Ok y'all lol this is what I ended up with after playing around with it last night. I like this font more, it's like tattoo ink and... idunno, it just vibes with me but still keeps kind of a playful fantasy style. I did get rid of the pink and focused more on purple and blue so it has a touch of romance but isn't screaming it.
I went with the font higher up so the picture of the forest was more prominent and reduced the curve of the lettering like one user suggested. I think this is a bit more whimsical with the coloring. Better?!
Also to explain the forest, there's a prominent forest scene in the book. I just don't have the master skills to Photoshop in a castle into the background (tried and massively failed that last night, looked like a butchered picture and threw that idea out fast.)

And oh well, just like hot sultry summers; shows are also burning hot! They are back again my friends- a hint is given above for those who will watch them stuck in one place where there is always unbearable heat. So get a mango shake, grab some popcorn then be ready to keep an eye on some super cool TV shows releasing in May.
1. Blood Of Zeus Season 2 09 May Netflix
An action-adventure anime series that started in 2020 and became very popular. The show’s plot is simple: it’s about an ancient Greek guy called Heron who goes on a journey and his true lineage is discovered by him- he happens to be Zeus’ son who possesses the power to save humanity from demonic army trying to wipe out this peaceful human world and its inhabitants. It had been rated 7.5 IMDb, but now- much to the delight of its fans- has returned with its second installment!!!
2. Bridgerton Season 3 16 May Netflix
A historical romance drama set in England during its Regency era; the show focuses on eight siblings belonging to the Bridgerton family who intend on finding their soul mates. In this season, Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton take center stage as their love story unfolds. Penelope finally abandons her love for Colin after deciding she would rather marry someone else that will allow her enough freedom to live her double life without any interference from her family anymore: Colin however has come back home hence there is still so much spice left simmering in this incomplete love story!

3. The Chi Season 6 Part 2 19 May Amazon Prime Video, Paramount Plus
A thought-provoking teenage drama series developed by Emmy award-winning producer and screenwriter- Lena Waithe. This series is about a set of strangers who are all residents of the same place until some freak coincidences bring them all together. The storylines became larger than they could have been imagined at first. It has been one of the most watched Showtime series and scored 7.6 on IMDb- after much anticipation, it came back for its sixth season with more ambitious goals these characters want to reach.
4. Dark Matter 8 May Apple+ TV
Apple+ TV is launching yet another science fiction thriller show that involves an individual kidnapped into one of uncountable other parallel universes where he lives in this reality. Among various lives he could have lived, this was just sheer misfortune from his side. Now he is searching for answers, but above all else, how to save his family from his evil twin who wants nothing but destroy him entirely; it feels like a mind blowing thriller!
5. Doctor Who Season 14 11 May Disney+
Doctor Who, a much-anticipated sci-fi Disney+ series that has captured the hearts of many people, is back with its 14th season and fans cannot hold themselves together any longer! This is the fifth British version of the franchise that was produced and written by Russel T Davies. Ncuti Gatwa is set to be the new incarnation of ‘The Doctor’; an alien who comes to London via time travel!
6. Star Wars: Tales of the Empire 06 May Disney+
A collection animated mini series set in Star Wars universe and you should really get excited about it – all fans gather! It follows around one young vengeful woman, a Jedi attempting to survive different dangerous Galactic empires across ages searching for destiny. The interest on this Disney animation combined with action thriller storylines makes it hard to ignore.
7. Outer Ranger Season 2 16 May Amazon Prime Video
A mystery thriller drama series released in 2022- a film about a rancher trying to save his land and family, but having to fight through hell. However, he gets involved into an unsolvable mystery right there in Wyoming. This adventurous show was loved by everyone. Therefore the rancher returns for yet another adventure maybe this time stakes could be too high!
8. The Tattooist of Auschwitz 02 May Peacock
This bleak war drama series tells about Lale Sokolov’s real life experience as a Jew prisoner during World War I being ordered to tattoo ID numbers on each inmate in Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. The show offers revelations that were never told before through eyes of someone who witnessed so many cruelty at first hand.
9. Bodkin 09 May Netflix
A crime drama thriller about three podcasters who stumble upon news about three strangers who have gone missing mysteriously in a deserted Irish town they feel compelled jointly solve it-the deeper they delve into it and uncover the hidden parts of the case-the more terrifying and awful it gets. We are going to witness a number of cliffhangers, unexpected twists and comic reliefs as in this Netflix series. What else is needed for perfect weekend watch?
10. Interview with the Vampire Season 2 12 May AMC+
This mindblowing horror fantasy drama series will just not let you stop watching until the very last episode! The show debuted in 2022 and holds a rating of 7.2 on IMDb. Well after such a long time we have another season here- The screenplay is based on Anne Rice’s novel that was a hit back in 1972 titled “Interview with the Vampire.” These are all about a vampire known as Louie De Pointe who discloses many aspects of his life including romance, bloodlust and demerits of being immortal to one journalist by name Daniel Molloy.
So, those were some TV Shows Releasing In May. Have you made any choices yet?

It's funny, I used to be deadset on getting tatted when I was younger. I wanted to be total patchwork, everything covered. I loved Mei Pang's look! (still do tbh). But as I grow up I find myself getting more turned off by tattoos. I once had a dream I had a huge back piece, it wasn't badly done, but I woke up and was like hell no I'll never get a tattoo. I think the idea of the permanence irks me, and I think I was so drawn to Mei's tattoos because they're symmetrical. One alone, if not minimal, looks out of place to me
I am happy my mind's changed, I look back to my old tattoo ideas and good lord. Granted I thought of them when I was like 14 but still, if I got some of this stuff tatted on me I swear that patch of skin would be cut off by now lol
Some examples are (keep in mind I was ~14): holly (??), "outlaw" (lol okay cowboy..), playing cards (or just an ace), a reticle (??? like why), John 15:13 (I have zero idea why I thought this verse was applicable to myself? not cringe just weird), the american idiot logo (I wanted this SO BAD), JOS logo (the middle row on the right) and ascii art. Keep in mind those are the relatively less embarrassing examples. I was such an edgelord such a weirdo ... I should delete that entire note lol. But that was actually funny to look back on. Just how and why
That being said, I am sort of thinking of getting a small quote tatted on my back, ~below a shoulder blade. Only a few words and not in a corny font. Unsure what quote tho, I love Nayyirah Waheed's poetry, I may do something from her idk. I want something easily hidden, I would also be open to getting one on the nape of my neck. Back when I was with this guy I dreamt of getting a tattoo of his initial with a heart around it on like the spot behind the ear lol, I wouldn't be opposed to something there.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’ve never gotten a tattoo. I’ve always wanted to, but then I married my husband who said he’d divorce me if I got one. Well guess what? I’m divorcing him, so tattoo it is! I know what I want and where I want it, but I have a question about font. I want it to be in a pretty, handwritten looking font. Almost like calligraphy. I’ve attached a picture with the style of writing I’m kind of going for. Can I bring an example like that and tell them to go for it? Or do I need something for them to copy exactly?

Firstly, I will vent about some, by that I mean a couple of mostly unrelated things here, and in most of the cases I really doubt it's the band's fault at all, not in the slightest bit.
Firstly, we in Germany have this mailorder called Impericon, originally a hardcore/metalcore fanzine that had connections to venues, so they were basically promoting and hosting idiot dancing 'indoors festivals' (aka. couple hot scene bands, one day, one sticky venue, ~80 bucks for the name) which fused with that 'Hopeless Records EU' thing that once existed. And yeah, if anyone here remembers that server fuckup that caused many hundred customers to get their Suburbia10 preorder vinyl by The Wonder Years more than 6 months later - I was one of those lucky fews, and Impericon is the company that's to blame for all this 'selling more copies than actually exist for a cash-grab' thing. And I ordered my CD way back when the release was up on par in april with the digitals.
Like, it wasn't even a vinyl which may take longer. As good as this album might be, it shoulda been out and in my PO Box friday last week. But they couldn't even send me a T&T code until monday afternoon, which told me that the package will most likely arrive - by that I mean - dropped off at the delivery office - in the next 24-48h. Like, and they didn't even bother to answer my support e-mails to apologize.
On the other hand, I remember being disappointed when I bought Vacancy back in the day that the artwork is just cheap and mostly non-existent, because I flipped it open and the inside of the digicard is full-on nothing but white, but the booklet was having some pictures here and there that fit the record, plus the bonus 7" and shit.
But here, I didn't have full-on blankness on the insides but a nice-to-tattoo ornament logo that plays into the whole 'cult' thing, and a bunch of completely blurry, unrecognizable and complete screenshots from the 'Castaway' vizualizer from YT, and the booklet was reduced to a fold-out card 4x4, b/w only printed, which reads the lyrics in Arial font and also leaves out 75% of 'Good Advice's' lyrics completely for need of unneccessary biiiiig white spots between the lines printed, and also for this huuuuge amount of artwork, the Art Director, the 'Illustrator' that basically downloaded a print-out mandala and placed the bayside bird in the middle, and the "Photographer" - that took the front cover photo, all get a separate line in that booklet.
Like, look at the Wonder Years what they're getting, like every year a big special 4-Vinyl Box that comes with a 12x12" full-color hardcover book, and they have similar sales and plays/clicks.
Is it just me or does this feel like HLR being "Aw yeah those guys, before we signed them they were with Brummel so they'll take what we want them to as long as they get an acceptable share of their royalties"?

Hello, I'm Australian with greek heritage, mother born in Greece. I'm visiting Greece in September and trying to come up with ideas for a greek inspired tattoo. I have one idea but it would be nice to see others. I'd love to have it done there. Has anyone done similar? Bonus points for pictures.

What we are looking for is ideas for loving, cute, meaningful things for the two of us to do as we exchange promises. Ideas such as sand ceremony, or ribbon ceremony. We will be taking a trip to Greece and I would love to have a big romantic surprise planned around what ever idea we choose. Any ideas will be helpful, but if you know any Greek traditions or things you find amazing in your culture I'd love to hear them! Also I'd you have ideas for people who don't like rings and can't wear them (metal allergies and in Healthcare so not under gloves) I'd love to hear those too. (No silicone rings or ring tattoos please)

I know everyone is talking about the album and cover art (which I am excited about and also prefer the first one) but I wanted to share my tattoo. The font is based off Creek Water font and “EVOL”, to me, is from Em’s space bound. Let me know what you think and share your yela tattoos, I’d love to seeeee!
