I am looking to build my first PC and feeling lost every time I see some "Razorknife GPXU 2930 drive coil 2.0" being compared to a "Razorknife GPXU 2930 drive coil 2.0 II". I am pretty savvy with a computer once it's not parts, but I would appreciate some patient help in getting started on this endeavor.
My budget is between $1400-$1800 but I would like that budget ideally to include any additional costs such as peripherals, shipping, or whatever computer glue I will need.

- Adobe Suite- I will be editing short, but quality, videos between 2-10 minutes long in Premier Pro, large RAW images in Lightroom, designing graphics with >30 layers in Photoshop, and working extremely huge and extremely tiny SVGs in Illustrator. I have never worked in After Effects or Substance because my laptop sucks, but I may check them out if I can.
- AI- As AI becomes more commonplace, and efficient, I want to make sure that I am able to make use of its capabilities. I often find myself using it to generate textures or troubleshoot code. I'm not sure what technical burden this puts on hardware, if any, but I figure it was worth mentioning.
- App Development- At some point I would like to work on developing a few ideas I have. The apps themselves would be fairly simple mobile applications, but this is more of aa hobby than anything.
- Gaming- This is my lowest priority, but I do play some popular games (Apex, Rocket League, Helldivers, Rust, etc.). I'm not a gamer though; I don't stream or use mods, and am not interested in 420 fps. I have a PS5, so it isn't a dealbreaker, but if a few extra $$$ would make me never buy a console again, it's worth it.
- If all goes well, I would likely upgrade keep making my workflow more efficient.
- I know nothing about which OS is better. I am migrating from Apple so I have no opinions.
- I use one monitor, but I might run two because I usually use my iPad to play music/video while I work.
- I also use my iPad for digital drawing but may opt for a Wacom-type Tablet.
- If aesthetics cost extra, I don't care that much, but something all black would be cool.

A thread on Sideloading on MobileRead is claiming that enabling Sideload mode using the "Kobo eReader.conf" method will disable the built-in Google Drive and DropBox functions in Libra Colour. There is a YouTube video there also suggesting that this is because Kobo sign-in (which Sideload will skip over) is required for Google Drive and DropBox to work. Both Google Drive and DropBox will supposedly disappear from the settings menu. Can someone who did this Sideload modification confirm whether or not this is true? If so, is there a workaround?

Before late 2023, I used to listen to music on Spotify like 8-10 hours everyday. But after 2024, I've started using YouTube instead due to how bad Spotify has gotten over the years.
The most noticeable difference is the ads. God, I've hated the ads ever since I've started using Spotify, but it is only getting worse. Nowadays, you get increasingly more ads on Spotify, 1 ad per 2-3 songs. And every single one of them is a goddamn 30 seconds long ear-rape about craps that I don't even care about. It's even worse on mobile when most of the time, you get two of them back to back every time you have an ad break. On YouTube, you get a lot less ads, about one every 3-7 videos. They sound a lot easier on the ears, and half of the time it's about things that I do know or do care about, and they are skippable after 3-5 seconds, otherwise, they last for about 10 seconds at most.
Next up, the utilities. Yeah, yeah, there is almost no difference regarding this on PC. But it's really bad on mobile. On Spotify, you can't loop playlists, you can't loop a single song, you can't do normal listening and forced to be in a shuffle with bad algorithm, and you can't listen to your playlist again when it has ended, which is extra irritating when your playlist is short (i.e. about 10-15 songs). Hell you can't even skip more than like, what? 6 times per hour? While all of this is completely available for free on YouTube. And recently, they've removed the ability to see the lyrics for Spotify Free. Sure, YouTube never has built-in lyrics, but many videos still have lyrics enabled through the video itself or through subtitles. Or you can take a bit more time and see the lyrics in the video's description or in the comment section.
And what's better than an unsatisfying listening session on mobile due to being forced to use bad-algorithm'ed-shuffle? Yeah, that's right. Bad recommendations. After you're done listen to all of the songs in your playlist, you are usually forced to recommended songs that Spotify thought to be "similar" to the songs in your playlist. Half of the time, they are bad, just bad. And you thought that the "-" button in the bottom would work to make songs and/or artists like that appear less on your recommendations, right? Well then, screw yourself because it does not. You still get the same crappy song and artist, it doesn't matter how many times you try pressing that "-", nothing changes at all, at least until you remove the so called "similar" song in your playlist. I especially had this issue when I had the song "Christmas Truce" by Sabaton in my playlist. When the recommendations come, half of them is filled with really bad "epic"-Christmas-rock/metal songs from that one random band that I don't even know about. And it just keep on appearing no matter how many times I skipped that song or pressed the "-" button.
Maybe, you thought that using Spotify would be easier on your battery and internet because it only runs in the background, especially when your phone is screen off, and only uses audio, right? Well, my experience completely contradicts that. For mobile, many times on my 15-minutes listening sessions while only having Spotify running and the screen is completely off. Spotify would consume up to 5% of battery. That's 1% every 3 minutes, comparable to the game Honkai: Star Rail, which uses 1% every 2.5 minutes. And Honkai: Star Rail has many CPU and GPU-intensive processes for game calculations, assets loading, graphics and audio going on. Meanwhile, if I only has YouTube running on 240p, the video minimized and the screen brightness is set to lowest, it would take YouTube from 1 hour to 1.5 hours to consume the same 5%. That is a 300% to 500% difference in efficiency. And the audio quality of Spotify bares almost no difference to that of a 240p YouTube video. The situation is almost no different on PC. On the low-end laptop that I usually use, when YouTube is in the background, YouTube would use 0.5% CPU and about 250 MB RAM through out the listening session thank to sleeping tab feature on browsers, compared to Spotify 1-3% CPU and 250 MB RAM. The difference is almost ignorable most of the time, but it's really noticeable when I'm using resource-heavy apps. I gain about 15-20 FPS, or 30-50% increase when having YouTube sleeping instead of having Spotify in the background. Especially when the next song or ad break comes in, YouTube would have absolutely no problem handling this and the laptop would still run smoothly, but Spotify CPU consumption would just suddenly jump up to 10-25% on top of the already high resource consumption of resource-heavy apps and completely lags the crap out of whatever I'm doing for 2-8 seconds, which is extremely irritating. I once thought that Spotify would use less internet as it only uses audio, which it does, but not much at all. On 240p, which has comparable audio quality to that of Spotify, YouTube would use only about 1-5% more data than Spotify. As a 240p video isn't actually that much. And the advertisements on Spotify actually consumes a lot of data.
You do have to tell YouTube that you still want to continue listening at times or use split screen on mobile if you want to listen while doing something else. But it's worth the trouble for me.
Please note that this is only about YouTube and not YouTube Music.

Just a few days ago you'd be able to order a channel's videos by popularity or from the oldest to the newest.
Now, i was trying to do the same thing, and only the first 10-20 videos appear, while before it was all the videos. Anyone noticed this too?

On May 8, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery announced a bundle of its streaming services — Disney+, Hulu and Max.
Comcast’s offer follows a model similar to several bundles from Verizon: Its streaming bundle will be offered to existing Comcast subscribers, which could help prop up its pay-TV subscribers.
The company lost 487,000 cable TV customers during the first quarter, Comcast reported during earnings on April 25. The company’s wireless business, however, saw a 21% jump in customers to 6.9 million total lines.
Comcast did not disclose the price of the upcoming bundle. Peacock subscription plans start at $5.99 per month, though that’s increasing to $7.99 per month this summer. Comcast broadband customers typically receive a discount on the company’s streaming service.
Netflix plans start at $6.99 per month, and Apple TV+ costs $9.99 per month.

I have two different recordings. I want to merge them together for a final 360 video. I can save each out as a 360 video but the current insta360 studio nor mobile app will allow me to join two 360 videos. If I can get the software to treat both sets as one recording I would then just have it save it out as one 360 video.

The last 18 months, since becoming the CEO, has been an extremely difficult time for the Intellivision business. A long list of disappointments from both inside and outside of the company had to be taken head on. During this time we laid off a large portion of our staff, restructured our management team, and began the process of reevaluating every aspect of the business, which included the path that lay ahead for Intellivision.
What we have distilled down from countless hours of self assessment is that we are, or more accurately, wish to be, in the business of creating a living room experience that brings people of various ages together in group play. It is the experience between people, sitting in the same room, that will be our primary measure of success. This, first and foremost, comes from offering great content.If that's your "primary measure of success," I guess you realize by now that you have utterly failed, right?
As an entertainment business, we realize that creating great content requires world class partners and a focus on strategies where we can effectively achieve the necessary level of excellence to succeed. To this end, we will be announcing a string of new partnerships that will not only help bring fun and innovative content that captures the Amico experience, but also bolsters and celebrates our content's appeal by (1) licensing our IP to development partners who have product pedigrees that are creatively aligned and best poised to bring something great to market, (2) leveraging our IP in ways that ensures delivery on Amico but additionally expands our content to entirely new audiences Intellivision would otherwise be unable to reach and (3) acquiring new IP that embodies Amico and fits our strategic focus.
