City builder games online free

I'm mostly looking for mods inspired by classic fallout (fallout 1 and 2), but in general feel free to recommend me anything you think will make the game somewhat more difficult, a fresh and different experience, or just stuff you happen to like
I plan on doing a melee based build so mods that make gunplay more immersive aren't what I'm looking for, but are still appreciated

Sorry in advance if this has already been asked here. I did little amounts of googling and didn't find a discussion on this topic. But I'm sure this is by no means an original idea.
I'm not talking a sims game in a vault or vault manager. I had this idea back in 2018 with a friend of mine and upon replaying Fallout 4 after watching the TV show, I was reminded of my idea.
Vault-Tec possibly having a vault where the experiment was "what if humanity continued like normal? relatively speaking"
It would be like The Truman Show if you have seen that movie, a simulated world, but unlike the Truman Show, nobody knows its a simulation anymore, they've all died out by now. This would allow the setting to explore the aesthetic and culture of the 60s with hippies "free love" and possibly the 70s with disco or even 80s with hairbands/metal/punk. Would fans like that or would that be taboo to stray too far away from the 50s?
If people get too far to the edges, automatrons and security bots attack them and take them to get their minds wiped and given a phobia. A phobia of water or flying or if they seem like too much trouble make them so agoraphobic they never leave their house again.
I guess the only real way to bring the wasteland vibe to this vault would be to either A. have raiders break into the vault and then all hell breaks loose, society collapses. or B. The simulation finally after 100s of years is degrading and falling apart and people finally uncover the truth, revolt, all hell breaks loose, and they kinda sorta start their own wasteland within the vault by themselves.
Maybe this idea would be more suited for an expansive DLC vs a full fledged game.
IDK, I just thought it could be a neat idea. Discuss in the comments if you want, I would like to have a conversation about it

My spouse and I bought a lot to build on. Our neighbors informed us that they and several others in the neighborhood have looked at our plans. I know where deeds get posted online, and I vaguely knew that plans become publicly available during the permitting process. However I can’t seem to find them online. Obviously I have my own from the builder, but I want to know what version others can see. (The neighbors are claiming the house is different than the plans they looked at said it would be.) Hi I have the Lenovo Ideapad 3 series ITL05 but it runs games like Fortnite and rocket league really slowly. The resolution is low and the ping is high. FPS rate is low as well. I tried tricks online like deleting temp flws but that only helped a little bit. Apparently my specs aren't optimal for Fortnite but there isn't much I can do about that. I can upgrade the RAM from 8GB to 16GB but I don't know anyone in my area who could do that and I was told I couldn't update the graphics card. My GPU is an intel i7 and I have the intel it's xe graphics card. I don't know much about computer

Hello! I graduated last spring, but I wanted to share some resources for current students that either: - helped profoundly in my classes while taking them - taught me a lot and I wish I had them during my class
I’ll also share some of my thoughts on learning for these subjects that pulls away from just reading textbooks.
Anyways, here’s the list…

1. “Code” by Charles Petzold. This is an incredible book that walks you through how a computer works from the very basics through solving problems with light switches to advanced computer architecture and software. I wasn’t a beginner when I read this, but it strongly reinforced my skills in the area.
   
2. “A Student’s Guide to Maxwell’s Equations” by Daniel Fleisch. This is a short book that carefully walks through electromagnetic fields by explaining core equations step by step with lots of examples. It also includes several helpful problems with answers online on his website. Helped me get an A in my fields class and only took like 2-3 days to finish.
   
3. “A Common-Sense Guide to Data Structures and Algorithms” by Jay Wengrow. It walks you through DSA in a simple way with easy problems (including coding) including solutions in the back of the book. Currently going through it and it’s a very enjoyable read.
   
4. Professor Leonard’s video series on differential equations. It’s completely free on YouTube and it teaches you differential equations from the ground up with easy to follow videos that include examples he gives you time to solve first and then walks through step by step. Again, it’s literally free!
   
5. Ben Eater’s build your own 6502 based computer series. This video series on YouTube shows you how to build an 8-bit computer from complete scratch using computer chips you connect on a breadboard. Teaches you circuits, digital logic, low level coding, and how computers work all in one. You can buy a cheap kit from him to do it yourself along to the videos. I put it on my resume since I led a club teaching others how to do it and I’m pretty sure it’s a big reason I got so many job offers.
   

So if you’ve noticed a pattern here, it’s that the resources are easy to read and are engaging with problems you can do (very critical) along with actual solutions to check your work or get unstuck. They’re all cheap (or free) and you can probably get all of these for free online. Personally, I found traditional textbooks hard to be consistent with and overpriced.

So I used to play a ton of mtg as a teenager, I played draft, casual homebrew, and a touch of modern and legacy, but my favourite format was always EDH, I played mostly casual with friends, but also played in some competitive games at my LGS but i never did super well, I stopped playing around 2016-2017 when I started going down a pretty bad path in life, but I’ve been getting myself cleaned up, and I’m applying to go to school for computer programming.
Since I’ve gotten cleaned up I don’t really do much but play videogames and work, I don’t talk to many people anymore, and had to cut off a lot of people because they were making it hard to get out of the scene I was in, so now im trying to find more ways to make friends as a young adult outside of bars and social media, and also find better habits and hobbies to help keep my nose clean, and commander seems like exactly the thing I’m looking for.
I remember the way I originally got into EDH was buying a mono black zombie themed pre con and making modifications to it untill it was basically completely different, unfortunately, most of my collection was lost, or sold, so I gotta start fresh, but idk if I should buy another precon and modify it from there or if I should just use online resources to try and build my own.
What would you guys recommend? And if I go for a pre con, which should I go for? I don’t mind dropping a bit of extra cash on an older one if there’s any really good ones that have cards that would just be useful or good to have in general. Or if I should build my own, how should I go about building it, I’ve seen people say to pick the 99 before the commander so you can decide your strategy first, but what strategies are possible? Should I decide what colours I want to play first? Should I play mono? Dual? Tri colour? 5 colour slivers? I know these are vague questions that are extremely personal but I’m interested in hearing your personal opinions on what would be best for someone coming back to the format after an 8 year gap

Running is an individual sport, but is much better when you have the support of a community. running provides that community in an online forum, but many running groups and clubs are scattered throughout the US. I plan to submit weekly reviews of different running clubs in different cities over the upcoming weeks - I currently have on the schedule Houston (multiple times), Los Angeles, Denver, Kansas City (multiple times), Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Atlanta (multiple times), Oklahoma City, Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando, and possibly Louisville. This was the first time in a while. I'd stayed in Denver, and believe it or not, I don't think I had ever gone on a run in this city. I was only here for a couple of nights, so I decided to check out one of the few Wednesday night run clubs that I could find. This was a run club that is sponsored by a running coaching group called mercuria running, and the perks are pretty great. You get a free dinner by attending the run Club.
I was staying in downtown, so I decided to make the 2 Mile Trek across town to the Highlands area. I was very impressed with the charm of the city and how pretty it is overall. The group meets at Highland Tap and Burger, and I arrived about 5 minutes early. The parking seemed a little tight, as street parking was all that was available.
When I walked up, roughly 20 people were already hanging out on the patio, and I quickly introduced myself to a few few of the runners. A little after 6:30 pm, the main coach and run Club leader gave a quick club overview and mentioned that there was a 3.1 mile route and a 6.2 mile route. I, along with the group I was talking to, decided to do the 3.1 mile route. The group took off, and immediately headed east towards Commons Park. The route is a loop course and consists of 1 and 1/2 mi running through residential areas and 1 and 1/2 mi running through Commons Park. Commons Park is a well-designed and lively Park west of downtown Denver that borders South Platte River. I ran with a local runner for the majority of the latter half of the run. Aside from the aesthetically pleasing Commons park, the end of the Run consists of a massive uphill climb that that is a leg destroyer.
After the run, runners lineup inside of a back room to get the free meal. They had a quinoa, rice, salad, ham, and spaghetti. While it was delicious, I couldn't help but think what an odd combination it was. However, out of all the clubs I've been to, not a single one has provided a free meal, so I'm definitely not complaining. While waiting in line for the food, I introduced myself to a couple new Denver transplants and we got talking about running, the Run Club, Denver, and life in general. Throughout the rest rest of the night, I was able to meet several other regulars and newcomers. Newcomers. Majority of people were young professionals ranging from mid-20s to mid-thirties. Additionally, it seemed the majority of the people were also transplants to Denver, although there were a couple people I meant who were born and raised in the area.
While the perks and route were great, The people of the club were were friendly and open a conversation. It definitely made the experience. I don't know if this was the case to other clubs, but as a newcomer, I felt very welcome and included.

I’d like to take this moment and thank an old friend who was a pool hustler and professional amateur pool player for the advice.
My buddy wanted to be the best pool player before he died. So, he figured out who had the best “masse” and the best English” in the pool game. Then, he met with them as a student to learn their techniques. This took years, but he eventually became incredible, Captain of a team in the APA winning himself and his teammates a free trip to compete in nationals in Las Vegas. He died, but there’s a pool table on his headstone.
I took this knowledge, that obviously came from lots of hours of video gaming , and applied it to a friend’s business. There was an area of the city next door that was dedicated to “starving artists” and his websites and ads needed a makeover. We traveled to meet a man who was into old Egyptian art and he told us about the fabled “golden ratio”
Apparently, if you are doing a DIY operation and are making your own art… if you learn the golden ratio and apply it, you are leaps and bounds beyond a surprisingly large sum of your competition

Well, that's a weird ass title.
Have you ever found yourself scrolling on ig/dc/telegram, looking for someone to start a convo with, maybe some plans for a night out? I sure did. I often message people, but, well, nobody is free all of the time. It's understandable. Even though they went somewhere without you. Idc, maybe they have some other colleagues. What I've noticed, though, is that almost noone ever hits me up. But, well, I don't really care, it's normal, I don't reach out to them when I don't feel lonely too.
But sometimes I feel somewhat diffrent. I really want to chill with someone/some group. But they never feel the same. Never. They have no problem with me being here "when the stars allign", if I was in close proximity of them they would approach me, invite me. But shit jsut never starts with me in mind. Never. Whenever I've tried to organize something, it falls flat. Or comes through IF I manage to hype someone more respected than me for it first.
And as I watch 25 dc vc's/groupchats lving their best life, im just standing there. Invited, but never considered. Never. It is fucking driving me nuts.
What I've started to do is to purpesfully ignore them. I mute the chats, I don't engage in the discussion unless I'm pinged, I avoid getting to involved in organizing anything. I can pull of a few days of this. But then it comes. I stumble upon someone. "sup bro, are you coming too" "coming where" "X, Y and me are going to watch Dune II, you free this sunday" "yeah im down"
And then... I geniuenly have a great time. And then its back to not existing. I KEEP ON FUCKING LOOSING. I AM BENEATH THEM. I care and they not. They won. Why? When people that I don't care about knowing hit me up too much our out of the natural flow of our relations, I distance myself. EVERYONE is doing the same to me. I'VE LOST THE GAME OF SOCIETY (that sounds so fucking corny but thats how i feel)
They don't think about not having anyone to talk to. They are either approached all the time or approach people that geniuenly like them back. The more someone is liked, the more magnetic their personality is, the more I fucking hate them. I just can't be caught being another idiot salivating on a thought of someone giving them any attention. But then they talk to me and it feels so good, I really, really enjoy others presence. Like if you kept stumbling upon your dealer when you try to quit. I hate that I enjoy talking to others. I feel like some closeted homosexual dude that tries to live a good'ole trad life, but the longer he lies to himself and his nature, the more desperate and uncontrolled he becomes. At some point I always snap and have a phase of seeking attention like the lowest fucker on the social ladder which I truly am.
I am stuck with two options: 1) focusing all of my energy on attracting as many people as possible to finally become the one getting approached more than he approaches everyone, but dealing with inherently not respecting the idea of people salivating over my attention. Basically a stupid cycle of becoming what I hate and hating what I was before or 2) learning to accept my disability and unhook myself from social interactions. So its either "getting pinged all the time" or "not needing to be pinged ever"
Both are ridiculous, but rewiring my biological needs for companionship at least sound achievable. Did any of you have such issues? How did yall solve them? Or, just maybe any of you did succed in becoming more magnetic? (I doubt it, it's still reddit, though the less stinking part of it)

I haven't played Fo4 for about 6 years, I thought of installing all mods I planned (I'll probably have to delay the update) and resuming the game. So I have 2 questions:
1) Is there any mod that turns Weatherby Savings & Loan into a working settlement? I used Conquest for this, but the mod was abandoned in 2016.
2) Is there any mod similar to Conquest, that I could use to setup a workshop, build a bridge through a river or some ramps/stairs/ladders to get to a rooftop, then just deactivate and scrap the workshop? I remember there was an inaccessible safehouse somewhere around Diamond City and I had to build stairs to get there.

Description of Original Problem: Bad coil whine on my GPU, bought this in September and tried to ignore but it becomes loud enough to hear through headphones when the game is quiet. I have included a video which you can hear the coil whine whilst playing Starfield. Everytime I exit the pause menu it starts and stops as soon as I enter again. I'm unsure of any way to fix this other than trying to RMA the card as it is still under warranty, not sure if this problem is being exacerbated by the fact that my GPU has 2 cables going into it and one is daisy chained to go as the third (this can be seen in the video) unfortunately though that is all the cables that I received with my PSU. Note that fans are at max rpm in video.
Troubleshooting: I haven't been able to troubleshoot as the only advice I could find online was to undervolt and I am not quite sure on how to do this yet. I am looking for any advice :)

I know there's a limit of 100 files, but I haven't been able to find anyone talking about whether the game plays nicely with longer tracks - like over an hour? I recently came back to the game on PC with a very silly modlist and the thought occurred to me to see if I could play through the entirety of, say, Shrek playing on my cassette speakers in free roam just blitzing through outposts, but I don't know if that's even technically feasible.
Has anyone played around with this sort of thing? Ofc I realize Kaz and Ocelot will be chiming in constantly but it's a novelty.

My prescription just came today & I’m really hoping it works but I’m also not because this cream is $130 for 80 grams. Are there any cheaper options available? Like a different compounding pharmacy that ships to other city or states? Or maybe an online compounding pharmacy? Ugh, it hurts so much that my insurance doesn’t cover it.
