2024.05.16 00:11 SubjectC Many podcasters really need to do something about remote interview audio quality, its borderline unbearable sometimes.
Im not trying to bitch and moan here, I think that remote interviews, while not ideal, are a great way to get information out and have conversations with people who you could never realistically meet up with in person, but man, the audio is so damn bad so often, like to the point that I cant always make out what the guest is saying.
Even just a recorder app running on just about any phone from the last 10 years would get better audio than zoom.
Theres gotta be some app that can record their voice and let them email it to the host easily so they can sync it up and run it through adobe podcast AI or something.
Even zoom audio can be cleaned up pretty well with Adobe podcast, I work in video and I've done it a lot for different editing projects but even big shows like the ones on NPR don't seem to be using it.
Also, Discord has MUCH better call quality, but everyone seems to use Zoom for some reason. I have friends with shitty internet who live on the other side of the planet from me, and it sounds fine, I really don't get why people arent using discord for this stuff.

I just really wanted to share the excitement with everyone because this is a huge deal for me! I worked really hard on the ref sheet, and was a little bit hard on myself for weeks about the final product (I struggle badly with art insecurity) but eventually I fixed what I didn’t like about it, and I recieved the email back about the process beginning and I am absolutely so excited! It’s estimated to take 6 to 8 weeks! My love doesn’t have any merchandise, not even one thing, so to do this was on the top of my priorities. I feel that it holds so much value to my heart because I’m doing this for them, it’s a one of a kind, so it’s very special. I’m sososososososo excited!!!! How can I even calm down to wait the 6 to 8 weeks?!? At the time I’m in my life right now, I’m getting bad news right and left, causing me to feel physically distant from my s/o. (Not mentally don’t worry) so a plush would make me feel better giving all of the hugs!

I have a series X right now and a small gaming monitor. My plan is to get the Logitech G Pro wheel and pedals. I know it’s on the expensive side but my plan is to buy top of the line now so it will last a while and will be compatible with both Xbox and PC so i can get a PC one day along with a whole seat and frame etc.
Is this a good plan? Also any comments on the G Pro?

I (31M) have been pushing myself really hard the last 10 months (teaching junior high, being in classes, side gigs) and finally had a bit of a crash last month. Now I’m barely making it through the day without a nap, finding myself incredibly anxious in my friendships and relationships and vacillating between anxious and avoidance attachment with everyone.
The worst thing is that I have felt like I have lost a lot of my interest in anything. I’m not fun, interesting, witty or remotely remarkable. And that makes my anxiety worse. I’m looking for external validation for all the flaws.
I feel like I’m pushing people away either with anxiety or avoidance.
I’m just tired. I’m trying to support a number of friends in the things they’re doing, but I’m not sure how when I feel so bleh.

So my right wisdom teeth are coming in faster then the left and it’s completely messed up my entire bite. My molar is crooked now (also please ignore the cavity) and they also made my front bottom teeth more crooked. I have a consultation for a dentist to look at my teeth on the 30th? I think.. to decide if/when I need to get them taken out. it’s the earliest they could get me in for a consult and I’m so scared my teeth won’t go back to how they were.
And like is it normal for it to really hurt when swallowing?? Is the swelling normal? I included a photo of just the right side and I’m even holding back allot of the swelling. Second photo shows the comparison to my left & right side. When I don’t hold back my cheek on the right side for photos it’s just a huge thing of swelling, the tissue around the wisdom tooth hurts so bad. So here's the story, DD, TA, and some fucking rage for those corporate criminals Fire PG&E was supposed to turn off the power due to weather conditions - they announced this 4 days ahead of time. But they didn't, to turn an extra dime, and go figure: it started a massive fire. Soon, chunks of bark were flying miles across the sky, due to the high winds, igniting the town from all sides. Spreading at a football field a minute, they'd say. But that's not even where we stopped get fucked over by these assholes
in fucking $PCG stock after destroying the town and dropping over -93% ..... 2. waiting figuring life out, homelessness, clothes etc. The money was supposed to help with all that. It would be a few years before getting any of it, though, leaving survivors SOL. All the while, the lawyers and admins in charge of distributing the trust rack up $98 million in fees. Anyways here's the kicker, and why survivors struggled without this money for years. The stock that funded the wasn't enough to make the payouts. We would have to wait, FOR THIS CHART, to recover. We saved NOTHING, none of our belongings, home, car, clothes nothing escaped from this fire. And we were holding our breath on a setup that needs years of accumulation. They seriously paid the trust in worthless stock and said wait for it to bounce. Let's just say PG&E had better lawyers than whoever was representing survivors. 3. I’m rewatching season one, and with the recent reappearance of Charlie’s sisters and it seeming like s17 will begin filming soon it’s got me thinking about Terell and Colin. There have been some easy opportunities to bring them back, with The Gang Turns Black and any episode dealing with Mac’s sexuality sticking out to me as scenarios where Terell could have returned. Colin might’ve returned in Gun Fever 2 and is oddly absent from the lineup of Dee’s ex boyfriends when she’s preparing to give birth. In universe it’s understandable that neither of them want anything to do with the Gang, but would you have any interest in seeing them again? Or has Charlie’s sisters’ teeth ASMR made you think older characters are best left in their era?

This tree was planted last year and thanks to this community I realized it’s planted way too deep. I had to dig almost 8 inches to get to this point, to my horror they even left the entire metal wiring in the ground.
Finally reached a large horizontal root on the left side, I assume that’s the root flare? If so then I can make the surrounding soil more flat and start putting in mulch.
Also the other small roots sticking out of the ground, and a thicker one on the right side, should I cut them?

His motive for escaping was in order to protect Harry, he seems to have cared more about Harry being safe than clearing his own name.
