I recently down tiered everything to tier 2 but and have been having the most fun with this game. I had the Johnson 1914 for all my rifle squads, the Lancaster (<-did I spell that right) for my assault squads and whatever else. But I just bought the lee einfield for all the rifle squads and ofc the M1 Carbine for some. And its been a blast. Although for some reason Enlisted let me keep my Sherman Firefly and it still put me in BR I-III, not really sure why

The M1 carbine is a pellet shooter (understandable it is irl) but in classes such as medic you get 2 magazines only, by the time you have layed down a few rounds you're onto the 1911 so essentially you're dead.
The BAR is literally the M1 Garand except shit, with the full auto being next to useless, except in extreme close quarters situation. It feels as if it's weaker also so what's the point of using it?
Really sucks to see, compared to other weaponry in the German side, which all have differences but are usable in most situations.
Rant over, I'm probably coping so apologies if they're actually decent lmao.

Universal m1 carbine
I have asked a couple of other questions about my new rifle, but I wanted to get some more opinions.
I picked up a universal m1, later model (I know the concerns) for a really good price because it was listed as "mechanically fully functional but no visible rifling."
The pawn shop said that sometimes they accidentally shipped them with just the gun assembled and the barrel blanked but unrifled.
However, I now have the gun in hand, and it has obviously been fired and used. It has handling marks and its in a used but not abused condition.
My questions are
  1. How visible should the rifling be? I have looked with the lights and cameras I own and I can't tell any difference between this gun and the 10/200 and savage 99 I own.
  2. Has anybody else heard of stories of fully completed Universal rifles being shipped with the barrel not rifled? It seems like they wouldn't attach the barrel to the receiver before rifling the blank barrel.

Someone put up a 1916 Erfurt Mauser for 300 bucks near me, but the only problem with it (from what I noticed) is that the stock has been fucked with and cut down. I know I would probably need a new stock and barrel bands, but is there anything else I would need to completely restore this gun, and at that price point would it be smarter to just go and get an original one instead? (Guy also has a 1945 inland M1 carbine for 1100 that I’ve been considering)

They already have the Alice webbing and older guns like the SKS in the game, I think we should have triangle handguard M16a1's, the old M1 steel helmets along with the full kit. I know it's not "modern", but neither is the SKS or Alice webbing. Also more guns would be cool like the M14, MK23 SOCOM, CZ75, FN FAL, HK G3, M1 Carbine, Galil, Beretta Model 12. I don't know if anyone agrees with me on this, I'm just personally hoping that they add more non-modern weapons and gear.

It seems like that part shouldn't be affected because it doesn't have anything to do with the mechanical operation of the rifle.

2024.05.14 18:10 MadDog-80 Inland M1 Carbine

Just picked up an Inland M1 Carbine off Gunjoker and I'm trying to find out as much as possible about it. She's a hodge podge of parts but the barrel and receiver seem to be original. I paid $1,200 so lemme know if I got screwed.
Apparently, the rifle has been re-parkurized by Fulton Armory. I e-mailed Fulton and they don't have any record of it. Their electronic records only go back to 2012 though.
Stock is marked "AAG" on right side so the rifle was rebuilt by Agusta Arsenal Georgia.

So this thing was an Idea I had, wanted to make one of those tanker M4s combined with a SR-447 type gun. Exterior has some nicks and scratches. Gearbox 80% SHS parts with few other parts I had. Motor is a Lonex A3, Modified Flat Hop, Mad Bull 6.03 Barrel 230 mm (Was originally a Prometheus but was not doing that well). Stock has 6 adjustment points and can be extended quite a lot.

Got this of a guy a while ago, was a swit upgraded PPSH, everything works fine buy Semi is a bit finicky but works fine with a 8.4. Semi only works some times when using 11.1 or 9.6 battery’s. I think its an issue with the trigger.

Need help/advice concerning elevation adjustments on my Inland M1 carbine
Hi folks,
My M1 carbine is a inland and has the graduated rear sight that can be adjusted to 1, 2, 2.5 and 3 (100, 200, 250 and 300 yards).
From what I red, m1 battle carbine were adjusted in a way that should have a 6 o’clock hold under a 6 3/8" target. ( SR-1 NRA targets) Basically aiming 3 3/16" under the bullseye.
I went many times to the range and slowly filed down the front sight that was way too high. Today, I went to the range again to finish my sight adjustments with my own reloads (110gr FNJ RN bullet with 15gr of H110 (max load)) and with oem PPU ammo.
I was very pleased with the results but I had a small concern…
At 50 yards, I need to use a 6 o’clock being on the 1 one the rear sight. Both (my reloads and PPU) hit bullseye 👍
At 100 yards, (using the "1" on rear sight) I need to have a 6 o’clock hold with my reloads to hit bullseye 👍 but now need to use a center hold to hit bullseye with PPU (I can live with that)
At 200 yards, (using the "2" on rear sight) I now need to use a center hold for both my reloads and PPU ammo. I guess I can live with that aswell.
At 250 yards, (using the "2.5" marking on the rear sight) I need to use a center hold for both ammunitions again. With PPU I have a great group for the distance (for me at least) 7"-8" group but it is impacting 8" low. Concerning my reloads, it impacted 6" low with a center hold as well (was running out of ammo, just fired one shot of my reloads at this distance)
At 300 yards, (using the "3" marking on the rear sight) I need to use a center hold for both ammunitions again. With PPU, I did a 9" group but 7" low and with my reloads, (was running out of ammo, just fired one shot of my reloads at this distance) and it impacted at The bullseye with a center hold.
Now, my question is, do I keep this like that since I know where to aim and hold to hit the target or should I file slightly the front post again (0.006"=1/2" at 50 yards elevation change, around 3" at 300 yards) wich seems to be what I’d need to have a 6 o’clock hold at 300 but I’d be in between a center hold and a 6 o’clock hold at 200 and I’d still be low even with center hold….
Also, the barrel was changed at some point in the rifle’s life and is a tiny bit longer witch may be part of the reason why the sight doesn’t fit perfectly with the markings. But I want to keep it that way since it’s now an non-restricted rifle 😁.
I hope this is quite clear, Any idea or suggestions?

I managed to get my hands on a Universal M1 Carbine with no mags and ordered 2 KCI mags, one 15 and the other 30. When I try to use the mags if I load more than like 5 or 6 the gun jams on the second bullet. It will load the first one fine but the second fails to chamber be it getting stuck or if loaded in wont fire. One of my brothers says it is a mag issue but I am unsure if that is the case at least. If it is one then what do y'all recommend for mags?

Due to Berlin's bizarre occupation rules, German troops and weapons were not allowed in the occupied city. To get around this, the Police received intense military training and the riot police were equipped as light infantry. A large auxiliary police force formed a reserve. In the event of invasion they were all to be attached to allied units. It was estimated that they'd be annihilated in four days, but would divert and slow the communist push west.
Since German weapons were not allowed, these were assembled in France from Walther parts. Manurhin manufactured these immediately following the war on confiscated machinery. Serial # indicates an early issue, '62. The sunburst ( often mistaken for a flower) on the trigger guard is a Berlin proof. On the other side, the Berlin bear is barely visible. The crossed cannons below it is a mystery, one theory is that these were originally headed to Portugal.
My torn shoulder holster is marked PpBn for Polizei Praesidium Berlin. It also would fit the Lugers and perhaps the FN 1922s that were common in the mess of handguns before. The belt holster is correct for Bundeswehr, BGS, and provincial police. Berlin used one that was slightly closer to wartime. .
Besides this they used the MAS 36 and Sten , French light machine guns the designation of which I forget, and as time went on increasingly Garands, M1 Carbines, etc. Later large caches were found , likely of a BN GPMG. Mid 70s they were rearmed with modern weapons by the Bundeswehr.
