I am currently looking for a Thursday, Friday or Sunday game starting between 15-20 UTC (Fridays I am available from 19 UTC).
In general I have played TTRPGs for about 4 years, for PF specifically I have a played in one campaign so far, meaning that I understand how general mechanics work, but I do not have advanced knowledge about most classes. I have also used Roll20 (both as a GM and a player), Foundry and Tabletop Simulator.
I love the story building side of TTRPGs the most, along with proper player interaction and have been looking for some people that do as well. I do however enjoy some mechanics and creativity in combat as well, I am thriving for more balanced 50/50 games.
I love watching the story unfold and getting to see everyone in the group have their shining badass moments and growth. However, it would be nice for everyone to be interested in the story. Jokes are great, but I don't want them to be 90% of the sessions.
I am not interested in paid games, can't afford it at the moment.

I was walking home from school, not paying attention to anything around me. I didn’t see the car coming. One moment, I was crossing the street, and the next thing I knew, I was lying on the cold pavement, everything around me in chaos.
When I woke up in the hospital, I was in so much pain and totally confused. My head felt like it was going to explode, and I had no idea where I was or what had happened.
The doctors said I had a severe concussion and amnesia. They explained that I couldn’t remember anything from before the accident—no childhood memories, no friends, no family. My mind was completely blank, wiped clean by the trauma.
My parents were the first faces I saw when I woke up. They looked relieved but also terrified. My mom tried to be strong, but I could see the tears in her eyes. My dad, usually so tough, couldn’t hide how scared he was. They kept asking me questions, hoping something would spark a memory, but it was useless. I didn’t recognize them, didn’t remember anything about our life together. I didn’t even know my own name.
The doctors said my memory might come back with time, but there were no guarantees. In the meantime, I had to rely on what my family told me about my past. They showed me pictures, told me stories, but it all felt like it belonged to someone else.
The hardest part has been trying to reconnect with my family. My parents are doing their best to help me, but it’s clear they’re struggling too. I hauled my ass out to Iowa that night 4 hours away and went to pickup my mower first thing in the morning. I think they made a pricing error, I jumped on my computer on the way home, it booted up, chrome reopened all of the previously opened pages and the SCAG tab was open, went to look and the price at that dealer was up to $2,719.99- not sure if they messed up the pricing or what- but for a brand new mower- that’s one hell of a deal! |

I feel really angry and frustrated. Not because of them, pero dahil sa akin. Vegan 7 years here. Have always been slightly militant. I wouldn't really argue with people in general, but have had arguments with family members and boyfriends. I have always had an all or nothing mindset. Personally that will never change, I'm never going to consume animals products in any form.
I've always judged people harshly for consuming any kind of animal products. When friends or family eat meat in front of me it upsets me and I do view them negatively for it. I, 33M, am in a relationship with 23F. The issue that I have is that she barely messages me on Snapchat (or any other forms of messaging) much less call me at all. I get super excited when she either messages me or calls me. Now I know you are thinking that yeah, she might have a busy life and doesn’t need to be messaging or calling you all the time which is very true, but she rarely calls or messages me anymore. Makes one physically sick to think of how traumatized these women must have become of law-enforcers, of saying no (punching women if they resist arrest is very legal and encouraged and taugh to all cops as training), of touching strangers, of being drunk in public, of flirting with the wrong dude while drunk, of men in general, and even more sickening is the knowledge that they'd forever be brain-damaged and basically on a set path toward slow and painful death, and the most blood-boiling is the fact that these psychos never face any consequences.
Majority of cops are domestic abusers themselves, in fact, cops were the ones who resisted illegalizing domestic violence in the 80s the most when it was illegalized; majority of cops are psychopaths; there's literally no reason, none, zero, nil, whatsoever, to believe that cops serve the people, neither economical (they get their salaries regardless), nor judicial (cops effectively have impunity), nor moral (only psychos are attracted to job-openings for cops, the way things are).
Likewise, women who feel safe in public, in people's presence, assuming they're there to protect them, are wholly mistaken too; random street assaults on women are very legal, samaritans punished, and chivilry long dead.

Cars (2006): This is the first time I've ever seen the movie, so I didn't feel any nostalgia value, but I thought it was really fun overall. Refreshing and visually stunning!
The plot is quite fantastic so it definitely hits my emotions, and it gets better as the story develops. The animation quality is simply excellent and gorgeous, with all sorts of beautiful details everywhere you look. I also really enjoyed the car characters and their designs. Lightning trying to help The King finish the race made me cry. I also loved the Monsters, Inc. reference.
Honestly, a good movie overall! 7.5 out of 10.
Cars 2 (2011): I enjoyed the first film, it was something special. This one, however, feels like it fails in so many ways.
The animation quality and its details are nice and all, but the plot about the British spy is a complete mess and doesn't almost have any part of the story that I cared for. The weak scenario makes it even worse. This movie feels like it has only two original characters, but we got more screen time for Mater than for Lightning. It's not that I don't enjoy Mater, but it should be about them together because they shared a lot of fun moments together in the first film. They barely shared scenes together in this movie, which was a problem for me.
Honestly, I felt I just kept watching it minute by minute without being overly entertained. Not much of a fan of this one, and it's quickly becoming my least favorite Pixar film so far.
The funny thing is, I've watched all the episodes from Mater's Tall Tales, which take only between 2-7 minutes, and most of these episodes actually had more potential for being feature films than this one. 5.5 out of 10.
Cars 3 (2017): Despite all the hate it got, I had a great time watching it. I found it entertaining and a significant improvement over Cars 2.
The visuals are wonderful and smooth, honestly feeling almost realistic and giving me GTA vibes, and that's definitely a highlight for me. The plot is also pretty good, and the ending is satisfying too. It didn't evoke strong emotions, I admit, but I enjoyed it because of the great visuals, animation style, and well-crafted plot. That's a plus.
Overall, people probably expected it to be a masterpiece, given that it was released over a decade after the first film, but honestly, it's just a fun ride. And that's what matters in the end. 7 out of 10.

So I met a guy on a dating app last year he was visiting an area around me but with a conflicting schedule I was working and he was getting ready to leave, we didn’t meet. He lived in a different state than me and so we continued talking and planned to meet. Things went very wrong on my end and I was unable to make it meet him. We continued talking and work got in the way and meeting him was becoming less and less of a priority for me. He ghosted me (rightfully so!) in January. I was sad for awhile I really liked him, but I understood. With distance and life happening and the last we had talked we were both very busy with other things.

I am a member of a club. What we do is irrelevant to this story.
What is relevant is that one to four times a year we have a large get together, during which we usually partake in some fun activities.
We have been to amusement parks, played minigolf, had barbecues and similar.
During these events, many of us have expenses which we can get reimbursed by the club. To streamline the process, we decided long ago that everyone would send their invoices to the person in charge of reimbursements, who would then make a payout at the end of the next month.
For the past 2 years, a young girl (21) named Nina was in charge of this task and we never had a complaint. She wasn’t a club member, but did the job as a favour to her brother (who is a club member).

In comes Bert. Bert is a 55 year old veteran club member with a beer belly, a viking beard, arms as thick as my thighs, the personality of an Irish dock worker and the vocabulary of a Hungarian pimp.

„You listen to me, you little [EXPLETIVE]. You knew exactly how much [EXPLETIVE] time you had and you knew exactly what would [EXPLETIVE] happen afterwards. The upload process will stay up as long as [EXPLETIVE] announced and I will be [EXPLETIVE] if I let a single [EXPLETIVE] like you increase my workload. And if you have a problem with that then you can [EXPLETIVE] [EXPLETIVE] your [EXPLETIVE].“
Daniel fell silent and left. He is still a member…but he is now strangely enough capable to upload the invoices within the alotted time.

I am a member of a club. What we do is irrelevant to this story.
What is relevant is that one to four times a year we have a large get together, during which we usually partake in some fun activities.
We have been to amusement parks, played minigolf, had barbecues and similar.
During these events, many of us have expenses which we can get reimbursed by the club. To streamline the process, we decided long ago that everyone would send their invoices to the person in charge of reimbursements, who would then make a payout at the end of the next month.
For the past 2 years, a young girl (21) named Nina was in charge of this task and we never had a complaint. She wasn’t a club member, but did the job as a favour to her brother (who is a club member).

Im doing an online graduation degree from a very good college thus i have a lot of time to gain skills, was tryna learn python and also about ai , video editing and content creation. Im a absolute book nerd (non fiction, science, tech, self help and philosophy) {not like for getting grades but I love gaining knowledge} and devotee my 12-13hrs gaining knowledge.
My Ultimate goal is startup but i can't seem to get where to begin. I have ambition to do something in tech and ai space to solve problems but not sure what. Also to make a personal brand im thinking about starting content creation and share my learning in the only domain Im really confident in and thats philosophy. Also because I have a inner motive to change the society and help them in their lives. But im very very new to rest of the stuff. I'd be very grateful to learn from your experience, like your startup stories, how you started, what resources did you use, and anything that you think could have meaningful guidance (mayby tools, ai softwares, books, fields, etc.) I would also like to know about the tools, podcasts, blogs , newsletters, books, ai tools and yt channels you use that is helping you and might help me. There is too much junk out there with few rare gems, i'd really like to know about the useful stuff as exploring on yt and other platforms eats up lot of time!
Also my concern is also about soft skills like communication skills, manegement, etc. How can I learn all this considering im in a online degree with no real friends, no online friends either as i joined social media just a week back. (frns pls ;)). Im ready to do any work to learn all this.
SO PLEASE GUIDE me with your expertise.

Hey everybody, i wanted to share my thoughts and theories after finishing the Whole Cake Island arc. This is my first time watching OP and besides knowing how Luffy looks with Gear5 (its impossible not to see pics of Luffy Gear5 on IG or Twitter) i don’t know any spoilers.
First of all my thoughts:
For me, WCI is the best arc so far after timeskip. Besides the Pacing, i fucking loved Dressrosa because of Doflamingo but WCI is like 1% better imo. It was a bit chaotic for me because of the amount of new characters that got introduced, but i liked nearly every new introduced character.
Sanji and Brook were fucking cold and for me the MVP‘s this arc. I loved the scene were sanji was listening to puddings and his sisters conversation, standing in the rain and even his lighter didn‘t work. I felt him so hard and i was so fucking disappointed. I also fucking loved Katakuri because of his honorable acts. He stabbed himself because otherwise it wouldn‘t be a fair fight?? Give this guy a medal of honor ASAP!!!
I also love the fact, that more and more characters outside of the Straw hats say that they think Luffy will be the king of the pirates soon. It gives me goosebumps everytime.
Finally i can say i was afraid of this arc to not fulfill my expectations, because after Zou the only thing i wanted to see was Kaido vs Luffy, but holy shit i didn’t expect Big Mom and her children to be such a big threat! For me WCI was a solid 9/10.
Now my theories for the upcoming story:
Idk how to feel about Shanks, because we know that he has a special connection to Luffy and he even gave him the Straw hat, that Gold Roger gave to Shanks, but Shanks is a pirate too and i think his goal is also finding the One Piece. So i think the fact that the World calls Ruffy the „5. Emporor of the Sea“ now, so a potentional threat for Shanks, can’t be nice for Shanks. Luffy obviously wants to beat all Emporors except Shanks, but will Shanks give up the One Piece because of Luffy and just stay an Emporor? I don’t think so. For me there are 2 options:

- There are people who are like actually media illiterate and cannot pick up on themes and messaging the author intended for a story. This includes those who say that the director of Starship Troopers didn’t intend the film as a over-the-top satire of fascism, and people like my conservative dad who is a huge Star Trek fanboy but doesn’t see/ignores the left wing messaging. This is fairly straightforward, so there is less to say about it beyond needing to better educate and equip people to understand messaging in media. Being able to see what the author intended is important (and how the author’s intention can be different from your personal interpretation). A lot of the conservative former friends I grew up with would say “stop overthinking it, it’s just entertainment” when these ideas are pointed out.
- There are people who claim that someone is media illiterate for interpreting or enjoying a story through a lens they disagree with. This includes those who can clearly see what the author is saying, disagrees with them, but continues to engage with the story or enjoy the piece of media regardless. An example could be a liberal playing and enjoying a thoroughly communist video game like Disco Elysium despite knowing that DE is extremely critical of liberalism. Personally, I’ve been called out online for being a member of the US military while also being a fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, since someone who truly “got” Metal Gear would be more anti-military I guess. There are also those who proclaim that their personal interpretation of media is the only correct one and everyone who disagrees lacks media literacy, which is a stance I see more on the Far Right and Far Left.
