Hello everyone,
I have a simple question. Do yall listen the old songs of artist whose music Nowadays is more on the devil, witchcraft or sort and its leading more to the devil where the lyrics are meant to take you away from God. For example, the most obvious one(s) Kanye, lil uzi vert, Carti, Doja, and etc. Over the years, some of these artists have dressed, performed, wrote songs or used lyrics that or have done things that blatantly go against the teachings of the Bible.
Now let me be clear, not all secular music is bad and it some does not lead away from Christ. But some secular music does and it's important to distinguish which is which. Now back to my question Years ago, I used to listen to alot of Lil uzi because I never found it to be a major problem in the area of Christ. The songs I uses to listen to where never about Christ per say directly, they were more the on the pop culture of the time, so i never had a problem with him. But recently lil uzi has done some questionable things as dressing with devil horns, doing the devil horn signs, wearing satanic lyrics etc. So I obviously dropped his music completely! But over the past couple of weeks I been thinking about this dilemma. Is listening to his old old songs way before he became this abomination, bad? Like songs where he makes no referencing to christ or anything on that sort. And this can be applied to every artist or person or whatever. Kinda like avoid the bad at all cost and never lose focus on Christ, but at the same time begin careful because the Devil job is deception.
And Kanye is a good example too, his Jesus is King album is one of my favorite albums ever. But his song Carnival where he talks about him being the new Jesus is obviously a no no. I actively avoid that song at all cost, but I do listen to Jesus is king alot.
Still I want to get some different opinions on this and perspectives too. I don't really have anyone to talk about about this, most of my friends are atheist or just make fun of me when I have questions like this.

The Quran claims that Muhammad is illiterate:

Those who follow the Messenger, the illiterate (ummi) prophet... S. 7:157

Definition of 'Illiterate':-

a person who is unable to read or write.

Therefore, if we find sufficient evidence from the Quran and the ahadith which demonstrate that Muhammad was literate, it would necessitate a reevaluation of the Quranic assertion of his illiteracy.
The prevailing belief among many Muslims is that the historical figure of Muhammad was illiterate and therefore incapable of producing the Quran. However, it is important to note that both the Quran and the ahadith provide evidence that Muhammad possessed the ability to read and write!

Evidence from the Quran

The following verses commanded Muhammad to read:

Read! (Iqra) In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists) … Read! (Iqra) And your Lord is the Most Generous, Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)], S. 96:1, 3-4

The mention of the pen clearly indicates that Muhammad was being directed to read a written text, rather than merely recite spoken words.
In fact, the Quran says that Allah will make Muhammad read the Quran so that he won’t forget it:

We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget S. 87:6

Other places where Muhammad is commanded to read the Quran include:

When you read the Quran, you shall seek refuge in GOD from Satan the rejected. S. 16:98
When you read the Quran, we place between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible barrier. S. 17:45
A Quran that we have released slowly, in order for you to read it to the people over a long period, although we sent it down all at once. S. 17:106 And lo! It is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, Which the True Spirit hath brought down Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, In plain Arabic speech. And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it. S. 26:192-199
Your Lord knows that you meditate during two-thirds of the night, or half of it, or one-third of it, and so do some of those who believed with you. GOD has designed the night and the day, and He knows that you cannot always do this. He has pardoned you. Instead, you shall read what you can of the Quran. He knows that some of you may be ill, others may be traveling in pursuit of GOD's provisions, and others may be striving in the cause of GOD. You shall read what you can of it, and observe the contact prayers (Salat), give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and lend GOD a loan of righteousness. Whatever good you send ahead on behalf of your souls, you will find it at GOD far better and generously rewarded. And implore GOD for forgiveness. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. 73:20
and, when the Koran is read to them, do not adore? S. 84:21

The evidence strongly suggests that Muhammad had access to a manuscript from which he could read to the people. Without access to such a manuscript, it raises the question of what he would have been reading from.
If a Muslim claims that the above texts do not necessarily mean that Muhammad was reading an actual book, because there was no Quranic manuscript for him to read, note what the following passage states:

Those who disbelieve say: "This (the Qur'an) is nothing but a lie that he (Muhammad SAW) has invented, and others have helped him at it, so that they have produced an unjust wrong (thing) and a lie." And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon." S. 25:4-5

Not only did Muhammad have the Quran written down, showing that he had access to an actual manuscript that he could read, the Quran even refers to pure pages that Muhammad was reading to the people:

A messenger from Allah, reading purified pages (yatlu suhufan mutahharatan) S. 98:1-2

The term suhuf refers to an actual scripture just as the following verse proves:

The Books (suhuf) of Abraham and Moses. S. 87:19

Therefore, we can now conclude that the Quran provides compelling evidence supporting the claim that Muhammad possessed the ability to read and write. A more in-depth examination of the ahadith is now necessary to further substantiate this assertion.

Evidence from the Ahadith

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Once the Prophet wrote a letter or had an idea of writing a letter. The Prophet was told that they (rulers) would not read letters unless they were sealed. So the Prophet got a silver ring made with "Muhammad Allah's Apostle" engraved on it. As if I were just observing its white glitter in the hand of the Prophet… (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 3, Number 65)
Narrated Anas bin Malik: When the Prophet (ﷺ) intended to write to the Byzantines, it was said to him, "Those people do not read your letter unless it is stamped." Narrated 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah: Ibn 'Abbas said, "When the ailment of the Prophet became worse, he said, 'Bring for me (writing) paper and I will write for you a statement after which you will not go astray.' But 'Umar said, 'The Prophet is seriously ill, and we have got Allah's Book with us and that is sufficient for us.' But the companions of the Prophet differed about this and there was a hue and cry. On that the Prophet said to them, 'Go away (and leave me alone). It is not right that you should quarrel in front of me." Ibn 'Abbas came out saying, ""It was most unfortunate (a great disaster) that Allah's Apostle was prevented from writing that statement for them because of their disagreement and noise. Narrated Ibn `Abbas: When the time of the death of the Prophet (ﷺ) approached while there were some men in the house, and among them was Umar bin Al-Khatttab, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Come near let me write for you a writing after which you will never go astray."Umar said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) is seriously ill, and you have the Qur'an, so Allah's Book is sufficient for us." The people in the house differed and disputed. Some of them said, "Come near so that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) may write for you a writing after which you will not go astray," while some of them said what Umar said. When they made much noise and differed greatly before the Prophet, he said to them, "Go away and leave me." IbnAbbas used to say, "It was a great disaster that their difference and noise prevented Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) from writing that writing for them. (Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 92, Number 468)
Narrated Yazid ibn Abdullah: We were at Mirbad. A man with dishevelled hair and holding a piece of red skin in his hand came. We said: You appear to be a bedouin. He said: Yes. We said: Give us this piece of skin in your hand. He then gave it to us and we read it. It contained the text: "From Muhammad, Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), to Banu Zuhayr ibn Uqaysh. If you bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, offer prayer, pay zakat, pay the fifth from the booty, and the portion of the Prophet (ﷺ) and his special portion (safi), you will be under by the protection of Allah and His Apostle." Narrated Al-Bara' bin 'Azib (RA):The Prophet (ﷺ) sent 'Ali to Yemen. The narrator mentioned the complete Hadith. He said, "Ali sent a letter regarding their (the people of Yemen) acceptance of Islam. When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) read the letter, he prostrated in gratitude to Allah the Most High for that." [Reported by al-Baihaqi].

Muhammad also had access to Syriac books. He also commanded Zaid Bin Thabit to learn the Syriac Language and the book of the Jews:

Ibn Hajar said in Al-Fath: It can be made that he learned their language, reading and writing, because he used to read their books to him and write to them if he wanted to write to them. This is indicated by Al-Tirmidhi’s classification of this hadith by saying: Chapter on what was mentioned in teaching the Syriacs, and in it he mentioned another narration that says In it Zaid: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded me to learn Syriac, and in Sunan Abu Dawud: Zaid bin Thabit - may God be pleased with him - said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, commanded me to learn the book of the Jews for him, and he said: By God, no Jews believed in my book. So I learned it, and only half a month passed before I mastered it. I would write to him when he wrote, and I would read to him when he wrote to him.
The author of Awn al-Ma’boud said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded me, that is, to learn the book of the Jews, so I learned for him, that is, for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said, meaning, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, is a conjunction of my command to explain the reason for the matter. The Jews did not believe in my book, that is, I fear if I commanded a Jew. By writing a book to the Jews, or reading a book that the Jews had come to add or subtract from, so I learned it, i.e., a Jewish book, until I mastered it with the dictionary dhāl and waqf, meaning I knew it, mastered it, and taught it, so I used to write for him, i.e., for the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, whenever he wrote, i.e., if he wanted to write.

Al-Tahawi said in Al-Mu’tasir:

It was narrated from Zaid Bin Thabbit, that he said:
The Messenger (PBUH) said: “Do you know Syriac well? I receive Syriac books.” Zaid said: “No.” The Messenger (PBUH) said: “Learn it (Syriac Language).” Zaid said: “So I learned it in seventeen days.”

TLDR; my mother-in-law endangered my child's life over breakfast food.
I (31F) and my husband (30M) have been married for 5 years. My mother-in-law, let's call her Tiffany, has never really been fond of me. I didn't understand why for a while, and assumed I was misreading the vibes, until we got engaged. She immediately told me she always thought he would marry a blonde, like her and his younger sister -let's call her Ella . I'm half Latinx, and this was the first of several comments she made that showed that she didn't approve of that. That's just a tiny context for the following tea:
My husband and I had a little girl together a little over 2 years ago. She's adorable and wonderful in pretty much every way - and I'm not just saying that because she's mine. She potty trained herself, she's always been ahead milestone wise, she slept through the night at 6 weeks, and everywhere we go people talk about how beautiful she is. Even as a 2 year old, we have minimal tantrums - she's just a sweet, great kid, all credit to her - she just came that way. But, Tiffany tries to claim credit for anything and everything good about her, and blames anything "wrong" with her on me and my "mystery" genetics. One of those things is her food allergy. Our girl has a SEVERE allergy to eggs. Think what you typically hear about with nuts, but eggs. Contact reactions, anaphylaxis, the whole 9 yards. We found out about this allergy not long after she started eating solid food, so it's not new news to Tiffany and her family, but them being careful about it has been an absolute non-stop battle, and she has made every possible effort to blame it on me, my parenting, or my genetics (for the record, neither of our families have a history of food allergies - it was a total fluke).
Most recently, we went to visit for a weekend (why we still even do this at all is a whole other post's worth of info), and because I was hesitant to do so with the history we have had, Tiffany swore up and down that she would have an egg-free kitchen so it would be safe to prepare food for our daughter. I didn't trust it, but my husband begged me to give her a chance, so I agreed. First thing when we arrived, she informed me she had "forgotten" to throw her eggs away, and asked if she should just take them to a neighbor. I told her she didn't have to do that, as long as they were in a sealed container in the fridge, unbroken, it would be fine. She said they were, but my alarm bells were going off like crazy. We ate out with them that night, and I ran my usual checks with the restaurant, no problem. It seemed to annoy everyone else at the table, but whatever, the restaurant was super kind and accommodating.
Fast forward to the following morning. Ella, who is pregnant, and her husband Josh arrived for breakfast after a supposedly intense workout. We got there from our hotel shortly after them (no continental breakfast unfortunately). As we walk in, Tiffany says "Oh, by the way, I put eggs in the pancakes, so those won't be for you, but you can eat whatever you can find that doesn't have eggs in it." I just stared a bit shocked, because I knew I had told her before that most pancake mix contains powdered egg, which can be really dangerous if our daughter breathes it in. And not only did she use a pancake mix that had eggs in it, but also had added additional eggs (this is what I figured out by inspecting the kitchen).
So, I pick up my daughter so that she can't touch anything that might hurt her and start looking around the kitchen for something she and I can safely eat. I generally avoid eggs too because I don't want to risk the cross contact, unless I'm in a space I can fully control. I find us some fruit and yogurt, and we sit down in the dining room. The table is small, so there's not much space to put food down, without it being a little too close for comfort to everyone else's egg filled pancakes, but I try to be careful to keep the peace. As we are eating, Tiffany begins cooking again in the kitchen. I assume she is making more pancakes or something and ignore it. They happily thank her for the food and start dishing up, so I stand up, grab my daughter, and walk out of the room, and explain to my daughter that we can't go in the kitchen or dining room anymore because it's not safe for her. She's had enough reactions that she is aware of how sick eggs make her, and she is really careful as long as she's aware that she's not in a safe space. Tiffany walks past in a huff, clearly offended that I've told my daughter that grandma's house isn't safe.
The rest of the trip she continued to make passive aggressive remarks about her allergy, and how no one told her she needed to be accomodating, shoving ingredient labels in my face and demanding I read them because she doesn't want to get her glasses, or saying that if I hadn't introduced her to eggs so early, she wouldn't be so allergic in the first place (all her doctors say the opposite). My husband thinks she didn't intend to do anything dangerous, and was just thinking about her pregnant daughter. I argued that she clearly knew what she did was wrong, otherwise she wouldn't have promised an egg free kitchen in the first place, and that forgetting to check a label is one thing, but actively adding eggs to the food and making scrambled eggs is another thing entirely. I also didn't expect her to accommodate - she is the one that promised she would, and on the advice of my husband I gave her a chance to do so. I wish there was a more satisfying conclusion to this, but it has more or less remained unresolved. Advice is appreciated🫠. BUT, that is my story of my "Breakfast at Tiffany's" from hell.

This is the state of the room right now, only the dark wood queen bed frame will be staying. Mainly need advice knowing what layout/textures and colors to buy for desks/rugs/decore cause I have no knowledge but dug for ideas.
Just the bed is mine. Couch and lil table on right are goin.

I've never designed a room before, not rlly my thing but have been bingeing content and these are a few ideas I'm looking for feedback on:
General Vibe Goal: Earthy/Calm/Relaxing - But still light/bright/airy - Woods+GreenPlants - accent knicknacks/colors (burnt orange? olive/sage? pastel/navy blues?)
I have no idea what i'm doing so the vibe ideas are just a starting point i guess. I need people to tell me i'm stupid for any of the below color wise or layout wise before i fuck it up pls. Also if there's something i'm not considering, I got own the place now but have 2.5 months till I actually live there.
Desk:
I'll be working from home, so a desk is a must. I'm thinking a L shaped standing desk where the couch is right now under the window (although unsure if L-shape is a good call) that way i can look out the window facing the short side or face the wall with more space. Trouble deciding what color, but i heard you shouldn't make your woods monochrome so maybe a lighter walnut to blend the dark wood with light walls better, or maybe a slightly darker walnut to not contrast the floor and bed as much as the third major piece in the room.

Rug:
The dark wood bed frame on top of the dark wood floor might be a little depressing although it's calming, so i'm thinking a lighter run under the bed (not sure where to place it exactly). Maybe even a rug that has accent colors. I'm thinking:
Could go with making oranges and blues accent colors which i could bring out in the bedding and pillows
Same Idea with the more gemometric one, stuck between them currently would love opinions.

Bedding:
I don't want boring grey pillows and grey sheets like I have now. I want layered bedding that compliments the room and I think a big part of that will be what the area rug under the bed ends up being since I'll likely want to bring out the accent colors (hopefully orange/olive accents to compliment the earthy feel) between them. So with the first two rugs maybe this kind of color scheme?:

Mirror:
After some research, I think a full length mirror on the back of the door would be best, as the limited space could be saved for other decor, and this location allows natural light to bounce back into the room off the mirror causing more layering of the lighting and making the shadows in the room less harsh which i hope adds a lighter cozyer feeling. Although not sure if I should go with a white frame like this or brown wood frame again, leaning towards white because it goes with the door's white better and heard you should vary the textures in the room a bit so everything isn't just wood:

Shelving:
I'm thinking wall shelves first of all for more plants and greenery, as well as photos and lil random items and stuff cause I think little personal items displayed make a room feel more cozy and lived in.

After 4 weeks of pain with pantheon I know no one wants to hear it, but you know what would have been cool? To separate the 1% that get Godslayer from the 0.1%? Allowing us to guild the seal with one triumph, complete the final week of pantheon without leaving the activity.
With my LFG luck I would never be able to get it, but I can awe at those that do.
Honestly, on week one I was very surprised that one of the hidden achievements was NOT to finish without leaving. Especially week 1. Like, speed runners got it down to faster than an episode of TV right? Not too much to ask at all for earlier weeks, but for later weeks of completing without leaving, you would see those guilded Godslayers and know they’re a top tier raider.

A Coast Guard admiral and military liaison to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been sentenced by a military commission to hang by the neck until dead for treason and sedition, a Guantanamo Bay source told Real Raw News.
As reported last month, Marines happened upon Rear Admiral Michael Platt while laying a trap to ensnare Mayorkas in Eagle Pass, Texas. Although Mayorkas never arrived at the embattled border city, Platt’s presence there was viewed by White Hats as a consolation prize.

“I answer only to the POTUS, Joseph R. Biden, and Homeland Director Alejandro Mayorkas, and I’m innocent of your made-up crimes,” he had told JAG staff at an initial interrogation.
Our source said JAG expedited his trial date to demonstrate what fate would befall other treasonous officers who had or might have been thinking about violating their constitutional oath. You have copies of this correspondence in your folders, and they’ve been authenticated,” the captain explained.
Platt objected, saying he could explain the letter, and the captain allowed him to speak.
“I sent the letters to friends, officers who had already told me they’d vote for Biden. I was just reminding them they told me they’d vote for Biden, and it wasn’t like I sent it to every Coast Guard member everywhere,” Platt said.
“That makes no sense,” the captain said to the panel. “Why would anyone need to be reminded who to vote for? Did his ‘friends’ have amnesia? Dementia? Did they really need a mental nudge? No, of course not. What the detainee did do is incite insurrection, treason, mutiny. And this set a pattern of future misconduct.”

Working on a new menu and trying to figure out the best way to pick up a smoked airline chicken breast to order.
The current plan is brine the chicken overnight, smoke until 100-120 degrees Fahrenheit, then rapidly cool them all the way down. After that Vacuum seal individually and pick up to order by searing in a hot sauté pan and roast in the oven until they reach 165.
I was wondering if anyone else has attempted anything like this before and has any tips or tricks. My main concern is drying out the chicken and the amount of time to finish cooking. I've used this method at home many times but without cooling the chicken all the way down.
Extra background info. We are currently serving the breast brined and vacuum sealed, pan seared to order. We want to add smoke but also reduce cooking time. Currently takes anywhere from 13-15 minutes to pick up the chicken. Due to volume for the summer we are looking for a way to reduce cooking times while adding smoked flavor. Would also love to be able to par cook/smoke 3 days worth of breast at a time.
Any advice welcome.

2024.05.21 23:20 SERISET What macro lens should I buy?

I curently have a Nikon 105mm F/4 lens (that gets to 1:1 with a tube). I often use it with macro filters to acheive greater reproduction ratio. I also have a Nikon SB-29s. I shoot handheld and I like the results I’m getting with this setup.
However, F/4 + an extention tube means this lens is very dark and I wanted something brighter, and the need for an extension tube in order to reach 1:1 annoys me.
I was thinking about the Laowa 100mm, but it was designed in a way that makes the working distance smaller than other models of similar focal length at the same magnification ratio. This is a dealbreaker for me (but the 2:1 ratio would be nice).
My other idea was the Irix 150mm, but the front element is 77mm, meaning I can’t put a Raynox filter without using a step down filter, let alone my flash. I’m using an APS-C camera and the front element of the Irix is much smaller than 77mm so hopefully it won’t cause vignetting? Also, the weather sealing appeals to me.
For a similar price I could also get the 105mm Nikon AF-S, but it has less working distance than the Irix and I really don’t care about stabilisation/autofocus. I don’t think it is the right choice for me.
There is also a lot of 100mm ish lenses available, but more working distance would be appreciated.
What would you recommend?

I am currently running on the last legs of my 8-yea- old 2nd Gen AirPods and am looking to buy new earbuds and would love some advice before I make a final decision, Some context that may help:

I mainly use my headphones for working out (not too strenuously (weightlifting) but occasionally I will go running or do calisthenics) and talking on the phone while outside in a busy urban area
I bought a pair of TOZO earbuds and HATED how they felt in my ear (and, yes, I tried all the different sized covers). They felt way too deep and I didn't love how much they sealed my ear (maybe because they were so deep?). I like noise-cancelling to an extent but I don't think the 2nd gen airpods had that and I liked them just fine. I also prefer how they feel in my ear.
I have never had issues with the airpods until recently but I read that there are other brands that last longer (battery and the device itself) so I am interested in "investing" (which I would like to spend under $200).

I ultimately don't have very high standards for sound quality but want something I can use frequently to exercise, be aware of my surroundings, make phone calls, and not damage my hearing.
I have been looking at the Sennheiser SPORT True Wireless but have seen mixed reviews. I've also never had an issue with exercise and the airpods so I'm wondering if I even need something labelled "sport"? I don't know the first thing about tech so I would love any advice I can get for my specific circumstance! Thank you!

Everyone knows that record prices are increasing and use to be really cheap now it’s around £30 minimum for a brand new sealed record. However, something that really shocked me is charity shops are now on this trend of increasing prices. Usually charity shops are my go to for records mainly because they’re only like £2-3 and have lots of disco with the occasional house record. The other day i went into a charity shop to see £10 for an absolutely battered second hand disco single (One Love by Celi Bee And The Buzzy Bunch for anyone curious). I was absolutely shocked at that price for a single in a charity shop, especially with the condition it was in. Story over that was it just felt like posting this incase anyone has any similar stories or wants to get their complaints about this issue out.

There was this song I liked on Sound Cloud round 2019-2020, and just one day it disappeared along with the creator of it. However I remember some of the details.
The guy who made the song their username was their first and last name, Kenny (don't remember). Or at least I remember it being Kenny, might be misremembering it.
The song was called "Sometimes you just gotta be your own best friend."
Some of the lyrics. Keep in mind this is not in order.

I know that Sound Cloud doesn't play some songs base off your country, and I don't believe this to be the case. I've been looking for this song off and on again, if anything I just want to know what happened to it.

I became a fan last year around this time and have been kinda obsessed with Billie and her music. I own her albums and EP (which I consider an album) on vinyl. I have the 3 action figures from her music videos. I have her book, comic book and a ukulele book of how to play her songs.
I’ve been looking forward to this new album for months and preordered the Amazon version because the red looked awesome contrasted with the blue. I also bought the paint splattered CD because I wanted to get something directly from her store (never have purchased anything there before).
Release day got here and both my physical copies were late. The CD was shipped via UPS to USPS and just got here today (Tuesday). The vinyl came from Amazon and would’ve gotten here on release day but after arriving in my city it left town and came back the next day. I’d like to say I won’t be preordering anything from Amazon again but I never learn my lesson.
I streamed the album on release day on Apple Music and just couldn’t get into it. I was so disappointed. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Most songs sounded like some kind of post release remixes (which I don’t usually care for) and a couple songs didn’t sound like her voice. On top of that, her vocals were drowned out by fairly boring electronica(?) music. I’m a big fan of Finneas as a musician and producer but this album felt like he didn’t have much to work with and just overproduced everything. It’s just too experimental for my taste (and I love The Flaming Lips 🤷🏼‍♂️). I had a second listen today and I was able to acknowledge a few more good aspects of the music and lyrics but I’m really just over it. I’m really hoping the two album theory is true because I need something completely different. I’m not someone who just demands the same old thing from artists but this album is just lazy and very niche compared to her other three albums (and WWIMF) which are some of the best collections of music I’ve ever heard.
At any rate, Amazon gave me a quick refund and I bought an Ed Sheeran cd/dvd and the above pictured Bluey album on vinyl. I’ve been wanting it and my 2 year old daughter has been complaining that I don’t have any blue vinyl in my collection.
TLDR: I’m disappointed with the new album and bought something really cool to fill the void 😄

I'm on 300mg of lamotrigine, first of all is this a high dose? I am also prescribed 10mg extended release adderall but I don't take it every day, usually about twice a week when I really need to focus - I want to rely on as little as possible meds as I can.
I don't drink alcohol, I exercise every day, bicycle commute and play on two soccer teams. I use marijuana to relax after a long shift or on a day off when I'm playing my instruments at home. For someone who uses it fairly regularly I don't have much of a tolerance, even when I use it regularly I cannot take more than 5mg of an edible without being uncomfortable, 2.5mg does it for me. I'll roll a joint and take 3 days to finish the whole thing. Just describing for context.
I'm having swiss cheese brain. I decided to take a break from weed, curious to pay close attention and see the difference but I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem with lamotrigine. Today I couldn't recall what I did yesterday, to the point I had to ask my boyfriend how I got to his house - i couldn't remember if I drove or walked or if he picked me up. I started walking home in confusion from genuinely not being able to remember. I couldn't remember that less than 24 hours ago I took the train to the next town over to spend the afternoon with my parents, and he picked me up from the train station. until he told me, and then I instantly remembered everything. I feel really alarmed by this.
I don't want to switch meds because it helps me so much but this is hindering my daily life and becoming more and more frustrating. Sometimes my brain feels like it gets wiped clean in the middle of a conversation and it makes me seem like a terrible listener even when I'm trying my best.
My boyfriend gets frustrated because I write music and play and sing in multiple bands, and he comments that have no trouble memorizing and recalling the music and lyrics to dozens of songs and learning new ones all the time, but can't remember basic stuff that affects him, like plans, dates, things we've talked about already, things I've done (or have failed to do). He says it's selective and I'm not putting effort into remembering important things. Haaaaalp

2024.05.21 22:47 immunic Demogorgon's Addons are kinda mid so here are some concept ones I made as a Demogorgon main.

Rat Liver (brown) - Increase movement speed while holding shred by 7.5 (was 3.5)
This is because 3.5 is barely a good enough speed to see a difference, but seeing this as a brown I'd understand why.
Rat Tail (brown) - Decreases the time it takes to go into portals by 50%
Rat Tail is a really good add on to have and without it placing portals is so sluggish and takes a bit to do, especially if you want to multitask and place portals during chases. So I made it base kit and gave it a different description, making the time it takes to go through a portal faster.
Rotten Green Tripe (yellow) - Increases Teleport speed by 20% (was 15%)
Rotten Green Tripe is an okay add on and it could really use a buff to make it a bit better.
Viscous Webbing (yellow) - Change: While holding shred for 2 seconds, The Demogorgon gains undetectable.
Viscous Webbing is a pretty terrible add on that nobody will ever run, making it take 16% longer to seal portals. Since the number is really small and it makes sealing portals take 2 seconds longer, instead of buffing it, I changed the effect completely and provided a stealthy aspect to his kit with this add on.
Sticky Lining (yellow) - Increases the Area of Effect of active Portals by +4 meters. New effect: The range of the audio the portals emit is decreased by 4 meters.
Sticky lining is also another add on that never gets any good use, so to make it special, buffing the range and making the portal sounds quieter would make them harder to listen out for.
Brass Case Lighter (green) - Change: Injured survivors that come into contact with active portals suffer from the Hemorrhaged and the Mangled status effect for 80 seconds.
Demo doesn't really have any anti-healing in his kit of add ons and given how useless blindness is, even for 60 seconds, it gives anti-healing status effects.
Deer Lung (green) - Increases Teleport speed by 40% (was 30%) and removes 1 portal (was 2)
Deer lung had too much of a severe downside for only 30% of traverse speed so buffing the speed and removing only 1 portal instead of two shouldn't make it really dangerous.
Thorny Vines (green) Increases Portal Sealing Time by 40% (was 11%). No longer increases the area of effect of active portals by 1 meter.
Thorny vines only made the portals take 1.5 seconds longer to remove and the extra 1 meter of detection was barely anything to help out in a match.
Eleven's Soda (green) - Change: While traversing The Upside Down, the progress of the generators' is determined by the color of their aura.
Seeing which generator is being repaired while you're locked in animation and you can't go back is really annoying so why not let the Demogorgon also see the progress of the generator through the color like the wraith's add on.
Violet Waxcap (green) - Increases the undetectable status effect the Demogorgon gains after emerging from a portal by 5 seconds. (was 1 second)
Come on. 1 second? Really?
Lifeguard Whistle (purple) - Killer instinct is automatically triggered without holding shred. No longer removes 1 meter of detection range
Why would a purple with a good effect need to have such a stupid downside. Just remove it.
Unknown Egg (purple) - Change: While traversing the upside down, press Active Ability 1 to go back to the portal you were going through and reappear from the portal you entered. Does not work when within 16 meters of a hooked survivor.
This would be such a good thing to have because when survivors see you go through a portal they are safe unless you placed a portal next to the one you entered. To prevent this, The Demogorgon should have a button to go back to the start. Also, you can't use it when you are within 16 meters of a hooked survivor to prevent easy Make your Choice and Devour downs.
Upside Down Resin (purple) - Portals take 60% longer to seal (was 40%)
Making portals take a maximum of 24 seconds to seal would be a good thing to have especially since 4 seconds is barely a difference.
Vermillion Webcap (purple) - Increases the undetectable status effect the Demogorgon gains after emerging from a portal by 8 seconds. (was 3 seconds)
Leprose Lichen (red) - The Auras of all Survivors are revealed to you while traversing the Upside Down. This effect lingers while survivors are within 16 meters of an active portal. Change: Removes the Global Teleport sound that occurs when teleporting.
This would make the nerf that they added for this add on actually viable if it had the secondary effect of making the teleport sound inaudible.
Red Moss (red) - Increases the duration of the Undetectable Status Effect by +16 seconds (was 8 seconds) Suppresses all noise made while emerging from Portals. While undetectable, The Growling Sounds the Demogorgon makes is removed. No longer increases the time it takes to emerge from a portal.
Red Moss is a pretty mediocre add on even for an iridescent so these changed definitely would make them suitable for ultra-rare. Also, giving the Demogorgon a more stealthy aspect would make him more fun with a stealth build.

Hello, this might be a little confusing hopefully not too much: I want to proc hexxers kiss augment ability for the N% reduced resistances but don’t use a build that does melee/ up close main hand damage However I can use seal of shadows component to grant me the ability of the biting blades that had 50% main hand damage on it.
So, does the 15% to proc the hexxers kiss ability work off the 50% main hand damage? Which would technically be a 7.5% to proc instead of the full 15% chance?

I recently re-downloaded a couple dating apps and it's shattered any last remaining bits of confidence or self-love I had for myself. So, here I am.
I'm not desperate, though. I'm very comfortable being alone. If you're the type of person who messages every "F" (or just anyone) who posts and right swipes through dating apps as fast as your thumb can go, you need not apply. One of my biggest gifts (and curses) is my ability to read people, even online. I check everyone's profile, and I will absolutely make fun of you as I ignore your "hey" ass. Save us both the time and exit out here; no harm, no foul, but I'll remember our time fondly =)
I'm looking for someone whose life would be enriched by a partner, someone who is looking for a wife and children not because they need it but because they desire it. I find that too many people seek relationships because it fulfills a need for them, whether it be sex or children or simple companionship. I am a solitary creature; I desire none of these things unless I find someone I truly like.
