A couple weeks ago I noticed a few bug bites on my ankle which itched. Around the same time, I got flu like symptoms - all body sensitivity to touch, aches, drenching night sweats. The redness spread over the next few days and my ankle was swollen. The skin was not particularly hot or tight.
I saw a pharmacist about 10 days after the bite, who was concerned I needed antibiotics and should go to a GP to exclude Lyme. I got a GP appointment the next day but at this point the redness has calmed down. The GP seemed a bit frustrated I was there, she didn’t take a history and I didn’t get a chance to show the images. She advised it was a localised skin reaction to a mosquito bite or similar. I am by no means convinced I have Lyme or anything, but since it can be quite serious I thought I’d seek Reddit’s kind second opinion.

I'm on mobile, writing this brought back a lot of emotions. So if it's sloppy,I apologize.....
I've debated about posting this, but it's been a year now. So I should be ok. I've posted on Reddit before, asking about situations at the company but changed some things. So here we are, and here's a full run down of my time there
I started in May, 2019. Part time and straight out of highschool. By November, I was full time and had store keys, training to be a closing manager (RSS)
In 2020, we had a coworker stalk a new hire, as he really wanted to date her, she felt uncomfortable but since he was a manager, she felt inclined to do as he wanted. She came to me as we were close in age. I helped her talk with our boss. He was soon let go.
Then we hired another girl, and she was.... Something.
She decided that she was going to get the boss to fall for her, and be the favorite. Boss was annoyed by her, and she found it funny to walk up behind me when I was on a phone call, reach around and grab my chest. She did this in front of customers as well. Our store had no cameras.
Even after I told her to knock it off, she kept on. Soon the customers were trying to treat me the same. Trying to touch me, asking if they can "Rent me" and other gross things.
I'd told my boss, SM. But at the time, we had a very.... Slow to act DM. So nothing was done.
One day, I was training a new hire. I was on the phone with a customer, and he was beside me at the counter with a customer. She walked up behind me, reached around, but this time, one hand went up, one went down and she was telling our new hire "it's ok to do this cause there's no cameras" and slowly started undoing the buttons on my shirt.
I'd gotten permission from my boss at the time to react in anyway I had to to get her off me, as our DM didn't want to get involved but wouldn't allow him to fire her.
so I kicked her as hard as I could. She fell, and started laughing. After she left, I explained to him what's been going on. He understood but was upset and uncomfortable, not that I blame him. She'd been written up for this before.
The next day, DM was there. New hire had called tips, and told them if they didn't do anything about this he would go public, forcing the DM to do something. Well, we found out this day, that we had a new DM. As the company "had decided due to so many complaints under this DM, that they needed to take him from DM, and make him a SM again for awhile"
This one took swift action. She was canned. After this, the new hires we got were so much better. But unfortunately, the system we used, showed our phone numbers and addresses. So this, now ex coworker, started stalking me. Sending me threatening messages and following me home, company said just block and ignore. Police wouldn't help til she did something threatening my life. I'd come outside to my tires all flat, my car scratched, I'd be followed home, it was a mess. A few times I'd be followed, run off the road, one morning on the way to work, I called the store and told them I was being followed. Everyone knew by now what was happening, and they watched as I pulled in, my SM went outside to tell the girl to leave, as she tried to slam her car into mine. I'd Changed everything by then, moved, new number, new route to abd from work. Hadn't seen her in awhile.
I left that store in Feb of 2021, and went to a bigger store to be trained as a ASM and as a safety precaution, to create more space in case the chic came back. (As she still circled the store time to time) Once there, I helped run the store. I was there til August of that same year, I was "loaned" out to help a different store, but still was expected to run my second store. As the SM was out due to family issues.
So now I'm running two stores, one store where no one respects the store manager, and one store where there is no store manager. So I'm training people at one location while running this other store as the store manager is sleeping off a hangover In the office.
During this, I was training some guys from the second store, and on October 19th, 2021. I had been at store #3 getting stuff ready for the upcoming inventory, so I got home around 12AM. My phone was dead, I was tired and I had a husky needing to go outside. When two of the guys I was training pull up. They had gotten my address off of the computer and were here because "they were sick of the management and needed me back there" they knew what apartment number I was so they ran up the stairs and beat me to the door. I was tired and not in the mood to get into it that night, so they passed out on the couch and next morning, I'm being called due to them not coming in. So I answer and told them that they are currently passed out on my couch, I got in trouble for them not coming into work.
It went smoothly for awhile, then December 13th, 2021 comes along. At this time, my relationship with my mother was rocky. I had gone low contact with her. I also never told anyone my business, as I figured it wasn't anyones need to know. My personal life stays personal. Well, two store managers take it upon themselves to integrate me. It's their day off, so I'm running the store, only have one delivery driver that day, short staffed, they pull up and have me go into the back of the store, which has no walls. So everyone can hear what's being said.
And they lay into me. For 3hrs til I'm in tears and have told them everything that went on with my mother and why we're low contact. The store manager decides she's going to be my hero and go confront my mother, have her husband beat my mother up and have this show down. They told me to not worry, return to work and they'll handle it. And left. Leaving me crying, shaking and still trying to run a store, get people to lunch and my teams now more focused on me, what they heard in the conversation and some are calling the DM to report what just happened. This made a very awkward month, as now DM is involved, the SM's got a talking to and I had to relive this twice more. Once with the DM, then HR. Tho HR labeled this a "in house issue" and weren't willing to help.
After this, it calmed down. The SM's were now out to get me for "getting them in trouble" but otherwise, it seemed fine. Tho I was working with the store managers daughter, so she kept her mom updated, and made sure to mention my mothers abuse towards me and tell others about it as well. She liked the gossip of it.
Then on March 5th, 2022. The store managers daughter had been slacking. Big time. On her phone in the office, taking "favors" for reduced product, or just ignoring her job and making others pick up the slack. I was spread thin, mentally and physically. Trying to help with training a new store manager, training staff at my second store, and keeping this third one up. So when I was catching up on freight, and found she was off in the back on her phone watching TikTok, I got on her about it. She got upset, and said "you've been really moody lately. I think you're pregnant" to which I told her I'm stressed trying to get stuff going, I haven't had a break in awhile, and you aren't helping at all.( She also has this mindset that I slept with my first store manager. And that I was still with him and pregnant by him. )
She rolled her eyes, and on her break, she went out and bought a pregnancy test. When she returns, she hides my clipboard and paperwork, and had blocked my car in. Then, in front of the few staff I had that day, announces that I'm to take this pregnancy test, or she'll destroy the paperwork, and tell the SM that I wasn't actually in store, didn't do my paperwork and have been flaky. She had the DM and SM's wrapped around her finger. So I told her this isn't appropriate and that I'd rather not. This went back and forth, to the point of her getting in the way of me answering phones and helping customers, she'd physically take the phone from my hand and hang up, or tell the customer that I couldn't help them at this time.
So I told her, if I do, I'm going home for the rest of the day. I had 2 hours left of my shift. She said fine. But she needed to be in the bathroom as I took it, so I don't "cheat".
After that, she moved her car and I left. For the day. Went home, called HR. They told me it's an in store issue, and unfortunately they rather not get involved with it. So I told the DM. He had already received reports from the other staff, telling him what happened. She was talked to, but that's it. For the rest of the week, she talked about how cute it would be if I had a baby with my first SM, asked about what he was like in bed and if we did it in the store - this SM and I were close, he was a father figure/role model to me. If I couldn't figure something out, he was my first call. She ruined the friendship I had with him, as we both felt awkward when we worked together due to her. As she told her mom and the gossip spread like wildfire.
March 15th, 2022. I requested a week off. I needed a break, my car needed maintenance and I figured I would head to the ocean with my husky for a couple days. So the first day off, the 12th, I drop my car off at the dealership so they can replace a recall. They say it'll be 5 hours so I walk around town, just relaxing. Then they tell me that unfortunately, they found a new issue and are going to keep my car for a month, and have no way of giving me a loaner. I try to figure out why and it's the runaround, my buddy comes to my aid and helps me get my stuff from my car as they wouldn't let me back there to get my stuff. Then we go to my mother's house to try and get the spare car I have. But the rack and pinion blew on it the same day. So next day I spend trying to tear it apart. I get halfway through when work calls, and let's me know my vacation request ends early as the SM's daughter had an emergency and I need to cover for her. I tell them I'm without a car, in a city an hour away, and the SM says "not my problem. Figure it out. I need you in. If you aren't in, I'm writing you up and firing you"
So I rush to get the car going, and on the 14th, Im stressed, tired, sore and anxious. I push a tool a bit to hard and it slips on grease, comes flying out of the wheel well and hits me in the head, hard. My mother comes back an hour later to find me knocked out. My first concussion. (By this time, we'd had a better relationship/understanding and were working towards building it)
So that night, she drops me off at my apartment. No rental places had any cars, so that morning, I grab my scooter, my husky, and walk the 4hrs to the store. Two hours in, I start to have an asthma attack. My body's shaking, my heads killing me, but we get there. Almost falling in the parking lot. We get in, I sit by the door catching my breath. A driver who used to volunteer at the fire station, comes over and checks my pulse, gets worried and recommends I go to the ER. I tell him I'm okay, the SM has already left for the day. So I need to be here to close. I get cleaned up, and the DM calls. Saying the SM called to tell him I hadn't shown up, and to ask where I was. I told him I just walked there, im wheezing and he's concerned too. I tell him she threatened to fire me if I didn't get here. He said he'd talk to her. Nothing ever came of it.
July 6th, 2022. The DM decided to move me permanently back to my 2nd store, as the store manager was going through personal stuff and I was needed there. So I went. It had been a couple weeks before this, but on the 6th, my shifts were 7am to 7pm. Or til 9:30 if the closer didn't come in. So I come in on time, start working, and go into the back of the store to get hose for a customer. I'm still feeling the symptoms of the concussion from March, but power through. I'm not sure how, but I managed to slip on a piece of paper, fall back and hit the base of my skull on the shelf, then when I was getting up, hit my forehead on it too. A coworker came looking for me. And found me, in his words "in a puddle of blood". He gets me up and takes care of the customer, and gets me to the bathroom and cleaned up. Then we go to the SM and let her know.
She says "You're standing up. You can work. Clean yourself up and get on the counter" I had a two week vacation scheduled, starting the next day. So she thought I was trying to get off work early. Something I had never done. So I go the front after cleaning myself up, the nasty gash on my head swelling up and getting attention. The store is hot, it's 90 outside, and I'm in my jacket shivering cause I'm cold. This happened at about 9AM. I went to her at 12PM and requested a break so I could go out to my car, grab some pain pills and come back. She said no, as I might not return. So I worked through it. I tried calling a couple people to see if they could cover me, as I was feeling worse and worse. But nothing. By 3, a coworker comes in and sees me. His shift didn't start for another two hours, but he immediately told me to go home.
By how, the SM has sent two others home early as we were " slow" and didn't need them. She also wanted to leave, which would mean I'd be the only manager there. He was a manager in training. But he counted my til down and the SM said as I left "since you don't feel good, maybe you shouldn't go to your sister's and just relax. But if I see any pictures of you on vacation after this, I'll know you lied to get out of it."
I went out to my car, which was a 2019 base model Sentra, I left at 4pm. I didn't get home til 8:30/9pm. A drive, with traffic takes an hour. My car had no lane deparcher or blindspot monitoring. When I pulled into my spot at my boyfriend's apartment, as I had moved in with him after coworkers kept finding out where I lived, or gave my address out to random people. My car was scratched up, the rims had curb rash, the passenger side had scratches. I don't know where I went or why it took so long to get home. I remember getting into my car, turning it on, turning on the A/C and that's it.
I went inside and passed out on the bed, my boyfriend couldn't wake me up for dinner, next morning my mother came and got me, taking me to the ER. I had yet another concussion. The doctor told me to stay away from screens, loud noises, drink water and just relax. Refrain from hitting my head again.
After my vacation, I returned with a letter of resignation. As I did some thinking. I couldn't stand the job anymore, the gossip, the crap... The random guys who would get my number and say "someone gave me your number at the store." And I'd have to change my number again. I have a folder of some of the weirdest ones.
I gave my resignation to the SM I currently was under. She denied it. Said no, she needed me to run her store while she took care of stuff, but this was the same SM who believed that I slept with my first SM, denied my raise and SM training as "according to the 3rd store I was sent to. I didn't do anything of what I was supposed to do, got the SM and her friend and the daughter in trouble, I took my vacations without thinking of anyone else"
I went to my first SM, he faxed the paperwork in. My last day was scheduled for August 18th, 2022. Clearly stated on my resignation letter. I gave my two weeks notice on Aug. 4th. 2022.
Everyone started freaking out in management. My DM tried getting me to stay, as it was a shock to him. But I couldn't. On my last day, she scheduled me for a closing shift. With nothing on the following days. She put me on for that Saturday. She calls me, asking where I am. I tell her my last day was Thursday. She tells me no. That she decides when my last day is, and I'm needed there right now. She thought we had talked it out, and that I would "come to my senses" and see reasoning. I told her I was firm on no longer working there, and I had already turned in all my keys. She blew up. Calling me every name in the book, degrading me, she called other stores and a lot of my friends there, turned on me. As she told them straight lies.
I blocked everyone as I started getting hate messages, people commenting on my social media, saying awful stuff. It was hell. I blocked everyone, and for awhile. I had to block accounts or deactivate my stuff. Finally, it all stopped.
I thought I was going to be with that company forever. I missed friends events for it. Family stuff, and events I wanted to go to, cuz of the job..,.. but in the end, those who were assholes to me, got placed in higher positions. Praised for "dealing with everything" and took credit for everything I did. I still get messages asking how to do something, but those go unanswered.
I miss the challenges, the interactions with customers and cars. But I don't miss how HR worked. How tight some are, that they can easily sway things to benefit them just cuz they know each other outside of the company.
It was fun. But I'm glad I got out, and it's burned me... I miss certain people there. But I can't ever be positive about that company again

I'm not sure how, but I managed to slip on a piece of paper, fall back and hit the base of my skull on the shelf, then when I was getting up, hit my forehead on it too. A coworker came looking for me. And found me, in his words "in a puddle of blood". He gets me up and takes care of the customer, and gets me to the bathroom and cleaned up. Then we go to the SM and let her know.
She says "You're standing up. You can work. Clean yourself up and get on the counter" I had a two week vacation scheduled, starting the next day. So she thought I was trying to get off work early. Something I had never done. So I go the front after cleaning myself up, the nasty gash on my head swelling up and getting attention. The store is hot, it's 90 outside, and I'm in my jacket shivering cause I'm cold. This happened at about 9AM. I went to her at 12PM and requested a break so I could go out to my car, grab some pain pills and come back. She said no, as I might not return. So I worked through it. I tried calling a couple people to see if they could cover me, as I was feeling worse and worse. But nothing. By 3, a coworker comes in and sees me. His shift didn't start for another two hours, but he immediately told me to go home.
By how, the SM has sent two others home early as we were " slow" and didn't need them. She also wanted to leave, which would mean I'd be the only manager there. He was a manager in training. But he counted my til down and the SM said as I left "since you don't feel good, maybe you shouldn't go to your sister's and just relax. But if I see any pictures of you on vacation after this, I'll know you lied to get out of it."
I went out to my car, which was a 2019 base model Sentra, I left at 4pm. I didn't get home til 8:30/9pm. A drive, with traffic takes an hour. My car had no lane deparcher or blindspot monitoring. When I pulled into my spot at my boyfriend's apartment, as I had moved in with him after coworkers kept finding out where I lived, or gave my address out to random people. My car was scratched up, the rims had curb rash, the passenger side had scratches. I don't know where I went or why it took so long to get home. I remember getting into my car, turning it on, turning on the A/C and that's it.
I went inside and passed out on the bed, my boyfriend couldn't wake me up for dinner, next morning my mother came and got me, taking me to the ER. I had yet another concussion. The doctor told me to stay away from screens, loud noises, drink water and just relax. Refrain from hitting my head again.
After my vacation, I returned with a letter of resignation. As I did some thinking. I couldn't stand the job anymore, the gossip, the crap... The random guys who would get my number and say "someone gave me your number at the store." And I'd have to change my number again. I have a folder of some of the weirdest ones.
I gave my resignation to the SM I currently was under. She denied it. Said no, she needed me to run her store while she took care of stuff, but this was the same SM who believed that I slept with my first SM, denied my raise and SM training as "according to the 3rd store I was sent to. I didn't do anything of what I was supposed to do, got the SM and her friend and the daughter in trouble, I took my vacations without thinking of anyone else"
I went to my first SM, he faxed the paperwork in. My last day was scheduled for August 18th, 2022. Clearly stated on my resignation letter. I gave my two weeks notice on Aug. 4th. 2022.
Everyone started freaking out in management. My DM tried getting me to stay, as it was a shock to him. But I couldn't. On my last day, she scheduled me for a closing shift. With nothing on the following days. She put me on for that Saturday. She calls me, asking where I am. I tell her my last day was Thursday. She tells me no. That she decides when my last day is, and I'm needed there right now. She thought we had talked it out, and that I would "come to my senses" and see reasoning. I told her I was firm on no longer working there, and I had already turned in all my keys. She blew up. Calling me every name in the book, degrading me, she called other stores and a lot of my friends there, turned on me. As she told them straight lies.
I blocked everyone as I started getting hate messages, people commenting on my social media, saying awful stuff. It was hell. I blocked everyone, and for awhile. I had to block accounts or deactivate my stuff. Finally, it all stopped.
I thought I was going to be with that company forever. I missed friends events for it. Family stuff, and events I wanted to go to, cuz of the job..,.. but in the end, those who were assholes to me, got placed in higher positions. Praised for "dealing with everything" and took credit for everything I did. I still get messages asking how to do something, but those go unanswered.
I miss the challenges, the interactions with customers and cars. But I don't miss how HR worked. How tight some are, that they can easily sway things to benefit them just cuz they know each other outside of the company.
It was fun. But I'm glad I got out, and it's burned me... I miss certain people there. But I can't ever be positive about that company again

I have been with him for one year now since April, things were…okay… of course we had our ups and downs but he had never hit me before…he did throw something at my car and break my back window when we fought but, I had honestly forgiven him for it. But two days ago we got into an argument because he makes me take care of his daughter everyday all day. He does not even hang out with her half the time anymore. She doesn’t like listening to me for nothing because I’m (in her eyes) the evil stepmother… even though I try so hard, but I understand as a young girl I would’ve hated my dads new girlfriend too. But to get back to what happened, he absolutely blew up, he grabbed his headphones and threw them directly at my face hitting my nose instantly drawing blood. I got on my knees crying in front of him looking down at my hand while blood is pouring on it. I looked to my side to see his daughter and sister just watching me with horror in their eyes. I glanced back at him and he just turned around and went back to playing his game like nothing had happened. Didn’t care to ask how I was, and before anyone asks no I have no family to run too, My mother died 2 years ago to cancer and she was all I had. His daughter now uses that against me, I’m pretty sure it made her happy to see her dad do that to me. His family will always choose him, his mom told me to relax and basically get over it. I cried all that night, the next day my eyes were so swollen. He came into the room and apologized, crying, saying he wasn't aiming for my face and that he just got triggered. At this point i have opened my eyes to the fact he could get worse over time. It’s hard because I do love him, very deeply, and I told him if he ever did it again I would leave him and we agreed, and he’s fine like nothing ever happened while my nose is in pain and swollen. It’s honestly really embarrassing, and sad. So many questions, Why did he do it? Will he do it again? I thought he loved me? Do people that love you do that?

Hi everyone, this is sort of long-winded but I hope it makes sense. I'm 5'6" and 155lbs, and I don't drink or smoke anything.
My (F23) health issues started in late December of 2022. I started struggling with fatigue and my skin began to itch, all over my body, with no rash. It feels like the type of itch I get from seasonal allergies. Additionally, I started experiencing neck pain in my thyroid area which ended up being thyroid cancer and I had my thyroid removed in March 2024. I thought that the under-skin itching was tied to my thyroid cancer since the itching and neck pain started at the same time, but I've completed the thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine therapy and have felt no change in the itching. What's also developed is that my skin flushes/gets red and blotchy very easily which it never used to do. Also, if anything is pressing against my skin, say if I cross my legs, then huge red blotches form wherever there was something pressed against them. This has never happened to me before the itching started either. I've tried antihistamines, gabapentin, Xolair injections, and been prescribed several rounds of prednisone, all of which haven't touched the itch. I've seen my primary care physician, a neurologist, rheumatologist, two allergists, a dermatologist, and an infectious disease doctor (I had mono in May 2022 and got the COVID booster shot in September of 2022 and we didn't know if that was correlated with it), and no one can figure out why I'm itching or make it stop.
Additionally, a lump in my right groin area appeared in the middle of last year, about 6 months after the itching started. I got an ultrasound done then and they didn't find anything, so I let it go. However, the lump hasn't gone away and has slowly gotten more prominent over time. I went to my primary care physician last week and she said it felt like a swollen lymph node and I had another ultrasound done, and I'm still waiting for the results.
Prior to getting mono, I was perfectly healthy. The itching is so unbearable that I can't wear 90% of my wardrobe and I have to take 4 different medications to be able to fall asleep at night. It has completely destroyed my quality of life and I don't know what to do.

Am I the only one that has a very disconnected MIL? She seems to only reach out to me personally if there’s an issue or topic to talk about. My son has a bad diaper rash, my husband told her about it and she randomly texted me saying “I’ve been worried! How’s he doing?” And when I responded, she didn’t reply and then the next morning sends another text saying “how’s my baby doing today?”
Am I the only that cannot stand when someone, especially a MIL, says "MY baby" like no thats your grandson. Is it out of line to ask her to stop referring him as “my baby?”
i also feel really annoyed to never be asked how I am personally doing, or greeted in a text saying hi, how are you etc… and in this example recently, to not respond and then text again the next day saying "hows my baby doing" is on my nerves!
I’ve also noticed how she doesn’t ever interact with photos I post on Facebook, and only comments on my husbands photos. If I’m in the photo, doesn’t comment or like it. It’s super apparent that even my own mom is noticing.
And also seems like a competition between love for her son? He received an award at work and she asked if I cried at the ceremony banquet, because she cried on the phone when he told her the news a few weeks later… saying “how could you just NOT cry at that”
Also asks me to send her videos and photos of my son because she wants to see it and show everyone she knows on how smart he is…
This is a woman that lives in another state and barely calls/never FaceTimes. Makes zero effort it seems but wants a ton of credit.
How should I address this? Or am I just overreacting here lol
More historical context: to add…. I have always had a problem with her since my son was born. To give more context… she has gossiped about my mom and dads personal health to my sister in law, she’s made comments about the skin tone of my son when I am half Filipino and she is white, and once questioned how my son has blue eyes when no one in the family on her side has blue eyes — just to give more glimpse of her past behavior. Additionally, this prior December - my husband and I experienced a miscarriage. We told her not to tell anyone. But got on the phone with me one night and started talking about how she told her neighbors about the loss. Because she was hurting just as bad as the kids grandma. Then the next day, told my brother in law that she prefers — she — not to tell her sisters and brothers etc, the news until after the holidays because she doesn’t want to make them sad. When that isn’t news to make a decision of telling on mine and my husbands behalf. Not only this, but has made comments to me about her coworkers… one about how an autistic coworker got on her nerves when her grand daughter from her other son’s family is actually autistic.
To add — am I overreacting here? I don’t know what is wrong and right anymore. I feel like these things and comments that have happened are so strange, there’s more to the story for sure but can’t add everything or we would be reading a novel — but I can expect her to tell my husband that I am not communicating to her either so trying to get a game plan to explain myself and just advice if I’m the problem

Hello reddit, am not here to often as i like, but i have to have a opinion made from a nutrual part.
sorry for any spelling errors, i have dyelexia and english is not my first language.
we have 6 kids in total and 3 are with me.
So to begin this story of my 9 year relationship we have had our ups and down like everyone else, my wife has for instant been Captured taking pictures of her self naked to other men 6 times, and i forgave her everytime due to it just was a picture and she never touch the guy. so my jealousy was really bad as we never workt on that trust really, we just went on with our relationship and i was clingy and did not really like her going out to much as we had small kids and they have neurodevelopmental disorders like ahd autisum. as soon as she got a job again she would cheat after 3 months in that job. we had financial problems to loosing jobs getting them back and going in debt due over it.
but the last 3 months i found out that she was talking to someone from my gutfeeling and checkt it out, and i was right, the guy she was talking to she had sent pictures and more to before, they talkt about how much they mean to each other and that they love each other, and sent nudes to. that was her breaking point, i told her what do we do as i stod there and cryed to her why ? and she said i dont know, then all out of the blue she explained she had feeling for the guy, and she is never allowed to go out and drink with friends or hang out with her guy friends as i was jealous, she said give me space and let me see if the feeling disapers, i call the guys wife and let her know what happend and we talkt for about 2h about this and cry to each other, she still tryes to get with the guy and the guy says he wants to be with my ex wife, but then the other wife said that she is pregnant and he came running back to her, i was ready to leave by then, but my wife insist we should just give it time and space to se if the feelings get back to her.
enter friend girlfriend O to my ex wife and me. She told me she would spy on ex wife even tho i said no dont.
so enter our friend K is a 40+ year old friend of both of us, more to the wife tho. K and my ex wife start talking about the situation.
K and my ex still made me jealous as it was a fresh wound and we really did not talk about it.
now my ex wife has to go to her sisters to watch her kids as she is going to a party, and while she is there we talk alot over snapchat and she sends really hot pictures of her to me, and i tell her what i would like to do with her, after that day she comes home and we have sex and try to work on it, but after the sex she is cold as ice after and only hangs with K. she tells me my friends want me to go on a event in the city with live music and drinks, this is a test if ur jealousy is ok if not i will leave she said. i was in terapi about my jealousy by now.
so that day rolls around she goes out with her girlfriend O and have fun and during the night i still talk to her on snap. she says she lost her friend O and lookt for 20mins to find them, and was really sad as the girlfriend O just wanted her to hook up with others and she said no, they went to a pub and drank and girlfriend O wanted to take a taxi home but my ex wife said no and walkt home, i greet her at the door with a hug and say did you have fun and did you get home safe with someone ? as i dont really like her to walk where we live alone. this was my ex wifes story.
she said no we walkt to this pub and took a few drinks and my girlfriend wanted me to hook up with people so i just walkt home alone and called my mom. this is really late at night to.
so que next day after she sleept the rush of, i get a text from the girlfriend O that she was faithfull and she took a taxi home and i had my eyes on her all the time and we did not run in to K at all,
my ex wife then tells me we did run in to K, but i only said hi and we walkt away, and i confront the Girlfriend O how she could lie about taking a taxi and leaving my ex wife to walk alone, and she swears my ex wife took the taxi home with them, i really just wanted her to be safe around these events. later after i push Girlfriend O harder my ex wife tells me she walkt with K home as she did not want to go in a taxi after feeling abit sick,
i tell her why did you just not tell me that right away ? then you would be jealous she said and act angry, i told her no am glad K took you home safe just dont lie about it.
i then later that night text K thanks for taking my ex wife home safe. means alot ur a good guy, and K start going on about the night, how they meet in the crowd and went on rides and did not find Girlfriend O and they went to the pub and had a drink and then Girlfriend O called her and askt where ex wife was, so they meet up in the pub and then we walkt home to you, K lives like 300m away from us so nothing wierd if they walk right ?, i was like ok thanks for taking care of her and next time she might just go with you as she clearly had more fun with you K. and then he dropt a bomb on me, are you guys devorcing or are you still trying ? and i say still trying. and he finds it wierd as he said "because sometimes we talk and type" and "sometimes you and her talk and type" and i call him right away and ask him to be upfront about it, he said he will call in 2h ok fine i think, but my wife is typing like crazy on her phone then, and locks the screen as i get close, another red flag, i call him and ask him to clearfy that statment, and he said no we just talking like about you guys and then sometimes i see you type to her some cute message or stuff, witch i do.
this makes my wife devorce me, and i beg and plead to let us give it a chance again and this time be honest with each other. after alot of work we still devorce but as we have kids we still count as married for 6 months, and we both agreed we would use that time to se if we can find back, as she cant keep the apartment due to debt as we had to get my dad to co sign it. i was ready to move and take me my dad off the contract, making her homeless with 6 kids, witch i did not want to, but as i had debt to and my father wanted to support me and could not stay on 2 contracts he said he will help me.
i think fine but still the feeling of K and my ex wife never leaves, so i rig a webcam at my pc to spy on her as i go out to buy a mothersday gift, she finds the webcam and start to scream and become balistic on me that i never trust her and that i was dissgusting for invading her privacy she permanently deleted the file with Shift Delete. i feel so bad i called my therapist and admitted what i did and she help me formulate a good apology and i go and tell her am really sorry in a really good way and explain why i did it and that it still was not ok, she just gave me the cold shoulder and said she dont feel safe here anymore at all, all i wanted was proof if she was really sending Pictures to K to. ex wife now uses all her free time with K and dont care at all about the kids, i work like 11h weekends shifts as am in health care for disabled kids/adults, so i cant leave they need me, and her 15 year old calls me and tells me she is out with the dog and talking to K and has been out there for 30 mins and the kids are screaming, i call her angry and tell her to get back inside and take care of the kids, and she just tells me atleast am walking the dog. well its her dog so i really dont care to much about animals like that so.
friday that night she walks home to K to drink, K has problems with alchole, i just got off a 11h shift, my youngest kids is sick and keeps waking up so i have to go up and put him to sleep again and again, and i have another 11h tomorrow i have to do, so i call her and tell her to get home, i give my kids some medicin and go wait for my ex wife witch takes about 2h to get home, remember its about a 300m walk. she really just did not want to go home i guess. she talk about how they where drinking and talking to his parents and planing a trip 2h away to K's parents to see if she would miss me she said, i tell her no why ? why cant you just stay at ur moms or other girlfriends ? and she said i already told them i would be going so i kinda have to. week go by and i keep trying to make pysical contact with her in hugs or massaging her feet after work as her feet get really swollen, i cook for her and make time to watch some tv shows that week, and saturday comes around
she is now giving me the cold shoulder again and we get in a fight about her leaving with K, i tell her i will write my name off the contract and leav so u can be with K i dont care, and she starts crying and tells me to wait abit and walks the dog, i look inside her backpack she packed for the trip and find a sexy night gown i bought for her in there, i confront her about that to, and she just says she has nothing else to wear while going to sleep. i give her my t-shirt and toss that night gown away and tell her use this. and i got so angry i started kissing her and hugging her, she leaves, and i type to her that am sorry for kissing you and stuff as we both feelt we needed time to get there the week where we had fun. she tells me it was nice and we should do it more often. she stays the night there at his parents place she calls me and tells me they arrived and everything so i feel good about this as we just kissed, i have been bending my back so hard to clean, work on my self, have the meals ready and stuff, i work almost only weekends so i take care of it as she works on weeks.
but sunday she comes home and we talk about about what she did and if she had fun, she did tell me she really missed me during that time and that gave me hope again, but still the feeling of K did not leave.

sorry for any spelling errors, i have dyelexia and english is not my first language.
we have 6 kids in total and 3 are with me.
So to begin this story of my 9 year relationship we have had our ups and down like everyone else, my wife has for instant been Captured taking pictures of her self naked to other men 6 times, and i forgave her everytime due to it just was a picture and she never touch the guy. so my jealousy was really bad as we never workt on that trust really, we just went on with our relationship and i was clingy and did not really like her going out to much as we had small kids and they have neurodevelopmental disorders like ahd autisum. as soon as she got a job again she would cheat after 3 months in that job. we had financial problems to loosing jobs getting them back and going in debt due over it.
but the last 3 months i found out that she was talking to someone from my gutfeeling and checkt it out, and i was right, the guy she was talking to she had sent pictures and more to before, they talkt about how much they mean to each other and that they love each other, and sent nudes to. that was her breaking point, i told her what do we do as i stod there and cryed to her why ? and she said i dont know, then all out of the blue she explained she had feeling for the guy, and she is never allowed to go out and drink with friends or hang out with her guy friends as i was jealous, she said give me space and let me see if the feeling disapers, i call the guys wife and let her know what happend and we talkt for about 2h about this and cry to each other, she still tryes to get with the guy and the guy says he wants to be with my ex wife, but then the other wife said that she is pregnant and he came running back to her, i was ready to leave by then, but my wife insist we should just give it time and space to se if the feelings get back to her.

K and my ex still made me jealous as it was a fresh wound and we really did not talk about it.

so that day rolls around she goes out with her girlfriend O and have fun and during the night i still talk to her on snap. she says she lost her friend O and lookt for 20mins to find them, and was really sad as the girlfriend O just wanted her to hook up with others and she said no, they went to a pub and drank and girlfriend O wanted to take a taxi home but my ex wife said no and walkt home, i greet her at the door with a hug and say did you have fun and did you get home safe with someone ? as i dont really like her to walk where we live alone. this was my ex wifes story.
she said no we walkt to this pub and took a few drinks and my girlfriend wanted me to hook up with people so i just walkt home alone and called my mom. this is really late at night to.
so que next day after she sleept the rush of, i get a text from the girlfriend O that she was faithfull and she took a taxi home and i had my eyes on her all the time and we did not run in to K at all,
my ex wife then tells me we did run in to K, but i only said hi and we walkt away, and i confront the Girlfriend O how she could lie about taking a taxi and leaving my ex wife to walk alone, and she swears my ex wife took the taxi home with them, i really just wanted her to be safe around these events. later after i push Girlfriend O harder my ex wife tells me she walkt with K home as she did not want to go in a taxi after feeling abit sick,
i tell her why did you just not tell me that right away ? then you would be jealous she said and act angry, i told her no am glad K took you home safe just dont lie about it.
i then later that night text K thanks for taking my ex wife home safe. means alot ur a good guy, and K start going on about the night, how they meet in the crowd and went on rides and did not find Girlfriend O and they went to the pub and had a drink and then Girlfriend O called her and askt where ex wife was, so they meet up in the pub and then we walkt home to you, K lives like 300m away from us so nothing wierd if they walk right ?, i was like ok thanks for taking care of her and next time she might just go with you as she clearly had more fun with you K. and then he dropt a bomb on me, are you guys devorcing or are you still trying ? and i say still trying. and he finds it wierd as he said "because sometimes we talk and type" and "sometimes you and her talk and type" and i call him right away and ask him to be upfront about it, he said he will call in 2h ok fine i think, but my wife is typing like crazy on her phone then, and locks the screen as i get close, another red flag, i call him and ask him to clearfy that statment, and he said no we just talking like about you guys and then sometimes i see you type to her some cute message or stuff, witch i do.
this makes my wife devorce me, and i beg and plead to let us give it a chance again and this time be honest with each other. after alot of work we still devorce but as we have kids we still count as married for 6 months, and we both agreed we would use that time to se if we can find back, as she cant keep the apartment due to debt as we had to get my dad to co sign it. i was ready to move and take me my dad off the contract, making her homeless with 6 kids, witch i did not want to, but as i had debt to and my father wanted to support me and could not stay on 2 contracts he said he will help me.
i think fine but still the feeling of K and my ex wife never leaves, so i rig a webcam at my pc to spy on her as i go out to buy a mothersday gift, she finds the webcam and start to scream and become balistic on me that i never trust her and that i was dissgusting for invading her privacy she permanently deleted the file with Shift Delete. i feel so bad i called my therapist and admitted what i did and she help me formulate a good apology and i go and tell her am really sorry in a really good way and explain why i did it and that it still was not ok, she just gave me the cold shoulder and said she dont feel safe here anymore at all, all i wanted was proof if she was really sending Pictures to K to. ex wife now uses all her free time with K and dont care at all about the kids, i work like 11h weekends shifts as am in health care for disabled kids/adults, so i cant leave they need me, and her 15 year old calls me and tells me she is out with the dog and talking to K and has been out there for 30 mins and the kids are screaming, i call her angry and tell her to get back inside and take care of the kids, and she just tells me atleast am walking the dog. well its her dog so i really dont care to much about animals like that so.
friday that night she walks home to K to drink, K has problems with alchole, i just got off a 11h shift, my youngest kids is sick and keeps waking up so i have to go up and put him to sleep again and again, and i have another 11h tomorrow i have to do, so i call her and tell her to get home, i give my kids some medicin and go wait for my ex wife witch takes about 2h to get home, remember its about a 300m walk. she really just did not want to go home i guess. she talk about how they where drinking and talking to his parents and planing a trip 2h away to K's parents to see if she would miss me she said, i tell her no why ? why cant you just stay at ur moms or other girlfriends ? and she said i already told them i would be going so i kinda have to. week go by and i keep trying to make pysical contact with her in hugs or massaging her feet after work as her feet get really swollen, i cook for her and make time to watch some tv shows that week, and saturday comes around
she is now giving me the cold shoulder again and we get in a fight about her leaving with K, i tell her i will write my name off the contract and leav so u can be with K i dont care, and she starts crying and tells me to wait abit and walks the dog, i look inside her backpack she packed for the trip and find a sexy night gown i bought for her in there, i confront her about that to, and she just says she has nothing else to wear while going to sleep. i give her my t-shirt and toss that night gown away and tell her use this. and i got so angry i started kissing her and hugging her, she leaves, and i type to her that am sorry for kissing you and stuff as we both feelt we needed time to get there the week where we had fun. she tells me it was nice and we should do it more often. she stays the night there at his parents place she calls me and tells me they arrived and everything so i feel good about this as we just kissed, i have been bending my back so hard to clean, work on my self, have the meals ready and stuff, i work almost only weekends so i take care of it as she works on weeks.
but sunday she comes home and we talk about about what she did and if she had fun, she did tell me she really missed me during that time and that gave me hope again, but still the feeling of K did not leave.

Hello fellow BPD family. To start, I’m sorry we all have to suffer with this illness, and for those in remission, thank you for being strong for yourself and others.
Short back story - im 20. adopted off the street as a baby after developing as a fetus on the streets. Didn’t meet real mom till 18. Lived with her for a year and it was fucked. Raised by an extremely strict, restrictive, evangelical family. Showed symptoms of BPD in third grade. Response was to homeschool me. No doctors. Acted out as expected and was told I’m demon possessed blah blah blah. Then turn out to be gay. Get reprimanded by them and the church I was part of which was the only social part of my life I had. Boom, as expected, fell straight into bad habits and into the deep of BPD. Weed and nicotine everyday for 4 years and counting (started at 17, about to be 21). Benzos whenever I can find them. Utter hopelessness and loss of self. Crippling stress and anxiety. I wake up and my heart rate shoots to 130bpm the minute I open my eyes. You all know and understand this aspect and the rest of these symptoms, the glorious BPD/PTSD combo. Add in my poor development in the womb and here we are.
So, again as expected, the physical health has started going down. GI issues have ramped up, I’ve had a swollen lymph node in my neck for 2 years and it’s getting worse by the day, I’m getting another bump in my neck, I feel chronically sick everyday… and I’m only 20. Sure, I can try therapy, but one, the church I was forced into it and unfortunately believed it as an innocent child evolved around manipulating emotions to believe in the church and god. It felt like therapy in a sense, but an extreme kind. I was innocent, believed it all, and was manipulated to the max. Two, I’ve only been to two therapists. One my parents got me who I was seeing for my “anger issues” and “homosexuality” though the anger was untreated BPD. I was probably 16. Second was 18 and she cried on the first visit after hearing my story. It didn’t turn me off her. It turned me off of life. I didn’t realize how bad I was doing till seeing a response like that from an emotionally regulated professional. So with that said I don’t think therapy is possible for me.
So, how much longer do I really have before I fall deep into illness? I already have the high rate BS and GI issues that are ramping up.
Not trying to throw a pity party, and I actually find myself gas lighting myself a lot saying why should I be so upset, so many people have it so much worse. I find it to be somewhat helpful, but it just makes me run farther and farther from the trauma and pain.

My boyfriend and I have moved into our new house and pretty much accidentally manifested this cat distribution line to us. Hazel, is a beautiful, sweet, spiritual tabby girl. We first met her while we were on a date at her work place, which is like stonehenge but in the southwest boarder of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Hazel was one of the tour guides! She was one of the original four cats that followed guests around the stonehenge like park. I remember being at the park for the first time and being followed around by this sweet girl, she was so affectionate and calm. She even let my boyfriend pick her up and allowed him to carry her around while we explored. We even stayed till after the park closed, I whispered in Hazel’s ear as she sat purring on my lap, “Can i steal you? Can I take you home with me please?” but of course we had to leave her. A year had passed, we like coming to this date spot on occasion. It’s a spiritual space and the cats are like the familiars of the land. We decided to go visit since the last time we were there, the owners had just gotten kittens to add to the tour guides since the original four dropped to three (rip River). There were six new kitten siblings and they’ve pretty much taken over being the main tour guides since they’re more interested in staying were people pass by rather than in the surrounding forest were the older cats liked to explore in solitude (they’ve worked hard, they deserve some space). My boyfriend and I were exploring the park with two of the new kittens (Smokey and Ember), we came across one of the temples near the edge of the park. Not long before we were discussing if we’d be able to run into any of the OG tour guides, specifically Hazel since we hadn’t seen her in a while. He walks into the temple, says theres no cat in here. I walk in and look directly down to the right of the wall next to the doorframe. There’s a cat! She’s dirty and curled into a ball, the first thing I noticed was how big and swollen one of her paws looked. After looking at her a little more, it was Hazel! Poor baby girl was hurt and not a fan of the kittens with us. My boyfriend ran to find the employee currently working while I stayed and kept the kittens away from Hazel. The worker called the owner and told my boyfriend that they’ve been looking for Hazel for the past couple of days since she hasn’t been seen in a while. The owner came, picked Hazel up and took her to the closest open veterinarian. We decide to go back to check on Hazel the next day we were free which was later that week. Coming to visit Hazel, we walk into the gift shop to buy our tickets and the person working was the owner! She told us that Hazel is alive and well but in a lot of pain. Hazel was caught in a raccoon trap left by one of the land owners nearby. The trap crushed her right front paw and will need to get it amputated. The owner thought it would be unfair to Hazel to continue being an outdoor cat with only three paws. She was afraid that if Hazel needed to defend herself or runaway, she would have a harder time because she’d be missing that front paw. The owner said that she would like to home Hazel because she believes she’d have a better life that way. Obviously I didn’t jump into anything but my eyes lit up. My boyfriend then says, “Well if you plan to home her, we’d love to take her.” I am SCREAMING in my mind cuz we’re literally on the same wave length. He gives her his number and she asked if we would want to visit Hazel, she is being kept in one of the rental cabins and had taken pain medication not long ago (she was scheduled to have surgery that weekend) and was probably lonely. Of course we visited the sweet girl, gave her some cuddles as best we could (she was smelly on top of being hurt, kitty litter was all over her crushed paw that was no longer working). A week or so had passed and I get a text from my boyfriend, the owner had called him and left a voicemail. She would like to home Hazel and would like for us the take her if we were willing. Her surgery went well but she’s extremely lonely so the owner would like her homed sooner rather than later meaning ASAP. We’ve both never owned a cat let alone a newly disabled cat. We need advice! From cat basics to specifics involving newly disabled animals!

I have all Fooocus styles removed, no LORAs, no refiners at first. But at least the persons in the images looked more diverse and old, closer to what I needed. V9 was cleaner, but still the lighting is off, like too much stylized cinematic. In April of 2022, I started getting a rash on my right middle finger. Started as a swollen oval shaped rash at the knuckle closest to the tip of my finger, and has been coming and going ever since - sometimes coming back after a month and sometimes after 3 or 4 months. It now shows up near both knuckles on that finger; sometimes just a rash and sometimes with itchy bumps as well.
My dad works in orthopaedics and has been unable to diagnose this, as well as my regular doctor.
I did get a puncture from my cat’s claw around the time the rash initially occurred, nearby to where the rash has been occurring, but I’m not sure if it’s related or coincidence. I did get antibiotics immediately after the initial puncture.
I inquired on whether it could be herpetic whitlow, but there’s no real pain. Just mild itchiness and the bumps/rashes never open up or weep.
Curious if anyone here may have any ideas.

Hello all! Looking for quick advice; fiance and I are on vacation and found a kitten with a bad eye infection last night.
All vet clinics in this area are closed on Sundays so the earliest we can get to one is around 24 hours from now. Anything we can do to help the kitten in the meantime?
She is eating (kitten wet food) but her infection seems to have gotten worse since last night. We found her mom but she hissed at and pushed her away when we tried to return her, so we think it may have been abandonment due to the infection.
Any suggestions? We’ve been cleaning the area/wiping away goop with a clean cloth, but they are basically swollen shut at this point. Have pics as well if that helps

I've had a stye/hordeolum since Friday after coming home from a party. Yesterday, I went to a city hall celebration to commemorate my city’s anniversary and I was determined to go to the Mass in the afternoon, but I was so tired that I ended up sleeping and didn't wake up until later. But today I woke up with my eye much more painful, swollen and inflamed in general, there’s rheum all the time, looks ugly and it’s itchy… Is this a justifiable reason for missing Mass?
