Well oiled machine: when healing another survivor press the active ability button to stop the nearest 3 generators regressing and become blocked from being kicked for 10/15/20 seconds. This perk goes on cooldown for 60 seconds.
Guardian angel: This perk has 1/3/5 points, after unhooking a survivor, use one of these points to give a survivor an extra health state for 5/10/15 seconds. If you are sacrificed or moried with at least 1 point left, a random survivor gains this extra health state.

There is a general consensus on main points of the uber-killer one shot kill blood golemancer (Army of the Dead, Shadowblight passive, Blood Golem), but not so much on a general build. There are a lot of variations out there by different content creators, I want to kind of discuss the pros and cons and gather my thoughts on how to shape a minion necro that can still kill uber bosses relatively quickly without hampering the ability to speedfarm gear or push pit levels.
I'm not going to get in to the nitty gritty details about exact paragon placement and such, but more a high level overview of different takes on the Minionmancer.

Considerations

Attack Speed
According to the Mega Minion Guide, there are two buckets that can individually reach separate caps of 100%.

• The first bucket
  • Cult Leader board will almost always provide 10%, as it's on the way to a key legendary node
  • In contrast, the 5% on the Flesh Eater board is kind of out of the way and is likely not worth the 8-ish points required to unlock
  • The 25% on Hulking Monstrosity board can replace a gear roll, but that ONLY applies to Golem attack speed so is only relevant if you're focused on stacking golem damage over mage damage. The golem attack speed nodes are also pretty far away from the glyph slot and legendary node.
  • The rest (65 or 90%) must come from gear. Kalan's Edict key passive can effectively replace 2 gear rolls allowing us to focus masterworking stats on crit and int instead.
• The Second Bucket
  • There is no reasonable way to reach 100% here
  • Rapid and Rathma's Chosen aspects do not apply as minions don't have "basic attacks" and we're not casting overpowered blood skills
  • Enhanced Reap can give 30%, though won't help with single target fights
  • For Accelerating aspect Blight is the only Core skill we may be casting, but we won't be spamming it so it's probably not worth using it over other aspects for 10%
  • Frenzied Dead aspect is going to be an auto-include as it's an extra 45% with almost no restriction

Cooldown Acceleration
We have a few reliable ways of cheating out lower cooldowns

• Blood Orbs
  • Requires sacrificing a ring slot for the Fastblood Aspect and a defensive slot for the Embalmer Aspect
  • Not very many reliable ways to get Blood Orbs, need to run Blighted Corpse Tendrils and/or Hemorrhage basic skill alongside Embalmer
• Reaper Upgrade 1
  • More consistent on bosses and doesn't require two aspects.
  • We won't be able to rely on the other Skeletal Warrior paths to taunt or generate corpses
• Abhorrent Decrepify
  • We don't really want to focus our stats on lucky hit, this can supplement but shouldn't be relied on

Corpse Generation
When farming, corpses will be plentiful from random trash. When fighting bosses where are our corpses going to come from?

• Sever and Decompose basic skills both make corpses. Sever is slower (1 per 4s), but Decomposition (1 per 1s) requires channeling.
• Hulking Aspect spawns corpses on Golem attacks, good pick for a utility aspect
• Bone Golem Upgrade 1 makes 5 corpses on command, but this is a bit painful as many of the various golem upgrades have really good effects
• Army of the Dead is a long cooldown, but generates tons of corpses. Corpses will have to come from trash mobs between bosses. Taking this means losing Bonestorm.
• Reaper Upgrade 2 has pretty nice corpse generation, but would lose out on the lowered cooldowns from upgrade 1

Vulnerable Application

• Decompose basic skill is a reliable way to make the target vulnerable though channeled skills are a pain to use. Would lose out on Sever's attack speed boost in non-boss situations.
• Bone Golem Upgrade 2 applies vulnerable and does pretty decent damage to boot
• Plagued Corpse Tendrils isn't a bad utility option on top of grouping mobs together, but it does have a lengthy cooldown and requires a corpse
• Cold Mage Upgrade 2 is essentially permanent vulnerable, but losing the shadow damage limits our other options severely.
• Bone Prison This is probably only reasonable for the uber-killer one shot variant. Need to pair with Plunging Darkness Aspect

Ultimate Skill

• Army of the Dead
  • Very spiky gameplay going through peaks and valleys of damage.
  • This skill wants to stay unused until you reach a difficult encounter (especially a single target fight). Using this will then end that fight in moments
  • More damage than Bonestorm
• Bonestorm
  • Very reliable, best to use as often as possible
  • More triggers for Shadowblight key passive when paired with Ultimate Shadow Aspect
  • Much more defensive option compared to AotD (natural 15% DR and Shielding Storm Aspect can give barrier generation)

Key Passive

• Kalan's Edict gives a good chunk of Attack Speed, but is only equivalent to 1-2 gear slots worth after masterworking
• Shadowblight does amazing damage paired with Blighted Aspect, but you need enough shadow damage sources to keep it rolling

Support Skills
We have 2 skill slots left after Skeleton, Golem, Generator, and Ultimate. Maybe 3 if we decide to run without a generator.

• Blight (or Bone Prison+Plunging Darkness Aspect) This is almost an auto-include. It gives extra minion damage, plus is an excellent source of shadow damage ticks for Shadowblight.
• Decrepify is a pure survivability option. Very good at reducing incoming damage and is especially useful for pit pushing.
• Corpse Tendrils groups up mobs and can apply vulnerable or generate blood orbs, but this has a cooldown and will consume cooldown acceleration effects making your ultimate take longer to come up.
• (Blighted) Corpse Explosion is purely for more Shadowblight triggers

Book of the Dead

• Warriors
  • Both Reaper options are good. Taunting defenders are great for thorns builds. Skirmishers are bad.
• Mages
  • Shadowblight is such a crucial part of the build that going anything other than one of the two shadow variants seems like the wrong choice. Upgrade 1 is great for Golem focused builds, Upgrade 2 is (slightly) better for mage focused builds. Cold Mages with Upgrade 2 is viable if not running Shadowblight
• Golem (needs more verification on different golem attack speeds)
  • Bone Golem attacks quickly and does surprisingly good damage on top of taunting. Upgrade 2 seems to be the better option but an argument could be made for Upgrade 1 for builds lacking corpse generation and for fueling the Corpse-Eater legendary paragon node
  • Blood Golem Upgrade 1 is a massive amount of DR, with how rare it is now might be worth it in high pit levels. Upgrade 2 is for silly numbers and stacking pure golem damage to the detriment of minions. He attacks slower than the Bone Golem so the difference is not as large as it may appear.
  • Iron Golem Upgrade 1 may provide more damage than the Bone Golem, but loses the Vulnerability or Corpse generation utility.

2h vs 1h
Minions used to just take the weapon damage, so going big 2H scythe was the way to go. Now they also base their attack speed on the weapon speed so the DPS is equalized across all weapon types (verification needed)

• 2H (Scythe) is great for double dipping damage from the most valuable Aspect (usually Blighted)
• 1H (Wand) allows for faster minion attacks, which means more triggers for things like Hulking Aspect and Iron Golem Upgrade 1 which trigger base off of attacks NOT lucky hit. Allows for an additional aspect. Also necro offhands come with an implicit Cooldown reduction which is nice to have.

    • Blighted - Shadowblight builds only, good option for the neck or 2H slot for the bonus 50%
    • Frenzied Dead - Massive attack speed boost that does NOT compete with the attack speed cap from gear (verification needed)
    • Reanimation - Huge damage boost, good option for the neck or 2H slot for the bonus 50%
    • Ultimate Shadow - Bonestorm builds only
    • Unyielding Commander's - Army of the Dead builds only
    • Needleflare - Thorns builds only
  • Situational:
    • Plunging Darkness - Bone Prison tech choice only
    • Conceited - Bonestorm builds only, also requires Shielding Storm aspect
    • Inner Calm - An OK choice but nothing amazing, better with Decompose basic skill since you're standing still to channel anyway
• Defensive
  • Required:
    • Hardened Bones - DR is so rare, each point is precious
    • Embalmer - Blood Orb builds only
  • Situational:
    • Shielding Storm - Bonestorm builds only
    • Might - Decent pick if you have nothing better
• Utility
  • Required:
    • Blood Getter's - This is double dips back to your minions!
    • Hulking Aspect - Decent way to get corpses and get your Golem skill off cooldown
    • Occult Dominion - More minions! Put this on the neck if you don't put blighted or reanimation there.
  • Situational:
    • Aphotic - An OK source of Shadow damage for Shadowblight if lacking otherwise
• Mobility/Resource
  • Required:
    • Fastblood - Blood Orb builds only
  • Situational:

Uniques?

• Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul can be a nice quality of life for farming. It also makes it so you can "cast" corpse tendrils without ever putting it on cooldown, meaning it won't eat your cooldown acceleration effects.
• Blood Moon Breeches lets you get some juicy curse effects without taking up a spot on the skill bar, massive extra source of DR as well.
• Razorplate mandatory for thorns builds.

Conclusions

With all that said, where does that leave us with regards to a general minionmancer?

• Kalan's Edict seems underpowered compared to Shadowblight. Maybe early game before you have attack speed rolls on gear, but after that Shadowblight seems like a clear winner. That also means we should probably avoid variations with cold or bone mages.
• Reapers seem like the winner of the melee skeleton options. Upgrade 1 seems especially hard to pass up. Corpse generation can come from elsewhere.
• Golems feel very well balanced to me. Any selection seems reasonable, no golem provides an irreplaceable effect or stands head and shoulders above the others.
• There are an unusually large number of Utility aspects which we want. This makes me lean away from using Blood Orbs as a method for reducing cooldown as it's really hard to fit in the two required aspects.
• 2H builds feel better when paired with AotD style of gameplay as they're both focused on spikes of damage. This is might just be a me thing.

I’m someone who has had a very, very rough life. I came from a very abusive family. One way I was abused is my mother twisted Catholicism to blame me for the abuse to torture me psychologically. This led me to become an atheist at 14. I went no contact with my family last year after my mother made me homeless for being transgender and not Catholic.
I’m 21 now. I have been an atheist until yesterday. I struggled horrifically with drugs and alcohol. However, I believe in God now as I realized I did not get sober on my own. I’ve been having so many personal revelations and my life has been glowing up ever since I decided to follow the path of whatever is out there and became sober. It’s because there’s been a god there the entire time. I never thought I would become sober (let alone at 21). Me living the 12 steps of AA and Al-anon has allowed me to heal from my generational trauma in my family and forgive my family. It was after I forgave my family that God reveled himself to me.
I’m very smart. My IQ is 130, my emotional intelligence score is 95 out of 100, and I go to a division I research college. I’ve been through some of the worst crimes against humanity. But, I sprang up, survived, and I have found a way to become a clinical psychologist. I believe it is the will of God for me to help the world in this way. I believe I am a chosen person of God as I’m, naturally in so many situations, helping someone (whatever that looks like) all day every day recently.
However, I’m not sure if Jesus and the Holy Spirit exist. My mother lied to me about so much about them. However, I told a woman who works in the dorm I live in that I believe in God now. With no other context, she said she would get me a Bible and to read Psalms: 27 in the mean time.
The entire psalm explains my life right now. And it fills me with so much power. I quickly emailed an Episcopal church in my area and asked to join their choir without a second thought. I went to an Episcopalian church a few times when I joined AA two years ago, but I wasn’t ready to explore this at that time. I chose that church as it has most of the Catholic traditions I like and they were extremely accepting of the fact I’m a transgender male. I’m going to one of their church services on Sunday morning and calling a devout Christian friend to talk through Psalms: 27 as she’s done a lot of Bible study. Finally, as another sign, this guy at my AA club told me he is an atheist and handed me a chip “As a joke.” It was a metal chip with the Ten Commandments printed on it.
I’m going on a spiritual journey of a life time. I never thought I’d get to this point, but I need to truly explore this more. Whatever the truth is, God will guide me there if I’m ready for it. And, I’m finally ready.

I’m currently 34 (F) with a 35 (M) partner, recently married very quickly. We both thought we married quickly because we were confident in ourselves. Fast forward 2 years and marriage has brought a nice stability, but also questions of change (both personally and for the relationship).

Reasoning and proof to back up this claim, as I'm sure everyone with an IQ 100 or greater is by now well aware Donald Trump & co have THE cult of personality among resentment of poorly to not well educated voters of all stripes, but particularly a majority white voters in the US.
However, I would at this point very much argue that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris also have one to a lesser extent, it turns out...and here's how.
President Biden and VP Harris had about 40% of white voter support in the 2020 election- they still have about that much now 4 years later in 2024 believe it or not, but after a disastrous by any objective metric 4 year term, and have not lost or gained any support in this time with said bloc-- it is overwhelmingly concentrated among well educated voters in the Caucasian bloc, especially women, as trivia.

Overall point/conclusion: Joe and Kamala haven't moved with being favored by 40% of white voters and it's chiefly coming from them having >50% approval among well educated white women with postgraduate or higher degrees, despite falling consistently with their own core base in margins in Black, Hispanic, Asian, and young white voters consistently like with the country from 2020 to 2024. This all essentially indicates a cult of personality is concentrated to me chiefly around the former demographic, because Biden's standing has deteriorated among everyone but this bloc by this point, and for several reasons imo (I'll elaborate on that in another reply to those curious).

Me and my brother are in our 40s. We are both smart men. But we feel like we were failed and I feel dumb.
We were sitting talking about how aware we are almost in mid-life about finances, career, and education. How our influential friends, family and teachers of the past shaped us. We both agreed and complained a bit about how one family who is prestigious they teach their kids about importance of finances, college and being someone who has an amazing career. Sends there kid off to college and so on.
Then there is us. Spent too much time on the wrong things growing up and bunch of unnecessary stuff between friends who are no longer around. Goofing off. How our parents didn't prepare us about saving money, debts or how choosing the right career was important. Our parents had this mentality of "they will figure it out" with no guidance. I'm a genx a true latch key adult. Same as my brother.
I pointed out how old our parents educational understanding are, they learned education from educators, in a world that had the knowledge which was already several decades old. So our parents were limited as well. Which was passed on to them. Which in turn, They passed that several years to my generation. The point is you see how outdated that education is!? It's failure.
So with all of this now awareness of the way the money, debts, and prestigious education works. What I know now. I should of known a long time ago!
I feel dumb. Even with my college education I obtained late. I feel bad for my older brother he has it worse. My teachers, mentors parents were ignorant themselves. Why didn't anyone show us or care to. But no we will figure it out mentality works for everyone. I have no retirement. It's like f*** now what!?
Just thinking about the fault or big screw of it all. Makes me feel dumb ass hell!

○Some said they want to explore more, meet new persons. ○Some talks with me for few days then tell me they wanna just be frieds or they are interested in someone else(after talking for days with me. ○Some are not ready for relationship(i can wait but they deny) ○Some are already committed.( its genuine, no offense)
So with this , 20+ girls i asked till today(in 1 year) and (one at a time, yeah I'm loyal to one I'm about to talk) noone has ever said yes to date or to hangout.
Sometimes Its not that i directly ask date, i also bring a point that we can start with friendship but i clear intention regarding dating. Then if she only want to be friends and friendzoned me, then I'm not that guy. And i simply walk out. No scope for that.

2019-2021: We already know the sector has tanked since 2021 and Canada's announcement into the industry. As some like INCR might have lost momentum from terrorist attacks in Isreal, others like SNDL had a "meme" approach into the U.S Cannabis Debt (SunSteam I believe its called). The important thing is companies overproduced, lost their competitive advantages, and had horrible timing. Whatever the various reasons are, almost the entire sector has taken a hit. Now when you bring up investing to the company, everyone will say "its to risky and has no moat" and yes this is true...or is it?
2023-2024: As vaporizers have had a dominating approach into the market, cannabis "carts" are exposing the younger generations to an easier, "odorless", and convenient way to expose themselves to THC. Think as them as a gateway into the industry, and just like a Juul it exposes new audiences into the market and could create long term relationships. Not only has cannabis found new ways to be innovative, but the industry has seen an unreal amount of new consumers the past decade. And this will only keep growing as we keep removing world wide restrictions overtime like Germany.
Past 6 Months: A new wave of young investors are ready to begin their journeys, now that trading is easier then ever. More then likely they're going to consider cheap stocks as they get high *cough cannabis*. Now im being bias, but coming from this generation shit feels high and im broke. Why would I invest $10 into META right now compared to SNDL? Theirs no doubt the sector has been seeing some of its most profit in years, And as the FDA rescheduling comes into play more then likely by this summer, its only a matter of time until the sector moons.
The Future: Im not a physic but I do have some judgements and opinions about the future of the cannabis sector. Firstly, long or short term many etfs like MSOS or YOLO look incredibly great right now. It'd be safer to play ETF's in the sector for long term investments. This is because of the incredibly small amount of tradable stocks in the sector. Few if any cannabis stocks are American companies, with the majority being Canadian or in the EU. With the amount of competition in the sector, there is a possibility we could see more American cannabis stocks listed on the NASDAQ exchange. Competition is already a killing factor within the industry, a flood of American ipo's could cause more viability in the market, and potential damage or benefit certain stocks.
Final Thoughts: With all this said, I completely understand the fear and hesitance people get when considering investing into the sector. There are many many risky factors, past issues, and future threats. But do NOT let that discourage you from investing just $5 long term. The sector is comparably undervalued compared to how overvalued CGC and Aurora was in 2021. For short term people are anticipating for the FDA reschedule, this would seriously open many doors and more profitable opportunities for the sector. Now the competition needs to be controlled for federal distribution and other meanings. The sector will only gain more popularity overtime=more profit.

Hope I did this right!

I’m a huge fan of Frozen and have been for years. Recently while watching the crown it occurred to me that Elsa and Queen Elizabeth are similar. In one episode, QE injects medicine in her face so she can smile more.
Obviously we don’t know what time period Elsa is in so depending on their level of advancement and media availability / exposure people might not be as tuned in to the monarchy. Regardless, the theme of image as everything is strikingly similar between modern monarchy and Frozen.
This might sound silly but I’ll point to the most obvious: Elsa’s “conceal don’t feel” mantra. Conceal is the key word. Elsa’s powers threaten her family’s power and status. As the crown princess it is especially a concern.
There’s no way Buckingham Palace could board up their doors for years nowadays, but I read Frozen is set in 1843. At this time many countries still had monarchies and things were only just starting to change on a global scale.
Elsa’s later arch, where she decides to “let it go” and embrace her powers is interesting in this light. Obviously, Elsa was embraced by her people immediately but it’s a Disney movie. I’m glad they added some more realistic / political world building in Frozen 2. While I get it’s just a Disney princess movie, the first one has so many moving parts. I’m not a huge fan of where they took it and I hope they can make everything make more sense in Frozen 3 since they’re insistent on making it a franchise.
I think ultimately Elsa’s story of being forced to suppress a huge part of who she is so that her family can maintain political power is an extremely human depiction of what it takes to have political power like that which is generations of child abuse. Look at Henry the 8th and Queen Elizabeth I for another great example. I hope we get some of this in the franchise at some point, Elsa realizing that her parents could have been better to her if they prioritized actually parenting their kids instead of using their kids for dynasty building…

But during testing it was discovered that watching the Mugen fight with or without enhancements is incredibly entertaining resulting and a strong source of combat study. This discovery redirected their experiments being used for sports instead of warfare even preventing what would’ve been an interplanetary war by turning it into a competitive sport, exploding the planet in popularity. During this explosion there was the discovery of a single fight between two Mugen that have went on for centuries before the first immigration and has been fiercely protected from interruptions since its discovery.

Planet/Species Fact: Despite the Doungwun seemingly biologically engineered to beat Cunwin on one to one combat, countering their various techniques. They rather take less ‘honorable’ tactics whenever possible. In populated areas they’d quickly overwhelm their prey with high numbers and quickly attack before the Chunwin gets a chance to swing. If there are aren’t any others nearby it’ll try to ambush its prey from hard to reach angles in the air. Only when it’s alone and has caught the attention of its prey, will it attach itself and engage its prey in close range combat. Most Chunwin societies simply use traps, or other tools to protect themselves from these predators. But a predator that chooses to engage in a one on one duel is more respected and results in a more respected death (for either one). So some Chunwin warriors leave themselves open to solo Doungwun attacks as some form of test.

Planet/Species Fact: Giengar are omnivores. In cold seasons they eat large predators with their primarily skill of inducing hallucinations that tire out its target before having its body frozen over for it to consume with its teeth designed to crush frozen objects. They gain this power by consuming mushrooms from warmer, jungle biomes that contain spores which has a similar effect to targets that breathe them in (though less concentrated and ends with less fatalities). Giengars are immune to these spores so during the warmer seasons they migrate to the jungle to consume high amounts of these mushrooms to expel their spores in large concentrations during hunting season. Normal Ashe that occupy these jungles stay away from the dangerous arctic biomes the Giengars hunt in, so to them the Giengar are seen as harmless. Since even if the Giengars try to use the spores against them, the conditions aren’t lethal and the lack of the Ashe’s adrenaline won’t inhibit their ability to recognize their condition and react accordingly instead of wasting their energy fighting.

Planet/Species Fact: While Ovivine can talk and mimic sentient emotions its only purpose is to gain the trust of prey as a mere predatory mechanism, their brains aren’t capable of deeper introspective thought or sentience when alone. Sabter are worn of the Ovivine though largely they are seen as myth with how very few sightings they are and how little the Ovivine are actually active due to their slow metabolism. Ovivines cover their prey on the floor and slowly consume it whilst morphing its body to appear as a mere lump of ground covered in grass, which is another factor into how little they’re seen. Occasionally they encounter some Sabter who are very much aware of them, and their tricks so in those cases they simply push them off the cliff side. Though this method relies on the element of surprise since their physical strength is much weaker than the average Sayter.

So many Reffox head off to other cultures/planets to use their learned skills to be able to make an identity of themselves, whether it be an athlete a performer, a warrior, a hero, or in some cases a criminal or ruler. This feeling is felt through all Reffox and when two of them meet, they silently agree to not show their skills to each other to keep their identity. Planet/Species Fact: Body parts are the Rankensains main currency. While most body parts are gathered from hunted animals on their world. Rankenstains have developed interplanetary transportation to gather valuable alien body parts. Often by nefarious methods like warfare, grave robbing, or even homicide, making them a disdained and feared species across multiple planets. There are labs made to create clones of existing limbs to replace active hunting to remove the need for travel, but with how often exploration is used and how slow the cloning process is, Rankensains still commonly hunt aliens for their limbs as part of a darker slightly underground culture. To get around their negative reputation, Rankensains would remove their own brains and implant them into other bodies to disguise themselves.

However back then only a handful of masters would be able use it, and only at a very basic level. Until one Shotogun prince discovered that his treasured Ansatryu was able to tap into and unlock further levels of mastery. With this knowledge the prince learned from his Ansatryu and developed a closer bond with it, even teaching his pet higher levels of intelligence as he was taught further mastery of chi. Later he would teach others how to learn from their Ansatryu and his own Ansatryu will give intelligence to others of his species, leading to the point where Ansatryu are now partners living in the same world as the Shotogun in relative harmony.

Now they defend the remaining members of their kingdom to allow it to rebuild. However, rumor has it that a surviving enemy found the original Arthmo lab.

Other species that don’t have this projectile ability do have spotted patterns on them to warn predators, or even create similar marks on objects to protect territory by intimidation.To weaponize their own “spots” Dalmate tribes would farm different animals and use them in different methods that changes their spot markings to battle other tribes with their own spot slinging skills to prevent it from being simply absorbed into its targets body.

• Able to enhance another object allowing an Ally to gain a similar weapon and the same powers of an Usegin except the ability to enchant other objects.

Weaknesses

• Only able to utilize one weapon at a time
  • Applies to allies, they can only utilize their chosen object
• Takes a while to enchant another object for an ally after the first
• After an allies enchanted objects breaks they lose their gained abilities
  • Ally abilities also go away when the Omnitrix Transformation ends

Planet/Species Fact: Lunakessho is a magical planet where all the inhabitants would practice magic, protected by an order of Usegin knights. However dark forces used by villains and monsters would arise practicing this dark magic and almost threatened to corrupt the universe. The Usegin order managed to fight them off but with a threat on that kind of scale and some remaining presence of their enemies they decided to seal of the planet into another realm. However, now there is an occult group mages summoned the order on various points of different moons using a ritual that was meant to be used in case they’re needed. While the Usegin heroes did manage to get involved in their traditional hero work. They’ve learned too late that this ritual will eventually corrupt them once all the full rituals is complete, and they’re powerless to stop them. So they now go to various planets and recruit and train other magical warriors to stop them when the time comes.

TLDR- In terms of likelihood, my bet is personally a toss-up between Pan and Goku Junior. Gohan is wishful thinking in my opinion. If I had to choose a favorite, I'm currently in favor of Pan because, aside from having the latent potential, I consider her the most interesting and unique candidate.
Toriyama decided years ago that he wasn't the guy (no matter how many times he surpasses his father), and I gave up on Goten after the end of Dragonball Z. Aside from never caring for his character to begin with, I've seen no evidence that he will surpass or even aspire to reach the same levels as Goku or Gohan.
At this point, I simply write him off as "Goku's other kid" whose greatest accomplishments were: A) Unlocking Super Saiyan 1 off-panel (in the original manga) with virtually no struggle (Wow, how compelling; And no, I don't care about that creatively cheap 2nd generation hybrid or S-cells explanation). B) Being one half of an infrequently useful fusion. Goku Junior may very well have the potential, but I just have no attachment to him as a character because we didn't spend enough time with him for me to invest in his future.
He may have had a serviceable arc in the A Hero's Legacy film overcoming his fears & anxieties about fighting (basically a rehash of young, cowardly Gohan's development; Credit where it's due, he at least had to struggle a little more for SS 1 which we see play out onscreen). But GT's finale where he & Vegeta Jr. face off just didn't leave me with much of an impression of him. He doesn't come off unique in any way. In terms of which character has the latent potential and presents as an interesting character, the best candidate I see is Pan.
To that end, one thing I sincerely hope Super does for her character is making up for one of GT's biggest wasted opportunities: LET- PAN- GO- SS- ALREADY! I always found the fact that DB's first canonical female Super Saiyans were new characters from another universe ridiculous. There is ZERO justification that's going to satisfy the majority of fans' desire to see Gohan's daughteGoku's granddaughter achieve something she should've been allowed to long ago. Most DB lovers have never supported that "only one quarter Saiyan" crap.
In many fans' POV, the amount of Saiyan blood or cells shouldn't dictate a Saiyan's capabilities to begin with, at least not to such a restrictive degree that a quarter's worth isn't more than enough. Being of a different species entirely is a different situation. Even then, however, one of DB's most common criticisms over the decades was certain characters becoming irrelevant as the power creep grew until Saiyans, Namekians, and androids (among others like Frieza) were insurmountably stronger. Even in the Tournament of Power, it was painfully apparent which characters would probably make the most difference by the final battles.
This is one reason fans have suggested for years now that at least one of the human characters should be able to unlock Ultra Instinct or some other technique to let them compete more effectively again. But I digress. Obviously, everyone shouldn't be equal all the time. Specific characters outstripping others comes with the territory of Shonen. But it speaks volumes when Pan has become such a fan favorite since GT that her English voice actor Elise Baughman commented that she was similarly surprised the character never unlocked SS.
If you don't want that to become a common criticism of Saiyan characters, then don't make the same blunder with Super's Pan. It's an unnecessary limitation that would deprive the fandom of seeing one of the most important & beloved members in the Z Fighters' next generation sport that iconic golden haiaura + teal eyes. The "Toriyama couldn't figure out how to draw female Super Saiyans" excuse doesn't fly anymore either. Numerous talented artists created decades of fan art that could've been used for reference. Besides which, Toriyama wasn't the only artist in the history of the franchise to design characters.
DB Super, Heroes, and Xenoverse (among other projects) introduced female Super Saiyans that looked just like a lot of that fan art. It would take no effort to translate that look to the canonical version of Pan. At this point, Super Saiyan is more than a transformation, motif, or even an in-universe rite of passage for Saiyan warriors. It's an integral part of the series' image and appeal, a globally recognizable visual that is inseparable from Dragonball's pop cultural identity. Like it or not, however much more powerful characters become, there will ALWAYS be a demand for Super Saiyan to remain relevant to some extent. And it SHOULD be.
If Toyotaro and the IP owners are smart, they'll remember that. Whatever Toriyama's intentions or preferences were, to keep this form out of Pan's reach simply because Dragonball's creator (R.I.P.) never canonically gave it to her would be a mistake. Respecting his wishes is one thing, and his vision for the world should be respected as a guiding force in shaping DB's future. I would never advocate for his will to be disregarded altogether.
What his will should NOT do is shackle DB from new creative possibilities if/when (again) countless fans want a possibility to be explored and would reward you for it with their money. There's a balancing act between business & artistic integrity in every marketable story. But ultimately, I see no way in which letting this particular long coveted desire finally be canonized would do anything but BENEFIT Dragonball going forward.
