Hallo zusammen,
ich bin Azubi im 2. Ausbildungsjahr. Ich erlerne einen kaufmännischen Beruf in einem mittleren Unternehmen. Ich entschuldige mich im Voraus für den langen Post.
Es gibt einen Aufgabenbereich in meinem Betrieb, den nur ich und ein Arbeitskollege beherrschen. Ursprünglich hätte ich mit diesem Aufgabenbereich nichts zu tun gehabt, jedoch ist der genannte Kollege einmal krankheitsbedingt ausgefallen und mir wurde eine einzige Aufgabe (~10 %) dieses Bereichs zugeteilt. So weit so gut.
Der Grund, wieso nur zwei Angestellte diesen Aufgabenbereich erledigen können, ist ganz einfach: Personalmangel. Vor ein paar Wochen war der besagte Kollege nochmal Krank, und mein Vorgesetzter hat mich darum gebeten, dass ich seinen Teil dieser Aufgaben mit erledige. Ich musste ihn daran erinnern, dass ich nur einen geringen Teil dieser Aufgaben kann und somit die Aufgaben des Kollegens liegen bleiben müssen. Darauf kam die Antwort, dass ich mir doch bitte alles vom Kollegen zeigen lasse, damit auch ich zur Not alles selbstständig erledigen kann.
Daraufhin habe ich meinem Vorgesetzten gesagt, dass wir dies schon längst machen wollten, uns aber einfach die Zeit aufgrund der hohen Arbeitsbelastung fehlt. Darüber hinaus ist das nichts, was man mal kurz innerhalb eines Arbeitstages lernt: Dieser Aufgabenbereich ist gesamt betrachtet sehr komplex und eine vollständige Einarbeitung würde locker mehrere Wochen dauern. Über die ganzen Sonderfälle, Klärfälle etc., die hier noch dazu kommen, möchte ich gar nicht erst sprechen.
Scheinbar möchte mein Vorgesetzter die Realität nicht akzeptieren oder versteht die Komplexität dieses Aufgabenbereiches nicht. Denn seine Antwort darauf war nur "Das ist jetzt eine Arbeitsanweisung.".
Ich weiß schon, dass besagter Kollege und ich auch in den nächsten Wochen niemals dazu kommen werden, uns gegenseitig alles genau zu erklären. Ich habe damit kein Problem, da mir die Situation bewusst ist und ich auch nur ein Mensch bin. Dazu kommt, dass ich mit meinen jetzigen Aufgaben sowieso schon sehr gut ausgelastet bin.
Ich bin mir sehr sicher, dass so etwas oder ähnliche Situationen seitens des Vorgesetzten in Zukunft wieder vorkommen werden. Ich bin bereit ihm zu widersprechen und die obige Situation genau zu erläutern, damit er versteht, wieso ich nicht den kompletten Aufgabenteil beherrschen kann.
Nun zum eigentlichen Problem: Ich möchte nach Beendigung meiner Ausbildung ein qualitatives Arbeitszeugnis bei meinem Betrieb anfordern - unabhängig davon, ob ich im Betrieb bleibe oder nicht. Das klingt jetzt vielleicht arrogant, aber mir wurde bis jetzt nur positives über meine Arbeit gesagt. Auch die Chefetage hat schon mehrmals betont, dass sie mich nach der Ausbildung unbedingt behalten möchten. Dementsprechend sollte das Arbeitszeugnis ja auch positiv ausfallen. Ich habe nur die Befürchtung, dass das Arbeitszeugnis absichtlich negativ formuliert wird, wenn es wirklich mal zu solch einer Diskussion zwischen mir und meinem Vorgesetzten kommt.
Ich weiß nicht, ob diese Befürchtung unbegründet ist. Mich nervt es nur, dass mein Vorgesetzter die Situation nicht verstehen kann/möchte und der Realität nicht ins Auge blicken will.
TL;DR: Ich habe die Befürchtung, dass mein Arbeitszeugnis nach Beendigung der Ausbildung aufgrund einer zurzeit eher angespannten Situation im Betrieb absichtlich negativ formuliert wird.

To give a little background, my (42f) last long term relationship ended after 10 years, three months before our wedding.
Everything was booked and planned and paid for. He picked me up from work one day and confessed he couldn’t marry me because he wasn’t in love with me anymore. There was no discussion, no attempt or willingness to try to work things out. It was just done.
I was broken. After that, once I started to recover I found myself reconnecting with my childhood sweetheart. The more time we spent together the more we discovered we still loved each other. The problem was he was with another girl. I will strongly emphasis that at no point did we ever do anything physical with one another. No kissing, no inappropriate touching, nothing.
He strung me along for a year telling me how unhappy he was and they were sleeping in separate bedrooms and like an idiot I believed him. I know, I know. 🫣
Eventually I told him he couldn’t keep on having what I considered an emotional affair and not tell his gf. He agreed and went home to do exactly that.
Turns out (according to him), that he told her, she broke down and he decided to stay with her. I’m sure everyone else here is not in the least surprised.
After that I decided I’d prefer to be alone than experience the kind of pain and shame of those two “relationships” again.
Along comes my now husband (36m) We met online and bonded instantly. We met in person a bunch of times, flying to and from each others countries until I quit my job and moved to his to be together.
After a few years we bought a house together, then had a baby and then god married. We’ve been together six years now and have been so so happy. We joke about how alike we are and how we’re practically the same person just of the opposite sex.
He’s not perfect, neither am I but we’ve always made it work and we might disagree and snap at one another occasionally but we’ve never had a massive blow out fight.
I’ve been sick for a while and it’s made me depressed, I’m also not working because we’ve also moved to yet another country where I’m not fluent in the language and am six months pregnant with our second child.
Now here is the problem. We’ve grown distant, he’s stressed and tired, I’m stressed and tired and / or sick and our son is a wonderful, kind, animated little soul who has endless endless energy but we both have struggled with him because we don’t have the energy to keep up with him. He’s not got any issues that we’re aware of, nothing has been highlighted by his kindergarten teachers except a short tempter but everyone admits that he’s a handful due to his boundless energy, endless chatter and somewhat wilful nature.
I’ve started to feel as though my husband doesn’t love me anymore. He’s admitted he feels put off from penatrative intercourse due to the pregnancy and honestly that’s quite common. He’s also told me how he feels like he never has any alone time.
Either myself or our son are always home and he feels stretched thin and over stimulated. As a loner, I totally understand those feelings but part of me worries he’s also falling out of love with me.
He admits that a spark has diminished and he hopes it comes back after things settle down and assures me that he still loves me.
We have a friend couple who we’ve recently started chatting to more and spending more time with and we both seem closer to the girl of the couple. I’m finding myself feeling insecure and jealous that he may be developing feelings for her.
She and her boyfriend seem happy and committed. They’re buying a house together and she’s talking about wanting kids with him. But when we’re out or hanging out as a four she and my husband still seem to be more interested in what they’re doing than their partners.
She’s younger and a very giggly bubbly girl and I like her but I’m stressed and don’t have that same happy energy I once had.
I suspect I’m over reacting and hormonal from the pregnancy but I can’t get past these feelings and I’m now almost in tears some nights and actually cried the other night when I told my husband how I felt.
I know he won’t cheat on me but that doesn’t mean his heart won’t want someone else.
What can I do to get over my insecurities?
TL;DR I’m worried my husband has fallen out of love with me, based on my past experiences and probably pregnancy hormones. How do I work on myself to get over this?

This will be a bit long so there will be a tl,dr at the end if you don't want to read all of it. I'm new at this so bear with me.
Bit of background about myself I [18F] have diagnosed combination type ADHD though for my entire life my doctor has recommended I be tested for Autism and my school has always been saying that I have Autism for as long as I can remember. I have never been emotionally attached to my parents while I am grateful for all they have done for me I have just never been attached to them like I would care if they were gone. When I was in elementary school I was a very hyper child and I was not well behaved at all due to this in kindergarten my teachers would often tell me to go off to another part of the room away from everyone else and give me things to play with so that I would be distracted and they could teach the rest of the class without me disrupting them so I would pretty much be isolated from everyone else. I have been in special needs classes since kindergarten and I have only been put on medication for my ADHD once which was when I was 8 but I was taken off it by my parents as it turned me into a "zombie" I believe the medication was Adderall but other than that I have been unmedicated for ten (10) years. My parents have been married 18 years, I believe they got married because my mother became pregnant with me
I discovered that my mother was cheating on my father about two (2) or three (3) months ago though I had been suspecting it for over six (6) months I just never had any solid proof until two (2) to three (3) months ago. Recently I had my friend send my father the proof of my mother's affair that I have collected but to my surprise after they talked for around 15 about it their relationship has improved significantly compared to how it's been for over a year. This all started in 2023 my mother began constantly face timing this guy we'll call P I had never seen before whenever my father wasn't around when I asked about it she said P was just a friend and so I believed her and I had even spoken to the guy though he didn't sit well with me as he seemed like a prick. After about a month of my mother constantly on the phone with P whenever my father wasn't around I began to wonder if there was more to this, so I began listening in on their conversations whenever I could to see if I could hear anything that indicated that was an affair but I never got anything out of it besides lewd jokes and comments from P about black women. During this time she was giving my father zero affection and had even stopped telling me that she loved me even I said it to her.
Eventually I got fed up with them constantly talking to each other and I was very angry with my mother for taking me and my three (3) year old brother to the park for as she called it "family time" only for her to be off on her own away from us and on her phone the entire time texting and face timing P and even flat out ignoring me numerous times whenever I tried to talk to her or asked her to watch me do something, this upset me because I like getting attention from others and she had denied me that. So after I was fed up with them I went off on my mother for the first time ever while she on the phone with P and said some not nice things to her and said not nice things about P, I also brought up my suspicion of her having an affair which she denied and when I pressed her about why said lied to me about things regarding P such as where he lived, how she knew him, why she only ever called him whenever my father wasn't around, and why she started talking to him she told me it was because she "wasn't allowed to have friends" which is not true she has many friends many of which I know. After that all happened I stopped talking to her for a while and she stopped calling him whenever I was around and I began to wait for opportunities for when I could take her phone and go though it as I knew her password. I couldn't just wait for her to go to bed as she is a light sleeper and my father goes to bed a different times from her so he would see me and question me as to why I was taking her phone or she would end up waking up and question me so I had to wait for when she left her phone unattended which wasn't very often.
Two (2) months ago I was able to swipe her phone and go though it and it was all right there. I love you's, naked pictures, sexual conversations, talk of divorcing my father for P and taking my brother with, and I made sure to get plenty of pictures of it and I even found out that on a trip she took to "Ohio" in which is paid 300$ for plan tickets to and from she had actually not went there and instead went to the state P lives, I also found P's Facebook where he had pictures of himself with my mother together and the dates the pictures were posted and the date my mother left for her trip matched up, during that trip she had actually never even called back home to talk to me, my father, or my brother. For a while after I confirmed my mother was cheating on my father I blamed myself because P asked me if I was okay with him talking to my mother (This was when I still though he was just her friend) and I said I was and it made me feel like I was the one that allowed this to happen but I realized it wasn't my fault and the only one to blame was my mother. After my mother returned from her trip she had actually wanted to have sex with my father for the first time in a while though I suspect she only did it because she had sex with P and wanted to do it with my father in case she became pregnant though I have no evidence to prove this but I do know that birth control does not work for my mother as when she conceived me, my sister, and my brother she was on birth control same as her mother though take that with a grain of salt as my mother is terrible at taking medication at the same time everyday. After that I began to plan out what to do, I didn't care about what would happen to me if they got divorced I was thinking of how I could try and get this to work out best for my brother. My at the time boyfriend had gone though a similar situation as to what I was going though, his mother cheated on his father and divorced him and ran away with her affair, leaving behind her children and leaving her ex-husband in lots of debt from legal fees. I didn't want that to happen to my father so I talked with my at the time boyfriend and my friends as for what I should do and I also looked into what the divorce laws in my state which my state does not count adultery as grounds for divorce.
Eventually I got another chance to go though my mother's phone and it was more of the same old stuff but in one part she told P that she was in the process of filing some kind of legal paperwork and P seemed excited about that there was also a "protected files" thing on her phone that needed a password to get into but since it wasn't the same password as the one to her phone I couldn't get it. Once I saw that I knew I couldn't wait any longer and I had my friend send my father the proof though a burner phone number so none of it was connected me and they wouldn't know I had all of the evidence then I waited for him to confront my mother. It didn't take long for that to happen as soon as she came home from work he was on her about it but he never raised his voice or showed any kind of aggression towards my mother they just calmly talked for about 15 minutes. During so my mother never showed any kind of regret or remorse, she never even said sorry mostly just saying "believe what you want to believe" she told my father that he was just a friend from high school (Though I think there is more to it than that) and that he was obsessed with her and wanted her to divorce my father for him and even her parents where egging her on to do it but she said she didn't want to give up her family and home just to start all over and that if she wanted to leave she would have already left, but that doesn't really make sense to me as if you cared so much about your family and the life you built then wouldn't you show some kind of emotional response when all of that was threatened? she also implied that the lewd pictures she had sent P he had paid her to send them. After they finished talking they hugged and carried on with their day like nothing had happened and they have been doing things they hadn't done in years, cuddling in bed together, kissing, and hugging. Today I checked my mother's phone again and it seems she has stopped talking to P all together and doesn't even have him as a friend of Facebook anymore and I can't find their messages on Facebook messenger anymore though I doubt she really stopped.
TL,DR: My mother cheated on my father but after exposing her cheating to my father their relationship began to improve, I want to try and fix my relationship with my mother for the sake of my brother but I don't know how to go about it
While their relationship is improving my relationship with my mother is in the trash I have told her to stop talking to me or doing anything with me period as I despise cheating but I would like to attempt to fix my relationship with my mother because I want to be in my brother's life and I feel if things between me and my mother sour she will prevent me from being around him and I plan on moving out as soon as I am able to. I have two (2) older half sister's 21 and 25 respectively (Same father different mother) but I don't get to see them much since they have their own lives and one of them even has her own family, my mother also doesn't like them and I feel she played a role in keeping me from seeing them when I was growing up and I have one (1) younger sister that was put up for adoption though it is an open adoption so I still see her every now and then, I have never been able to form any kind of relationship with my siblings as I never grew up with them and I scarcely saw them during my childhood but my brother is the only one I have been able to be with long-term and I want to be able to build a relationship with my brother as he grows up and I believe fixing my relationship with my mother will help me be able to do this. I want to be able to fix things between me and my mother for my brother but at the same time I don't want to reveal that I was the one that caused her little affair to get exposed as I feel that will damage our relationship even more. How should I approach mending things with her without damaging things further? I don't believe cheaters should be given a second chance with the person they cheated on but I want to fix things between me and mother at least temporarily for my brother.

Hey Reddit, hold onto your hats because this story has everything: a wedding, a villainous MIL, a vegan crisis, a meltdown, and a phone explosion.
So, picture this: I (19F) just married my dream guy, Jimbo (30M), and we threw a totally epic vegan wedding. No meat, no dairy, just pure plant-powered bliss. Enter my MIL, Karen (because of course her name is Karen), who thinks veganism is a cult and that I'm brainwashing her precious son.
Now, my sister Kate (26F) brought her adorable son, Tommy (6M), who is on the autism spectrum. Tommy is a sweet kid with some sensory issues, so we set up a special quiet room for him, complete with soft pillows and his favorite toys.
The ceremony was beautiful, like something out of a fairy tale. But during the reception, I saw the most outrageous thing: Karen was feeding Tommy chicken nuggets. CHICKEN. NUGGETS. At my VEGAN wedding! My jaw hit the floor. I rushed over and, with steam practically coming out of my ears, asked, "What on earth are you doing?!"
Karen, with a smirk that would make the Grinch proud, said, "He was hungry and your weird rabbit food isn't cutting it for him." I was like, "Are you serious right now? You should have asked me or Kate first!" And she just rolled her eyes and said, "Calm down, it's just food. Stop being so dramatic."
Tommy, sensing the tension, started to get upset. Kate swooped in like Superwoman and took him to the quiet room to calm down. Meanwhile, I turned to Karen and told her she was way out of line. She huffed off, muttering something about me ruining everything with my "crazy vegan cult."
Next thing I know, everyone's phones are blowing up like a fireworks display on the Fourth of July. Half the family thinks I overreacted and that Karen was just trying to help. The other half thinks Karen was a total jerk and disrespected our big day.
Now, I'm sitting here, doubting myself, wondering if I really am the bridezilla Karen's making me out to be.
So, Reddit, AITA for exploding at my evil MIL at my own vegan wedding over chicken nuggets and causing a scene that led to my autistic nephew having a meltdown and everyone’s phones blowing up?

Recently, I’ve been having weird breaks in reality that are getting closer and closer in occurrence, they always happen right before I fall asleep or right after I wake up. Either way, always in that twilight zone where I’m awake but not quite conscious. I’ve been able to differentiate these from dreams because it always takes me an upward of 10 minutes to fall asleep.

1. I woke up in my DR. My room was exactly like I pictured it, and my boyfriend in that DR was lying on top of me. It didn’t feel like a dream at all, because I felt it all so vividly. I was aware that I wasn’t in my CR anymore, but I was too disoriented to ground myself. My body felt slightly sluggish and by the time I properly sat up, it dissipated into this CR.
   
2. Woke up during a nap and got sleep paralysis. (Keep in mind I NEVER get sleep paralysis except for when I’ve had these weird projections). I woke up and was fine at first, so I roll over to the side and pick up my phone, a few seconds later, I suddenly was back where I was before I started moving. It was very weird, and made me realize that I wasn’t fully conscious. It was as if my spiritual body moved without my physical body being aware of it. I thought, since my mind was relaxed and open, that I’d focus on shifting. So I let my thoughts trail and wander off and that’s when I started seeing different realities all at once. It was around 10-20 different places I experienced simultaneously. It felt very fuzzy yet so real and vidid. I would phase in and out of feeling these different bodies. I was walking in a beautiful forest, then I was on a bed in a dark room, then I was tied up in a medieval inn. In the inn, there were two jesters, one male and one female, beside my bed. The guy was chatting with his partner about how difficult it was to capture me, and then they noticed that I was awake. He gets all up in my face and starts rambling about how he was gonna make me his husband (😭) I’m put off by this so I decide to concentrate on shifting to my DR but he begins grabbing me which makes me panic and I just put all my focus into breaking the paralysis. I sit up in my CR bed but I’m still determined to shift so I lay back down, facing the side opposite of where the jesters were. I kid you not, I was right back in the inn. This time, components of both realities were meshing together. I felt a hand grab and turn me around and the guy was right in my face. His hair, hat, and grin was all that was visible. My surroundings were still my CR room but with outlines of this other reality. I also saw his partner doing acrobatics through the air. Got fed up and ended up just waking up entirely.
   
3. I wake up normally and go to my bathroom. For some reason I wanted to try something new so I laid down on the carpet and began putting my focus into shifting. Not even 10 seconds later, I feel my DR coming to me. It was a feeling I’ve never felt before, I felt the structure and energy in it so clearly. I couldn’t see it, but my body instinctively knew. Unfortunately I got trigger happy and opened my eyes too early, that’s when I saw reality fracture into two. It was like a split screen, with one side being my DR and one being my CR. After a few seconds, these screens collapsed back into my CR.
   
4. I was taking a nap when I felt extremely tired. The moment I laid down, it was barely 5 seconds when I felt myself sinking. I open my eyes to see the room swirling and collapsing. Putting my intent on my DR, I channeled that reality’s energy. Then, I could feel my whole surroundings change and somebody’s arm on my chest. Not much happened, I opened my eyes to still see my CR, and fell asleep.
   
5. I woke up, and my body felt extremely heavy. I suddenly realized that I could control my reality from previous occurrences. Though everything looked fuzzy, it was my CR room down to the exact detail. If I focused on having a body part, I would feel it. If not, I simply didn’t have one. It sort of felt like building up a reality block by block. During this time, I wasn’t fully aware of who I was, so I forgot to try and shift. The first thing that came to mind was a ghost. I called him forth and had him move my body. He turned me and dragged me off my bed and to the floor. It was so insanely vivid, despite me not fully feeling my body. After breaking the paralysis, I went from being on the floor to back on my bed in a split second.
   

Thoughts, and how should I move forward to fully shift?

I try to keep it somewhat simple. CeraVe foaming wash am and pm; Paula’s Choice vitamin C and EltaMD Clear sunscreen (am); PM I rotate between Arazlo (rx retinol), Dr. Dennis Gross Intense Wrinkle Cream, and Paula’s Choice BHA (usually once a week for that). I like Cetaphil face lotion and LaRoche Posay lotion for moisture. Anyway, I’ve noticed that my skin is peeling more than normal and wondering if it’s the hottesunnier weather… with a beach trip coming up I was curious if there was anything y’all drop from your routine (or add!) due to more sun exposure than normal. Will continuously reapply SPF and wear a hat of course! In the Southern US so it’s already 80s-90s, humid and sunny most days.

Chapter 3
Hurricane Georg.
Our first contact with the new world was a colossal hurricane. Veins of lightning shattered through the black, swirling clouds. I had just tried to calm the nerves of the ship when I saw Suri sitting in the hall beneath the control room.
She was in a lounge corner with her suitcase opened and her supplies scattered across the small table. The little light from the window illuminated her drawing for me to see over her shoulder.
The black and white sketch began at the bow of the ship. The figure of a man in facing the open ocean. Ahead of him, the familiar despair of Hurricane Georg. The man had his back towards the artist, but his stature sailed through the fierce storm without worry. His gaze only in the beautiful sight of home on the other side.
Her pencil began to etch the details of his crewmans jacket, "You have a gift, Suri. Truly, you do."
She was ahead of me, she did not jump or gasp as I had expected, "Thank you, Capi. I saw you in the reflection. Im hard to get the jump on."
"Then this shouldnt surprise you," I smiled and approached her table. "My capi stars are on the right side, "I stepped back and tapped my shoulder."
Disappointment inked her face, darkening her mood, "Dam."
I laughed and pulled up a chair. She had captured the view from the window perfectly and I made a point to tell her. As we talked the storm outside began to fade. The world around us was healed and the worries of yesterday had never existed.
Her eyes were near black, in color, and her skin was incredibly warm. Physical characteristic were useless to determine where a person was from, but 500 years ago, she would have fit at home with the people of the Middle East. Had I been a different man, her beauty and brain would make a perfect partner.
The longer I stared, the darker the world around us became. Until she broke my gaze and looked shocked at something through the window.
"Did you see that?"
"No, what was it?"
"I-Im not sure..." her face drained of color as the harsh rocking of the storm was interrupted by something else. Suri and I were flung off our chairs onto the floor, her supplies pelting us as they flew through the air. I tried to stand, but my legs were too soft to make it easy.
I struggled to a kneel using the bolted-down desk. Suri gasped and I looked down. The longer I looked, the itchier it became. Once more the world grew darker and I only had enough energy for a simple joke.
"Mr. Morgs was right about those things."
"Gud morning, Capi!" Ennay cheered from the wall-mounted screen.
I struggled to sit myself up. I was in the infirmary, only Ennay was there to greet me. My jacket was gone. All I had on was a white t-shirt and grey shorts.
"Officer Angelhart had your attire taken to be cleaned," Ennay chimed in, "Today is Wednesday, sir, 4:13am. Its the morning after you lost consciousness."
I thanked him and asked him to catch me up on the happenings in the passed half day.
"The reality is unclear, Capi, but Helmsman Archer believes we were attacked by a... a sea monster, sir."
"Archer? Hes no storyteller. Why?" I swung my legs over the bed, "get him down here or tell him im on my way."
Ennay surprised me with his fast response, "No. Sir, We had a breach. Ms. Aziz told the Doctor you had severed and artery during a spell of turbulence. The New Horizon had actually made contact with something what breached the hull. Damage Control responded in 4 minutes and were quick to contain flooding. However, we sustained a second breach."
Before he could continue, I dropped back onto the bed, "Whats the status?"
"On the New Horizon? Operational. A few sections had to be permanently sealed until we are out of this storm."
"And Damage Control?"
Ennay did not respond as quickly as he had been. It felt like an eternity before he told me, "6 casualties," the room fell completely silent. I couldnt even hear my heart beating, "5 fatalities. Sergant Franccigo Blanco is recovering in Infirmary 4C. He is unconscious, but has sustained gruesome wounds. Officer Angelhart declared a S.O.E. to assume your position. Otherwise,..."
"Yes, yes, the prosthetics. I hate that system."
"Well, sir, you are able to disable it."
"What?"
"Its not a very common scenario, but since we are not in International Sea, the law requiring your presence does not necessarily need to be enforced."
I sat back and thought for a second, "Ill discuss it with Dr. Mally. Where are they all?"
"Dr. Mally is in Infirmary 4C with Sergant Blanco. Officer Angelhart is your office filling out an incident report for both your accident and the breaches."
"Thank you, Ennay. Tell Max I am on my way and then let Dr. Mally know I will meet her shortly."
"Of course, sir."
My office was silent except for the fan gently spinning from the ceiling. Across from me was a young man, mid-twenties, with dusty blond hair. His uniform was perfect, he has even removed his hat on the perfect beat upon entering the room.
The appearance and demeanor any ship captain would be beyond proud to accept on his ship. It had just been dumb luck that he had lost both of his eyes to shrapnel sealing off the lower corridors during the state of emergency yesterday.
I poured Mr. Blanco a drink, 2444 Geoff Russel - The Hearty Mans Drink. I needed to finish the incident report, but Id never ask a man to relive what he had without a bit of buzz to his bite.
"So, Sargent Blanco, I-"
"You can call me, Fran, Capi."
"And you can call me Santago, for tonight anyway," I continued my questions. I tried my best to stay shallow and not dive deep into the pain Fran had endures just hours ago.
We talked about the 5 fatalities.
"Did you... see... them die?"
The gauze replacing his eyes stared at me, blankly. His face was uncanny, unhuman. Like the man inside may actually have been a 6th dead body.
"No," he quickly took a drink, "I did hear them, though. They yelled and screamed for me to open the door. I- I couldnt see. I thought the sea water had poisoned me somehow. I kept rubbing and rubbing my eyes hoping to get whatever radioactive stuff out of my head..." He took a breath. He was remarkably calm. Agitated, of course. But calm.
He continued, "I looked through the window on the bulkhead and the last thing I saw was Aleks staring back at me. His eyes were... he was calling out for me, I am sure of it. But something got him and he was sucked out."
"I am so sorry, Fran," I tried to write as quietly as possible to not remind him of the formality, "Do you know what got him?"
He finished his glass. As he set it down, he missed the table. The cup did not shatter, but it had jolted Fran from his memory. He lost his composure.
He started yelling at me about a horrific beast he had seen. How Aleks, Private Aleksander Igorsen, had been encased in blood and black sludge. He swung his hands wildly at the table in a rage, but had only managed to knock over a lamp.
Pity does not begin to describe what I felt watching him. Like a bleeding animal continuing to run from the wolves despite not knowing he was already surrounded. In him, I saw death. I saw anger. I saw fear. I saw what he was feeling imaging the creature that killed his men.
I grappled with him, trying to make my location known and always talking to him. I was not some monster from the unknown blackness set on hunting him and he needed to know that. He continued to struggle until I had completely engulfed his whirlwind into a hug. The screams turned to cries and then to whimpers.
After some time, I dismissed him back to his room and instructed Ennay that he was on suicide watch. Sergant Franccigo Blanco had earned a promotion or a permanent dismissal, whichever he wanted, but I needed him to take time to himself before I reminded him where we are.
The storm was intense, but at least it was consistent. By Katzs reckoning, we are approaching the halfway point of this hurricane. We had entered it 51 hours ago and Katz had said we are another 50 away from clear skies.
Unfortunately for all of us, Katzs theory was not seen through.
It began with our solar panelling being severed from their operating power banks. That was not a major issue, hydropower was our primary source. The issue arose when the New Horizon began to spin.
I had radioed the Helmsman demanding why we are weighing anchor, but the anchor was still resting above water. He said no one dropped the anchor. Something else entirely had us. We rushed to every window, every pane of glass to search for whatever it was that was stopping us.
Ennay spoke out, "Capi, Major Gorlammi has spotted our snag at 129 degrees. Nearest viewpoint is Residential Room L3D, assigned to L-"
I ignored the rest, I needed to see what was in that window. Luckily for me, Lucy Partridge was not home. I burst through the door and, for the first time, I saw a behemoth of a serpent-like creature sticking out of the water. I could not see a head, nor tail. I also had no idea if what I saw was the body or an appendage connected to some inconceivably large beast.
After enough time, I manage to figure out one of the ships heavy guns had pierced the creature and was holding us together. Our best bet was to either rotate the gun and hope its dislodged or to remove the gun entirely.
I relayed this information to Ennay to alerted the Gunner Teams and Damage Control. Yet, none of them would be given the chance. In the distance, silhouetted by sparks of lightning the size of the ship, I saw the head of the creature. It must have been miles away, but the size was unparalleled. Its head leaped from the water and swiveled back towards us. It was like a colossal eel. Flashes of light showed through its skin like veins until it sent a surge into the gun and into the ship.
The lights went out across the boat. The only light was the occasional flash from outside. It was completely dark, but I knew it was still coming for us.
I ran out of the quarters as emergency lights slowly burned. The hallway must have been 100 feet long before Id reach the staircase, but when I was halfway through, my feet left the ground.
I felt weightless for a moment. The lights burned out and all around me was darkness. My heart was incredibly slow or maybe time had slowed. I felt the doorframe to Mrs. Partridges room snap against my elbow. There was no pain. I didnt even feel pain when glass cut across my back as I was hurled through the shattered window.
I crashed into the water, it must have been hundreds of feet below me. I was in shock. I looked around and all I saw was darkness. Then, suddenly, all I saw was light. The eel sent a pulse through its body and for the first time I saw the monster entirely. It surrounded the ship above water, coiled all about the waves, and entangled the entire ocean as deep as I could see.
This is not a colossal eel surviving a hurricane.
This colossal eel is the very being causing the hurricane.
A cosmic terror named Hurricane Georg.

What if the Darkness became sentient? What if after Bae's death and being held captive by Zelena, Rumpel essentially fed the Dark One curse enough pain and turmoil to develop a mind of its own? Instead of him actively doing all the shit he did he's blacking out and waking up in weird places doing weird things, and getting more and more scared as time goes on
He tries to do something to help, but the Darkness takes over and purposefully screws it up and he has no explanation as to why
He's wondering where this hat came from
No, he didn't meet Elsa yesterday, what are you talking about? Of course he remembers Anna, he never said he didn't. No, Emma, we never had that conversation
Why is the dagger in his pocket, he gave that to Belle?
Who's heart is this? Did he take that out? What is Hook talking about?
He should really say something to someone, but every time he tries he seems to dissociate from the conversation, which is a word he got from Dr Hopper when he asked about it
When Belle banishes him, it's what the Darkness needs to fully take over and we have the Queens of Darkness and Darkness itself just wreaking havoc for sake of it, no grand scheme, no overall plan, just sowing discord and chaos and feeding on the pain
And then when Emma takes it on, it's not the standard Dark One Curse, it's souped up, strengthened and more potent than ever before - of course she struggles so badly
Even if you don't like Rumpel, just think of what the actor could have done with it

I think this book is a secret gem. It's got such a spirit of magic and realism about it. There just also seem to be veins of violence that I'm somehow not expecting and find myself being put off by. I almost feel like it would have been perfect had it been written or geared toward a younger audience; with some of the linguistic and gymnastic lyricism taken out. Thoughts; have you finished this book? And feel free to tell me I should stick to Dr. Seuss!

Hat jemand recente Erfahrung mit Dr. Liebau im FNK fuer die Mastek?
Falls der MD beim Antrag auf Kostenuebernahme mauert ueberlege ich das ganze selber zu bezahlen. Einen Termin beim Amtsarzt, um das ganze von der Steuer ab zu setzen habe ich.
Wenn ich mich fuer das FNK entscheiden sollte waehre das ganze rund 2.5-3k billiger als bei Wolter. Und dann wuerde Liebau opperieren, weil Privatpatient. Ich kann so gut wie nichts von ihr finden; auf Mastektransbuddies stehen die Chirurgennamen nicht dabei, und auch auf topsurgery finde ich nicht viel. Ja, auf allen Fotos gehen die Schnitte bis zur Mitte, aber da keine Vorher-Bilder vorhanden sind weiss ich nicht ob sie das immer so macht, oder nur bei sehr grossen Bruesten.
Wisst ihr mehr ueber sie, und wie gut sie noch ist? Ich wuerde denken, dass sie als Chefaerztin weniger operiert als viele Kollegen. Ist sie Sonderwuenschen gegenueber offen? Als ich dort mein Vorgespraech hatte hat der Arzt sie scheinbar gefragt ob mein Wunsch geht, aber mit ihr selber habe ich nicht gesprochen.

Aktuell bin ich bei der Uni Frankfurt (speziell Dr. Bokzec oder so). Und naja, nicht wirklich zufrieden. Nach nun über 1 Jahr auf E sind meine Werte nach der letzten Messung 24,5 pg/ml Estradiol und 12 ng/dl Testosteron. Diese sind mal höher mal niedriger gewesen, aber der Höchstwert von E war auch nur bei so 37.
Das war für die Ärzt*innen dort aber irgendwie nie ein Problem, und so langsam bin ich ehrlich gesagt genervt. Bei einem Besuch dort wo ich eben diese Enttäuschung genannt habe, war meine Ärztin ziemlich hart zu mir, hat mir eine relevante Dosiserhöhung verweigert und insgesamt kam es so rüber als ob sie meint dass ich ja keine Ahnung haben kann weil sie ja studiert hat etc. Bin an dem Tag fast heulend aus der Klinik rausgegangen. Sie kriegen es auch beim besten Willen nicht hin Namen oder Anrede auf den Terminzetteln zu ändern
Wegen all dem würde ich mir gerne von jemand anderem Mal eine Zweitmeinung einholen, auch mit dem Ziel, meinen Endo zu wechseln. Ideal wäre im Rhein-Main-Gebiet (Frankfurt, Mainz, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt etc.), aber es kann auch etwas weiter weg sein, so oft muss ich da ja nicht hin. Es wäre ebenfalls schön, wenn dieser Endo auch Progesteron verschreibt (was die Uni Frankfurt auch strikt verweigert), ist aber kein muss. Falls jemand Gynos kennt die das auch machen nehme ich die gerne auch.
