Women pleasuring themselfs

AITA for exposing that my(F30) cousin (F29) fakes her orgasms?

2024.05.14 17:42 stillrunn AITA for exposing that my(F30) cousin (F29) fakes her orgasms?

So for context, I (F30) am a lesbian. My cousin (F29) asked me once if it was true that lesbians have sex for several hours every time, I answered that not always, but we definitely have sex many orgasms every time.
It was a joke but she got serious and asked me how many orgasms I usually have, and I told her between 3-6. She gave me a weird smile, so I asked how many she normally has? And turns out she rarely has any at all, around 80% she doesn't actually orgasm and gets tired when receiving oral sex so she just fakes it to get it over with.
The talk was quite depressing and even though I tried offering some advice, she didn't seem to believe it could improve it.
A couple weeks ago, I went to her place to hangout with her and her boyfriend (M30) it was all nice and fun, until he got tipsy and started asking me inappropriate questions about my sex life, and the typical straight man's gotcha: Why do we use dildos if we don't like men?
It was obnoxious but I'm used to it so I explained that it's just a simple tool for penetration, it can have the shape of a squid arm for all we care about, but he kept asking questions in an inquisitive tone "why are most shaped like penises then?" I said cause sex toys manufacturers make them like that and we don't care cause sex isn't about the toy at all, but no, he kept going "then doesn't that mean you need something men have?"
And more dumb questions, basically supposing that women wanting to feel pleasure from penetration (what a vagina is basically for) was the same as wanting a man. But then he got more personal, even though I told him I wasn't feeling comfortable, he wouldn't stop, and his smug smile was irritating me.
That's when I didn't hold my tongue and said that he should worry more about his own tools and techniques, so he can at least give my cousin a real orgasm for once. I said it in a joking tone, hoping he wouldn't think much of it.
But of course, to this, he didn't laugh. I started sensing the tension building and tried to help it by turning it into a real talk about how to properly pleasure a woman, which wasn't well received by my cousin who eventually stormed out, by then, her bf definitely caught up on it not being a joke.
Next morning things were very awkward, I grabbed my cousin to apologize but she was very upset, apparently learning that she was faking it most of the times broke all trust between them.
I tried to encourage her to turn this into a chance to get him to learn how to do it right, but she got even more upset and said I didn't understand anything.
I really love my cousin, she's a wonderful person and we've had a great relationship our entire life, so I would hate for this to turn into something bigger than it is... So AITA?
Tl;dr: my cousin's bf kept bugging me with sexual topics because I'm a lesbian so I exposed that my cousin fakes her orgasms and they had a fight because of it, aita?

2024.05.14 17:35 godessgoth Sex with FTM

Hi all I need some advice on navigating sex with someone that I am currently sleeping with. I am a cis female lesbian sleeping with a trans man (FTM). He explicitly does not like to be touched and doesn't ever want to be touched in the genital area or chest area for sake of better terminology its what would be called a touch me not. We only ever use a strap on and don't get me wrong the sex is amazing for me we have great sex I always cum but I want to know how best to make him cum without being able to physically do much? I may add that he is not one to talk about his transition/sexuality etc it's a VERY touchy subject so I have left it - I have tried to ask but get shut down. I know he loves it when I am on top and I was wondering if that would be best for him to cum by essentially riding the strap on it should rub against the clit giving him pleasure too? Sorry if I sound silly but I've never slept with a trans person and this is very new to me as a lesbian who sleeps with women only (I never knew they were trans at first) any tips/advice would be welcomed!!

2024.05.14 17:02 Ok-Pianist1211 S2E7: "Harmony"

My Goodness, I really can't imagine that we've made it to the penultimate episode of season 2. We're just two days away from the premiere, we've seen the first five minutes of the episode which feature Benedict heavily, and the red carpet was last night. I really did not think we'd ever get here.
"Harmony" finds the Bridgertons and the Sharmas embroiled in scandal and ousted by society after the fallout from Anthony and Edwina's aborted wedding. Eloise is falsely accused of being Lady Whistledown by the Queen herself, leaving Penelope between a rock and a hard place. With that in mind, let's get into it.
Benedict makes his first appearance in this episode seated in the Bridgerton drawing room with his sketchbook. He groans loudly when his mother suggests the family all promenade together. He asks Anthony if there is something more he should know regarding his brother's situation when Anthony grumbles that a respectable family is headed by a gentleman, but Anthony rebuffs his brother's offer to help. I feel like we see this all the time in the show: Benedict offering to lend a hand to Anthony, or attempting to connect with him, but Anthony doesn't often accept his brother's help.
Benedict later promenades with the family, looking tight-lipped, like he knows before the rest of his family what's coming. Still though, he smiles, because Benedict I've learned in this rewatch is a master at not letting things get to him. This comes to a boiling point in the finale, and I believe we will see it continue in season three as well (but... more on that tomorrow). After Eloise's stand off with the Queen, we see Benedict again, always at Anthony's side as they walk together through Hyde Park, looking just lovely as he often does.
Just shy of the twenty minute mark, we find Benedict enjoying the revelry of his art school life, sitting next to Tessa, when Anthony stops by to see him. Anthony appears disappointed to find Benedict partying rather than studying, and when he inquires if Benedict does this every night, he groans and asks, "Did you come to admonish me?" before pouting. Anthony reminds Benedict that being the second son doesn't completely exempt him from duty, and Benedict catches on that his brother's attitude has something to do with Kate. Benedict finally admits out loud that he notices how Anthony looks at her. He tells Anthony that he should do with his life what Benedict does with his art: remember that it's simply a matter of perspective. Anthony coldly accuses Benedict of "taking the tea" again before leaving his brother behind. This scene is very telling of their relationship. It seems they can never really get on the same page: when Benedict offers help, Anthony doesn't want to hear it, and when Anthony seeks him out, he's in an inebriated state that leads Anthony to wave off anything his brother says. It's a tale as old as time, the ballad of the heir and the spare. One honor bound by responsibility, the other merely waiting on the sidelines for the day he might be needed. It's obvious that Benedict is confident Anthony isn't going anywhere in how he leans into the parties, drugs, drinks, and women (or, really, woman, singular, as we discussed yesterday). But underneath it all is in fact the soul of an artist who sees more than he lets on, and may even be better at managing society than Anthony himself.
Later, as Violet discusses her Harmony Ball in the drawing room, Eloise and Benedict play chess off to the side until Eloise sticks her head out the window, sweating from stress. Benedict then suggests Violet change the theme of the ball.
Finally the day of the Harmony Ball arrives. Benedict descends the steps of Bridgerton House, not exactly looking surprised that the plan has failed. He approaches Anthony, insisting he doesn't want to be around the misery and decides to head to his studio. Though, Anthony finally takes his advice, saying he's looking at things with a new perspective, and tells Benedict to stay for a dance. We get the lovely moment where the Bridgertons and Sharmas engage in the country dance. Benedict first dances with Eloise, looking quite happy, and this may be the first time Eloise is happy to be dancing as well. Benedict's next partner is Hyacinth, followed by Violet. I love that he dances with his two younger siblings and his mother, because it just shows how much he does care for his family, ultimately seeking them out more than the others in the room. This is only the second time in the show that we see Benedict dancing in full clarity, and it's such a wonderful moment, one of my favorites from the series. When the Bridgertons learn why no one is at the ball following the Whistledown paper arriving, Benedict looks worried for his sister and his family in the background. When Eloise runs from the room, he and Colin exchange worried looks, and when Anthony goes as well, Benedict turns to him, lifting his arms in question of exactly what is happening.
This is the last we see of Benedict before the season two finale, and while he didn't necessarily have a lot of screen time here, the time he does have is telling. Benedict's word for this episode is "perspective." We learn that Benedict is always taking perspective into consideration when working on his art, but also that perhaps Benedict's perspective on his family and brother is a bit wider than we originally thought. We learn in this episode that Benedict suspected Anthony's feelings for Kate all along, and we also see him being a bit more privy to the fact that Violet's plans to right the family's reputation may not work they way they wish it to. It's Benedict who finally gets Anthony to see things differently, if only for a moment, and in turn, it's because of Benedict that the Bridgertons and Sharmas have a mere moment of pleasure when they all dance together. It's a lovely notion that Benedict is kind of a harbinger of joy in that sense. But as we enter the finale, we do so with the awareness that Benedict's happiness as we've seen it the last three episodes is fleeting.
Tomorrow is the very last day of our Benedict focused rewatch, and I really don't have words to explain how crazy it is that we're so close to having more Benedict scenes to break down soon! And who knows... we may be merely eight episodes away from meeting Sophie! Even if Benedict himself doesn't meet her yet. See everyone tomorrow for "The Viscount Who Loved Me."
Best Benedict quote from this episode: "Things may seem bleak now, Brother. But if I'm learning anything from my art studies, it's that it is almost always a matter of... perspective. I look at my art, and if I do not like what I see, I may always alter the color palette, but I certainly do not toss the entire design aside. Perhaps you, too, could do the same in your own life."

2024.05.14 16:06 Majestic_Incident_27 Nancy: Femme Fatale (part 2)

Nancy: Femme Fatale (part 2)
Chapter 2: A New Reality
Nancy awoke in a sterile room, her body aching with unfamiliar sensations. She sat up slowly, the weight of her new breasts pulling her forward. The transformation had left her exhausted, but curiosity overwhelmed her. She was no longer John, the man who reveled in objectifying women. She was now Nancy, a woman whose body was a living contradiction to her male psyche.
She looked down at herself, her hands trembling as they moved towards her chest. The sight of her own cleavage was both mesmerizing and disconcerting. She cupped her breasts, the skin warm and smooth beneath her fingers. A jolt of pleasure shot through her, making her gasp. She squeezed them tentatively, feeling the fullness and weight, the slight give of the soft flesh beneath her touch. The sensation was unlike anything she had ever experienced, arousing and confusing all at once.
Nancy couldn’t help but explore further. She stood up, her new hips swaying with every step, and walked to the full-length mirror on the wall. The reflection staring back at her was a vision of impossible beauty: large, dark eyes, full lips, and cascading hair framing a face that was both delicate and striking. Her body was a perfect hourglass, her breasts full and round, her waist cinched, and her hips flaring out to shapely thighs.
Her hands roamed over her body, feeling the curve of her waist, the softness of her belly, the firmness of her buttocks. She gave her buttocks a squeeze, marveling at the firm yet pliant flesh. Each touch sent waves of unfamiliar pleasure through her, making her breathing shallow and her skin flush. She traced her fingers over her thighs, feeling the smoothness of her skin, the strength of the muscles beneath.
Nancy's exploration became more intense, driven by a perverse fascination with her new form. She lay back on the bed, her hands wandering freely. She cupped her breasts again, this time kneading them, her fingers finding the sensitive nipples. She pinched them lightly, gasping at the sensation that shot straight to her core. She couldn’t believe how sensitive they were, how each touch, each squeeze, made her body react in ways she couldn’t control.
In her mind, she was still John—the man who had seen women as mere objects of pleasure. Now, trapped in this incredibly seductive body, she was experiencing a twisted irony. Her arousal grew with every touch, her body responding eagerly to the very actions she had once inflicted on others.
She moved her hands down to her belly, feeling the softness there, the gentle rise and fall with each breath. Her fingers traced her belly button, sending shivers down her spine. Her thighs were next, her hands sliding over the smooth skin, feeling the muscles tense and relax under her touch. She spread her legs slightly, her fingers exploring the inner thighs, feeling the heat radiating from her core.
Nancy's hands drifted back to her breasts, now more confident and insistent. She squeezed them harder, her breath hitching as she felt the fullness and weight. The veins were visible under her pale skin, and she could feel the mammary glands swollen and aching. She pushed and pulled at her nipples, trying to milk them, but instead of relief, she found herself drowning in a sea of arousal. Her nipples were incredibly sensitive, each touch sending shockwaves through her body.
She couldn’t stop herself from exploring further. Her fingers slid down her belly, feeling the slight curve, the soft skin giving way under her touch. She pressed down, feeling the muscles tense beneath. Her hands moved lower, tracing the edges of her hips, the smooth curve of her thighs, the delicate skin of her inner thighs. She spread her legs wider, her breath coming in ragged gasps as her fingers explored the new territory.
The arousal was maddening, but it also brought a deep sense of confusion and frustration. Nancy sat up, her hands still roaming over her body, unable to stop herself. She could feel the wetness between her legs, the undeniable evidence of her arousal. Her mind was at war with her body—John’s perverted desires clashing with Nancy’s physical reactions.
She lay back on the bed, her hands moving rhythmically over her breasts, her belly, her thighs. The pleasure was overwhelming, her body responding eagerly to the touches, the sensations building with each passing moment. She pinched her nipples harder, pulling and twisting them, gasping at the electric shocks that followed. Her fingers trailed down to her belly, pressing and kneading the soft flesh, feeling the heat rising within her.
Her hands moved lower, tracing the edges of her hips, the smooth curve of her thighs, the delicate skin of her inner thighs. She spread her legs wider, her breath coming in ragged gasps as her fingers explored the new territory. She felt the wetness, the heat, the undeniable arousal, her mind spinning with the intensity of the sensations.
The pleasure was too much, too intense, making her feel like she was losing her mind. Nancy’s mind raced, struggling to reconcile her new reality. She was no longer the man who had objectified women. She was now the very object of her own perverse fascination. The irony was not lost on her, and it filled her with a deep sense of shame and confusion.
She sat up once more, tears of frustration and arousal streaming down her cheeks. Her body was a masterpiece of seduction, but her mind was still a battlefield. The perverted thoughts that once brought her satisfaction now only deepened her sense of despair. She couldn’t escape the sensations, couldn’t stop her hands from exploring, from seeking, from needing.
Hours passed in this torment, each touch bringing both pleasure and pain. Nancy’s breaths came in ragged gasps, her body slick with sweat. Her mind was a storm of conflicting emotions—desire, shame, confusion. She was trapped in a body that was the epitome of those desires, forced to live out the very fantasies she had once inflicted on others.
She stood up and faced the mirror again, her reflection mocking her. She was a beautiful, seductive woman, but inside, she was still John—still the man who had taken pleasure in objectifying women. Now, she was trapped in a body that was the epitome of those desires, forced to live out the very fantasies she had once inflicted on others.

2024.05.14 16:05 Sad_Bat7625 Feeling guilt for messaging my abusive ex

About a year ago, I [29 M] was in a toxic relationship with J [29 M]. While there were no serious stakes in it (no kids or messy finances), the relationship and breakup ended up emotionally affecting me in a way I had never really thought possible. I feel guilty because after the relationship I tried to be friends with my ex still, which I now see as a mistake in the context of this relationship, and then after a few months, he blocked me because I didn't respect a boundary he had set about not sending him long messages. He said he didn't feel safe since I "completely ignored" the boundary.
I was devastated, but over the course of the next few months, came to understand a great deal of ways that I feel that I had been abused during the relationship. I felt angrier and angrier, and even though I was seeing a therapist, it eventually boiled over. My ex had blocked me on discord and probably on text, but I went onto an astrology app called Co-Star that he had had me download, and sent a message using it that said something like, "You were an abusive partner, but you can make it right with an apology."
Now, I have no idea if he actually saw the message. It was sent with a weird feature of the app called Chaos Mode that apparently chooses to send the message at some future time, so who knows if it actually ever sent. I don't know if he still has the app, if he unfriended me, or whatnot. But I feel guilty because I enacted exactly the caricature of me that he had created--I hadn't respected his boundaries, and I sent the message anyways.
At the same time, I am still feeling very victimized by the relationship. To give you a sense of the kinds of things that were going on in the relationship, here's a few examples that I currently find a little horrific [Note: this kind of turned into a summary of the relationship after I wrote it]. I'm aware that to heal I should probably not be ruminating about these things, especially if they lead me to boil over and message him, but here you go.
The first time I had sex with him, he slammed the door on me for not being able to finish and said "finish yourself." When I came to bed, I told him I felt shame. He said "good." The next time we had sex, he set a timer for me and said I had to finish within 5 minutes. These were the first times I ever had sex. He was manipulative in bed, telling me he didn't want to perform certain acts because I didn't give him enough praise for them, so that I started exaggerating my pleasure; he blamed me for why certain positions weren't working and was frustrated with how my body worked. On top of this, he admitted at the end of the relationship to having had sex with me around five times after he decided to break up with me (before he did), which just makes me feel a bit icky.
He would put me down in pretty transparently cruel ways. One example was when I exerted myself, he said I sounded like a muppet and that he "didn't want to be dating a muppet." When I offered him a blanket but apologized that it might not have been washed in a while, he called me a baby. He would insult my ability to give complements, asking me to tell him what color his eyes are but then rejecting everything that I gave him, telling me I was bad at complements repeatedly (and saying that it wasn't fair of him because his other exes were artists, so no wonder I was bad). Now, there were times that he was complementary to me--he told me I was hot, good at singing, good at writing, smart--but also times where he would put me down for things I was less good at, like cooking.
He constantly made me feel insecure about my gender. (For context, we are both men, but he was raised as a woman). So he would make pretty sweeping feminist critiques over fairly mundane things, like if I complained when I was sick he would go off about how men are always babies when they are sick and women don't get attention. When I confronted him about some of the things he was saying, telling him that while I wanted him to express these kinds of social problems so that I could be aware and adapt, I was feeling insecure in the relationship--he flipped it around and told me that if I didn't feel loved, he could say "I love you" less, and that I hadn't been grateful enough for when he came to visit me. (I had written him poetry, deep cleaned my apartment, taken time off work, sent my roommate off for the week, bought him a bus pass, planned his visit, met him in the airport despite not having a car, and just an insane amount of work to be turned into, "you weren't grateful enough").
Other than namecalling, he was just plain controlling. The reason that the boundary around me not sending long messages exists is that when I felt insecure--which I think makes sense given the ways he would talk to me--I would often send him a few paragraphs apologizing and explaining how I was growing. Even though long messages were the first thing he said he loved about me, and that he said our communication was like magic, he eventually set up what he called an "Essay embargo" and told me not to write them. The first time he set the "embargo", he had said it was only until we met in person because he didn't want me to write anything that would make him nervous. After we met in person, I assumed the embargo had lifted. Yet shortly after, he set it again, giving a few explanations--the main one just being that he wanted to appreciate our relationship without overthinking it. It seemed playful. He definitely did also say that long messages made him uncomfortable because he felt obligated to send a response. So, when I did send messages, I would add that he didn't have to respond (which I realize is not fully respecting the boundary). I did ask after sending messages whether they were ok and he never responded to those questions.
Despite this, there were times during the relationship that I continued to send long, often apologetic messages. I had felt like this boundary was set playfully and I also was feeling overwhelming guilt that I, for whatever reason, needed his affirmation for. I am conflicted because on the one hand, I was definitely ignoring his boundary--but on the other, I feel like the boundary was not very thoughtful of my own needs, either.
Prior to the breakup, it was hell. He was getting angry at me for everything--for pretty mundane things like using the bathroom before him and stinking it up. He told me he had to show me how to do everything, but I realize now that a lot of this was just him being particular (e.g, he told me I don't know how to drink tea because I left the bag in, when I just like it strong). Unfortunately, I had flown 5,000 miles to visit him and was sort of trapped in his proximity, and was drunk on love still since I was trying very hard, it was my first relationship, and he had sold me on notions of fairytale romance and told me we were cosmically meant to be together and other lovebomby sort of things. We flew to a convention and I met some of his friends, and at one point he introduced me to a girl he had almost dated before, saying I was a friend and not a partner. I pointed this out to him later and he just said "does that make you angry?". He flirted with a woman at a party, telling her she was pretty while demanding that i bring him snacks (I feel so, so weak for not confronting him about this). He got drunk and I stayed with him as he passed out, but he was angry at me in the morning. When one of his friends told me they thought I was nice, because i was opening doors for everyone, my ex said "Is he really?" Questioning them.
The breakup itself was cold and calculated. He started it by telling me that he thought about not giving me any reasons for the breakup because I always overanalyze things. He told me he wouldn't have broken up with me if I was a woman. He told me I didn't take care of him and he needs a partner that takes care of him, and that his partners always feel taken care of. He threw some things I had said at the beginning of the relationship back at me--misquoting and misunderstanding them.
After the relationship, I had no idea what to think. It was my first relationship. It had started with fairytale romance. I had been passing his tests, I had been an exception to his long string of abusive relationships. He presented himself as this incredibly moral person (vegan, environmentally conscious, telling me of all of the ways others had abused him that he would never do, even his closest friends). I had completely internalized criticisms that he had had of me throughout the relationship, many of which had led to serious self reflection and my writing messages about my growth. Within a week I told him I still loved him and that I always would. He reminded me of his boundary around long messages and said they made him anxious. I was desperate. We took a few weeks of no-contact. We messaged short-messages back and forth, with a few life-updates to eachother each. He told me he was rescuing a kitten that he found, and I remembered how he could be kind.
But as I processed, more and more, I felt angry. I wrote unsent angry letters in the notes app on my phone for a month. I wrote myself a 20,000 word summary of the relationship. This was not a healthy way to process. It elevated me. (Some of you will probably comment that maybe I shouldn't have written this post for the same reason, but oh well--I wanted to process and I want to hear if others have similar stories). Meanwhile, my ex kept pushing back the date for when we would verbally connect again. Eventually, I boiled over. I did not insult him. But I wrote a long message explaining that I wanted to take 3 months of no-contact. I had entered another relationship and told him that even though I was feeling angry at him, he shouldn't be worried because even though I had baggage from the relationship, I was communicating well with my new partner. I also told him that I felt like if I did talk with him, that I would end up tearing him a new one, and that I needed time to cool down. I'm not proud of the message in general, but I didn't call names, tell him he was awful, or anything like that. I was just insensitive and told him I was angry.
And like that, I was blocked. It was over. A period of about 9 months, five of which we were together, with two before escalating towards love bombing and two after escalating towards my boiling over.
And yet, I had never expressed to him that I thought he had been abusive. I felt frustrated that I had told him that I would always love him, when in many ways now I hated him.
Five months passed, during which I came to realize more and more how messed up the relationship was.
And then I sent the message on Co-star.
Fast forward another four months to now.
I just sent him a text, knowing he probably has blocked me there too. It said something like, "I want my last message to you just be: I'm sorry, and I forgive you." I wanted to free myself. I needed to not feel angry at him or ashamed of myself. I needed to not feel like I had a million things to say to him--I needed to just say, this is it: I'm not sending more messages. I'm sorry, and I forgive you. It was for myself. I was forgiving him selfishly, even though he didn't deserve it, so that I could move on.
I feel like I shouldn't have sent this, but I don't feel bad about it yet, either. I needed closure. It always felt like there was some "message I could send" to detail his abuse, and I needed to not have that standing over me--I needed to forgive. I am now oscillating between wondering about myself--whether I have a problem with boundaries, since I had boiled over at this point three times to message him. Feeling frustrated I didn't assert myself about his abuse, that I doubled down on loving him. Part of me is glad that I sent the message on Co-Star saying that he was abusive, because it was the only indication I ever gave him, really, that what he did wasn't ok to me--he had blocked me before I could articulate anything. But I also know that this message even if received would not mean anything to him.
Anyways, now I'm venting about it here on Reddit. Does anyone have similar experiences surrounding self control messaging exes and feeling a bit out of control?

2024.05.14 14:20 Due_Butterscotch960 Vivianne Miedema 🐐

The greatest player in WSL history is leaving the club. On a free. At the age of 27. The GOAT. Vivianne Miedema.
Over the next few months we will hear and see the stats over and over. 172 appearances, 125 goals, 50 assists. Over a goal or assist a game. Incredible. But the true pleasure was just watching her play, something we’ve all been robbed of over the last few years. That may have been nobodies fault, but I could certainly name whose fault it is that we will be robbed of watching the rest of her career.
For such pioneers of women’s football, Arsenal have handled Vivianne Miedema’s departure horrifically. Women’s football is not the same as Men’s and should not be run in the same way. In women’s football relationships are built between fans and players as quickly as lesbians fall in love. The accessibility is there and encouraged. Rightly or wrongly, winning isn’t always everything, the priority is growing the game and inspiring the next generations.
Make no mistake, not offering Viv a contract at 27 years of age is the same as Barcelona turning around to Alexia Putellas and not offering her a contract. It is the same as letting Thierry Henry leave on a free. In no world is it a sensible decision. In no world does it make sense for team aiming to win trophy’s. And in no world is any true Arsenal fan going to allow this to be swept under the rug. Could there really not have been a conversation about a contract even if the club felt it was a risk? Could that conversation not have been had? This is Vivienne Miedema, with all due respect, there is nobody better.
This is a huge disrespect and something that the club, specifically Jonas and Edu need to address publicly. Especially if the plan is for Jonas to continue. Not only that it brings into question the ambition of the club, within minutes Man City are sniffing and being vocal about it.
But as difficult as it is for us fans, and as baffling, the real victim is Viv.
To Viv, thank you, thank you, thank you. Not just for what you have done for the club on the pitch, for who you are off it. For being unapologetically yourself, and showing us the most important thing is you and your wellbeing regardless of what directions you are being pulled in. We will always be holding out hope that there will be a U-turn and you end up staying, but the reality is even if the club were too they don’t deserve your forgiveness for this. I hope wherever you end up you don’t just confirm what everyone except the club knows, but make Arsenal have to re-evaluate every persons position who helped come to this conclusion. Because it’s the wrong one, and I’ll die on that sword. But who knows, maybe one day you’ll be winning the WSL with us as manager. I’ll be wishing it in every shooting star I see.
I know we will have to let it go, just as you will have had too, but we aren’t ready yet.
So whilst we may not be ready to say So Long Viv just yet, we will never be able to listen to that song without thinking of you.

2024.05.14 12:52 Revolutionarybets1 Practice the foundation of purpose.

What is your purpose?
Where do you want to be in your life?
Who do you wish to be?
Better
But in what way?
What is it that you are trying to achieve? More money?
More women?
family?
Define what you want to become so you can reach it.
If you live without goals then you will always suffer the consequences of being purposeless.
Which will make very easily swayed by the devil at any moment.
Which will make pleasure your greatest weakness.
Make purpose your ally and make purpose seen infront of you.
So you wake up everyday knowing why it is that you do what you do

2024.05.14 12:31 Due_Butterscotch960 Vivianne Miedema 🐐

The greatest player in WSL history is leaving the club. On a free. At the age of 27. The GOAT. Vivianne Miedema.
Over the next few months we will hear and see the stats over and over. 172 appearances, 125 goals, 50 assists. Over a goal or assist a game. Incredible. But the true pleasure was just watching her play, something we’ve all been robbed of over the last few years. That may have been nobodies fault, but I could certainly name whose fault it is that we will be robbed of watching the rest of her career.

2024.05.14 12:00 Gldfsh_vinillaCronch chapter fifteen

•~Neptori~•
Chapter fifteen
Neptori
A wooden woman, whose hair was a mass of apple blossoms, stood in the center of the clearing, overseeing a bear ahead in the river as it caught fish.
The bear would sense magic and run off, so that didn’t concern her, but she had no fucking clue how to deal with a damn wooden woman! “Say lady, if I chop you up into little bits and pieces are you just gonna regrow and turn into a bunch more wooden women?” Tori’s voice echoed in the clearing twice before the woman snapped her head towards her and suddenly gained skin. It was weird, messed up and warped, skin though. Unsettling to the stomach. Neptori realized that A: dryads are friendly.
The thing lept at her with long keratin nails, opening its mouth to reveal rotted shark-like teeth and two front buck teeth. She swung with the ax but the creature only landed and lunged at her again. It now had a long bleeding gash running across its chest.
And B: whatever the fuck she was fighting, was not a fucking dryad!
Uneven seams ran spiderwebs along the creature's exposed skin. Its body was eerily similar to an Elves and she hated how it moved; like a spider approaching its next meal… caught in a web… She really hoped this thing was alone. Some primal part of her began to cool into a terrified calm. A sense that only fear could drive you to achieve. She held onto it as she deflected the creature again and swiped with the blade she had. She couldn’t use her magic, it was too unstable when she consciously used it… She couldn’t risk getting knocked out though because she had never measured how long that she’s passed out for, before her subconscious uses her magic.
“Fuck!” She screamed. This fucking thing! Its blood reeked like period sex and she was nauseated into blindness for a second too long. Her arm felt tingly and when she looked down at it, there was a bleeding bite mark and a stolen sleeve. That sleeve hung in the creature's maw like a trophy as it began to circle her, palms up and nails angled. She didn’t let it see her back, she turned in circles with it.
The long handle on the Ax let her rest it on the ground for a reprieve of its weight. The metal made a terrible sound in the dirt and rocks, scraping over roots as she turned. “What are you?” She whispered. “What are you?” It whispered back, mimicking the exact way she said it. She nearly cried out in terror but refrained from doing so in case that's what it fed on— words.
It leaped for her again and she jumped with it, meeting it midair and slicing up with the Ax. The slice only got through half of the many oily layers of skin bound and rotting beneath the top layer. Neptori nearly wretched at the sight and the smell and a dark gluey substance leaked from its half severed neck. She swung again before it could get up, its head rolling to the base of the oak tree beside a mass of grass and wildflowers. “Thank fucking gods!” She sighed, she rubbed her face and found it covered in sweat. Her arm was still bleeding, her nose and mouth as well since they had been hit at some point she didn’t recall.
“Fuck!” She cried out, as if that would change where she was and what she was doing. Why did she have to do this? She didn’t trust the queen even a little, no matter how much she really wanted to.
She rolled her neck, shoulders, ankles, took a breath and then started walking after the head. It had rolled into a perfectly circular ditch at the base of that tall tuft of grass and flowers. Wait… She crouched down and reached to pick it up, just grabbing the disgusting, soggy-noodle hair when a hand reached from the grass and pulled her in. Long, jagged nails sliced at her face and chest as she held its head away with her hands. Its skin felt like it was covered in worms and egg whites. But her hands came back stained as if by ink. When they slipped and lost her grip on its neck. She rolled to avoid the teeth but this creature seemed to be smarter, it rolled too, and its buck teeth grazed Neptoris neck before she was able to wrap grass and stems around its neck and hold it there. Its hands dug into her thighs and squeezed, leaching a shrieking scream from Neptori.
The thing laughed at her, even choked and scrambled as if it was from the grass… it sounded so familiar to a laugh that a Faerie would make…
A wash of fear so cold it numbed her, came crashing into the front of her mind. She felt the plants grow around the creature, engulfing it completely and tugging its root-covered shape into the earth. She held up a hand though and its struggling, screaming form stopped being buried.
A water droplet was sucked from the air and formed in the palm of her hand. A thought and it had become ice, sharp and jagged like the creature's nails; and flying right for the creature's neck. The ice struck true, severing the head in mostly one blow. It fell and dangled from but a seam in its skinsuit. A thought and the ice blade flew back towards her waiting hand, severing the last seam before melting back into water and floating around her head.
The water didn’t feel right to her magic as it held the water in the air. But then it splashed down onto her and she felt that disgusting black good residue!
“Shit! No! Nooo…” she couldn’t quite process what had happened, not as the FairyQueen suddenly appeared before her with both heads in her hands. The mass of grass and flowers and two headless bodies, they began to burn. “Why?”
“Because my enemies will be burned for crossing me, that is the price for it.” The queen was so utterly unphased. It made Neptoris stomach blanch and she erupted with vomit. Chunks of dried meat and hard cheese. It hurt to throw it up, and the thick mucus that came with it wasnt a better pleasure. “What next?”
“Well a party dear hero! You have earned it!”

2024.05.14 11:20 khalisdar Why did my husband divorce me just because I disrespect him? Doesn’t that mean he is strong enough to handle my attitude?

As I have read lots of questions regarding "marriage" and "divorce," I think that 99.9% of people do not understand what marriage is and what a sexual relationship entails. That is why I am thinking of completing a book on this subject.
The biological approach considers sexual drives to be comparable to other physical needs, such as hunger. In this view, an individual seeks pleasure or food to reduce or avoid discomfort. The sex drive can be considered a biological requirement or urge that motivates people to seek sexual experiences and pleasure. All humans have fundamental psychological needs to maintain their mental health. Although not a fundamental need, sex is a vital component of psychological needs.
Throughout history, different cultures have possessed diverse approaches towards marriage. In ancient times, women were often married based on factors like their physical appearance, financial status, family background, or religious commitment. The upper class used to marry to preserve their lineage, religious people married for chastity, and traders married for financial status.
It's important to acknowledge that the notion of men being always faithful to their wives is not entirely accurate. It's natural for a physically strong man to be attracted to multiple women, often referred to as mistresses, and this tendency was once widely accepted. However, social conditioning and religious restrictions have led us to deny this truth and convince ourselves otherwise.
In the past, common law marriage, which is known today as living together, was practiced by the lower classes, such as peasants, pagans, Shudras, artisans, slaves, and serfs. However, religious establishments considered it adulterous, while the nobles referred to it as "Common Law Marriage" for political gain.
In Islam, the relationship between a husband and wife is built upon two core principles - affection and mercy. These principles work together to create a sense of peace and harmony within the marriage. The Quran reinforces this notion by stating that God has created spouses from among themselves so that they may find tranquility in each other and has placed between them affection and mercy. This serves as a reminder for those who ponder upon the signs of God.
It is important to understand that men are not merely sources of financial support and should not be treated as such. They are human beings with emotions, desires, and needs that should be respected and fulfilled within the bounds of a healthy and loving relationship.
In the USA, marriage often involves considerations of tax benefits and financial security, which may differ from traditional views of marriage. Additionally, marriage and divorce are now primarily legal matters rather than solely social and religious ones. The court determines divorce proceedings.

2024.05.14 11:16 Truth-or-Death1988 There Will Be Trouble and Calamity for Everyone Who Keeps on Doing What Is Evil

Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. - Proverbs 3:7-8
For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. - Ephesians 5:5
To whom shall I speak and give warning,
That they may hear?
Indeed their ear is uncircumcised,
And they cannot give heed.
Behold, the word of the Lord is a reproach to them;
They have no delight in it. – Jeremiah 6:10
“There is no fear of God before their eyes.” - Romans 3:18
The fear of the LORD leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil. - Proverbs 19:23
The fear of God is what leads to life, and this is why there are so many passages both in the OT and the NT which are meant to impart that fear of God into us. But the modern church seemingly sees the fear of God as a reproach to them, indeed they seem to only talk about the free gift, but also seem to reject that gift.
For God has not called us to live in sin. He has called us to live a holy life
Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit. – I Thessalonians 4:7-8
Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is.
Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God.
So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God. - I John 3:6-10
The churches should be imparting the fear of God into the wicked, so that they may turn from the ways of death and truly begin to know Jesus Christ. But they only seem to preach that which fills seats and wallets, as scripture warned us about:
But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves.
Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered.
In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed. – II Peter 2:1-3
Rather than fear God and convey that to others, they come up with every high-minded, theological retort that they can possibly think of in an effort to rid themselves of the very thing that leads to life.
‘For among My people are found wicked men;
They lie in wait as one who sets snares;
They set a trap;
They catch men.
As a cage is full of birds,
So their houses are full of deceit.
Therefore they have become great and grown rich.
They have grown fat, they are sleek;
Yes, they surpass the deeds of the wicked;
They do not plead the cause,
The cause of the fatherless;
Yet they prosper,
And the right of the needy they do not defend.
Shall I not punish them for these things?’ says the Lord.
‘Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?’
“An astonishing and horrible thing
Has been committed in the land:
The prophets prophesy falsely,
And the priests rule by their own power;
And My people love to have it so.
But what will you do in the end? – Jeremiah 5:26-31
“Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit.
Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know,
and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’?
Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” says the Lord. – Jeremiah 7:8-11
“Therefore you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not obey you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.
“So you shall say to them, ‘This is a nation that does not obey the voice of the Lord their God nor receive correction. Truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth. – Jeremiah 7:27-28
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty,
lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was. - I Timothy 3:3-9
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 1:9
Timothy was told to rebuke those who sin in the presence of all so that the rest may fear (I Timothy 5:20), but many leaders in modern churches seek to comfort the wicked in their sin instead. Comfort should be given to those who are remorseful for their sins, not to those who need a swift rebuke before they perish in their sins.
But what are souls compared to dollars these days?
Shall I not punish them for these things?’ says the Lord.
‘Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?’ - Jeremiah 5:10
For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery. - Job 15:34
I truly hope that even those who take part in turning people away from the way of life will repent, and soon.
The Lord Almighty says that disaster is coming on one nation after another, and a great storm is gathering at the far ends of the earth. On that day the bodies of those whom the Lord has killed will lie scattered from one end of the earth to the other. No one will mourn for them, and they will not be taken away and buried. They will lie on the ground like piles of manure.
Cry, you leaders, you shepherds of my people, cry out loud! Mourn and roll in the dust. The time has come for you to be slaughtered, and you will be butchered like rams. There will be no way for you to escape. You moan and cry out in distress because the Lord in his anger has destroyed your nation and left your peaceful country in ruins. The Lord has abandoned his people like a lion that leaves its cave. The horrors of war and the Lord's fierce anger have turned the country into a desert. - Jeremiah 25:32-38
To think that God treated His first love in such a way over their wickedness, but will spare this lukewarm, money-hungry monstrosity for doing the same things is utterly insane.
But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness.
There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism. - Romans 2:5-11
God does not change. When the people who are supposed to be His are the ones leading others to hell, His fury is just, and it will be vented.
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. - Revelation 3:2-3

2024.05.14 11:13 Truth-or-Death1988 There Will Be Trouble and Calamity for Everyone Who Keeps on Doing What Is Evil

Behold, the word of the Lord is a reproach to them;
They have no delight in it.
‘For among My people are found wicked men;
They lie in wait as one who sets snares;
They set a trap;
They catch men.
As a cage is full of birds,
So their houses are full of deceit.
Therefore they have become great and grown rich.
They have grown fat, they are sleek;
Yes, they surpass the deeds of the wicked;
They do not plead the cause,
The cause of the fatherless;
Yet they prosper,
And the right of the needy they do not defend.
Shall I not punish them for these things?’ says the Lord.
‘Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?’
“An astonishing and horrible thing
Has been committed in the land:
The prophets prophesy falsely,
And the priests rule by their own power;

2024.05.14 11:12 Truth-or-Death1988 There Will Be Trouble and Calamity for Everyone Who Keeps on Doing What Is Evil

Behold, the word of the Lord is a reproach to them;
They have no delight in it.
‘For among My people are found wicked men;
They lie in wait as one who sets snares;
They set a trap;
They catch men.
As a cage is full of birds,
So their houses are full of deceit.
Therefore they have become great and grown rich.
They have grown fat, they are sleek;
Yes, they surpass the deeds of the wicked;
They do not plead the cause,
The cause of the fatherless;
Yet they prosper,
And the right of the needy they do not defend.
Shall I not punish them for these things?’ says the Lord.
‘Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?’
“An astonishing and horrible thing
Has been committed in the land:
The prophets prophesy falsely,
And the priests rule by their own power;

‘For among My people are found wicked men;
They lie in wait as one who sets snares;
They set a trap;
They catch men.
As a cage is full of birds,
So their houses are full of deceit.
Therefore they have become great and grown rich.
They have grown fat, they are sleek;
Yes, they surpass the deeds of the wicked;
They do not plead the cause,
The cause of the fatherless;
Yet they prosper,
And the right of the needy they do not defend.
Shall I not punish them for these things?’ says the Lord.
‘Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?’
“An astonishing and horrible thing
Has been committed in the land:
The prophets prophesy falsely,
And the priests rule by their own power;
