This should go without saying but preface - I do not want kids to grow up blindly listening to everything an adult says and never questioning them, because that can be quite dangerous. Duh. With that said, WHY do they have to question me on even the most basic things? Some prime examples below:

This is my life with these middle schoolers. Me, an adult who works in the building (eg goes to meetings and reads emails where we make important decisions and receive important information) having to justify every single tiny thing to kids who lose track of a pencil within half an hour. Sometimes I just want to tell them to shut up and do what they’re told!
I don’t mind when they ask why we’re learning something, or point out something that doesn’t seem right in an article we’re reading, or comment on the poor organization of a school event. Those questions are all productive because it’s all subjective which leaves openings for curiosity. But to play 20 questions about a statement as simple as “The assembly got rescheduled to Wednesday instead of Friday” is such a waste of time, it’s like debating an objective fact. Just say okay and go where you’re told to go, your teacher that period will line you up and get you where you need to be, you should know that! Argh! Two more weeks.

I freaked out this morning, bc tomorrow we are going to record (if everything went smoothly) The rest of the scenes, and she pushed me and say like "if we cant record tomorrow we (she, bf and friend) arent going to lose other day to do this" i was "what? Basic questions… I was terminated from my employment within my 3 month probation period with a company that is Federally Regulated. The reason she put in my letter was that I was failing to meet the expectations of the position. I never once was advised my performance wasn’t satisfactory or received any sort of feedback or coaching while there so I’m confused. She wouldn’t tell me what expectations I didn’t meet or give examples. I know typically employers can terminate in the probation period but I’m worried my ROE will reflect a reason indicating it was my “fault” and therefore won’t qualify for EI. I’m aware Federally Regulated businesses cannot terminate without cause even with severance but not sure if that is valid in the probation period. What do you think?

Male (22) and female (19)- I’ve been with my girlfriend for 4 months now. Things were great, at first. More recently she has been very clingy.
For example, she’ll say things like “you don’t love me as much as i love you” and say that I don’t text her as much as I did in the beginning. I (24M) took a financial analyst job (remote, full-time) at my parent’s real estate company last year. I was changing fields, and was struggling to find a job in finance due to me not having a relevant undergrad major or experience, so they helped me out.
In exchange for my work, they have been paying for my grad school (~60k/year OOS tuition), providing free housing in one of their nearby rentals (~24k/year in lost income), free food, etc., so I’d say it has been more than fair.
In effort to to venture out on my own though, I’ve been applying to other jobs, and was recently offered a “financial analyst II” role at a F500 in my dream city.
This new company is now requesting info to run criminal & employment background checks though & I am worried I’ll fail it because my job with my parents has been off the books.
I actually worked this job, it is not a lie, and I’m sure the only reason I got this new offer is because I had that 1 year of relevant experience at the top of my resume, and was able to talk about my accomplishments in detail.
But what should I do for BGC purposes? Do leave it off of the BGC and risk getting questioned by HR on why I left it off? Do I report it and deal with it once I get flagged by the BGC company?

Does anybody have any advice on how to get Spectrum to reactivate an email address? The email address was associated with both a personal account and a business account. The woman who managed the business office used it to manage the owner's account. The owner died, his son shut everything off.
Spectrum deleted the email address that she had for over 20 years, even though it was still associated with her personal account. She has lost access to everything. She still has a Spectrum account and active service. The phone reps are telling her there's nothing they can do.
