2024.05.16 10:43 TyMaott 14.10 NO KRAKEN build

I've been experimenting to see why people keep rushing Kraken over Bork, because in the few games I did I felt like bork is CONSIDERABLY better, both for clear, and even champion damage.
Which I do think is the case (i tried in practice tool and the Bork on-hit just hits like a truck now on camps), plus now that kraken doesn't give crit anymore, you don't even have the extra damage for Q and R.
So right now I'm still experimenting but basically i always rush Bork and never build Kraken anymore.
The core build I've been doing is: Bork > LDR > BT > CollectoShieldBow > ShieldBow/CollectoIE?/Yun Tal?
Shieldbow before collector if you need some lifesteal/survivability or just wanna play it safer, because you don't really need the extra lethality honestly.
The new LDR just feels right early, and when you have your third item (going heavy ad) the damage is just so high. I kid you not when I say I've been playing Viego a lot, but this is one of the few times where my damage really surprised me. Highly recommend.
(also recommend to not take kraken but that might be too hot of a take right now)

2024.05.16 10:42 paranoidgummer [31/M] California/Anywhere - Platonic Chats

Hello there!
Looking for platonic chats, as I am in a long term monogamous relationship.
I am a stay at home boyfriend to a loving family of a girl and a three year-old cat. I spend my days cleaning a perpetually messy apartment, reading old video game magazines, watching TV shows, playing old video games, hanging with good friends, swimming, urban exploration, thrifting, biking, or sleeping.
I read the occasionally book too, but I mostly stick with autobiographies. Some notable reads for me personally are:
Ghost Rider by Neil Peart
It's Always Something by Gilda Radner
Kiss Me Like a Stranger by Gene Wilder
Comedy, Comedy, Comedy, Drama by Bob Odenkirk.
I really love pop culture history.
I'm really easy to talk to, and like to think of myself as an open book. I think any topic can be discussed, as long as things remain platonic. I'm just here to meet some new people to chat with, learn some things, and gain new perspectives. It's always nice when you find people you click with, but it's also fine to just have a quick chat and move on.
I am very introverted and need a lot of personal time to relax and destress, so if you are someone who needs constant attention, this isn't the place for it. I think it's fair that people have lives to live and they need their space and I will give it. I expect the same courtesy. I don't need to you to respond right away, or even the same day if that's just what your schedule permits.
I'm a big video game lover and collector, and right now my passion is collecting and playing PS3 games. Tell me about all the video games that are important to you, or just what you are currently playing.
What's your favorite song or album?
Every little detail makes people unique, which makes every possible new interaction exciting.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Cheers x

2024.05.16 10:42 Tbirddaily Dangling Stardust Jar

Dangling Stardust Jar
Has anyone else seen this? Seems like a glitch happened during my Stardust Challenge that caused a stardust jar to dangle and bounce in the middle of the screen. It even remained after finishing the challenge and was displayed in the foreground on almost every screen in the game. It disappeared during ads and a few other times but then reappeared. Thankfully during game play it moved to the background so it wasn’t blocking any emojis, but it sure was distracting. Eventually I had to exit and restart the app to get rid of it. Reported to JC. 🤷‍♀️

2024.05.16 10:41 Alpha_Omega0985 Is there a way to fix the camera stutter/skip when using mouse and keyboard for Fallout 76 on PC?

Hello all,
After taking a long break from Fallout 76 I have decided to start playing through it again and I normally use a controller but this time I wanted to practice a bit using mouse and keyboard and I noticed that when looking around the camera will sometimes stutter or suddenly skip (I don't really know how else to describe it) and so far I haven't found a way to fix this within the game itself and I was wondering if you guys maybe have an idea on how to remedy this issue?
Thank you!

Game looks insane but I only have a Radeon RX 550, minimum system requirements on steam is a 470 but recommended is nvidia 2060 or Radeon 6600xt so I don’t really know, can anyone playing on low end gpu tell me if the game is running good for them? Thanks :)

It's basically a square floor with all the items he wanted to put, the bigger the better, and if one wants to play it well, it's like 3 seconds tops... I published it so his big sister could play with him (I made it in ps4, she plays in switch), but last night we came back from the park and when I open the game it had more than a hundred plays and half the likes. Maybe just because it's published it is possible to appear in "Explore" or something? I've unpublished it again, because it really is a playground for toddlers and players will be frustrated... But now is there a way he could play with his sister without publishing it again? Here's a screenshot, so you can see how basic it is (but he has a blast whenever he plays it XD XD XD)

2024.05.16 10:41 LisaFame [Co-op Question] How will co-op work?!

Hello there,
I am not that active on the "news" front for Rumble. I am a (mostly) f2p player and just seen the announcement in the game for sieges and raids. Since I am not a "big player", I am just in a guild with two friends and that is fine, so we can definitely somehow play the sieges and raids (even if not fully defeating it, just having fun).
Now I have search the internet a bit and even tried to find information here, but could find what I am looking for and maybe that is, because it is not even known yet, but...
TL;DR: ...How will co-op work?! Will both players play simultaneous on the same map?! If so, will they share resources?! Or do they play one after another?! If so, can you watch your friend playing his round?!
Thanks for the infos. Again I couldn't find that information and maybe someone can answer here real quick.

2024.05.16 10:40 Pbadger8 Yasuke is actually everything you claim to want to see in video games

First off. Does Yasuke take away representation from Asian men? Is he denying audiences the ability to play as a Japanese Samurai?
Well, no. Because if you want to do that, there’s still Ghost of Tsushima, Nioh 2, Way of the Samurai 1, Way of the Samurai 2, Way of the Samurai 3, Way of the Samurai 4, Way of the Samurai 5, Samurai Warriors 1, Samurai Warriors 2, Samurai Warriors 3, Onimusha, Genji, Shadow Tactics, Total War Shogun, Muramasa, Sengoku Basara 1, Sengoku Basara 2, Sengoku Basara 3, Sengoku Basara 4, Nobunaga’s ambition, Sekiro, Tenchu, Tenchu 2, Toukiden, Toukiden 2. And many MORE!
My point is, there’s a lot of games set in the Sengoku period. You’re not missing out on Japanese protagonists. GO PLAY THEM. You don’t need a shitty franchise like Assassin’s Creed to get immersed in feudal Japan.
Yasuke though… he is something new though, isn’t he? I don’t think he’s ever been a main character before. We haven’t really been able to play as a character like him before. Don’t you like a fresh experience?
And Yasuke has a fascinating story. Perfect for assassin’s creed’s grand historical epics. He was brought to Japan as a slave and became a samurai. Everybody loves a rags to riches story. He was given a stipend (made a samurai) by Nobunaga, one of the three unifiers of Japan. THIS IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE. GO TO AskHistorians IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE ME. So Yasuke is IN THERE in the historical drama. He’s in the thick of some really interesting historical developments. And then when his master dies, he disappears from the historical record, shrouded in mystery. That’s a perfect character for this kind of game, especially in AssCreed where they hand-wave historical inaccuracies as being misinformation from the templars. Plus… he’s actually MORE historical than Altair, Ezio, or Connor. That doesn’t even matter, though. AssCreed has animal stand battles with King George Washington. It’s never been afraid to distort history for a good time.
If you are tired of games feeding you the same old tired plotlines, then this dude is perfect for you. There’s great drama just built into his historical backstory.
Now personally I still think the game is going to be trash because it’s Ubisoft and they are probably going to put in $10 microtransactions for sword guard skins or something.
But THIS DUDE Yasuke checks all of your boxes if you want games to have interesting and fresh stories. If you actually GENUINELY care about compelling narratives in video games, put your money where your goddamn mouth is and prove to me that you’re not just reflexively shitting on the game because it’s got a black dude.

2024.05.16 10:39 LiquidRex Question about skills in dialogue in KotOR 2

It's been a few years since I last played this game, but I'm trying to remember if certain skills have any significant dialogue options (or any other notable utility outside of their more immediately obvious functions). There are the obvious skills like Persuade (which is the sole purpose of that skill of course) and Awareness which both unlock a ton of useful dialogue options in this game and are thus you always will want to invest in them for the Exile. Computer and Repair also get a fair amount of use throughout the game (doing fixing T3 up being the usual highlight, but hardly the only one).
But then there's stuff like Treat Injury, if I recall the only noteworthy dialogue check there is healing Geriel on Nar Shaddaa, and it's not a particularly high check (but you do need at least some small amount of investment since I remember at least one playthrough of this game where it wasn't high enough enough to work). I think Demolition and Security might have dialogue options somewhere, but I not only cannot remember where or how significant they were, and I don't remember any dialogue options for Stealth at all. Is there any point to investing in these four skills to any serious amount for the Exile (outside of the minimum needed for certain things like putting a handful of points in Security and Demolitions to handle everything by yourself in Peragus for example), especially considering you can always just use a party member if you want to craft stuff from these particular skills at a workbench.
Also bonus question, I'm assuming that for checks that are based on attributes, logically it's just INT and WIS for those, right? Like I can't imagine how a CHA check would work that wouldn't just be lumped under Persuade, and I am pretty sure I would've remembered seeing a check for the physical attributes like STR or DEX considering how high I make either of those skills on any given playthrough (depending on build), and I usually try to get a raw 18 in CON for the D-Packages so chances are if there were somehow checks for those I probably would've seen them too.

2024.05.16 10:39 L1ghtyagami123 Thresh is the ultimate mentalism champion

In the 2021 movie Nightmare Alley, the protagonist Stanton Carlyle can appear to read people’s minds through observation, profiling, mind games, and other tricks. He is engaged in Mentalism.
Essentially this is what Thresh embodies. Thresh mains will appear to be able to predict movements with near 100 percent accuracy based on mind games, careful observation of patterns, understanding of low elo vs high elo “tendencies,” and trying to see things from the POV of the ennemy. When this art is mastered, the Thresh is feared in the battlefield and the regular low elo scrub will think… “This is impossible. We’re in big trouble. Somehow he can land all these hooks. He can read my mind!!!!”
The Thresh will appear to be outrageously skilled or even a hacker while in actuality, like the Mentalist from Nightmare Alley, he’s just really practiced and skilled at observation.
Thresh games are also always 1-3 potential plays away from the danger of Shut Eye (Where the performer creates his own doom because he starts to believe in his own act so much that he thinks he is God). When this happens, the Thresh will think that he can do anything and will start making over aggressive gambles that can lead to a loss, similar to what happened in Nightmare Alley. Playing a Thresh is a constant battle to stay one step ahead of the enemy while always being cognizant of realistic probabilities and one’s limits.

2024.05.16 10:39 SpunPrincess My last goodbye

I decided to try to write you a letter.
A final letter.
I’m really beginning to believe that you have been playing me for a sucker. Either on purpose or not, either way. I have to go. You have put me through so much. More than I know you remember….so while my actions seem weird or extreme to you, that’s what trauma and years of abuse does….that’s what lying does….that’s what giving someone a safe space only for that to be turned around on them when they are vulnerable. Yeah, I know those things happened to you and it wasn’t right then either but I had no control over that.
So why me? All I ever did was try to help, try to love you and ask for very little in return, if anything. I consistently see you being so nice and polite to strangers and treat me like I fucked up your life or something. When you know damn well that isn’t true. You sold me a false hope and have strung me along on that same hope that that guy would return but I have finally faced the music and accepted that you don’t love me. I don’t know if you ever did. But what you did love was the way I loved you. There’s nothing in the world I wouldn’t do for you…..
I have always been the same with you but had to prove my loyalty time and time and time again. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy through what you put me through. But you know what the kicker was, finally realizing that you actually think I’m stupid because I allow your stupid antics. You think I can’t hear you texting late at night with the cover over your head. Or I don’t see the look on your face when your phone goes off and you want to grab it but I’m right beside you so you escape to the bathroom to quickly return the text. You think I can’t feel your arm move? Or hear the sound of your phone dropping on the metal table? Seriously? That I don’t hear the click from your nails on the screen while you lay there and insult my intelligence by fake snoring…..yeah yeah I know. I’m crazy. You aren’t doing nothing right? You don’t have time for all that? Bad thing is, I honestly don’t know what the fuck you are doing and I’m tired trying to figure it out. I’m tired of feeling alerted when I’m around you because I feel like I’m waiting for the final blow. You slowly chipped away that the 100% trust I had in you in the beginning. You have yourself to blame for that.
You told me every time I get upset like this, I am dead ass right there is something going on. So why can’t you be a man and stop this stupid shit? These are boys games. Men don’t conduct themselves this way. What do you get out of acting like I can’t see you texting? Or jumping to switch the screen every time I move? Or acting like I can’t see your fingers texting while you act like you doing something else. You are so dumb and make it so fucking obvious so that I wouldn’t think you would be stupid enough to do that but you are. Fuck everyone who thinks about playing with you but you always play with others, including me…….I’m so stupid to believe that you lie to everyone on the planet except for me? Wow? Really? The one time I asked you why me? What about me made you want to be with me. I bet you don’t even remember your response……that you fuck with the people you fuck with for whatever reason…….wow. Don’t make me feel too fucking special. I might smile or something.
Fuck.
So ya know, I’m done. I love you so much but I am miserable. I have been lying to myself that it will be okay and my knight in shining armor will return and we will be happy together but sadly, no. It won’t. It isn’t. I put on a smile and act like everything is great and cry myself to sleep almost every night. You shattered my fractured heart. Something you promised you would never do…..but you did. Over and over and over. Now I have to go because I choose to be happy even if I am alone…..
what you did to me has changed me forever and I can never go back to the way I was before. I didn’t ask for any of that. I didn’t ask to be taught lessons. All I wanted was you, how you portrayed yourself to me. Someone to keep me safe from the awful things out there, not knowing the worst threat was beside me……so I am choosing to leave before I hate you. Before the silent resentment starts because I do love you…..but I can’t do this anymore. 5 years of my life and I go to sleep looking at your back as you turn away from me and text under the blanket on your phone. I lay there and fight tears because I feel so rejected by you…..you want me around when I’m useful to you. But when was the last time you were useful to me? When was the last time you did something you didn’t want to do, selflessly, for me? You don’t treat me like you see my value…..sometimes, I believed you just didn’t know any better but you just let me make excuses for you…..and I have nothing left to give you and anything I ask for from you feels forced, you almost can’t even look me in the face. When was the last time you looked in my eyes and told me you loved me? When was the last time you held me or just wanted to be close to me? Yeah I don’t know either…..and this is why it’s easier to keep my mouth shut because i don’t like saying hurtful things but fuck it. You certainly have no problem hurting my feelings, spouting off the most asinine, dishonest things, putting me in a chokehold and causing me to get a knot on my head never asking if I was okay or even apologizing……Serves you right you hurt your knee. That’s what happens to bad people, karma will eventually get you and if she doesn’t, God will.
but 🤨violators get violated right? So what happens to you when your violators come to violate you?
I hope you find what you are looking for in life and always remember me.

2024.05.16 10:39 NOH7 Why is live support not helping? we wasted so much time on this

I guess its time for me to stop buying premium altogether after what happened yesterday. Me and my trio queued for the game and got matched with some 2 guys who apparently had beef in their previous match together. Unlucky for us 1 'nice' guy from Kosovo decided to completely troll the game since the start and even told us not to join game because he is going to ruin the game for us all just because he wanted to punish this other guy from his previous game. Ofc we did join because we are not taking no no-show bans. And that was a mistake the guy insta called our positions in pistol round while staying afk. Game was ruined we even wasted our precious time calling timeouts and waiting for admin to come. admin just threw a warning and left without any solution LOL He did not cancel the game even though the guy started obviously trolling since round 1 and the troll guy - https://www.faceit.com/en/players-modal/LE0S- even said he will never get banned for this. and after a match made it sound it like it was our fault for joining the game since he 'warned us he is going to troll this' This is beyong ridiculous guy was still playing games like its nothing. I would ban this guy for half a year at least lol faceit is beyond joke why is live support even a thing if anybody can behave like this? 2024.05.16 10:38 backtrap Would a Lenovo Legion Y540 be able to run Helldivers 2?

The processor is an i5 9300HF
RAM is 8GB
GPU is an NVIDIA GTX 1650
I've been researching on this. I understand that the RAM and GPU can handle it but there's no info on the processor's ability to handle it. Given the minimum/recommended requirements are both i7s (4790/9700K)
I was giving up but there are YT videos where people claim to be playing it on i3 processors as well and I'm not sure if they just trolling or if it's possible.
Tried ChatGPT; it says the game will run on low spec (Which I'm ok with) it also says I should upgrade my RAM to 16Gigs (But it's ChatGPT so not sure how credible the info is)
Would appreciate any advice on this. Cheers

2024.05.16 10:38 nelentari_x New player question. Is it okay to play duo as two of the same class?

Just picked the game up due to the sort of relaunch with the new patch and will be playing duo with my partner. Can we both pick the same class? Is this a good or bad thing? If good, what are some good combos?

2024.05.16 10:37 Technical-Pea-7650 24m looking for someone to talk to

Hello everyone looking at this post. I’m looking for a friend I can vibe chill and get to know on a deeper personal level I hope. I crave more relationships in my life and/or just people to talk to.
Here’s a bit about myself. I enjoy playing video games the most. I’m a pc gamer, and I have a crap ton of games. But I mostly play league, valorant and cs. Recently been getting into Terraria and currently playing persona 5 and elden ring . Favorite game all time is portal 2 or Luigi’s mansion. I love watching shows, anime or regular. Currently watching jjk and AoT, and caught up in one piece. I occasionally like the outdoors and do things like fishing, camping, hiking, just enjoying the nature and vibes. For music, I enjoy rap and rock but I also like other niche stuff. Favorite artist is juice wrld. Oh and I guess a favorite movie of mine is Donnie Darko, love physiological thrillers.
Overall, I’m a pretty laidback person and would like to get to meet some new people. Have a good day/night!

2024.05.16 10:37 prolific_21 Patches the Pirate in Standard?

Was playing some standard just now and played against a guy who had Filletfighter, Patches, and Dr Boom's Boombox (which I don't even think is a collectible card) in Standard, what's happened here?
I don't have an actual recording of the game but I have the HSReplay
If this is something that happens often and I'm just not aware of it I apologize but I've played nearly 10,000 ranked games in nearly 10 years of Hearthstone and cannot recall seeing anything like this before.

2024.05.16 10:37 hugluke [PC] [2017-2019] Monster that mimics the main character

I watched a YouTuber (maybe John Wolfe) play a first person game with a female main character who is looking for her dog, or something. I think it's a pretty short game. There is a field, and the enemy mimics the woman, by repeating things that she previously said, with her voice.

2024.05.16 10:37 Silfyn First world problems, want to get a penta

So, I perform quite well in vex, even when I played ranked for a bit (got to plat but just played less than 30 games, I dont like competitive environments because I like to be silly and play for fun) I performed very well with almost 70% wr, but I cant seem to ever get a penta on vex. I really really want to get a penta but its SO HARD even If you're super fed, I've got so many quadras and hundreds of triples but getting 5 people is so hard, landing 5 ultimate in a roll is extremely hard because after the third one if the enemy team has half a brain they space and run away and are aware that i want to ult them, or they have a tank that I just dont have the damage to burst before they run away, or I kill 4 people but because fear doesn't trully recharge between kills I get damaged and the last one kills me
I guess I just have to keep playing and getting better at landing consecutive ults consistently or get a fight where everyone is low from the start
