Sorry if this is typed weird, i never post on reddit lol. I am a 19 year old white male living in the southern US, I am 6'0 and 130 pounds. I do not use any hard drugs, I do smoke a little weed in the evenings. I have a history of epilepsy, i had a grand mal seizure when I was 3 and another when i was 8. I used to take medication for it but stopped after not having seizures for a while. Since the one when I was 8, I haven't had any issues. Fast forward to last Saturday, I'm driving on the highway for about 40 minutes when my hands start curling up involuntarily. this starts to happen to my face too, to where I look like I'm trying to whistle. I also had pins and needles all over too. I pull over on the shoulder had to sit there for like 5-7 minutes before It subsided. Now I thought this was dehydration immediately, but it happened again the next morning like 5 minutes after I woke up. (I had been drinking water ever since it first happened.) After it went away I just went about my day and even drove back home, completely fine. Next day, Monday, I wake up and go to work and when I get to work, it starts happening again. So I left work and went to the doctor and on the way TO the doctor it happened 2 separate times. Got there, Got some lab work done which all came back fine. I should have an appointment with a neurologist scheduled after today though, so that's where I think the answer will be.
As far as it being related to my epilepsy, I'm not sure. I feel like these episodes last too long, and I'm completely aware and not confused at all during or after.
Dehydration? I definitely don't think so. the symptoms are similar but I've been drinking water, and even had some Powerade for the electrolytes. It wouldn't have kept happening after Saturday.
I also had the idea It could be panic attacks, but Ive had a panic attack before and while the physical symptoms were close, Im not in any fear / anxiety when this is happening. I just look like a dead bug, all folded up lmao. I've also been fairly happier / stress free before this started happening, so I don't think its stress.

I'm a digital archivist with a ~500TB collection that I'm looking to share with people. This is the first time I'm expanding access outside my small-circle of friends. I'm looking for people who are also interested in joining and building a real community of AV nerds.
The collection is primarily movies and tv shows. There is a lot of stuff that was personally ripped and you won't find elsewhere, and some "lost media" that took some effort to find.
A lot of attention was paid to "completeness" and correct organization, with over 2500 fully complete TV series and 10000 movies. Completeness includes downloading full franchises of content, so I tend to have all the special episodes/reboots/sequels/spinoffs/movie of any particular franchise. If I'm missing an episode of something, that's because it probably just isn't available ANYWHERE. Quality is almost always the best available resolution/format for whatever content is on the server.

Since I’m back from college and reunited with my piano, I find myself falling in love all over again. but the way I play is.. not the most efficient or best way, in fact there are much easier ways I could choose to learn. I want to share my journey and see if anyone else can connect.
In 7th grade, I found myself falling in love with the background songs to animes and games I played— I begged my mom for a keyboard and when I got it, I started just watching easy tutorials online for different songs..
funny to say, I still learn that same.
Not long after, I started piano lessons in 8th grade and my parents found a free piano online in town. it was old, not tuned, but I fell so in love with this piano. When covid hit, I continued my lessons online until my junior year.. I stopped showing up to my lessons though, It was horrible time for me mentally and I lost all motivation. I also want to mention I had the most lovely piano teacher, sometimes when I felt like I didn’t like how the notes sounded, she’d tell me to change it to what I liked. She wasn’t strict at all, but still so passionate and inspired me so much.
What I realized was that something so structured was hard for me to follow.. I used to be able to decently sight-read, but I cannot anymore. I have found myself liking it much more to memorize the keys and watch the way someone plays. It’s honestly a little embarrassing. I have considered my learning disability, maybe it’s apart of it, I’ve never been one to learn by the usual rules. It’s harder to remember songs when I don’t have the notes obviously, but I almost feel so much more connected to my piano when I memorize and rely on the muscle memory of my fingers moving against the keys. Closing my eyes and really absorbing the way i play, how I choose to play..
Sometimes I get upset with myself for not practicing terms, chords, sight-reading, etc. but i always burn out when I try. if anyone relates or has any comments, I would love to hear. Thank you for reading if you did go this far :)
