Hello everyone,
I have a few problems in my actual playthrough (around 120 hours in, almost non SETA).
I have set up a lot of different factories around the galaxy to fill the holes in the economy of each faction.
ZYA is missing a lot of advanced electronics, engine parts and weapons components, that i produce massively, one sector away from their Wharf/Shipyard. My station manager and traders are all 5 stars, prices are set to auto and no restrictions in the trade rule.
However, my station subordinates traders rarely sell the needed wares to these stations, even if there is a high demand.
The AI comes to buy some from time to time, but my containers are always almost full, even if the demand for the products is high.
It seems there are some problems coming from the 7.0 beta that i'm not the only one experiencing. If anyone has a suggestion, i'd gladly hear it.
Since my station traders aren't really reactive, i sometimes force them with manual orders to buy the wares from the station and sell them to the Wharf/Shipyard.
The weird thing when doing this is that it shows me a profit that is going to be really low.
I also sometimes use the "transfer wares" order instead of "buy wares", to sell the wares to the Wharf/Shipyard.
Is there any actual difference between both in terms of profits ? Or any mechanical difference ? When am i supposed to use each one ?

I am by no means a Drake fan, or ever listened to his song before this beef. Not my style.

But It seems to me, that every single time,

Drake tries offer peace, or at least let it go.

He liked a comment about Drake, Kendrick and J Cole should be on the same Track.
At this point he's past the beef.
Kendrick however, "Fuck you and your expectations, I don't even want your congratulations" "Motherfucker, I don't even like you"
Drake shares old Twitter DM, old pics when they were on tour. Goes on interview saying he a lot respects Kendrick and Cole,
He showed up at Kendricks show in Toronto, again the trend of squashing the beef continues.
There is a constant trend of Drake taking a step back, but Kendrick is having none of it.
I can't fathom why Kendrick got pissed off at Drake for Drake being sensitive at times.
Why is Kendrick so mad at Drake, it made him look for dirt on him?

In patch 7.33c on May 14th 2023, Valve raised the mmr eligibilty for immortal draft from 5620 to 6500. https://www.dota2.com/newsentry/6247100012256123104
Date today is May 16th 2023. It's been an entire year since they did anything for the mode. I know the amount of players playing immortal draft is super tiny compared to the rest of the player pool but please improve or update it. It is garbage and in my opinion, Ranked roles > Ranked classic > Immortal draft.
Here's some of the problems I have with immortal draft:

• Dotaplus avoiding doesn't work
• Parties are treated as solo and people throw games for their friends when not drafted together. Merging party and solo mmr have ruined solo q and now that you can buy unlimited doubledown tokens, ranked games are even more toxic and clowny.
• People highlighting certain roles and then not playing the roles the captain drafted them for.
• People straight up refuse to communicate, adjust or /roll for roles.
• There's no way to tag/highlight players in game, you have to add them on steam and tag them with a nickname to see it.
• Players are constantly changing names because of various reasons. Let us tag actors, griefers, tilters, ragers, crybabies and buyers so we know what to expect and not to draft them.
• We spend extra time in the drafting phase only to have players not give a shit about roles or respect people with higher mmr. The difference between most games in immortal draft and the good ol ranked classic where people insta lock and first pick mid/safe is that now we have to spend extra few mins going through a player draft phase.

We traded long search time for low quality games. Increase the mmr for ranked roles and raise the mmr for immortal draft to 10k or something. Before doubledown tokens, there was already mmr inflation. With mmr doubledown token ranked games are just gonna be a shitshow for the next few months. Immortal doesn't mean shit when the difference between the top immortals(11k 12k 13k) and low immortals(5.6k) are higher than the lowest immortal(5.6k) vs the lowest ranked herald. The current season we're on is longer than all previous seasons combined.

Valve made two great games in CS and DOTA but the matchmaking is terrible, especially in the higher brackets. In both CSGO and CS2, cheaters are super common, especially from CIS and China region. if you want to enjoy playing the game you will have to play on 3rd party clients like Faceit or ESEA. Instead of banning smurfs, dump them in the shadowpool to play vs each other. I know Valve already do this in some extent but instead of banning people and letting them create new accounts and going back to the stomping ground, drop them to a shadowrealm where they search for a match and the matchmaker shows them searching but doesn't actively find a game for them. It's karma for people with self esteem issues smurfing, stomping legit players and wasting their time. Legit player partying with a flagged shady account(boostesmurf)? Drop them to a different pool, let them search but not find any games for hours. Make behavioconduct score actually mean something. I see no difference in the current 12k point system vs the previous 10k system. This post probably won't do shit because there have already been countless post about immortal draft but here's hoping.

I flew all the way to London just to catch this game with one of my mates. Our only option was the hospitality packages on the east lower side- paid a little less than 300 quids for each seat. Beautiful stadium, food was absolutely below average. Still couldn’t believe drinks weren’t included given we’ve paid this much.
Our seats were unfortunately right behind the away fan. This is such a weird game to watch. I love how our team played, I wasn’t one of the Tottenham fans who was hoping they’d lose. We actually had really good chances in the first half. I’m shocked as to how quiet the Tottenham fans were throughout the entire game. I feel the players rely on the crowds often and the fans kind of let the boys down.
There were also a shit tons of Man City fans that are disguised as Tottenham fans in the home fans section. I assume those who were doing the poznan are Man City fans too otherwise it’s really brainless to celebrate our own team losing like that. They all just slowing take off their jumper and started to show the Man City blue color and started chanting with the away fans and shit talking to all of us in Tottenham’s shirts, in the section that’s a supposed to be home fans only. And the staff did nothing about it. I personally find it really disappointing and this is not great for my experience. It’s very nice to get to know a few fans with seasonal tickets who’s happy to hook us up with regular priced tickets next season!
Very proud of how good we’ve tried to put up a good fight. I’ve been a Tottenham for the last 8 years, not a life long supporter but I understand the rivalry and I hate Arsenal with passion - but I also feel we should never wish for our own team to lose. I’ll be back next year to support the boys and I hope the fans mentality can change. The players really need your support in and out of the stadium.

Newhart is still considered to this day to be one of the best endings to a tv show ever. But I do wonder today with social media would it work or would there be intense backlash from fans who felt " cheated". I actually think with a show like that it would work. Newhart was a nice show but wasn't a major hit compared to other sitcoms do I think even today you could get away with that ending.

I feel like I need to give a little bit of background here so all of this makes sense, sorry this is gonna be a long one.
I’ve been with my boyfriend for about 6 months, we were dating or seeing each other for about 4 months before that, mind you, in the last 2 months of those 4 months we were seeing each I thought we were exclusive, he would call me his girl a lot of the times, spend all the holidays with me, made me face time with his dad, spend almost everynight at my house, damn I was even doing his laundry, so in my head we were officially dating, but then at the same time he was doing a lot of shit that made me extremely confused, never posting me on his socials, even hiding pictures that I tagged him, sometimes he would disappear for a couple of days and things like that. When I asked him what the hell he wanted and confronted him about all of this he always said that he wanted to be with me and that there was no one else and that I was over reacting (there was a lot of gaslighting yes, I’m aware) after those horrible 4 months of not knowing what the hell we were, we finally had a conversation and he did told me we were oficial, a week after this I found out he was texting daily with a girl who he dated at the beginning of last year, this girl lives in a different country (in her head they were in a relationship) I confronted him about this and he was extremely sorry that he wasn’t being honest we neither of us, that he didn’t know how to tell her that he was dating me, he ended up telling her the truth and that he wouldn’t be speaking to her anymore, he also was honest about how all those 4 months we were seeing each other he was talking to multiple girls, and even using tinder, he begged for another chance, that he was done fucking around cuz I was basically end game for him, and that he truly loved me, so I decided to forgive him, but there was something still bugging me, a few weeks before we were oficial he went on what apparently was a solo trip to another country, but I then found a girl who is a friend of his (I know who she is because we have friends in common too) was also at the same cities he was at the same time, damn she even starting posting pictures at the same places, I asked him about all of this and he just said that she was there with his boyfriend and that they just hang out sometimes, this for whatever reason never made sense to me, but I decided to believe him. Fast forward all this months every single time there was some kind of fight about me not trusting him or whatever and I asked about that trip he kept saying the same, that he went by himself and nothing else and that was the truth. We then move in together and he’s been a 10/10 boyfriend since we made it oficial, hasn’t give me a reason at all to suspect about him being unfaithful, he’s been nothing but amazing. I knew the password to his laptop so I could watch Netflix and I couldn’t help one day to look through his pictures, because deep down in me I knew he was lying about that trip, turns out I was right and I found all the photos, they did not only went on the trip together, they stayed at the same room hotel, she even stayed at his house in the same bed I used to sleep the night they left, I was absolutely heart broken, I confront her him about this, I wasn’t only mad about him going with the girl, I was mad about him not telling me the truth from the beginning, and him lying non stop every single time I asked, he told me he was sacred to tell me the truth because he knew I would leave him, that he regrets going on that trip, he swears that nothing really happened, that they actually got into a fight because she wanted to sleep with him and he didn’t want to, so the girl felt like he made her waste her time, they haven’t spoken since that trip and that was it, he swore they were no more lies and that was it, of course I do not believe the whole story but I kinda decided to let it go because it happened before we were oficial, this shit did fucked me up and made me a very insecure person tbh. I've been seeing a lot of UNICEF /UNESCO people on roads, pvr, malls literally everywhere trying to sign you up.
The money they collect all go into their salaries and their management. Very sure most of the money you donate isnt reaching the needy.
These people are hired by a few small organization One such is Focus organization which I've seen in coimbatore.
Here is my experience. They once sent me an email for a walk in interview as a business associate in coimbatore.
When i arrived, it was a run down building and on the third floor there was a small room and a dirty, office chair where I saw many of the people working there was taking photos wearing a suit that was passed around.
After the interview they were boasting that they were working with American express, Mercedes etc and you can choose whatever they want.
Then they made us learn a script in Tamil by heart and practice it. Before that they played loud music and made people dance to bring them to ease.
After the script you have to repeat it back to the leaders and they correct you in how to adjust the tone to manipulate and get the sympathy of the people.
Then they make these new hires go with one of their guys into the streets and then started going into shops malls, even colleges and reiterate the script.
Most funny thing was that they were showing a list of names with performers and there was a guy with the last name Bajaj. The owner of this place Dandu Dinesh said that this guy is from the Bajaj family and has a ton of money, but wanted to do his own business so he came to work with their begging scam.
They still lie and hire people with fancy names like business associate and that after 2 years they'll help you start your own business and all.
At the time they were collecting money for SOS organization. But I'm sure a large chunks of the money collected is going into their own pockets as I contacted SOS directly and they confirmed that these guys are taking out huge commissions.
Focus management was the name of this scam organization.

I quit in the same day and was pissed off. This Dandu even had the nerve to tell me if I'm looking for other jobs, he had contacts with AMEX and all and that he can refer me.
They are scammers. They make money in the name of charity. Nothing less that frauds.
Oh and one more thing. Majority of the staff I saw there were females. I think they're using females to manipulate guys into paying as I myself signed up for this subscription an year later in kerala without knowing it was them. A girl called me and sounded genuine. Said that she was working and is volunteering for the NGO.
I heard that they were looking to expand this thing to every city and later heard that they moved to kerala as well.
From another post in Bengaluru sub, i got to know that it was again Focus organization that is behind this as well.
If you see more two or more approaching you as a group, it means there is a leader in that pack who's training the noobs with him. That's how it goes. They sent out these people under the supervision of an experienced person to make sure that they don't message up their script.
SO BEWARE. AVOID THESE SCAMSTERS. DONATE TO A CHARITY YOU KNOW VERY WELL AND NOT VIA THESE AGENTS.

But all of them are instructed to not show the I'd card from their organization They'll claim they workdirecy with UNICEF OR UNESCO, but they're working with these agency leeches.

She’s now sent me the same pieces of paper with rectangles (blocks of color on paper) and no real examples of the colors on actual houses when my house is the last to be built so there should be plenty of examples. I really need to see the difference between the light and dark trim, as well as the model of my home, and she hasn’t even shown me what my brick will look like on a house.
I went there twice for this and it was a complete waste of my time because she wouldn’t show me any real examples. This is the first time I’m purchasing a home (400K which isn’t cheap to me at age 27) and I am about to call it a loss on the down payment because this lady has made my experience absolutely miserable.
She has only sent me samples of a color block on a sheet of paper and nothing in person or Id even accept a software program since they have one. I am guessing she doesn’t know how to work it.
Is there a way for me to get out of the contract if she isn’t doing her job? Is this at all normal?

I've been with the company 5 years in a full time management position. There are 3 full time managers and 1 part time, it has been this way since before I started. I work 5 days a week and on 3 of those days I am alone in the store with 1 cashier. My shift is 7:30-3 and the next manager is scheduled right at 3 but by the time they are ready to relieve me it's closer to 10 after. We have been told that an unpaid lunch break is mandatory and if we don't take it, we will be written up. Makes sense. The problem is that I'm required to clock out for a break that I have to be on call for, as the only manager on duty. I cannot leave the premises and I must respond immediately to pages from the cashier. (They can't do returns, price overrides, pay cards, etc without a manager). If the phone rings I have to answer it. This is going on 2 years now. Months ago, I brought it up to my store Manager and he promised I would have coverage. I have not. He schedules himself but then doesn't show up until just about 3, with the other manager. So my options are a write up, an unpaid working break, or wait until after my scheduled shift end to take an actual break. The few times I have brought it to my managers attention since, it has been ignored. I brought it up again today and it was ignored. But 30 minutes later I was told that 3 full time managers are not in the budget. The options are transfer to the nearest store with a matching vacancy or be demoted to part time cashier and lose my benefits, half my hours, a $4/hr pay cut, and my dignity. Now, he did have a meeting with his boss prior to this so it could very well be legit. But why me? I am not the low man, I have never had a less than perfect performance review, I have the same open availability as the other two, my attendance is better than one of them (same employee has been terminated by this company in the past). I know I very likely don't have any recourse but I cannot afford to take this demotion in any way and the nearest store could be an hour away. Is there any possibility for me here?

One could assume that these links are created by the SEO tools themselves to justify the purchase of their tools !?
Should I actually mark all these links in the Google Disavow Tool ?
A special page that appears in the Search Console but has no imprint and looks a bit spammy, for example, I already added 3 weeks ago but it still appears? Shouldn't it disappear from the link profile?

(Spoiler warning) When I went to see Anatomy of a Fall last year I couldn’t help but feel like in many ways it was meant as a modern retelling of The Shining. I still haven’t seen anyone else mention this yet so thought I’d post about it here to see if anyone has any thoughts :) First of all, the setting: they are both families with one son (of roughly the same age) living in an isolated house on a mountain, where the snow acts as a barrier between them and the outside world. Both films are about a family coming apart at the seams due to a parent who may or may not be going insane - in The Shining, Jack slowly descends into psychopathic madness whereas in AOAF we are left guessing right until the end whether or not Sandra killed her husband. In both, the father is somewhat of a failed writer tormented by his work and the blurring of lines between fiction and reality are major themes. This is also when Stephen King is mentioned in AOAF during one of the court scenes. The opposing lawyer is fixating on a scene where the protagonist of Sandra’s book imagines killing her husband, arguing that she seems to have thought this through quite deeply and it is evidence she committed the crime in real life. Vincent cuts in with “In that case I can read all of Stephen King’s work to show you he’s a serial killer” to which the lawyer responds “But Stephen’s King wife did not die in mysterious circumstances”. Sandra’s lawyer defends her by saying “A novel is not real life, an author is not her characters”. This seems to play on The Shining parallel by precisely reminding us this film is not The Shining despite its similarities, and Sandra hasn’t actually lost her mind and killed her husband.
The most striking parallel however is between the two sons: they have the same pudding bowl haircut, the same iconic red turtleneck and almost the same name (Danny VS Daniel). The fact that Daniel is a little older than Danny only reinforces the aspect that AOAF serves as a real life, more “practical” Shining retelling where the son is completely aware of what is going on. Another similarity between the two boys is their apparent mystic powers. Danny is of course possessed by “the shining” which allows him to see and hear things, whereas Daniel’s grandmother mentions several times that he has always been sensitive and prone to a certain supernatural ability to pick up on things. This is especially accentuated by his blindness, as his real vision seems to be a psychic one like Danny’s. In both films this child also represents the tensions between the parents as he is torn between both sides, especially seen in how Daniel grows increasingly suspicious of his mother throughout AOAF and Danny fears his father more and more as he descends into madness.
It’s been a while since I watched AOAF so I am forgetting many details and may have confused some, but I remember picking up on several more similarities throughout the film. Let me know if you agree/disagree with this analysis!

If this isn’t your first time as an RCB fan, then I’m honestly quite surprised that YOU’RE surprised at these posts. I’m myself not one of the OG supporters, but I’ve been a fan long enough to know that this team has the capability to give the fans the best of both worlds- highs of the highs and lows of the lows. And disappointment is definitely a major part of the RCB Fan Experience. Especially when all we have to do is WIN.
Weren’t you there just last year when we needed 3 games to win, the top order was in blazing form, we’d already won two, and had posted a good total in the third? Only to lose a hyped-up home game in the very last over to a Gill onslaught.
What about 2021, when there was all the hype about Kohli’s last season as captain? That season RCB had actually done pretty well- still the team’s best show since 2016. Only to lose against KKR in the eliminator.
What about 2018, when all that was required to qualify was one win against RR? They choked then too.
Either this is anti-jinxing, which, believe me, worked very well for the women’s trophy lol. Or, it’s the fact that most people here just keep their expectations really low so that at the end of the day they don’t experience the same disappointment they’ve been facing for the last 17 years. Sure, being positive is good, but this is RCB we’re talking about.
And it’s a match against CSK, who’ve owned us basically every year. This time at home.

28(F) and my boyf is 30(M), we have been together for 7 months now (first date was 7 months ago) have been boyf and girlf for about 2.5 months. It's his first relationship and he's made that apparent in the sense that we didn't have the exclusivity talk until i had bought it up, we didn't have the girlf boyf talk until i had bought it up. I have expressed multiple times to him that i would love to be more involved in his life, meet his friends more, do more spontaneous things (we don't live far at all from each other) and he has somewhat listened but I still don't feel completely heard (see below). I have also told him that my love language is cute messages, randomly being bought chocolates and flowers (as this shows that they have been thinking about you more than anything i can ofc buy myself flowers its more the thought that i am after than anything), being more involved in his life etc..
the thing that has stung a bit today and i'm not sure i'm overreacting to is that he has invited me to one of his close friends leaving party, i messaged him to check the date and told him that it clashed with my friends birthday which i messaged him to tell him that ofc he's invited too as well and then i said perhaps we can do a half day at X's (his friends) and half day at Y's (my friends), and his immediate response was 'no its X's leaving thing and i'd like to be there for him so no i won't come to Y's but you should definitley go to Y's/ don't not go to Y's on my account'. I was a bit hurt with this response as in my head i would always try to compromise but also my idea of a relationship i have is us being involved in each others lives (obvs not being in each other's pockets) but building a life together rather than living our own separate lives, i told him that he didn't even bother to ask what time Y (my friend's) thing was and where it was or even try to contemplate the idea of even popping into my friend's thing for a couple of hours, whereas i was willing to say yes lets do a few hours at my friends and then we can go to your friends leaving party and spend the rest of the day/ evening there. His reaction is that he thinks it's 'reasonable' for him to say that he won't be free on this day given one of his closest friends is leaving - which ofc i understand but it's more his general approach/ the context of our relationship that has left me feeling a bit bruised. I did reply to him saying that i'm not trying to push an agenda, i'm not someone to ever say we have to pick my friends over yours - i have told him multiple times i would love to meet his friends, especially this particular friend who is leaving and it would actually have been nice to have seen him some point in these 7 months we have been dating (considering how close they apparently are).
Anyways, i am not sure how to react. I am definitely not someone to die in a ditch over these things but i just genuinely feel like i am not being listened to, my emotional needs are being ignored (no matter how much i try to temper them down and try to act like a 'cool girl' who tries to be easy breezy), perhaps given the duration of our relationship i should try to be more easy breezy?
Anyways would love some insight into how to approach this clash of dates situation/ am i overreacting.

Platform: Flash player on PC (found from flash game websites back in the day, 2010-2012 or so at least)
Genre: Tower defense
Estimated year of release: 2009
Graphics/art style: low resolution, see picture I will attach (note that the picture is not the game I'm looking for)
Notable characters: a rat boss was the first boss round enemy, with a glowing blue background indicating that it's a boss. A slingshot (or something like it) was a tower that could shoot flying enemies. An expensive fire tower (cost like 900 or more).
Notable gameplay mechanics: every once in a while you could click on an enemy and do a massive blow on it. Flying enemies would come straight from the top (horizontal variation), not having to follow the trail used by ground enemies. You could start the next round early (and do this many times in a row IIRC), but this was risky because the game was quite hard. It was difficult to acquire more expensive towers (fire, ice, storm?).
Other details: Images: one showing what Flash element TD looks like, because it resembles the graphics of this game. The other picture is my drawing of a map layout I played the most in this game (was it the only map?). The picture only shows the outline of the trail, the actual game was way more detailed.

Hey everyone, I’m in need of some advice regarding how I can transition from my current career into the career that I actually want. I’m struggling to figure out how to do this so I was wondering if anybody would be willing to give some guidance.
So a bit of background, I’m 22 years old living in the UK, currently undertaking an apprenticeship in property maintenance. Since my days in secondary school, I haven’t really had a clue what to do with my life and I’ve tried a range of things: Going to university twice and eventually dropping out both times, then working a number of different jobs (retail, construction, delivery, restaurants, just to name a few) which usually lasts for 6 months before I get fed up and leave. I understand that my reason for leaving these jobs consistently aswell as dropping out of university twice is because I have no interest in the work that I’m doing, therefore it’s not sustainable.
I was somewhat interested in construction after doing labouring for a few months but wasn’t sure which trade to specialise in, hence why I went the maintenance route as you get to learn all trades on a basic level and then I could make an informed decision from there. However once again, 6 months later I find myself in the same predicament wanting to leave. The job in itself can be tolerable but the physical demands and being on your feet for 8 hours a day drains me and takes away from the things I like to do in my free time - the main thing being exercising and going to the gym. I come home and I’m too tired to do anything but lay down, sleep and prepare for the next day. On top of this I don’t see much career progression past a certain point, other than a management role, which doesn’t interest me and also won’t provide the salary or work life balance I’d want for my future.
One career that has been in my mind for the past few years is software development and for many reasons. One, I like to build things, and software development will allow me to do so in an unconventional way, as in I don’t have to physically build things but rather mentally, which will keep me stimulated enough to somewhat enjoy the job. Secondly I believe once I get to a certain point in this career, I will have a greater work life balance, a much better salary and overall improved quality of life than if I were to stay in my current role. Third, I studied computer science at GCSE and got a high grade but still struggled with some aspects of coding, so I gave up and never took it further. Now I want to return and develop these skills - Over the past 3 years, I keep finding myself going back to coding and spending 2-3 hours a day learning new languages on websites like Codecademy etc and it comes fairly naturally to me since I’ve done it in the past and I actually kind of enjoy it but then I get caught up with life and I forget about it for a few months before returning again.
Im not entering this field as a get rich quick scheme, ideally I want to land a degree apprenticeship which will take 3-5 years, but will give me all of the fundamental knowledge, qualifications and experience that I need to become a full fledged developer. I’d personally rather do this than go the self taught route, although I’d still consider it.
So my initial plan was to spend the rest of this year studying 2-3 hours every day and building upon my basic knowledge of a few programming languages and then applying for some apprenticeships but there’s some problems that I’m going to face.
I’m already enrolled in an apprenticeship, so to land a new apprenticeship this year I would have to leave this current apprenticeship within the next few months, find a normal job and then apply for some software apprenticeships when positions open up, however this will add ANOTHER 2 jobs on my CV that only lasted 3-6 months and will kind of show the employer that I’m not committed - I have nearly 10 jobs on my CV since 2018 and all of those have lasted 6 months so it’s a repeating pattern.
My other option is to finish this current apprenticeship which doesn’t end until December 2025, which just seems super long to me and I’d much rather spend that extra year and a half working towards my software career plus the job is genuinely starting to make me feel depressed. However, completing this apprenticeship will show my future employers that I can be committed to something and I’ll also have an extra 1.5 years to work on my coding skills further, so there are benefits.
What should I do?
Is it even possible to land an apprenticeship this year with only 6 months to teach myself the basics?
