time thankfully, and we had cops standing by while I grabbed some of my things and cared for the animals. Several hours later I was at a friend's apartment on the other side of the complex after submitting the Emergency Protective order petition, id parked far down the road just in case he drove by and surprise surprise he did, I remember hearing the familiar sound of his truck before his mom knocked on the door, I was thrown in a closet to hide and dial 911 while my friend stood at the door talking to them, and thankfully he got them to leave before the police arrived. I can't imagine what might have happened if I didn't move my car down the street. I stayed with a different friend that night for my own safety. The next day went by relatively uneventful until later in the night, we got the EPO and I immediately went and made a bunch of copies before returning to my friend's house on the other side of the complex. I had been in contact with his dad who was using the tracker on his phone to keep me updated on his location, and at this point he had returned to his adoptive parents house in Oklahoma City. At around 20:45 on Wednesday we decided to head back to my apartment to take care of the animals and we found the residence occupied by a couple that none of us recognized. We quickly ran back to my friend's place and called 911, Police came out and removed them from the premesis, and they came out with bags and bags of mine and his things. The woman seemed very confused and had a baby with her, she said that my ex had given her all of it, and that I could take any of my belongings. We went through all the bags and I found several small things of mine, she claims that she was told to stay there and watch over the apartment and to pack his things for him, we got him on the phone (through his dad, I have not spoken to him at all since Tuesday morning when he called me) and he told the officers they weren't supposed to be there and that his key was stolen, and he still sounded heavily intoxicated. Finally everyone left and we went inside to find that everything had been pretty well cleaned up, but the vast majority of my belongings were missing. Adding now my PC, monitor and keyboard, a sewing machine and many yards of fabrics and notions, a cake decorating kit, a small TV and fire stick, a sweing kit from my great-great-grandmother, and a diamond necklace my mother had gotten me for my 16th birthday to the list of missing things. My jewelry box was cleaned out, anything that seemed valuable is now gone, his dad swears up and down they're going to get it all back to me but I don't think that's going to happen. We also found a bread knife with a white-powder on one side of it sitting in the living room, we suspect it to be meth or cocaine (more than likely meth, taking his mother's history and his behavior into account) but when I tried to have it tested the officer told me to just throw it out because it would just be a waste of time. That was the last big event, the last few days have been comparatively quiet aside from getting the PO amended so I can leave the apartment, and his dad texting me, begging me to drop the PO (I won't) I really want to press charges, the court Hearing for the protective order is on the 23rd and I want to be prepared for it, and I have a police report that was approved on Sunday that I have no clue what to do with.
TLDR: Crazy ex gets drunk after breakup, harasses and threatens my entire support system, destroys a bunch of my things and gives away all my valuables to his mothers meth-addicted buddies, and now is hiding behind his dad's hoping I'll drop the protective order.
Do I need an attorney? If so how do I get one? I don't have money right now as I'm trying to get a new place to live, do I still have options? I have a paper trail and witnesses to everything, what is the next step I need to take? Can I press charges for things that happened before we broke up (SA/DV??)? His parents have money and I'm afraid they won't make this an easy fight, but this man has spent his entire adult life having everything handed to him, and walking all over everyone around him. I spent 3 years trying to "fix" him and I want to make sure that after this he won't go off and hurt another girl the same way he did me. Any help is appreciated!

2024.05.14 22:16 PupCaz Pint X Vesc Upgrades

I recently ordered a pint x and have been doing some research on possible upgrades and mods. I have came across vescing it but what is the best way to go? Avaspark and Flipsky? I think are two of the ones I have seen. Are there certain ones that only work with the pint and not x. Also what is the pint+v kit? Really looking just to get away from FM software and get a little more power.
I have seen on old posts that there was no battery conversion for the x but wondering if that has changed. Thank you!!

2024.05.14 21:46 United-Ad7788 What bike is easily obtainable and recommended for Bafang BBSHD conversion kit?

As of now I was following a recommendation on another thread for these specifications: Hardtail, mountain bike, hydraulic disk brakes >160mm, Shimano XT, SLX drive train, dropper post, and front fork >100mm. Not sure how ideal this is as I am a complete beginner to E-bikes.
A bike that caught my eye is “The Norton” Poseidon bike if I am buying new. My budget isn’t really limited other than not going too much over $2k since I’m anticipating for it to last a long time and save gas. As a beginner in the U.S. I just want to be pointed in a better direction of what bikes give an easier conversion with the BBSHD kit. Any advice is appreciated and I look forward to learning!

2024.05.14 21:35 lucidroachdreams Questions regarding new to me A.R.E. shell!

Questions regarding new to me A.R.E. shell!
Hey guys, long time lurker here.
I recently picked up a camper shell for my Ram 1500. Got it off of marketplace for a really hard to beat price, even despite not being a perfect fit. As you can see in the photos, the rear glass doesn't have the opportunity to close all the way. This is because of the tailgate lip that most Ram pickups come with now days. I've got about a half inch that I need in order to clear the gate so I can lock the shell at the T-handle.
So my question is - would there happen to be a shim kit that I can purchase or 2" wide solid rubber strip that I can ply between the rim of the bed, and the footprint of the shell? I'm primarily looking for something that I can cut in three pieces and adhere to the sides of the bed rim. With intent to seal the lower and upper halves, but also to give me that 1/2" lift so my rear glass can close properly. Perhaps something that has a high shore value that doesn't compress or squish when pressure is applied to it.
Furthermore, I'll be cleaning the bottom of the shell walls when I uninstall the cap to ensure I get a good seal. I also plan on sanding the outside down, and refinishing it to match the color of my truck. All the windows leak because a lack of silicone caulking. So, I've got an opportunity to finish a window job as well. That means that I might need some recommendations for sealant products that adhere to finished fiberglass. I've seen the GeoCel brand and a few marine products thrown around on forums, but I'd like to get some tertiary words before committing. Would any of you have any suggestions related to this part of the job as well?
I've also got plans to replace both mesh screens on the inside of the sliding windows, as they've got a few tears in them. I've attached a photo of the serial on the inside of the shell so I can narrow down a reputable and hopefully cheap remedy to this issue.
Let me know what you guys think! I know I'm in for a long ass project, but I'm excited to start building my camper out so I can get on the road soon. Thanks a ton!

2024.05.14 21:13 66WC what if we use ATK% rope

This is not an idea to how to untie firefly from HMC or ruan mei, in fact they are very much needed, but this would allow us to build crit body piece. innately she she can have 97.3% BE, from traces + her module, s1 gives + 60%, planar set gives 40% and new set gieves 16%, giving us a total of 213.3%. considering that achieving 300% BE on HMC is fairly easy she can easily obtain 250% BE, precisely 258.3% during all battle, allowing for 30% def ignore on everything and 48% def ignore whe she breaks someone or does super break throughHMC. now if we have ruan mei and watchmaker's set, it's possible for a few turns to achieve the 360% threshold, with 20% break from ruan mei, 30% from watch maker's set, 33% from HMC's ult and 13.95% extra from HMC E4 due to the new buffs, she achieves 355.25% BE, making us need only 1 BE substat to achieve the 360% for 40% def ignore, making it possible to focus on all crit stats. Also, maybe it's better to focus on BE directly instead of attack, as each substat is equivalent to about 1.74% - 2.18%, while pure BE substats give at worse double of it, 5.164%, and at best the triple, 6.48% , so we would only need 5-6 BE substats instead of the 10 or more that were required for attack to max out the BE conversion. This would allow us to further invest into crit stats, which considering how she has no way of dealing break dmg outside of her breaking the enemy or HMC ult, seems to be how they want us to build her. Also considering all of her dmg multipliers are quite rare, Ruan mei would greatly improve her damage with her skill, making her get full value out of it, while characters like xueyi or boothill, which should compete with her for some supports, don't have such luxury But I agree that her kit is a bit of a mess right now and that her Lightcone isn't that synergistic with her, as she needs to deal break dmg to her enemies, which she can only by breaking them herself, which is bound to be missplayed with all weakness break enhancing that she and her team will have, or through HMC, which is strange given it's her signature lightcone, she shouldn't have such difficulties on using it. anyway, let me know if this is burned or not

2024.05.14 20:35 smartslowbalance Drum conversion kits - are there options to keep it acoustic?

I'm not actually a drummer, but I have a friend who is. His band plays mostly rock covers (no genre in particular), but they're interested in covering songs that utilize electric kits as well, but they don't want to have to bring two kits to do a show.
So far when I've looked around, i haven't seen anything other than full conversions or pads. I'm studying to be an engineering technician, and my forte is in electrical systems, so I thought I might try to make something myself, but I figured I would check here first.
Have you guys seen anything like that? If so, what's the quality like?
TL;DR looking for a conversion kit that'll allow a band to play both electric and acoustic drums for live shows.

2024.05.14 20:29 TalentedDraven Best e-Bike, that will reach 10,000 miles for 2,000$ USD?

I have 2,000$ to my name, and wondered what I could do. I’m new to bikes, so I wanted to say, I can try a DIY conversion kit, but I’m not too experienced, so I don’t want to get something that’s too complicated, what should I do?

2024.05.14 19:57 eddiekins [UK] [H] TGR 910 Blush Pink, HE Kage SE Titan Grey (WKL), Machina Orbit65 [W] PayPal

Timestamp
I would like to sell various unused boards that will never see use, all price for less than what I paid to buy them new (or second hand in case of the 910).
Postage not included, willing to ship worldwide (estimated ~£20 to Europe, ~£45 to North America). Pay via PayPal Goods & Services, in £ GBP. I've provided conversions to USD for convenience, but please note postage would add to these numbers.

TGR 910 V2 ME Valentine's Edition (Blush Pink & Silver Backplate) - £550 ($690)

Purchased second-hand, only one owner prior to me. Like-new, "almost perfect" condition. Includes some extras (as much as I had; o-ring, gasket tabs, two stickers) and authentication card which matches case badge.
One brand new solder PCB is included, not in an anti-static bag but tested and working. Default PC plate and one extra POM plate. I did not receieve a Monokei cleaning cloth when I bought it. Some tiny scuffs to the anodisation of the bottom case (see photo album above), but all of these marks are impossible to see once built. It is in externally perfect condition, hence "almost perfect."

Hand Engineering x Monokei Kage SE (Titan Grey) - £450 ($565)

Titan Grey SE is the upgraded edition, CNC milled from smoky polycarbonate. Brand new, disassembled and reassembled once. No stress marks in the top! Includes all extras (o-ring, gasket tabs, cleaning cloth, sticker pack) and authentication card. One brand new solder PCB is included, unsealed to test and it does work.
I purchased this as "B+ stock" from Mekibo but the only damage is some very, very, very slight discolouration to the copper weight on the bottom that's only visible under direct light and is invisible in normal use. All parts are still in their plastic.

Machina Orbit65 (Moonlit / Aluminium / Solder) - £425 ($535)

Base configuration, not all-brass/copper bottom. Includes a second solder PCB in addition to the first, and the foams (case/plate) kit. Typing angle 7°. Front height 17mm. Tadpole mount. Screwless exterior. Embossed carry case with branded zippers. In my opinion this is a really comfortable and pleasant 65% but it's just surplus to my requirements. More details and renders in link above.
Brand new in box, A stock. All parts present and in perfect condition. Sale price is already less than my GB cost!
Please click here to send me a PM, I don't always see Reddit Chat messages.

2024.05.14 19:55 latebutstillearly1 The Stray

Two years ago, I had just moved to a new house from a different neighbourhood for work. I was settling in and getting used to the place, but I was still lonely and went through bouts of depression.
My ex-boyfriend of five years had ended the relationship a while before I moved, and I wasn't having much luck going on dates. I eventually decided to focus my energy into work and fitness instead, but the loneliness lingered. The house still felt empty at times, and the silence was painful. I went through the motions numbly as the days passed by.
About two months after I had moved in, I started noticed a stray dog pacing around my front yard from time to time. It had big, brown, sad eyes, and there was no collar around its neck. I couldn't tell you what breed it was - a reverse Google image search tells me it looks like an Indian Pariah dog. I could always recognize it, as its left eye was slightly larger and darker than the right, but that gave it some unique charm. After seeing it outside my front door for three days straight, I put up some posters along my street inviting anyone who might have lost a dog to call me. I quickly learned that I probably shouldn't have done that, after getting a few silent calls from an unknown number that I eventually chalked up to being a prankster or some scammer.
I called a local animal shelter and them pictures of the dog. A guy came over to scan the dog for a microchip, but found nothing. He said it was most likely abandoned as a puppy. He could take it back to the shelter, or I could look after it for the time being - they would contact me if anyone ever tried to claim it. My grandad had a german shepherd that I used to love playing with, so I always had a soft spot for dogs and agreed to look after it, even if it was for a while. The guy from the animal shelter advised that if I didn't hear back in a week, I should take it to the vet to get it checked out and microchipped, or to the shelter if I didn't want to keep it.
I took care of the dog and let it roam around the living room, with free access to the back yard. I decided to name him Charlie, and purchased more dog food, a labelled dog collar, some brushes to groom him with and dog toys. The nearest vet was a two hour drive away. Work was busy so I wasn't incredibly flexible for a visit, but I managed to get an appointment booked in two weeks' time.
The first night I spent with Charlie, I realized that he might just be what I needed in my life. Late in the evening, I sat on the couch looking at him, sitting quietly in the middle of the room on my wooden floor. I began talking out loud to Charlie. It seemed stupid at first, but the way he sat quietly and listened was comforting. After a while, I got more into it, and vented about my loneliness and frustrations to the point of tears.
How I stayed with my cheating, gaslighting ex-boyfriend because I was too insecure to be alone, until he dumped me. All my failed dates, and how I thought I would die alone and unloved. I poured my heart out to my new companion, spilling my deepest secrets until I cried myself to sleep. The next day, I again began talking to Charlie about the pain and depression I had been through, and he listened patiently once more. I discovered that spending time with my new friend was cathartic. Perhaps I needed to get it all out, and be listened to for once, even if not fully understood.
The third day after I had taken Charlie in, I woke up to realize that I'd overslept half an hour. I poured some food into Charlie's bowl and brushed my teeth at lightning speed, then grabbed my bag and flung the door open, ready to bolt into my car. A surprise greeted me at the front door, that made me stop.
There was a bouquet of red and pink roses on my front door step.
I picked it up and looked at it, confused. There was no note attached or anything. I couldn't think of who it would be from - I obviously hadn't been on any dates recently. Being late for work, I didn't have much time to ponder, so I dropped the roses back on my doorstep and drove off. During the drive, I panicked for a second at the thought that it could have been my ex, but then realized he didn't know my new address, or even that I had moved. The mystery bugged me all day at work. When I came back home, the roses were gone, so I assumed someone had accidentally left them at the wrong address.
That night, I woke to the sound of creaking. As I opened my eyes slightly, I saw something at the foot of my bed and bolted upright, adrenaline rushing through me. As the fogginess faded, my heart rate settled a little.
"It’s just you, Charlie," I sighed, "you scared me."
Charlie continued to stare at me from the foot of my bed. After a minute, he stood up and left the room. I didn't think much of it, and fell back asleep.
For the next week, I continued the usual ritual of talking to Charlie before I went to bed. I would talk about my day, my plans, hopes, dreams and other such things. I found our one way conversations getting more positive each day - they were very therapeutic. Charlie would always stare at me with those big brown eyes and sit quietly still as I talked.
On the morning of the vet appointment, for which I had taken the day off work, I noticed that my car was much cleaner than usual. Had it always been this shiny? I thought. I had driven it to work the Friday before, but I hadn't taken notice of how clean it was then. The last time I had, I could swear there were bird droppings on the back window, and some general grime that covered it all round, but it was now spotless. I pondered for a few seconds, and came to the conclusion that it must've just be a brain lapse on my part - it was probably always clean. Those droppings must have washed away over time with a few rainy nights.
I drove Charlie down to the vet and explained the story of how I'd found him.
"He's very well behaved," she beamed, as she began examining Charlie on the table. "We see a few of these cases from time to time. People's dogs have puppies, and they get sold or abandoned."
"It's a real shame," I sighed. "Charlie's been a star, I'm lucky to have him really. I live alone, so as odd as it sounds, I've been talking to him and it's helped me through some difficult moments."
"That's not strange at all," replied the vet, checking his teeth. "Owning a dog can do wonders for your mental health, especially if you live alo-"
She suddenly stopped.
I stared as she squinted and moved Charlie's head up and down, trying to get a look at something. She plucked a light out of her pocket and aimed it into Charlie's left eye.
"What's wrong?" I asked. She didn't answer, and kept looking at Charlie from different angles. He whimpered slightly.
"Did his eye look like this when you found him?" She asked. I leaned in closer.
"Yeah, I did notice his left eye was slightly darker and larger than his right."
She looked at me for a second and raised her eyebrows, then back at Charlie.
"I'd like to get a closer look at his eye and examine it in the next room, if that's okay?"
"Uh, sure," I said, confused.
Without further explanation, she hastily picked Charlie up and carried him off into a different room. I sat down and waited, reading the news on my phone, expecting her to be back in a few minutes. However, when the vet didn’t come back for a while, my concern began to grow. I paced around the room and tried to glance into the door she had left through a few times.
Then I sat back down and watched the minutes pass by, getting more anxious. Hopefully it's nothing, I thought to myself. An easily curable eye infection perhaps, or a defect he was born with - hopefully it was something like that or nothing. I'd only spent a few weeks with Charlie, but he was the best friend I'd ever had. I had told him so much about me, and he was the only one that had ever really listened to me. I had grown very attached to him quickly, so I almost felt like a worried parent, blaming myself for not bringing him to the vet sooner.
An hour and a half passed, but it felt like eternity. The vet finally came back through the door. I stood up.
"Everything okay?" I asked.
"Have you noticed any odd events recently?" she asked, "Like, anything you couldn't explain?"
"To do with Charlie?"
"No, just in general. Anything you've seen or heard around you that felt out of place in your life?" She insisted. I took a second to think.
"I'm pretty sure this isn't gonna be relevant," I said, "But I have a couple of times. For instance, this morning I thought my car was a lot cleaner than usual. I've been getting some unknown calls, and hearing some creaking noises at night lately, but I'm sure it's just Charlie walking around and waking me up. And… someone left roses on my front doorstep one day. Didn't say from who, but… Sorry, I'm not sure why I'm even telling you this."
I looked up at the vet, who now had a very concerned look on her face.
"I'm going to have to call the police," she said.
It took a few seconds to register. A million thoughts started racing through my mind. Did I say something wrong? Did she think I was abusing Charlie?
"I swear," I said, "Everything I've told you is true, I'm really sorry it took me so long to bring him in, it's my first time owning a dog and all…"
"No, no, it's not that," she said. She gestured for me to follow her into the room through the door.
Charlie was sitting on a table in the middle of the room. There were a few other tables surrounding it, with dog toys and surgical equipment on them. There was a large hole where his left eye had been, now a gaping black cavity.
The vet pointed at a sheet of blue paper on a table next to the one Charlie was on. There were two black domes resting on it, like two halves of a black ping pong ball had been split in half. A clear fluid was covering the outer sides, and staining the blue paper. There was also a tiny black cube. I looked closer, and saw some red and green wires coming out of the tube.
"I took this out of Charlie's left eye," the vet explained, "I thought my eyes were fooling me, but I took a closer look and was sure this thing definitely shouldn't have been in his head. When I took it out, I thought it was some kind of prosthetic eye, until I heard something moving inside it. I opened it up, and found this."
She pointed at the tiny cube and picked it up with some tweezers, revealing a transparent circular window on one side.
"Now I'm no expert, but I took that apart just now and to me it looked a lot like the inside of a camera lens you'd get on a smartphone."
She looked back at me.
"Do you think…" She paused.
"Do you think it's possible someone could have been watching you for the past few days?"
The police were eventually called and an investigation started. The tiny device inside Charlie's eye was indeed a camera lens with a built in audio recording device, and it had a wireless connection. It was an advanced piece of kit, but with some technical expertise they were able to examine its traffic logs and identify an IP address to which the miniature device was streaming.
That IP address belonged to my neighbor, who lived in the house opposite to mine.
I had never seen him leave the house before, although when I moved in I did see his silhouette in the top floor window a couple of times. He was a fifty five year old balding, slightly overweight man who worked as an engineer, but otherwise lived a reclusive lifestyle. I later found out that he had multiple restraining orders placed against him from ex partners. He had a collection of tiny bugging devices which he had been planting in various places including public women's bathrooms for years. These devices could livestream video and audio to his computer, and in his spare time he would watch and listen to this footage he collected.
A while before I moved into the house, he had purchased a puppy from someone he knew, and kept it as a pet without registering it. I assume he got bored of spying on women in bathroom stalls, and when he saw me move into the house opposite, he suddenly got a wild idea of how he could get a peek at something more intimate. The rest is some truly horrific history.
Charlie had been in my room while I slept and even a couple of times while I undressed. But worst of all, I had told him everything about me. The names of previous partners, things about my family, companies I had worked for and more. I wish I could say that I kept Charlie, but I just couldn't. Not after that. The vet arranged for him to be sent to the animal shelter where I'm glad to say he eventually did find a new home. I also relocated and changed my phone number.
For anyone out there wondering, I'm still single. The difference is that nowadays, I'm completely at peace with being alone. I've experienced a worse alternative, that's for sure.

I'm currently trying to buy a desert eagle 44mag since the 50ae isn't legal here. I'm looking online for conversion kits and there are two options, IMB and regular. I have no clue what IMB means and I don't want to buy the wrong one. (I'm new to the gun scene so please don't shit on me if this is general knowledge lol. And i know that buying a deagle for a beginer is stupid but ive always wanted one since i was a kid.

2024.05.14 18:57 SmkAslt Awd civic or k24 miata?

Looking to pick up my first project car for a track build.
Looking at either a miata that I will do a k series engine swap in.
OR
A really cheap civic and do an awd conversion.
Based on what I've looked at, both projects will cost me about the same all said and done.
So for you track car guys....which should I pick? What's the better choice/easieaccessibility or whatever?
Note: I'm NOT a mechanic. But I am handy and have done enough stuff on cars through the years that I'm confident that I will be able to do the work myself. And I'll be using s1 or some other pre built kits for these swaps/conversions.
Edit since it got brought up. I'm not a mechanic professionally....for a living.
I've rebuilt engines and tranny's. I've done engine swaps etc before. Just not on my own track project car specifically.

2024.05.14 18:36 m90photog Alright, here's the melee TTK

Pickaxe: 630ms
Tonfa: 610ms
Soulrender: 600ms
Combat Knife/Gutter Knife: 540ms
Karambit: 470ms
Dual Kamas: 460ms
Gladiator: 410ms from impact, 510ms with swing
Tested in Resurgence with enemies at full plates. TTK is from first impact to down, unless stated otherwise.
Dual Kodachis not tested, but TTK is estimated to be similar to the Combat Knife.
Melee lunge was highest with Tonfa at approximately 1.5m, fastest movement speeds is the Gladiator (8.1m/s tac sprint, 6.7m/s sprint), though all of them are within 0.9m/s tac sprint and 0.5m/s sprint of each other.
For comparison's sake, the fastest close range TTK with guns is the Cor-45 akimbo at 400ms up to 50m, and the MCW conversion kit at 613ms up to 19m.
Enjoy it before it's nerfed to hell.
Edit/Update: I'm going to do some additional testing later to factor in swing speed and if people are interested, the time it would take to down two people next to each other with each weapon. From what I can tell and my best estimate, swing should only add between 100ms to maybe 250ms.

Sambar Retro VW conversion kit ????
I’m looking for a sandbar Dias II Van and finding many that have already had a retro VW conversion kit bolted on.
I’m curious if anyone knows if the original bodywork is left in place and the retro kit bolted on to the existing body work.
And anyone’s experience or direction to a video that may show one being put on and or taken off
And if anyone could point me in the direction of a company or two that makes these kits I would certainly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance

2024.05.14 16:08 nickw1ld Does Loot Need a Buff?

Ok so before the whole "play more/get good" train rolls in, I just want to have a conversation about loot in this game. It seems looting in the normal game mode is next to worthless.
I have not played the mobile version so I am unsure if some of the other maps have better base loot in Normal mode. When playing Tarkov for example, it doesn't feel like you NEED to go to labs to get good gear or amassing enough money to save up for some kits.
I understand that most people have talked about playing Lockdown in order to make more money and it is much easier to do that. But I constantly run into people on normal that have ran out of all their money, making it very hard to have a come up and even afford a kit to make it to the 80k value plus the price of buy in if they cannot get decent loot in normal mode. I understand that this is not a full "casual" game and there is a balance that must be struck between the giga chads and the timmies. I just feel like baseline loot in normal should have a little bit of a buff because the only reliable way to get decent gear while in normal seems to be PVP which is not something everyone excels at. I have been doing ok, decent at PVP, and keeping my money around 800k but like I said, I have met a lot of people that are broke and struggling to get out of that hole. It's been making me a bit more hesitant also to play Lockdown mode because of the inherit possibility of loss and from what I've seen, the player skill is obviously much higher and they have better gear. It just seems like it would be harder to compete combined with the risk inherently involved with Lockdown.
What do you guys think? Should players simply get good or should loot get a little buff to make it easier to keep up with players that will be rich regardless of loot?

2024.05.14 13:17 Intelligent-Wash-861 Question about conversion

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to convert my old bike into a 500w ebike. I have very little knowledge about ebikes and quite frankly, I have no idea what to look for when searching for conversion kits. My budget is about $330 USD and the kit must ship to Australia.
I noticed Alibaba has some cheap kits but I don't want that shit to explode on me. What are some trusted and reliable brands that are around my price range? I don't mind settling for a 250w or 330w.
If anyone could help that would be great.
