Since my childhood, my aim has been to become a pilot. Unfortunately, when I completed my 10th standard, my father told me he could not support me financially and gave me career scares regarding the aviation industry. As a result, I had to make other choices. Now, at 25 years old and working in the IT industry, I feel that it's not for me and I want to chase my dreams.
For around two months, I have been rigorously researching how and where to become a pilot, whether it is better to do it in India or abroad, and other related information. However, the main issue troubling me is money. I have watched hundreds of hours of YouTube videos and spoken to many flying schools, all of which said the same thing: banks offer education loans to obtain a CPL (Commercial Pilot License) either in India or abroad.
Here is the catch: the banks are asking for a working co-applicant to sign and to start paying the EMI from the first month itself. My father passed away during COVID-19, and it is only me and my mom. However, I do have collateral that can cover the course value, but the banks are saying that since it is not a degree but a vocational course, only collateral is not acceptable without a co-applicant.
Is there any bank that offers a loan that can be paid after course completion, similar to a typical education loan? Or is there any other way to pursue my dreams? I would really appreciate any tips or straight answers on whether I can become a pilot, considering my situation.

With unanimous approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals, Ja’Duke Inc. is one step closer to opening its second performance art, driver’s education and preschool center at the former Greenfield Community College building at 270 Main St.
Ja’Duke owners Kimberly Williams and Nicholas Waynelovich came before the ZBA last week with a detailed plan to transform the 25,000-square-foot building into a facility equipped with a driver’s education classroom on the basement floor, classroom space to hold 35 infants and 45 toddlers on the first floor, and five preschool classrooms and three performance arts educational rooms on the third floor. Williams said she expects the facility will hold between 120 to 150 students per day.
“With a wait list of 120, you can’t just sit on your hands, you’ve got to do something,” Williams said.
Williams confirmed Monday that she plans on closing on the new property for about $655,000 by the end of June, with the goal of opening in 2025. Although Viva Tubes founder Dave Mell purchased the building for $700,000 in January 2023, Williams said it has remained unused since 2020.
Ja’Duke first opened in 2004 in the basement of the Colle Opera House before moving to its current space at 110 Industrial Blvd. in Turners Falls a few years later. It has grown to include driver’s education through the Ja’Duke Driving School, 75 weekly performance art classes under Ja’Duke Center for the Performing Arts, and 14 early education and child care classrooms through Ja’Duke Preschool.
Williams said Ja’Duke’s Turners Falls location will remain open for business as the company expands to Greenfield.
“[Child care and early education] is a much-needed thing in every community right now — I think it’s a no-brainer,” Williams told the ZBA Thursday. “This is mainly an expansion of learning into a more populated area.”
Williams said Ja’Duke expects to pay roughly $1.2 million to make numerous renovations to the Greenfield building, such as roof repairs or replacement, installation of new sprinklers, and upgrades to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.
Because the building is in a commercially zoned area, Ja’Duke needed to obtain a special permit from the ZBA to operate a private school.
Before the ZBA’s unanimous vote of approval, member Debra Gilkes noted that the board should consider the new business’ potential impact on traffic in downtown Greenfield, considering the school’s 120-150-student capacity and other large-scale projects being planned in the area, such as the redevelopment of the former Wilson’s Department Store. In response, Williams said student drop-offs and pick-ups at Ja’Duke’s current location typically take place quickly and efficiently, mitigating negative traffic impacts. She said the vehicles come and go “like a stream.”

Hello, recently I decided to try making my own custom background in an enclosure im building for my Tokay gecko. I used the Great Stuff foam method whereas you spray the foam on the back of the enclosure, before it cures you then throw coconut coir and moss on the background it hopes that it will all stick. Well, long story short, only SOME of it stuck, and there are numerous parts where the black foam is just showing through the background. It doesn’t bother me much, but I’m more concerned about how it would affect my gecko and I’m hoping the exposure to heat lamp or UVB wouldn’t damage the foam or cause an issue. I would like to ultimately find a way to get the foam covered, but I’m not sure how since it’s already cured? Would gorilla glue spray be a good choice? Just spray everything and apply another layer of coconut coir? Maybe I should just leave it how it is? Any help would be appreciated please!

And I want to clarify, I stand with Palestine, the ethnic genocide that has been happening there is horrendous in every way. But I think a commentary YouTuber is the wrong place to direct that energy and expect thorough knowledge of every single thing going on in the world from. Buying Starbucks does not make you evil.
Starbucks does not fund the war, Starbucks does not contribute to the war financially, they also do not operate in Israel. The company higher-ups have made an unethical and politically bad move (who is shocked, this is a billion-dollar company), but the money from your frappuccino will not kill someone. People who want to boycott can boycott, but you can't expect everyone to do the same.
Danny has been unproblematic throughout his career on YouTube, and he has recently become a father, meaning he has a BABY now. That is a lot of work for anyone, he is a dad now and should be given the space to prioritise his family. He is likely spending less time online these days.

And because he left a Starbucks cup out in the background of a video of him in his home, in a clip where he is recording a TikTok where he is begging Jake Paul to fight him, I do think that that is a leap to presume that is him voicing his support of a mass murder.
It upsets me so much that the backlash was obviously so immediate and harsh that Danny obviously felt the need to write an apology about it, because Danny has literally seen this happen to people alongside him on YouTube (severity of actual harm done ranging from Shane Dawson to Ned Fulmer, to Jenna Marbles), and like two videos he had a whole segment talking about how much he loved his job and hoped he'd be able to do it for much longer, but he has to be careful because he doesn't know how long the career span is. Oh my god I would actually die, the dread and worry and the foreshadowing would kill me. I pray there is no actual impact on him getting sponsorships or how his channel does online
I'm sad that this is the point this has gotten to. If you care about the current Israel war on Gaza, go actually support that idea. Go protest, or donate to aid or relief. Help the Palestinians, or go pressure people who can actually do something about it.

Artist Biography by Daniel Karasek
Pretty Lights is a music project out of Colorado started by Derek Vincent Smith. He started making hip-hop in high school and dropped out of college during his freshman year at the University of Colorado at Boulder to pursue a career in producing music. Derek released his debut album in 2006 titled Taking Up Your Precious Time under the moniker Pretty Lights. He toured on this album supporting STS9, the Disco Biscuits, and Widespread Panic. By 2010, Derek had released two more albums and had toured major festivals including Coachella, Ultra, Movement, and Electric Zoo. The next year he created his Pretty Lights Music imprint to release albums by Michal Menert, Gramatik, and Eliot Lipp. In 2012, Derek started working on Pretty Lights’ fourth album, which featured drummer Adam Deitch, Soulive’s Eric Krasno, the Harlem Gospel Choir, and members of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and the Treme Brass Band. The idea behind the album was to capture a vintage sound while making it sound like what Pretty Lights had been known to produce. The resulting album, A Color Map of the Sun, was nominated at the 2013 Grammy Awards. The Hidden Shades EP came the following year featuring remixes and B-side tracks. Later in 2014, Derek moved to New Orleans to form a band he called Pretty Lights Live. This lineup toured for a few years with some Red Rocks shows included on the tour. Then, Derek fell off the map and became a whisper in the music community. He had to get himself sorted out with rumors of substance abuse being what stole him from the world and his fans. Then, after five years and a global pandemic, Derek rose from the ashes with Pretty Lights Live, featuring Alvin Ford Jr. on drums, Borahm Lee on keys, Michal Menert on guitar, and turntablist Chris Karns. The band toured in 2023 to sold-out venues across the country. Their live show now features drones, Lidar-crafted visuals, and free live streams that are available on YouTube.
To give a very simplified overview of how their set works, Derek acts as a conductor of sorts for all the other band members. Each member plays their instruments as a jam band and feeds in their audio to Derek. Derek then live mixes these sounds with a custom modular synthesizer to create what comes out of the PA systems at a show. Additionally, Derek will incorporate his own noise into the mix as well. While all this is going on, there are Lidar sensors onstage that are taking live 3-D mappings of the stage and sometimes the crowd and venue. On the screens behind the band, they project these mappings for visuals during the show. Oh, and they have a ton of lasers that light up the sky. And if that wasn’t enough, the rumor for Bonnaroo is that there will be a drone show above Pretty Lights on Thursday. I’ve seen what drones can do while I was at the Texas Eclipse Fest this year. It will be the best show of their 2024 tour.

Hello all! I’m going on holiday in a few weeks time and while I was planning on being extension free for 2024, all the girls I’m going with are wearing braids and I don’t want to do another silk press to make my hair more low maintenance for my trip.

I know it's gone now but part of me doesn't want to believe it. I miss her intensely want to reach out but I know I cant. It's been 2 weeks. I want nothing more than her love, but neither of us was happy with the relationship. I feel like I put my all into it, but kept getting hurt. I know I can't return to that... but I want to. I love her and it's irreparable because it's been too many days and I'm blocked. I just want to sit down with her and talk to her but I know it's not okay for me to try contact her now. I'm just so scared of that being the last time we speak. Of having to walk away from something I loved. The hurt, avoidant behaviour, her feelings for another guy, her not feeling I was supportive enough, needing to chase her.. But how good it felt in between the roller coaster. I just wish so bad it could of been healthy. I miss her so bad. I loved her and now my heart is just empty without her. Im so sad the relationship is broken, and it can't be healthy. I wish I hadent felt so hurt. I wish we could of reconciled after you broke up. I wish it felt right. But it feels so wrong losing you... I feel like this is one that's going to haunt me for a while. I feel like I'm never going to find someone like her again. I spent so much of my life alone emotionally. Im 27 almost 28, and I miss the connection we had. A lot of fire has been spreading from the new beta changes that recently came out through leaks, I won’t get to deep into leaks but I’ll basically sum it up to Firefly has basically been revamped in the damage compartment and is now very good, In the first beta many were calling her damage mid and it was a fair assessment as harmony MC carried her damage a lot.
That’s not the problem tho firefly getting buffs is good (she needed them) the problem is that hoyo is choosing the worst time to do this with boothills release just around the corner they are essentially butchering any chance he has at become relevant reason being is well the new break effect set that is coming out in 2.3 was supposed to be a universal break set that would work for all break dps but what did hoyo go and do? They butchered it in the new beta by making it purely for Firefly and not to mention that very specific planar set she has that could’ve been good universally but no.
looking at the changes there is basically no reason to pick up boothill if your looking for a break dps as. Firefly has not only gotten catered relics specifically for her kit but her single target damage basically rivals boothill… like what??? The question now comes is what is hoyo doing with the hunt path they cannot seem to get the hunt path down to the core and make it actually viable in the meta.
I expected hunt units to be absolutely unrivaled in single target and by unrivaled I mean they have no one (besides other hunt units) that rival them in single target yet they constantly push destruction units down our throats that do not only aoe but single target better than the hunt units.
My thoughts are finished here I just think it sucks that boothill is getting power crept the moment his banner leaves would have wanted him to stay relevant for at least a while and yeah you’ll see all those YouTube videos day 1 of his release talking about how broken his damage is and it’ll die down..
