About 3 years ago I started to get into photography with a Z50 and loved it. Over the next 3 years GAS totally consumed me and it lead me to switch systems quite a bit. Over the last 9 months I almost didn't use my camera due to family stuff. I sold my last camera and thought I was out of photography after that.
Then last week I was looking through the photos I took over the past 3 years and it began to itch again. Promising myself to not get consumed with GAS anymore, I started to look for a relatively cheap camera that could suit me for my needs.
I found a like new Z6 locally with 7700 clicks for €800 and decided to go for it. I can't wait to start shooting again.

Shooting tethered to capture one on a MBP. Earlier today everything was working great. I come back from a break, turn the camera back on, and now it’s not transferring photos.
The camera is recognized and can be controlled by the computer. Fire the trigger and get the little orange line around the button on Capture One.
Tried a different cable, tried a different computer, tried shooting without the card, tried removing the battery for a few minutes.
The computer recognizes the camera, but nothing transfers. I’m in the studio with the model sitting burning money.
EDIT: Did a reset of camera settings and all is good again. No settings changed. I’m wondering what setting it could be.

Before I got married to my wonderful husband we had gone months and months stressing each other out with trying to plan the perfect day. Neither of us particularly had the flair for planning large occasions and being both introverted we were really only planning the day to appease our families. We had spent months planning and I had the idea that I wanted to surprise him with a sentimental and personal gift. I wanted the gift to show my cheeky and slutty personality that would be for his eyes only. After speaking to one of my girlfriends she mentioned that I should consider a boudoir photoshoot, which she said she had done in the past for her husband. I completely fell in love with the idea and rushed to do my research and book it in. Within a couple of days I had found a photographer that wasn’t too far from my home and made a midday booking.
The photographers name was Christian and we emailed back and forth as we spoke about the finer details and what would be involved. I picked out a number of sexy outfits and pieces of lingerie and eagerly awaited the big day.
When the day finally came I drove to Christians studio which was a gorgeous ultra modern house located in an affluent area. I knocked on the door with my gym bag in hand and was wearing some very slutty makeup. My lips were pink and my black hair was straightened and fell down past my tits. Christian answered the door and I was stunned at how gorgeous he was. He was tall and wore a white shirt and suit pants. He had a full head of sandy hair and a really chiseled face. I got so nervous and was acting like a school girl.
He invited me in and we immediately started innocently flirting with each other. He was looking me up and down and there was definite chemistry. I couldn’t wait till he saw me in my first outfit.

We continued to flirt and after a bit I got the courage to say, “you know this is kind of hot.” Christian smiled again and said “you’re very beautiful. Your husband is very lucky.”
The next pose I was in was a doggy style pose on a bed. Things were starting to heat up between us and I could see his bulge in his pants. I said, “this is my favorite position you know & by the way I know you’re hard under there.” He got so embarrassed but then got closer and was taking more closer shots. As he got closer he looked at me and kissed me on the fucking lips. At that point I totally freaked out and realized that I had crossed the line. I was being a total slut but his kiss made me instantly wet. I made up some dumb excuse and then left the house. A few weeks later he emailed me the photos.

Hello, techsupport community.
This is my parents’ old camcorder. I want to make it work to shoot fun videos on it. I remember turning it on like year ago, so it definitely works.
However, there are several problems. - I don’t know what kind of DC cable I need to use to turn it on. - I don’t know where to get the new battery and how to charge the battery. - Tape does not come out. When I push on the ‘push button’, tape won’t eject.

Im torn between getting the PIxel 8 Pro and the Iphone 15 Pro. My current phone is Android (a Xioami ... never again), the one before that was an Iphone 6S. My dilemma is that I'm heavily integrated into Google. Email, notes, calendar and everything on google drive, and I use google assistant. I was just wondering if there are many balls-deep google users who have IPhone's and like the experience? Can you use google's screen-calls on the Iphone for example?
Why dont I just get the PIxel 8 Pro then I hear you ask? Well, I dont like being ripped-off and I get the feeling that the hardware on the Pixel 8 isnt really flagship, despite having a flagship price (i also resent there being minimal diferences between the PIxel 8 and 8 pro, more just software restrictions on the photo app). The Tensor G3 chip compared to A17/latest Snapdragon is poor and some of the flagship functionality of the Pixel 8 (summarise article function for example is only available in the US, and im from the UK...which begs the question what else is missing for non-Us customers/or will be missing in future updates) the video on the Iphone is better (I like the Idea of having Log format to shoot in too..though who knows if will really use it), and I reckon the photos on both devices are basically comparable. The iphone is however a very boring device compared to the Pixel.
So, any heavy google users on the Iphone 15 Pro and like the experience compared to using it on a Pixel?

I'm not going to get into the details related to George Santos and the absolute clown show of his career.
But I was watching a story about him and one thing suddenly became perfectly clear, and made perfect sense, you might even say it's predictable despite its utter Madness and the thick fog of bullshit that surrounds everything about him.
He has repeatedly responded to established facts about his past and his actions and his background by just saying no I didn't do that or no that's not what happened.
If I actually went through all of the events and details he claimed about his past and his actions that turned out to be absolute horseshit and easily debunked then we'd be here all day.
But probably the one that stands out in everyone's memory is the fact that he was a drag queen for years, and an ambitious one at that.
Once press got a hold of irreproachable evidence for it, that fact was widely published and caused quite a stir given his location on the map of political ideology. But even though there were photos of him doing it, videos including one of him in drag proudly discussing how many venues where he had performed, and witnesses who knew him then all made public...
Santos just said no I didn't.
He gave the same response when being caught in many many other lies; I mean basically his entire biography is fiction cut from whole cloth. When and how his mother died, where he went to school, where he'd worked, pretty well everything he ever said about himself was absolute gobbledygook and reporters were digging up absolute incontrovertible proof.
But he just keeps saying no I didn't or you miss heard me or I misspoke.
Why?
It just hit me like a ton of bricks that George Santos is not an absolute mad man nihilistically weaving fairy tales for his constituents while assuming the press couldn't possibly uncover the mountain of evidence that disproves everything he says.
Santos was just following in the footsteps of the most successful Republican in more than a decade.
Trump does exactly that. Trump simply denies and dismisses things for which there's unquestionable proof.
Trump makes constant claims that are easily disproven.
And yet nearly half of Americans are 100% on his bandwagon. They have the incredible staggering ability to just ignore evidence and facts. No matter what the proofs are no matter how airtight they just say no he didn't do that because he said he didn't do that.
In a world of politics where there is absolutely no significant meaning given to what's provable or factual regarding Trump, where his followers' ability to blind themselves regarding reality and regurgitate absolute Fairy Tail nonsense like it's gospel is so powerful you could swear they were robots. Droids programmed to only accept particular input and only spit out particular affirmations with no possibility of reflection or serious consideration or even possibly changing that opinion just because they love that guy so damn much.
In a world where that is actually a thing it makes absolutely perfect sense for George to shoot his shot at just saying no to everything proof or not. To simply call people who are pointing out his lies liars.
Because it worked perfectly for the new Republican role model. He would have had at least some chance of pulling it off.
My opinion is that he failed to reach anywhere near Trump's level of safety from incriminating truths mainly because he's just a repellent human being and the accusations included drag which in America right now seems to be on a road towards being legally deemed so heinous as to Warrant the death penalty.
But he tried it.
And it damn well could have worked. That's where we are. Facts and proof mean nothing. If you're on the right team and you hate the right people you can do any horrid inexcusable thing, like taking a bunch of minors away from their homes to another state, passing them around for you all to fuck at parties with your buddies, have that indisputably proven, and still be extremely successful, laughing your ass off while you watch the Rubes who support you telling reporters that they just don't believe any of that stuff because you are one of theirs.
This is a terrifying new landscape where politicians who frankly were always widely believed to be overall a corrupt and crooked collection of individuals, can truly perpetrate the most absolutely horrible acts imaginable, seemingly especially rapes since Matt Gates and Donald Trump are both well known and proven sexual predators and yet our two extremely successful politicians to this day.
And all they have to do say no I didn't do that and the people voting for them immediately become impervious to all proof taking their word as the absolute gospel and closing their eyes and ears to anything that might run counter to that belief.
I don't think it's an exaggeration anymore just say that Trump could pull out a gun and shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue then look at it a crowd of supporters and say I didn't do that and they would all cheer and emphatically agree that no he did not do that.
My God this is depressing. I feel like I could go drink a whole bottle of bleach right now. Maybe put my head in the oven but it's electric so probably won't help.

Im torn between getting the PIxel 8 Pro and the Iphone 15 Pro. My current phone is Android (a Xioami ... never again), the one before that was an Iphone 6S. My dilemma is that I'm heavily integrated into Google. Email, notes, calendar and everything on google drive, and I use google assistant. I was just wondering if there are many balls-deep google users who have IPhone's and like the experience? Can you use google's screen-calls on the Iphone?
Why dont I just get the PIxel 8 Pro then I hear you ask? Well, I dont like being ripped-off and I get the feeling that the hardware on the Pixel 8 isnt really flagship, despite having a flagship price. The Tensor G3 chip compared to A17/latest Snapdragon is poor and some of the flagship functionality of the PIxel 8 (summarise article function for example) is only available in the US, and im from the UK) the video on the Iphone is famously better (I like the Idea of having Log format to shoot in too..though who knows if will raelly use it), and I reckon the photos on both devices are basically comparable. (please note that none of the other androids appeal - Samsung, et al)
So, any heavy google users on the Iphoone 15 Pro and like the experience compared to using it on a pixel or similar?
