I've been dancing for a few years before Covid and now I want to get back to dancing. So i went through my favorite songs and guessed what dance was fitting but I'm a bit lost now. The Styles I learned were vinesse Walz, slow Walz, Discofox, Rumba, Chacha, Salsa I also learned the Basics of Slowfox, Foxtrott, Quickstep, Jive, Tango, Rock n Roll and a few more.
Now I'm having a bit of trouble finding the correct dance to the songs, so here I have lists of what I think might be correct. It would be nice if you confirm the correct ones and tell me what dance the wrong ones are instead. I know there are a lot so if it's just a few it would also be helpfull Thanks in advance :)

Hi everyone, my name is Arianna. I've just got an ipad and it has garageband which I never had before because all my other devices are android... So I recored a cover of "La soluzione" by Laura Pausini... I would love to start uploading covers on youtube, I love singing, it is my life, and I would also love to do it for a living! The problem is that I feel SO insecure and like I'm never good enough... I literally only allow my mum to listen to my singing... can you give me some advice please? Please tell me if you like my voice, what I could do better, and also how to be less insecure... Thank you!

Just venting, looking for some comfort from fellow Shakira fans. I’ve been a huge fan for 27 years now, ever since I heard Shakira on the radio in Central America before she started going viral with her English albums. She is one of the few artists remaining on my concert wishlist, now that I saw Laura Pausini live a couple of weeks ago. Up until her El Dorado tour, none of her concerts were close enough for me to see. When that tour was announced, I got a ticket for her Chicago show - about 5 hours from me. I asked for that January weekend off at work and booked a weekend getaway. A month before the show, it was rescheduled for August. Oh well, I ended up going to some Broadway shows instead and still enjoyed my weekend getaway.
As summer approaches, I look at my work calendar. The rescheduled show is on the first day of Tax Free Weekend, so any time off requests are automatically denied. I explain to my boss the situation, tell them I can be back to work full shifts on Saturday and Sunday (two of the three days of the sale), I’d work extra long shifts if it would help, and tell her that I had originally purchased the ticket when I thought the show would be in January, when work is slow. If I had known it would be that weekend in August, I would’ve asked permission before buying the ticket. She told me tough luck, it’s a mandatory all hands on deck day, and I can’t have the day off. I ended up reselling my ticket for more or less what I paid (you don’t get much for single seats)
I’ve been waiting 5 years for another opportunity to see Shakira. When the new album was announced, I knew a tour would be announced soon as well. I was super excited. When the dates were announced, I saw that they are all in NovembeDecember - our busiest time of the year, but my current bosses are much better than the previous one. I’ve told them my story about the last show I was forced to miss, and they said they’d never do that to me. I marked the Chicago date on my calendar and waited for the fan presale date. The night before (during the Citi presale), I checked for an estimate of the prices and saw that everything was almost sold out already. Once the fan presale hit, everything was gone and resale tickets were around $300.
I’ve never paid $300 for a ticket. I can’t afford $300/ticket and it’s not worth it for the worst seats in the house. So now, because of resellers and Ticketmaster’s surge pricing, I’m going to miss out on seeing Shakira. This will be my third strike, so I’ll concede that I’ll probably never get to see her live (although I’ll always hold on to that sliver of hope that there might be a tour in the future and I might be able to afford it then)

I’m trying to learn Mandarin and get into Mandarin media but I can’t find any Mandarin musicians to start following
I liked Phoenix Legend’s “最炫民族风”/ Most Dazzling Folk Style but I didn’t love much of their other songs.
Some artists I like in other languages:
Tiger Army for their instrumentals and angsty lyrics
Anais Mitchell for the poetic meaning and storytelling in her lyrics
Laura Pausini because she has the most gorgeous voice in the world
Boa for the catchy instrumentals (her voice is good too)
If you know any artists that sing in Mandarin but are similar to the above, please let me know! But I have kinda broad musical tastes so even if your favorite Mandarin-speaking artist is way different please share!

Are there any former Eurovision singers / bands touring in your country this year?
I’m super stoked to see Monika Lynkite (Lithuania 2015 & 2023) perform in L.A. next week and the Ukrainian band, The Hardkiss, in L.A. in October.
Just two weeks ago I saw Laura Pausini, who was amazing, in L.A. (Eurovision 2022 host), but missed Dadi Freyr’s show in Phoenix, Arizona 2 days ago and Blind Channel a few months ago.
