Hello, I’ve posted a lot here in the past 4.5 ish months. Everyone has been really helpful. I appreciate all the advice and understanding this community has shown me.
We adopted a 4 year old cat 4.5 months ago, and while she’s friendly and sweet mostly, I’m just not clicking with her. I am wracked with guilt over my feelings, but I’m waking up daily with massive amounts of regret. I feel anxious and depressed most days.
She’s a great cat, however we really haven’t bonded with her. She swats unpredictably at us still, and on Monday, even though I’m the one she prefers, she slashed my ankle for no reason as I walked near her. I wasn’t interacting with her, I had just spoken to her and then was heading back to my desk. I work from home most days.
She still runs from my husband a lot, but despite all of this he still doesn’t really have a problem with the situation. Not that I’m asking him to share my feelings. It’s just these differing feelings that are causing a great strain.
She won’t sit too close to us and if we move she keeps a close eye on us. She watches our feet a lot and has looked like she wants to scratch us as we walk. Shes very cute and can be very sweet- this truly is not her fault.
I wasn’t ready for this, bottom line. I wasn’t ready for her to not be the cat the shelter portrayed her as, and I wasn’t ready for the massive amount of regret that I’d be dealing with for nearly 5 months.
I’ve given it time, I’ve tried so many things with her. We can’t safely pet her even when she asks for pets. She’s unpredictable and it puts me on edge. I’ve tried feliway, treats, toy rotation, cat trees, scratching posts, so many beds, she had her own room even.
I’m at a loss. I just know my mental health would be better without her in my care. Most of her care is on me since I work from home way more. That’s not my husband’s fault, nor is it hers. I don’t blame anyone but myself.
He doesn’t want to rehome her and I can’t blame him. I have never been this miserable in my life though. I hate being at home. I have one in office day a week and it feels like a vacation practically.
I don’t know what to do when I know I can’t be the one to care for her, but my husband wants to keep her. I would never not care for her, but I am obviously not ready to do this. I feel completely pathetic and horrible.
Also, common suggestions are to get a second cat- not possible. We have no idea how she is with other cats and two cats ARE more work than one. Feliway- we have tried it. Time- I’m at almost 5 months of feeling this way. Cats will be cats- I know, that’s why I asked the shelter who might be a good fit. She’s quite a bit different than what they said.
The bottom line is that it’s clearly me who wasn’t ready. And I feel shameful. I really wanted to save a cat from a shelter and have a companion, but I didn’t expect all of this. I struggle with anxiety and clearly I was way too unstable to do something good.

For those panicking needing some relief read these things I've been doing and can honestly say I don't really give a f anymore.
[Happened days ago, live call jerking to eachother no catfish, threatened on socials with followers etc the usual]
Here's what I have done to feel so much better:

• Drilled into myself by reading this sub that after blocking and deactivating/going private/ nuking socials they will move one. They want money, time is money and they have more vulnerable people to blackmail. You're but 1 person in a long list of people they're onto.
  
• Contacted and met with my local police. I was able to show the officer the proof in the screen recordings and threats. This gives me relief that if anything ever came out that they know the truth. They also gave me a place to upload the threats so it's all logged. Sure my todger is digitally out there forever, but now SO IS THE THREATS.
  
• Downloaded all of the videos I was threatened with. In my case screen recordings of a live call and SCANNED them into Stop NCII at www.stopncii.org. (it doesn't upload but will scan your content so that if its uploaded to socials in future it will be flagged and taken down.) They also have a presence here in this sub, thanks for what you do!
  
• Watched the videos again. This might not be for you, but when downloading my threats I had to watch the content again. It almost desensitised myself to it. I imagined being one of my followers instead and can honestly say they'd probably feel sad or embarrassed they THEY have seen it, not embarrassed of me. (If you are younger and feel your peers wouldn't ve as accepting, remember, you are a victim of a serious crime, you've harmed nobody but unintentionally yourself and in the 0.0000001% chance someone does laugh, they can be swiftly reminded of this. (Including the police report) and they will stfu. Can't see em laughing anyway.
  
• Spoken to someone who can sympathise. Friend, family or stranger on HERE its nice to not feel alone and reminded you are a victim not a bad person of any sort. Again, you've not harmed ANYONE.
  
• Lack of appetite from stress. I found liquid foods like yoghurt or soups helped. To settle my stomach, bananas were actually great. Remember IF YOU ARE STARVING EVERYTHING ELSE FEELS WORSE. Like a shitty hangover, once you do finally get something down you, you'll realise a percentage of your bad feelings are from the hunger too. Don't let yourselves go weak.
  
• Pre written a letter incase I ever do get a message from someone saying they've seen it. In my case it's the following: 'Strange message I apologise but I'm being blackmailed by someone who has nudes/intimate photos I sent. Not my proudest moment. Please block it and report or delete ASAP and don't look out of respect and your own sake. Incredibly embarrassing message to write but I hope you can keep it between us the police are involved and its being dealt with hopefully. Thank you and sorry. ' I only apologise as I feel it would make them even more sympathetic. We don't have anything to be sorry about truly.
  
• IF you have images tou truly believe are of the person, on their account etc. You can use a website like GEOSPY.AI. This website scans the image and tries to locate it with the background info from foliage and building types etc. I believe I have found not only the city but the university my blackmailer attends. BE RESPONSIBLEMIT MAY NOT BE ACCURATE. DO NOT SEEK REVENGE. Hand it to authorities if in contact or any reports.
  
• Do not dwell on posts about leaks. Even if you read 30 people had theirs leaked (which isn't the case) this is only a handful of reddit. Only a handful of reddit users even know about the sub. Only a drop in the ocean of people online even use reddit. There will be so many more people who haven't had them leaked at all.
  

There's a chance I won't be able to reply, I'm having issues with reddit but I will definitely read them. If there's a discord drop a link and we can chat there if needed. I genuinely feel okay and it's still so recent. Look after yourselves most of all. Eat, drink, rest. Take breaks from here too. We're never too far away in this sub if you need help.

First, go on Amazon and buy some Army OCPS and pts. It’s that easy! Then once a month wake up at 2am and drive 3 hours to a random location. Don’t get yourself a hotel! That’s ridiculous. Once there proceed to stand in the parking lot for an hour, make sure to call attendance to verify that you are there, also call your name for a UPL and talk about the plans for training for the day that will never happen. Next, watch yourself piss in a cup and mail it off to a lab to test yourself for drugs. Proceed to your nearest classroom and sit there for an hour on your phone, then decide that class has been canceled and as quickly as possible get to a different classroom. Stand in front of the classroom and give an hour long brief about common knowledge such as “don’t spend more money than you have” or “don’t kill yourself, because that’s bad”. After that break for lunch, none is provided, so go buy some! Now it’s time for some fun training! Go back out in the parking lot and notionally drive humvees around in a convoy! It’s great fun, just like playing pretend as a child. If someone shoots at you, just yell “bang, bang” and you’re safe. Suddenly interrupt that training because it is very important some items are moved. Find the nearest conex and empty everything in it and move everything into a nearby conex. No wait, that was the wrong conex, move it into the one on the other side of the building and hurry up. Next, go upstairs to the office and fill out some paperwork you have already filled out one hundred times because they lost it. Now run downstairs! You are late to the 10 minutes prior to final formation! Stand in formation for 20 minutes before starting the final brief. Talk about how training was great and to get there at 0600 the next day in pts. Then dismiss yourself, enjoy sleeping in your car. Wake up the next morning and get in formation to do pt, thankfully the sun hasn’t risen yet so it isn’t too hot. Spend the next two hours confirming attendance and getting confused as where to do pt. Now that it is nice and hot out run around the area for a while till you are dripping with sweat. Now run inside and change into your ocps in 10 minutes, no you don’t have time to take a shower. What do you think this is, the Air Force? Training proceeds the same as yesterday, the only change is moving the items from that conex back into the original conex. Dismiss yourself at 1700 with peak traffic, fill up your gas tank again, with your money, and drive three hours back. Get a good nights rest! You have work in the morning!
Once in the summer, ideally during an important time such as a family reunion or a friends wedding do the same thing, but for two weeks.

Am 6’ 3” / 275 pounds. Would like to buy an office chair that has a long seat depth. Have used HM Original Aeron size C in the past and currently have the HM Remastered Aeron Size C w/aftermarket headrest.
The current chair pretty good but there is a 4-5 finger gap between the back of my knees and the front edge of the chair. Lately that has been giving me discomfort in the hamstrings. Also the side edges of the seat pan tilt up. I am looking to get a chair that has more seat depth , and as a bonus if the seat pan is flat or flatter.
Anyone have any recommendations or experience with good ideas or ones to avoid? Basis numbers the Haworth Zody 2 without lumbar seems to have a lot of seat depth (20” possible) but then on here I read that there is a big uncomfortable gap at your butt if you actually move it forward. That said people seems fairly negative on the Zody build quality and actual comfort for tall users. Seems it is smaller than avg or avg sized users who like it. Anyone have experience with it who is 6’ +?
Are there chairs where the seat depth adjustment actually makes the seat surface area larger rather than just shift it forward? Some kind of waterfall expansion?
Any other chair ideas? I was specifically also looking at the HM Embody gaming. In the stats it doesn’t seem to have a big seat depth. But the pictures of it next to other chairs make the seat depth look big. I have no back issues and don’t care what type of back it is, so won’t mind whatever the back thing is.
One person here mentioned big and tall chairs from BTOD (ergocentric aircentric 3 and the sitmatic good fit. But I could find no other info about them.

So, my friend is deeply religious and after her break up with her boyfriend she posted in catholic groups on here asking for advice and looking to reconnect with Jesus. A guy reached out to her, explaining that he is a soon to be ex priest, currently on leave of absence (he has showed her a letter from his bishop saying this was granted so he could find a woman and start a family). He contacted her on the basis of helping her to find comfort in religion etc and their conversation moved from reddit to discord.
However, after just a few days of asking her basically every insecurity and vulnerability she has, he started sending her videos of himself singing, and calling her regularly. In less than a week he asked for her address to send her a gift, and when she declined, he asked for her email address to send a voucher. She declined again, but he sent her a voucher code anyway on discord, to 'cheer her up'. She has abandonment issues, and felt her ex didn't give her as much attention as she needed. She told him as much, and he started calling her 3 or 4 times a day and sending more videos of him singing, and picking her flowers (which he would always say he would happily send to her if she gave her address). He calls her every morning, to wake her up because she mentioned she had trouble waking up in the morning. On my advice she asked him to stop doing that, and he laid quite a guilt trip on her, with 3 minutes of pleading voice notes. At the beginning of the second week, he sent her an unsolicited picture of himself (attached) to 'show his weight loss'. I can't imagine why any man would send a photo like that without sexual motives??
Am I right in thinking this is all red flag territory? He maintains that he wants to help her reconnect with Jesus, and that he has no ulterior motive, but then leaves long voice notes saying he cherishes her and he would speak to her on the phone 24/7 if he could. He even said he would like to be on the phone listening while she talks to her parents, which struck me as weird. He calls her every day to pray with him, and then in a separate call every day to read the bible with him. Its been 4 weeks now and he has been asking for her phone number.
Just now she suggested they should call less, and he left her several voice notes, each one over a minute long emphasising that she could call him any time of night or day, and he would drop work, prayer or anything to talk to her
Is it just me? Am I worrying too much, or is this a concern? My friend is very trusting, and when he says his motives are pure she believes him, largely because hes a man of god. She also believes that because she told him she was lonely and needed attention, it is her fault that he behaves the way he does. I worry that his approach was never genuine, and he is trawling catholic groups for vulnerable young girls to take advantage of.

I currently work in the uk for an international company. Our parent company has offices alllllll over the world. I am in an extremely unhappy living situation due to traumatic events and I am desperate to get out. I used to live in the Netherlands years ago and I just fancy moving back there - I prefer it. But with Brexit, It proves hard. As employees we are allowed to work at our parent company’s office wherever we want if we are visiting the city or whatever for instance.
Since my company’s PARENT company has an office in Amsterdam, I just want to know the likelihood if I can just transfer over there. I am no EU national so it would mean that I would require a sponsorship visa from my work or some kind of arrangement. Has anyone here from the UK done this to the Netherlands or an EU country before?

I am currently living at my grandmas house for 5 years now the house is still in her name and I’ve been paying the taxes for it but if I wanted to change it to my name what fees would I be looking at? I’ve asked my parents they don’t know where the deed is at She did not leave a will saying she is leaving the house to anyone When we first moved in there was a letter from Medicare that she owed 5000 The light and water are still under her name as well

I know people have far worse families which is why I feel so guilty about hating mine. Along with the fact they love me a lot. It’s hard for me to love my family with the way they act.
I moved back temporarily to my grandmas house for 3 months until college opens back up. It’s been a total of 5 days and I can’t stand it anymore. I live in an old office without a wall and the only thing separating me from the rest of the house is blinds. I can hear everything. I don’t know if I have sensory issues, but being able to hear everything makes me lose my mind. My Mom and Grandma often whisper about me and it’s really frustrating because they act like I can’t hear anything. When I did live here during hs I could hear them making homophobic and racist comments often. I don’t have the same views as them, but when you constantly hear your own family say terrible things about communities you’re apart of you lose you mind at a certain point. I also haven’t gotten any sleep since Ive been here. No one seems to take into consideration I exist. Everyone is loud in the morning and I’m a huge light sleeper.
I think what’s setting me off the most at the moment is my Mom’s dog has been sick for 5 days now. She’s been displaying super obvious signs that she’s sick and no one seems to get that. She’s been up all day and specifically night needing to use the bathroom. I hear my Mom complaining throughout the night about it and I’m just so frustrated because why haven’t they taken her to the vet?? Last night my Mom yelled at me for her waking her up because she’s sick. Then I proceeded to hear my father say “I’m not losing sleep over a fucking dog” and left her outside in the cold rain. She’s an 11 year old dog by the way! I feel so bad for her. She’s visibly scared that she’s sick because shes afraid of having an accident in the house. Growing up and even a few years ago when she did have accidents my Mom would often beat her.
They also often neglect my wishes and let my cats outside even though none of them are chipped, we live in an area with a high tick problem, a mountain lion was spotted in the area once, my favorite cat came back with a hurt paw once and it persisted for months, and finally one of my cats went missing for 2 days.
I feel like I’m stupid for being mad at them for all of this. Like, I feel like a whinny baby. I just don’t know what to do because I’m here till August. My mental health has deteriorated rapidly and I don’t know what else to even do. These aren’t the only reasons I don’t like them, they’ve hurt me a lot in the past. These are just ongoing issues. I apologize if this all sounds stupid I haven’t been able to sleep for 2 days.

Ukraine troops pull back in Kharkiv after Russia offensive
Ukraine has pulled back its troops from several villages in the border region of Kharkiv following continued pressure from Russian forces.
Soldiers had come under heavy fire and moved to "more advantageous positions" in two areas of the north-eastern region, a military spokesman said.
Throughout the course of the two-year war, Ukraine has typically used this type of language to signify a retreat.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has cancelled all upcoming foreign trips as troops struggle to contain the new cross-border incursion, with several towns and villages coming under heavy fire.
His press secretary, Sergiy Nykyforov, said the president had "instructed that all international events scheduled for the coming days be postponed and new dates coordinated".
Moscow has claimed its forces have now taken control of two more settlements in the region - Lukyantski and Hlyboke - and the village of Robotyne, in the southern Zaporizhzhia region.
But Ukraine says its military still controls most of Roboytne, news website Ukrayinska Pravda reports, citing a spokesman for an army brigade fighting there.
"They [Russian troops] are actually only on the outskirts," Serhiy Skibchyk told the website.
"Inside the village, there are still our positions."
Robotyne was one of only a handful of settlements Kyiv retook in its summer counter-offensive last year.
A spokesman for the Ukrainian military said the decision to move troops from the Lukyantsi and Vovchansk areas was taken to "preserve the lives of our servicemen and avoid losses".
The capture of Vovchansk, though not of specific militarily significance, would represent a blow to Ukrainian morale.
The military spokesman said that the situation "remains difficult" but insisted that its forces were "not allowing the Russian occupiers to gain a foothold".
In a statement on Wednesday at 13:30 local time (11:30 BST/ 10:30 GMT), the military said there had been three clashes in the Kharkiv region, and Russian forces were attacking in the direction of Lyptsi, roughly midway between Kharkiv city and the Russian border.
The statement added two strikes hit the villages of Lyptsi and Mala Danylivka - while Ukrainian forces "repelled" an offensive in Vovchansk.
Ukraine's head of intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, had earlier said troops had stabilised the front line.

Thousands of civilians have fled west in recent days towards Ukraine's second-largest city of Kharkiv - including from the town of Vovchansk, located 74km (45 miles) away.
Oleksiy Kharkivskiy, Vovchansk's police chief, said on social media that fighting was intense and Russian forces were establishing positions inside the town.
"The situation is extremely difficult. The enemy is taking positions on the streets of the town of Vovchansk," he said.
Kyiv has sent reinforcements to the wider Kharkiv region following Friday's incursion - seen as one of Russia's most significant ground attacks since it launched its full-scale invasion of the country in February 2022.
"Additional forces are being deployed, and there are reserves," President Zelensky's office said on Wednesday.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced an additional $2bn in military aid to the Ukrainian war effort while on a visit to Kyiv.
Mr Blinken told reporters on Wednesday the fund would provide weapons "today" and invest in Ukraine's industrial base.
"We're rushing ammunition, armoured vehicles, missiles, air defences to get them to the front lines," Mr Blinken said.
"We've been through challenging times together, I have every confidence that together we will get through these difficult moments."
It comes weeks after US Congress passed a $61bn aid package last month.
Away from Kharkiv, Russia said earlier it had temporarily closed two major airports in the south-western region of Kazan after targeted Ukrainian drone attacks. Ukraine has not commented on the strike.
Russia's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also said on Wednesday that Ukrainian attacks in Russia's Belgorod border region were a demonstration of the "criminality" of Kyiv and the Western powers which back it.
Unlike with Ukrainian territory which Russia occupies, Kyiv has reluctantly agreed with western allies to not use the missiles it provides on targets inside Russia itself.

Ukrainian officials suggest there are more Russian gains amid ongoing push in Kharkiv region
Ukrainian officials suggested further gains by Russian forces on Wednesday in the Kharkiv region, as Moscow continues its push into northeastern Ukraine.
The town of Vovchansk, located about 60 kilometers (or about 37 miles) northeast of Ukraine's second-largest city of Kharkiv, is seeing some of the most intense battles in areas near the border, with one police official saying Russian forces are already in the town.

"The situation in Vovchansk is extremely difficult. The enemy is taking positions on the streets of Vovchansk," said Oleksii Kharkivskyi, chief patrol officer of the Vovchansk Police Department, urging residents to evacuate.

Gen. Serhii "Marcel" Melnyk, the commander of the Kharkiv city defense forces, also suggested there have been changes in Ukrainian positions in Vovchansk and a possible tactical withdrawal.

It is expected that Russia will take over the entirety of Ukraine in few months, if not few weeks or even few days thanks to its infinite supplies and forces and rapidly-growing economy. This will be cited as a conclusive proof that dictatorship is infinitely superior to democracy, allowing Russia, China, and North Korea to have their morale boosted exponentially, leading to Russia invading and taking over the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the entire Europe within few days while China and North Korea invade and take over Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand within few days, if not few hours. If Trump gets elected as the president, the whole thing is expected to happen next year as Trump signs an agreement with Russia that will disband NATO and/or merge the United States into Russia, effectively making Russia the biggest superpower in the world, which then would proceed to invade and take over the entire Europe followed by the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Canada in few days, if not hours while China and North Korea invade and take over Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand within few days, if not few hours. Keep in mind, ever since the war, Russia's economy is growing rapidly and they can continue any sort of war infinitely without any weaknesses whatsoever as proven in those articles above.
But what about Japan? Well, that's because Russia, China, and North Korea would allow Japan to be an independent country on the ground that Japan is the only "fully democratic" country that adheres "traditional values and roles" while also pretty much being a single party-dominant country, meaning that the whole world would be ruled by Russia, China, North Korea, and Japan starting from this decade. Therefore, it is probably for the best for us to evacuate to Russia or China to avoid war since those countries cannot be invaded at all or evacuate to Japan if you want to live in a democratic country - or it might even be better to evacuate to Central Asia to live with nomads over there since they would be on how to avoid war.
So with that in mind, when are you guys planning to evacuate to Russia, China, Japan, or even Central Asia?
P.S. I mean, after Ukraine is taken over by Russia, wouldn't the latter and China fully support North Korea so that they can take over South Korea within days, if not hours?

It depends on how they’re being difficult.
I have fired clients who were difficult. By difficult I mean disrespectful of my time, ignoring my advice/concerns, and not on a pathway to a successful purchase. An example - I had a Buyer couple who were transferring into my area and we looked at over 60 houses in two weeks. The husband kept changing the area, changing the wish list, changing the price. This was a guy who wasn’t getting closer. We found a beautiful house on a cul de sac with a 1/3 acre mature landscaped yard that was gorgeous. His wife was ecstatic. This was a house that perfectly suited her wish list, was in perfect condition to just move in, was well within their price range and was in a great school district. There had been an issue in the basement with a wall cracking (pretty common in older houses) but the Seller had hired an engineer and braced the wall. The engineer had given a guarantee of the work for three years. I explained this to the Buyers and the husband went off on me. Saying ‘How could I even suggest he purchase death trap!?!’ etc. I cut ties.
I have also hung with other difficult Buyers who were picky or had time constraints or couldn’t commit to a property. These are clients I felt would learn from their mistakes, eventually hone in on their area/home type and purchase a home. Some clients I have worked with for years before they purchased. Example: A Buyer couple were just wanting to look at houses to determine whether or not they wanted to sell their home and buy another. I showed them houses off and on for three years. I felt they were genuinely trying to figure out their future and where they wanted to live, so I stuck with them. They did eventually purchase and sell their existing home with me.
Ultimately you begin every client relationship with honesty and empathy. You educate them on the market and the houses you show and hopefully gain their trust. The way you approach clients doesn’t really change. You need to have boundaries, but also be willing to break them if it’s necessary for your client to reach you outside of office hours - like negotiating a contract until 2am because the Buyer is flying out of the country the next day. Never let your behavior be the reason the relationship doesn’t work.

More a rant than anything else (sorry). I know it's sort of a thing among copywriters where we're supposed to love talking about specific word choices and grammar and that sort of thing. I personally find it incredibly boring and actually frustrating. I mean there are a million intricacies of language, so endlessly discussing specific examples just gets pointless and tedious to me.
Some copywriters like to do it as a social thing, I guess, but like, can we talk about movies or music or museums or something fun? Or if you want to do this professionally, just tell me what I should change or ask me what you should change and let's move on. I truly am interested in you as a person, I just don't want to debate this word for 20 minutes.
I have one exception to this rule, and that is the endless Oxford comma debate; you can see in my title I don't use it, I hate it, I enjoy arguing about it but let's not do that here, because it can go forever.
Anyway, like I said, just a rant. I guess with remote work this is happening less than it used to in in office days, but a few comments on pieces made me remember this.
Ugh, one coworker, used to frustrate me SO much. She wanted to debate specific words forever. I was like, can we talk about the creative CONCEPT of this piece, because that's interesting to me. I simply don't care about word choice. It does not matter.

This was my response to the charge:
I am writing in response to the receipt of a “TFL Verification Letter” dated‬ ‭ 18.03.24 which brings the accusation of Fare Evasion committed on 16.03.24 against me. In this letter, I‬ ‭ wish to outline my acceptance of the named offence, as well as provide reasons why TFL should decide‬ ‭ against prosecution.‬ ‭ I would first like to offer a full apology to the Transport Support & Enforcement officers whom I‬ ‭ encountered in the early morning hours of 16.03.24. I wholly acknowledge that my actions concerning a‬ ‭ lack of initial compliance caused stress and confusion to these workers and accept their use of force to‬ ‭ detain me. However, it is to be noted that I am not a regular user of TFL as I do not reside in Greater‬ ‭ London. Therefore, this confrontational experience, at the time, appeared new and intimidating to me,‬ ‭ ultimately resulting in my flight down the escalators in a state of panic.‬ ‭ Reviewing the events in hindsight, I can unequivocally state that I would not have attempted to evade the‬ ‭ officers or even the fare, if my rational thinking on the night was not hindered by a degree of intoxication.‬ ‭ I have only recently turned 18 years of age, am still in full-time education, and hence unemployed,‬ ‭ looking to begin university in September. I hope that during the processing of this case, it is taken into‬ ‭ account that this is my first offence for any public transport violation and that once apprehended, I did not‬ ‭ try and hide my identity from the officers and fully complied with their demands.‬ ‭ Please do not hesitate to contact me on this email if you have any further inquiries.

Contrary to byelaws 9(2) and 23 of the Transport for London Railway Byelaws made under paragraph 26 of Schedule 11 to the Greater London Authority Act 1999 and confirmed under section 67 of the Transport Act 1962.

I help Business Customers to configure and offer Free WiFi's in their Shops and Offices as well as in other Locations. Now I had a few Businesses that got "Cease and desist"-Letters. This is (understandably) not nice and some are now thinking about stopping to offer Free WiFi.
To circumvent this, my Plan is to use a Hetzner-Rootserver, to route all the Traffic over it, so if there are such Letters, I will get them and can solve/dispute them, because (at least in Germany) they can write such a letter and I - as Provider - then in some cases have to block specific Websites or IP's if necessary and appropriate, but I am not liable for the Damages a user caused.

Now to my question, how does Hetzner handle this kind of Letters/inquiries?

I honestly have a pretty good job making decent money (tech business analyst) and get to work from home most of the time, I'm sure some people would kill for it. I just don't feel proud necessarily about what I do or feel like this is really working towards something.
Honestly though it's starting to make me feel dead inside and not fulfilled, just wasting my working time away. Part of it has to do I guess with being isolated, in a remote job, sure. But when I do go into an office and am seeing people, that's nice but I don't think it fundamentally changes how I see and feel about my work. I clearly want to move on and do something different. I don't know how to do that outside of just applying for new jobs.
Do I want a career change? I don't know. I have some hobbies and what not I could explore further but I'm not sure those are really careers. By far though the biggest blocker for me though is not being able to see and visualize what I want and how to take the first step towards it. I can read all of the motivational material in the world and love it, have it resonate with me, but nothing is going to help me visualize still what I want and be able to start forward.
Anyone else deal with this and be able to move on to something?

Hi, I lost my driver's license and in the meanwhile, I moved my house to another place, so I renewed my driver's license. I am a F1 visa holder and waiting for my EAD card to be arrived (OPT approved but just waiting for the card).
So quick question; is it okay to bring my documents to DMV office and verify my legal presence? or the only way is to call them? Thanks.

Early career teacher here. I teach small humans and I have one parent that never lets up. They will email me non-stop. If I don't answer? She will email the office. That doesn't work? Phone calls. That doesn't work? Show up to jump me at the end of the day.
I can be talking to other parents and they will stand ridiculously close and sigh and tap their foot. I've even had the office "page" me for a call at certain times so I can excuse myself.
They are upset because there are issues between their child and another child outside of school (think former friends now no longer speaking). Unfortunately a decision was made to move that child into my class. Now she's gone nuclear. Leadership have spoken to her, but she will literally email me straight after the phone call.
I dread opening my emails or school platform because there is either a direct message or message from the office.
I really have worked hard to be an open communicator with my families and being available before school but she monopolises this time even if I do manage to quickly get away they will follow up with emails throughout the day or firing questions at the ES who takes the child to the office for early pick ups.

I’ve been a Police Officer in West Virginia for 7 years, and I’m 27M. Also new to Reddit and this is my first post so bear with me please.
I’ve thought about moving to Michigan for as long as I can remember. Before I joined law enforcement I always wanted to go Michigan State Police. My original plan kind of fell through, and have had unsupportive relationships. I’ve had a really good career in law enforcement. I’ve got a lot of certifications, training and experience.
Right now I’m really just looking for information. For example does Michigan accept WV certifications? Does MI do accelerated trooper classes? I have 7 years of experience, will I be paid for it?
I’m currently not 100% sold on the idea and im just looking for information. I’ve been searching Reddit trying to find information but haven’t found anything that really answers my questions so I thought I’d make a post. I appreciate everyone’s time in reading this and any assistance that I receive.
