So guys I thought I was going mad after 11 years as a buyer and seller on eBay and extensively using Paypal credit. I've noticed TWO things have now changed on eBay:

1. You must be very careful when bidding or making a best offer now. As Paypal have forced 'automatic payments' onto sellers and enabled this by default. What this means is as a buyer, if you make a best offer and the seller accepts it, or a bid and win the auction you will automatically purchase the item, and money will literally fly straight out of your 'default payment method'. The options to pay via credit such as Paypal, or a different account, or for you to have the final look and you be the one to actually press the button and pay when YOU want to is now gone. I think this is a horrendous change and very concerning.
2. Paypal credit is no longer an available payment method when winning auctions or making best offers. It is now exclusively available ONLY on 'Buyitnow' listings. I spoke to Paypal credit team about this and they denied it had ever been available on other types of auctions, but I checked back on my purchases and the vast majority are 'best offers' that have been accepted, and I've then usually picked Paypal pay in 3, or 0% over 4 months etc.

I spoke to eBay then and they eventually confirmed that that it was available previously as I knew, but it is now a recent change by Paypal. Although they wouldn't confirm when the changes were made..
My advice is to be aware of these changes, and that if you want to do a 'best offer'. It is better to ask the seller actually change the buyitnow price for you instead of the offecounter offer method.
I'm really surprised by these changes and personally think it must be losing Paypal and eBay sales as now people are likely to be more reluctant to purchase but also it is not made clear enough regarding credit and also automatic payments. I think both are big issues that they need to sort but likely wont which is a shame.

Speculation: The quote from the Prestige in full talks about the different parts of making something disappear. In full " Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts. Speculation: WS looking for DFV and just coming across more memes, not really understanding it. Final message suggests it's a hold until further notice, potentially a gamestop announcement who knows?

Speculation: Not sure about this one other than the family in Ozark were right on the line of legality when it came to what they were doing, essentially they were money laundering and in the end it cost them their family. SHFs messing with Gamestop to the point of legality could be what costs them their family of investors?

Speculation: This play is a high risk play as we all know but DFV doesn't care about the odds, so many people have told him how crazy he is but that doesn't stop him absolutely nailing it. Speculation: The Moon Knight in fortnite is considered a rare character. In fact the last time the Moon Knight was in the fortnite shop was Nov29, 2023. With that, it's a very valuable and sort after skin. Also worth noting about the Moon Knight, "For a quick run-down: Moon Knight is actually a former mercenary named Marc Spector. Description: This is the epic reveal in fight club and DFV has replaced a lot of the words. In the original scene, if you haven't watched fight club, the main protagonist has put the pieces together to realise that he himself is actually the same person as the other protagonist in the film and it was him alone that accidentally setup a sort of movement against the financial elite. In this clip DFV plays off the two characters between DFV and Roaring Kitty.
Speculation: Roaring Kitty was the twitter handle and Youtube profile for Keith Gill where he would speculate on the stock because he just loved doing it. DFV was the reddit handle where he is associated to that other sub i can't mention here but you know where i mean. I think that DFV is saying that what started as a fun speculation of the stock became something bigger than himself with his other channel in DFV on reddit. Now the wheels have moved and in the film it ends with the financial institutions being blown up, perhaps something similar metaphorically is already in place right now. It's actually a great analogy from DFV about his situation.

Speculation: I certainly don't understand even a little of what is going on with the stock, but you can still have a feel for what is happening with the stock and it feels good right now even with the dip. Could be something to do with inverse hedging but don't know enough about that to speculate.

Speculation: The scene where Neo fights Morpheus is really the first time we start to see Neo believe in his ability to be the chosen one but also understand the power being able to beat the matrix. With the Alice in Wonderland it's about seeing how far the rabbit hole goes, things will get more crazy for sure and we are going to find out just how deep this goes.

Description: This is taken from the Shawshank redemption where the main protagonist has escaped from the prison after being wrongly imprisoned for many years. DFV has changed some of the narrators (Red) words in showcase his story of being wrongly accused in 2021 and having the flee out of the spotlight. He talks about pressure and time, he presents a lot of memes he has created over the years and then shows a particular screenshot of one of his streams.
Speculation: This tells DFVs story but also has some juicy parts. I think Red in this is a bit like the reddit crew (us) keeping tabs on his story but DFV is saying to escape like him it takes pressure and time (could be gamma squeeze, could be LEAPS, could be DRS, could be holding and buying, could be ALL of it) but all it takes is time and pressure. The memes he posted i wonder if some of those have found their way into various subs over the last 3 years without any of us knowing it came from DFV. The steam he screenshot has been spoken about a lot this morning but it seems to come from one of his youtube streams when GME last broke $30.

Their claims, confirmed to be fake news:

1. LakersFanatiic's faked screenshots of twitter DMs with the real EbonyPrince2k24, supposedly showing more CCTV images, claiming that there was "an altercation involving CA" and asking for $800k to an ETH account.
2. norasafeee's claims that they have DMs from CA which totally contradict his public statements and supposedly show he's a liar. Claims to be disgusted with CA, yet does not post the contents of the DMs, which shows us that they neither possess the claimed DMs nor even the ability to fabricate DMs/screenshots. Also a dodgy account due to being clearly a new burner account with a fake name and profile picture of a fake human (AI-generated and typical of bot accounts).
3. The fake Youtube account that copied EP's name and picture from the real EP Twitter account has not posted anything except (late) reposts of EP's Twitter videos, plus one trolly video about Kanye edited from stock footage that is typical of the "spooky" 4chan style imitating Anonymous. Has posted no new information and is not linked to by EP on Twitter. Is not active at the same time as EP on Twitter.
4. ItalianFiesta claims to be an insider in Kendrick's circle. Let's check Wikipedia's definition for martial art:

MMA quite clearly fulfills that; it is specifically practiced in for competition or other applications. As a sport it has its own codified rules. It has built its own culture and history, which is one aspect of having a tradition.
Does MMA then have its own unique techniques? Well, fighting against the cage might include somewhat unique approaches, but it's really not a relevant question. There are lots of martial arts that share all their techniques with other martial arts. E.g. pretty much everything in BJJ also exists in judo. Or, every technique in most styles of kickboxing are also in muay thai in one form or another.
Do MMA athletes just train in a bunch of martial arts and then combine them for MMA? No, not really. A high level MMA fighter is not training 2 days of kickboxing, 2 days of wrestling, 2 days of BJJ and then one day of combining them together for MMA. They train most of their time specifically for MMA, under the context of the MMA ruleset. Nowadays more and more MMA fighters come with no notable background in any martial art other than MMA, and this includes even some UFC champions. Many MMA gyms offer MMA specific classes for all days of the week.

Ironically, most youth do understand the surrounding factors but the factors themselves become tough unknowingly that they can’t quite control the situation which then becomes too late to recover. The task is questioned commonly as what kind of leader a person should be to prove creditability and capability to influence the youth to pursue the direction towards god? In an article again stated by, Graeme Codrington, Denomination: Baptist (All), – Practical: The Role of the Full-Time Youth Pastor in the Local Church, submitted on, May 18, 1997, “Young people are not just “little adults” (cf. Elkind 1984:18). They are complex individuals who are battling to deal with the awesome transformation of their bodies, minds, and emotions. They are in a time of transition and growth, developing from the birthed bundle of potential to a fully integrated, functional member of society. The church is in a unique position to assist in this process”. Church as a role model fosters spiritual growth in every youth making them responsible to participate in Christian faith; she is a sign for an entrance of the god’s kingdom to the world of salvation, repentance, justice and peace to bring equality. She struggles hard and performs her duties wholly and solemnly reminds parents to structure their offspring’s life in Christian formation.

Reflection on Congregational studies defines on writer James Hopewell’s statement saying beyond the embarrassment. “He has also observed that churches are sometimes chagrined by the change of hypocrisy and lament that they cannot measure upto ideals of Christian community”. Writer James Hopewell referred by Arthur Paul Boer notes that Christian leaders are incharge and build a church thereby rise in hypocrites. I observe practically that, though the world is changing, church strategy is also changing in complementing the growth. It still targets the set mission. Even though, somewhere in the corner hypocrites do exist but church leaders aim to find out what is the outcome in the people from the traditional, theological and biblical practices.
Perhaps according my research, I suggest they experiment bringing out good approaches to youth’s growth. Instead of the current activities followed in churches I would want to suggest the approach can be focused to bring in the outcome irrespective to exploration and innovation of ideas and thoughts for internal and external behaviour of an individual related to the surroundings around him, deepening of commitments to the teaching, provide opportunities to analyse socially and theologically and viewing his life in a theological manner. To build a framework of an activity consist of – to have an experience “like us”, to sense new boundaries by exploring new links to every Christian among themselves and to god across social and cultural boundaries.
In addition, exploration and inventive programmes can be executed to judge youth’s spirituality. Daily opportunities resulting in disorientation gets support through mission of god. Integration conceptual activities also can help in building and to capture ‘a born leader’. Church leader serves them as task leaders in the corrosion and freeing the task of a disconnected mind by planning tactics and dividing the burden of other’s through consultation. As the purpose is commitment, to serve the lost, skill based leadership formation training programmes can be organized to develop an effective leader so as to sustain the capability and capacity of the leader to solve the complaints lies in the dimensions of the ability. The activities require presence of not only church members but also worshippers for youth development in successful implementation of these practices. Some worshippers form in small groups, some large varied to race culture. Arthur Paul Boer also examines simultaneously that when a group of pastors were having service of congregation, one among them exclaimed in deep breath “It showed me I’m not alone”. So often in our churches we berate ourselves for problems we face: not enough men, too few youth, preponderance of a certain race or culture. Above mentioned statement “It showed me I’m not alone” expresses that each race and culture form their own group; build small churches for their own community within their own boundaries, where god expects togetherness, wholeness. It requires lot of efforts to help small churches grow whereas large church with mass contribution grows as their already exist efforts in large numbers which take over the chained actions for development. Whether single church group or many, big or small, the development is important.
On this contradiction, I would suggest that this also includes that in small group the development is paid more attention and given a close eye, problems are spotted quickly and easily to meet the challenges. No matter how large or small challenges occur, the way we approach it is unique and comprehensive as this brings out effects of development in the youth. Whereas in large it becomes difficult to assist as there are more than one individuals. Due to small groups according to races and culture, differentiation exists. But the important criterion is group commitment and work effort in all sets of practice for congregations in any race or culture for a healthy youth so that to accomplish god’s mission. As a result both objectives are co-related to each other.
To understand the nature of Christian youth it is a very distinguished and a unique phenomenon. Due to the increasing issues of ‘peer pressure’, this has led to the obstruction in the development of youth. There are negative as well as positive aspects of it. Negative aspects influence a weaker mind. It is the most consistent findings revealed in observation. Due to the inquisitive innocence, an innocent becomes a prey of the negative aspect, thereby exploited and develops an evil companionship where he adopts negative qualities and habits. But there is positive aspects as in there are some groups who work towards peer relationship. Here innocent gets an opportunity to identify his fear, weakness and have control over his own power. The peer mentors play the part in organizing programmes to understand the behaviour. They interact with the teens and open lines of communication, build up action plans to change the behaviour by using the discipline skills wherever necessary. As church members play an integrate role, it is a challenge for them to develop the youth and make Christian education reachable to them.
Teachers are responsible preachers. Youth growth depends on a teacher infact they are the true facilitators of our learning, are Baptist figures and true authors of an individual’s life book. They also act as the resource developer and planner setting the curriculum for the healthy growth of an individual, depending how the curriculum is designed with the kind and level of leadership skills to recognize the youth psychology. Parents play a significant role in Christian education. They are the promising leaders which shape up Christianity, infact are the real teachers of Christian education. Parents act as a moral standard and support, therefore can synchronize to their growing youth to be aware from their early hood to gain knowledge in Christian faith and this is done when they themselves too experience a fullness of church.
Misunderstandings and miscommunication between parents and their children are one of the issues which follow breakings in the development of the youth. Due to parent’s own principles, for respect and love of family values often creates harmness to the children’s growth which tempts them to behave against them. Thus youth becomes a totalitarian of his own life by going against the values and ethics and unknowingly gets stucked in the torturous situations. Most Christian youth, fail to act upon the 10 commandments of bible.
I must say, I myself as a youth in my real life experience have observed that the originality of the commandments has changed excessively and replaced with the following:
Thou must worship money
Thou must “lyrically” murder
Thou must have evil possession
Thou must have sex
Thou must enjoy drug addiction
Thou must prosper, worship own self
Thou must not feel guilty
Thou must have no respect for ancestral values
Thou must not serve, sacrifice
Thou must differentiate
Due to the above, youth fails to feel guilty in which guiltness is a part of our conscience creating a false belief system as an obstacle in his maturity and creating structure of his own. Under such circumstances he avoids promoting prayer, sacrifice, grace, redemption, worship and meditation, atonement. Considering money and sex are the only two things reliable to satisfy the needs, creating a limitation and a boundary for establishing personal spiritual growth and development.
In general terms, when the efforts of religious and educational institutions, society lack to perform the planned task for Christian education, a positive approach is expected and constructed to gain knowledge and teaching through parents and teachers. Youth must be aware of guiltiness which is a gift from god to help us in being and doing well.

This proves a kind of negligence in contacting the positive mechanism which grows in the back of our minds. Such system blocks all the wanted and useful messages allowing us to hear and see only what our mind tells us to hear and believe. As this tendency is increased in the youth generation, it is creating gaps between a believer and faith of god.
The question is – How? How can we overcome this problem? Youth have themselves developed a capacity in mind to hear only what pleasures them without taking a decision that whether it is false or truth. My query is – How we can bring these groups of youth closer to god? Unconsciously resulting in unexpected calamities and unknowingly they are unable to repent it wisely. Due to this increasing factor, youth can’t get a grip of effective communication and develop themselves internally. Here the parents then enter the scene to play their role.

The main question lies whether the local churches fulfill and meet to mature disciples in Christian education?

As stated above, ‘youth’ are the most critical of all critics when it comes to religion. In this modern era, youth is distracted to church because they are building castles in air due to the unmaterialistic desire. Youth today have focused their vision to crave success and prosperity for their rising life graph; they exploit their own ones due to greed and selfishness. During the primary phase of struggle and hard work, youth craves to achieve prosperity, at the same time, do thank god and accept his involvement for success, but hand in hand, lack to follow the bibles ethics which says to respect others in and with unity. Due to the competition and growth politically, more often youth seem to push the fellow mates and strive to takeover their place. They themselves are unaware that they give birth to exploitation and inequality. And due to inequality, unity is declined, wherein bible does not specify inequality. In a book source, Pastor – “Rick Warren’ – illustrates in his book – The Purpose-Driven Church -“The issue is church health, not church growth!” declares warren. “if your church is healthy, growth will occur naturally. Healthy consistent growth is the result of balancing the five biblical purposes of the church.”
In addition to this he also declares that “If u concentrate on building people, God will build the church”.
I agree at a certain point with the above statement. I herewith would want to magnify on “How would one build a healthy youth for a healthy church”? In this sense I believe that both are co-related with each other. Again the issue arises in my mind ‘How will the church be healthy if the youth is unhealthy?’ The issue can’t be only concentrated on church. For a church to survive, the basic foundation is the youth and for the youth to be saved and attracted the church has to be healthy. In my knowledge it is a ‘Vicious Circle’.
Local churches upto some extent do specifically fulfill the discipleship through the practices and play a great emphasis in fulfilling and conveying the message of god to us, but still lack to read the minds and bring the youth closer to her, for which she has to upgrade her atmospheric appearance with new packages to reach the youth in a new taste due to the competitive modernism which is hovering on the youth.
The latter part can play the best part coz when first falls in place, everything else falls in place, from the beginning to the end, from all angles in all walks of life. Towards a healthy faith, healthy church can turn and seed a growth of spirituality through which mankind will grow spiritually from within thereby causing church growth.
Author Perry G. Down states in his book – “Teaching for spiritual growth” that ‘how can we best enable Christians to grow towards maturity?’ For this question he suggests three key concepts- ministry, believer, and purpose. But my understanding says that these concepts are incomplete somewhere to create a bond in reaching the results because today’s youth is attracted towards the unrealistic worldly matters, but has resulted in declination towards the god’s spiritual growth. The major role connecting these three concepts is commitment and effort. As the church ministry is the foundation pillar, the main aim is how much measure of commitment is valued and given to achieve the target successfully. Mankind is able to commit only when he chooses the right direction in fear and is able but this is unfortunate as the alien world tend to let us unidentify the type of strategies of growth for maturity. By identifying the type of strategies of growth, we can understand the level of growth required towards maturity at which we can be spiritual. Another reason for in growth is fear. As the youth fears to face unexpected problems, the efforts are less and require the hierarchy’s support.
Author Gary C. Newton stated in his book – “Going towards spiritual maturity” quotes the principle that “God is ultimately responsible for all spiritual growth”. The question arises at this point that if god is responsible for everything, what will be the purpose and role of human? I comment that while god supplies the resources like bible, church, Holy Spirit, baptism, it is also our responsibility to supply effort and commitment to utilize those resources and give results to god. In bible, Paul highlights this principle of his personal lifestyle and in his teachings comparing with the example of a soldier or athlete to illustrate the amount of sincerity and efforts. (1 Corinthians 9:24-27), Paul states that “In a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize”. I herewith conclude in a Christian race all runners (ministry, believers, purpose) will fail to get a prize if there is no effort that is commitment from everyone.
Along with the concept of ministry, believer, purpose; effort is also the key concept and it has to be achieved from the youth as well. A healthy youth will gain efforts only when the growth will favour them from within, when the forces of the ministry believers and youth will collide with each other to form a healthy growth.
This will create a mutual relationship between god’s provisional resources and our active involvement in process which is more clearly in Philippians 2:12-13: “Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is god who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose”. This principle is intricate but the application is clear.
If one is to grow towards maturity in Christ then one must cultivate and demonstrate the efforts with passion, Philippians 2:17-18: ” But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. So you be glad and rejoice with me”.
Therefore the conclusion lies in the above concept, both; effort of the youth along with the work of ministry, believers proves in the healthiness of the church. In the book “Youth At Risk” by Peter Christian Olsen, 2003, he highlights four basic needs which he has clearly created an awareness of the effects that affects the development of youth:
Acceptance – belonging
New beginnings and second chances – forgiveness
Significance – generosity
Freedom – independence
I agree with his confirmation that he examines in deriving the above developmental needs from the provision of the Almighty’s resources as the absence of these needs do intentionally contribute in how they shape the personality, maturity, responsibility and stability of emotions. He emphasizes Christian community in respond to the needs determining that, the resources will be polishing youth through support during the fear and avoid them from destruction. At times the concepts will be foreign, indigestive for youth because unable to realize its importance. Rather the community need not re-interpret or change the language but simplify their thoughts and improve their visionary and understanding by change in structure through a friendly communication by becoming an effective leader to bridge the gap between the church and the youth. Therefore forces and efforts are needed for decision making which is an effective key in respond to ministry believer and purpose for a possibility of a healthy youth to build a healthy church, which will make the church flourish.

Youth of today’s modern era is firm on the point stating that inspiration is lacked in religion; they feel that the world is divided through religion and is the major factor which is affecting the growth. Regarding accuracy, there may be points of contention among medieval enthusiasts, so I'll do my best to support my arguments
Sword Names
Naming conventions are likely not terribly important to many designers. However, if you want to separate your classification style from Dungeons and Dragons (who refer to mail armohauberks as "chainmail") and other entertainment media, this explanation may be helpful.
Specific typologies of swords are very scarce in medieval manuscripts, and the most common description of any sword, regardless of geometry, is simply called "sword". And though I have seen names like "longsword" and "bastard sword" used in Early Modern texts (Capulet: "What noise is this? Give me my longsword"), I haven't seen them in medieval texts, though that does not necessarily mean the terms were invented in the 16th century. Overall, I would still say "longsword" is a fair term to use in a RPG
However, swords that classified as a longsword in museums are typically of hand-and-a-half grip, which means they can be effectively used in either one or two hands, much like a bastard sword. As such, there is no consistent historical or academic distinction between the longsword and bastard sword. If you refer to every mid-length sword as a longsword, there is no contradiction here.
The "great sword" is particularly confusing. Again, a modern use refers to large two-handed swords often as a greatsword, and this is not necessarily wrong, but there is some complicated context here. In the 15th and 16th centuries, the Gaels referred to their two-handed swords as "claymore" which translates to "great sword". However, the Tudor dynasty banned Gaelic in the 16th century, and later on, "claymore" was used to refer to Scottish short swords. In medieval manuscripts however, the phrase "great sword of war" referred to a sword with the geometry of a bastard sword (with a grip length of a hand and a half) and it was theorized by Ewart Oakeshott that its intended use was for "ponderous" mail-defeating blows on horseback due to its weight distribution. These swords saw use generally through the 13th and 14th centuries and fell out in favor of more specialized swords such as the longsword proper, which featured tapered designs more suited for defeating plate armor, which emerged as a full plate harness sometime near end of the 14th century

Regarding weights, swords are deceptively light, and it's been reported that historic swords in the Met's gallery have much better balance than modern replicas. Here are some weights listed for various swords:

Function
Before the late 14th century, swords typically had flat or lenticular blades and broad tips meant for hewing. Their increasing mass from earlier centuries implies that they were specialized for defeating mail armor. As such, in the 15th and 16th centuries, Irish and Scottish infantry were still wearing mail armor without plate defenses on the body, and their claymores featured broad blades of German construction, supporting the argument for defeating mail. Modern impact tests show that swords do a fantastic job of inflicting grievous injuries through mail armor, even though the sword doesn't actually cut through the links.
As plate armor increased in prevalence, swords with tapered blades, diamond cross sections, and reinforced points proportionate followed suit, and from what I've seen of surviving pieces as well as artwork, tapered swords and "estocs" dominated in presence during the 15th century. Medieval dueling accounts and at least one full contact sparring YouTube channel I've seen (Dequitem) demonstrate that thrusting strikes against gaps in plate armor such as the inner thigh and underneath the aventail or sallet visor are quite accurate and deadly, which contradicts a popular notion that swords were merely backup weapons, nearly useless against plate armor.
Further, those who might not deny the effectiveness of swords may still say that polearms dominated the battlefield, though this claim requires more nuance. Since set-piece, open field battles were often separated by years (3 years between Formigny and Castillon, 10 years between Crecy and Poitiers), many active knights would live without ever seeing a full blown battle! Instead, the most common military engagements were night raids, small scale sieges with ladders, and minor skirmishes and ambushes—all situations where the sword would prevail. Even in open battle, once unit cohesion started to break down, close-quarters combat with swords, axes, and warhammers took center stage, as is famously evident in the Battle of Agincourt 1415
It is also widely believed among medieval enthusiasts that swords are inferior battle weapons to the mace and warhammer, due to their ability to inflict concussive force through plate armor. To summarize the video:

• swords have more mass and more rotational force on the swing
  
• mace and hammer strikes are only effective against the head (against armor), but don't deal one-hit stopping power

* Always use PayPal/Venmo G&S when buying from someone with under 15 flair on the sub. A scammer will give a BS reason why they can't accept G&S. Anyone with under 15 flair MUST accept G&S as a form of payment according to the rules of the sub. This rule is non-negotiable. If they will not, please report them to the mods.
* Ask a potential seller to comment on your post. This proves that they are not banned from the sub. That doesn't always mean they are a scammer though. It could just mean that they do not meet the sub requirements to become an approved member. They still need to accept G&S though. Check the banned list and vet the seller through their profile.
* Ask for specific timestamped pictures. A "timestamp" is a picture a seller takes with a handwritten note including their username and date next to the item they are selling. Ask for this with "odd" requests such as a picture of the bottle on its side or with the cap off, etc. If they are not willing to provide that then avoid the transaction and report them to the mods. Scammers are becoming crafty and often try and photoshop the timestamp in with a picture they found on google. Be aware and inspect timestamps closely for evidence of photoshopping. Look for blurred edges of paper, shadows not matching up with others in the picture, etc. If you are in doubt, don't hesitate to contact us with the picture.
* "Sellers" who start the conversation off with "WTS (insert frag you're looking for)" are 99.99% most likely a scammer. Scammers will always give you a great deal, or ask you to name your price. Any "seller" who is willing to accept half payment upfront then the other half after delivery to avoid using G&S is most likely a scammer. If it seems to good to be true or fishy, it most likely is.

I’m not sure what to really do but I just felt like talking about it, in case anyone else wants to share their experiences. But I think my exes step sibling is stalking my TikTok account. I’ve blocked my ex on TikTok and I noticed that someone who has the same name as my exes step sibling viewed my account. I looked at the flag in their bio and it was the flag of the country the step sibling was born. I checked followers and saw that the account followed the school that the step sibling went to. It probably sounds weird that I know all of that but my ex told me all of this in the past. I don’t really know what they are looking for, I don’t post often, my reposts are usually funny videos with the sad one here and there. But I’m just wondering what it could possibly mean if her step sibling is stalking my account?
I also want to know about others experiences like this?

Here in this verse, John gives us a brief insight into the events that follow and are described in the Revelation. In the following chapters, the events are described in detail and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ will be in two parts. First, he will come in the clouds and take the church and that can happen. every moment and the second coming is on earth with the Church. The first part is also described as a secret because it was revealed to Paul but not before and the apostle Paul writes about it:

First time reading this author. It wasn’t super exciting for me at the start, had to trudge through until “Ballad of Simon and Eleanor” which was where things really picked up.
I liked a lot of things about this book. The inclusion of Kat into the plot at the end was really good. I liked the whimsical fairy tales, especially Simon and Eleanor and how their story panned out, despite everything that happened.
I’m not particularly sold on Zachary-Dorian as a romance? Implied age-gap aside, Zachary seemed to like Dorian because he’s cool and suave, but there’s not much reason for Dorian to reciprocate? Maybe aside from needing company after leaving behind his assassin life, but that’s not compelling enough for me I guess.
I am glad it had a happy ending, but there are so many things I couldn’t understand.

• Zachary’s death: the “bees” said he was “the end”. Was the only reason he died was to create a dramatic, climactic ending for the story? Why was there a need for an “ending”, for the sea to rise and swallow up everything? Was it to resolve Time and Fate’s (Mirabel and Keeper’s) story?
  
• The story sculptor: at the end the bees let Zachary meet the story sculptor, who turned out to be Mirabel. But the sculptor was also the person who made the box/story/concept to hide Fate’s heart, and Fate was also Mirabel? Is Mirabel playing/representative of multiple characters?
  
• Who was the silhouette in the book crypt?
  
• Why bees and honey? Yes their speech pattern was absolutely hilarious, and there’s a theme between a Keeper and Bees, but what do they represent, what purpose do they serve? Are they the story tellers? Why are they also the Kitchen? Why is the sea made out of honey specifically?
  
• Owl King (and owls in general): I understand the title is passed along many generations of owls, none of whom are named. But Dorian met an Owl King before coming to the inn, what did that moment mean? And the sword (that allegedly “will kill the king”) targeted Zachary instead. The owls in the original Time and Fate story were antagonists, ripping Fate apart. And in the present they did come attack Zachary and Mirabel when they descended. But otherwise they were… kinda chill? Some stories had them be pretty peaceful, like when the middle daughter killed a King and just lived with an owl, or when Simon said “the owls guide and propel the story forward, why are you afraid?” Are they inherently good or evil, or are they simply a neutral plot device to move the plot along in different stories?
  
• What were the voices in Zachary’s head right before Simon came and snapped him out of it? Who or what’s the force that’s stopping Zachary on his “quest”? Again, is it the owls? Is it the “stars”, the ones that conspired against Time and Fate? What did Simon mean by “we are the stars?” Why were the stars happy at the end?
  
• What happens at the very end? Kat opens a door into a new Harbor, where Zachary, Dorian, Simon, and Eleanor are heading to? The sea floods the old harbor? Will Mirabel and Keeper join them, to create new doors to invite more people to join them? Everyone being alive aside, the new HarboSea seems so lifeless and barren, where all the books and architecture has been destroyed/consumed, so is it a really a good thing that it lives on?

I hope we're all having a great week so far!
This is part 2 of... probably 2 when it comes to new and upcoming additions to my write ups. It is still very much a work in progress, so please, any feedback is very, very much needed. If this doesn't suit my writing style that much, then let me know and ill stick to what I do best!
The format of this write up is simple... After every write up I usually give you guys a primary parlay, since this is a betting subreddit of course so I kind of felt like I needed to implement some sort of betting thing. This is me breaking down reasons why I wanted to add x y z to the parlay. This will hopefully be a short write up and a short read as there's probably not a whole lot to say, but I also just generally wanted to expand on the parlays just because when I'm doing the main write up, there aint no time nor space in a reddit post to type everything.
I also generally feel like I'm not doing enough for this genuinely awesome community, so there's some slight pressure on me to step it up a bit, i think.
so, let me begin, feel free to criticize or give feedback, it's much wanted.
Leg 1: Ducote/Demopoulos o2.5 or GTD
This one kind of is a given considering the fact that both fighters have styles which do not have a quick path to a finish. Ducote's style is very boxing heavy, but it's also full of volume and short bursts of action, she does not necessarily sit down on her punches a whole lot, its "throw a combination and move". That steady pace has produced quite a few decisions on her record, which gives me the initial boost in confidence that she can fight at a steady enough pace to warrant a bet that this fight goes the distance. However, I am aware of some concerns given the fact that she has a few finishes under her belt. A lot of her finishes are based on ground action, she initiates ground and pound really quickly, and whilst I don't think Demopoulos is going to fare too well defending those punches, Demopoulos' highly active guard is going to most likely be enough to both mitigate the damage dealt by Ducote, and overall make Ducote waste her punches. I do think overall that this fight is going to take place mostly on the feet with Demopoulos throwing one to two punches per Ducotes 3 or 4. It is most likely going to be a game of volume and activity, and unless Demopoulos takes this fight to the ground and finds that submission real quick, I don't quite think that this is going to be a fight which results in a finish.
Leg 2: (optional Gatto/Vidal o2.5 or GTD)
Now, this one is optional, I usually only add optional legs to a parlay if I think there's a slight chance of it landing. Which usually means it probably won't land, but for those that perhaps want maybe some extra juice to their parlay, think of adding this one to it. This parlay is going to land depending on how Vidal fights, and that's always going to be a ridiculously tough thing to predict given the relatively short history of Vidal's fights in the UFC, but from the footage available, it is fair to say she is a fairly decent fighter on the feet, she has power in her attacks and if she looks for that quick KO early (something she has the propensity to do). The biggest threat for Gatto is going to be the right side attacks, the leg kicks and the overhand right. Those are the two main attacks that Vidal uses, and if she reads those attacks effectively and does not risk any exchanges, I do think this could be a slow and steady fight. Vidal's style is a prime reason why this is an optional parlay, whenever there is a power factor is completely shakes up the predictability of any fight, because if a fighter gets clipped, we are not sure how they are going to react. We have seen fighters swing back and get lost in the chaos, or level change and leave their neck exposed. This is going to be a chaotic fight and one that is going to be so fascinating to watch, but I do think that the chance of a finish is relatively low given the low volume of Vidal and the toughness and space that Gatto fights at. Her technique is limited to big attacks, and it should be those big attacks that are most easily readable by Gatto.
Leg 3: Nolan/Martinez ITD
This one to me seems self explanatory. Both fighters are extremely dangerous on the feet, they both have ridiculously exciting offensive attacks, but most importantly, pertaining to this bet, they both tend to have a little bit too much fun in the pocket, and it's during those seconds in the pocket that I see a finish happening from either side. There is also the additional concern on the side of Martinez that he lacks the defensive techniques and layers to avoid long attacks, and given that any fighter is going to enter the pocket, throw a little, then step back to reset, it's that "step back to reset" where I see Martinez getting exposed since he tends to leave his hand a bit loose, not quite in a tight guard position. Let's not forget that both fighters are coming off KO losses, they both have quite high finish percentages so I do think both are going to come into this fight looking for a quick finish in order to get back into the win column and build the momentum back after their devastating debut losses.
Leg 4: Hill/Pinheiro o2.5 or GTD
It was difficult to get a read on this fight given the style clash, and it is probably risky to even add Pinheiro's name to an o2.5/GTD bet given her history of slowing down substantially, but I do think that Ribas just really put it on her and it was the early power punches from Pinheiro which emptied her out a bit faster than you would otherwise see. Pacing is important for Pinheiro here, and whilst her threat of a quick KO/TKO is relatively high stylistically in the first half of the fight, I do think, as pointed out in my write up, that Hills ability to adapt to takedowns and trips is going to ultimately negate that threat. Now, there are two main threats here which might make this bet sketchy. Firstly, if Pinheiro has not improved her gas tank, than you are most likely going to see the potential of a Hill TKO skyrocket, in which case you better damn hope she finishes Pinheiro in the last minute of the fight (if you went o2.5). The second threat comes from the slick BJJ and grappling of Pinheiro, it probably won't take long for Pinheiro to try and get back control, lock in her hooks and try to drag Hill to the ground, and whilst Hill is generally a very sound MMA fighter who is good at defending grappling attacks, it only takes one mistake to get locked into a submission, and I think given that Pinheiro faced hell in the third round, she probably doesn't want to face that same kind of hell from a more cleaner kickboxer like Hill. Ultimately though, I think its going to be a back and forth and the fight will hit the scorecards. This one could be a parlay buster though given those two threats, so feel free to fade this leg. (is that even a term?)
Leg 5: Barboza/Murphy R3 Starts - Yes
This one probably doesn't need too much explanation. Barboza is an absolute veteran who is very hard to put away, and whilst Murphy is going to be looking very quick and slick on the feet during the first couple of rounds, I do think Barboza is more than capable enough to hang in there and wear the initial storm before adapting and coming back with his own attacks. Both fighters have excellent gas tanks too, and whilst we haven't seen Murphy in the championship rounds, the fact that he still fights at a high pace in the third round gives me hope that this bet hits. I mean, 10 minutes of action needs to pass anyway so it's a relatively safe bet in my opinion.

I have been thinking of adding my "confidence levels" system to this post, but then it would be fuckin weird like, imagine seeing someone put a leg in their parlay and that shit's low confidence lol. I might think of another system but for now, we'll keep it simple.

First of all full disclosure: I'm a 48% player, with A LOT of games in the pocket. This means my chances of significantly improving my win-percentage are slim. But hear this.
I feel I'm not actually a terrible player, and I feel I am very often let down by my team-mates, even though I try to carry the team. I'm often the top scoring, or second top-scoring player, in both losses and in wins. That's the reason I was thinking about an additional indicator for player quality, namely: average placing over all games.
In this rating, you can score anywhere between 1.00 (100% top scorer / best team player) and 7.00 (100% bottom scorer / worst team player). Say you play 3 games, in which you placed (within your team) respectively first, third and third. This would give you a rating of (1+3+3)/3=2.33. Likewise, placing sixth, seventh and seventh again (due to being a no-good low-life AFK bot), your rating would be (6+7+7)/3=6.66.
Because this system disregards wins and losses, I feel this might be a fairer indicator of player quality than the win-percentage. Or at least a good addition to the win-percentage, and / or a way to make match-making a little easier... What do you guys reckon?

I’ve been with my husband for a couple of years now, married a few months. I caught him out in a pretty big lie last weekend and it’s unravelled so many things. So many times that I thought that what he was saying was strange, or seemed far-fetched all make sense now. The lies aren’t even big or to hide something that would hurt someone’s feelings, it’s just small stuff but the lie is what makes it huge for me. I’ll give a couple of examples to provide a bit of context:
EXAMPLE 1
When we met, he told me he had tried to kill himself in a car crash when he was 19, that it was a split second decision and to never tell his parents because it would crush them. I dutifully kept his secret.
A few days ago, I found out that there was someone else in the car from an offhand comment made by one of his parents. When I asked him later why he had lied about it, he said that he didn’t remember the crash, has no memories before or for a while after. I asked why he would try to kill himself with someone else in the car. He maintained that “it was a bit about killing myself”, before restating that he had no memory and “I don’t know what to tell you”. Very defensive, yelling and crying.
I asked him again a couple of days later (in one of our attempts to resolve the situation) saying that either he has lied to me since we met, or he tried to take someone else out with him. He said he didn’t remember but that he thought it was suicide because he was so deeply unhappy at that time in his life. I said “so you tried to take your girlfriend out with you? Because that’s murder”. He then said he didnt know the real reason. I then asked why he would definitively tell me it was a suicide attempt if he didn’t know the real reason. He couldn’t tell me. I then asked why he seemed to remember specifics when I asked him at the start of the relationship (“I was driving home from dads after dinner, it was a split second decision”) but now couldn’t even tell me if it was an accident or suicide. Admitted that it was silly to claim suicide attempt, but still didnt admit to lying.
EXAMPLE 2
I received a sapphire bracelet from my mum for Christmas last year. Boxing Day, he told me that “oh sapphire! it’s just like the ring my mum got you”. I asked him what he was talking about, and he said he didn't know. I said “no, your mum got me emerald earrings”. He said “ah yes that’s what I must have been thinking about”. I knew something was up but I left it at that because we were at family's house.
Later I asked him directly if his mum had given a sapphire ring to his ex. He said no, he was just confused about the earrings. I said I wouldn’t care, but that I don't want to be lied to. He said no, he was just confused.
Two weeks later his mum was on the phone on speaker (she didn't realise she was on speaker) and she said “I’ve asked for that sapphire ring back from [ex] and given it to [sister in law]”. I told him “I fucking knew it, why did you lie to me?” He said he didn't remember and that he genuinely got confused, and that he was “an idiot” for not remembering. I told him I’d be far more upset about being lied to than I would about a gift your mum gave to someone before we met. He said “I know, and that’s why I’m not lying to you!”
In all the other current issues going on, I brought this issue up again in the context of the other lies. The conversation went like this:
Me: Why did you lie to me about that, even when your mum mentioned it? Him: I already told you, I got confused, I totally forgot Me: How did you forget when I asked you directly, with specifics? I asked you “Did your mum give a sapphire ring to [ex’s name]” and you told me no. Him: I got my wires crossed, I was talking about the earrings Me: but you specifically mentioned a sapphire ring, which was exactly what it was. Him: I don’t remember who she gave it to. Me: So you do remember there was a ring… then why didn’t it jog your memory when I asked you directly? Him: I already apologised for this, we’ve been through this Me: What? No, after your mum got off the phone, you told me again that you’d forgot about it and you couldn’t remember anything about it. Him: Yeah, after the phone call with mum - we had a conversation the next day which I vividly remember where I told you I lied so as not to hurt your feelings.
I have no recollection of this conversation, but it would directly contradict claims he made seconds prior about ‘getting his wires crossed’, thinking it was about my earrings, and having no memory of it. When I asked why he had contradicted himself, he said he didn’t understand. It’s making me feel crazy.
There are actually many more examples like this, but over and over again, I’ve told him that I can handle the truth, but begged him not to lie to me. I caught him out in a lie in the first couple of months of us dating. When he said it was to protect my feelings, I told him that I would rather the truth than a lie from him. He promised never to lie to me again.
Over the last couple of years, he has sent me texts like:
“I felt absolutely stupid and embarrassed when I lied to you ages ago. And I told you it will not happen again. And it hasn’t.”
“I don’t lie to you”
“I’m so glad I have you. I can be my true self with you. I love the complete openness and honesty in our relationship. All we want is the best for one another”
”I asked myself something last night about us. Just in quiet reflection. Would I tell you everything and anything even if it would upset you? Like would I even make up little white lies to avoid anything crappy and I was like nah. I am cellophane with you. But frosted glass with everyone else”
“I love you so much. I promise to tell you everything and always devote myself to you”
He has repeatedly told me that he would never lie to me as “you know everything anyway, do you think I could lie to you?”
When faced with all of the above, he admits that he's got a problem with lying and says he’s turned a new leaf, that he knows what he needs to do, and that from now on it will be complete honesty.
In light of everything, how do I know that this is the truth, and not another lie?? All of my trust in him has gone, along with any respect I had for him. Everything he's saying to me just feels like lip service.
I know the above seems like a lot, but I’m only asking so many questions about these issues and others in the last couple of days because suddenly everything is making sense. A number of events that I went “huh, that’s weird” over the last two years but took him at face value and brushed off are all coming back into focus. I’m trying to get him to admit to lying for things that I know for a fact he has lied about. I’m trying to get him to understand that he can’t just give me something that doesn’t make sense and expect me to believe it.
HE is the one who asks me daily to talk about the issues we're facing, to tell how I'm feeling or what I'm thinking etc. He brings it up, so I explain to him what doesn't make sense to me or what I'm trying to process.
I ask him questions so that I can understand what his story is, and how that interacts with the facts that I know. When he’s defensive and contradicting himself instead of being honest and saying “yeah I made that up”. The fact that I’ve told him that I just want the truth and he still can’t admit to it indicates that there’s a problem - I even held a “safe space lie amnesty” a couple of days ago where I said I just wanted to know what he’s lied about so we can move forward. A lie you’ve gotten yourself tangled in is one thing. Repeated and continuous lying even in the face of contradictory facts is concerning. Despite my repeatedly telling him I can handle the truth, he maintains lies that have no value. Most of the lies he's told me couldn't even be considered to be for a reason - if it was to protect my feelings I'd get it, but some of them are just for attention.
These are not two isolated incidents, these are two of maybe ten events that I can recall from the last 2 years that have always been weird to me, but I kinda brushed them under the rug until recently when I realised there was something else going on.
I don’t think it’s too much to ask from a man who has repeatedly told me how much he values the honesty and openness in our relationship to show me those same values. He is not a man who has ever even indicated that he wanted to have his own space or privacy, in fact, he jumped into the relationship with "we should have each other's phone passcodes and be able to look at it whenever we want because we have absolutely nooooooo secrets". That was a bit of a shock to my system, but I thought 'hey, if this man wants full transparency and openness then let's go for it'.
Sometimes I’m furious and can’t stand the sight of him and other times I think it’s not such a big deal. I don’t know if I even really know how I feel about it. Sometimes merely annoyed, other times completely betrayed.
For me to move forward with him, I need to understand what’s driving this behaviour. Is it a personality disorder? NPD? BPD? Has anyone been through similar? How did it end? This is all I can think about. I don’t know what it means.

I despise the word "Paganism".
A slur given to us by certain individuals who resent us. The meaning was clear from the beginning. Part of this" us vs. them " mentality. "-ism" has remained a bitter suffix , one to show "error, confusion, illness, ignorance and arrogance" in a person's ways. Weaponized actively, succeeding in eradicating a multitude of cultures, traditions intended to be passed down generations, full of information in how to be well with medicines, how to survive extreme temperatures when resources aren't as available, and how to bond closer with other humans
People speak of claiming words, but when has claiming or reclaiming ever felt clean? The F-word, and N-Word. Neo-weapons alike, belonging to the same unwelcoming genocidal family.
These are traditions, faiths, paths and ways. Philosophies and many more wonderful adjectives, and every day since the final blows to our original lands, we have been taught through brainwashing to shame the words titles in our native languages
We are not "Pagan", we are what we always were, " The People". We called ourselves this in our own languages, from diverse groups. Sometimes we defined ourselves even more, or defined our worship with a more direct name. We were great at it. I despise the word "Paganism" because to the world that has Othered us, we are merely a single demographic who believes the same thing and worships the same way.
