Hey guys, this year has been shitty for me. I did the worst I’ve ever done mentally and academically. I’m pushing to finish my semester for chem with a C. I have a D right now. I hate it but I struggled with the class and the teacher didn’t help. I have not been doing well mentally all school year. I’m not going say what happened but shit happened at the end of the school year last year and at the end of summer which still weighs me down a lot.

I have been getting SPAMMED called by some guy who has it out for me apparently. He found my information from my business card and has been harassing me and my girlfriend nonstop. Typically, I wouldn’t care much and I would let it be but yesterday he left a voicemail from a “no caller id”. He read off my girlfriend’s address and claimed he’d pay her a visit soon. He proceeded to call me the n word repeatedly and then spam called me from no caller id for two hours.
He made the mistake of calling from his personal number one time, so I feel like I have some bit of leverage but I’m not sure what to do. I’ve reached out to my local law enforcement, no help. I reached out to the FBI but I feel that it won’t be pursued. I’m worried that my girlfriend is in possible danger of being attacked or swatted.

The ogre leader has a specific power that I had previously prepared to cast Fireball and to adjust its size and shape as she wished. I thought to myself: "in a cramped space, what a cool boss!"
Obviously, I underestimated the amount of chaos my players can create. The group's druid creates 10 giant centipedes and coats each one with 2 flasks of oil (for a total of 20!). Then, to create the diversion they need, he sends the centipedes into the middle of the tent to fight the ogres. By chance, the centipedes end up in a mass in the center of the tent and the ogre leader casts one of her signature Fireballs.
CUE PANIC MODE! How on earth do I handle a Fireball hurled at giant centipedes slicked up with twenty flasks of oil?! My solution? Crunch the numbers: 5 fire damages per flask, plus 8d6 fire damage for the Fireball itself, totaling a fiery explosion of nearly 150 points of damage within a fifteen-foot radius around the centipede pile-up! The resulting blast sets the tent ablaze, leaves most of the ogres charred, and the poor prisoners nursing some serious burns.
How would you have handled this situation? The player imagined that the ogres would simply try to catch the centipedes without attacking them. We laughed until we cried in conclusion, what a memorable session!

I completely suck at drawing. I never liked it when I was a kid but these days, about 10+ years later, I would look at other people's drawings and be like "That looks great, I would love to be able to draw something like that". So I want to pick up drawing but the thing is, I have no idea how to start, I have a friend who knows how to draw, and he says "Just draw" for example, to look at a picture online and just try to copy it. The thing is, from what I have seen, people say that the advice of "just draw" is one of the worst advices you can give to a person starting out.
I have looked at tutorials but they either say to start drawing basic shapes over and over again (which is boring), be overwhelmed or I would see a tutorial, try to start drawing and get immediately angry and frustrated that my drawing looks way worse than what the person is drawing and then immediately be filled with jealousy and just stop. I’m a graphic designer at a small company where my workload can be pretty overwhelming. It’s pretty common for leadership to add things to our plates that aren’t entirely related to our roles. Recently our data analyst quit due to being overwhelmed and within hours a good portion of his projects were suddenly mine. Some were related to my work, mainly in emails since I design them. But I’ve noticed over the last couple of days that now I’m doing everything related to emails. Not just making them, but writing subject lines, scheduling, picking products to merchandise, scheduling, list segmentation… It’s not just overwhelming, but I don’t even have much experience with half of it!
Then I was randomly asked by the CEO to provide data for emails. It’s simple enough to find the numbers in the platforms dashboard so I just sent that along and went on with my day. But now, the CEO has stood me that I now “own” this task and need to come up with plans to fix things like bounce rate and how one of our lists is underperforming. At the same time I still have an absolute ton of stuff to actually design for my own ongoing projects.
The market is terrible right now, and it’s especially hard to find roles in design even with my experience and skills. I just don’t see myself being able to keep up not just this pace but learn an entirely new jobs worth of skills just so they don’t have to hire someone new. Feeling completely trapped by this situation.

At the same time I still have an absolute ton of stuff to actually design for my own ongoing projects.
The market is terrible right now, and it’s especially hard to find roles in design even with my experience and skills. I just don’t see myself being able to keep up not just this pace but learn an entirely new jobs worth of skills just so they don’t have to hire someone new. Feeling completely trapped by this situation.

The Five Stages of Hell
Rules:
- Pick Five Shots each shot is a "stage" (2 Post Moves, Free Throw, Mid Range, Three Pointer)
- You must make the shot to complete the "Stage" and move on to the next one
- If you make the shot, your reward is not having to run to the other end, you can just immediately move to the next stage at that basket. If you miss, sprint full court to the other basket and make a layup (if you miss the layup, run back down to the other end and try again).
- Once you make the layup, continue from the stage you previously missed at
- You must make all five shots (pass the stages) to complete the workout
- If you make a shot, you have 10 seconds to grab the ball and begin the next stage (no taking prolonged breaks between shots)
- If you miss the shot, you must immediately rebound it and run to the other end as if it was a game situation
- Full workout is doing 5 separate rounds of the “Five Stages of Hell”
- Once you complete a round, take 10 free throws. However many you miss, do twice as many push-ups (4 of 10 = 12 push-ups). And then immediately start the next round
- No taking breaks or sitting down. The free throws are untimed and serve as your breather
- If you do not have a full court, instead of running to the other basket pivot at half court and run back to your own basket for your layup

I've ben playing HOI4 for 6 months or so, have played both EUIV and CK3 before, and feel competent but by no means am I "good." I started with vanilla and the RT56 but recently got in to KR and enjoy it quite a bit. After fumbling through a Germany and Ottoman campaign to learn the mechanics of KR I started a CoF run and felt like I was doing pretty successful. I helped SRI take power (which I think is pretty common place), was able to help a Syndicalist gov't take power in Spain and the USA, as well is in CentroAmerican and one of the SE Asian countries. I focused on building up to my force limit as well as trying to build enough of an airforce to have superiority and to use CAS to help push the lines. Based on initial technologies and production lines I focused early armor on creating light tanks and then started building up medium tanks. Also based on location of the Alps and not likely to due a ton of naval invasions, as my main enemies would be Germany and Austria/Hungary, I focused on Mountaineers as my special troops. I'm near the special forces limits, I have 9 battalions of light tanks and 2 of medium tanks (tank and battalion design attached).

I understand battalion stats such as soft/hard attack, defense, piercing, breakthrough, CW as well as needing to maximize those stats while minimizing IC, but at a very basic level. I assume both my unit and battalion designs are shit. Hoping someone can take a look and offer some advice.
For tactics I have the Blitzkrieg path for army and ground support for air, both completed.

I do this sometimes. It's an interesting way to look at how you're altering the shapes on your face, and how you're altering public perception of you.
And while I know this could apply to basically anyone that does makeup, the goth subculture tends to go ham with how dramatic it is in its looks, so I'd say we get more of an effect doing this than your average person.
If you don't, try it out sometime. Even if you have no interest in shit like that, you might get a chuckle out of it. Bonus points if you go sit down with your SO / roommate / family / house-sharing-persons-of-other-description and just act like it's normal until they say something.

I finally found out how to render a file with only the Japanese dialogue being subtitled for both Volumes. My last edit I used a fully burned in subtitled copy of both volumes to add subtitles to the Japanese sequences. It was an arduous task and I missed the subtitles in one brief scene in Volume 2(Pai Mei's death). So that's going to be fixed with the new edit.
I'm going to tweak the transition from the end of Volume 1 to the end of Volume 2 slightly.
I'll insert the brief bits of violence that was still missing from my edit, since I finally found a copy of the complete Japanese version(prior, I only had access to the Blue Leaves sequence, and the anime sequence).
I'm going to fix a couple of the chapter title scenes, since I removed the chapter numbers, but kept the titles intact previously, but a couple chapter numbers still got through.
My B&W and color hybrid edit of the Blue Leaves sequence will remain, but I'm going to tweak it a bit, since a few brief gore moments should've been in color in this version and I'll fix that this time around.
I plan to add a 10 minute intermission to this version. I'm thinking it might be right before the Blue Leaves chapter(and after the Man From Okinawa chapter) . I'll probably insert the Vol 2 title score into the end of the intermission as the movie resumes. It seems like the best time for a break, then the movie is relentless for last two hours.
I'll also figure out what to do with the end credits that show Esteban and the prostitute footage and credits, since the Esteban scene is deleted from my edit(this and the scene of Elle driving to buds are the only scenes deleted from my edit). I'll either insert other footage over that section or delete it and adjust the score enough to not call to much attention to the edit.
My plan is to save it at a high enough bitrate and hopefully be in the 20-25GB range, since I plan to burn my first BD-R with this edition with uncompressed audio(a first for myself). I'll also have a slightly smaller file available for those who want to see this edition with 512 kpbs audio like usual and in 5.1.

My plan is to save it at a high enough bitrate and hopefully be in the 20-25GB range, since I plan to burn my first BD-R with this edition with uncompressed audio(a first for myself). I'll also have a slightly smaller file available for those who want to see this edition with 512 kpbs audio like usual and in 5.1.

The app says the right number of bereals i did that day. In some days let me watch them all and in others it only shows the first one or only 2 of 3.

Picking out sounds I like while I'm talking, picking out the ones I dont, and messing around with my voice and/or mouth to fix it. Testing the stamina of my voice and using it for long periods of time (mostly by talking by myself) to get more and more comfortable with using my feminine voice. there's always new goals to venture towards. Even if I've learned how to talk in my feminine voice, there is still much for me to learn.
I find that most people (including myself in the beginning of my voice training) take it too literally. Thinking too much on exercises and trying to "feel" the muscles they're supposed to use. One of the biggest breakthroughs in my voice training was simply listening to examples (female voices) and trying to apply that to my voice.
I can almost imagine every voice as having a specific "shape" and i can match my voice to that shape. Even if it may not sound exactly like the voice im trying to mimic, the qualities of the voice transfer over because im using the same shape as the voice im trying to mimic.
sorry if i sound like a crazy person in that last paragraph but being visual about voice training helped me tremendously. Hoped i helped anyone at all

I end each with a note to the person who actually reads the email since the President and Vice President don’t read them. But still, because of everything happening in USA, I just can’t contain my despair and use it to flood inboxes (and probably soon their paper mailbox with postcards). I always mention the genocide being funded and supplied but I also rant about cop cities, the police force in general, Black Live Matter, Missing Murdered Indigenous People, only having geriatric candidates for president in the “two-party” system, trans rights, school shootings, the housing crisis, and other such issues that we should be past by now.
I don’t have many people in my life I can talk about these issues with and some are actively on the other side calling for death to protesters or hoping for the second coming of Jesus instead of wanting to be part of the solution to the pain of fellow human beings. No one knows I have a reddit, I just needed to share this hobby of mine. I know emailing the White House is like shouting into the void. Clearly politicians are not interested in hearing from their constituents unless it already aligns with their own policies (and sometimes their own beliefs). I just really hate it here. How can people be in favor of hurting others? How can that number be so high?

Noob hauler's perspective: In my opinion it is really easy to get scammed? (Collateral scam, but they betting on you failing the contract?) on a courier contract especially when the numbers on them are so high vs the reward, My problem arises when you accept a contract and you can't back out if the collateral is not worth what the contract maker claims and the only way to really know is by accepting the contract.
Their might be a way to backout I am unaware of as I am still noob, but if their isn't a way to do that currently then that is all the way messed up, I think it should be an option when you get to the contract's pickup station to either accept or deny depending on what you now know is in the package, but obviously it needs to be a way that the contract is auto put back onto the market or else that'd create other problems I guess.
Think of it like this, I could make an enticing contract that rewards like 20-30m and list the collateral for 1.5b hauling veldspar or any cheap ore rock thats heavy, obviously it is a loss until one person fails and IMO that should not be possible. I also checked that the maker of the contract doesn't get taxed on the collateral they claim it is which probably should change with a immediate cost of making the contract.
TLDR: Make a way to backout of the contract when you see the cargo that you are picking up at the pickup station OR make the parameters +20% to -20% of the estimated item value the only amounts you can make the collateral price, first option is best though.
